I am STILL in the process of moving from Colorado to Pennsylvania. Star Van Lines seemed like a legit and good quality company with prices lower than most (that should’ve been my first clue). Even after my price went up after they loaded my stuff onto the truck (I did use more square feet than I was quoted so totally understandable). They said they would hold my belongings for free for up to a month, which worked perfectly because I was supposed to stay in an Airbnb until I found my own place. Fast forward 3 weeks after they loaded my stuff… I found my own place and contacted them to set up a delivery date. Well here I am three weeks later and they're lying to me every chance they get. They'll only text me. They won't ever call. And when I am anything but pleasant through text, they completely ghost me! Just give me my stuff!!!!

Great job!!! Not going to lie. I almost didn't move with you guys because of your reviews. However, my rep Fred assured me the move would be the best move I've ever had. So, I rolled the dice. And Fred delivered on his word! Movers were at my door at 8am sharp in port saint lucie, fl. They had my 3 bedroom home disassembled and everything wrapped before 10:30am they loaded my stuff "With care" I might add. Told me they would be in north carolina in 2 days. Met the same crew in nc 2 days later. And again, the movers (John and Scott) knocked it out the park! I tipped each guy $150.00 because they earned that! Had my house set up to where all I had to do was plug in my tv and grab the remote! I definitely will recommend star van lines to anyone I know moving and if I need to move again. Fred, ill be giving you a call.

Do not book with this company. It is a waste of your time and money. I have left voicemails. I have sent emails and I have not heard back from anyone regarding my move that I put down money for. Because my lease was up, I had to vacate my apartment and move everything by myself. These people are not trustworthy. They do not communicate and I am almost certain it’s fraud at this point. I was told I would be contacted and no contact has been made. It has been a week now.

DON'T BOOK THESE PEOPLE! THESE PEOPLE TOOK 320 DOLLARS. THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO THE JOB. They have poor communication skills and very unprofessional. I just want my money back. I still have the messages between the 2 people and the driver. Give me my money back quickly.

I was told a time the movers would be there and they showed up 4 hours late, once my furniture was loaded they tried to charge me more than stated on contract. Also, I was told my furniture would arrive to my new location in 2-3 days, but delivery wasn’t made until 10 days later. Also, the Star Van Lines representative (Fred) called me 2 to 3 times a day for my deposit and once paid, the representative (Fred) stopped answering my calls. I will never use this company again!!

I would NOT recommend Star Van Lines ever. I used them to move from Florida to TN. They were a day and a half late coming to pick up my items. They were supposed to be at my place on Friday, (they called me back and stated they were having truck issues, and would be out at 0800 Saturday) they showed up on Saturday at 11:30 am. Zero contact.

DO NOT BOOK THIS MOVING COMPANY. I cannot emphasize how horrible they were in every way except one…. When they were attempting to book my business and were calling me every 30 minutes. My moving costs were almost double what they quoted me, and they charged me extra for everything possible, including having 10 steps to climb up instead of 7. I feel like it was a classic bait and switch tactic. They loaded my items onto the moving van before telling me that it would be another $3,000 because they were "heavier" than anticipated…. And then the day before arrival they said the van couldn't get to my street and they had to get a smaller shuttle that would cost $2,000.

Had a great experience with Star Van Lines moving from New York to Hollywood, FL. Max and Alex were professional, fast, and super careful with my stuff. Everything arrived safely and on time. Highly recommend!

Updated on 05/14/2025: Just look at these boxes and mirrors, shattered and crushed. No regard for my things. Items never received. They had the gall to call and ask me to take this down as it might affect their company. Really? What about my things. Items that are irreplaceable and just bent, broke and horrifying. Do not use this company. Ever!

I had called a couple of other places before calling Star Van Lines, but they were the most responsive. I received a call back from a gentleman, and we got things set up. They listed down everything that I had to move, and their company rates it based on how much stuff that I had. The first day that we had it scheduled, they weren't able to come on time, so I had to reschedule for the next day.

Updated on 04/24/2025: Quick update…. This company tried to buy me out of my previous bad review… I told them I would be willing if they compensated me the correct amount of the damaged items. They came back with another incredibly low ball offer. So now we know they get good reviews and or don’t have many bad ones… Please don’t trust this company

Movers showed up and doubled the price because I had "extra stuff". I said, "just move the stuff on the list" and they said there wasn't room in the truck. I was held hostage. When I agreed to pay extra ($1310) there was room on the truck. The laborers asked to be paid directly, not to Star Van Lines. And, they wanted cash or zelle/venmo. Justin (who gave me the original estimate) said I needed to pay the extra money-although the bed was for $1310 less, the movers REFUSED to move my things. At our arrival destination, there was one driver, and one laborer. The driver spent much of his time smoking--my husband, sister in law and I unloaded the truck with them.

I wouldn’t recommend Star Van Lines to anybody else. I gave them a list of stuff over the phone twice that needed to be moved and some heavy stuff. And then when they got there, they were going to charge me $1,200 more than they quoted and said that they couldn't absolutely load some of the stuff. I even had some stuff damaged. The driver was supposed to bring four guys but he only brought two. And if it hadn't been for our neighbor, we never would have gotten it loaded.

The movers from Star Van Lines were very good at everything they did. The cost was a bit higher than I expected, but it was a tough job since I live in a cabin in the mountains. It is fair enough cause I talked to quite a few other movers and all of them was a little bit more money because I also have stairs. There were only two guys, and they did a great job. I found them online and chose them because they were the only ones who were very communicative.

I thought Star Van Lines was reputable. But it ended up being a total disaster. Half the things that I meant to take, I left. Things I didn't want, I did take. It was very disorganized. And what the initial quote came to be was half of what they charged me. The drivers didn't speak a word of English.

We had the pleasure of working with Mykola at both the pickup and drop off of our belongings. Mykola and Serhii were there to drop everything off. They both did an amazing job. I would recommend them to anyone who needs good, honest movers. Star Vans Lines did a great job.

They do not answer the phone. They provide no information. They miss their scheduled pickups. It is a sham of a place and they deserve to be shutdown. Star Van Lines is a scam. They took my deposit, missed the scheduled pickup, and now won’t answer the phone. No updates, no accountability—just a sham company that should be shut down. Avoid at all costs!

We found out about Star Van Lines through my mother-in-law, and I feel like this is going to be a company that we keep in the family. They're hardworking guys. We appreciate everything that they did for us. Overall, we had a great experience. We recommended them to our relatives out in Florida who are planning on booking something because they want to move out here to Ohio as well.

I moved this summer from Sacramento to North Carolina, and honestly, I had no idea what to expect. But Star Van Lines absolutely nailed it! The heat was insane, but their team powered through like it was nothing. I was shocked at how tough they were—seriously impressive! Everything went smoothly: they arrived on time, packed my stuff carefully, and made sure nothing got damaged. Moving such a long distance is always stressful, but these guys made it so much easier. Huge thanks to the team! If I ever move again, I’m definitely calling Star Van Lines.

I tried to get ballpark quotes from others, but they wanted to come and see what needed to be moved before they would give me one. I asked for a recommendation from one of my friends who told me about Star Van Lines, and he was able to give me a quote that would be final. It was interesting because it turned out that it's the owner of the company who I was talking to, and I didn't realize that he would also be the one doing the move together with a few employees. They helped me to wrap some of the things, so that was nice. It was a local move, about 45 miles, and they didn't damage anything. So, good experience, good company, fast move.

My friend had used Star Van Lines and recommended them. Everything was fast, which is good since I don't like to spend too much time talking. I wish it could have been a little bit cheaper, but everything was great in terms of customer service. The move itself was perfect, and all of the stuff is fine. I’ve used companies before that damaged my stuff. I would recommend Star Van Lines to my friends and family.

They’re doing a great job, and I wish there were more companies as professional as theirs.

I was helping out somebody to move stuff to Texas, and I was responsible for everything. The foreman was nice. Everything was well done. It really was a good experience.
