Hello I partnered with America First Moving, to conduct a big move I have from one home to another. They were confident, understanding, respectful. Would work with them again. They were on time and was very careful with everything even without asking. They even help me reassemble the furniture that had to be disassembled prior to loading on the truck and because of that very gesture I had a lot more time after the move to handle things that needed to be done for probably wouldn't get to it so I thank them highly for everything that we accomplished that day just within a few hours and I'm happy to do business with you guys again in the future.

DO NOT do business with this company. My experience with America First Moving was extremely disappointing. When I initially signed up with America First Moving, my quoted cost was $2,277.25. After speaking with Perry ** and providing exact measurements for all of my storage bins and belongings, I was told there would be an additional charge of $954.27. Based on those estimates, I paid an initial deposit of $1,074. However, when the movers arrived, they surveyed my inventory and claimed I had more items than I had reported, despite the detailed measurements I had already provided.

I’ve moved every 3 years and had no issues. Underestimated our move by 7K, then once we paid, they took it to a warehouse in Bloomfield and we haven’t had our stuff since. Honestly, a nightmare and it looks like we’re probably going to end up getting a legal team. Save yourself the headache and get a legitimate company with good reviews. We had multiple family members that were also going to use them but we have also warned them as well.

Don’t even want to give this place one star! They totally took advantage of me and my disabled son. He had used his Go fund me money to help us get him home from SC so I can take care of him as he has suffered 2 strokes and is terminal! They quoted me a price then deliberately left out half the inventory I had and charged me an additional 3000 dollars then left a lot of stuff there as their truck was full. They strapped my son’s mattresses to the back of a truck! I then had to rent a U-Haul to get the rest of our things and have my sister fly down to drive it back. After a week of living in a hotel with my son in a wheelchair the truck is finally coming.

Scammers! I hired them for a moving job. They subcontracted it to a third party, who charged me an extra $2,500, and I had to be on the phone for hours when they came to pick up my stuff. The contract I signed with them has no bearing on the third party; they have their own estimates and charges. I had to agree to pay extra, they wouldn't deliver my stuff. Almost felt like blackmail. I tried many moving companies in the past, but never had such a bad experience.
