We were going to use hansons to do our walk in shower and Leaf's sales associate Crystal ** sold us on how much better their company was. It was a lie. She told us that if they break something or have any water damage that they would repair any damages that occur by their installation tech. That was also a lie. Not only was the installer over 2 hours late, he also left a huge trailer of acrylic shavings through out my house. He also FLOODED my bathroom causing water damage to my living room ceiling. He was emptying our well tank, turned on the water and walked away.

She proceeded to tell us that we had to deal with the installation manager Adam out of the Detroit office. We made several attempts to get in contact with Adam with no response and now we are seeking legal counsel to get these repairs paid for. If they are this poor at repairing water damage that they caused I can only imagine the nightmare you would have to go through to get warranty work done. My advice is to STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY and seek your business elsewhere.

The sales person was polite and did a good job explaining things. The problem we have is they sold us 2 stair lifts, one for an eleven step run and one of a 4 step run. The four step run had to have a special piece that went up and down to prevent a trip hazard. The four step run cost more than the eleven step run. When the installer came out to install it looked and seemed like he did not have a clue what the discussion with the sales person was. He put the four step run on the wrong side even after we told him it was the wrong side.

We also told him that that one will not work. He installed it anyway and now we want it removed and our money back. Corporate says no refund but we will come and move it at no charge. But they will not remove it and give us a refund (not even with a 20% restock fee). Not happy with them and we will take them to court to get our money back from a completely bad installation. The four step run is not safe for people not using the stair lift. There is now almost no room to move up and down the stairs without using the stair lift.

I am extremely disappointed with a chair lift that doesn’t move. It stopped FIVE days ago, and we have been trying to get it serviced for that many days. I had reconstructive surgery on my ankle. We live in a lower level in-law suite and I am trapped. I am as upset with the service as the chair.

We are in hickory NC. If I could leave negative stars I would. One of the salesmen came out due to a fall and we were wanting to get her a lift. We have had a few companies come out to see different Prices of companies come out. The salesman quoted almost 30,000 dollars for just one set of stairs and it isn't a big house by any means. My grandmother stated that was way more than the other company that came the day before. The salesman stated to my grandmother "well you drive a genesis. That shouldn’t be an issue,” then proceeded to say what his commission would be on the sale. Then magically dropped the price to 17k and stated he will only get $100 commission.

It was so unprofessional and rude. He said statistically customers always go with the 3rd estimate. My husband worked in car sales legit know all the games. He did it all wrong. He knew from the start we were only looking for an estimate today. I couldn’t believe someone could talk to someone they are trying to make a sale to the way he did. I would NOT recommend this company and should have told him to leave from the first comment.

Now they're telling me that since I'm handicapped, and I can't get down on my hands and knees to do an inspection when the install was complete that it's my fault and it's I signed off on it. Be careful what you pay tap dollar for people.

We moved to an older home last summer that was on a well with hard water. We were buying bottled water, and our hair was breaking and skin was itchy due to the hard water. We wanted to be able to stop buying water bottles and drink filtered water and home and have soft water. We purchased the water softener and UV filtration from Leaf Home. We were told the taste would be the same as a bottle of water, and we wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Unfortunately, that's not true. Our water is now very salty and we can't drink it for that reason. Even making coffee with it makes it taste like someone poured a couple of salt packs into the cup. Really disappointed in the results and that we're still spending $$$ on bottled water.

We had our bathtub converted to a walk in shower with a partial wall added for about 12k. Construction took awhile 2/3 weeks, then a few mistakes were made and they had to send another contractor to fix the errors and finish the job. Several months later a leak in the walls was found. They came out and fixed it right away. 2 years later, sealant coming up and mold was found growing in the joint. Called to have it fixed and come to find out not like other companies it is no longer under warranty. I would not recommend using this company.

I wish I had found this site earlier, I have nothing good to say about the company and agree they don't deliver on what they sale, $15000 to have a shower stall installed, told it was going to be done by professionals, the 2 guys that preformed the work, worked like they were from a 3rd world country. Water was hooked up backwards, the nozzle stuck out 4" from the wall, the door kept sliding open, the caulk they used is a cheap kind, very hard to keep clean, the wood and drywall were from scrap material, I could have had the whole thing done by home depot for $6000. 2 years later and I'm still mad at myself for being so stupid to have spent that kind of money for beleiving they would do the work the way they said..

Business Review: LHWS of NC – A Nightmare Experience. If you’re considering Water Leaf of NC for your water filtration needs, I urge you to run in the opposite direction. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare—filled with lies, deception, and complete disregard for customer service. Deceptive Sales Tactics. I hired Leaf in NC to install a sulfur water filter for my newly purchased home. The salesman, Mr. **, knowingly sold me a system that was not capable of handling my sulfur levels. His water tests should have clearly indicated this, yet he proceeded with the sale, hiding the fact that the system wouldn’t work. After installation, they instructed me to “run the system for two weeks” to allow it to cycle and function properly. That was a blatant lie. I later discovered that the system cycles in just 20 minutes—meaning if it didn’t work immediately, it never would. They knowingly installed a useless system.

False Promises & Poor Installation. Failure to Connect the Refrigerator: Mr. ** assured me they would connect my refrigerator water line. They didn’t. When I called him about it, they said they would charge me an entire new installation fee to come back. Obviously, I refused. Delayed Installation: They scheduled my installation 10 days later than I needed it. When I found out the system didn’t work, they scheduled another 10-day delay before attempting to fix it. Lazy Troubleshooting & More Lies: When the technician finally arrived, he claimed that two water lines were “flipped backward” and told me, again, to wait two more weeks for it to work properly. But as I already knew, the system cycles in 20 minutes, not two weeks!

Useless “Process” to Avoid Taking Responsibility: After it was clear the system was faulty, they refused to take it back. Instead, they scheduled another technician visit 10 days out again, just to “read the panel.” This was just another stall tactic. Customer Service is a Joke. I called Water Leaf at least ten times, and every response was a robotic, scripted excuse. They refused to pick up the faulty system without first sending a technician—who, when he finally came, arrived in a car with no way to remove the system! When I explained this was pointless, he called his boss, and I received the same zombie response:

“We have a process.”. Translation? “Screw you, we’re keeping your money.” Even Water Leaf’s corporate office in Ohio attempted to intervene, but their calls to the Greensboro branch were ignored. That was two weeks ago—and Water Leaf still refuses to take back the filter. How I Finally Escaped This Scam. Thankfully, I disputed the charge with my credit card company, which refunded my money and promised to take Water Leaf to court if they fight it.

Today, I had a fully functioning sulfur filter installed by a reputable company (K-N-T-Co). Their installer confirmed that Water Leaf is infamous for being the biggest crooks in the area. To make matters worse, I found out that: Mr. ** was fired from K-N-T-Co before Water Leaf hired him. This very house had a Water Leaf filter installed 7 years ago—and it was immediately returned! Mr. ** was the salesman back then, too. He came here, recognized the house, knew the system wouldn't work, and still scammed me anyway.

Final Verdict: Avoid Water Leaf of NC at All Costs. Their sales team lies and hides critical information. They delay installations and repairs to stall customers.

They refuse to take back faulty systems. Their customer service is worthless. I strongly recommend going with a trusted local company instead. If you’re in North Carolina, stay far away from Water Leaf—unless you enjoy being lied to and scammed.

Ugh, where to begin. Spent 3 hours with the sales rep at my house. Was originally going to go the Bath Fitter route because it was within my budget. I expressed concerns over some stains on the caulking and Leaf rep told me it was without a doubt black mold and the only way to fix it was a total shower reno (twice the price of the Bath Fitter option). This wall backs up to my child's bedroom so of course I wanted it fixed.

Rep also told me they do not use subcontractors and that all of the installers are Leaf employees that are background checked and drug screened. Who showed up for the renovation? Subcontractors. Luckily for me, they were the most amazing guys and I will go straight to them for any future bathroom renovations. And guess what? There was absolutely no mold whatsoever behind the wall! My issue is that I was lied to. The Leaf rep was not very forthcoming about how the financing worked. I'll save the details on that but let's just say I'll never get out from under the cost of this. The lies and shadiness are ridiculous. They should be ashamed!

We purchased a shower/bathtub combo in May 2022. Since that time frame we have had water leak issues primarily with the main shower. Several installers came out, with the most recent being Wednesday, October 23, 2024. When the installer finished the work, the shower started leaking two days later. I called and texted the numbers of the POCs who we were in contact with earlier and was told someone would contact me soon (via text). As of today, Wednesday November 13, 2024, no one has contacted us. All communication has stopped! My husband and I have called and texted several times, but nothing has happened other than puddles of water in the corner of our bathroom floor and my sinus flaring up due to my "SMELL" of water. Also, not to mention the underneath damage to our floor due to this ongoing issue. I am waiting on a contractor to address the damage. I do not recommend this company!

At this point we are seeking an attorney. For the amount of money we paid for a lifetime warranty, increased sinus issues with the smell of water and no resolution, is not professional. I pray my fellow Veterans or others aren't experiencing this ongoing issue. As a Veteran who have faithfully paid thousands of dollars too much and trusted this company with renovating our bathroom, is not acceptable. Please think twice before making this decision. Installers have come out but the problem still persists. Below are photos of what we have been dealing with since shower install and are continuing to deal with.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LEAF!!!! This company is predatory to put it lightly. They feed off your pain and extort you with a hope for a solution. My 84 year old mother lives alone with a health aide since my father passed in 20201. They sold her a THIRTY THOUSAND dollar walk in bathtub. 30 grand. Their “cheaper option” was a $19,000 walk in shower with a fold down seat. The craziest part is it was $30,000 AFTER their “discounts” that were only valid that day. They started at 39k. This should be absolutely criminal.

READ the contracts. They WERE LEAF home safety solutions. They closed that. They rely on their BBB of leaf home safety which isn’t active anymore. Have LEAF HOME BATH show you THEIR BBB. They can’t! Read the reviews. They now rebranded to Leaf home bath to deny liability. This company will indeed scam you. They talk a big talk but I promise it’s not worth it. Do yourself and your family a favor and deny them before they get the chance to prey.

In less than a year, I had two Leaf Home Water softeners installed, each failing within months. The first stopped filtering after only 4 months, and the second one after 6 months. Disappointed, I contacted Leaf Home for support. Leaf Home offered no real solution. They pointed to a clause in their contract that eliminates their responsibility if the source water changes. The contract vaguely states "water conditions can and often do change seasonally” and that additional supplies may become necessary in the future. This broad wording allows them to claim my water chemistry shifted and that maintenance is now my problem.

The only way to sustain proper filtration is to replace the carbon media every 4-6 months, at a staggering cost of roughly $500 per replacement. Essentially, if I don't continuously pump money into the softener, I’m left with a $4,500 lawn ornament. Leaf Home Water softeners clearly lack long-term durability, and their warranty seems designed to be unhelpful. Don't waste your money and time – look elsewhere for a reliable water softener solution.

Scam mlm company that markets to unsuspecting seniors for financial extortion. Initially you get about 599 phone calls until you finally let them send a rep over. That should be red flag number 1. Then they send a seemingly nice person trained to deceive seniors for financial gain to give you a fancy presentation with a requirement to sign right that moment. Then you sign a contract for financing with absolutely no written terms for a subpar loan that is outrageously different than the terms verbally given to you which you find out way later after your check is cashed.

Then after agreeing to the outrageous price of a $16,000 plastic shower they send in a contractor who is getting paid $5000 to actually complete the work because that's all you really paid for. Kim ** and Russel ** in Charleston SC are deceptive and not to be trusted. Do not let them in your home. They coerced my mother who has memory problems in to an agreement she can't even comprehend. They are reprehensible and lack integrity or care for their clients. These practices should be illegal for unsuspecting seniors. It's honestly so sad that people make a living off the weakness of others. I'm begging you not to go anywhere near this dishonest company.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Leaf Home Solutions. I initially paid a substantial $3,000 deposit for a bathroom shower remodel, expecting a level of professionalism and communication that would match the size of the investment. Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Despite their eagerness to accept my deposit, Leaf Home Solutions failed miserably in delivering on their promises. After I had taken three days off from work to be present for the bathroom remodel, I was left in the dark. No one bothered to contact me to confirm the appointment, provide any updates, or even notify me if there was a change in plans. I've made six phone calls and sent multiple emails in an attempt to cancel the work order, each time receiving nothing but the runaround. I've been repeatedly told that "someone from operations will contact me," but that promise has yet to be fulfilled. This clear breakdown in communication is utterly unacceptable.

The quickness with which Leaf Home Solutions took my hard-earned money and the total lack of results or follow-through is inexcusable. I am beyond frustrated and angry with the actions (or lack thereof) of this company. It's evident that they prioritize taking customers' money over providing the services they promised. My experience with Leaf Home Solutions has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly advise others to think twice before doing business with them. I'M STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONSE.
