9/05/2025 I had the pleasure of meeting the technician, James. He has been working at Gordon Bros. approximately 8 months. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend James. Gordon Bros is very blessed to have him on the staff.

We have both water softener and reverse osmosis systems. I like that it uses absolutely NO electricity or natural gas. It is its own entity, working by itself. We purchased the extended maintenance plan soooo worth it cause after 3 years no bill for a company man (that installed it) to come out every 6 months. And it also comes with a 10 year warranty. We received 2 filters using 1 at a time (which get really filthy, our water here in Binghamton NY; in my opinion; is harsh/ hard and just nasty and the dirty filter we change out every 4 months proves it) BUT... the filters are completely cleanable. I run them in hot water 1st, then soak it in a sink or bin in hot OXY for a few hours and they come out white as new. I find with the scent of the oxy and soapy-ness of it the filters need to be rinsed out several times til no scent is left.

We called out several companies to assess our water issues. Jay ** addressed our concerns and explained everything in a way that we could understand. We had no idea the process. He took care of us and was able to move up the installation. Now I can drink water again and shower.

I just paid $14,000 to have a system installed in my new home. 3 weeks later, sounds like a jackhammer under my kitchen sink. Called the salesman, he said the problem is these refrigerator companies these days are mad at water treatment companies and it's their fault that I have a jackhammer under my sink. He said I need to get a filter plug for my refrigerator.

We got the water softener system from Kinetico and it's filtering the rural water and taking the chlorine out. At first, we intend to use it for our well water to filter the minerals in it, but we changed our mind and didn't use it for that. The service and installation were good. It's more expensive than the competitors, but it's still a good system. The water softener system works and the water tastes good. I'd recommend it.

I purchased a whole-house water filtration system with Kinetico and have had it for two years. With the system now in, I don't smell chlorine at all and the water tastes better. The upkeep is also very simple. You just change the filter once a year.

I’ve had Kinetico for over a year now and it’s been great. The guy from customer service followed up on how the system is doing. He told me I could go six months to a year before I'd have to have any service done on it, so I’m getting close to getting that.

We listened to a lot of AM talk radio, and there were commercials about Kinetico, and the concept of kinetic energy being used. Other conventional water softeners flush out the water whether you need it or not and waste a lot of salt and water. This concept of Kinetico was genius to us, and we were like, “Wow, this really works,” so we decided to give them a call, and we don’t regret it. I have been with Kinetico Water Systems since 2014

I have a basic water softener from Kinetico which goes all through the home except for the outdoor faucets. The guy who came out to do the presentation was very pleasant. He didn’t push anything, and basically, left it up to me to decide. I was satisfied with him. The installation took two hours to get everything done. The technicians had to reroute some water lines to basically eliminate the outdoor faucets. That was a little time-consuming.

It's been two years with Kinetico. It’s the top-of-the-line water treatment. I like the equipment, it’s good, and better than the old traditional ones.

Kinetico is the best water system. I've had Kinetico in three different homes, and it’s been excellent.

The company I hired to put the system in was always at the home show, the trade show that I would always go to for my company. I talked to the rep there and saw he was knowledgeable about what he does, so he was the first person I thought to call. He sells Kinetico products. I purchased a water softener. It's all through the house. The install took like a half hour, an hour. Not long. It's completely night and day. The thing works great. It's a great product.

I’m 93 and inclined to accept people as honest, to begin with. A teenager was sent here as a Kinetico salesman. His name was Michael and he told me a bunch of lies. The initial salesperson was a kid. He was frivolous and cocky. They sent out a bad salesman.

We have hard water, and the water softener from Kinetico certainly helps for many things. The cost is definitely not for middle class and below, and we are fortunate that we can afford it. They have been legit on following up normal routine and schedule things. There is a level of service that I expect and they follow through on it. No complaints there.

We built our house back in '97, and that's when we got our first system. It was recommended by somebody as I looked into things. And with it not using power, that was another perk. Two years ago, I had trouble with some of the gears inside. It got to the point where with the age of it, it was time to upgrade. I got the same size, just a newer version. It's two tanks and the newer head for the whole house. I had everything plumbed in and ready to go. All they had to do was hook it up and run the drain line. I see no difference in my first Kinetico compared to the second one. Everything still cycles the same. I have recommended it to about three people that have gotten them installed. My son got one a couple of years ago, too. So, I've been pleased with it.

We had hard water and I've known Kinetico for a long time. When I would research, it seemed that that's one of the better systems. There was a local office in Indianapolis, so I purchased that water softener. I purchased one for an old house, and when I bought a new house, I bought one there, too. We did the one that takes the salt, and then we also did the filtration system for my drinking water.

I put the brand-new Kinetico system in the house when I purchased the house. The equipment is working now after the first couple of months that I had a problem. It was with the installation and I had some issues with the equipment. Kinetico took care of it and they sent me some filters as compensation for their mistake.

I like the fact that it doesn't have to have power to run. That's a plus. But the people who come into the home to put the system together should talk to the homeowner about how they want the system set up, like where they want it to go instead of just doing the little diagram picture of the triangle thing. It would have made a hell of a lot more sense if they had moved it down a little bit.

We have hard water in San Antonio. I heard about Kinetico on the radio and I had Culligan before. The water is good now. Kinetico does a good job and they're better than Culligan.

I used them for 3-4 years. But 2years ago I was recommended other customer to them. And they do it very bad job installing. The tank sets outside didn’t burying into dirt. Both bottles are shaking. And the pipe connection broke (glue lose) water leaking lose half day of water (big open) and quote me $140 plus labor & material to fix it. I feel it not installing right on the beginning to cost pipe lose. Also I ask to put slab the install all tanks on it. They quoted me $500 to do it right way. Feel very upset about it. I am not referring any customers to this company any more.

We bought a system 2 years ago because of the hard water here in Southern California. It worked great for a year. Now, nothing. We had it serviced once last year and they told us to install a pressure regulator, which we did. The next time we tried to call for service, no one returned our call. We left a message with corporate and they told us to contact our local reps, so no help there. We just tried to have a service again today and the guy didn't show up when we scheduled him. Customer service is very, very lacking. The way the "general manager" spoke to me on the phone made me feel like this was all my fault. So, yeah, thanks for that. At this point, we are going to return the system and go with someone else. I don't need this stress in my life.

I have had Kinetico Water Systems for a year and a half now. They came over, gave me an estimate. The presentation was fine, and the representative was very professional. They said what they needed to do, and that’s what they did. The installation was wonderful. It’s been no problem. It was expensive, but I had gotten some other estimates and it was within the ballpark.

Overpriced!! I could not get it fixed. Either they didn't know how or just didn't want to be bothered. When filter did backwash at bottom of dial it would rattle the house and at end of cycle would not cut off and flood the drain field. If you do get one Do Not pay cash for it, Rent it because they won't fix it if you buy it.

When we bought our house, it already had a Kinetico system. When that system stopped working, we decided to reach out and get the same one. Kinetico happened to have a great promotion at the time, so we were able to get the reverse osmosis as well. Everything went fine with the installation. The installers did a great job. I wasn’t left with a watery mess or anything like that. They’ve been nice and polite, and they do their work neat and clean. They’re prompt for appointments, and we’ve had no issues with the system.

Kinetico is a simpler system to use. I talked to a couple of people that had Kinetico, and they said it was good, so that’s what I got to replace my old one. The difference is Kinetico uses less salt and doesn't use a timer, so if there’s a power outage, it still works without having to go down and reset the timer. And as far as the water, it's soft. It’s expensive, but it looks nice and performs well. That's what I was expecting, and that's what I got.

We have a horrible water situation out in Gold Canyon. The water is really hard and has a lot of minerals. Without a water softening system, there are big problems with shampoo, dishwasher, and even washing the car, due to the white deposits left on the surfaces. So, we thought we needed a really dependable system to combat that. With Kinetico Water Systems, those issues are now all gone. It's working well for us, and we're happy with it. We already have recommended Kinetico to some people. The customer service was great all the way around.

I have Kinetico since 2023. I was impressed with the water quality after they ran their tests and the reviews. I like how sleek their system was. I live in Arizona and I know how bad our water quality is. Now the quality is definitely better than what it was without Kinetico. We have the whole house water filtration system. We don't have that filmy skin after taking a shower. Our hair doesn't feel greasy after taking showers. We don’t have all the stuff that comes with hard water.

I live in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the water here is probably the hardest in the country. Setting up an appointment with Kinetico was easy. It's the second unit I bought from them. It does the whole home, so all the appliances last longer, the pipes don't get gunked up, and the clothes come out a lot better. It's all around very helpful and I’ve never had a problem with the service. It’s expensive, but it's worth it.

Our water system has been great. I’ve been with Kinetico for at least 19 years at this house and five years with the other one. Their customer service is very good. With their system, I notice the softness and the drinking quality of my water. Overall, they have been good, especially the people that put it in.

This is my second Kinetico system, and it's working great. I wasn't happy with the water softener that I had previously. I really like the metering of the salt media based on usage rather than time. It really saves a lot of salt. There's not as much lime scale that's accumulating around my water fixtures, and it feels soft on the skin when taking a shower. When they sold me this system, I didn't appreciate it when they said they’d give a better price on the water softener if I bought a reverse osmosis system, which I didn’t need.

I’ve been a customer of Kinetico since 2006. With their customer service, if I call them, they're great. The guy who originally put my Kinetico in went out of business. He got old, and there's nobody who would buy the business out. I ended up going to some folks in Kansas to service the Oklahoma area. Kinetico is a good system. There are no lightning storms that take it out of commission, so that's nice because there are no electronics in it. We're very happy with it.

I saw the advertisements for Kinetico. I like the fact that it doesn't have to use electricity, and I need it for my water. It's through the home. The water was much nicer to use, and it tasted better. There wasn't any scale in the tubs, showers, commodes, and things like that. It's a little expensive, but it works perfectly, and I'm very pleased with it.

We’ve had water softeners for years and when that last one basically died down, we decided to put out extra money and go with a Kinetico unit. It’s not the cheapest, but it seems to be a decent unit. Taste-wise, it’s not that far off, but the water tastes fine and the filters last for a couple of years, which is fine. My only complaint, the cost is more extravagant than it needs to be. For a paper filter being hundreds of dollars, it’s a bit of a stretch. But it's a good unit.

I bought this system years ago. All they did was to promote a “better” and more expensive system. I do not need it because of downsizing. Finally found out that it needed to have a replacement only for a part, after lots of research. The replacement was unbelievably expensive with no guarantee it would work again, and every time you gave someone come in and help will be another charge. I’m so done with this company’s strategy! Now when my neighbors asked, I highly asked them not to start with Kinetico!!! From a very upsetting customer!!

We're in Noblesville and we’re on well water. Everything gets stained and it’s gross. Our water's so hard, when we wash windows or cars, it leaves white calcium. We have a lot of iron and sediment in our water and we have to have a filtration system. We had an existing one that went bad. Kinetico did a good job getting it out and hooking up a whole water filtration system. They were in and out very quickly, explained the system well, and even hooked it up to where I can turn it on and off to be able to use it on my water line if I wanna wash my window or for the outside if I want to.

I had a whole-house filter system installed by Kinetico. It includes a water softener, reverse osmosis, sterilization, calcite, and backwash. I pretty much got everything. Since having the system installed, the water is better and not hard anymore. I have it checked quarterly for upkeep. All the filters get changed out and salt gets added as needed.

We had rusty water, so I looked up Kinetico and set up an appointment for them to come. The gentleman who came out was very thorough and really good. I liked him. It’s been about two years now.

I live down on the coast, so we have hard water. It was ruining my clothes and everything. I got the salt filter system from Kinetico, and the day we used the water softener, we could see the difference. They come out monthly and check the salt and other water components. The system registers how many gallons have been consumed. Once I used that many gallons, they sent me a text telling me it was time to change filters. They are great, and I have always complimented them.

Bought a water purification system in 2020 and wanted to get filter replacement today. Contractor stated I needed a new membrane, filter and etc for $750! He said I can give you a discount for a new system for $1,000. What. A. Scam! Overpriced and overrated! Horrible customer service! They don't try and reach out and let you know when to replace either so easy to see their angle in all this. Unethical at the very least.

We prepaid for salt delivery and filter changes, but the company accepted our payment and never fulfilled the service, dating back to last year. Despite multiple opportunities to correct the issue, there has been no follow-up or delivery. This experience reflects a serious lack of integrity and professionalism. We are extremely dissatisfied and cannot recommend this company based on our experience.

I ran into a salesperson while skiing, and he provided me with some information about Kinetico. He seemed very trustworthy and very knowledgeable. Customer service was very communicative throughout the entire process and they sent me over a lot of information to read through and understand what I was getting into. I live in a condo and I got a drinking water system, and I like its quality.

I'm very pleased with Kinetico. We got it because we wanted to make sure our water didn't have unnecessary medications in them and with our reverse osmosis, we can definitely tell it’s all positive with our skin hair and our food.

I just happened to call him up and told him what I was looking for, and he took care of me. That was my old house. And then I just built a new house, and he put one in my new house.

Our Kinetico system is working fine, and the water is good. The installation was great, but after that, we received no service. We've tried to get the maintenance plan, so they would come out monthly or quarterly to take care of it. We've tried to sign up three different times, but it's just not taking for some reason, so we have to take care of all the maintenance and adding the salt.

We started doing a little bit of research and Kinetico sounded like it would be one of the leaders, and that was good by us. We weren't going to compromise on that. We know that we have hard water and a lot of calcium where we live and my wife was really interested in it. The salesperson was very thorough and did a wonderful job. We knew what we were getting into. We've got the water softener system, and then we've got an add-on for our drinking water, a separate cylinder in the wall space. Installation was very smooth. We both immediately saw the difference with how the water felt, so we were pleased with that. Fortunately, we felt like we could afford it and went ahead and proceeded with it. It’s not cheap. Cathy was also very particular about her drinking water and that's why we got the other system. We pay a fee for the salt to be reloaded or optimized. I'm just not clear on what to expect longevity-wise with what we have. I don't know at what point that the hardware would become obsolete.

We moved into this house in '22 and we have regular city water. We decided to go with Kinetico instead of another company because of the easy set up. The water tastes better. My parents always had water softeners but they used another company and it was more trouble. We liked this one because it wasn't bulky, it fit well in our garage and wasn't old-fashioned. We’re over 65 and they have somebody come out if we need it and check up on us.

I spent a lot of money, and they were offering discounted reverse osmosis filters for new customers shortly after I got mine. They wouldn't let me get included in that deal though, so I never got a reverse osmosis filter through them.

Kinetico is the best in class and that they are well worth the money. And when it comes to your home and your health, you need to go for what's the best product available, and it's Kinetico. My prior system stopped working and I was looking for a replacement. I chose Kinetico because of their reputation, and I looked at their website, and they are top-of-the-line. And since I was going to make that kind of an investment, I believe in buying the best you can get. I had the water softener system and the reverse osmosis from them.

When we moved to Peoria from Michigan, the water was a concern. We looked around and they said everybody has a water softener. I was looking for a water softener, water purifier as well as an RO system with minerals backfilling which is why I went with Kinetico.

Whatever you do is do not buy this Kinetico. I was having problems at 8 months and they wanted to charge me a service charge to come out to fix it under warranty. Have had nothing but problems with it as a contractor. I installed three systems and houses that I built and wound up replacing them with other products to satisfy my homeowners. Way overpriced and way overrated. The staff Leesburg Florida are the biggest scammers you can find. I will be happy to refer you to many other companies.

If you want to improve the quality of your life in general, you need to get Kinetico. You don’t have to do maintenance on your faucets and things like that because you don't have that build-up. So, it's an investment in your time as well. Kinetico has made a huge improvement in the quality of my water. The big selling point for me was I could be able to bring it with me if I moved, and I did. I've never had anything like it before and it’s been all right. The water is not nearly as hard, it tastes better, and I don't have the calcification going on that used to happen, and it’s a wonderful improvement. The Kinetico team has been good. I don't have to see them very often, which is a good thing, and I haven't had problems where service issues have been terrible.

He came down and installed my water softener and my RO system. We have to rebuild the water softener once every 20 years and I'm still using the same RO system.

I didn't really notice any difference in the softening of the water. But the drinking water filter worked out. The reverse osmosis worked well. It was good however Kinetico is really expensive. I purchased a water softener from Kinetico after moving to a new home with a well, which was a first for us. After doing some research and having our water tested, we decided to go with Kinetico.

I've been using Kinetico Water Systems for over a year, and while I've had generally positive experiences, there have been a few issues. The installation went well overall, but I experienced a leak shortly after it was set up, and the refrigerator connection had to be disconnected because no one came to resolve the issue. When I reached out, they claimed it wasn't Kinetico's problem, so now my fridge isn't connected to water.

However, I think it would be beneficial if Kinetico could reach out to customers after a year for a check-up, especially concerning the filters and their longevity. Another area for improvement would be getting someone out sooner to replace filters.

The staff at their Garner office were very helpful and consumer-friendly. I had their reverse osmosis system installed under my sink, and it has improved the taste of my water. As a frequent water drinker, I can definitely say there is a noticeable difference. Overall, I’m satisfied with their service and give them a thumbs up.

I decided to purchase a Kinetico Water System for my home because it was recommended by my plumber. Living on a well means dealing with hard water, and the system seemed like a good solution. The installation process was impressively quick, thanks to the efficient team that handled it. I learned about Kinetico Water System through a condo we purchased that had a Kinetico water softener which performed very well. We decided to go with a large commercial system.

Everyone from Kinetico Water Systems who has been over has been very knowledgeable. The guy that came over to talk to us was very knowledgeable. He answered all questions. My husband checks the salt, would see how much has been used, and add. We change the filters every six months to a year.

We have water hardness and since installing the Kinetico system, we saw a difference in the water immediately. We have annual maintenance on the system and it's relatively easy to do. It's an excellent system, and I would strongly recommend it.

From the start, the installation was poorly done, and it was clear that the system recommended to us was not the right fit for our home’s needs. Despite raising concerns, customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. We also paid for maintenance visits that never happened. Every time we reached out, we were either given the runaround or ignored entirely. The lack of professionalism and accountability has been incredibly frustrating. For the price we paid, we expected much better service and reliability. I would not recommend Kinetico to anyone looking for a hassle-free and properly supported water system. Look elsewhere if you want a company that stands by its products and values its customers.

My experience with Kinetico has been excellent. I had the Kinetico system from the previous owner. It was still working after 30 years, but I upgraded my system. But I never rebuilt the softener. I am very satisfied and happy with it.

There's a Kinetico store next to a hunting shop where I get gun parts at, and I happened to see it. I walked in and asked them about their systems. I liked what they had to say and had them put a whole house system in. Before I got it, I had a little rust in the washbasins, and that's totally gone now. I've had the system about a year and a half and the upkeep is simple.

My builder suggested having a Kinetico system and while it has a high price, I don't have to worry about things. The system is performing fine and in the long run, it will save our appliances.

In my prior house, we bought a system because we were on a well and I felt that I wanted to make sure I had clean water systems. It was a cheaper brand and I was always having problems with it. I switched and after a little bit of studying, I went with Kinetico. I moved houses and put the Kinetico system in my new one and everything seemed to go okay. This is much more easier to maintain than my previous system. One issue, and I really can't blame it on Kinetico, is it tends to freeze when it gets really cold outside. But it hasn't really plagued me so much that I really dug into it. It's fine after the temperature changes a little bit.

Our Kinetico works great. I love it. I'm on a well. I'm out in the country, and I have very sulfuric water coming out of the well. Kinetico only cycles based on water usage. So, it doesn't cycle every night. It cycles when there's enough water used that it needs to cycle. It's not a plug-in unit. It knows how much water is being used. Then that's when they recycle and regenerate the medium. The system was installed five years ago, and I have not had to do anything except to replace this one bag filter every four months. They also put in a carbon filter at the same time. It was another brand, but it's worked fine. It needs no maintenance. As far as the water quality, it's fine. I drink it out of the tap. My wife and 21-year-old son use a little pitcher filter thing for their water bottles.

We have a spring and it's hard water. We wanted it to be softer and pure for the kids to drink. We went with Kinetico and now, our water is good. We have a reverse osmosis system and we use it a lot. One thing I really appreciated was they physically tested the water coming out of the reverse osmosis to make sure that it was okay. It was a lot of peace of mind to see them test it and show it to me saying it's safe and clear. We had quarterly service with them but we did not continue it, not because we were unhappy but it wasn't worth it.

Water is hard here and I figured a water treatment system would make everything last longer. I was referred to a Kinetico salesman, and it was an easy experience. With Kinetico, the water is different. It still leaves water marks on the stainless parts, but the water feels great when you're taking a shower. My hair feels better. Everybody should have Kinetico. I had gotten the water cleaner system on my own and installed it, and I wish I had done it all at once. I would recommend that others do the water softener and the water cleaner at once.

I like the simplicity of the Kinetico system. The water quality is good, too. The system is just a little bit expensive, though.

The reps at Kinetico were professional. They did it quickly and installed it right away. My husband was very happy with their work and their installation. It was amazing. Using the water softener is like bathing in lotion. I'll never go back to unsoftened water. My hair is amazing. Your skin is not peeling off from dry patches. We love it.

We have hard water here in our house and we wanted a water softener. Kinetico seemed the most reputable from just looking around, researching and seeing whose systems that were out there. Their reps were very pleasant, seemed professional, and walked me through what they were seeing and where the recommendations were coming from. The water is definitely softer now. But we have noticed the water is a little salty afterward. But they told us about it. If you're doing a lot of planting, you need to keep that in mind, cause our plants don't like it. The product that they sold us to get rid of the salt, is only for one faucet. It's not like it removes the salt everywhere for other sinks.

Worst company ever to deal with. Kinetico's service is horrible, especially the owner, Edward, down in Sherman Oaks. After having issues with my water softener system along with the reverse osmosis system, they are not covering it under warranty and want to sell me both new systems. Never, ever trust Kinetico.

Our first Kinetico lasted almost 30 years before needing a replacement. The new one seems to be better made, more efficient, so hopefully we get another 30 years of soft water. Overall, you feel the soft water on your body and you can use less detergent in the laundry machine.

The Kinetico water system has been a big plus for our household in St James/Southport. My skin is very sensitive & with this system it has fewer rashes. The RO system is wonderful as the water tastes great. Angie, our service tech, explained the system to us & was very kind to our dog as well!

Kinetico continues to impress me. I've had their system for about six years, and it works like a charm. Today was my annual maintenance check, and Wisdom was my tech guy. He was awesome! We have Kinetico in Minnesota so when I was building a new home in Florida, I decided I wanted to get a good water softener purifying system for it as well, so I called Kinetico and had them come in and do the works. I've trusted Kinetico to tell us what was the best system for what we needed down here based on the city water that's provided to us in the community that I'm in, and so they sized it and engineered it and it was pretty much designed, build, and I bid for it. I would love to have Kinetico on a maintenance schedule that just comes in on an annualized basis. It does its flushing, backflowing, testing tweaking, updating, and making sure that the system is optimized every season. That would be the best for us.

The Kinetico rep tested our water and then told us what hardness we had, which we already knew. We bought a reconditioned softener. We bought a RO system also. The water's softer now. You can tell that when you take a shower. You get suds and also, when you make tea, the tea stays clear for two weeks if you want to go through the RO. My wife's hair also is softer and seems to be better when she puts it up. I would recommend Kinetico. We bought our first system in Indiana and we bought a house in Florida and we put another one in there.

The sales rep was awesome, and the install guy did a great job. Once everything flushed out, I saw a difference with the cold water instantly. It took a little longer for the hot water 'cause of the tank. I would recommend Kinetico. If someone's looking for a water softener, I'd say, “Buy from them.” The price was very competitive.

I own three Kineticos. I have three homes and I have a Kinetico in all of them. I had a different brand before and I know Kinetico has a really good reputation. I purchased one and I liked it, so I purchased a second one for a second home and I purchased a third one for a third home and they work wonderfully. I got a whole filtration system softener and RO.

Kinetico installed my underwater cylinders under my kitchen sink. When the cylinders stop filtering, they will indicate they need replacement. At that time, I will call them to come. When we were living in a different location, we had a bigger house. We had Kinetico Water System for years and that's why when I needed this, we went back to them. The previous filter that was in there was something that Kinetico had provided on a retail basis. We bought it through Home Depot, but when we went back to get new cartridges, Kinetico discontinued the product. We went to Kinetico and bought a system through them, and then they installed it.

The installation was good for our Kinetico water softener system. We had another system and this system seems to work better.

Four years ago, we needed to replace a lot of our system. The guy that came and serviced it every year recommended Kinetico, and we did a reverse osmosis and a water softener system with them. The installation was excellent. We've been real happy with the system we had prior to this and we knew what to expect, and it seemed like we went from one system to another very smoothly. We only had Kinetico for about six months and then we sold the house. But we liked what we had with it. It worked great. The reverse osmosis thing on the sink was fantastic. The water in San Antonio was some of the hardest water I've ever seen in my entire life. That's why we got the water softener and it made a huge difference. The water felt a lot nicer on the skin. The water from the city was chlorinated, so the chlorine smell was gone. My wife said her hair felt better.

I've been with Kinetico for such a long time. I have the whole water purification system. We lived in a place that had well water. It was hard water, and also turned out it had methane in it. We had to treat all that mess. The installation went well and it worked. When they put it in, they did a good job. This is the second house where we've used them. And in both places, they did well. The water's cleaner and tastes better. And where we live now, we're not on well water anymore, but we have city water and it gets the chlorine out. Kinetico is a great company. The first two companies we tried never found the problem when we had the well and the methane. Kinetico was the company that found it.

Kinetico unit installed on 07/08/2024 in new home. Moved in 07/13/2024, living in garage while working on home, softener turned on between 07/17/2024 to 07/20/2024. Wrote question on water usage/regeneration 8/7/2024 timeline: 7/8/24 Unit installed not turned on to use at that time. 7/13/24 we moved into the garage and only water we had access to was the hose on the water pump, water softener still off. 7/17 to 7/20 Denny gets an outside faucet not sure what date he hooked it up at that time he starts the water softener so that we can have a shower using the faucet outside. 7/20 to 7/26 only outside hose and toilet using the softener. Shower hooked up on the 26th. 7/20 to 7/29 the softener regenerated at least 2 times that we saw.

I heard of Kinetico Water Systems and I knew their water systems are good. They came and installed it. We're able to do monthly payment. So, the price wasn't crazy. We got a decent water softener for not much money. I like it and I would recommend it. There were as a couple of packages we could get, and we got the mid-tier one. We have the reverse osmosis and a salt tank. We have a couple of water filters on there. I don't have to do much to it. It's easy. It looks good and my water is awesome. When my other water heater was busted, we had some hard water for a while. I could feel it on my hair. I could see it on my dishes. But now, I don't experience that.

The installation went well. My husband had corresponded with Kinetico ahead of time on what we needed and what we were getting, and everything worked out as planned. We had a really hard water because we have a well, and it had an orange color. The Kinetico softener and filtration systems help. We don't have the color anymore. It still has the taste but other than that, we've not had any problems with it and we've had it for a few years now.

We have very hard water but since getting Kinetico, our water has been a lot softer. I don't have to clean my showers and toilets as much, plus my skin and hair feel a lot better. The soap went a lot further, too because we don't have to use as much. The system requires nothing really for its upkeep, you just got to make sure you put salt in it. It's right next to our furnace and when we change the furnace filter, we check that too. We try to check our furnace filter every couple of months.

We're on an HOA well system so, I purchased the Kinetico water softener. I then had to do a replacement here and so far, my experience with them has been very positive. The installer was one young man and he did an outstanding job. He finished it in half a day.

We were looking for a water softener and when we came across Kinetico's system, we liked it. So we contacted them and had them come out. The installers were very professional and courteous. We've had the system for three years now and I like that I don't have to change a bunch of filters on it. I got really hard water and I like the salt monitor on the bin so that I don't have to keep going down there in the dungeon and looking at it to check on it or set an alarm. It keeps track of itself. But when I was getting my install, I talked to the installer about salt sales and he was going to get back with me because I was going to buy a pallet load of salt and just have it. I've got a place to store it and it's one more thing that I don't have to fret about. But I haven't heard anything from them since the date of install for possibly coming and doing the annual service or anything about any salt.

Kinetico started in Minnesota and that's where I'm originally from. So I'm a bit biased to wards them and I like their products. I have the Kinetico water softener and recently, I purchased their water filtration system. I did it through a local company here in town and they did a nice job. The installation was really quick. Their products are well-made and designed to hold up better than other ones. Both my water softener and the water filtration system don't require any electricity and I like that whole idea too.

I've known about Kinetico for years because friends of ours have Kinetico water softeners and we considered putting one in in our house in Jackson. We put in one in 2008 and most recently purchased two years ago. It's a small model, but it fits in the space that we had for our cottage. The taste and feel of the water have changed. We had hard water before we had one installed. We also just change filters for maintenance and it's not too bad. It just takes some time. I like the system a lot. It's well thought out and it doesn't use any electricity, which I like. Also, it does what it says it's supposed to do and we don't use a lot of softener.

I purchased the under-the-sink RO water filtration system. Since then, I can definitely tell it's RO water because I'm not getting that chemical taste that I get with the treated water from the cities and the counties. Everything's been very positive in my experience with Kinetico. They're responsive when we need our filters changed. They're very quick to respond and get the filters changed for us. The gentleman who installed the system appeared to be very competent and did a good job. Also, everything's always more expensive than you want it to be. But compared to their competitors, their price is right in line with everybody else.

The one I have is almost 30 years old. The other one, we just put in a year ago. They work well for us. I like that they don't have to be plugged in to run.

When they came out and did the water testing, it was very informative. I got the full Kinetico system, and the installation went well. So far, the system is working. It's keeping my water soft and clean. I use it every day and it hasn't failed me. The cost is gonna be a little bit high but if it works the way it's supposed to and I get the benefits that it provides, then it's fair.

When I bought my new house back in '22, I decided to go with Kinetico. I had hard water and when I washed the dishes, I got stains all over the dishes. I got their water softener and I can tell that the water is softer. The only thing I do is make sure I keep an eye on the salt level.

We purchased the non-electric water softener that the pressure of the water is not from electricity and yet you add your salt pellets. I open up the lid and check to see what the level’s at intermittently. If it needs salt, then I pour it in. Since installation, our water is much softer than you normally have in Tucson. I've had it before and then there was a period that I didn't have it, and it's nice to have it again. I'd tell others it's worth a try.

I got the under sink drinking water system from Kinetico. It's been fine. Installation was easy. It was just a couple of water lines and turn a valve and it's on. Once a year, they'll come out and change a filter on it. Overall, it's a good product, but it's not all encompassing.

Kinetico Water Systems' rep was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Answered all the questions I had. Did a couple of demonstrations to show the difference in water treatments and filters. We notice more when we don't do what we're supposed to. Whatever we have to put in to keep it, maintaining the correct filtration, it would start to get a rusty smell. We got a special iron filter, which the previous owners did not have, and that is a huge difference because when my husband would change the filter, it was all chopped up with iron. That was just a normal water filtration. But now that we have the iron filter as well, we don't have that. The system does what it's supposed to do. I'm happy with the low amount of maintenance that has to be done for it to be kept up. Get it.

The installers were very nice. We got a system for our whole house and our drinking water. I definitely didn't get Kinetico for the price, but the sales lady, Pam, did a good job, and the fact that it's a more mechanic system. It doesn't have to run off electricity. The system improved our water quality and the taste. We live near the coast and we've had some really hard water. With the system, our water is a lot softer. It feels like I've got lotion on when I come off out of the shower. It's not as hard to clean my glass shower doors as well. I would give Kinetico a high 5. The team there was amazing, and Pam has been very good. They've been out and changed my filters and been good.

Kinetico Water Systems offered me something at a previous house when I lived up there closer to them. Their customer service is on point. The K5 system is good. There was an immediate change in our water's hardness and odor.

We got a Kinetico whole house system, and setting it up was very easy. Having the system, the water is very soft. We're very happy with it. I'd tell others to do it with Kinetico.

Kinetico is the best as far as the quality of the systems. The water itself is better than any water you can purchase out of the store. The outbound water is as pure as it can get. I have the K5 system, which I think is the top of the line. Installation is easy on it. If a homeowner has any mechanical aptitude and they could put in a kitchen sink, they could install a Kinetico K5 system. Kinetico is a bit overpriced compared to some of the other people on the market, but you get what you pay for.

Kinetico has been great. I love the system. I had one of their systems in an old house that I had 20 years ago. This time around, I got a softener. We had hard water, and now, it’s much softer. The chemicals are balanced out. There's no taste at all now, which is great.

Spend $5500 for the system for them to charge over $200 anytime something goes wrong. I would not purchase again if I could go back in time. Try another water softener company and save some money and peace of mind.

Had the pleasure of working with Mat ** in installing a water system in my Cafe. The installation was seamless and 2 years later still have no issues. Recently, I spoke with Mat and asked about getting a filter replacement and he immediately knew what was needed and even offered to replace it if I couldn’t figure it out. Highly recommend to anyone in the market for a water system!

I would highly recommend Kinetico Water Systems because with other systems, you would get the single tank and issues when trying to recharge it. You would not have those issues with Kinetico because their system is designed on a two-tank system and it functions well. I was looking for something different than what we had, and Kinetico's product seemed to fit the bill. The installation took a little longer than what I thought, but that's the way it goes. Our water had not been softening properly, so it became obvious that we had a system that worked again.

Here in Arizona, we have very hard water, and I was interested in getting some soft water so we didn't have some of the problems that we would otherwise have. I bought the Kinetico system in 1986. It was a twin-tank system for a little over $2,000. The system makes the water soft. We don't have problems with the water heater, the dishwasher or other things being ruined with hard water deposits.

I needed to upgrade my current system and I needed a new reverse osmosis system. The sales rep, Pat, was really nice, and I purchased an iron filter, a water softener and a reverse osmosis system. Installation was good as well. This kid named Philip came out and did it when I was there. He was also really nice and he did a nice job. I like that the system I have doesn't have a computer system attached to it. It's all mechanical. I'm using less salt compared to my old one and the water is softer and not leaving the orange iron ring because we're on a well. If people ask, I'd definitely recommend at least checking Kinetico out.

Kinetico took a sample of water from the kitchen and put it in a little vial with the little drops to see how many drops they needed to do in order to get it to soft water. My water wasn't as hard as my parents’ that live in West Jordan, surprisingly, but it was still hard, which I expected living in Magna. I purchased the Kinetico water softener with the addition of the removal of chlorine. I also purchased a leak detection system and reverse osmosis system.

When we bought our house, Kinetico had a water softener in here already, so we just replaced a much older one with a newer one. Our water softener is great. There's no motor at all with it, and we've been really good at doing the upkeep. It's just a routine of when to add salt and when to do the cleaning. It's easy to maintain, and it's worth what we paid for it. We have well water, and with the system, our water is much softer when we are bathing or washing our hair. Our water tastes fine and it also has no smell to it at all. The system works well for us.

I was fine with the installation, but I have one complaint with the system. The water smells and it forms black rings in the toilet and in the sink. I have to use a toothbrush to open up the screen for the water to flow through. Kinetico explained that because there are less chemicals in it, it can't take care of itself, and I'm not happy with that answer.

Advanced Water Systems down in Richmond came in and assessed my water. I had some concerns about it. They recognized those concerns without me telling them what they were and they came up with a great system that's in my house. I've not had a single bit of trouble with my Kinetico system. They come in every few months and service everything. They have great equipment and they have excellent customer service as well as technical service. I'm very pleased with my system.

I love Kinetico. We have the water softener system and the water was softer right away after the system was installed. This is our second unit and it's a little smaller than our other unit, but it's good. The price is a little high though and we didn't realize that we could have taken the first unit with us. That's one thing that I was very disappointed in. When our first one was installed, nobody ever said we could take it with us. But we probably got another two moves so now that we know, that's great. It would save us money on the other end.

I was moving into a house with a well and my appointment with the Kinetico reps was quick. I rushed them through it because I had gotten a couple of different quotes and was also getting a quote from them and I was in the middle of doing a lot of things. They adjusted to what I was looking for, which was nice. They didn't force me through some long sales process that I wasn't interested in. I knew what I needed and they were able to accommodate me. That was appreciated. Installation went smoothly as well.

I had a water softener and it went out. I needed a new one and I bought a Kinetico because of the local guy advertising it. Their reps did a good job and were pretty timely.

I got the Premier XP water softener from Kinetico. Being in San Antonio, the water was so hard. The first time we lived in San Antonio, we purchased a Kinetico and we were happy with that experience. We subsequently purchased it for other houses or locations we moved to in the last 20 years. We like the ease of use as far as it’s not run off of timers. It doesn't need to be plugged into electricity. It's all mechanical. Also, we like the brand reputation.

I got a soft water system and a RO system from Kinetico. I went with them for the soft water system. And the RO system had been in my house for a while, so I was looking at replacing it, and they offered it as well. I would not necessarily recommend a Kinetico RO system only because their filters are really expensive and you only get 500 gallons out of a filter. So, for that reason, I probably would not recommend the RO system to anybody else because I don't think it's any better than anyone else's RO system. They have a filter that's designed to stop water flow, so you don't have a choice but to replace it.

Kinetico is doing a good job. My son put one in and he's at a different house. When my system blew up, I needed one put in as well and the installer did a wonderful job.

I was looking at different water systems and know a lot of companies come and go from that type of service. My buddy said that he looked Kinetico up and that they've been in service for a really long time. That was what made me consider them. The salesperson was straightforward and showed me the ins and outs of the system, like what it does, how long it lasts for, and what their warranty is on the system. They also explained that it was a water-only system. There was no need for electrical.

We're on a water well, and when our house was being built, they recommended a softener. We saw Kinetico at the Home and Garden Expo that was in San Antonio. They gave us their card and their spiel, and we were very pleased with what we heard. They came out here and explained everything to us. They were very nice and thorough. We got their water softener, water filter and purifier and before we knew it, they installed it and we've been very happy with the product. We referred two families to get Kinetico, and at that time, Kinetico said if we got somebody else to take on the product, that we would be given $100. Both of the families told Kinetico that we referred them, but we only got payment for one of the families.

It was a good experience with Kinetico. The installation went smoothly. The default softener line was not done in my home so they had couple of other people to dig their own to give additional softener line. I had called Kinetico once to check the hot water again. They came in promptly, tested it, and changed the settings.

I did a lot of research then I had the Kinetico guy come out and talk to us. Their product seemed like the best option in terms of quality. Setting up the appointments were easy and things went smoothly. The installer we had was great. He walked me through everything and installed the product like a breeze. We got the water processing system with the four cylinder-looking things on it. We had hard water prior to getting this system and now, it's softer. The system was pricey but you get what you pay for and I'm glad we put the investment in.

When we bought the house, the water smelled super chlorinated. My uncle owns a plumbing company down in Florida, and he told me to use Kinetico out of anybody. We set up an appointment and the lady was super prompt and responsive. She was very fast to tell us what we needed and the pricing. She also gave extra options that we didn't need so we didn't do any of that stuff. We got the whole house filtration system and water softener. It was four something grand, but I got two kids, so consuming the water for them is more important than pricing for me. The installer did everything up to code and that's what's important to me. I had one tiny leak, and they were out there the next day to put a new gasket in it.

I did a little bit of research into Kinetico when it became necessary to switch from the system that I had in the house originally. My parents used to have a Kinetico when we lived out in the country, and I never remember hearing any complaints about it. It doesn't use electricity to function was another plus and the cost to benefit relative to other machines that I could have purchased seemed like the better option overall. The rep didn't convince me to put it in but when I told him that I was leaning in that direction, he insisted that that was probably the better machine to go with. The installer was clean, polite and quick. I have a refrigerator water dispenser and I opted not to have that hooked up even though it was offered. So, I was offered a lot more than what I took of his services.

I got the water softener, and my overall experience with Kinetico was good. There was a demo and I saw some changes. We're used to it now, unless there is no water softener because we have a water purifier at home as well, but that is not through Kinetico. The only thing is the filter on the water softener needs to be changed. One time, I tried to take out the filter and the water kept flowing. They came and replaced that because there was something faulty. Now, I have to check again whether or not I can clean the filter. It's probably a little dirty. I will see if I have any questions, then go to customer service.

We purchased Kinetico's largest system. The installation was done in a couple of hours. The water quality has been much better since the system was installed.

I got the whole house water filtration system from Kinetico. We built a new house back in end of 2022. The area that we built in, the water out there was really rough and heavy laden with things that we didn't want to have to deal with. That was why we chose to get that filtration system. Everything between the installation, the evaluation, and the follow-up of annual maintenance, it's all been very smooth.

It was very pleasant with the sales rep and the installation was efficient and timely. It's been close to two years since we've had the Kinetico system and so far, it's been holding up to its filtering of the water and the ease of changing the filters. They stop running when the filters need to be changed so we don't have to monitor a light or anything of where the system is set up. The cost is high but we have the peace of mind of knowing that no matter what the amount of rain or runoff or what other people are doing around, the filter is catching all of that. Kinetico also told us about a stick that we can use to monitor the particles within the system. We did it to see if it truly is doing what they said it was doing, and so far, it has kept the particles well below the range that needs to be. If I were to purchase another home, I would have Kinetico installed or take it with me.

My friend recommended Kinetico. After seeing the experience with them, we felt good, so I went with his recommendation. I got a water softener because the water in my area is hard, and it all went smooth, quick and as scheduled. I got my water treatment system installed, and the installers explained everything, including what needs to be done and when.

We used Kinetico at one of the houses that we were building a couple of years back and they did a good job, so we ended up using it on our personal home. We're used to having a water filtration system in the house, just not through the sink. We had a separate water machine. The installers showed up and did what they were supposed to do, which took an hour. It's been a little over a year since, and so far, our experience has been good. I would recommend Kinetico.

We got a water softener from Kinetico. Setting up the appointment was not a problem but I wasn't happy with the installation team. They cut my main electricity line to my well, and I had to pay for an electrician to come fix it.

I got the reverse osmosis for the drinking water and the soft water and it took a couple of hours to be installed. We saw a difference right away such as the softness in the water when we take a shower and there is no corrosion in our faucets. The system is expensive but we're satisfied with Kinetico.

I've had Kinetico for 30 years. They were around locally and I heard good things about them. We have iron in our water, and I got the water filter system. Kinetico's rep was very good. Everything was great with their installation team.

A young man came and was very pleasant. He had little test tubes that showed us what the water did. He answered our questions and was truthful from the things that we researched and what we already knew about how systems work. He was very straightforward and wasn't pushy. He spent an hour and a half with us and under normal circumstances, I would have felt that would have been much too long. But he did all of the chemical experiments at the kitchen sink. What impressed us most about him versus RainSoft was he went down to see where the water came into the house to make sure that there was enough room for tanks. He also told us, "I know nothing about the water heater, but you need to be aware that if there's something about your water heater that isn't working properly, it will affect the system." He also told us that occasionally, a water heater has to be replaced. Sure enough, we had to replace it and it was justifiable.

I'm happy with our Kinetico water softener. It seems to do a good job. It doesn't use any electricity. We had an old Culligan system and it was time to make a change. Our neighbor had the same type of filter through Kinetico and they were happy with it. So, we contacted the company. Their reps were professional and I was very impressed with everything. It just seems like when you have a question after everything's hooked up, nobody knows the answers to them. They're not very accommodating. Our local Kinetico person could do a better job as far as customer relations are concerned, but I love the product. Installation went great. The guy knew what he was doing. Since the installation, the water is much better. It tastes good. We have terrible water out here. I change the filter every three months, and it's full of muddy water. So, it's doing the job like I expect it to.

We found out that the water in Cape Coral is not so great and can contain pathogens. It also contains lots of calcium and all kinds of other stuff. It's not very healthy to drink, and it doesn't taste good either. We got a whole house water filter and an under-the-kitchen sink water filter from Kinetico. We liked that it doesn't require electricity to run. They just go off the water pressure, which is a huge win. That was one of the biggest reasons we selected them. A lot of other filtration systems require electricity, so if someone's power is out, they don't have fresh, clean water.

I had a water softener that was no longer working properly, so I wanted to replace it. I read about Kinetico online and it seemed like it was what we wanted. Kinetico tested my water and told me that our water softener wasn't working as we already knew and told us the levels that it needed to be. We opted to have the water softener with the reverse osmosis, and it's performing well. The Kinetico rep thought that it would use less soap, but I don't necessarily see that. Other than that, our water tastes better with the reverse osmosis. For the upkeep, I just have to empty the salt in the system every so often. I'll tell people that they need a water softener and it will help the water.

Where I live, the tap water is on a community farming well and it's got high nitrate. We got the reverse osmosis system and setting up the appointment for the installation was easy. Now, our water tastes great.

My well water had iron in it. I got an iron system for it. It has been working out good. It's much better water. My brother lives up from me and he had the same issue. Kinetico is who he went through. He had pretty good results with it, so I went with it too.

I had a new Kinetico Water Softener installed today and Mike ** was absolutely wonderful. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and expertly installed the new system. We had a system at our old house and we had recently moved. So, we were getting things ready to move in to the new house and that was one of the items. It took about a year to make it all right so the experience with the installation team was not very good. They spent a lot of time and many trips out there. Finally, it took the owner to come and look at it and find out it was installed backwards. So, it never worked or had not been working for a year. But Kinetico made it right and since then, everything has been fine and working.

We bought a Kinetico system that they put in our crawlspace when we lived in Lehi. About a year and a half later, we sold that home and we moved to American Fork, and there's already a Kinetico here. So, I called them and asked them if they would come and check it to see if everything's okay. They told us that the backwash needed to be replaced and that I was only two months away from the warranty for our new home in American Fork. They came out and fixed the whole thing. So, I've been really happy with them. I was very pleased with the service people that came out. They were very courteous and helpful.

I've got Kinetico both in our facility at work and my home. At work, we are in an industry where we have to have a large water holding tank to do testing with on a product that we manufacture. And at a previous company, we were having problems with that water turning sour on us. About 15 years ago, I saw an advertisement about ozone treatment and Kinetico was selling the ozone generators. I called them. We bought some ozone generators from them, put those on our test pits and solved our problem.

We lived in a house out in the country that had terribly rusty water. In that house, we bought the Kinetico water softener system and had good luck with that. A few years later, we moved to a different rural home with well water. We took the water softener system with us, and we added the reverse osmosis drinking water system to that. Ever since then, we've been huge believers in the RO drinking water and in Kinetico. In 30 plus years, we've never had any significant issues. They've been trouble-free. It's just a little bit of normal maintenance. My wife is huge into the drinking water thing. She's convinced that a lot of our health problems individually and as a country are based in poor quality drinking water.

I had iron in my water and Kinetico had an electric free device, which was the selling factor. I now have their O2 system and the one that removes iron from the water, which has two tanks. I have the reverse osmosis as well. My experience with Kinetico has been positive but the toilet water has a little bit of a ring in the toilet bowl.

I purchased the Kinetico full house water system and the RO. I feel good about the overall quality of the system but the price is expensive.

Our water is terrible. The original place that was there was my grandparents and they had a water softener. If we don't use the water softener, there's so much calcium in the water, the clear drinking glasses will be milky and a lot of rust too. We got the whole setup, softener and filter from Kinetico. The rep did an excellent job. He came in on a Saturday because one tank was ready to explode, he said. It was an older system.

We've had Kinetico for 40 years. We had an old system and replaced it with a new system. The water is fantastic.

I like the product. It uses different technology than some of the more common ones. Even though it's more expensive. But I have someone at work who had the product and he recommended it as well. Kinetico Water Systems tested multiple water faucets. They were very knowledgeable. Also, the installer was a good guy. He was also knowledgeable. It took him four hours to do the whole work on the water softener and a couple of hours for the drinking water filter. He was fast.

We have Kinetico's whole house filter and some reverse osmosis for the drinking water. Then it has the salt part of it. It doesn't use electricity, which appealed to me because we live in the country and in the past we've had power issues. So, I liked the idea that I didn't have to worry about all that. Kinetico also has that thing that you can have on your phone and do the monitoring, but I don't do any of that. I just need a system that works and that I can check and put salt in, because that's about all I have time for. And I have to get someone to help me with the salt anyway. The equipment gives us good drinking water, and it keeps the water cleaner and clearer. I have less staining, too. But I still notice that occasionally, we'd have an odor from the water. But that is probably not the system's fault but the well. We have a very high water table. Other than that, people have asked me what system I have and I have always mentioned Kinetico.

I purchased two light industrial water units and two reverse osmosis units. I replaced the system in place with a heavier duty one in my other home and bought a brand new one for another home. The installers were nice guys and did a good job. I have had to replace one of the filters on the new one already because there's so much iron in the water. They provide you with one filter but after that, you have to purchase them. The systems are not cheap but Kinetico is a great company. The lady in the office, Desiree, is super nice.
