I liked the reputation of Kinetico, which I came to know about through a local company. However, I still have a problem with leaks and they want me to pay, even though they installed it. It's a frustrating situation. Other than that, my experience since having Kinetico has been good.

When I looked up Kinetico, I saw they had good reviews. I had a good experience with them. It's been years since I installed them. I haven't had any issues. The water system does what they say they're going to do with the soft water treatment. It works pretty well. They advertised a soft water solution and that's what they delivered. The water has been substantially better. The system removed all the hard water, calcium, and minerals.

We had several people out to our home and we felt more comfortable with Kinetico and what they offered. They didn't try to oversell their product and make outlandish claims. The system does everything we wanted it to. We put the salt in the system when it needed. Also, we replaced the filters ourselves. We tried to get a cheap off-brand filter that didn't work well. We ended up buying the more expensive ones from Kinetico. Other than that, I love my water. It tastes wonderful and I'm more comfortable from a health standpoint that it's much better than any tap water. I take it with me everywhere, including restaurants. I'll never go back to not drinking regular water.

I have a brother who is in water treatment and it's something that I've always had. I had done a bunch of different tests to try to see which company I wanted to go with and Kinetico was fantastic when I set up the appointment. I’ve had the water softening system with them for three years. If I have anything that I need addressed, I call them and they take care of it right away.

The Kinetico salesperson I worked with was great. When I had some problems, she was on top of it. She took care of my problems. Initially, the installation was okay. But what ended up happening was that it wasn't properly installed, and I had a flood underneath the sink. And I had a lot of problems getting someone out to fix it. And that's when I called the salesperson, and she got on top of things and helped me get things done. ‘Cause it was going on for months. There wasn't a lot of follow-through until I got that salesperson involved. And I don't think I should have been calling the contractors.

They came out, and they reconnected the system. What happened was they didn't connect it correctly. Then I had damage that needed to be taken care of, and that's what took many months to get done. Now everything's fixed. Since having the system, everyone's skin in the house is better, not irritated.

I had hard water, and I got Kinetico’s system for the full house. I saw them in an advertisement and setting up an appointment with them was seamless. The servicemen who came out were great. They explained every step of the process to me and were very professional. Since having the system, the water is much cleaner.

We have some of the worst-looking well water. It's a mobile home park. The town has to use wells, but supposedly, they upgraded theirs. The people who own this park didn't. There are over 130 trailers in here. It's big. But when they turn the water off, it comes back black. When you turn it on, and then you let it run off. We got a Kinetico, and it's a good system. My system helps me. It works well. And I've got good people who sold it to me.

We have hard water, and we purchased a water softener and a reverse osmosis from Kinetico. Kinetico's reps and installation team were good. I have been having problems with the products though, but I don't want to call Kinetico out because their price to come out just to see what's wrong with it is ridiculous. It’s not including anything that could potentially be wrong with it. It's only two years old.

I live in Arizona, so the water sucks. My brother-in-law and my nephew had the Kinetico system and they recommended it to me. The salesman was almost too knowledgeable. He went on and on, and almost gave me too much information. He was confusing me. But it was fine. I purchased the model with the drinking water filtration system, and the installation was done within an hour and a half. The young technician seemed to be very knowledgeable, too and told me what I needed to do.

Everything is going well. We love the taste of the water. Anytime I have an issue, somebody has come out within 24 hours, though I wish it were a little bit simpler and more seamless. I was hoping for something with a little less maintenance. There's a filter that has to be cleaned out every four months. So, I've been learning how to do that. It's straightforward once you know how to do it. As far as the quality of the water and the drinking water, I couldn't be happier. Price-wise, I looked at other systems and they were in the same ballpark range. They're reasonably priced for what it is. Overall, the experience has been great.

We had a previous home where we had the system from Kinetico for probably 15 years before we moved in this brand-new home in 2012. The installation here went fine and the system works great. For the quality of the product and the reliability, the price is excellent. I've recommended Kinetico to other family members. Our daughter and son-in-law installed the system in their new home, too.

I heard about Kinetico through word-of-mouth and went with them because, at the time, it used a mechanical timer and a mechanical system instead of an electric one. The sales visit was good and the reps were professional. I was replacing an old unit that had failed. The resin was spent, which prompted my call. I already knew what the hardness was and what dial was needed for the unit. The installer was professional, knew what he was doing, and was in and out in good order. So, the installation went smoothly and didn't take very long. It was straightforward. I purchased the dual tank mechanical timer water softener and it performs the way I expect it to. It has worked well, but it is fairly expensive. Overall, it's been a good and positive experience.

I had Kinetico in my other house when I was married. The installation was fine. There was no follow-up or anything. I see less mineral deposit around the pipe. I have a filter in the fridge. I take that water, filter it in the Brita, and drink it. If you have hard water, get a Kinetico.

I was living in the country and using a well, which led me to look for a water filtration system. I chose Kinetico because it doesn’t use electricity and it recirculates based on usage. I've got a system that was purchased 23 years ago and another one three years ago. Dealing with the techs was mostly positive but I wasn't happy with the installer in the Arizona house. The way he piped the system choked down the flow of the water throughout the house. I spoke to him about it, but nothing ever happened. But our drinking water is much better and the water is a lot softer. Kinetico products are higher priced. But in the long run, I'm happy with them.

Most of the Kinetico system was in place when I bought the home and I added a rust filter as well as a reverse osmosis to the kitchen sink. My hot water and cold water smell a lot less like sulfur but the system does not filter that smell out completely. I have to shock the well to get rid of the smell. Still, I'm very satisfied with Kinetico.

I needed it, and they accommodated me quickly. I had an iron softener. Takes the iron out and the smell. And mine went out. I went over and talked to the rep, and she had one, and they put it in the next day.

I needed a system because we had excess calcium in our water. I selected Kinetico because it doesn't take any power to run it, is efficient, and that is what my family has had for the last 30 years-plus. The location did a great job. We like the quality service. Also, the equipment works sufficiently and flawlessly. Any of the buildup on all of our faucets disappeared within a month and the water quality is much better. We have peace of mind. We shouldn't have to worry about it. Work with a good authorized dealer.

Two of my friends have Kinetico systems. They were happy with it, so I picked it. The agent who installed it was the same agent who is an exclusive agent for this area. He gave me a good price, and we installed all the filters, and it's been hassle-free. We have hard water so we got the softener system with a water filter for drinking at my kitchen tap. It was based on size and the hardness of the water and the compactness of the system. The water softener part of it works fine, but there's a design flaw in the water filtration system. The cap keeps falling off. It's a thing. Then I had to mechanically fix it myself, and I'm not a plumber, so I fumbled through it. There's a lot of cleanup work. It's not a big deal, but it seems like a very basic design flaw. The system works fine.

We built a new house, and then our neighbor told us that he had a Kinetico system and how well it had worked for him. So, we went with that. I installed myself. It was fine. Thus far, we've really had no trouble. We have a reverse osmosis system from the same outfit underneath the sink for our drinking water and the filters are way more expensive than some of the other brands. So, I'd tell others to look into those brands. I thought Kinetico is on a higher end price-wise compared to some of the others, but I don't have a lot of experience. We went pretty much off my neighbor's recommendation. He said he's had the same dishwasher for 25 years. With this water, it's almost hard to believe. Without the system in this country, the dishwasher won't last a year.

I have Kinetico at my home in New Mexico and it sucks. It is at a mountain home, which is at 8,000 feet and is occupied only six months out of the year. It's in an area that is susceptible to freezing. So I shut down the system and it's wrapped with heat wire to keep it from freezing during the winter. But all too often, it bridges during that shutdown period, and I have to have somebody come out and take care of that. It cost me a couple of hundred bucks almost every time I go back and open the system up, and it's a pain in the butt. Other than that, it works fine. Once we get back, I pay them $200, and we get everything straight, it works great until the next cycle and I go through that again. Here in Texas, I have a regular salt use regenerate based on a time basis rather than a use basis. It's a standard water softener and it works great. I never have a problem with it.

I've had problem after problem with the Kinetico in New Mexico and I'm over 40-some odd miles away from the installer and the company that services it. So service is not timely at times. And we got in a pissing contest about whether it had to have pellet salt or the standard rock salt type of stuff. It's been a mess and if I had to do it over again, I would not buy a Kinetico and I would not recommend anybody that lives in the geography area that I live in to buy a Kinetico. It is not conducive to high-altitude areas.

We don’t have hard water but there are minerals in it and it has a bad taste to it. You can taste the chlorine. Kinetico added a system under the sink and now, I don’t taste the chlorine. The water tastes good, and that’s all I care about. Everybody should have a water system in their house if they can afford it. It's expensive but it's worth it because water is important. Kinetico does great work. I’m very happy and pleased with all the interactions we've had with them.

When Kinetico was trying to sell me the water softener, they weren't very clear about how it worked and they weren't very clear about if you go through GreenSky, you don't get any type of service. But if you pay monthly, the service was included for the lifetime. So, I thought I was saving some money going through GreenSky and they would come service it. Now, my equipment doesn't work and my water is still hard as crap. It is awful. Kinetico's customer service is terrible and when I tried to call, they were rude. They didn't really want to help me or change anything. They sent somebody out who backwashed the system. Also, I have never once added a bag of salt in the two years I've had that thing. But it didn’t make any difference to my hair. They should quit advertising it. We have the kitchen water faucet, and my husband and I were wondering if there’s a filter for it and whether it’s supposed to be changed. We’ve been using the system for three years and Kinetico should have a follow-up program. The techs should come out and make sure that it’s okay. They could follow up maybe a year out to say we’re doing the right thing with the filters and ask if the water is coming through correctly.
