Homes.com is awful. I think I received only one lead in the 6 months I was signed up with them, told my rep multiple times on phone conversations that I didn’t want to renew. My renewal date came around and a new rep called me because my original rep quit saying that I was locked into another 6 months because my in writing “I do not want to renew” was sent after the 30 day in advance cancellation date… the whole thing is a scam. Don’t waste your money, very disappointing. I should have done more research prior to signing up, as I’m writing this they have a 1.4 overall rating.

A real estate agent contacted me and said that they received an email from me that I was interested in one of their listings. The email was through Homes.com with all my info. I am not in the market for a home and have lived in my home for 20 years. They gave the real estate agent a fake lead using my information. Real Estate agents, beware of this company. They are a scam.

This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with in my entire life!!! Agents - stay away from them!!! They will promise you the best marketing ideas orally as a presentation, but then when I signed the contract and later asked for their marketing, they couldn't deliver anything at all! They are misleading and I hate them forever!!!! They bind you into a contract and the contract doesn't state what they verbally presented. They said "well yes we said that, but that's not in the contract", when I asked about their failed service that I never saw. Unfortunately they will not release you from their contract and I'm losing my hard earned money every month to these scammers!!!! I HATE THIS COMPANY!!!!

For Homes.com to continue processing this request, could you reply here at your earliest convenience with the full name(s) you are requesting to have removed from the listing address in reference?

They post "Ownership History" with all names since century XIX exposing you to unwanted calls and harassment. Also, they post some stupid "Estimated Property Value" from some idiots who never was in your house, with rates running hundreds of thousands difference in between them. I don't know how to stop my home running on this horrible site. Please help, they endanger me every day, with calls and emails from different people.

Unfortunately, I did not do my research when signing up with Homes.com. Since I had seen them at NAR Conferences, and because Dan Levy is their spokesperson, I believed I could afford them a certain level of trust. I cannot begin to express how betrayed I feel at knowing that I have been duped into something I cannot get out of. I feel like I'm being gaslit as I do not recall ever being told I had to give 30 days notice to terminate my 6-month arrangement; and yet, that's all they keep telling me. And since I didn't terminate quickly enough (I gave my notice 28 days prior to expiration), I am obligated to sign up for another 6 months.

There is no clarification regarding termination on the receipt. It just says I bought 6 months of service. I recieved a welcome email as well - again, no instruction or clarification regarding how to terminate the contract. I have looked at every part of my account page and there is no reference to a contract or contract obligation. Another agent in my office signed up with them and he, too, had no idea that to get out from of his agreement, he had to give them 30 days notice. And now, I am reading that others have been experiencing the same thing. They have an F rating with Better Business Bureau and equally poor ratings in Trust Pilot as well.

I wanted to cancel after 6 months, but they add an additional 6 months if you don't let them know in the 5th month, 30 days prior. No flexibility at all. It doesn't matter if you aren't using the program or are leaving the business. Also, the "manager" & "customer service" reps each send you to the other one. No accountability. Zero stars.

Thinking of buying a home, or selling yours? Meet Rob **. I moved to Oak Creek Mobile Home Park in Coarsegold July, 2024 from Southern California. I quickly began the restoration of the twenty-two-year-old house I purchased. In less than a month, and half way through the renovation, I realized that I had made a mistake in moving to Central California. One of my contractors recommended a realtor friend, who I later found out was not familiar with the Coarsegold market, or selling a manufactured home. As a result, and on request, the realtor released me from that listing.

After a full, frustrating year with the second seller, being fed a constant diet of “houses are just not selling in Coarsegold”, I reached out to my realtor and friend John in Southern California, and shared my experience with the local seller. After some research, John recommended Rob, and told me Rob would be calling me. Rob called me right after speaking with my friend John, and quickly arranged an appointment. That first phone conversation was all it took. Rob introduced himself and described his vision of how he planned to sell my house. His intention and his enthusiasm, reminded me of how the great NFL Quarterback Tom Brady approached football. I knew I was in good hands.

Rob’s excellent understanding of the market, great communication skills, focus and passion, exceeded my expectations. In just a few days, Rob surpassed, outperformed, and blew me away. While early on, his exceptional communication skills, local expertise, dedication, network of local professionals, ability to make the stressful selling process smooth, his “laser” responsiveness, demonstrated ability to make good decisions and genuine care, are visibly obvious and at the same time reassuring. I truly believe in my heart, Rob will deliver.

In less than twenty four hours, my house was in the MLS including a narrated video walk through, was on multiple websites, “boosted” in Homes.com (appearing in the top ten homes for sale), and includes a 360 degree photo shoot of the entire house (inside and out). In less than a week, Rob accomplished more than the predecessor realtor did in a year. As earlier mentioned, like the great Tom Brady, I believe Rob ** is the one to get it done. Choose Rob, and like me, you’ll be glad you did.

Agents brokers beware of the scams when signing up for any marketing or agent's feature listing marketing program! They are underhanded, sneaky crooks. I am a licensed top producer ranked in the top 1.5% nationwide real estate agent with Coldwell Banker for 13 yrs. I have tried many lead generating programs, with all the top companies. I also have over the years participated in agent featured listings, and advertising/marketing digital ads. This is the first time that I have had an experience of being scammed and ghosted, by an account manager and her supervisor in my entire career 13 yrs. I am so disgusted and baffled by the contract that they responded with which I never signed and has no digital signature. They are refusing to cancel my featured listing monthly marketing.

I have asked both Morgan ** and her Manager multiple times, I have to chase them to get them on the phone for a week and they were trying to avoid the call. Never responded and finally refused to do as I instructed. Homes.com is a owned by Costar a publicly traded company. They should be ashamed of themselves. This no way to conduct business with realtors, brokers alike. Extremely underhanded & unprofessional. They are actually refusing to answer my calls and emails. I signed up on a trial basis. Spoke to Morgan **. Asked her 3X on a recorded line if there was a minimum time period for the program that needed to commit to. I asked her is it 6 months Zillow or 3 months? Since I am not new, I asked, and I told her that I am not interested in committing to any period of time. She assured me that there was nothing to commit to. I could cancel at any time.

So started in July and in November called to let her know that I wanted to cancel effective in December. That I didn't see the benefit. She didn't get back to me until 4 days later. I received her call and her response was, "You signed a 1 yr contract!" I could not believe what she said. I assured her that I did not. I reminded her that I specifically asked her 3X on the phone in July to avoid any contracts,. So she told me I could not cancel and needed to discuss this with her Manager. Greg **. So I did, he would not agree to cancel me out. Tried to convince me that they could increase my business, etc. and now another charge appeared on my credit card on December 8th that I did not authorize.

I also never signed a contract of any kind. They are now both refusing to get on a call. Customer service emailed me today that I am in a 1 yr contract. Once again the contract was never electronically signed. There is no encrypted signature. It is a LIE! They are desperate for business and don't value agent relationships. They scammed me! I am now filed several complaints with NJAR & NAR. Morgan ** and her partner Manager Gregg **.

They have it on their website that someone bought our home nine months ago, which caused us to panic, since this wasn’t true. We contacted our town to make sure somebody didn’t try to illegally buy our home out from under us, and thankfully, the deed was fine. So I contacted homes.com to tell them that their information was incorrect and sent them all the information and they still didn’t correct it to this day. Stating that they get their information from public records. Well their “public record” source is completely incorrect. And when I asked them which public record stated this to them, so that I can make sure we aren’t a victim of fraud, they wouldn’t give me that information.

I signed up with Homes.com on February 12, 2025 and cancelled on April 22, 2025 with a live agent. Despite cancellation, the company continued to withdraw $140/month from my account. By September 2025, that totals $1,120, including five months of charges after cancellation. To make matters worse, I received two emails from Homes.com (“We’re sorry to see you go”) confirming my membership cancellation—one dated April 22, 2025 stating cancellation effective Feb 11, 2026, and another dated September 24, 2025 stating cancellation effective Oct 11, 2025. Neither email disclosed that funds would continue to be withdrawn. When I contacted support in July, I was told my account was cancelled but I was somehow “locked into” a contract through April 2026—something I was never informed of at sign-up and which is not mentioned in the cancellation emails.

This practice feels deceptive and costly. I am requesting:
    1. Immediate stop of all billing
    2. Refund of $1,120 (including the $700 charged after cancellation)

    3. Clear and honest disclosure for future customers

I am sharing this review so others are warned to carefully review any agreements before entering payment details. Homes.com needs to honor cancellations when they confirm them in writing and stop withdrawing funds without proper disclosure.

I REALLY wish I had reviews prior to contacting. Warner ** knew from the very beginning that I was unhappy based on the zip code 34481 being called Fellowship on their map which did not match the Ocala City that 34481 is. When he repeatedly couldn't "fix" the problem, I him that would not renew because it wasn't generating any leads at over $1000/month. He told me in writing (email) that my account would be noted and that I didn't need to do anything further as he would cancel the auto renew. Again, I have this in writing.

2 months after what should have been my last payment, I noticed that they were still charging me. When I contacted Warner, he gave me his boss' number who I called. I was told that they would stop payment and they apologized. THEN, I GOT CHARGED AGAIN!!! So I stopped payment with my CC and asked for reversal of charges. Then Homes.com fought the reversal. NEVER AGAIN! I have warned the agents in my office. I may have set fire to over $14k.
