Initially I was satisfied with my new shower though pricey it was. From day one the shower door did not close correctly. I called service but they told me it would get better after a while. It never did. Over time the water seal at the bottom of the shower door tore away. And the door was finally easy to close but water was leaking through the door. I called service and they came to replace the door seal. Door became hard to close again. The water seal has once again torn away. I’ve been calling and writing and I’m being totally ignored by Bath Fitter.

I had my ugly bathtub/shower turned into a five star hotel. My installer Faton went well beyond the extra mile to make sure I was completely satisfied with his workmanship. Everything worked properly and no leaks. Looks fantastic!!!!

We signed our agreement for a bath to shower conversion back in November 2025. After an appropriate amount of time, the installation was scheduled. The installer came at the appointed time, introduced himself and began work. Removed the old tub/shower combination and cleaned up the demolition mess. He let us know he would be back the next morning for installation. Again, he arrived at the appointed time, which we appreciated. He went about his business and then we heard a circular saw cutting some wood. When I went to inspect what the issue was, I saw he was cutting one of our floor joists to allow for plumbing. When I asked about it he told me that the drain hole in the base was at one end and he needed to cut the joist to accommodate for it. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE ORDERED! We specifically ordered a base with a center drain hole.
I stopped the work and called the salesperson who took the measurements and our deposit and asked him why the discrepancy. He told me that it's what most people wanted so he just ordered it that way. Again, the work was not going to start up until the correct base that we wanted was installed. It would take 3-5 days to arrive from Tennessee. When it finally did come, the installer came back to finish the job. He did and the result was terrible. I first noticed the extreme over application of caulking around the outer edges. It was more than 3/8 - 1/2" thick and applied very sloppily. Also, the base, where it met the floor, was buckled at one end as if it were too big for the space., The shower head was loose and poorly installed.
I am a firm believer in letting someone do the job they are hired to do then hoping for a pleasant outcome. My error. It was poorly installed, and not something I would be proud to show visitors. I contacted the local Bath Fitter franchisee and asked a supervisor come out to view the project. He did and agreed it was not up to their standards. He would arrange for someone to come and correct the issues. They insisted on sending the same installer, who did come out, took care of the bulging base, removed much of the caulking, but added more! Again, sloppy work. I was told by the installer that it was the best he could do. He packed up and left. When making the appointment for him to come back, I specifically asked the woman who answered the phone, as to who needed to be satisfied with the work. I was told it would be us, the consumers. Obviously, I would not be writing this review if we were pleased with the job.
The worst part? Nobody, not anyone at any time, has contacted us to ask how we like our new shower. We do not, and I have to look at it every day. I would appreciate at least a phone call showing some concern and how they intend to correct the issues. Perhaps the entire job needs to be redone by a different installer, at the company's expense, or a complete refund of the money we spent for a job we are very unhappy with. Technician D. ** arrived on time and proceeded to access the issue of a plumbing leak in my basement ceiling underneath the tub. He explained what needed to be done and fixed the problem and cleaned up. He was very nice and respectful, and I certainly appreciate his courteous and polite manner.

The installer did a very good job from what I could see. My issue is with the product itself. When signing the contract I said didn't like the shower head, the shower door towel bar and the shelving. The towel bar is ok. I bought my own shower head. The shelving are 2 components - one for each corner of the shower. There is no choice in the height of the shelves. I now have 5 bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash that are too tall for the shelves which are not meant to hold more than one bottle (if the height fits). Limited choices for wall, door, shower head. I am now trying to find shelving or a caddy that will work for a sloped ceiling. I am not happy and this is $13K. Wonderful.

Signed contract February 16th. Scheduled measure for 1st week of March. Installer had emergency needed to reschedule. They couldn’t fit us in to schedule for over a week. Finally scheduled to install 4/9. Installer had an emergency and needs to reschedule. Pushed us out a week again. Apparently there is only one installer and once you sign you are not important.

Any basic tile guy will outperform what they provide for a fraction of the cost. Workers took no pride in what they were doing. Terrible caulking, walls not sticking to glue strips behind the vinyl. Originally was told one piece to the ceiling. Then they said they can't do that and put a transition strip that looks awful in between the two piece that don't line up vertically or horizontally. The handle for the shower was not fastened in any way. Literally just the plumbing holding it in place. Signed in January and still not completed as of writing April 7. Stay away.

I hired Bath Fitter to replace our tub with a professional nice looking shower. I didn't buy their shower door because I got it elsewhere and saved $900. When the door installer came to install the door they showed me that the left edge of the shower surround was over an inch out of plumb. So when they installed the door (with a laser level) the top edge of the door was over the edging.
Bath Fitter came out and said "Oh, it looks worse in person" than the photo I had sent them. They wanted me to remove the door because it wasn't theirs. So they could move their edging over which would leave a gap with their edging and the beadboard and the floor trim. Then I would have to reinstall the door. I would then have to fill that gap with a new beadboard and floor trim. I hired them so I wouldn't have to be involved and thought I would receive a professional job. Not So! I also realized later they had gone into my shed without asking and used my extension cords. They should have asked and I wouldn't have cared, but when someone goes into there and uses my stuff without asking, that to me is also very unprofessional. If you want a professional job done, don't hire the Bradenton, Fl. Bath Fitter.

Quoted $11,000 for a walk in shower not including doors. Gave deposit and decided to go with a different contractor within the 3 day time frame of cancellation. Not a great experience trying to get ahold of the company for a return. Long waiting time on phone calls and customer service wasn't the greatest. I'm still waiting for my deposit a week later. Wasn't aware I was going to receive a check back as no one from customer service explained that to me until the third time calling. I think they are way overpriced for the materials they use and not the greatest experience with this company.

We used Bath Fitter to install a walkin shower for my husband who is a vet. The install took two days. The installers were great and very professional. The customer service at bathfitter however, absolutely sucks. I have been trying to get a itemized statement with the date that the work was completed for a while now.

Christy the salesperson was kind and warm and knowledgeable and wonderful. We met with five other vendors and felt most confident with her and the company. The installer, Dustin B was fantastic. He was kind and communicative and quick and clean and accommodating and patient with questions and decisions making processes. The only thing that could have gone differently is that we chose a 3 inch lip and were using a shower curtain. The tile is older tile and when Dustin went to install it their 3 inch lip became a 1.5 inch lip because of the depth of the tile. My mom whose house this was going in was concerned about whether water would get out of the shower more so because of the more shallow depth and we might have gone with a higher lip if we had known that it would have been 1.5 inches rather than 3. Dustin B made a great suggestion for a rubber lip that can be installed if it is a problem as well. Overall a very positive experience though.

Had our bathtub replaced today. Joe (St Louis) is the one who installed it. Matt was the one who talked to us. And for the life of me, I can't remember the Plumber's name, all 3 were respectful, courteous and very knowledgeable of the product. We liked them so much that they are coming in a couple of weeks to do our shower stall.

At first I loved my Bath Fitter remodels - for a single mother I thought, worth the price, professional and hassle free. However … for the SECOND time we’ve had an emergency where our faucet stripped (never had a similar issue). Water blasting with no way to shut it off until Bathfitters can come out and fix it next week. Additionally when I called was asked if I had a contract. This concerned me since I understood they had a lifetime warranty.

Eric accomplished a bath to shower conversion that was so beautiful that I literally shouted out with joy "Oh my God, it's beautiful" when my son and I saw the reveal. Our new shower was installed on Thursday by Scottie, he arrived in a timely manner, I was a little concerned about him being alone. My concerns were quickly gone when I saw how efficiently this young man worked to install my shower, paying close attention to keeping the floors clean and protected with non-slip pads. He proceeded to work without leaving anything in the way to trip up my husband. He was very polite and didn't mind all my questions. He explained with patience how he was going to do the job and then after he was finished explained all the features of my new shower, how to clean it, and when it would be ready for its first use. All in all, I am very pleased with Bath Fitter from the sales rep to the installer, very satisfied.

This was a tub to shower conversion. Job was finished in one day as advertised. It has been a few weeks now and it looks and works just fine, no complaints. We would recommend Bath Fitter. Removing an old tub and surrounding tile is always messy but our installer Pedro ** did an outstanding job of protecting our carpets while removing the old tub and debris. Everything was clean when he finished.

I was pretty happy with the overall oak, except the outside does not look finished. The molding around each side looks great, but lacking a piece across the top really looks unfinished the way you left it.

I had an installation in September of 2025. There were some positives like getting done in 1 day. The issues I have had are several. 1. Panels around inside of tub area are flexible and move. 2. Bath tub sides are also flexible and move. 3. Shower curtain was installed too short. Common shower curtains drag on floor of the tub. 4. The area inside the shower where the sides are located are not sealed at the top resulting in possible water running down the back. 5. Shut off valve requires much effort to completely shut off the water.
6. Most importantly, when the installer came back, he could not answer most questions regarding these concerns. He gave us a number to call his supervisor. It took over a month to finally get him to answer the phone. He argued that I was calling his personal cell number and should have called the office number. I explained that his installer gave me the number to contact him. Supervisor was rigid regarding it was my fault for calling the wrong number. Basically, no corrections were offered. Overall, not thrilled with the finished product.

Looks great BUT they really were shady on pricing. Job was quoted $8600...all is well and we had original brushed nickel hardware...so additional items we bought (from them) were in the same. AFTER the job...OUR brushed nickel hardware was replaced by CHROME...I didn't really notice until that night. I called them and they said they had to break ours (plumber NEVER said anything) and they thought they were "doing us a favor" by replacing it (with CHROME). Obviously, doesn't matched and they charged us another $900 for replacement hardware and installation!! Rip off!!!
