I bought a 43" LG TV about 3 years ago and in the past 6 months it has been consistently disconnecting from my Wifi. I have done all the resets including back to the initial settings and nothing fixes this issue permanently. I called LG and the customer service really tried to help but all they could do was refer me to a service center. According to many other reviews about the same issue I am having.. This has been happening for a while and still is an issue and nothing has been done to rectify this even in the 2022 LG TV. Shame on you LG.. You don't deserve my business.

We purchased an LG OLED 65 inch CXPUA TV two years and five months ago. Last night a green vertical line appeared on the screen. I called LG and they referred me to a repair person who confirmed that the entire screen needs to be replaced which costs as much as a new TV. We spent $2300 on this TV in Oct 2020. We do not have an extended warranty, but we did not expect to have the entire TV fail this soon after buying it. LG strung us along on the phone for over two hours, and yet never offered to supply the parts so that we could pay someone to have it repaired. I will never buy LG products again. Really disappointing customer service.

This TV is not worth it. I have been waiting to really see for sure tv is junk in case it somehow operated after update better that it has before. Aside from the slow scrolling issue it sometimes at random goes someplace other that what I selected with remote, it has done this on more than one occasion. Now what just happened is I was tuned into some of the local channels via an external antenna and every channel would play for about three seconds then it would go to the scenic picture scene where it says no signal found but, you could hear the channel playing from the audio which was sounded completely normal but no picture.
I uplugged tv and held power button in for ten seconds. Restarted tv and problem was gone, all stations played perfectly then. I am so disappointed that this will be going back to the store, I just can't stomach this thing any longer. The software has to be at fault and is a mess, not waiting for the day they could completely redo the software/firmware by throwing this version away which is what they need to do.

Check Network Connection - Error Code: -106. My LG TV continues to lose my internet access, and I have to retype my password; it then drops again, within the next few minutes. My internet connection is fine on my laptop, iPhone, and Vizio television. I followed the instructions from LG Support Rep, who also told me this is common for this tv: HARD RESET, UNPLUG TV, HOLD THE ON/OFF BUTTON FOR 16 SECS, PLUG IN. This works for about an hour, and the network drops again. They offered to provide an LG authorized dealer in my area, as long as I pay for the diagnostics. I really wish I could give this a lower review. Please SAVE your money. Do not buy LG.

We recently punched a 77 in tv from LG and for 1 month it worded just fine and we loved it. Then out of nowhere it just stopped working. The red light is on showing that it has power going to it and yet the screen just will not work. I have gotten a run around from this company since July the 28th and it is now August the 22nd. They told me there isn’t an authorized dealer to come and help take care of the tv and I am basically waiting until they figure it out. How about replace the tv and I’ll send this 3,000 dollar paperweight back to them. This is just absolutely insane, I will not ever buy from LG again.

If I could give this company and this TV negative stars I would. I purchased this TV two years ago and it stopped working out of the blue recently. I called into LG and they said offered a one time courtesy repair despite me being out of warranty. They jerked me around for three weeks asking for proof of purchase and every other little piece of information asking for more and more every time I would call. I would’ve happily given that this information in one phone call. After my 10th call I get a automated email saying that I am out of warranty, which I knew, and they would not be extending the repair. When you purchase a product of this price, you expect quality and a longevity. LG lost a customer for life.

I bought a 60" LG TV, it is just 6 months old. It has developed issues with the picture, LG said they would send a technician to fix it, they never showed, after speaking to the repair service LG have said my TV is unrepairable due to a parts shortage and issued me a credit for the TV to the store where I bought it. I had to pay the taxes all over again about $150, I contacted LG and they said they do refund this as they can not control what the stores do. Paying the taxes has nothing to with the store here in Canada, I asked why I could not have done a straight swap. So I am out $150 due to the TV having issues, no fault of mine, really poor customer relations, I will never buy another LG product again.

I purchased an LG 55 inch in December. The first LG was cracked when we opened the box, so we returned it to Best Buy. When we replaced it, we had the second LG for 35 days and the TV broke. When we called customer service at LG, they sent someone to fix it and they opened the tv, there was soot inside. The TV had burned out. The technician came two more times to try to fix it, to no avail. There were no parts available. We asked for a refund. Since December, LG has ignored our calls and has not tried to fix this problem. We now have a $650 TV that we purchased and is just sitting there. We have been told they will call us back, and they have not. It's been almost four months, and we cannot get in touch with anyone. As a result, we will never purchase another LG product again. We honestly don't know what to do anymore.

Purchased my OLED 2 years ago, and after 1.5 years (warranty is only 1 yr) the TV starting randomly powering itself down. Following the LG tech's recommendation, I called cust service to demand a replacement OLED screen, offering to pay out of pocket for labor and for new main and power boards.
I've spoken/communicated with 5 different reps over the past 4 months, and every one of them tells me the same story--replacement screen should be no problem but needs to be approved by management; promised to be my point of contact until the issue was resolved...then nothing, crickets, total silence. Meanwhile my very expensive TV sits dark. I think LG reps are literally trained to blow people off until they get so frustrated that they'll drop it, like I eventually did. At this point, I've given up on LG and bought a Vizio replacement. LG has shown their true colors, and I'll never buy any LG product again.

After spending an enormous amount of money on 2 LG TVs, I am hoping to save other people from their incompetence! Sad TV 1- Less than 2 years old, yet the folks at LG have no clue how to add apps for AppleTV and HBO-MAX! I was in complete disbelief, so I tried to call "customer service" at 7:20 pm only to find out they were CLOSED! Nothing says that a company has given up like closing before the sun has gone down!
Sad TV 2 - Just got it home last night. I decided to go with the upscaled OLED. Got into bed last night to sadly find out that the "Magic" remote wasn't very magic. It seems that someone at LG decided not to go the extra step and include BACKLIGHTING on the remote! So if you want to use the remote, you have to fumble around in the dark trying to get the light on to operate the remote. What a buzzkill! REALLY? How hard could it possibly be to add a backlight to a remote! I will be bringing the TV back tomorrow and telling them what I think of their highly overpriced monstrosity.
Thank you for allowing me to step in and assist.

After the repair was made the repairman did not offer to go over the repair with me but instead told me on how quickly and great he finished the job, and I unfortunately didn’t look over the TV until a few days later and noticed that the thin frame on the left-hand side was scratched and there was a white substance between the screen and the thin frame so again I contacted the company where I bought the tv as they were working with LG and the repairman. There are some things that my LG TV lacks on, but it's better than the ones I've had before. The main issue I have with my LG TV is the bootup speed, another thing too is how it processes things as it takes a while for the TV to handle things. The internet connectivity on it too is pretty slow, even when connected directly to the router using Ethernet. The smart features on the TV is also pretty limited as I wished to have the Amazon Alexa integration capability in it too, but I didn't get that in with the TV -- so I was quite a bit disappointed with it. My entire house is equipped with Amazon Echo devices and it's also a nice touch where I'm able to control a lot of smart appliances and devices with it which makes everything for me much easier to manage since I tend to be pretty busy throughout the day, so it takes a while to get things going.

The size screen we have, 48 inches is a good size for our living room as we do not want such a giant screen since it may not be comfortable to watch. I do not know what is wrong with our LG in the bedroom. Each time we turn it on now, it shows a different volume number and we can not move it up or down. We are stuck watching the program at this volume. As long as it stays around 43, we will keep the TV, but if it fluctuates too much, we may be forced to purchase a new one. It is now early July 2021 and no resolution with over 20 hours on the phone and two trips to Best Buy and two trips to the repair shop. All for a $400 TV. LG sent out a repair person - they couldn't fix it and ordered the replacement part and when it was delivered I took the TV to the repair shop myself. After a week, the replacement part didn't work and the defective part was not available. This phase took a month. I called LG and they gave me a number and said go to Best Buy to exchange the TV - at Best Buy they had no idea what I was talking about (as I am carrying around a 50" TV). I called LG and they said "you shouldn't have gone to Best Buy until we tell you".
I have called 1-2 times a week since then - never anyone who can give me an update and I am always told "Our supervisor will call you. We don't know why we haven't processed and advised Best Buy" or "please check with Best Buy". I checked again last week. Today I called and demanded to speak to a supervisor given they never return the call - after 2 hrs on hold I was disconnected. I will never ever buy another LG product - ordering Samsung TV tonight. The tv failed in less than 3 years due to defective parts. The service technician said the tv required a brand new panel, no other way around it. LG has refused to acknowledge the problem. Internet research has proven there are countless unhappy consumers, who purchased the tv in years 2018 and 2019, by having their tv turn on and off by itself or just not turn on in the first place. My question to anyone reading this... Why would anyone spend $1,800 on a tv that they knew would last less than 3 years? LG knows about this problem and still refuses to stand by their product. I am very disappointed in LG's OLED TVs. First off, I think it's ridiculous how they market these as having excellent picture quality but don't warn customers that you have to watch them with caution. If you leave static images on screen for too long, you risk the possibility of burn in which happened to me twice! The first time it happened, LG replaced my screen at no additional charge (Which is not recommended). After the replacement, my screen burned in again less than a year later even after my running the clear panel noise tool to help prevent it from happening.
I contacted LG support to inform them of the issue, and I was routed to executive level support who rudely informed me that they could not do anything since they'd replaced it the first time. This is after they admitted the TV I have does not have the appropriate software to help mitigate the burn in issue and it was no fault of my own. Ridiculous as I paid almost 2K for this TV. LG does not cover burn in for a reason and I personally think it's unprofessional as they know their TV's are susceptible to this issue and it's not just a "user error"!
Also, LG, why not warn customers ahead of time that they need to basically "babysit" their TV if they purchase an OLED and cannot watch it in a traditional sense (Meaning leaving it on sports for more than a few hours)? I have always been a fan of LG but this experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I would not recommend purchasing an OLED from LG. I hope your software has gotten better over the years bc the picture quality is great however; customers like me are left with almost 2k gone down the drain due to burn in that you knew was possible yet ignored to inform customers of. Your support team at the executive level needs to up its level of professionalism as well.

I purchased my television on January 27th, 2020 and by the end of July 2020, it began turning itself on at random times all by itself. After multiple attempts to get the tv repaired without finding a repair person in my area and waiting several months, I finally insisted I receive a new tv or a full refund. I began trying in late October to get a prepaid label to return my tv for a full refund. I finally received the label and my tv was received by LG in Duluth, GA on 1/19/21. Since that time I have made multiple attempts either by texting the RA Department, emailing and calling. I have so many notes, dates, who I spoke with, etc. At this point, I’ve spoken to no less than 6 individuals in the RA Department and Executive Services since 2/1/21 to see where my check is after being told originally the check would go out on 2/5. My last call was 3/2 with a promise of getting my check but still nothing has happened. LG has much to improve.

The rebooting issue appears to be caused by an incompatibility with my Netgear ethernet switch and the TV. Perhaps the power over ethernet was causing damage to the control board. Not sure. After plugging ethernet directly to the wall there appear to be no issues. Thank you for service. Tai was thorough in troubleshooting and repair. Disappointed that LG customer service would not provide service until I reviewed on Consumer Affairs.

There is sound but just a black screen. Sadly the company says it’s over a year and the warranty has expired. I find it hard to believe that a tv only lasts just over a year. Now I’m concerned about my new house full of LG appliances (approx $10K worth), will they be breaking down sometime soon too? I purchased an LG OLED 55” curved screen television less than 2 years ago for $3000. It has become the worst television ownership experience I’ve had since tube TVs became obsolete. After a year, I began to notice vertical and horizontal lines about three inches wide that traversed my screen. At first, they were only visible on lighter screens but now are visible against everything except black backgrounds, I contacted LG and they advised me to perform a corrective function which did absolutely nothing. Beyond that, I was told that it was a “burn in” problem common with this technology and not covered under warranty. Now, for the first time in years I am faced with the prospect of having to replace a television not because it is obsolete but because it is defective. I am a very unhappy customer!

I bought an LG LED TV in July of 2020, it began having issues and was covered under warranty so I began the process on 11/13/20, they used a third party service center that took weeks to schedule, were unable to fix the tvs problem, but canceled the service order anyway. Back to square one. The third party service technician even reported generally bad customer service from LG compared to the other TV brands they service. LG is completely unresponsive to their return authorization email, policy said 24 hours for a reply, but that was 12/28/20 since the first one, and two more since then still with no reply. (Luckily that documents itself.)
LG's call center reported that it had "larger than normal call volume" and hold times every time I've tried to call over these 2+ months, meaning either: they give consistently bad service, or are somehow understaffed to respond to their requests. IF you do get through it's inevitably to a department who can't answer the question, and just dump you into the queue for another department. As of 1/20/21, LG has finally approved a refund on 1/15/21 but told me to wait 2-3 days to confirm details for my refund, and five days later I'm spending an hour after work reaching out to them to send me that form to fill out to even continue this process of getting a refund for a defective, and unfixable LG TV.
Overall, it's been a frustrating and painful process to get a working TV or refund, and I would not recommend anyone buy an LG tv in case you have to jump through the hoops like I have, choose a brand who won't dump you off on a third party service center for months while failing to uphold their warranty. The TV itself, was decently nice until the screen started having issues. I'd be happy to provide evidence here, or to LG if they ever reach out.

My OLED (65in B7A 2018) tv has suffered from the exact same issues plaguing many throughout the world that led to 60000 televisions being recalled. For some reason, they claim these issues are impossible for US televisions even though they have the same board and capacitors. The issues plaguing these televisions are related to the power supply and lead to overheating and in some instances fire. The overheating of the power supply causes a capacitor to trip and thus making it so the TV will not turn on again. There is a reason the TV was recalled in other countries, it is potentially quite dangerous. LG has not yet provided a service to fix TVs in the United States plagued by the same issues as other countries and have not yet provided adequate customer service to fix the issue.
Unfortunately, I have recommended this television to many people because the picture quality was honestly amazing. Thought I would be an LG OLED consumer for a long time but unfortunately I cannot recommend anyone buy a >$2000 television set from a company that refuse to even fix potentially dangerous televisions. Regardless, the >$2000 television is now a potentially dangerous brick.

LG OLED 55in TV I bought in 2018 is now showing serious burn-in making the viewing experience pathetic. Contacted LG and was offered courtesy replacement and asked me to bear the labor cost. Asking the agent how much will the labor cost, I was told the service center will give me a quote and they don’t have any numbers or standard rate. Now service center calls me and gives me a quote of $300.
I am really disappointed and worried with the cost associated with labor and it’s not even 3 years and I have to spend the additional amount which has no guarantee that I may end up in the same situation again. Upon contacting LG again to understand if they can help in anyway to bring down the labor cost or waive off, had a bad experience with a rigid NO and non-customer centric response stating LG is already bearing the part cost and cannot do anymore. I am worried if the OLED tv life is meant to be less than 3 years? Am I supposed to continue watching with bad display experience, if I am not happy to spending another $300 which will give no guarantee that this problem will not occur again. LG Reference No: **

Before I write about my experience with LG, let me first tell you about myself. I am a 40 year gas industry professional. I have been the National Service Manager for a decade with a division of Rheem. I ran the call center, wrote the warranties and administered them. I've been an application engineer (a safety engineer) and Marketing manager. It has taken an extraordinary failure to get me to take the time to share my negative experience with your readers. My comments are accurate, honest and quite telling.
I purchased my 65" SJ9500 4k TV from Dell.com for $2,000 in the fall of 2018. It worked without issue until the evening of the 11th of October, when without notice or warning the screen assembly detached from the frame and came crashing down on the mantle and hearth. The parts knocked over candelabras and if they would have had lit candles, my home could have caught fire. And child sitting in front of the TV when it came apart could have been seriously cut from the heavy sheets of plexiglass that detached from the frame.
I had a dozen or more conversations with LG customer service agents that were totally over their heads in terms of trying to understand and responsibly escalate what had happened and what the consequences could have been to the staff safety engineers at LG. By early November one agent gave me an assurance that the TV would be replaced, and LG would contact me no later than December 3rd to make the replacement offer. December 3rd came and went. No call. No email. A few days ago I contacted LG to inquire. I was told that the warranty offer had been denied as "it was cosmetic damage". Since LG has refused to honor the warranty nor have they kept their word, I have filed a complaint with the Federal Consumer Products Safety Commission and I will file suit as well shortly.
I cannot emphasis how displeased I am with LG. Products and customer non-service are the worst I've ever experienced. I am extremely unhappy and I urge anyone making an inquiry about LG products to avoid their products no matter what a salesman or website claims. I hope the Federal Government finds cause to recall all of their TVs. Buy a Sony, Samsung or Visio product. Anything but LG.

I called Best Buy and they told me to take it up with LG.
So I spoke to technical service and expressed my concerns. As they were looking up my purchase I asked if they had ever heard about this problem. He said, “I have been working here a long time and I have never heard of such a problem.” In an indignant manner. He then stated that my product was out of warranty and could not help me. I complained more and told him that I was an Electrical Engineer and would understand if he would explain what might be wrong. He refused and repeated the warranty diatribe. I couldn’t believe that $1,000.00 of home entertainment equipment failed after 2 years. Ridiculous. So now I advertise the terrible products and service LG supplies. I should have known better, my sister had the same problem with a $1,200.00 range that the repair company couldn’t fix because of faulty parts from LG. I saved my money to buy my parents a LG OLED b9, a 1300 TV for Christmas. 6 months into the purchase the TV is flickering terribly, I have a attached a video for review.
A "technician" came out and told us a part needed to be ordered but the TV would probably need to be replaced and the part would be here in 10 days.... 2 weeks go by and I call the number and they tell me the service shop canceled my order. Great. They make another appointment and it's canceled for no good reason. I contact consumer affairs and someone tells me a refund is in the works and someone will contact me about a refund. That was 2 weeks ago. I just called and spoke to someone who sounded like they knew about as much as to what was going on as me, transferred me after telling me they didn't even have a case issued yet AND THEN the transfer hung up on me.
I work customer service and have so for 15 years and in no way shape or form would I have a consistent job if I treated people this way. I will be making more complaints and escalating this until I am issued my refund. I have emailed Action 9 and will be reaching out to other public sources. Representative told me he had the work order and that the parts had been ordered but because of Covid, shipping delays were possible. The parts were ordered from AL; am in NC. Eight days later, contacted the repair company for ETA. Was informed by the agent for repair company that he had rejected the work order and would not do the work for LG because LG would not reimburse him for mileage to my location. LG never contacted me in reference to this.
Contacted LG and asked to speak with a supervisor; gave her the information, work order number and she said she could not submit another order because of some glitch, so she placed me on hold to "get some help"; call disconnected by LG. I have been dealing with customer service since last October (Yes, you read that correctly - it's been over a year and no resolution). I have had a repair guy out 4 different times to repair the TV. Nothing has worked so I am assuming it is a part that can't be replaced.
Customer service has been absolutely horrendous. None of them put in the proper notes so every time I call I get the run around. They try to tell you what you want to hear then don't actually do anything. Right now at this moment I am currently on hold - I have now been transferred on my call 3 times now and am going on 4 hours in one phone call and still haven't got a hold of anyone that can resolve their mistakes. Again I have been dealing with this for over a year. I urge you not to buy anything LG. Our washer machine unfortunately is LG as well. Won't be buying anything LG in the future.

Bought this TV 3 1/2 yrs ago at Costco. Turned it on and all it does is flash. I called a repair place, they said that all of the LG’s did that, and it would cost $350 to fix. Called the LG helpline, after being on hold for 35 minutes, a person that spoke in broken English ”Bob”, said that it was out of warranty, and said they would do nothing, and hung up on me. I looked on YouTube, saw a whole bunch of videos on these TV’s. They all said that this is an LG problem, and they will not do anything about it. I took the set apart, found the problem, LED light strips, just like they all said it would be. Now I’m waiting on replacement LED strips, from China.
You would think that the US government would step in and do something about this. It is not an isolated problem, but almost all LG TV’s are doing this. Every appliance and TV in my house is LG. We just had a new house built. All of the TV’s, and appliances, will be Samsung, not LG. 3 TV’s, stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, and dryer, all are Samsung. People, pay attention to the reviews, the lack of customer service, from this company. Enough people complain, or quit buying LG products, maybe they will listen.

I only gave the one star because there is not an option to give zero star rating. I have an LG 65" flat screen TV that is just under two years old. This TV has been repaired or should I say the panel has been replaced with a "new" one twice in the past four months and guess what...it is currently not working. The TV started showing black (or white) liners on the screen, I contacted LG and they sure put on the show and had be believing that they were going to be helpful. A technician came to my house and stated that it was a wire, that didn't resolve the issue. He came back and said that it was the entire panel with mother board, so he ordered a replacement, which came in about three to four days. He came back and replaced the panel and that lasted about two months. This all happened in June of 2020.
In August the TV went out again, but this time not only did the lines show up, but the TV screen went black. I contacted LG who literally stated that they were doing me a favor by revisiting the issue. A technician came out and rudely criticized the previous technician and then left after stating that he will not touch the TV because the previous technician "messed up really bad and didn't do his job." I contacted LG yet again and yet another technician came out and said that the panel and the mother board of the current one was messed up. LG did and over-ride of the work order and he was able to order another panel and mother board...but this time he stated that the part has to be sent to their repair center. He then took the TV away and had it for about two weeks. He then told me that the part was in and the TV was repaired. This was the 27 August 2020.
He brought back the TV and it worked until this weekend 17 October 2020...when guess what...the lines showed up and then within hours the TV went black. Remember that this is still a TV that is not yet two years old and all LG cared about was that the warranty has expired... They cared very little about the quality of their product and the supposedly replacements they did twice in less than four months. So now I have to go and buy and new TV. Guess what...the unmitigated gall of an LG person to try and tell me that I should trust a newer version with a price tag of over $2,000.00...because, as he stated, the newer TVs will never do what that "older" TV did. Then guess what LG...for the inconvenience alone and in the name of good customer service that would back of your motto "Life is Good" replace the raggedy Tv with a newer one that would cost you virtually nothing considering how many you sell.
Yes I do realize that with the many many complaints you have been getting these days...replacing TVs would not be cost effective. Hey LG...at this point I do not want a replacement... I will continue to blast you on social media...and I will now have to shell out money for a new TV because I was gullible enough to trust your product...that you showed no care about.

We bought a 42" LG 42LF580V 5 years ago & 2 years ago we had to replace the backlight as the picture was flickering terribly (we spoke to LG, they didn't want to know unless we paid £200 in repairs as it only had a 1 year warranty, local repairman did it for £80) & now it won't switch on at all. Every TV I ever owned before smart TV's lasted , some as long as 20 years & would still work if they chose not to switch off the analogue signal, this LG I have? Useless & they really don't want to help when you speak to them. Save your money & buy Samsung, or Sony, or Panasonic, or Phillips, anyone but these lot.

I purchased an OLED TV two years ago. After one year, the TV suffered terrible banding on the screen. LG did replace the panel but within 3 months the same occurred. LG blames me for what they call burn-in. However, I have no kids in the house, I have no game consoles, and I don't watch news shows with banners. I have now argued with LG for over a year with some time off since I developed lung cancer. Like LG could care! Again, LG recently denied that I was sold a lemon and insists that it is my fault. They have told me on more than one occasion that their screens will suffer burn-in if watched more than 1 or 2 hours continuously.
How do you like them apples? Forget about watching the next big game. I have other major appliances from LG but I now have to question whether to do business with LG again after they just screwed me out of $2000. I am now stuck with a TV that can't enjoyably be watched since the picture is degraded to the extent of annoyance. Being retired and on a fixed income does not allow me to just run out and spend money I don't have to buy another TV. I say shame on you LG!

I just moved into my new home and saved up for a 55” LG TV. The legs on this are absolutely terrible. I put them on and screwed them in place to make them as sturdy as possible and it was still incredibly wobbly. Tonight, for NO reason, one of the TVs toppled over onto my head and completely smashed. I was not making any movement that would cause the TV to fall over and now I have no TV. Also might have a concussion too. Thanks LG! Now I have to drop $500 more on a new TV and god knows how much on a hospital bill.

I purchased a brand new 65” LG C series OLED on 11/18/19. On 10/3/20, the TV shows only a thin red line for 1/3 second when turned on and shuts off. There was no physical damage to the tv, it worked the evening before. LG refused to honor any warranty since I was unaware that I had purchased it from an unauthorized dealer. I am forced to discard the TV which cost me almost 3K, even though LG was aware that it was a defect in that model. I consider this not to be reputable behavior and surprised that LG would treat loyal customers so poorly. Their products look very nice but are not reliable and they don’t stand behind them. I would have had the same issue if I had exceeded the 1yr warranty period.
Unfortunately, my credit card company changed their policy 2 months before my purchase without notifying me that they no longer extend manufacturers warranties. If LG makes good on this purchase, I will retract this poor review but until then, I would advise not to buy any of their products because of how poorly they treat loyal repeated customers. They could have at least offered a discount on a replacement item.

Ordered an LG 75nano91ana TV, delivered quickly by Costco. After wall installation I discovered the TV remote and Operation Manual were not included. The TV REQUIRED the remote to start installation. This was confirmed by LG tech support. LG customer service agreed to ship the remote, not overnight, but delivery in 7 to 10 BUSINESS DAYS. Not including the remote was incompetent. Replacing it by slow mail is ridiculous. My installed TV will not work for 2 weeks. Also, I was told the missing users manual would be emailed to me. It took 3 calls to LG before they actually sent it.

They replaced LCD screen and fixed the issue until now. The tv is having the same issue in the same part of the screen except now it's worse! It looks like a barcode in this area and guess what, you guessed it. It's out of warranty! My wife bought this tv for our new house and it wasnt cheap, then add on the fact they charged a 100 dollars to register my TV is wrong. Maybe they will see this and exchange this defective product.

We bought this LG 55" OLED TV on July 3, 2019 so it's just a bit over one year. While watching it about 3 weeks ago it just LOUDLY exploded, shot out white sparks about 12" out from the bottom left part of the screen and died a quick death. One year warranty? THAT should be one's first clue. If LG can ONLY give a 1 year warranty on a TV that costs THIS MUCH ($1749.99) US dollars then BEWARE Folks. Since we bought it at Costco the warranty was doubled so we are still covered.
We have never able to speak to anyone at LG, but C S Rep Mae asked for tons of info, which was provided. Meanwhile, Costco has set up a repairman to come to our house and fix it. We do NOT want this TV in our house. Between our 140 years lifetime together, ie, mid-70's each, we have NEVER owned a TV that exploded. There is NO damage to the exterior however; it's all internal damage. We want LG to give us our money back. WHY are we being FORCED to abide by their idea of "good enough". That's basically what they're saying. "Oh, be nice little customer, we'll just fix this, and now go away". That is how it feels in the way LG is IGNORING and not RESPONDING to us. We've sent at least 4 emails to them about this.
Are we wrong to NOT want to keep this TV? Doesn't it make more sense to LET us DECIDE WHAT we WANT done in this case? Fixing this TV is not a satisfactory solution. Because we live in Hawaii we have TONS of electrical issues and we just didn't think about that last year when we bought it. Everything and anything electrical just breaks down here due to the high amount of excessive moisture in the air. So we know this TV will have additional problems that may not not happen until we are out of the warranty. We cannot afford to be paying for Repairs every year. Due to this we're issue we're sure this is just the beginning of a long miserable relationship with all other kinds of problems going on with it. This TV IS A LEMON.
Has anyone had their LG TV Explode?? How do you all feel about this? Would you just quietly accept a "repair"? If I were to buy this same TV at Costco NOW I could get it for 100 less PLUS get a 5 year Warranty. That is what we NEED. We have NO faith in the TV and don't want it now that it's had this major EXPLOSION. We spent $1749.99 one year ago. We know we're getting the short end of the stick here and we can't get anyone at LG to respond to us to discuss other options.
What do we have to do to get our money back? Are we LEGALLY FORCED to accept this crap TV? Doesn't the Consumer have ANY rights or say so in the resolution of a problem like this? I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK. I'll go buy a TV with a decent warranty, possibly an LG in a larger size. Don't you all think it's really cheeky to sell an almost 2K buck TV and only give it a 1 year Warranty? LG, why don't you have any faith in your product??? Now I sure don't. Shameful. Please let me know if you think I'm being too fussy or if you agree with me, thanks (if that's possible, don't know the guidelines, just signed up).

Very disappointing to spend so much money on an unreliable product.

Original Review: We bought a 55 LG OLED TV after carefully researched for the best picture and sound in Jan 2018. Now in July 2020 one quarter of the screen has pixel banding and burn. Phoned customer service and told to do the pixel refresher 5 times. Made no difference: possibly worse as banding stretched more across screen. Frustrated we spend to much money - 1789 euros for this 55” TV and the warranty from LG is a year and the store 2years. Very disappointed.

Before I tell you the issue, let me say from February 2020-June 24 2020, I called and spoke with someone more time that I wish to recount, as well as emailing. I don't know for sure but at 12 times is a safe estimate. When I called, it was always escalated and I was told I would hear back at which point it was entirely dropped and I never heard back. In each email I re-supplied all context, cast number, account info, product serial, purchase date, model, etc, etc in every email so there were no excuses. They were not delayed in getting back to me. I'm certain they read my concern and JUST DROPPED IT because it happened so many times.
Today June 24 2020 I finally got an reply with a brief email that was from a "donotreply@lge.com". Isn't that cute and convenient for you. It basically said tough and after multiple people said, "I'll have someone reach out," I get this 4 months later. The issue is I paid a boat load for an LG OLED TV. But guess what? When I got it, it was a different TV on the outside with what I'm told are the LG OLED guys on the inside. But I wanted it specifically for the thin sides all the way down. It's not only bad that they wrote this but and defended it but they did it after a dozen reps apologizing for the misunderstanding and recognizing my frustration. Here is what they wrote. "On Wed, Jun 24, 2020 at 9:25 AM wrote:
