On website Vitacost policy says free returns but unfortunately they do not send return label. They do not accept any returns. Customer service is no good! Above all the shipment too comes after a week or 10 days. Will never shop here again

Love the packing of the products - nothing has ever been open or broken - and the turnaround is really great. Would have given 5-stars but one of the items was picked incorrectly so sent a note to customer service. Received Barley instead of GF Corn Meal Mix. Otherwise the products are fresh with good expiration dates!

I've been ordering from Vitacost for quite a while. This time I'm not receiving my order. It's been delayed for some reason since 12/11/25. It is not a problem with Vitacost but with the delivery company that has my order.

Excellent customer service! Ordered 3 Amy's Salsa Medium. One jars lid's seal was broken. Contacted customer service via the website and a replacement was shipped within a couple days. I usually have been ordering this product only from Vitacost. Now I know why. BTW the Salsa I've been eating for decades. You should try it!

I've been shopping with Vitacost for many years. Their selection, prices and attention to detail (everything is always packed so well, yet with minimal paper and boxes) is outstanding. I usually receive my order within a week. I get my vitamins here, but also cleaning supplies, shampoos and conditioners, cosmetics, even some food items. They carry many of my favorite brands, all of which are environmentally thoughtful in their ingredients and packaging. I tell people about Vitacost all the time. It's the best.

I bought an all natural stuffed horse for my dog 5 years ago when I purchased him at 8 weeks. He loved that horse and took good care of it but it wore out. I couldn’t find another one at any local store, so I did a Google search, and found exactly what I was looking for at Vitacost. I bought one last year and decided to buy him three more so he will get a new one each Christmas for the next 3-6 years. It will be according to the wear. So glad I found this company! I live in the San Luis Valley in Colorado. We are very remote, the nearest city is Alamosa. We have no natural groceries or vitamin supplement store in the area so one has to depend on the internet. So far Vitacost has been the merchant for me to shop online.

The Lazy OnTrac driver dumped my box from Vitacost far away from my door. Order #**. OnTrac tracking **. Rescued by a neighbor. OnTrac is chronically making errors. When I request a different carrier, Vitacost refuses. No more Vitacost for me!

Yes good item. Fig and g.i. clinical hn019 probiotic and shipping costs are higher than I want. But inflation has affected this also. So I need to restrict my budget more to put funds where it is important. It is get what you pay for and worth every nickel dime quarter half dollar dollar.

FedEx would not deliver my order due to damage during shipment. It was returned to Vitacost. No one notified me. When I called Vitacost to inquire they said they would send out another order. It took was returned due to damage. When I called Vitacost all they could do was issue a refund. It went to their credit department where it stayed for days. I finally got my refund a couple of weeks after my order had been placed. Customer service reps are not friendly, helpful. They sound like robots. Very disappointing experience.

After checking out online several items I wanted to order and being surprised at some of the price increases since my last order of these same items, I went to the Vitacost website and found most of the same items there offered at a much more reasonable price. I still continued to price shop for another day or two and finally decided that for my needs and the long list of items I had made, I could not do better than order them from Vitacost. Another surprise came after I actually placed my order. The delivery date came sooner than they had originally estimated! And the carrier they used to deliver my order placed the box exactly by the garage as I had requested.

I have been ordering from Vitacost (and recommending them to others) for a number of years. They stand behind their products and are great with quick shipping and communication. I have purchased vitamins, teas, and gluten free flour, for the most part. Recently I ordered 4 boxes of the GF flour but was disappointed that each of the cellophane bags of flour (inside the cardboard box) had somehow burst open, possibly because of the cold weather. They immediately sent 4 replacement boxes. Some of those were also split open, but it shouldn't affect what is left in the package. I will stick to warm weather ordering for flour. They have good products, and I trust the Vitacost name brand.

The whole family likes to order from Vitacost to eat very healthy as we are totally vegan in getting our food from them especially during the holidays where there are super discounts for the items ordered.

I ordered 10 bags of no salt corn chips. The 3 packages arrived on time but didn't receive any updates on the shipment. All the bags had been carelessly thrown into the boxes with a little brown paper, not nearly enough to keep them from moving. All the bags has major chip breakage. :-( Will not order again. Contrast this with another supplier who carefully place the chips flat in the appropriate sized box, one on top of the other and padded on top so there was no movement. Almost all the chips were unbroken. You can do better Vitacost!

I have always looked forward to my Vitacost deliveries. The last year or so, I have had dented cans, damaged products and contents of products strewn about inside the container (cardboard shipping box). I am not sure what has occurred with the packing crew. This past order had 2 damaged and unusable items and 2 items missing. I have also noted expiration/use by dates only 6 months to a year from the date order was received. At this point in time, I am considering leaving Vitacost.

I was very pleased with the selected products, good sale, Items were packed and shipped fast. I generally stay with a company that I get good results from, and Vitacost is always a winner. Will shop with them again in the future.

Do you have the same that I ordered in a Vanilla flavor or one with some flavor. I am not thrilled with the taste of the plain that I bought. I have tried adding t to my coffee in he mornings but did not enjoy the coffee method and in plain hot water not a good taste at all as well.

Vitacost has many products that I like. The products are good quality and they are packaged well for shipping. One of the shipping companies, On Trac, is always responsive to my requests to leave packages at the front door. FedEx, on the other hand, continues to leave packages in many different places, including at the mailbox down by the road where it is susceptible to be stolen. I have clear instructions with FedEx to leave packages at the front door, but they don't seem to understand.

Vitamin K2 is so important for our health, so I liked finding it on sale. I have been ordering Vitamin K2 for several years from Vitacost. They are a reputable company. It was easy to place the order and I appreciated getting 20% off plus bogo 50% off. Of course, the 20% off did not apply to the item that was already 50% off. The package arrived when the tracking predicted it would. Free shipping was good, also.

Vitacost has a great selection of supplements in reasonable quantities, good prices, especially when on sale, and an efficient order process and shipping that arrives on time. They are part of Kroger, which we have been familiar with in our prior hometown, and glad there remains an option to get these products online. I specifically order the Vitacost brand when possible, and feel I get the same quality and effectiveness as more expensive brands.

Vitacost canceled three fully confirmed orders without notice — after sending confirmation emails, assigning delivery dates, and placing holds on my credit card. I waited at home all day for deliveries that never arrived because their system canceled everything internally with zero notification. Their own supervisors admitted it was a system failure, yet I was told it was because my orders were “placed too close together” — a rule that is not disclosed anywhere. I lost hours re-doing orders due to website failures and even had to check out as a guest because their sign-in page wouldn’t load. Then Vitacost refused to offer anything beyond the public 20% promotion anyone can get, despite other customers receiving courtesy credits and personalized discounts for similar issues.

I used so much oatmeal (daily for 20 years) that I purchased mine in large quantities direct from Bob's Red Mill. When they discontinued direct purchase they referred me to Vitacost. Their prices are better than Wal-Mart or Amazon on the items I purchase and I purchase an amount qualifying for free shipping. The quality of packing is incredible -they have it down to a fine art!

The two stars are for the product availability. If you put it in the search bar correctly! If you misspell it or put part of the name and it will say they don't have it when they do. Zero stars for their app which will always show me that I have never made an order and have no order history. Thank God for snapshots! The first order got to the closest FedEx delivery to be loaded on the truck and it got damaged there. Vitacost sent out a replacement after I contacted them so I started waiting all over again. That reissue was supposed to be delivered yesterday and wasn't, and then again today.

I ordered 7 Jason Body Washes and they arrived covered in large sticky tape. Not the tape that doesn't leave a residue that they are supposed to use. 12 hours later after using baby oil scrubbing the body wash containers the whole body washes all 7 are covered in sticky tape residue. I cannot say enough bad things about Vitacost. Poor customer service and packaging and shipping. I am disgusted with them.

I have ordered a few products from this company. The problem is that they send many unwanted emails harrassing me to buy more and more. I have tried many times to stop these emails with no success. It does not work to put them in my spam folder. They just keep coming. I will never buy anything from Vitacost again.

I was really happy that the order came FedEx this time as it had been coming by USPS Ground Advantage since we live in a rural area and have a steep driveway which is too much for our older mail carrier and FedEX or UPS always know where to place the box. When I called Vitacost Customer Service if I paid the extra s/h $19.99 would it come by FedEX he said yes. So when I ordered 8/2/2025 it irritated me when I received the email shipping confirmation and it displayed USPS. So after it arrived I called back Vitacost Customer Service to politely explain what occurred and she said sorry and that the person in their shipping department decides what carrier to use, I would pay extra for FedEX or UPS. Other than that my family has been shopping at Vitacost even before they were named that so it's been over 20 yrs. This is my only real issue I've had and have been highly satisfied with their selection, prices, packaging and customer service.

I was able to order white flour uncontaminated by chlorine (i.e. unbleached) and full-on organic glyphosate-free whole wheat flour at the same time. The price of each was quite reasonable, and the minor detail that tax and shipping nearly doubled my cost was no surprise. Each bag had been sealed inside a large and tough zip-lock bag -- a wise preemptive move. The shipping box arrived crushed on all corners, causing the unbleached flour bag to rupture within its zip-lock bag. No flour was lost, though, and the first batch out of the oven was perfect! To my surprise, on monday, when the full staff is back, I guess, they emailed me that they saw my chat about 1 discount code not working and without me pursuing this any further, they credited my CC for the discount that hadn't gone through. Terrible return process. I had a need to return part of an order that had sat in 100+ degree heat. Capsules with fish oil could become rancid and I'm not paying for that. Vitacost customer service dragged out the return process, which I think can only be attributed to delays designed to prevent my ability to dispute the charges with my credit card. I'm disabled and they refused to issue a call‐tag, telling me I had to print a label and travel to a FedEx retail store to have this shipped back. I don't have a printer, and taxi service for a wheelchair can be a long process--I shouldn't have to pay for that and deal with that.

I have received products that were damaged. I have received products with a very short expiration date. When I request a refund online it says the refund has been processed. I never receive a request for photos or a refund. DISHONEST COMPANY.

VitaCost has charged my credit card 6 times in the last 6 days for an Autoship order they said they didn't receive and are not shipping to me. Customer service was very unhelpful (one person left me on hold for over 10 minutes), didn't offer to reverse the charges, told me I had to dispute the charges with my bank, and would not let me speak with someone who could actually stop the charges from happening again. I had just started purchasing supplements from VitaCost again recently after using them years ago and having a good experience back then. Very disappointing, and I will not be purchasing from them in the future.

Simple math does not work in their program. Don’t trust their math. Go over your bill with the fine tooth cone. Example, 20% off of $30.99 = $6.20. They are saying it’s four dollars. That’s what their program is saying, so they say. I have caught them in their lies. They cannot do simple math. If they’re ripping me off, they’re ripping you off. When they don’t want to answer any questions on the phone the operator kept saying, "Can you hear me?" I answered yes over and over the next time, I said "Yes, you can hear me, you just paused and took a breath." "You heard me," then she says, "Oh I can hear you now." Insane! AI has a horrible report on them. Since these people bought out Vitacost, it’s never been the same. It’s not the same business that it used to be. Just run….

I generally only get one thing from Vitacost…their Edensoy soy milk. It Is the best soy milk in the US. Vitacost always has it in stock, and they always have the best prices on it to be found anywhere, online or retail. In the past, I had some issues with shipping as the cardboard like containers it is manufactured in are susceptible to damage if not handled properly, but after my feedback, Vitacost now sends each container extremely well packed in highly protective individually wrapped and inflatable bubble wrap (must be expensive!)… so no more issues with damaged product.

Did a $400+ order, never arrived, given a tracking number, and later no notification it was not arriving. Find out my account was deleted, order cancelled, never made the purchase past pre-authorization, and if I call they say I will be notified in 72 hours. If I do chat once I give info - they "End Session". Basically unreliable, lost a week, and cannot explain how pissed I am at the no notification and no delivery. I did confirm after the above interactions; the charge never went past Pre-authorization.

We order every couple weeks to buy foods and vitamins that we have to travel far to find. Prices are better than what we can find locally, and products can be fresher. We live about 25+ miles from stores that have some of the products that we like.

I have been ordering from Vitacost for 5 years. I automatically get my products delivered and I can change quantities and products before the cut off for the delivery date. Works for me. I can find things I need at more affordable prices than the health food store and I know if they are carrying it in the right quantity without having to drive 30 minutes away. I found several whole wheat flours without anything else but whole wheat (pictures that show ingredients can be enlarged) for less than $6 and less than $4. Like many others have said here, Vitacost used to be a great company but lately they have been going increasingly going downhill. Firstly they are now selling scammy products which have nowhere near the amount of active ingredients in them that are stated on the bottles (e.g. 'Brocco Max'). Secondly they have gotten VERY FLAKY about their shipping and instead of fixing the problem they've just extended the number of days they say they'll 1) process your order, and 2) ship your order out.

This review is in regard to my last to purchases with Vitacost. All past purchases have been great, with no checkout issues. The selection is wonderful. I am able to find many vegan items that are delicious. Shopping through the site is fine. However, when getting to checkout and using PayPal, the site freezes for every part of the process of going through checkout, and I had to wait and wait for it to unfreeze so I could make the next move. And when it FINALLY gets to the part where PayPal is opened, a higher price is being submitted to PayPal, and a different higher price was submitted several times before, until eventually, the correct price was displayed.

The order was well packed and included the correct contents. It arrived as expected and was left with care. Oatmeal was packaged so as not to dent the containers and the supplement was wrapped to protect the glass bottle.

Supposedly 30% discount code on product I order. Somehow I lose the discount through the checkout or adding and removing items and final order had no discount. There's no automated way to attempt order cancellation and they never respond to your email before deciding to ship the order. Sure would have liked to cancel the order and remake it with the discount code enable before they shipped the error order.

My first order was for white chocolate chips a few months ago, after searching for MONTHS (well, maybe hours???) to find ones that... WERE really chocolate (despite ad labeling on many sources that they were, many had ZERO chocolate) and had good reviews. Perfect. So, 2nd order followed, and today 3rd order. Product quality and even... PRICES for Fancy Stuff have been wonderful, and packaging shows they really care for their products and want them to arrive safely. PLUS, the website is a stress reducer... Where else can you read under product description (sorry for the poor paraphrase), "When we added **, we went to marketing, and they said, 'Well, it's pretty self-explanatory...'" That's just one example of how I was moved to laughter just reading about the products. Great! I recently switched from I Herb to exclusively VITACOST. My reason was the way my items or products were packed and then put into the shipping box. My last 5 orders from I Herb were just tossed into the shipping box with no items that were filled with liquid placed in an outer plastic zip bag. All of these past orders were broken, and the liquids leaked out and filled the shipping box. VITACOST shipping Dept packs item well with extra paper around items and liquids into plastic bags. Normally, I would definitely give Vitacost 5 stars. They have an excellent selection of products at great prices and seem to always have sales going on for even better prices. I only give 3 stars because our last several orders have been poorly packaged causing damage to some of my items. Chips and cookies arrive flattened out with no air and the contents in crumbs. Cereal boxes and tea boxes are crushed or torn. That said, Vitacost is fabulous at returns and replacements, but what a waste of product and the cost of shipping (both in money and to the environment).

The Solgar Advanced Calcium Complex was recommended by our orthopedic doctor after my husband had a dexascan. I was taking a Calcium Citrate supplement but my husband was not taking anything. They used to be ok, now they are scammers using a low-quality shipper who damages the products, never delivers, or delivers damaged products in boxes full of broken glass. Vitacost doesn't immediately make things right, or ever. Ripoff.

They keep canceling orders without notice. This is the second time in the past couple of months. You get an email order confirmation, see it in your order history on your account, then days go by with no shipping confirmation. You look back at your account and the order isn't showing anymore. I don't have time for this anymore. I called about it the first time and they said unspecified problem with payment blah blah but can't give details and wanted me to jump through hoops to get the order resubmitted. I passed and place another smaller order that went through. Now we have another one disappear and I'm done. Life is too short to waste time on this sort of thing. Moving on to other companies.

I ordered a few items but was especially wanting the Eden Soy Milk, unsweetened. It has 12 grams of protein per cup. This is higher than any other soy milk that I have seen. It is great for making soy yoghurt. Vitacost had the best price. I checked out several online and local locations for this milk. Besides their price the packaging was over the top! I have bought this online before from another popular site but have never seen it so well protected for shipping as done by Vitacost. My order arrived in just a few days.

I placed an order with Vitacost. I've used them for years. I looked at my credit card, and there were two charges. This had never happened before. One for the order, and an additional one for the order but six cents higher. When I called, I was told that the total price when ordering is just an "estimate" and if it goes up by the time they fill the order, they put the additional full charge on, and then credit the original order amount back in 7-10 days. Does this seem like it might have something to do with prices changing from tariff's? Has anyone else seen this? I'm truly baffled. And needless to say, won't be ordering from them again.

Very, very slow and pedantic communication. I placed an order for a bag of matcha green tea. 2 weeks later I’m calling them to see where my order is. After 15 minutes of searching for my order as I gave them the order number, they tell me it’s on hold due to needing to verify my info. I told them that I responded immediately to their verification email that they sent days after telling me my order was on its way…. They never checked their email/communications. It’s 2025. To be this slow and this inept in an industry like this is shameful. I won’t be ordering again.

Ordered Hawaiian macadamia chocolates. Product came heat damaged but it's chocolate so I think I be ok😄. Ordered 4 packs of chocolate macadamia nuts. When delivery versed it was evident the product had melted and resolidified.

Vitacost had a rewards points program. When I redeemed my points for 5.00 off my cart, my points were subtracted, but I didn't get the discount. I contacted cust. serv., they sent me another coupon that didn't work either. This company must have been bought by another entity, because their cust. service is poorly trained and ill-informed.
