Worst customer service EVER!! Can't talk to a live person, canceled my order then told me equipment was shipped when shows only a label created, after they canceled my order and won't refund shipping though the company has not currently incurred charges. I've been using BODi for 10 years, I'll be looking for a new platform like many others. It's too bad this company has gone so far downhill from where they started.

Signed up for the 1 month free trial and went to cancel and they still charged my bank account. Then said I was past the 30 days to cancel. Which was not true. Have it all documented. Long story short disputing with my bank. They really went to crap. They are a scam now. And can't get a hold of anyone but by through email and they just blow you off. Beware they are a scam. Used to be legit back in the day. They've literally fired all their coaches. Don't get scammed like they tried to do to me. The 30 day trial isn't free and then they tell you when you try to cancel that doesn't apply to that and then charge you 149 for the year whether you cancel or not then tells you that they can't stop the payment from processing.

    Hi Kevin,

After reviewing your account, we confirmed that on October 6, 2025, you signed up for a 30-day free trial of an annual BODi subscription. When you enrolled, you agreed to the Terms & Conditions, which include automatic annual renewals unless the subscription is canceled.

Since we did not receive a cancellation request before the trial ended, your subscription automatically renewed on November 6, 2025, as expected. The trial period ended on November 5, 2025 (as October has 31 days).

Your subscription has since been cancelled as of November 10, 2025, and you’ll continue to have full access through November 06, 2026. Your account will not be renewed again.

For digital memberships, our 31-day money-back guarantee applies only to initial purchases, not renewals.

BODi (Beachbody) charged my credit card on 10/17/25 without notice, then made cancellation impossible. I cancelled on 10/20, yet there’s no refund, no confirmation, and no working customer-service contact. Every phone number is dead, chat doesn’t load, and their site loops endlessly to nowhere. This feels like an intentional dark-pattern trap to block cancellations and retain unauthorized charges. Totally unethical and likely violates FTC rules on negative-option billing. I’m filing disputes and urge others to avoid this company until they restore real customer service and transparent renewal policies.

    Hello Sandy,

We’ve reviewed your account and confirmed that your annual BODi subscription renewed on October 17, 2025. A pre-renewal email was sent to the email address on file on September 15, 2025, with the subject line: “Your BODi subscription will renew soon.”

Since there was no cancellation request on file prior to the renewal date, your subscription renewed as expected.

We understand you may have experienced issues accessing our chat support, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Your feedback is truly appreciated and will be shared with the appropriate team.

Your subscription has since been cancelled as of October 20, 2025, and you will continue to have access to BODi through October 17, 2026.

Currently, our available support channels are SMS text and chat. Please note that phone support is no longer available.

Horrible now. They added on a $250 subscription to an order for 1 small item.. without my knowledge until I saw it on my bank account. When I attempted to contact them about it they had no phone #, did not listen, not helpful, only online chat, refused to reimburse me. I had to cancel my card and report fraud. They have glitches in their system. Clearly that adds things on to people's orders without any authorization to do so.

    Hello Kimberly,

Thank you for reaching out. We’ve completed a thorough review of your account and contact history, and here’s what we found:

On September 1, 2025, you purchased the Energize Strawberry Lemon package, which included an option to start a 30-day free trial of an annual BODi subscription. During checkout, you were presented with two choices:

“Accept and Start my Free 30-days”

    “No thanks”

It appears that you selected the free trial option. You can confirm this by reviewing your order confirmation email sent on the same day.

Since we didn’t receive a cancellation request before the trial ended, your subscription was automatically renewed on October 2, 2025, as outlined in the offer terms. You later canceled the subscription on October 11, 2025, and you’ll continue to have access to BODi until October 2, 2026.

Please note that our 31-day money-back guarantee applies only to the initial order date. Subscription renewals are not eligible for a refund. You can find more details about our refund policy here:

    https://faq.beachbody.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/259/catid/0/TLP/0.

Beachbody has very unreliable costumer service. You will not be able to speak to someone directly if there is an issue. I made a digital purchase but I realized after the purchase I had entered my email incorrectly. I have been searching the site for a customer service number and it is not to be found. The virtual assistant is not helpful either. When I provide the order number, it redirects me to the order page but the order is not listed there. There is a link that tells you to go to bodisupport.com, but when you click on it, it says "Sorry, the page you are looking for doesn't exist or has been moved." Now I have no way of getting the product I purchased or my money back.

Please save yourself the stress and money loss and do not use this shady company! I purchased a discounted ($39) subscription in August 2024. On August 23, 2025, it was automatically renewed ($193) with no notice. That was a Saturday. On Monday morning, I contacted to cancel. This is the response I received, “The 31-day Money Back Guarantee (MBG) starts on the initial purchase date(08/23/2024) for digital memberships. Renewals are not eligible for refunds.” So I would’ve had to have canceled by September 2024 in order for it to not have auto renewed?! That literally makes no sense!! BODi, formerly known as Beachbody is a company to run from - unless you like to have your money stolen.

    Hello Crystal,

Upon reviewing your account, we have confirmed that on August 23, 2024, you purchased an annual BODi subscription at a significantly discounted rate for your initial term. You were provided the following information during checkout and on your order confirmation email, “After 12 months, you'll automatically continue your BODi Membership for $179 (+ applicable taxes), billed every 12 months in advance to the credit card you provide today, until you cancel.” At that time, you agreed to the Terms & Conditions, which included automatic annual renewals unless the subscription is cancelled. Like most digital subscriptions, renewal happens regardless of usage.

Our system shows that a renewal notice was emailed to you on July 22, 2025, titled “It’s time to keep Loving Your BODi: Renewal coming up”. This included your renewal date, price, and a link to manage your membership. Our records show the email was opened viewed twice on August 23, 2025, the same day as your renewal.

Because there was no cancellation request on file before the renewal date, your subscription automatically renewed on August 23, 2025, as expected.

Please note, your original subscription included a 31-day money back guarantee. Which means you had 31-days after purchase to request a cancellation and refund.

Furthermore, BODi renewals are nonrefundable. Please note that you could have cancelled your subscription at any time prior to renewal via online or by contacting customer support.

Your subscription has since been cancelled as of August 25, 2025, and you’ll continue to have full access through August 23, 2026. Your account will not be renewed again.

Website is forcing me to pay for a new program. Solely seemingly for profit and ran now like a corporation. Forcing individuals to pay to even have a chance of winning 10k, a gimmick all to disappointing and cliché. Today I hopped to rejoin in my P90 program with the goal of 100% winning that 10k. Just like the stereotypical gym memberships, Beach Body uses deceptive business practices to make it impossible to cancel. Remove your credit card information, choose cancel and you'll still be billed. It's totally deceptive. Customer Service is unreachable except via Text. Ridiculous. Corporate office phone numbers lead to a fast busy signal or an option to leave a message.

Add me to the pile of people who heaven forbid were a few days late cancelling and now they refuse to process a refund. Also don't bother posting your usual rebuttal to my comment, it just drives home how uninterested in customer service and satisfaction you are. By the way the website and app are glitchy and the service freezes but you likely have some stupid policy to blame the customer for that too.

Unfortunately, I forgot to cancel the free trial since I was never interested in it until I received a bill from them. I find this very unfair, as the free trial was automatically added to my basket without my consent.

I contacted their support team, and all they said was that they couldn't make an exception because this was part of their terms and conditions. I am very disappointed with my switch to Beachbody; they do not seem to care about their customers. After I finish with this unwanted full access, I will be going back to Les Mills.

Beachbody has become a scam company. Once the most respected company when it came to providing fitness programs for people to work from home. Now, they have this terrible business model where if you are late by even minutes in cancelling an auto-renewed subscription, they refuse to refund you. They will state they sent out a notice of auto-renewal, but of course that doesn't mean anything. Emails can get missed or access can be lost, etc. etc. etc. A servicemember goes out onto a training exercise where they have no access to their personal email and go without that access for weeks, in turn missing this so-called "notification" email because of it? Too bad. "Not our problem", they will say.

And of course, you can't actually talk to a real person on the phone anymore. They know people will miss these emails, and that is what they are counting on. They know people will be unaware of the auto-renew window and will do pretty much nothing (except sending a single email that can be easily missed) to ensure customer knowledge of the pending charge. This company now engages in shady practices meant to pull the most amount of money they can from their customers - taking willing advantage of the fact that humans nowadays have so many things going on in their lives that they easily forget small details - and in turn pad their bottom line.

While their training videos were helpful at first it has been very hard to cancel the membership. I cancelled my membership over 3 years ago and I just got charged again for annual fee without asking for it. So 3 years and they keep trying to renew my membership that I don't want. They said they emailed me saying they'd renew my membership unless I cancelled again. That is stupid and dishonest. So don't join unless you want hassles and want to lose money long term!

I was under the impression I had purchased access to Beach Body for a six month promotional. I did the workouts for six months, and then was done. Three years later, I realized they were sneakily still charging me $200 a year. They have NO customer service number. I found a text message support line, and as soon as they found out I was trying to get a refund from them, they unilateral ended the conversation. I found this to be exceptionally dishonest. Even though the most recent charge was days old, they wouldn't even have a conversation about a refund. I have never received emails warning about impending charges. I understand that companies need to make a profit, but Beach Body seems to have really focused in on profit at the expense of their customers.

In reading other reviews, I see other customers have suffered the same fate. Beach Body will leave counter reviews stating some nonsense about how they actually do reach out to customers to warn them of impending bills, which I believe is a complete lie. If that is the case, why do SO MANY customers state this is not the case?

    Hello Michael,

After conducting a thorough review of your account details and customer service contacts, we were unable to locate any active memberships or subscriptions on your account. If you think that your bank card has been compromised, we strongly encourage you to reach out to your financial institution to report this matter immediately. You may also want to review your account activity and report any unauthorized transactions to your financial institution. Generally, they're able to take the appropriate action to protect your account. If your bank determines that the charges on your account are suspicious and within their policy, they generally have processes to help support you.

Beachbody renews your subscription automatically annually and will claim to have sent you a reminder email along with claiming you read the email but in reality they do not send this reminder, and refuse to send proof of the notification and read receipt. If you try to cancel as a result of this surprise renewal, they refuse to refund your money and will use their auto renewal policy as their defense, even if it's the same day of the renewal. The only way of knowing of the renewal will be your credit card statement. NYS Law Chapter 20 Article 29-BB states a business shall notify a consumer of auto annual renewals 15-45 days of the renewal date and Beachbody does not do this. Look up this law in your state and be sure you don't leave your credit card with this company. There are hundreds of this complaint on this site and the Better Business Bureau website. Hopefully this will catch up with them one day.

I had the same problem with the auto-renew. I could swear I canceled my BODi subscription but they say I didn't. Tried to get money back less than 10 days into it. They refuse. Beachbody: instead of your lame canned response to everyone on here, how about reviewing and changing your unethical, poor business policy? Actually show you care about your customers, who are not robots and keep track of every "box checked" in every online payment. You lost another lifelong customer.

I went online to manage my BODi-On-Demand and cancel services. For some reason it did not get cancelled. When I got my bank statement and noticed it had been renewed automatically I called them. They said it has a 30 day refund policy. It was 2 days past. Only because I didn’t know it was renewed till I received my statement. I appealed the decision. After the appeal they still refused to give me a refund. I cannot and will not support this company anymore and if you have your cc on file with them I would remove it immediately.
