I have been a Starbucks customer for 20 years and for over a decade I have always drank venti caffe mocha with 3 shots of Toffee nut, well few months back they discontinued coffee nut to supposedly replace it with Chestnut praline (I tried it, it was not bad). Now they discontinued that by us (north central Indiana) 2 weeks ago so I seriously have nothing I will drink here now. Dunkin used to be my place but coffee is not as strong, anyone have a good coffee shop alternative? Saddens me, I visited almost everyday for over 10 years. Whoever is in charge of making decisions needs to be replaced. You want to add to menu, great! But to take away something that's been there since the beginning is pretty stupid and losing many customers over it sucks too! Look at the Starbucks Reddit page.

No customer service at all…I had to wait 5 minutes at the counter while five employees milled about smartly. Well one finally did help, she had the personality is Scrooge himself. I said to her that you need to bring back the snowman cookies cause I won’t buy penguins again. Reaction….what ever dude…. Had no cranberry bliss and no idea when they would and didn’t care either. Worst Starbucks ever. No I remember why I stopped going!!!

I use to go to the store on Pine St in Spartanburg every morning and get a venti caramel ribbon crunch no whip extra caramel. Now I don't go at all, they never get it right. Taste like ice cold milk with caramel. Emily was the only one that would get it right.

I have never been to this location in Scappoose Oregon. 52001 Columbia River Hwy Scappoose, OR 97056. I ordered a cup of coffee and a breakfast pastry for over $6. My coffee was drank about 1/3rd down and I walked up to the counter and asked if I could have a top off and the answer was No, it's only for Goldcard members. There was no offer to heat it up or just give a complimentary top off, just no sorry about that. This is unbelievable that for over a $3 cup of coffee that she couldn't even top it off for me without being a privileged member. They do not have to have good customer service or treat us special as the company of Starbucks is filthy rich and so what is it to say no to me. I am not important. They do not have to be kind to me as if I never come back, they still prosper. It's such a monopoly. Kindness and inclusion would be give the senior lady a 1/3 cup top off.

I have been a customer for many years, even before moving to Washington 12 yrs ago. Moving to Camano 6 yrs ago allowed me to attend the Stanwood shop by QFC. In the last couple of years I've been purchasing more regularly and have enjoyed the great staff, especially Logan and several others who are there or have left who always greeted me happily and several of the staff even got to know the details of my drink - which was so great. I felt like Norm from the old TV show 'Cheers.'
About a month ago there was a new staff on who seemed to get flustered about the details of the order and out of nowhere he snapped at us via the microphone accusing of saying something negative and wasn't responsive when we asked what was going on. When we go to the window it was even more clear that he was frazzled and seemed to be nervous. He continued in his rude manner, so we got our drinks and left. My friend went in the next day to complain to the manager and spoke with the staff that has rainbow hair.
Since then the rude staff was sugary sweet to us. Then on Friday 11/15 we went to the driveway and provided my order then explained that we had a clean Starbucks cup and the order that that drink. All of a sudden the rude worker came on the microphone stating that we were being refused service and I couldn't understand what he was saying. We went to the window to try to understand what was going on. The girl that was trying to take our order stated "I'm sorry, I don't know what's going on." The the rude on came over abruptly and appearing very upset stating that we "have been rude to staff, at least once a week."
We returned that evening to try to make sense of what happened by speaking to a manager. We were not greeted when we came in and the staff would not make eye contact. The rainbow haired girl stated she couldn't serve us and couldn't explain why. Then stated that we'd been rude to staff and how my friend cursed at them as well. This is liable, those statements are not true. When asked to repeat what things were said, she refused stated "I'm not going to repeat those words. I've never been so insulted as I was that day, especially being such a regular who about once per week put $100 on my card. I will not be spending any money at that Starbucks EVER. I also caution others with melanin in their skins to BEWARE. I wish the nice, and courteous staff well.

Over the course of a year I have gone out of my way for service, accuracy, and consistency in product delivery. Up to this point I would avoid the other store near my home due to an overall poorly delivered product. Since the last couple of months, I have experienced scathing errors in order and/or stratospherically disappointing taste discrepancies in product experience. If oat milk is ordered beware of almond milk. If a caramel crunch frappuccino is orderd instead expect a pumpkin drink. Maybe your thinking, "Oh I'm sure it's just a one off," well I'll have you know that I have already front loaded that alternative for you; Spoiler alert no it isn't just a one off. That is the only consistency with this store which is to deliver an unexpected and undesirable product wasting a patron's time and money.

I think Starbucks should rethink their choice of CEO. Since Howard Schultz left Starbucks there has been an increase in inconsistency storewide. Several of these issues is the lack of consistent policies about Starbucks brand, services, and cards--specifically GOLD Cards. These cards were sent out years ago to loyal customers and they are able to track rewards add money and receive discounts. Discrimination occurs when a store says they can't accept a Starbucks Gold Card or number, or the poorly trained staff and even so called managers do not know how to input Gold Card information to pull up these long time Loyal Starbucks customers. Most of these customers own some stock in Starbucks through their 401ks or other retirement or stock Initiatives.
The poorly trained staff and management who all are NEVER on the SAME POLICY PAGE creates the endless cycle of calling Corporate speaking to customer and community relations VP, to Regional Managers calling customers vowing to retrain their staff on Gold Cards, Pets on Patio Policies, Rewards Values, Policies on Refills for Gold Card Members. These inconsistencies make for the WORST Customer Experience. With so many stores --Starbucks Needs Consistency in its treatment of customers and execution of standard policies (ex Gold Card) across all stores. Customers should never leave a store thinking --- now here is a store where the NEW Staff and Staff Turn Over know nothing about customers who have been customers for over 25 yrs.

As a 20 year veteran patron of Starbucks, having visited their stores all over the U.S. on a regular basis, I can honestly say with some considerable authority that Starbucks is a terrible company. From repeated wrong orders, to the recent drive by them to make their stores less hospitable, I am always leaving their stores with some sense of disappointment.
I have made essentially the same exact order at probably 50 different stores over the past few decades and somehow, a simple order is presented to me in the wrong size, or iced, and on some occasions a different beverage entirely. Not to mention the prevalent problem of cashiers asking if I want a snack warmed, me saying no, and 3 minutes later getting a warmed snack item. THAT happens about 30% of the time.
The baristas are mostly not friendly. They need to hire habitually, pathologically friendly baristas, not the sullen, introverted, anti-social people they've been hiring. This is a service industry, after all, yes? Their customers are paying the several hundred percent markup on food and beverage items, so is it too much to ask for friendly service?
Another thing I noticed is Starbucks in many areas are removing power outlets in their seating areas and also even removing seating. I visited one store that I used to frequent regularly after being away for 3 years and they had removed the sink in the one and only restroom where they once had 2 restrooms. One was changed to an employee only restroom.
And then there's the issue of inventory ALWAYS being out, and for some reason it then becomes a wild-goose-chase to manually look for more of a snack item. It's absurd. I would roll up to drive thrus at different stores, ask for a snack item, and they'd always say "let me check," then go walk around checking various nooks for the item.
Starbucks apparently hates chocolate. They have been slowly phasing out chocolate based snack items and that baffles me. Triple chocolate cake, gone, Dark chocolate covered graham crackers, gone. Chocolate dipped madeleines, gone. Chocolate covered almonds, gone. I despise Starbucks and if there was an alternative, I would not hesitate to patronize it.

Sacramento CA. Greenback Lane Starbucks store. This has never happened before. I always get coffee once a day at the Starbucks store. It turned out that the same amount had already been debited from my debit card twice. My bank said that everything was fine on their part and the problem was in the Starbucks store. When I noticed the second time, the store employee tried to object to me vaguely, but the money was written off and remained. I am outraged and discouraged.

I hadn't been to SB in years. When I drove up it looked closed in the middle of the day because there were no people, and no cars. No nonfat milk $6:75 for a small Frappuccino and the first thing the cash register asked for was a tip. As I waited, I watched a FLY fly into the cabinet where the girl said " that particular food was not distributed to customers." Then I heard a loud call from the open bathroom door "look what I have to clean up..." As my mind started imagining the horrors in the men's room, I took the warm Frapichinio that no one said was ready and sat at a dirty table where one electrical outlet had been uncovered and I plugged into that outlet as that was my original plan. I think I am going to try the new place down the street. The Human Bean.

The fruit drink is tasteless and not worth A dollar much less than five dollars for a tall drink. It was nothing but a little bit of sugar water, a whole lot of ice and little buttons of juice that were next to tasteless. Every customer who’s ever order it deserves their money back if they had the experience of taste that it delivered to me.

Senior budgets don't allow for this luxury any longer. And, I don't want to pay more to cover free drinks. I haven't go around to measuring yet but that cup in my hand feels a little smaller. Rant. Funny thing happened in Starbucks today. Customer orders a drink the drink is over filled and coming out of the hole in the top of the cup. Customer picks up drink and drink spills. Customer looks around for help and is ignored so customer takes drink and leaves. Barista runs out of store after him screaming, “Thanks for making a mess for me to clean up.” I guess that’s now what Starbucks considers good customer service because she did say please. I bet she's exactly the one that puts the tip jar on the counter every morning.
Of course none of that explains why at half the Starbucks I go to the skinny vanilla lattes now taste like **. But you can bet I wasn’t going to ask that witch to remake it. I just tossed it and added the location to my list of ones I’ll never go to again. The list is getting pretty long. I wish a decent coffee shop would get a drive through so I could be done with Starbucks for good.
