I ordered A LG thin crust with 3 toppings a garlic sauce and was charged for the sauce and I didn't receive sauce. Pizza sauce terrible. I hardly had any Canadian bacon. The pizza was dry and expensive. I won't order again.
Papa John's is charging customers for basic condiments.. 25 cents for red pepper packs, 54 cents for Garlic sauce.. paper plates and Napkins.. I believe this is only in certain Areas “Hood” because I’ve never experienced this before.. I need answers!
It's really annoying when the call center mess up your order EVERYTIME you order from here. The representatives cut you off when you're trying to customize your order (which is probably why they get the order wrong in the first place). And I don't appreciate the word play asking, "If you'd like garlic dipping sauce with your order?" Of course I want the garlic dipping sauce that comes with my pizza! BUT NO....NO I DO NOT WANT TO PURCHASE AN EXTRA GARLIC DIPPING SAUCE!!! And here's a tip for customers, ALWAYS ask the representative to find you a special to lower the price of your order. $33 FOR 1 LARGE 1 TOPPING PIZZA AND A 10 INCH CHEESY BREAD??? (10 inch is the small option. 12 inch is the bigger option.) And that's carryout price. Stop being so greedy and rude are my requests and suggestions on how you can improve. Thanks.
Papa John's was my favorite 15 years ago. I ordered at least one per month. Somewhere along the way, something changed so I quit ordering Papa John's. I've gotten 2 pizzas in the last year to give them a couple more chances. Both were inedible. The crust is now a weird hybrid of thin, tough, and spongy, and the bottom of the crust is orangish brown. (OMG! Why? What is that?) Toppings are also much fewer than before. If I order a topping I expect more than 5 pieces of that topping on the pizza. Sorry papa. I'm completely done with you now. Your pizza is too gross to purchase. It's not worth $2.99 let alone $16.99! Even Totino's is better.
Took my order, said it was on the way. Then cancelled it but still charged me for the pizza.. I'm working overnight with no food. Thanks for nothing. I want my money back!. If you couldn't make the order why take my money!
Ordered 1 large thin crust pepperoni and hamburger and an order of wings. I think I got sparrow wings because they were so small for $11.99. I should have ordered a cheese pizza, where's the meat. There is more meat on a convenience store pizza. The only thing good was the liter of Pepsi. Papa's really has gone downhill.
Placed order at Long Street. Took an hour to deliver and on top of that I didn't get my complete order. Manager did not want to make it right. This place has the worst customer service. I'll just stick to Marco's pizza.
Online ordering was easy. The products however were of such poor quality the majority ended up in the garbage. It was obvious that one pizza was not freshly baked. It was a Tuscan 6 cheese pizza. Dry crust that was likely reheated. Terrible! The other pizza was a pepperoni and sausage 6 cheese pizza. Sausage tasted stale. The entire pizza was so greasy that everything just slid right off when you tried to pick up a slice. None of us could even finish a piece. The place was closed so I was unable to call and make a complaint. I just cut my losses, put them in the garbage, and prayed none of us would be sick from what we had eaten. Never again will Papa John's get any of my money. If this is what their products have become I don't see them lasting in the overcrowded pizza marketing world. There are just too many other better choices to purchase from. This little pizza disaster happened 03/13/2022.
I order my style pizza. I’m from NYC so I wanted to try it. They gave me old pizza that allegedly just came out the oven and was not even hot. The toppings were scant and were falling off the pizza because they threw toppings on top of old cheese pizza. It was ready in 5 min, that was the first clue. It also tasted terrible with very little CHEESE. This is an insult to use NY name for this mess. I would like my refund.
This happened a while ago now but here it goes. I ordered a largge pizza from them and this was a delivery I paid with cash. Now I don't buy pop from them because it is expensive. I live beside a dollar store. Back to the review the driver said he had no money and had to go to the store to get money so I waited. 20 minutes goes by and still nothing so I called the store and was told the driver was on his way with another delivery and will drop the money off then ps he didn't. Ten more minutes goes by and still nothing so I call again and am told the same thing. He is on another delivery and will drop it off then. At this time 45 minutes goes by and I'm pissed so my dad came to my room and said, "Give me your phone" so I do. He calls the store up and threatened to call the police and have the driver arrested for theft if he is not here in 5 minutes. That driver got there so fast. He got there in a minute flat, tried to apologize but I told him to shut up.
There is no reason to steal a tip of a loyal customer. Will never order again. This is what Papa John's is now. Stupid scammers who need to just quit. I used to work there and the pizza before was so good. The crust was perfect size. It was not flat like it is now. Fix your ** or the store we all used to love will go under. STOP SCAMMING THE CUSTOMERS. DELIVERY IS NOT A EXCUSE FOR YOU TO STEAL TIPS OFF OF CUSTOMERS. GROW UP.
Horrible service. Placed an order online, received confirmation and delivery time. Papa tracker said on it's way. Then the tracker said cancelled. Called store to find that they cancelled our order after we waited near!y an hour.
I have been enjoying Papa John's pizza for better than 20 years and I loved eating their pizza. On 02/20/2022 I decided to surprise my wife who loves Papa John's as much as I do with pizza. I took one bite of the pizza and I did not finish eating the piece. I got the Pizza from the Papa John's in College Station, Tx. Off Rock Prairie Road. I wish the recipe would not have changed.
I know that is only .71 cents, but the special for the NY Style says that you will get a pie for $13.00 with one topping. Introducing NY Style Pizza $13. This is what the bill looks like - judge! I've never ordered Papa John's pizza before but I decided to try it cause New York style pizza it would yeah. El pizza it was the worst pizza I ever had in my life. Never mind being New York style. What a waste of money.
I’m from NJ and this pizza is a joke, no resemblance to NY pizza at all. Almost 40$ for 2 pizzas and I was so disappointed. It is not as big as advertised and it doesn’t taste any different than their normal pizza.
I ordered Papa John’s today and what I received was the most disgusting pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was rubbery and the sauce was bitter. I took one bite, regretted it and threw the pizza right in the trash. Never again!!!!
We ordered the New York style with pepperoni, mushrooms and extra cheese. We chose carry-out. The pizza was cold and the crust was old and stale. It was so stale, the crust couldn't even be sliced all the way through. There were only 2 pepperonis on each slice and I counted eight mushroom pieces on the entire pie. Never again, Papa John's!!!
Ordered a cheese and tomato pizza with onion and pineapple for my vegetarian daughter. Pizza arrived with ham on it!! The lady on the phone said she would correct the mistake and get another one out to me but didn’t really understand the seriousness of sending out a meat pizza to a vegetarian. The meat eaters in the house do not eat pork - so the error was a BIG mistake!! Funny thing is - this is the second time it’s happened. I’ve put a complaint in to the manager who was not on duty at that time and I was told that I would get a call regarding my complaint. Let’s see if they bother!
Updated on 01/01/2021: The day after my horrible experience with Papa John's, I reached out to the customer service department informed them of what happened. I was told they would contact me regarding, 10 days later I still haven't heard anything from them. They suck too.
Original: I waited 4 hrs for my order that I still did not receive, after calling spoke with store manager who asked me what was my point after I informed him of how long I had waited and if I could get compensated for the wait time. I was furious. Will NEVER order anything from them again. And recommend my my family and friends not to do the same.
I have ordered from Papa John's for some time now, seems each time the prepared pizza gets worse and worse. Why aren’t the people who prepare the pizza shown how to properly put one together? They throw the ingredients in piles. Sometimes you get what you ask for. Most of the time not. From now on I will make my own and try to promote families to get their children involved in the making one from their home. This allow families to come together once or twice a week, something they will start looking forward to. Families need to start doing things together at home more often, it gives the children a sense of feeling complete and confident in their lives. I hope people who read this can get the message I am trying to send.
I am a caregiver to two disabled ladies. They love Papa John’s so I order it for them once a week usually on Fridays from the Georgetown Road location in Indianapolis. The ladies I care for do not own debit cards so they pay for everything with cash. I am diligent on obtaining receipts for the ladies for their records. The last three times I have ordered from the Georgetown Road location, I’ve paid cash in the first two times. They claim the receipt printer is not working so they were unable to give receipts. I noticed on my app I did not receive my papa rewards points. Upon calling I was informed the order was canceled. I paid cash for both orders.
This last time I visited was December 14. Again I paid cash and received my order and left. I received a receipt and I have proof of purchase. The employees once again canceled my order so I have not been receiving any of my papa‘s rewards points because the employees are canceling cash orders to keep the cash and make it look like the customers are canceling their orders or getting orders for free. I called the store and the manager refuses to call me back. I called corporate and they were less than helpful.
I will not be returning to this location. The employees are thieves and if this is the way Papa John’s does business I will take my business elsewhere. How incredibly deceitful take people's money and not give them rewards points for the program they are enrolled in. Shame on you Papa John’s. I will be taking their business to Domino's and I will let everyone in this area know what’s going on at that location.
2 hours and 45 minutes delivery time!!! We only live about 2 miles from their The manager Mick or Nick kept assuring us the delivery person was 5 minutes away. They always say the driver couldn't find our address and tried to call but no one answered, lies, no one called our phones and they have delivered to our home numerous times! So almost 3 hrs later when the pizzas showed up, we turned down their "free pizzas" offer and sent the pizzas back. Our kids were so hungry by 9pm, we had to find other means for dinner. We will never use Papa John's again. Management needs to do something! There are numerous other reviews from customers with same complaints. The location was the one on Military Highway at George Washington Highway.
I order at 5:47 pm and did not show up till 7:30 pm. When I paid for 50.37 for pizza it should be hot and on time but it ended up being late and ice cold. I am disappointed, will not me ordering for a while.
I ordered from our local Papa John's Pizza and the next day I received a survey to complete online. I completed the survey and was sent a promo code for a free papadias to use on my next online order for filling out the survey. When I tried to use the coupon promo code on my next order I got an error message saying that the promo code was not valid so I called customer service and they told me that the code was not valid at my Papa John's as they did not participate in that promotion. Why sent me the survey and the promo code that was not valid??? WASTE OF TIME!!!
I'm a DoorDash driver who was assigned two simultaneous Papa John's deliveries last night. Neither of the dashes showed that the customer gave a tip. However one of the customers told me he did when he ordered online, and the other pizza order went to a very friendly, wealthy family who I suspect also left a tip online. I just think it is flat out evil that one of these companies is keeping the tip money and lining their own pockets with it, while the poor driver gets ripped off. I just needed to write this so that you people who order pizzas and let Papa John's use DoorDash to deliver them know what is going on with your money!!
The other day I ordered a pizza and there was an issue with the system (was probably user error), and the incorrect order was delivered to me. Once I realized it was wrong the delivery guy gone, and I had to contact the store directly. A guy named Matt answer the phone and was very pleasant and empathetic to my situation. Now this was not my first encounter with someone from this particular Papa John's, so I was expecting a tug of war match. I was very surprised to hear that it was not a big deal and Matt was going to have a pizza over as soon as he found a driver. This was something that I greatly appreciated considering I have had bad experiences before, so I just wanted to take the time and share this experience I had with Matt. Thanks Matt, you rock!
First no answers the phone after 6 times trying then when they do they are rude as hell. Second they don’t care if they sell a pizza or not, they just hang up the phone in the middle of a conversation. SUCKS.
I ordered a cheese pizza with pineapples and found meat in my pizza. This is the second time this has the same store location on state street in Perth Amboy, NJ. I have special religious diet restrictions and I don't eat pork and both times pork was found in the pizza and all the manager can do is apologize. This is not acceptable. This is a serious matter that should not be taken lightly. The manager never does anything. How does pork end up in a pineapple cheese pizza? How do you make the same mistake twice to the same people? Sounds like maybe a lawyer needs to be involved.
Went in to pay and pick up my order. Pd, they didn't have the 20 oz drinks. They finally corrected price in register. Had me pay again. Asked what about 1st pay, said would auto return. 1 week NOT yet!
The Xenia Ohio Papa John's pizza location is horrible! I placed online an order for a X-large pizza in which I paid for with my debit card. Papa John's called me and said they are out of large and x large pizza dough. They would refund me in 5 days. Yeah right. It’s 9:30 at night and we are starving. She didn’t offer anything else. I told her to call the supervisor and have her call me. Then the girl who says she’s the manager calls me back and tells me her supervisor is on the way with the dough and I would have my pizza by 11PM. 10:30 comes around and I call to find out when our pizza would be here. They then tell me they already refunded me the money and if I wanted a new pizza I had to order a new one. So unprofessional. No compensation, no discount for the inconvenience nothing. I also forgot to mention that the first “manager” literally hung up the phone when I told her that we should have as many small pizza dough that they did have in stock that would be equal to a x large at the same price. I will never order from here again!!! They are miserable at customer service!!!!
