My mother used to go through Speedy Cash. She referred me to them. I've been with Speedy Cash for a couple of years now. Their customer service was excellent. I was impressed that the information was given about how it works. The person I dealt with was very good at explaining everything and how it goes. The store that's close to me now, sometimes, is a little slow. It's like fewer people work there. It'll be a couple of people and it'd be kind of crowded. That's not all the time though. Plus the service is great.

I looked Speedy Cash up in an online search. I decided to complete the transaction by visiting their store in person, as it seemed the most convenient option for me. My interaction with the staff was quite satisfactory—they were all right, efficient, and did their job well. What impressed me the most was how easy it was to get in and out without much hassle. If I had to express my sentiment, I'd say Speedy Cash proved to be a solid choice overall.

I submitted my application in person at Speedy Cash, but over the years, I discovered the convenience of applying online.
My experience with their customer service, particularly at the Gretna, Louisiana location, has been nothing but positive. The staff is always friendly and I enjoy chatting with them when I visit.
The application process for Speedy Cash is quick, especially online, where I usually get an immediate response. Funds can either be ready for pickup or deposited the next business day. Throughout my interactions with Speedy Cash, they've been transparent, explaining every detail of the contract.
I've always felt fairly treated, and my overall experience is excellent.

The first time I heard about Speedy Cash was through someone. I decided to visit them, and their service was satisfactory. The process was quick; I believe they called me back the very next day to notify me about my loan qualification, but it's been some time and I'm not too sure about the details. I didn't have any standout issues with their representatives or service; however, one thing that several others and I noticed was the repayment policy. At Speedy Cash, you have to pay everything back at once, unlike some other services where you can make installments.

I applied online with Speedy Cash, which then directed me to a store to finalize the process. This wasn't my first time using their services—it's about the fifth—and they truly live up to their name with a quick process!
The only thing I have a problem with is if I pay it off and I go back and try to get that same amount, it'd be a different amount that I have to pay back. It'd be a higher amount. Despite this, my overall experience has been largely positive.

Will NOT accept my proposed payment arrangement. Made the suggestion of $50 a month for two months immediately followed by over $670 for two months even though my original payment plan was under $45 a month. Said collections will continue EVEN IF I PAY $50 a month. Talk about illegal debt collection practices.

I took out a loan with Speedy Cash, and the loan went through fine, but when I went back to the account I had made with them, I found that they had billed me for another loan, which I had not done. If I had not checked my account, Speedy Cash would have withdrawn more funds from my account. I have had a difficult time getting this charge off my account. Beware; they were not going to notify me about them withdrawing my funds.

I can't believe so many negatives on Speedy Cash. 3 of my family members use it! None of us have ever had a problem! I do it online. Money goes in, money goes out! Never any problems and super easy Super fast. Never had to wait for money. There in a flash! I am no family member or friend, just someone who runs out of money and needs the extra help before end of month!

I was told that my payment was due on the 30th of each month but really it was due every two weeks! I spoke with a lady on the phone and she helped me set up my loan. All the information I got was from her! Which is why I got the loan in the first place! I was lied to in order to get my business. This is a scam and I do not recommend that anyone uses this service!

Today 8/12/24 was wrongfully done by ** manager, facts are for past two years have faithfully got 15 installment loans from Speedy Cash i10 federal 883. I’ve showed all my proof documents of income and they have all my info, facts are they weren’t faithfully trying to do business or help me with bare min loan amount and don’t appreciate being disrespected and the manager and employees were very rude, mean and were profiling and trying judge book by cover but never even read but just wanted write, submit complaint as well that lady needs be fired for trying cause trouble and humiliated me in public and wasted 5 hours of my day.
Good news is when she was being unnecessary mean trying get me out character I’ve remained cool, calm, collective and immediately called corporate and they witnessed the lady mistreating Customers and that a complaint has also been submitted to Better Business Bureau and if this don’t get resolved I will be forced to hire a civil attorney and pursue in civil courts because someone wasn’t faithfully doing their job or faithfully trying help anyone. Just don’t want this to happen to any other man or woman that’s why I am coming forward and bring all wrongful doings and Misbehavior of Speedy Cash management to light of BBB and Speedy Cash Corporate office.

I have had an account with Speedy Cash since 2018. My limit went from 300 up to 1500 over the years, which made my payments go up to $307/month. I have always paid on time; never have been late or missed a payment. This month my car broke down and I needed to come up with several hundred dollars for repairs. I work in our local school system and get paid by the month, so I don't have a high income. I contacted speedy Cash before my due day on the 20th about possibly having a payment deferred for a month, or just some type of relief help, and was told since it wasn't late yet I should contact the corporate office.
When I called corporate they had my birth date wrong in their account, so they couldn't talk to me about it since the birthday I was saying didn't match up with what they had. They told me to go to my local branch which is in another city. I could not get there that day due to my car, and contacted the local branch again on the 20th, which was a Saturday...Still no help. So I paid $50, which is the minimum amount due according to my account on their website. Two days later (today, which is Monday) I woke up and checked my bank account and was under by $260. Not only did they not help me at all, but they screwed me over worse. Not to mention I pay $307/month on a $1,500 loan. People should take heed from all these bad reviews. A small sum of money is not worth what this company will do to you in the long term.

I paid Speedy Cash back two days early. I went and applied for another loan and it's been 4 days and they still haven't sent me my money but they're saying I owe money but I haven't received it. They are scam.

I have been steady using Speedy Cash. They are a scam. All of a sudden they can take my payment but can't give me a loan. Nothing has changed on my end. They are trying to tell me I need to change bank accounts and they can no longer provide me with a loan to my account. They at the same time had no problems with taking their payment from this account today though.

Speedy Cash is ok, but expensive, especially if you apply for the loan that they offer you through first fin credit. They don't explain that you can get a check printed out, that you can take to your own bank to cash for free. I was charged $37.50 to cash a check from them at the store, but the associate didn't ask me if I wanted my check cashed there before taking upon herself to cash it. Then when you make the payment back on your loan, it charges you $75 extra to make the payment.

Speedy Cash is a scam disguised in legitimate business. They will rip you off. How? The money you pay toward paying your loan, 98% of that goes towards interests, while still accruing interest daily. So No matter how you pay the balance increases, which you tried to pay off, but the extremely high daily APR 600% catches with you so you hardly see that balance decrease. Because they want to keep you stuck so they can keep making money off of you. They are the worst payday loan you can deal with. Please stay away. They use fake reviews to attract their customers. They are sharks after your blood. Stay away from this establishment.

THEY LEAVE MISLEADING VOICEMAILS - they say you have a loan application in process and when you call them back to find out more information - they will try to get any personal information including your social security number. THEY ARE THE SCAMMERS! They are the worst of the worst in trying to scam you for money. Stay far away from these people - they would scam their own grandparents if given the opportunity.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Worst loan company ever. If I can rate this company a 0 I definitely would!!! They overall don't put their customers first and help them out. I was paying 75 dollars a month for about 3 months and it stayed at the same amount. I was then told 8 dollars was going to principal. And the rest to interest and then on top of that it’s a 5 dollar charge a day just don’t do it they scam!!

I took out a loan for 700, now I’m paying back over 2000. These people are cons and crooks ripping off people. This makes no sense to charge people this much back on a 700 dollar loan. Almost 400 a month. I’m getting me an attorney. I believe that they are taking an advantage of people. If you need a loan this is not the place to do business. Go to Net Pay Advance. True statement. I stand on it. After this I’ll be closing my account with these money grabbers.

Are you Speedy Cash card holder? Green.com to shop online for Christmas. It’s been a disaster. Someone stole my car and used $500 on it. Green.com stopped every transaction that he ran on credit so the money wasn’t ready taken out my account. I had to follow what’s called a dispute online and a dispute takes up to 14 days on their website. That’s a lie. They told me it could take up to 90 working days, which is really four months, customer service is horrendous. They hang the phone up in your face at any time. They’re very rude. They try to over talk you and one by the name of Jose told me to shut up while he was talking because I asked him why was I told that I would receive my money on January 2 and he didn’t happen. I was told by Cesar who worked there and one other agent who worked there that I would get my money on January 2 because everything was straight. All the paperwork was in order and there’s nothing to dispute.
I called today to find out why I still haven’t got the money and Jose tells me that my account has been suspended because they going to use the full 90 working days to investigate the claim, there’s nothing to investigate. Stopped every transaction. They know who stole it. I sent you your proper documents. I sent them a picture of the person who stole the card that the store released to me. I think the purpose of them keeping your money for four months is to gain interest off of it before they give it back to you. That’s what this whole game is about, this company is a scam. Do not use them. If you don’t believe me, call the customer service and see how you get treated, they will lie to you. Tell you something is gonna happen.
They overnighted me a card, charge me $30 without my permission and then mail me another one in the same week They took $30 out of my account without my permission and I had to file a dispute for my $30 they took. It can take 90 days, really four months and it was their agent who took the money off of my account, expedited me a card overnight that I didn’t ask for. It didn’t come overnight. It came a day before the card that he said be in the mail. They will tell you anything to get off the phone with you. If they can’t answer question they’re gonna accidentally hang the phone up, I just got accidentally hung up on five minutes ago.
I’m write this letter that I’m writing right now because I asked why was my so-called dispute extended for the 90days. This is a scam. This is the most horrendous company I’ve ever seen in my life. I beg anybody please do not use this company. Look at their reviews. They are true. I swear on my mother's grave, they are true. Everything in there is true. They are rude to hang the phone up in your face, Jose and the dispute department today told me to shut up while he was talking and I supposed to be a customer. I speedy cash for this speedy cash. I blame you and I would never do business with you again because of that cardholder service. I took a loan for my 96 years Mom for emergency, for $1005, in the month of June so, the first payment was on July. I was paying 281.40 for 5 months. My understanding that, I will be paying 281.40 till it's paid off. But it was not the case. So I wrote the summary of my loan which is for 5 months payments but at the last due date payment was suppose to be in December in the amount of $1,286.40. SO since I wrote it down, I didn't have to keep on checking on their website till the last due date. I realized that the amount listed in the due date was different from what I wrote down. So I called them and asked them, They put me on hold for the longest time till someone finally talked to me and told me that, that's what I was signing for, therefore that I will be paying for the amount of $1335.11.
I explained it to the person that, the very moment I took the loan out of desperation I wrote what I was expected to pay. The person who I talked to insisted that That was what I was signing for and there's nothing that he can do. I would never recommend this company to anybody, they are taking advantage of people who are desperate in need of emergency. I pray that this company will get what they deserves one day, and that they will get the worst karma. I despise this company. For $1005 loan you are paying 281.40 X5=1,407. and Add the last payment of $1,335.11 = I was paying the total amount of $2,742.11 for the loan of $1005. I was disgusted with this company And I am cursing them, Hopefully they will get the worst karma forever!! Never ever again!!

Speedy Cash takes the fees and interest and don't put anything towards the principal. My payment were 77.53 biweekly and they are taking more than the minimum amount without authorization even if you withdraw ach authorization. Do not use this company. They are rip offs.

My daughter, who has a traumatic brain injury, took out a $200 loan from Speedy Cash one month ago. After only 4 weeks she now owes them $310. Yesterday, I tried to pay off this loan using multiple methods but have thus far been unable to pay it. I first tried to pay it on their website using my bank card. It wouldn't go through because my bank put a "fraud alert" on it. I spoke to my bank and they lifted the alert. Tried to pay it several more times online and it still wouldn't work. Tried using my Visa card. No luck. Mastercard. Nope. American Express. Same. I finally called Speedy Cash customer service and tried to pay over the phone. They would not accept any of my payment methods. I asked if they would accept a prepaid card and they said they "might" if it has the Visa logo! This loan increases by $10 every 2 days so I want to get rid of it asap so I go buy the Visa prepaid. I go to the website and enter the info and, again, they won't accept it!!!
By this time I have spent several hours trying to pay these people and it is now 5:45pm. I will call them one more time tomorrow morning and if they don't accept this prepaid card, they can forget it. My daughter's credit is shot anyway so what's one more ding. If they put a bad mark on her credit report, I will write an explanation to go with it. I think we have done everything possible to pay this loan. I've used 2 bank accounts, 5 credit cards and 1 prepaid card. Speedy Cash has no office anywhere near us (over 500 miles away) so we can't pay cash. What else can we do? I really think they aren't accepting a pay off because they want to keep charging us their ridiculous amount of interest, and the longer they keep us on the line, the more we owe. I hope these people will some day be put out of business. They are obviously crooks and preying on desperate people.

Please exhaust ALL of your options before even thinking about taking out a loan from them. They do not provide borrowers with adequate information before signing the contract because if they did, they would be out of business. If I had known my initial loan of $2,190 would end up costing me $4,600, I would have never in my life taken this loan out, no matter how desperate I was. I have been paying $370 worth of CAB fees monthly that... Get this, does not even go toward my balance. CAB fees only "keep the loan open." They are disgustingly predatory and prey on desperate people who feel they have no other options. Please do your research; Speedy Cash has also had several lawsuits due to its relentless APRs and predatory nature.

It has been a week now back and forth on hold 10,000 different times every day trying to resolve this or cancel the loan I never received! But as of today Speedy Cash says I owe $300 when my loan comes due on money I NEVER RECEIVED! They keep telling me they are “looking into it”.

Please be aware that Speedy Cash will pre approve you for a loan initially. Then they will request verification of everything except the color of underwear you’re wearing and when you've provided them w/ your birthright, they will tell they still need more info…. True scam artists….

I've used them for a while in a pinch. Over a week ago I applied for $200. They asked for access to my bank and for proof of income. Nothing. I applied again. Same thing, no response and the app disappeared. I messaged them many times and was finally told the loan has to be finished in 48 hours or the application is discarded. I applied 5 times. No reason for it to not be completed. They just stopped responding. Will never use them again. There are too many other options. I suggest you go elsewhere too!

Please, do not use this company. I took out a 1,000 dollar loan from Speedy Cash in February with plans to pay it off within a month. Fast forward two weeks after I take my loan out, I go to make my first payment and get an error message stating that my account cannot be accessed. Now it is May, I have sent 11 emails and made 8 calls attempting to fix my account and make my payments. My loan is now at 1800 dollars because of interest, when it wouldn’t have gained hardly any had speedy cash not stolen from me and made it to where I was not able to make payments, and don’t worry, it gets better!!!
May 8th gets here and I receive a notice that I will be sent to collections and my credit damaged if I do not pay, so I call speedy cash frantically trying to prevent this. I reference my emails, 11 emails that each detail that I cannot access to my account and that I cannot make payments but am trying, all while also begging, in all 11 emails, not to send me to collections because I am trying to pay. The customer service rep that I spoke to on May 8th gets all of my information and reviews my account. She advises me there is an issue with my login and it may be best to make my payment over the phone to avoid any confusion, then we could deal with the account after.
3 months I made contact 18 times. It took 3 months and 18 communications begging to be allowed to make payment for someone to finally tell me that I could pay over the phone. I had no clue this was an option as I would think that giving card numbers over the phone would be a security issue. KEEP READING, it somehow gets so much worse I promise.
On my 8th, the customer service rep and I agreed to do my payment over the phone and she got everything ready and was prepared to take my card number. I grab my wallet and open it, no debit card, I had left it sitting on my desk in my bedroom the night before. I explain to the customer service rep that I do not have my debit card as I thought but that I could call back on my lunch break sometime in the next 48 hours with that information, as I am not often available regularly to call during their normal business hours.
The customer service rep and me discuss everything and establish that i am off on Friday, May 12. She then tells me that what she is going to do is move my payment date to May 12 so that I could simply call on Friday and make my payment no problem. Fast forward again to Friday, May 12. I contact speedy cash and have my card in hand ready to pay off my loan and never look back.
The customer representative at speedy cash(a new individual that the 8th) reviews my account… and tells me… I cannot make debit card payments because my account is past due and my identity needs to be verified. So the only way I can pay is by cash. I explain to the representative that I am currently in college in North Carolina, a state that speedy cash does not have stores in. The normal speedy cash that is near my hometown is 7 hours from my college apartment and I am currently in finals. The closest store to me is 6 hours. I do not return home until June 17th for the summer and was told by the rep I would be sent to collections by then, but could not move the payment to avoid this even with a note on the account
This representative tells me she cannot help me and that she was sorry but that I should have paid from the start and I wouldn’t be in this situation. Told I should’ve made the payments. When I have sent 18 communications explaining that I could not possibly make payments because I could not get into my account.
I call three more times that evening trying to find someone who can offer help when I finally get someone who is willing to review my account. Rep reviews account for 10 minutes while I sit on hold. She returns, tells me the only other option would be submitting my license, SS card, a utility bill, and my past TWO MONTHS of bank statements to them. (This information is not needed to get the loan no, rather to simply make a payment). Because my identity needs to be verified (TO MAKE PAYMENTS).
I advise the representative that I could happily submit all of that, but that I lost my Social Security card two years prior in a small kitchen fire that occurred near the drawer that my entire family had their SS cards stored in. I even offered to submit my birth certificate instead. I am me, I can literally show them baby pictures and tell them every piece of confidential info I have all the way down to my social security number, and my mom's and dad's names and socials. I literally have my tax returns from the past 4 years and am employed.
The representative then tells me that a birth certificate does not work, only a SS card and that if I cannot provide that, I cannot pay with any method but cash. I again explain to rep that I cannot because of the distance. She asked when I return from college and I give her the date. •This rep then tells me that she can’t move it to then and that I could always just make the drive if I actually wanted to make payment. •11 emails, 7 calls. I think I “actually” want to make payment.PLEASE READ FROM HERE DOWN IF ANYTHING, but ALL IS IMPORTANT.

So let me review everything here for a recap, so that it is easily to follow.
•Feb. take out loan. •March attempt to pay but cannot enter account because of error with both app and website on both computer and iPhone. •March-May sending 11 emails and making 7 calls trying to enter my account and make payment. Always just given dumb solutions or ignored, never once told I could pay via phone (mostly ignored to be honest) (only got replies to 5 of the emails.)
•Finally told May 8th I could pay over the phone by the first kind rep that I had gotten and this is verified by said rep. Who was ready to take my card number on the 8th. I realize I forgot my card and ask if I can call back when I have some free time. •The rep agrees to happily give me until my day off and just tells me to be sure I make my payment on that day.
•4 days go by and the 12th gets here. I call speedy cash ready to finally put this all behind me. It is 4pm in the evening so the day isn’t over and my payment isn’t “past due”. •I am very rudely informed by a speedy cash employee that I now can no longer make payments with my card and that I have to in store with cash. •I explain to rep that this wouldn’t be an option for me because I am away for college until June and have no stores even remotely close to me.
•Representative LITERALLY, not figuratively tells me that there is nothing that can be done for me AND that I caused this cause I didn’t “actually” want to pay after I had sent 11 emails and made 7 phone calls. Completely unaware that I could pay over the phone and believing that I needed into my account. •I again explain to rep that I cannot because of the distance and that I have wanted to make payments but that I can’t because I can’t get into my account.
•She asked when I return from college and I give her the date. •Explains to me I’ll be in collections by then and that she can’t move the date past May 12. Asked if moving it to May 12 was helpful (it was may 12… it was not being moved..). •Told I’ll be sent to collections if I don’t pay. But also told that I can’t pay. •Ask for an explanation of what changed between the 8th and the 12th that made it to where I am unable to make payment.
•Told by rep that it was random but that nobody could help and I should make the drive. •Also told by rep that the only person who could help me is account services, who wouldn’t be back until Monday. •Asked rep if I’d be sent to collections for waiting until Monday. Told maybe. So I am being told I am NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE PAYMENT; while also being told that I am going to have my credit destroyed because I’m not making payment.
SO I AM NOW OUT 700 and COUNTING. My loan was $1000, and in 2 months it has built $700 interest. The entire time this interest is building I am asking to pay my loan off and getting no help. My credit is going to be potentially damaged when I am literally begging speedy cash to let me pay. And on top of that it is not Saturday morning and I still have no way to pay, so I'm still at risk. Speedy Cash is deliberately not allowing me to pay and is instead allowing interest to build so that I can't pay it at once.
Speedy cash I invite you to reply to this message with a REAL response. Do not say something generic with your email, I used that 11 times and you couldn’t answer once. Let me know how what you’re doing is okay. I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT BEING VICTIMIZED BY A COMPANY. I have contacted the necessary authorities and am working through my options. But have still been begging speedy to help me. This company had a glowing review from me at first. It’s so disappointing to see their true colors.

I took out an installment agreement last month from Speedy Cash. My loan payments were $198.00. Today speedy cash removed $1136.00 from an account they did not have written consent to remove money from. Upon calling to inform them of this issue they refused to furnish a copy of my loan agreement and refused to review a copy of my loan agreement which I have. They also refuse to refund my money after illegally removing it from my back account. They still have not produced a loan agreement and claim it will take two weeks for them to find my loan agreement.
