Terrible business practices. They will remind you of payments but can't seem to send one for when your interest free is about to expire. Money hungry rip off company. Figured I would try them out but learned the hard way.

Approved me for a loan but needed a certain document, a week later I returned with it and the manager acted like she never saw me before and proceeded to give me a hard time and wanted another document. I walked out.

You do not tell customers upfront ALL the charges you will be charging during the loan... insurance, life Insurance it goes on and on and on... Can’t get an answer out of anyone when you call. I am seeking legal advice.

Never would I recommend this company to anyone. Now, maybe it’s just the branch I use in statesboro ga but they suck. My ex is the co-signer of my car which was a big mistake on my part. I have asked several times for her to be removed from the contract but the manager refuses to allow me to do that. Which is unlawful. I as the owner and a customer have the right to apply for a refinance or whatever I need to do because I want her off the contract. So yea.

My wife, Jean, and I recently visited the Lendmark Financial Services branch in Hagerstown, and our experience was outstanding thanks to Branch Manager Kelly **. From the moment we walked in, Kelly made us feel valued and welcomed. She took the time to listen to our needs, explained each step clearly, and ensured the entire process was smooth and efficient. Her professionalism and personal touch made a world of difference. We left not only with our approved loans but with complete confidence in the service. Highly recommend Kelly and her team!

We have always paid on time and asked the Anderson SC branch for help due to Hurricane Helena. They offered to increase our debt - would offer any assistance because we paid our payment due September 2024. We were just running short due to extra expenses and canceled events due to the storm. For this company to be located in Upstate SC they appeared to care less. God awful company and never again. Even my car loan company offered to assist. Lendmark is messed up and those people that work at the Anderson branch lack basic empathy- news flash a federal disaster is reason to give a good customer a break. Totally unacceptable with no care about nothing or no one but their money.

“I had a terrible experience with Lendmark Financial. I initially borrowed $3,500 to fix my car, but the interest rates are so outrageously high that if I stick to the four-year payment plan, I’ll end up paying around $16,000! Their rates are completely predatory, taking advantage of people who need help. They also constantly harass you with calls if you’re even slightly late and make threats about repossessing your car if you don’t pay within a set time. It’s incredibly stressful, and their representatives are rude and arrogant, making you feel like you’re a criminal. This company is a total nightmare to deal with and is more interested in trapping people in endless debt than actually helping. Avoid at all costs!”

They made the process so easy. Hyped up their services and what they could do for me. I was pregnant about to have a baby! They helped me out. Once my baby was born. My first payment came up due. I made the on time payments. I called them prior to a situation of being laid off, receiving unemployment and was not what I was getting working. They offered deferred payments. I had purchase the insurance and on my loan, as recommended because I was pregnant or would come employed! They did nothing back nothing.
They refinanced my loan without me giving consent when I thought it was another deferred payments putting me in further debt with them, making my payments higher after stating I don’t want nothing to increase my current set amount. I was told no it would be fine and stay the same. Ok. Nope not what happened. I got so far behind, can’t even catch up at this point. They are constantly harassing and not helping and now have called and told me they are putting my loan up for liquidation. They have nothing but make my life a living nightmare after I worked my butt off to fix my credit and pay off everything! They have ruined me! They are a disastrous of a loan company and would NEVER EVER recommend them!

They absolutely drive you insane about getting more money. They constantly call and you haven't even paid the first loan off. If I wanted more money I would ask you. To even get money you have to sign over your life for it. They want your cars and anything you own to be collateral. Stop blowing up people's phone. Also, is there even a grace period... They act as if there isn't one. I can see calling after that, but they called The day isn't even over yet. If you want to be harassed go ahead and use them but I wouldn't suggest them to anyone, even if they were on their deathbed and absolutely needed the money.
They even got into wanting my medical record to prove I've been hospitalized. I had to cancel my surgery due to them. They threatened me with a lawyer. Then the guy and a lady were talking about me and didn't put me on hold and I heard them talking bad about me while laughing about me having to go to surgery. Literally told me I need to call after my surgery and hung up on me. That's rude. I gave them a date and they aren't having it. They don't work with you. The lady even asked me to put my teenage son to work. That was crossing the line.

This is the worst lending company I’ve ever dealt with. They are shady, deceitful and a corporation this size. It is definitely intentional. They do not bill you in ways that make sense and notify you of expiration dates of promotional periods and intentionally try to make it confusing so you lapse and make money, I had to pay over $60 interest because I was two days late on a promotion that I didn’t even know was expiring because I was given misinformation and list on the billing statement. Horrible, devious lender.

They say you been denied, so because I had been denied they didn't have the decency to bother and call me that there was denial.

WARNING STAY AWAY. I highly recommend staying away from this so-called finance company. Predatory Lending at its best. The branch managers/office employees try their best to approve as many loans as possible per month to meet their quota & bonuses. From my experience they will put down more monthly income than you actually earn just to get you approved. And they do not want you to payoff early because they're making a killing on interest. Example on a $7000.00 loan with say interest rate of 30 plus percent you will pay around $6000 in interest on a four year loan for a total cost of $13,000.
The branch manager or other office employee handling your application will tell you anything in order to close the deal. Like, you can always refinance with us later for a lower interest rate and lower payment, or you can always refinance with another finance company or bank. Problem with that, if they finance a car or truck that's more than 10-years old no other finance company or bank will touch it. So it's misleading & wrong.
They prey on low income/low credit score consumers, the less fortunate. They're getting rich off the poor. They love to finance vehicles for these consumers, take for example they finance your vehicle you pay say over $4000 back and with interest you still owe $6000, you stop paying they repo the vehicle sell it for say $4000 they will come after you for the remaining $2000 plus towing & other fees.
If you file Chapter-7 bankruptcy they'll just write it off as a Business loss on their taxes. But they trap consumers in a vicious cycle. That's why I said they're predatory lenders. Any finance company who takes advantage of consumers with low credit scores low income and charges outrageously high interest in my opinion is a predatory lender. And they charge others fees which is considered "JUNK FEES". Late fees. And they charge $2.20 or more just to make a payment on your account. Attorneys representing clients in junk fee litigation will tell you from expert witnesses & depositions that the credit card companies only charge those businesses .25 cents to process those payments.
If you decide to take out a loan with LendMark Financial I would advise you within 10-days to type up a letter & opt out of there so-called arbitration clause and make sure you Mail it to the branch where you took out the loan & mail a copy to the Headquarters, make sure you mail it Certified Return Receipt & keep copies of everything.
If you're stuck in a loan with them & feel they have violated your rights, contact a consumer attorney, also go to the website topclassaction.com they have a link you can submit your complaint to be reviewed by attorneys. LendMark settled a lawsuit a while back for around $50 million dollars. That's all public information. And you can check with your local State agencies, usury laws to see if they're charging more interest than the law allows for your State.

Lendmark charges 26 percent on a loan for my car that has over 190000 miles on it. I have been paying on it for two years and the amount owed is unchanged. I cannot get an accounting of my payments or how they are being applied. They are not a bank but have built their reputation on ripping middle americans off. I would suggest you go anywhere but here. They are liars and sharks in sheep clothing.

I got a loan from these folks many years ago. I was in a bind when I refinanced and oh boy why did I do that? These folks are the worst. My balance doesn't seem as if it is going down. Every time I do make a payment the balance looks about the same. They take advantage of your situation and will run it so far in the ground until you are in the ground. I keep saying that I wished I HAD NEVER MESSED WITH THEM. They are rude, threaten you, call you, and text you asking you the same question that was just discussed two days prior. I pray I come into some real good money because I am going to pay these folks off and tell anyone who mentioned their name to NOT go to them because they will act as if they are the only debt you need to pay.

1 star is too good for this company! The customer service is absolutely terrible. They will take your info and then tell you they are going to do some figures and get back to you and they will not! They will leave you hanging and you will never hear from them again and I tried two different branches hoping it was just a fluke! Your credit score does not matter either, they pick and choose who they lend to. They lend to men and not women obviously and I’m sure it has something to do with the fact it’s women making the loans.

I need help!! I don't know what is going on with my loan through these people. Borrowed 9335.94 on 6/16/21. Made every payment on time. I still owe close to 8000. Paying 288.31? I live in PA. My husband got this loan and I don't know what he signed. One code is 680/Open Loan? One code is 510/ Field credit. This is one and only time these codes were on monthly bill, dated 6/28/21. All other bills just say amount owed. But... Experian says I owe 5900? Nothing makes sense? Help!!!

What is the point of having a 10-day grace period when they call and harass you about the payment twice a day? Even after they reassured me that I wouldn't get another call unless it was 11 days late. BTW... NEVER been late!! Asked them to stop calling and that the payment will be made on this particular day... and I was told, "Ok... we'll call you back tomorrow!!" Too proud to default but would love to get rid of this loan ASAP!!

Starting off with 28.00 % interest was the first red flag. I became homeless 6 months after purchasing this vehicle and at first, Jesus was very compassionate and understanding and worked with me to make the payments when I could however it didn't last very long and I am so very upset about the way I've been treated in the office, by the district manager, Gilbert and the women in Jesus office, who, in my opinion, have the finesse of a gorilla and zero people skills. So I've had no less than 4-5 calls per day and the ''t pay for it, right?" Also, I asked to speak to someone who had people skills and was told, "Oh let me see if I can get "people skills" on the line for you." Rude and stupid.
Being homeless is bad enough but being homeless with stage 3 kidney disease and RA and sleeping in my vehicle every night for a year (this month), and last summer was brutal and this summer will be worse and they are now threatening repossession, yet I made 2 payments this last month, but that wasn't good enough. They want 2 again this month. My health and my mental status have gone down hill and I'm an emotional wreck, even though Jesus told me they'd refinance if I made last months 2 payments. I did but they didn't. They now demand 2 payments. If there is a class action suit, I'm IN. Please contact me. Btw, I’ll be 70 next month, so better sooner than later.

This company is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! They will not only harass you constantly every month even if you make on time payments but they will scream and belittle you. I am legally disabled with mental health and they traumatized me so much I am actually scared of them now. I am almost done paying off my car and can not wait. I might take a loan from someone else just to pay it off so I don't have to deal with them any longer.

This is in reference to the Burleson TX location and Sal the store manager according to him. I called him a couple days ago and asked about a bill I received and he answered my question and let me know I'm not in threat of being 30 days late until the 1st. But then he called today out of the blue (I'm still not in threat of being 30 days past) and asked when I would be making a payment? I told him didn't know but I would take care of it. And with an arrogant response he said that doesn't make sense to him. I said I'm in the middle of something and just don't have an answer this second but I'll take care of it either online or call you later but I'll take care of it.
Then I get from him the "Well you got to understand where I'm coming from because we lent you money but you don't when you'll make a payment?" My reponse was not at this second!! And of course he kept on and kept on until he had me pissed off which was obviously his intention. This is unprofessional and leans toward an attitude of "We own you now and can treat you any way we see fit!"
