This company Caribou is a waste of time. It's fraud. Don't upload your information. Don't give them your personal information. They are fraud. They don't even help you. They are a London network which they're not the direct lender to make the decision so don't waste your time calling them because they don't know. They're fraud. I would never recommend nobody to them

I was hounded by text from Caribou to refinance- I did, uploaded documents then heard nothing- Had to call and see what was going on and was told they had no offer for me / rude- Waste of time and credit pull - Do not use them - Horrible service!!!!

Caribou took my information and I never heard back, the number they gave was a voice recorded message and no one ever available. Would not contact me with any information. I think it a horrible business. I had to pay for additional protections because Caribou left me vulnerable with no response. My advice is not to use this business.

They added 10% to my principal. Do not use them, very deceptive. I had a $500.00 loan I wanted to refinance. Now I owe $10,600.00. How do they keep doing business. I really hope people read this review so they go away.

Absolutely horrific! On 2 different occasions I attempted to complete a refinance that was approved. Either the agents are rude and dismissive or just plain absent (unreturned phone calls, ignored texts/emails, no updates). The car refinance broker model seems great, but someone leading the agents is not doing their job and demanding excellence from them. I would highly recommended you check elsewhere.

The loan officer that helped us was Garrett **. Such a great guy to work with. Made sure we got all the best help possible. Answered all my questions and replied quickly. Thank you for your help! We are happy with what we got.

The first time I contacted this service was through Credit Karma. I was offered to refinance with an interest rate 15% to a 7%. I thought it was an excellent offer and at that moment I uploaded all my documentation to continue with the process. Two days later I entered the Caribou website to review pending documentation and I see that from an initial balance that I have with Capital One of an amount of 9500 dollars. Caribou offered me to finance 11000 dollars. Plus another charge for 30 dollars for a service I don't need. Punching numbers, there is no savings anywhere and I decided to cancel my application.

They basically try to force people to accept higher fees in the loan so you are stuck in the new loan forever and end up paying more. They added over 3k A my moms loan when she was just trying to save money. Just a despicable company!

I reached out to RateGenius and Caribou, and both were responsive but Caribou got us the lowest rate. The guy who helped us did a great job telling us what to expect. He spent a lot of time on the phone with both me and my dad asking if we had questions or concerns or anything he could help us with. He was very accommodating in that aspect. He had reached out to me through phone call and text message. I texted him back because it was late when I finally could get back to him and we arranged a time to talk. He was very flexible in his timing because I ended up getting called into a meeting. He was able to negotiate a full bumper-to-bumper warranty. He walked us through every single step of everything I had to do. He was always available when I needed him. Although my payment went down, it didn't go down drastically because I was able to add on some things that I didn't have with my original loan. It was such a smooth and easy process. I would do it 100 times if I needed to.

The process with Caribou went very smoothly and quickly. It was the best I’ve ever had. I was surprised because I never heard of this company, but everything was excellent. I give them a 10-plus. The rate and terms were very good. I had no issues at all and I appreciate it. I love it. I just shared the experience with my son and my other co-worker. They may want to refinance their car because it was very good for me. So, it might go very smooth for them as well.

Caribou was at the top on Credit Karma as far as the lowest rate. I saved a good amount. Dominic was helpful and told me I was good about getting all my stuff back. It was all through text messages. I closed on it a few weeks back. They said he didn't get certain paperwork, but I sent it back to him. I haven't heard back from him to make sure he got it. Other than that, the process was quick and painless.

Caribou's rep did really well. He helped me out every time I had a question. The signup went smooth and painless. I changed my payment date from September to August. The rep changed it right away.

The process with Caribou took longer because of me. I didn't have time to print the shipping label and send the documents that I needed to print out and signoff right away. Then, I had to re-sign them. But it still only took maybe a week and a half. I probably could have heard from Caribou a little more though. I didn’t even hear anything about it being done. I got an automated email but I didn't get a text when the guy I was talking to received the documents again or when anything was done. I didn't get a lot of information. I'm intelligent and I have a lot of finance knowledge but there's a lot of other people who probably would have had questions. There were a couple of times I said something that wasn't anything important, but I didn't get a response at all. So, there could have been a little more communication.

The first officer wasn't very communicative but the second one was and helped me move everything along quickly. When I worked with the second loan officer, the process was done within a week. Everything worked out well. Going with Caribou was a big decision but it's one of those decisions that are almost ethereal in a sort of way. I had to go with somebody and they offered me the best rate. It was a much lower interest rate. It was a 4% percent difference, which was almost $100 a month.

My experience with Caribou went very smooth and quick, and I was very satisfied. Julie, the rep, was very professional and pleasant to work with. When she said something, she delivered on it. If she said she was gonna call me back, she called me back. Everything was great.

I refinanced my auto loan, and it was easy and quick. The rate was good too, but I don't know if it was totally worth it. I got a lower interest rate, but the end result of the loan amount was $6,000 more. I thought, “Hmm, I probably should have stayed with the rate that I had. It’s been coming out the same way.” The person I worked with was Arthur, and he is good. However, Caribou was asking for all this personal information, and I was hesitant because I’ve had my identity stolen before. Arthur assured me that it was safe and the call was recorded. There was just something about it, so I went to the Better Business Bureau and saw a really bad outcome for the reviews. I shared my concern, and he, again, reassured me. That experience was good, but we’ll see moving forward if whatever was promised that’s supposed to happen and good service will happen.

The refinance process went good. It was very fast, and everything went very smooth. I'm refinanced, but I haven't called my recent lender to see if my loan has been paid yet. Still, I was absolutely grateful with the new rate and terms, and I would recommend Caribou.

Caribou was fantastic. All the information they gave me was super helpful, and I didn't come into any problems with customer service. Uploading documents was super easy too. I just took pictures, and they had them texted to the number that they gave me. It was a really easy process, and it happened within a month. It was two weeks at most. I would absolutely tell friends to go through Caribou. I was paying 615, and now it's 495.

Caribou was good in the beginning, but it got slow at the end. The last 10 days, it's just been floating. I've been approved, and it's all supposed to be fine, but I'm still waiting for a few details for them to get back to me. They're waiting to settle with the other bank that was financing my car.

I would recommend Caribou. I started the process with RefiJet and the sales guy wouldn't call me back. Meanwhile, Caribou was calling and constantly reaching out. Finally, I couldn't get ahold of the Refi guy, so I called Tony from Caribou, talked with him and moved forward with the process with them. Our communication was great. However, I texted him July 29th after we finalized everything, and I haven't heard anything back from him. I don't know if that's another ghosting situation there, but he said he would help me.
When I purchased the vehicle originally, I purchased a lot of extra warranty stuff, which I'm hoping that Tony is still going to assist me with replacing those. ‘Cause I was told they wouldn't carry over. My payment with my lender is coming due on the 14th as well. I have an app with them and it's still showing the loan is open. So I need to get with somebody and find out if I still have to make that payment then turn around and pay Caribou on the 9th as well.

The rep was easy to work with and not very difficult to get ahold of. Our communication was excellent. If I called or texted him, he called right back if he didn't answer. The refinance process took three to four weeks, but that was my fault because I waited longer than I should have to complete it. But the rep kept trying to get ahold of me, which is good. I'm happy about the new rate and terms too. I would like to not have the same term, but there was no way getting around it and I wanted the lower payment.

The signup with Caribou was good. They got back to me quickly. They got everything under control. I worked with Jeremy and he was good. He wasn't like a business person. He came like a personal guy. He was like, "Hey, man, let me help you out. I could do this for you." He worked with me real well until I got it all done. I didn't really understand the rates and terms, but he explained them to me a lot. Pretty much what he told me that they were gonna charge me and how it was gonna happen was what happened.

We had a couple of back and forth phone calls with Caribou in getting the paperwork together. The rep would call, email, or text me and let me know what he needed. It was good. He was very clear with what he needed. I'm a truck driver, so there's some stuff dealing with getting a car financing done that you can't really do when you're away from home, and you're out on the road. He took that into consideration and said, “Just get this stuff as soon as you can, as soon as you get home. No Rush.” So, he worked with the things that I had to deal with in order to get it done. He was very helpful and very considerate of my time.

Yvette, the operator from Caribou that I called was really awesome. I loved her. Caribou had a pretty easy process. If I can do it, anybody can do it. I had to upload things. I had to take pictures of my car insurance proof and had to upload a picture of my license.

My experience with Caribou was great. I continue to work with them because they got right back to me. Jeremy called and answered all my questions. I did quite a bit of messaging back and forth with him. Whenever I did make a message, I got a response right back. He has his assistant work on a couple of things for me when he was busy.

The online application at Caribou was really easy and quick. Kyle reached out to me that same day and he was extremely friendly and helpful. He made the process really simple and easy as well. The new rate and terms were fantastic. Everything was just great. It was definitely the best rate I could find. The customer service was fantastic as well.

Our experience with Caribou from start to finish went really smoothly. I'm happy. However, they gave me an interest rate and then they ended up changing it because, they said, "The miles are slightly higher than we thought they were, so we have to adjust it." I said, "I don't know, 3/4 of our percentage point was a little disappointing.” But other than that, it went really well. The quality of service was great.
