I would recommend Caliber. Greg ** was great and carefully explained each step of the loan. He worked with our realtor since we were out of town. He also provided my mother-in-law financing for her move.

The whole process went very smoothly. Our loan representative, Jillian, did everything in her power to make this a smooth transaction. We had a solar company lease which attached to the home and so we needed a subordination agreement from the solar company in order to place the new loan. It took the solar company much longer to produce a simple subordination document than it took Caliber to have our loan ready to close. Good job Caliber!

Frank ** and the other members of the Caliber team were a pleasure to work with. They were very professional and made the home buying process much easier. I couldn't recommend them enough.

My overall experience with Caliber was a very good experience. Yes there was a few minor setbacks that delayed the process, but things was corrected in a timely manner so that we was able to continue to move forward. Overall I was dissatisfied with my experience. My loan process had hiccups that I learned were outside of my lenders control but I am left wanting more in the category of communication. I can think of a few instances. Once when it had been, I think, over week between communications. This is at a time when I can't look for a house while I wait to see if I can proceed with the loan for the condo.

I cannot say enough about how amazing Josh and his team were. Everything from beginning to end was absolutely perfect and so easy. We would recommend Caliber Home Loans without hesitation!!

The service was fast and excellent. I put bids on a few houses and every time I needed a pre-approval letter Cindy had it covered right away. She also got me into programs that helped with the down payment (something my friend who went with some other company knew nothing about until it was too late). Whenever I hear one of my friends talking about possibly buying a house I recommend Cindy.

Caliber Homes is the best home mortgage lenders I dealt with. Their team with Bob ** was great. They even worked over the weekends and nights to get my loan approved and get everything ready for closing on time and even within 3 weeks, I owned a house.

SOLD! I made 2 payments and they sold my loan! Now my loan is in another state, my payments increased by $30/month, and this new place is charged me an additional $50 this month because they bought my loan! I'm not sure if I can refinance since I just started my loan 2 months ago but shouldn't have to! Especially after only 2 months! I'm very disappointed in Caliber Home Loans.

The team at Caliber was fantastic. I could not thank Cricket enough for her patience and help through the process of financing my new build. Barbara was also top notch and great to work with. Although I never spoke to the underwriter, she too did a great job. The whole team was wonderful and I was very grateful for their help, especially Cricket.

The draw process that should have taken a week or two is now going on over four weeks and I still do not have my draw payment check yet. The process is very unorganized and needs to have attention paid to correcting it. Bryan has made assurances that the process will be better next time around. However, that doesn't make this first draw process go away. My project is now being significantly held up because I can't pay my contractor as I should be able to. Sure hope my check shows up soon! Such a disappointing experience!

I recently refinanced my home with Caliber. When I called into customer service I was greeted by Anthony ** who helped me through the entire process. My customer experience was seamless because Mr. ** was informative and professional. I knew he had the best intentions and made sure that as a customer my experience was truly positive which it was.

I don't think my loan officer, Becky **, could have any better from the technical side of the loan to the customer service side. Becky, along with her staff, did a wonderful job from the very beginning of the loan process, especially considering it was for a HUD home that had damage to it. She worked with my family and I to get a good rate, decide how much to put down, what terms to go with, what insurance to use, etc. I would highly recommend Becky ** and her staff, along with Caliber Loans.

I consider my issue with Caliber resolved now. They extended a satisfactory offer and I accepted. Customer service did come through in the end.

I received a courtesy call from Caliber regarding our mortgage payment. He wouldn't give me the message unless I gave him my social security number. This made me feel uncomfortable but this was the only way I could get the message. After I gave him my SSN, the message was that Caliber hadn't received my mortgage payment. Really? It just didn't sound or feel professional. I don't think I should have to give a stranger my SSN over the phone without any kind of guarantee that he is from Caliber.

My remortgage agent was Marline ** and she handled my experience exceptionally well and completely to my satisfaction. I feel well served and with a fine company.

Donna was great to work with. She took the time to call us with any and all information we needed. I am not happy about having to send documents to the head office more than once or twice. It seems to me once should have been enough for each document. Other than that the loan was process in a timely manner. If all employees were like Donna things would be excellent.

The realtor told me I have to get pre-approved by these clowns first, I assume it's 'cause they want first crack at the mortgage (it's a foreclosure they own). I've been calling them for over a week, and can't get through to anyone! What kind of bank doesn't want to make money and make a sale?? The particular layout of the house is hard to find or I would have already moved on. I will say this though, I will never do business with this bank whether it's on this home or another one.

Recently my wife and I purchased our second home and first residence in Washington. The process of finding and buying a home is always difficult but Drew ** and his team at Caliber loans made the process as easy and enjoyable as possible. Drew and his team take pride in a personal and attentive relationship that makes you feel comfortable asking any question. Drew initially made us feel comfortable by inviting us into his office to explain the market, the loan process, and how his team would be available for what almost ended up seeming like 24/7 assistance.

I was helping my daughter-in-law purchase a home. It was recommended by seller to use Karen ** at Caliber Loans. After 3 months and several contacts I paid off two loans for her after being told loan would be approved if this was done. No response from Caliber, lost several thousand dollars over 3 months' time. She was qualified for the loan but lost house anyway. Buyer beware. This is a bad company to deal with. They lose info required and need to have it sent again 3 and 4 times. They requested a trust be made that cost 400 bucks and they make buyer pay for inspections out of pocket and pay off loans all to lose your money. I'm prepared to take this as far as possible even court if needed.

The employees at Caliber Home Loans are incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I chose to go through Caliber instead of a Internet based or phone based lender because I wanted exceptional service. I feel that I received good service but not more than I would receive through my bank (USAA) or an internet-based lending group. I will most likely suggest that route to my friends and choose that for my future needs. I feel that after acquiring my business there was an unacceptable lag that created time problems at the end. The Caliber team, in my opinion, seemed busy with other things and I got put on the back burner. Thank you for your time.

I made purchase of a home through a 1031 Exchange; it was first experience making this transaction and had worked with 2 other organizations prior to being referred to Caliber. The team at Caliber was able to troubleshoot several of the new federal regulations that took effect in October 2015, and allowed successful closure of the loan. I was kept updated during processing and appreciated how organized and responsive the team was.

I must admit starting out the home buying process was not as fun as it appears on TV. I have worked hard to be able to afford my first home at age 43 and kept my credit score in the excellent range however I found myself going back and forth about financing until I contacted Caliber. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant but Lane ** and Nicole ** in Atlanta, GA went above and beyond to make themselves available by email and phone. The mortgage payment came in within budget and I was able to lock in a great interest rate. Once I told the other financing company I would not be using them they tried to come back with numbers to match Caliber but I felt like I wanted to go with the company that was open and honest from the start. There is no doubt that I will do more business with Caliber Loans in the future.

Susan was kind and professional. Very nice and got things done in a timely fashion. My only problem with Caliber Home Loans was that I was told that I get reimbursed the money I put for my appraisal and I have not been.

We had a good experience with Jessica & Tiffeny. A little more communication on our status would have been nice but it all worked out. I would recommend them to all.

I decided to go with Caliber for my refinance after they sent me a letter promising a easy process and no origination fee's. I have a 785 beacon score and was putting down 51000., should have been an easy deal. It took 6 month to get this done. I had to provide the same documentation over and over, had to call supervisors to get calls back. Service sucked.

I don't take the time to write reviews often, but I would not have bought a home this time around if it wasn't for Brad ** with Caliber. We were having such a bad experience with our realtor and the loan officer of his recommendation and were about to give up the house hunt and rent for a while longer. But, out of coincidence we got Brad's number and our whole experience changed. He gave us great advice on how to deal with people/situations we were going through and we were able to get money back on a bad deal because of his advice. He went above and beyond in what his job required and was very knowledgeable and easy to get in touch with. I would never use anyone else again.

I had to have tie downs on my home (all brick) to qualify for re-fi. The engineer has yet to inspect work. Not happy with installation as they knocked holes in the sub-floor to attach straps. Since then, I have mouse problems, coming up thru floor. I can't seem to get anyone at Caliber in Grand Junction, CO. I need inspection and holes plugged up.

She also went above and beyond to help in formatting some of the information. The issue we had was with the appraisal that was a lazy job. I worked with Cathy ** to obtain a home loan to provide for funds with which I was going to remodel a bathroom. I was also going to use funds to pay off an existing line of credit. Cathy has to get the award for hardest working loan officer in the world. She would call me with information well after normal office hours and stayed late to be with me when I signed all of the final loan docs. Her level of service, and by extension, the service I received from Caliber was remarkable and well beyond the level one expects in today's world.

There was very poor communication among the people I worked with. I would supply 100 pages of documentation, nothing would be done for a week and then they would ask for the same items as if they never received them. I would resupply to one person on the team and they would not give to the rest and then someone else would ask again. I have bought many homes and this was by far my worst experience.

We found Melanie ** and Jennifer ** to be very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They were very friendly and made the process a positive experience. We would HIGHLY recommend them and Caliber to anyone buying a home.

My experience with Caliber home loans was not a very pleasant one. While I am happy for the rate they were able to get me, I went through a lot of unnecessary paper fetching and e-mailing to not only my financial officer but his 3 assistants (that was something else entirely). Firstly, while Caliber claims to be a safe avenue to share personal information, I still don't particularly feel comfortable handing out multiple sheets and copies of my social, address, name, phone, etc. to not just one 'assistant' but multiple. Not only did this make me feel like my personal info was not so personal anymore but it really jumbled up the papers and had me running around during my hours at my job trying to make sure I sent everything by their deadlines. Although this was my first time going through the buying process, even I knew it could have gone better.

Staff which assisted me was excellent. They answered all my questions on a very timely basis. Would definitely recommend the staff which I worked with.

The application process didn't go very smooth, communication seemed to be the problem. We stuck with it and got through the process. We set up the direct payment and received the date of withdraw. Then received a payment invoice in the mail for another date. It is impossible to reach a "live" person to get an answer. Communication is terrible.
