Everyone I talked with was very knowledgeable about what I wanted to do. They would answer those phones. When I called, they would call back and give me the answers. I was looking for when they said they would call back. Guiding me through the whole process. Very highly recommend. The team at Amerisave.

AmeriSave Mortgage was the only one that could work with our unique situation. We had very high credit card debt, and we wanted to take out a little more money to work on our house. Our rep, Jeff, was very easy to work with. He kept us up-to-date and let us know everything that was going on. When he requested something, we gave it right to him and he let us know he got it right away. It didn't take very long. AmeriSave did everything we could possibly ask for and did all the leg work. The rate was very reasonable as well. I found a lower rate somewhere else, but with our situation, we had to give and take a little bit. If we had to go two interest rate percentage higher from 8 to 10, that was no big deal.
Every first of the month, we would have a pit in our stomach because that's when the credit cards are all due. But this November 1st, we didn't have that pit in our stomach. We weren't worried anymore because we paid them off. We're stable now and my credit rating went from a 580 a 720. Within that short time paying it off, my credit rating went that high. We had the funds to pay but we just couldn't at the 30% interest rates that the cards were. We just needed someone to give us a chance and AmeriSave did it. It would have been doomsday for holidays if we didn't do that.

AmeriSave was always available and made a laborious process as easy as possible. Getting a loan is like buying a house. People gotta get all the docs. I spent two years getting divorced from a high-powered attorney, and I know about paperwork and discoveries. I'm setting up a trust for my mom's estate right now and it's the same deal. People gotta be relentless and do the work. I wanted to do the work, but AmeriSave made it really easy to do that work.
The communication was a 10 out of 10. Between the rep Curtis and the other gentlemen, they were great. They were personable and made things straightforward. I had at least one person at all times that was my go-to 'cause the go-to person changes. There was somebody to hook me in, then somebody to get the paperwork rolling and somebody to walk me through the next step then somebody to close it. I had an ace in the hole at all times that I could reach out to.
I got lucky and found the right people. I didn't know where to go and it was the vibe that I got on the phone with AmeriSave. I had talked to eight different people and got 3000 phone calls even after I settled on a company. I just switched over all my finances to another finance group and I got lucky there, too. People have to have that sixth sense where they feel the person on the other end is who they say they are and it's gonna do what they say they're gonna do. It's a street thing that people either have it or don't, and I could tell the first person I talked to from AmeriSave was the right fit.

AmeriSave assisted me with a home equity loan. The process was very easy. It took four weeks because there was an issue with the timeshare, but it was fine. I was in no hurry. I'm very happy with customer service. They're very professional and very helpful. I was also very happy with my rate and term. I would recommend AmeriSave in a heartbeat.

We had a good experience with Amerisave. They were a lot easier. The other companies wanted me to mortgage my home instead of just getting a HELOC. The guy we worked with was also very helpful. The guy helped us walk through it and gave us his personal number. If we had an issue, we could call him. It was great customer service.

AmeriSave was the first people I reached out to and I did a little bit of research on them. I didn't see anything bad about them. I run a business and I don’t have a lot of time to window shop. They seemed intelligent and responsive. My loan officer was great. He was helpful and very personable. Sharon, my loan processor, was very good. She was very on top of calling me every three days. Everything went well until we got down to the nitty-gritty with the terms and what I was trying to do and it just kept getting backed up for different reasons. But it wasn’t anybody’s controllable reason. It was just with the requirements that AmeriSave has to satisfy to protect people from predatory lending. They have to cross their Ts and dot their Is. It was all done over the internet.
The closing agent came to the house and was very respectful. Then the money came just as AmeriSave said it would, in the forms and the amount they said it would. So, I'm happy with my experience. I wish it could have been shortened by about 60 days though because we started it in July and closed out in early October. Still, the people in place did a good job.
Working with AmeriSave allowed me to consolidate a lot of my debt and restructure it so I can easily manage the repayment. It also saved me quite a bit of money every month. If people are committed to making changes and doing this process with somebody, AmeriSave would be a good company to go with. They're easy to deal with and very responsive to communications. They make it less stressful trying to borrow money against your house. The website worked and the communication over the emails and through their portal worked well.

I did a loan with AmeriSave Mortgage to consolidate debt. The online platform that they have informs you of what's needed and is very easy to use. This is my first time doing something like that where I had a full online platform to see where I was in the process and what was needed, and it was a good experience. The communication was good as well. I knew who I needed to contact. Originally, I had started with a different rep. The second time, I had Justin who was great. The first time probably would've saved me some money in the short term. The estimate of credit score the first time was significantly lower than what I found it to be once I did a pull myself and they ended up putting some extra steps in the process from the first time that I contacted them. But once I got in contact with Justin, it was a lot sharper and better. Overall, everything was well done and my questions were answered.

I previously had a loan with AmeriSave and I was getting a mortgage to buy a new place to live. AmeriSave was professional and handled things well. They were able to get the loan closed on time. There was a lot of pressure and they did a good job.

The guy, Ryan, and another rep were exceptionally nice. They knew what they were talking about and basically said, "We're here to work for you to try to get the best things accomplished for you. So, just let us know what we need to do." That's what sold me, and everything was perfect. All we had to do was go through the process and look for what was best for me. It was a quick process, and my experience was super. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose AmeriSave again.

I got a call immediately after I submitted the questionnaire AmeriSave had online. I talked to one guy who took the application then he told me he was gonna get me over to his agent. The other lady took over and she took care of the rest. I was dealing with another mortgage company before AmeriSave and I paid off a bill in 2008 but the guy wouldn't sign anything because I couldn't find the receipt saying that I paid it off in 2008. But once I got with AmeriSave, the guy said they were not gonna ask me all the questions, and he took care of me. I could have gotten a lower interest rate though. I had almost 800 credit score, but I only got a 6.5 interest rate. I'll try to refinance it later.

The rep, David, was great. I dealt with another lady named Tammy and she had a little problem calling me back, but she was all right. The lending process took two and a half weeks, and everything was fine. The rate and terms could be lower, but overall, AmeriSave is great.
Reviewed Nov. 7, 2024
When we researched mortgage brokers, AmeriSave came up in the top three. We also liked that our mortgage officer was close to where we live. The process was easy as far as getting things uploaded. But the harder part was all the red tape that went along with it. We had some issues with the title and it was something that I addressed at the beginning. I was told not to worry about it but then it was something that we had to worry about. It would have been nice if they had been more forward in regards to that.
But we made it happen, so everything was good. The rates and terms are fair as well. We ended up having to switch halfway through the type of loan that we were getting and it didn't cost us any more money. Also, the reps were great. They responded in a timely manner and we didn't have any problems with communication. It wasn't our first time in the mortgage industry, so we were well aware of all the requirements, but for a first-time buyer, AmeriSave would have done a great job getting them through all the steps that are associated with it.

I got a loan through AmeriSave. Initially, I did a Google search and my email came up as a result, then I got a call from a loan originator. I was dismissive at first, but as we started talking, I thought, “This guy really knows his stuff, and he's doing his job.” I was impressed enough not to even go any further. I could have done a lot of comparisons and chasing down a lesser interest rate, but I decided I needed a level of trust and he facilitated that. The two guys I worked with were excellent. The process took less than three weeks, between 10 and 20 days, and it went extremely well. I'm going to start making my payments in December.
Everyone did a spectacular job. The interest rate’s a little higher than I would like, but it was a much better thing I did than to have gotten a home equity line of credit. That would have been an even higher interest rate. I worked with very knowledgeable people from AmeriSave who gave me very good information, and I'm glad I didn't do a home equity line of credit. My overall assessment is that AmeriSave is very professional. It's certainly solved an incredible problem I had because of family emergencies. I had to do some traveling last year, and I had some other catastrophes happen (a roof replacement). I needed to get out from under some debt, and I had a substantial equity in my house to do it with. I'm very satisfied with the results and the workout for me. It was the best thing to do.

I did a HELOC with Amerisave, and the two guys who helped me, Mike and Jesus, were awesome. They were on it with emails. However, it seemed like AmeriSave didn't want to believe my income verification. I'm disabled and I have a private policy through my company. It pays me quite a bit of money. It seemed very hard for them to believe it. I was sending in the same documents several times explaining it to them.
Also even though my homeowner's insurance is paid through my escrow and has a zero balance, they sliced out $1400 for homeowner's insurance. Right when I signed the papers, I noticed the error. I called them and they said they would fix it in escrow. But sure enough, when they funded, that money wasn't there. They sent it to my homeowner's insurance, and my homeowner's insurance said, "If you ever have another check that's canceled, we won't let you be on the payment program for your auto insurance." It caused me a bit of problem even though I was very proactive before the loan was funded. Ultimately, right after it funded, they fixed it and wired me the money. But it was neither Mike's nor Jesus' fault. That is whoever did the escrow instructions and escrow who screwed that up.

I looked up HELOCs and AmeriSave popped up and I talked to them about it. I did a refi and it went really smoothly. I did a lot of it while I was at work on my phone. The process was a lot easier compared to when we first bought a house. Every week, the hoop got smaller and the flame got bigger. We jumped through to get everything done. This time, there was no stress. I was calm and comfortable.
The AmeriSave reps were highly knowledgeable. If we ran into a problem, we solved it and they did their due diligence and they did a fine job. The refi relaxed me a lot. I'm getting out of debt and it removed a lot of stress. I wouldn't go anywhere else right now, and I'd definitely recommend AmeriSave. If someone wanted things to go as smooth as much as they can, that's the best place to go. They're willing to help people.

I was looking for a HELOC and had found one company that was gonna do it one way, but I didn't like their rates for a short period of time. As I was going through the process, I found AmeriSave through Experian. I reached out to them and the representative that I spoke to initially, Chris, answered so many questions for me in a manner that made me feel comfortable to continue pursuing the HELOC with them. They estimated the value and identified the amount that I was looking to do for a HELOC in the type of HELOC that I wanted. Then I got sent over to a mortgage specialist and their name happened to be Chris as well. Once I got with him, it was a matter of credit report. We went through all of the necessary documents to move forward. Working with him was great. He was so personable and relatable.
I finished my application within 20 minutes because I had all my data ready to go. As far as the underwriting, I got an approval for a dollar amount that we were initially looking at the next day. I was shocked at how fast it was. The specialist, Chris, was on top of everything. I told him that I work from home and I had a very flexible schedule. He was really good about staying in communication with me for any needs that he had. He would call me frequently and would be available when I needed to reach out to him for questions. He commented that I was one of the fastest people he's ever worked with to get documentation to him. He asked for something, and he would get it within 5 or 10 minutes. He explained everything through the process until the documents got to be signed with the title escrow company to close out and fund.
It was a pretty straightforward process. I loved their website as well. It was so easy to get to the documents that I needed to or review or upload something. I'd recommend AmeriSave to anybody that I know who would be looking to do what I did. It was one of the best experiences that I've had virtually. They knew my interest and they were trying to help me achieve my goals. They helped me achieve the term that I wanted to based on the dollar amount that I wanted to pay. The rate was great for the length to the point where I wanted to do a rate lock, which I'm glad I did because the rates moved up a couple of days later. It was the first time on a big transaction like this, and it was amazing compared to working with another lender to refinance my home. The AmeriSave experience was hands down better.

I was looking to do a refi to pay off some bills, and I happened to see AmeriSave's ad online. I looked into the company a little bit and went with them. Their process was pretty simple. I spoke to the mortgage guy for half an hour on the phone. Anything they needed, they have a portal where I could upload the documents, and it was very easy. I had to send them all my basic information then they ran my credit. I also had a couple of other loans that I wanted to pay off in the process. They pulled all that information up and took care of everything. They had to send it all through the different processes, then once it all came back, they told me how much I was getting, what was being paid off, and what was coming back to me in cash.
I dealt with two people and they were both very helpful. They handled everything. If I had any questions, I would email and they would email or text or call me back. They were in constant communication through the process. If others are thinking about refinancing, I would tell them to use AmeriSave and I would recommend calling the guy that I used, John.

When I put in a request for quotes for mortgages, AmeriSave called me the quickest. We dealt with their loan officer for a second mortgage on the house, and he got everything set up. Then we got approved and they sent someone to our house to fill out the paperwork. We had some other stuff going on, but William, our initial loan officer, was very responsive and kind. He explained things very clearly and was very clear-headed. He was patient as well. I had a bunch of different questions about different options and he walked me through all of them and gave me insight into different products that I probably wouldn't have known about.
The second guy we dealt with was fine too, but he was always on speakerphone and it was hard to understand him sometimes. Also, I wish that we could just go online to see the current interest rates are and not have to put in our email and all that information so that someone would have to contact us to tell us the approximate interest rates. We had to give a lot of information before we could get the information we wanted back. I wish we could get more information about the different types of loans without having to get specific quotes for all of them. Other than those, AmeriSave was easy to work with. There were deadlines in place, but they were not being harassing about having the decide right then. If you need a mortgage or a home equity loan, you should definitely look into them and see what options they have.

I've had very good relations with AmeriSave. I found them originally through online, and they offered good rates. I was already doing one mortgage with them when I did a home equity loan for my mother. Initially, I dealt with Discover Card and they were incompetent. They said Fannie Mae still owned the mortgage on the house. I said, “No. They don't, ‘cause I paid off Fannie Mae in cash,” but they wouldn't even change anything. They said, “Nope. That's what we have.” I wrote AmeriSave ‘cause they have my mortgage. I said, “Do you know what they're talking about?” They said “No. Even so, we can beat their rate.”
I have two accounts opened up with AmeriSave, and two departments contacted me. One was refinancing my existing mortgage then the other was for the home equity loan. I thought I was talking to the same team for everything, ‘cause they both sound very similar. I responded to one, thinking it was the other, and AmeriSave caught it and combined them into one.
The process was very easy. The reps were all communicating with each other and communicating with me. It wasn't like if I contacted one person, they hadn't talked to another person. The communication was very good and constant. They even help people if they're ignorant. It’s definitely not like with Discover, at least. With Discover, it felt like I was dealing with people in different parts of the country who weren't talking to each other. Maybe it's ‘cause of the way they break up their teams. I was dealing with one team with the people that were on the thread, all were higher and lowers of each other. I'd recommend AmeriSave.

I was on Google looking to see if I qualified for a refinance, and AmeriSave came up as one of the options. I got a call that morning from one of their agents at about eight o'clock. I put the request in at 5:30 so I was very pleased of a quick turnaround. The process with AmeriSave was excellent. I've owned homes ever since I was 23 years old. I've never gone through a refinance processing as seamless and as painless. I was surprised how quick we closed. Their agents would tell me what they need. They would direct me to the site. I would give them what they needed, and the turnaround was very quick. So, I was so impressed with the process. In 7 to 10 days, I had already closed and the money came really quickly.
When I had questions and I reached out to my primary contact, he called me. It was on a weekend. He answered my questions that I came up with, and we went through. There is nothing I could ask more of what I went through. It was very painless and easy for me. You can trust the information that you'll get from AmeriSave. They'll take care of you as far as the information you need so you can make an educated and the best decision for you as a homeowner.
Working with AmeriSave saved me money. It gave me opportunities in the situation that I was in. The loan is the type that I can pay off early. When I needed the service, they were there. It gave me peace of mind and a little more financial freedom that I needed at that time. One thing that was also very good was there were three layers of people that I had to speak with, and they knew my story. They knew my information, and I didn't have to repeat. They hopped in where we were in that process, and helped me to that place. If I had to hand off to the next person, that person knew already where my process was, and I didn't have to repeat. So, I appreciate the internal communication in the process.

A representative from AmeriSave reached out to me promptly about my previous submitted review and assured me that they would look into the matter, I have no other issue with the company at this time.
Original Review: Oct. 23, 2024
I was very disappointed in the way an employee of AmeriSave by the name of Ricky ** handled my application, I made contact with him the morning of Friday October 18th and told him that I had applied with another company looking to do a refi on my current mortgage and they were unable to approve my loan, I told him that this company had done an appraisal and determined that the equity I had in the home was $87,000, however it was not enough to pay all of my creditors off so they could not approve me, I told him that I contacted a company called Rocket Mortgage and told them what happened and within 10 minutes they said that they wouldn't be able to help me either.
This guy Ricky must have been a car salesman in his previous job because he sure did have the gift of gab, he said that the guy at Rocket mortgage probably didn't know what he was doing and that he (Ricky) after pulling a soft credit pull would be able to let me know if his company would be able to help me, after the soft pull we went down the list of creditors and I was giving him a yes or no on what accounts I would like to pay off, he said that he would bring the information to his processing department and get back with me, he called me back that same day Friday October 18th and said that it looks like they would be able to make the loan work for me, he showed me a document with all of the figures on it as far as the amount being financed and the new payment amount, I said everything looks good and thought that everything would move forward.
He said that he would have to do a hard pull on my credit to make sure that there wasn't any problems that didn't show up in the soft pull like liens on the property, bankruptcy etc, but it would cost me $84.00 for the hard pull, although I have never heard of that before I went with it and charged the $84.00 on a credit card that he was supposed to be helping me pay off just to get the application moving on, he (Ricky) contacted me one more time late that Friday and asked if I wanted to go with the interest rate he quoted me earlier or go with one slightly higher which would give me a $5,000 cash out along with paying off the accounts we discused, I chose the lower rate, he said ok, but that he was about to get off work and was going to bring his computer home with him and that he needed me to upload some documents such as a copy of the appraisal done by the other company, income tax returns for the past 2 years, and much more.
He said, "Here's my personal cell phone number in case you need to contact me before I get back to work on Monday." I uploaded about 30 pages of documents to him Friday night and didn't get finished. Too late, so I waited to Saturday to call his cell just to learn if those documents went through or not, I got a message saying that, "The person that you are trying to reach hasn't set up a mail box yet." I tried several times, but to no avail, I waited for him to contact me on Monday and never heard from him, when Tuesday came and I still didn't hear from him, I sent him a message to the email on his company account asking why I haven't heard from him and I got an email back with some excuse about his computer was down over the weekend, but that the underwriters said that they couldn't make the loan for me unless I gave them $20K...
My main complaint is not getting the loan approved because I have found a bank to make it for me, my complaint is with the unprofessional way that this employee Ricky ** ignored me for two days which may have been more if even at all if I would not have sent him an email for an explanation, AmeriSave may be a legitimate company and one to do business with but be aware if your case worker is Ricky **.

I did a second mortgage to take some equity out of my property. I went with a lender I use for other things, but they didn't wanna do it. I filled out one of those "Get offers" type of things and got a bunch of calls from different people. A guy from AmeriSave called me on a Sunday and he was very down-to-earth. He moved things forward very seamlessly, where the others were a pain to deal with. So, right out of the gate, it was a very smooth process. The guy did a good job and my decision in choosing to go with AmeriSave was because of that guy's first call. Their rates and terms were also competitive for what they were at the time. The federal interest rate went down a week after I had signed, but that's not anything on AmeriSave. I would recommend them.

I have a mortgage on the house that I live in with AmeriSave and when I looked for a home equity loan on my rental house, I used them as well. Both the loan originator and the young lady that helped me get to closure were very helpful and patient. I like the way they kept giving me feedback. They kept me posted all along.
The process took about a month and AmeriSave could improve on asking the same information over and over. I had to send proof of insurance for the two rental houses and taxes twice. Then they just kept wanting some information that neither one of the insurance companies had ever heard of. They researched it and found and sent what AmeriSave wanted but I don't understand why my rental houses were so important to me getting a loan when my salary and credit score already qualified. There was also something I wasn't able to upload, and I had to send it by text and let it be uploaded that way. That process got a little tedious. It could be more customer-friendly.
I had the same person to come and appraise the house. Because they were so close together, he just walked in and walked out. He under-appraised my house ‘cause he didn't notice what I had done to improve over the time that I did the home equity and refinanced it again. He was the same appraiser that went to appraise my other property, and he even did worse there. I put in a brand new $10,000 bathroom but on the appraisal, he put a picture of the half-bath instead of the full bath. I don't want to deal with him anymore. If AmeriSave uses him exclusively because he lives in Goldsboro, they need to find somebody else.
I wouldn't recommend AmeriSave to my family and friends. I'm not satisfied with them for my personal home because I'm paying a lot of extra mortgage, insurance, FHA, and the principal. I'm paying them almost $2,000 a month and only 100 and some dollars towards the principal. I'm looking for a way to get out of that contract. When I got the home equity, the monthly payment was $1,700 but it has gone up $200 while I'm financing it. They told me it was the insurance company. I called the insurance company but they said it was AmeriSave. I don't know who's telling the truth.

AmeriSave's reps crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's. They made me aware of what I needed to do, what they needed to do, and they gave me updates. They told me tell me to make sure to check my portal and emails because they may send something then I got to respond to it in a timely manner. They also answered all my questions and they took their time. Sometimes it would be 9:00 at night and we would be trying to gather information. But they were really patient and the time wasn't an issue with them. It was like they were available at morning, noon, and night. Since working with them, I can breathe a little easier now because I could be more flexible in what I need to do and move forward in life. If you want to refinance, get a mortgage, loan, or equity line of credit, look at AmeriSave and talk to them to see what you need to do.

We didn't use Amerisave the first time the rep reached out. We were thinking about it but eventually, we followed back up and used them. We liked the approach and the style of Victor, the loan officer. He wasn’t pushy. There was one other person who worked with us. Both were very good at communication. We refinanced our loan and did an FHA. We were told what the process would look like and what the documentation would be that they needed.
The process went quickly, even with them having the appraiser come out. We closed within 30 days because they were very clear about what they needed. They were very proactive in following up. When they sent us a document, they literally would tell me that a document is coming my way and it's gonna be in my portal. They would call me and not wait to see if I checked. Usually, they call within a couple of hours. I would get on, review, and send it back. So, we both were responsive to each other. If there was a delay in anything, it was only once or twice. We got a call on the day telling us that there would be a slight delay but they'd be following up within 24 hours. So it went smoothly. Exactly what they told us to expect happened and there were no missteps or hiccups.
I'm not easily satisfied, but AmeriSave wowed me. I was wild with their service. The experience I had far exceeded my expectations and I'm a hard rater. So people should give them a try if they're interested in getting or refinancing a mortgage. I wanted them particularly to be the ones to handle my daughter's refinancing in North Carolina but they weren’t licensed to do the loan there.

Any questions I had if I didn't understand something or why, they had no problem spending the time to explain to me exactly what it was that they needed and why they needed it. I would recommend AmeriSave Mortgage to people. I had a great experience with them. I did four different quotes for mortgages, and they gave me the best deal and explained it so I could understand it clearly, made everything run smooth faster than I expected. I enjoyed. Their rep called me back. When I pulled up my other offers, I let him compare and he explained to me why this is higher on this end and lower on this end and how much I would save in comparison, and what my best routes were. When I showed it to one of my other bank reps, he said, “I can't compare.” Also, the rep's voicemail is very clear, so if I had to call him, he usually called me back with his voicemail right away. He was punctual and easy to talk to. The title guys were fast even straight down to my notary. It was great.

If you're looking for a home equity line of credit or a conventional loan, whatever you're looking for, as far as trying to get some extra funding or money to home improvement, whatever you decide to do with the money, AmeriSave would be the go-to company. It's trustworthy, honest, and straightforward. They're very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. It's refreshing to have that with all of the scams and the untrustworthy companies out there.
I vetted a few calls. I had AmeriSave Mortgage, which was Jessica, and West Lenders. It was three of them that I narrowed it down to. Due to Jessica's due diligence, guidance, understanding, patience, and professional knowledge that she shared, I narrowed it down to her and another gentleman. Her due diligence superseded the other gentleman. Jessica and I corresponded for a week and a half. Every question or concern I had, she was able to give me an answer or if she didn't know it right away, she did her due diligence and would call me right back. She would find out the information, bring it back to me. She corresponded via email, if necessary, and her responses to me were very expedient and informational. So, I was confident. I felt secure. There was a relationship that was built on trust through her. I decided to go with her because she made me comfortable and feel like family.
The application process is cut and dry. I asked a lot of questions because I didn't wanna go into something without the full knowledge and understanding of what I was doing. The rep also worked out the best interest rate for me and best mortgage payment that I was very comfortable with, after going back to the drawing board four times. It was tedious, but simple.

The reps were cordial and diligent in getting back to me if I had a question. They were also diligent in processing everything that needed to be processed so everything was processed very quickly. She was trying to access the information more than once, which was aggravating. She was difficult to deal with and pretentious. Conner was amazing at first but he dropped off the earth. I was gonna get a HELOC from them, but he said they were not gonna make much money off it.
If you go from getting a refinance then you stay with them to get another thing, you'd think that they would work with you a little bit more but they didn't. Anybody's main goal is to make money and that was what Amerisave's thing was. They're a bit expensive but they always say, "We don't make a lot of money on this." Once they get you on a refinance, if it's anything else that you want that they think they're not gonna make much money out of, they don't care about you anymore. I wouldn't go back to Amerisave after this. At first, I was satisfied but as they went to the last one and I saw what their actions were like, I was very aggravated.

When I was wanting to get out of some other debts, I filled out a quick questionnaire on Facebook and Amerisave was the first one to call me that was polite. I had a couple of others call me that were pushy and I don't deal with pushy when they want my money. The process with Amerisave was straightforward and painless. It ended up two months and there were three people I worked with. There was the initial one that contacted me based on what I filled out on the questionnaire and he walked me through all of the getting all the forms filled out and submitting my documentation because I have VA stuff and some other documentation that they needed from me. He quit about the last three weeks of it and there was a lady that I was dealing with that replaced him which didn't affect anything. Then I had another gentleman that I dealt with. It was a couple of emails and one or two phone calls.
The process with Amerisave was a whole lot quicker than my other mortgage was, and I'd recommend them. The only thing that I didn't like was that they flipped it so quick after the fact. I haven't even gotten my first mortgage payment made yet when they sold it to another company as the servicing first people so Amerisave doesn't hold the mortgage anymore. My first payment is still not due until the 1st of November. The last week of September was when I was notified that AmeriSave was no longer dealing with me and it was another company now. I sat in my car, she was on the phone with me for maybe two hours, but we did the application together. It was great.
Once the loan was processed, there was someone else that we worked with to get the disbursement of the loan. We would have loved a lower rate and we're hoping that we can, at some point, refinance this because we have it for a while now, but it was okay. We just needed to get it done. I'm a teacher and I needed it done in the summer because it's too much to deal with all that paperwork during the school year.
The disbursement of the loan was a little wonky. They would only send it out in checks and they sent the checks to me, and then I had to send the checks to our creditors to pay them off and it just felt strange. In this day and age, when everything was done so well virtually, it would have been so much smoother to wire these creditors. Two checks are still lost. So, it made more work for everybody.

AmeriSave sent me a letter to send a check and the money for my payment but they wouldn't return my calls. Also, the paper that says to send it only has a fax number. I couldn't send the payment because I had to change all my bank information and the bank didn't send me the check until about a week ago. I kept calling AmeriSave to see what was happening or how I can pay it through the telephone. It was very confusing because the rep said, "We're calling to collect a debt from you." It's a very big, bad word. I just gave the payment two days ago because I couldn't get them. When Amerisave is getting all your information, they are very good about that. They call you right back. But after the case was closed, they didn't wanna answer. That was very upsetting.

We inquired about a home equity loan a few months back and the AmeriSave reps were very friendly and answered all the questions. However, things weren't working out at that particular time. So when the time was right, here in the last month, we were able to get back in touch with the same gentleman, and he always made himself available. I wasn't blowing up his phone and calling him all the time. I would send him emails, because I knew that I was not his only customer. There'll be times when we might have a question, and it's a Sunday. I would send off an email, saying, “I'll probably get an answer sometime tomorrow morning.” No. Within two to three hours, I got an answer back. I knew that he was still monitoring his email and willing to help out his customers even when he wasn't working. That was awesome.
I liked how the process went, how open AmeriSave was upfront, answering all the questions all the way through, and the way they handled the closing. They made it very customer-friendly for us to be able to get that completed. I also liked how they talked and how they walked us through the process. When we first started talking about things, they said the normal time process is anywhere from four to six weeks. I thought, “Okay. Anybody I've ever talked to that’s went through this process says the same thing.” But AmeriSave also said, “We always try to get things done inside that four weeks.”
They were able to get things done just inside four weeks. From start to finish, it took three and a half weeks, and I'm not disappointed with the APR. I did a bit of shopping to see what kind of rates were out there, and AmeriSave was right in line with what everybody else was doing. If someone's looking for somebody who's gonna let them know what the rate is, what the terms are gonna look like, and any issues that might pop up or if they're looking for somebody that's gonna walk them all the way through the process, I’d highly recommend AmeriSave. I would give them the gentleman's email address and contact information as well.

AmeriSave's process is straightforward. It took a little while and just like any major loan, they needed a lot of information and there were some hiccups along the way but it ended up being successful. They're very honest with you and keep you updated, which is really all you can ask for. My loan officer and the processor were very helpful, very easy to reach, and very helpful whenever I had any questions because I had a lot of them.
If Avery wasn't able to answer the call, he called me back very quickly or sent me a text message. So, there was never any period of waiting for information. He would even respond even if he didn't have any updates for me. He would still let me know instead of just leaving me hanging and waiting. Sometimes, what he had wasn't what I wanted to hear yet, but at least updates are great instead of not knowing what's going on.

It was an easy process. They helped me stay on track by repeatedly giving me the call that we needed, "We have this document from you, but we need this." From top to bottom, it was a great experience for me. I'm a very busy person and they were able to work with me and get everything in the quick turnaround time. They helped me out a ton. I do some real estate too. I wanted to invest in the side of it. But I understand the market and, so far as what they gave me versus what's available on the market, I don't think I was at any disadvantage there. They were completely honest throughout the process and told me what my introductory rate was versus me taking lower money and the rate being bumped slightly. Other than that, I had no issues with the rate.

He was so helpful because I didn't have a clue what I was doing or what I needed to do next. He walked me through the process step-by-step. He was always there. If I had any questions, he was phenomenal. The portal was a great help, where I could just get information and upload stuff to the portal. But then I'm not very tech-savvy. If I had any questions about how to do something, he would walk me right through it. So he made it very, very easy.
The process was done in a timely fashion. It was done when they said it would be done. They had the appraiser come out. They handled everything. If you're looking to do a mortgage or a loan, go through AmeriSave because they made it so easy. It was an amazing experience because I got this mortgage to do some home repairs on my house. I was hesitant at first in 2022 because I'd never heard of them and they offered me the lowest rate. Everybody else was giving me 5%. They offered me something lower and I got a 3.75% interest rate on the loan. Up until this last one with the home loan, the person that I spoke to broke it down and the reasoning why I should take a home loan instead of an equity line of credit. I said, "Thank you. You came back with an open felony case, so we won't do it.” I was then scrambling to find anybody willing to do the loan for me. I had to get my ex-wife's name off the property. I did the refi with Amerisave and the process was difficult. It was time consuming and drawn out. It's a manufactured home, so that caused some issues. After 2008, a lot of lending laws changed. That made it a little more difficult than it needed to be.
The loan agent that I originally talked to, Dalton, was excellent. Any question I had to ask him, he was on top of it and got answers for me. But there were a lot of hoops I had to jump through. I had to do a lot of legwork. I would think they would have a checklist of stuff they know they're gonna need in advance. I needed a manufacture date and had to prove when the house got put on the land, which I could not find. Then they told me about some place that should have those kind of records. I had to pay for that report and the report came back with the exact information I'd already provided. My ex-wife was the bookkeeper of everything so I was trying to learn where everything was at, and I happened to stumble on an old tax record, which was good enough to prove when the house was put on the property.
Then they told me I needed another report. I told them I was not paying for another one. I already paid for my appraisal and for that report. I was almost out of $1,000 before I even had a loan. That got me a little agitated. I was also hoping for lower rates, but everything's higher right now. I couldn’t have refinanced at a worse time.

The rates are high compared to my first mortgage, but that's the name of the game today. However, they sold the servicing of the mortgage to somebody. I got a letter yesterday and I'm confused about how and when I'm gonna make a payment, and I've already made an extra payment.

I wanted to explore on investing my loan and having a better return of investment. I got a second mortgage home loan from AmeriSave. I submitted an inquiry online, and somebody reached out to me immediately and discussed with me the whole process of the application. And then immediately, I submitted the requirements. The first thing is to submit the application online. And then they sent me a list of what is needed to be completed. It was indicated on the online application portal. So, I did submit all of those and communicated via the portal or email with the lender. The application was an easy process. Everything was very clear and specific, and it indicated the documents that needs to be uploaded. So, whenever it's uploaded, it's completed. It only shows what is incomplete and the status like you only have one or two missing information to complete the full application.
The process wasn't too long. It was just the back and forth of having to pay my existing loan with another company. It messed up the payment on my old loan with the other company. I had to apply for a refund for the overpayment, which up to now I haven't received. So, there should be a better way of doing it where there's no cross transactions of me and the company I owed money to and for the mortgage company to pay that company. That was very inconvenient, and I didn't like that process at all.
It would have been better if transfer of payment would be electronically done. That way, I could have prevented an overpayment and then waiting on what is going on with my refund, which I really don't know yet up to this point how long I'm gonna get the refund. If I had concerns, I sent them an email. There would be a few times I would call, and always got directed to the lender or the filing company which had the last procedure on completing the process in terms of liquidating whatever balance I had from my my prior loan. So, I don't get the answers right away, especially with the overpayment.

The rep, Tracy, had an answer for all the questions and we went quickly. AmeriSave was very efficient and fast. Working with her, it took two and a half hours all together, and 20 phone calls. I got a loan, and I did most of the process on the phone and online on my phone 'cause I don't have a computer that works. I gave AmeriSave the basic information, then when we closed, the power of attorney brought all the legal papers, and I got a copy. The rates were high, but 11 is better than 25, and I was desperate at the time. My wife passed away and it was spur of the moment type of thing. I needed help 'cause she left a bunch of bills I didn't know I had. Overall, I'd recommend AmeriSave.

Everything was done through email or by phone other than the closing, and AmeriSave arranged that. The application process was easy and they got you in touch with one of their representatives. Then, they finished it up and crunched numbers. We were on the phone for a little bit because the rep was trying to figure out what to do. He was very professional and did a thorough job. If I had concerns, I’d get a reply quickly. The best way was either a text message or an email. AmeriSave helped me pay off high-interest-rate credit cards. So, it helped a whole lot. It was a very good experience and it was very smooth. When you're dealing with mortgages, there's a lot of back and forth that can happen but mine didn’t have a bunch of complications or problems.

I went online to LendingTree.com, entered my information and said I was interested in learning more about a mortgage. Within five seconds of me entering that, the phone rang and it was AmeriSave. They were very responsive. However, something got mixed up in the communications process during the loan approval process that made things inconvenient. It was related to my wife's name. The data that the notary got back wasn't correct and we tried to get it changed. But the mortgage papers came through with the wrong names and information on them and we had to go back, start over and have the notary come back. That was crazy. I blamed the notary originally, but she said, no, she didn't get the new information from AmeriSave. Other than that, the customer service was helpful. In this world of everything happening over the phone, the experience was as good as I could've imagined.

I was looking for a home equity loan and AmeriSave was one of the first to reach out. They had reasonable rates for what the market's going for. At first I thought I wanted a HELOCK, a line of credit, but their rep talked me out of it and explained to me that what was better was that HELOAN. So I liked the sales rep. He was knowledgeable and it seemed like a reasonable rate. I also checked one other company just to make sure they were honest and it seemed okay. The application and underwriting took a couple of weeks and when it was all said and done, the rate was still within what I expected it to be. Also, there were fees involved, which were the expected closing costs for a mortgage, but they rolled them into the loan.

I picked AmeriSave Mortgage because of the initial conference I had with their rep. He was the best one I talked to and very quick about answering me. It was difficult for me to get into the portal and that is where all the answers were. I didn't have a clear line of communication to the underwriters. Sometimes I had to go back to my rep and have him tell me. That could have been better communications after it was handed off to underwriting. Also, it was a bit higher interest than I was originally told, but I understand the reasons.

Also, I had to do a little bit more of the backup paperwork than I thought I would have to, plus the communication between a couple of the agents was a little off. I have two mortgages with AmeriSave. The first process was really good. But the second one was not. The rep that pre-approved me did great. But the person that helped the mortgage guy was a pain in the butt. They made me upload several of the same documents, and told me that we couldn't close the house because my wife didn't sign the disclosure, even though it wasn't sent to her, but then came to find out they mailed the disclosures to the new address we were trying to purchase. She told me that she emailed the disclosures but my wife never got them, so she couldn't sign them.
When we closed on the house and got the key to the mailbox, all the disclosures were in there. That's some sensitive information as far as I'm concerned. I don't need anybody else seeing that stuff. But when uploading documents, Amerisave's whole system is great. They have plenty of room to add as many documents as you want. I really like it. I like to do things myself and that worked really well for me. The first time that we used Amerisave would have been quicker, but we were waiting on my employer to give me a moving bonus. But on Amerisave's end, it was quick. Overall, I would still recommend AmeriSave. I had a good experience with everybody except for that one lady.

I've recommended AmeriSave to a couple of my friends that have gone to my house and I told them how it was easy. Everything was online. Compared to a local loan officer, they work with certain Realtors more than other Realtors. So they were easy to work with. My Realtor didn't have any issue getting back and forth and it was her first time working with them as well. The website is up to date and user-friendly. I had previously done a refinance through AmeriSave, and I liked the turnaround time. This time, I did a home equity loan. The process was straightforward. I went to the website. There was a quick questionnaire that I completed with my data. They pulled my credit. Then somebody called me. There were two people that I worked with. They send me reminders of the outstanding documents, and the portal is clearly labeled as to where I need to upload something. If I need to upload my W-2, they have a drop section for the W-2. If I need it for my tax return, they have a separate section for it. So at any stage, you can see which documents are open. If you accidentally upload it into the wrong section, they'll move it over and then reopen that section.
A first person does an official intake and assessment, and then there is somebody else who tries to bring you over the finish line. They're supposed to be working hand in hand. The last time, I had paid for a rate lock, and for whatever reason, that rate lock got erased. So, I kept having to call the original person to go back and look through the documents to see that I paid for the rate lock, even though on the portal, it shows that I paid for it. Whenever you do a rate lock, you have to stay on top of them because every time the underwriter picks up the file and makes comments, the rate lock goes away.

Just started a 2nd mortgage last week. Loan originator, Ashlin was immediately pushy, kept telling, "We have a deadline & basically refused to let me think and breathe over this choice. She used pressure salesmanship tactics to try to sell me that Amerisave was the right choice, she urged me to read & sign docs she would send me the moment we met on the phone. The hour was late, but she didn't care. Red flags there. She again pushed me to hearing from her partner, Tammie, the loan processor the very next day. Early in the am, Tammie called. When I told her I had a bad migraine, was taking muscle relaxant, she ignored me. Her tone got impatient with me & like Ashlin, kept insisting, "We have a strict deadline." I was in no shape to make any important decision. Tammie frustrated in her tone finally relented & offered to call me back just a few hours later.
When later in the afternoon, Tammie called back & pressured me into reading & signing while she was on the phone with me. It was so bizarre, unprofessional to feel like I was under a gun to get THEIR DEADLINE satisfied. Just about a week later, Tammie tells me I've been approved. She sends me closing docs, urges me to read & sign them ASAP, informs me the notary will be contacting me the next day & basic closing rules. Notary never contacted me. Then I see another closing doc. This one now informs me Amerisave has designated loan servicer, Dovenmuehle to process my loan payments from now on. GOOGLE: Dovenmuehle, customer reviews! 700+ 1.3 stars. WTHELL!
No mortgage company that respects their customers pawns them onto a vile, disgustingly incompetent, lazy, mortgage servicer that Dovenmuehle is. Immediately, I sent both Tammie & Ashlin emails demanding to "cancel my loan, cancel the notary." Dovenmuehle was the deal breaker! Both reps refused to read my demands, both insisted I must be "confused," & repeated that I needed to reconsider. About 5 years prior, I had refinanced my home. This new mortgage company transferred my loan to be serviced by Dovenmuehle. Almost from Day 1, I was being threatened of losing my home insurance/taxes for nonpayment. You see, I had impounded that money with my mortgage payments & it was Dovenmuehle's only job to make sure my money went where it was due BY THE DUE DATE.
Dovenmuehle didn't care I was getting urgent late calls from State Farm agents! Or that my taxes weren't being paid on time & now I was facing penalties and late fees because they didn't care to do their one job. The tax payment was only 1 day short of me having to pay penalties & fees. SF ins had to keep getting super's approval to move the grace period. (Only by refinancing once again was I able to get away from Dovenmuehle.) I demanded by email that Tammie & Ashlin "cancel this loan." After several emails repeating my experiences with their Dovenmuehle and demanding they acknowledge my request to cancel, I have been ignored and treated like a child. AmeriSave reps are bullies. They harass and hound their customers. It's clear. My next step will be CFPB, & my state AG to file complaints against this company for their lack of professionalism & lousy behavior.

While Amerisave ended up helping our situation, he wouldn't let me sit back and take a minute to think about it. Everything had to be done then. He didn't want me shopping around and I did not appreciate the high-pressure tactics.
I would have appreciated a better explanation of what he closing costs were for. He didn't say anything about adding 10 grand to it to buy points to reduce the interest rate. We ended up spending money to lower our interest rate and he wanted us to pay 582 upfront to lock our rate in. They were a little shady and misrepresentative about where the fees were gonna go and who was gonna take care of them. I would have liked to see a more clear-cut way to shop rates. I could've ended up saving some money on the closing costs if I went through Omaha. But in today's market, I'm pleased with the rate overall. Once we got over to the underwriter and he started helping us out with some stuff for the guy who was dealing with the underwriters, he came up with some solutions to some problems we were having. I was very pleased with that one.

I went online and looked at a couple of things and all kinds of phone calls and emails came in. But AmeriSave was one of the first ones that called. Other than the loan officer, I talked to somebody prior to that. I am not completely computer-savvy and he walked me through everything. He was great. I get very frustrated with the computer but it was a very easy process. It was step by step and if there was something that I couldn't get into or couldn't find, they helped me tremendously. There was a delay, but that wasn't their fault. I had some issues that I had to take care of before we could process. If I didn't have to have a couple of things done at the house before that, it would have just been three weeks and they probably could have gotten it done even quicker than that.
I was a first-time home buyer when I first bought my house and even with rates as high as what they are right now, I was locked into a rate that's lower than what my original rate was 15 years ago. I would encourage people to use AmeriSave. I had a positive experience and I don't see why somebody else wouldn't. I wouldn't think that they would treat anybody else any differently than they did me.

I called my insurance company and let them know of my intent of refinancing. I asked questions about AmeriSave and they told me they do a lot of business with them and they get positive response from them. AmeriSave contacted me and everything went well. It was confirmed through my insurance company when they told me that they communicate with AmeriSave a lot. AmeriSave was amazing. When I applied for the refinance, I was in the middle of renovation. They were patient to make sure that upon the appraisal, I was able to get close to completing the renovation so I could get a better view of the value of the property. They had good communication. I got email messages and they let me know when I had a task to do.

The person from AmeriSave who first reached out to me was very friendly and personable. He gave me a lot of information right at the beginning and it sounded like he tried. The process started straightforward, very easy and simplistic. Every time I had a conversation with the representative, he always ended the conversation by telling me not to hesitate to call if I needed any help and that he was with me every time on any question that I had. But that's where it stopped. I would call, email and text, and nobody would reply to me. Then, the second person told me that he would be taking over from the first person. He did most of the loaning. He wasn't personable at all and was ignoring my phone calls, my texts and my emails all the time. He told me the same thing the first person did about giving them a call. But they just wouldn't answer, for some reason.
During the application online, some misinformation was on there that I didn't want in the contract and wanted to be changed. I asked the two people I was dealing with to change the escrow. I said I wanna pay my own insurance because I was the president of the Condominium Association. I'd like to redo the insurance every five years and when they had put it on escrow, I asked them to remove it and they would not reply or get back to me. There was a satisfaction thing that I sent in and I told them I wasn't very happy about that and I started hearing back from them. AmeriSave is your basic, average lender. A lot of people who do this type of thing are all the same. They come up personable, but when you have questions and stuff, they're very hard to get ahold of. There's nothing special about them.

The people from AmeriSave were very personable, very knowledgeable, and were able to break things down very specifically for me that made me feel more confident in them. They were very confident in their information, always on top of things, getting back with me on things that I needed for the application, and they were very prompt in getting back with me and letting me know what I needed to get the process to keep it going. Luckily, I was able to get the documents quickly, too.

I applied for a second mortgage thru AmeriSave and everything was done online. I was very comfortable with the customer service reps that I spoke with and they were knowledgeable. Whenever I had a question, I texted them and they texted me back. The rate they gave me was very good and the terms were better than some of the ones that reached out to me. Everything went smoothly and I would recommend AmeriSave. It was a fast and easy process.

My contact at Amerisave was awesome. He walked me through the whole process. He was one of the rare ones that said, “I'll stick with you through this whole process. You can call me any time.” With my situation, I needed to make sure that somebody did that. I was going through a difficult time with a pre-foreclosure. I had one of those zombie loans that popped up about a year ago. It was silent for almost 14 years then all of a sudden it showed up and told me I owed 200 and something thousand dollars. It was all interest. I worked with my lawyer to get everything verified and AmeriSave did what most lenders could not do, which was get me through this process. They saved us and were there with us. When I was running against the timeline, they escalated it and got the executives involved. They made it a priority and got it going. There would be a string of email from all the different areas trying to get everybody back on the same page.

I am having some issues. AmeriSave told me that my first bill was due on the 1st. So, I started trying to pay last week. I ended up calling in to AmeriSave. They said, “Okay. Let's figure it out.” It turned out that they sold my loan, so I couldn't make my payment. Other than that, I liked AmeriSave Mortgage's interest rate. I'm very organized, so all of the documents that they requested, I already have them in files on my computer. There wasn't a lot of wait to retrieve. It was a couple-day process. I would be on the phone with them, and they would say, “Okay. This is what we need.” So, I would upload them as the rep would tell. And we just go to the next thing. The communication was clear. The person that communicated with me was consistent and responsive to my messages. Although it took a while and there was a lot of questions, I was never for days in the dark.
I was comfortable. 1 out of 10, I was a 10. It got weird at one point because there was another AmeriSave representative that had reached out to me mid-process and was, “I heard you were interested. Let's get your paperwork.” I said, “I just did this application.” He said, “But I don't see it.” I got his loan officer number. I went to my original person. He said, “He's also another person, but it's from a different state. And that's probably why he wasn't able to see your application.” Everything else was fine.

When I got with AmeriSave, I came across a couple of agents and ended up getting with Jana who's licensed in almost every state. She was amazing. She was supposed to go on maternity leave, but she had two active people, me included, so she postponed her maternity leave. She helped all the way up until she had her baby.
The application process with Amerisave was very simple. I've owned other houses where I've had to go in and do it. It's way more simple online with Amerisave and if you have questions, you call and they walk you right through it. If I call the 1-800 number, they instantly send me to my agent, Jana. She also gave me her personal cellphone number so I could contact her. We were at a different time zone, and there were times it was 11 o'clock at night but she was available for me. The process went a lot faster than I thought. We were needing to move in a rush, so they pushed it for me. They went above and beyond and did it faster than normal because they knew I needed to. If you need a mortgage company, go right to Amerisave.

My experience with AmeriSave was great. They worked my refi and the service was great from beginning to end. Everyone I worked with was great, thorough and they followed up, which was huge. The communication was clear and consistent. The responsiveness was great when I had questions. And I had a lot of questions. It might have taken longer and that was my fault. There was a name change for me as well because I had gotten married and my old mortgage was still in my maiden name. There were some stuff that the AmeriSave guys and gals had to do to get that all straightened out. That was above and beyond and not expected on their part, but it was great.

I had three companies that reached out to me and AmeriSave seemed like the best choice. When I talked to AmeriSave, they seemed good to work with. The process was pretty good and straightforward. They had their online web portal that prompted me for certain documents, and I just provided all the documents they asked. My loan officer was very professional, and always making a lot of follow-up calls. Even though I wasn't available, he still accepted the call, and I gave him a call back when I had time. So as far as following up and staying on top of it, he was very good at that. He was very good at explaining my options and what his recommendations are, and the data in the area since this was my first time home purchase, so everything was new. It wasn't too complicated or stressful.
The online application was super convenient. Everything was there. I didn't have to talk to somebody for every little thing. I just had the direction on what documents or information to provide. I followed the directions and it made it quite easy. Once I put the offer down, we closed really quick. It was within three weeks. They bumped it up a few days to have it closed sooner. It happened really quick relatively from what my real estate agent told me. So everything was smooth and easy. I’m glad about it. Amerisave was great to work with and they helped me every step of the way.

AmeriSave was very responsive and approachable. They called me right back. We felt at ease with everything. I never had to wonder what was happening next. Every step of the way, they kept me informed. I like the transparency of everything that was happening as it was happening. Any question I had, they were very direct. Everything from soup to nuts was perfect. I've had other lenders before and this was the best one by far.

I had some pretty big payments on some companies that charge pretty heavy interest rates and the debt-to-income was getting ridiculous. I was lucky to have a dollar left over after the gas prices and insurance going up. Everything you look at, the price is going up except for my income. So I had to do something. Amerisave consolidated those loans for me and put them over a longer period of time. But it helped get my payments down to the point I had a dollar or two left over to buy some food. Communication was very good. They helped me understand and coached me how to send the information they needed. But after we thought we had all the information we needed, they'd come back and need something else. That was at the very last. In fact, a couple of times, it was after I've been approved.

AmeriSave was great. I was working with a lender, and when they found out that my sole source of income was a rental property in Mexico, they said that that was too risky and they dropped me, and AmeriSave didn’t. AmeriSave’s online application process was tedious. It took like two months to get the loan. They were very friendly but the information gathering took at least six weeks. They wanted everything but my first-born child. It was crazy. They needed all kinds of information on my Mexican property and taxes. I had an unusual situation because I'm retired other than my income from the rental property in Mexico.
Other than that, they were very nice, very responsive and very professional the entire time. They wanted me to upload cumbersome files, and I'm a 64-year-old retired person. I hate technology. So, I would just send things to the lady that I was working with instead of going through their online app. Then she would upload it for me. So, they were really good to me that way. They worked with me.
