Working with AmeriSave Mortgage for a HELOC was great overall, although there were some back and forth during the process regarding document submissions, especially related to my homeowners' policy. Despite this, everything else went smoothly, and I ultimately felt comfortable working with the loan officer because he was personable and made the experience relatable.
The rates and terms offered by AmeriSave were fair, and impressively, the whole process wrapped up pretty quickly—we closed within a month. AmeriSave is good to work with due to their efficient service and quality customer experience.
However, I'd rate their online tools a 4 out of 5 for ease of navigation. Sometimes the document upload requests were unclear, which seemed to stem from a mismatch between what my agent advised and what appeared on the portal. Hopefully, improved consistency in document request visibility could enhance the user experience.

I found AmeriSave Mortgage on Google. They have the lowest interest rate. However, when they ask for information and I provide it, they ask for it again 10 days later. It was quite frustrating, especially since these requests were made well before the information was even needed. The customer support was generally reliable, with quick responses to my inquiries, but I had issues with the underwriting team. Despite fulfilling their requests promptly, there were long delays in their responses. They would often return to say that the documents were outdated, further prolonging the process. After closing the mortgage, I was surprised to find that within 30 days, my loan was transferred, and within 60 days, it was transferred again, bringing me back to my initial lender. Despite these rapid changes, there were no modifications to my interest rates or terms.

I got a second mortgage, which was for home improvement. The entire process was smooth from the start. I initially engaged with AmeriSave through LendingTree, where I encountered numerous calls, but answering AmeriSave was the right choice. Their prompt and professional approach stood out from the beginning, and I was quickly confident in proceeding with them after comparing other lenders.
The loan consultant I worked with was excellent at breaking down the products, options, and procedures—maintaining a friendly, yet not overbearing demeanor. Communication primarily happened through email, which kept things organized and transparent. Even when I transitioned from consultant to loan processor, my initial contact remained accessible for any additional queries I had.
The speed of processing was impressive, taking less than a month which was quicker than I anticipated. The mortgage rates and terms seemed reasonable. Although, briefly considered I could have negotiated more aggressively, but decided the convenience and professionalism outweighed any potential savings in rate concessions. If asked, I’d attribute AmeriSave’s strengths to their professionalism and diligent communication.

I might have had a loan with AmeriSave 40 years ago. I remember the company. The process of obtaining the mortgage was fantastic. I worked with someone who might have been Alexis, and she was truly supportive throughout. Any questions or concerns I had were promptly addressed. Given my role in property management, I'm familiar with lending, and this experience was seamless and positive.
Navigating the website was simple once I got past an initial hiccup, but once I had my login details, everything became straightforward. The overall process was not stressful and quite manageable. However, a small drawback was how they required me to mail checks to credit card companies for paying off balances. Managing this was cumbersome because I had to manually ensure account numbers were in place. So, it would have been easier if they allowed me to have more control over these payments.
Despite this, having this mortgage has improved my finances significantly. I'm hopeful it will allow me additional freedom and possibly assist me in retiring by year-end. Previously, I was paying a substantial amount towards credit cards, and now that burden is gone. My only minor gripe was being given more funds than I needed. I just wanted to pay off credit cards, not receive extra cash, though it might be useful for future payments.

I called AmeriSave for a renovation loan rather spontaneously without much exploration of other lenders. My experience with them was enjoyable. The entire mortgage process from application to closing probably took about 20 days, which I found to be quite efficient. The communication with the AmeriSave team was spot on, and overall, the process was seamless. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience.

Overall, we had a pretty positive experience with AmeriSave. Our original mortgage rate was in the high 2s, but working with AmeriSave allowed us to lock in at about 5.6%. Even though another company offered a slightly lower rate at 5.2%, I felt they were too pushy. That wasn't the case with AmeriSave at all.
Eileen, the loan officer I worked with was helpful. She was very professional, offering all the information we needed without making us feel pressured. Unlike some other companies, Eileen's approach was more relaxed—she didn't bombard us with follow-up calls or messages.
I felt more comfortable and confident choosing AmeriSave, largely thanks to Eileen's straightforward and respectful interaction. I would give them a five-star rating.

Initially, an AmeriSave representative outlined what to expect while assessing my credit. Afterwards, another person took over during the approval phase, consistently updating me on progress without any prompting from my side, which I appreciated.
Their professionalism and the proactive communication style truly impressed me. Throughout the one and a half-week process, they ensured everything flowed seamlessly, accelerating where necessary. Choosing a fixed interest rate with them over a HELOC gave me peace of mind, knowing my payments wouldn't shift unpredictably with the market.
While AmeriSave's terms and rates were favorable compared to exploring other products, their customer service truly stood out, meriting a high recommendation. Although the website was fairly intuitive, rating it a 4 out of 5 for ease of use, the entire experience left me confident enough to recommend them, as my daughter is exploring similar options with them now.

AmeriSave Mortgage was one of several companies I applied to and they were the ones who reached out to me. My initial interest stemmed from discovering them through Google.
The mortgage process with AmeriSave was decent, albeit a bit lengthy, taking roughly two months or more. The online application was somewhat manageable. They provided portals for us to use, and whenever I needed support, I called the representative who guided us through the process. My wife, being computer savvy, handled most of the online tasks efficiently. The application and underwriting stage lasted about a week.
The representative we worked with was friendly and responsive on calls, answering all our questions.
AmeriSave played a role in refinancing our house, which positively impacted our situation. If asked, I would recommend giving them a shot. Overall, I would rate my experience with AmeriSave Mortgage as 4 out of 5.

I had a positive initial interaction with an AmeriSave representative who was easy to understand, providing a nice contrast to other companies I'd contacted before.
The digital application process was straightforward and preferred, allowing me to submit paperwork without any hassles. However, the appraisal part of the process was far from satisfactory. The appraiser appeared unprofessional and did a subpar assessment of my property's value that seemed significantly underestimated by $30,000 to $40,000 according to an industry professional I consulted privately. Unfortunately, when I contested the appraisal, AmeriSave stuck firmly with the original valuation.
When seeking resolution, I felt they were inflexible as they maintained allegiance to the initial appraiser's opinion. Despite feeling cornered and not fully satisfied, eventually, acquiring funds was slightly better than having none at all.
Given the process’s smoother aspects and my mixed experience, I’d rate them around a 2 or 3 out of 5. While the system's organizational setup was impressive and user-friendly, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending AmeriSave to friends or family with certainty.

My experience with AmeriSave started positively, particularly due to my interaction with a representative named Wes. Communication was clear and effective, which was crucial for me, as I appreciate being able to understand and connect with the people I am dealing with.
We went with a second mortgage, as we initially had our house paid off and decided to refinance it. AmeriSave Mortgage's service was exceptional. Although the rates they offered were about 100 basis points higher than what other institutions provided, the expertise and assistance from the loan officer made all the difference in my decision.
The knowledge exhibited by my loan officer during the application process was impressive and played a significant role in my choice to proceed with AmeriSave. However, while the service was commendable, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The registration process on their website could be streamlined, and the ability to make automated payments online would be advantageous.

There was some miscommunication as they didn’t fully grasp my preference for managing the loan. I had a $500 monthly debt that I preferred to be paid off, but instead, they opted to clear my car, which had a much smaller payment. I really didn't save a lot of money picking them over anybody else.
Despite my efforts to have the checks reissued correctly, AmeriSave did not accommodate my requests. On a positive note, their customer service was cordial, even if it didn't fully resolve my issues.
Overall, my experience didn't align with my expectations. Given the circumstances, I'd rate the service around a 4. While the intent seems positive, improvement is needed in handling consumer requests.

In terms of time, everything was handled efficiently. The annual percentage rate met my expectations. While I thought it could be lower, I wasn't inclined to shop around anymore. July 1, 2025. I have never needed to tap into equity until recently. I didn't really know where to start & interest rates are high. Amerisave had an A+ on BBB. IT'S A SCAM, IN MY OPINION LOAN SHARKS! I was looking to consolidate $13,791.26. They offered to finance an extra $10,000=$23,791. I was only able to talk to the paper shuffler, except once. I have an excellent credit score. I paid $500 to lock in an interest rate of 8.375%. Ends up fee was 9.15%, closing costs $2742.00; cash to close $10,950. In reviewing their information they NO LONGER charged a FEE, only locking in a rate.
IN TOTAL: Then in total closing, fees, payments, total ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE AND 36 CENTS FOR BORROWING $24.755.96 that I agreed to apply, but turned out as above $124,989.36.on numerous occasions I tried to speak with the loan officer, only happened once. I did at one time to go ahead as they were going to fix the many errors. Turned out no different. Several times I tried to stop all of this, but could only reach the paper shuffler. I have demanded my "locked in" fee of $500.00 that changed too from 8.375 to 9.15%, It was complete failure AND they were going to put a lien on my property. Of course, I canceled. I’m of the impression they at least get $500.

I absolutely do not recommend! I have been in my home for 10 years (new build), never refinanced and thought that I would take 40K out to do some upgrades (deck, patio). I contacted Amerisave based on the reviews. To me, it is VERY Bait and Switch and pressure to pay the NON REFUNDABLE $500 lock in rate. The first set of numbers looked too good to be true, so I questioned it. I paid the $500 and then the next set of numbers came, the mortgage payment was $1000 MORE with $36k to me.
The last set of numbers with closing documents that they wanted me to sign was $1300 more Mortgage payment and $864.00 COMING TO ME! What am I suppose to do with $864 and a higher interest rate and mortgage payment. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I wanted to refinance 449K which included the house, debt and included 40K. My house appraised for 800K. Make this make sense. I told them no. Then I got a bill for $615 for the appraisal fee. So all in all, AmeriSave got me for $1115.00 and I have nothing to show for it!

Amerisave Mortgage Review – A Complete Nightmare. This has been, hands down, the most awful mortgage experience we have ever had—and we’ve bought and refinanced over 15 homes. It started out fine with the first loan officer, who seemed helpful and got our paperwork done quickly within the first week. But everything after that was a disaster.
The appraisal was completely botched. They claimed our home was a 2-bedroom, 2-bath when it is clearly a 3-bedroom, 2-bath. That error alone should have been a huge red flag, and honestly, we should have walked away right then. When we tried to back out, the processor refused to give us a clear answer about what we’d owe. Instead, she kept hinting that we’d have to pay a lot to cancel, which felt like manipulative pressure to just go along with a bad deal. We started this whole process to save money, and it quickly turned into the exact opposite. We told them repeatedly that we needed to combine payments to make this even remotely worthwhile, but no one listened.
To make matters worse, a third loan officer’s name somehow ended up on our paperwork—someone we never even spoke to once. No one ever explained the buy-down points, so we had no idea we were paying extra to buy a rate that STILL ended up higher than the rate we already had. The lack of transparency was shocking.
In the end, we are paying more every month, still have the separate loans we needed to roll together, and now we’re stuck with a 30-year note instead of the 20-year one we had before—all at a higher rate. This company does not care about helping customers. They only care about closing deals and collecting fees, no matter how much financial damage they cause. We feel misled, pressured, and frankly taken advantage of. I would strongly warn anyone: Do NOT use Amerisave. They turned what should have been a simple refinance into a stressful, expensive nightmare that hurt us financially.

AmeriSave reached out first when we were looking for an equity loan on our house. They were able to do everything we wanted. We just continued our work with them. I think everything was good. We have no issues. I was very pleased with everything.
The process was quick and easy, even doing everything remote. Between everything, it took two to three weeks. They’re very easy to communicate and work with, and very responsive. I wasn't sitting there waiting a long time to hear back from them.
They’re very professional and friendly. So, it's good. They understood what we were asking for. And then he came back with a couple of options that he thought would be really helpful in our progress, and what we're looking for. They’re super accommodating.
The experience we had was stress-free. So, that helped greatly. Now, we're super excited because we can do some of the things we want to do around our house and have no worries. So, it was a great impact for us.
It was all remote. It was quick. Honestly, the biggest thing is it was generally quick. It wasn't like a month-to-month thing that we had to do. It was pretty instant that we did everything.
And it was awesome how they had the guy that came when we signed the papers. He came right to our house. So, that was super convenient.
The term and interest rates were average. It wasn't extremely low or extremely high. It was average that we were kind of expecting to get. Everything was average with what we were offered. They weren't trying to oversell or overpay. So, it was pretty good on our end.

I did a cash-out refinance through AmeriSave. I don’t know if easy is the word, but they made it easy. The whole process took a little under a month. I don’t think they could’ve done any better.
The representative was very patient and knowledgeable. She kept me up-to-date and moved quickly. I was impressed with how on top of everything she was, constantly updating me without me even having to ask.
Doing the refinancing with AmeriSave gave me a little bit of financial freedom. I was able to pull out some equity from my home and pay down some debt. If you’re thinking about getting a mortgage or refinancing, AmeriSave is the way to go.

My experience doing a HELOC with AmeriSave was excellent. They have friendly people who are available and always there to help. And anytime you have a question, they respond immediately.
At first, I filled out a form on the website, and then I got a call from one of their loan officers, and then we just talked over the phone. He asked me a few questions, took about five minutes, and that kicked everything off. Most of it was handled through the internet or through email communication after the initial phone call.
The loan officer, Keaton, was knowledgeable. He didn’t waste time. He asked for the data points that he needed, told me what the process would look like, and how quickly I could get my money. He was to the point and reassuring. The process was quick. It just took three weeks.
Their rates were also competitive. I shopped around a little bit, and it was more competitive than some of the other lenders I looked at.

We were looking to do some home improvements and I didn't want to suck up all my savings or use credit cards. So I just thought it'd be cool to just go out there and get an equity loan.
We had a couple hiccups, but that was on me. I changed my name many years ago. And evidently, it's not showing up on my credit reports accurately. But anyway, other than that, it was seamless. I felt that my experience was very good. The rates I got were great. I plan on paying off in a couple of years and maybe even doing it again. I have an old car that I need restored. So that might be the way to go.

I had a bad experience with Freedom Mortgage when I applied to get a VA refinance. I told them I wanted to fix some gutters, replace a kitchen floor, and remodel a bathroom. They said okay. They sent out a VA appraiser and the appraiser said, "Okay, everything's fine. I approve you, except for you have to fix the kitchen floor, the gutters, and the bathroom." So I was forced to look for someone else.
The difference with AmeriSave was night and day. It went through quickly and I was impressed with the service they gave me. They were friendly, easy and quick. I'm 78. I've gone through mortgages since the 70s and it's the easiest process I ever went through. It was the best.

I was waiting at the vet and I got a call from someone. They asked me a couple of questions, and it sounded like something that would work for us at the time, so I decided to go with AmeriSave.
They were a little higher in price, no doubt about it. But honestly, we went with AmeriSave because of the representative. His name was Mike. He was professional and did a better job. We had another offer, but they weren’t calling back, weren’t following through, and didn’t send the detailed, itemized paperwork like he did. That made a difference. Even though the rates were higher than other places, we chose him because he handled everything more professionally.

The application process didn’t take long. It was three weeks from application to finish, but the communication was horrific. After I was approved for the loan, the communication fell apart.
My application got approved, but people from AmeriSave kept calling to offer me a loan even though I was already approved. It felt like no one there was communicating. There was no way for anyone to tell I was already an active and approved client. There was no reason to call me six times a day to offer a loan. It was very painstaking for me.

This was my first time buying a house, and it went great. We didn’t have a lot of issues with it. The entire lending process probably took two months, if that.

I am currently refinancing with AmeriSave. My communication with them was great. It was the appraisal and getting all that stuff done that took the longest. It took about two months because we had a bad snowstorm here so we couldn't really do anything for a week and a half. Overall, it was good and everything went smoothly.

Everything went fine with AmeriSave Mortgage. I had a home loan with them, and the application process was good. It was quick. It's probably about three weeks.
It's just whoever we had our loan through, or whatever bank, has already sold that loan. And we got another loan started. It doesn't mean anything different. The interest rate stays the same, so I guess we're just paying a different bigwig.

My debt was paid off when I did a debt consolidation with AmeriSave. It was a fairly quick and easy process. The worst part was gathering all the documents and waiting for the inspection. From start to finish, it took up to six weeks. I had two main people and they were both very helpful. Any time I had any questions, they were right there to answer, and if I had any concerns, they were on it. The rate was also better than I thought it was gonna be. I can't say enough about them. They really helped me and got me out of a bad spot. I would recommend it to my friends and family if they were in the same market.

I had already tried Rocket Mortgage and the underwriting department was taking too long for the loan, and AmeriSave made it happen. They were really thorough and answered the questions. The process went smoothly with no hiccups, so it was quite nice. AmeriSave had a better rate and terms than Rocket Mortgage did.

I wish the rate was a little bit lower. But compared to other mortgage companies and places that I called, AmeriSave was about the lowest, around 0.25% lower than some of the others. It doesn’t sound like that much of a difference, but it is, especially with the customer service I received.

Unfortunately I can't give a ZERO! Beware of the constant bait and switch adjustments and the NON-REFUNDable Hurry before it's to late $500 rate lock fee. Funny how the numbers constantly change and the handoffs to offer LOAN OFFICERS, MANAGERS, and desk title monkeys! If you are reading this ask yourself, can you find better? Yes, I got turned down after going through all the hoops and requested a refund for the $500 immediately since I sent in everything they asked for and re-asked, then out of the blue, the phone call. A manager who could have easily stopped this mess in the beginning instead of leading on. Three sets of loan proposals, all different, but hey, I found a better deal. Oh, and, NO ONE reach out or returned my calls about the refund. Enjoy the games.

My experience with AmeriSave has been deeply frustrating and far from smooth. From the beginning, there were repeated communication delays, and I was asked to re-sign the same documents multiple times on their platform. The notary even forgot to have a required document signed, which triggered additional back-and-forth just to get that corrected. Worse still, AmeriSave sent an incorrect payment amount to Wells Fargo. I raised concerns multiple times, flagging that something seemed off because my Wells Fargo account wasn't reflecting the payoff. Despite my warnings, the issue persisted--leading to a situation where they were asking me to pay $6,000 out-of-pocket for an apparent property tax payment with only a possibility (not a guarantee) of being reimbursed from the escrow account. Ultimately, I was able to get them to cover this fee with the title company.
Because of AmeriSave's continued errors, I did not receive the standard one-month payment break typically associated with refinancing-- Something that should have been a given. This experience has been deeply disappointing and I am left feeling that I made a mistake refinancing my mortgage loan with them. I cannot recommend AmeriSave based on how my loan was handled, and urge you to look into alternatives.

I tried to refinance with AmeriSave, but I was declined. First, they emailed me, and I called them. They did an appraisal, and they wanted me to get new rails for two steps. I would then need to power wash or repaint my cement steps in my patio. I couldn’t do it as I’m financially strapped.
The only issue I had is I keep getting phone calls and mailing after I talked to AmeriSave. I told these companies I wasn't interested and to not call me anymore, but they still did. I already contacted AmeriSave, but it didn’t help.

Over the years, I've dealt with several mortgage companies. We've bought two houses, but your mortgage also gets sold and it changes hands. Of all of them, AmeriSave seemed to be the easiest to deal with. There are several I would not recommend to anybody, but I've never had any issues with AmeriSave over the years.
We had used them 20 years ago for a second mortgage and never had any problems with it. Technology is so much better now, so the process went a lot quicker and smoother this time. Everything's done through a portal instead of emailing it back and forth. Uploading the documents was real easy and the loan consultant was very responsive. The rate was better than what I got 20 years ago, which speaks not only to the state of interest rates, but I also have a much better credit rating now. I'm an old advisor and know how to manage money better.

Amy was the top employee for the best Customer Service. All the others involved were great, but Amy was there for anything. She even reached out to me on her day off when I was kind of in a panic to make sure my questions were answered. When Amy told me that they would be able to pay off all my bills and save me about $1000 a month, that was no lie. In actuality when it was all completed, they saved me over $1400 a month.
I would highly recommend using this company, because I feel like they know what they’re doing, they give you step-by-step instructions and they don’t hesitate to answer any question. As a first time customer of AmeriSave, I feel they actually care about the customer and making the transaction process as easy, simplified, and understandable as possible. They’re one of the few companies that I feel understand you’re making a big move when you’re refinancing your house to pay off all your credit cards and other loans, to have just one payment, lower than your current monthly payments combined. I felt safe during the entire process.

Everything went very smoothly and nicely with AmeriSave. Setting it up went fine. It's just a little awkward doing it all online while trying to download different documents. And some of the documents they asked us seemed overkill.
I talked to the loan agent that we were working with. We have a time difference because she was on the East Coast, and we're on the West Coast. And it's hard to connect sometimes. But other than that, it all worked out.
They were competitive. I always want better rates, and at the time we applied, their rates were the best.

We were going through all our tax papers from the ’80s, and we found that we had a loan with AmeriSave Mortgage years ago. We decided to contact them again because a storm in California tore everything up, and we had to put a new roof on, but the insurance wouldn’t pay for it.
We put the new roof on, and we had to have financing. We went through Synchrony Bank. The payment was quite high in interest. We had a deadline, and we didn’t want to pay a big interest. Before we made our first payment, AmeriSave got us funded. They were absolutely phenomenal.
The representatives were nice and tremendous. Everything went smoothly. It went really great this time. Everybody that worked on it was absolutely superb. We did everything over the computer. All our records were sent to them. It was handled very professionally. I trust AmeriSave, and we are so appreciative of them.
We called the representative and thanked her. I give her kudos all the way because she took care of us. We’re not very computer-wise, and she helped us with all that. She was aboveboard. I’m praising her because she’s great.
Then they sent a notary to the house. We signed all the papers, and everything was done. We would always go through AmeriSave for anything because we didn’t know what to do. We’re retired on a fixed income, and this came out of the blue. AmeriSave Mortgage was wonderful.

I reached out to AmeriSave first on the internet. I sent in a request online. They have the term limit that I was looking for– the length of time to finance. 15 years was the most we wanted. And the interest rate we got was about what our credit score allowed. And I have checked interest rates. It's the second mortgage loan I've ever had. And the one I just paid off back last June was a 3.1. And it was double that.
The employees of AmeriSave that I talked to listened to our concerns and we could talk to them about most anything. And they understood what we were trying to say. They're very empathetic.
We signed 165 pages the day they came. It took about 45 minutes to sign all those. It's absolutely ridiculous. We owned the home. We didn't have to borrow the money. We did a home equity loan. And my home equity loan should have been 12 pages. Most of it was repetitive. Their paperwork at the end is too much. They're not using AI-generated loan values for the home. They could improve on that.
We signed everything online that we signed again in the presence of a notary. They need to improve their closing procedure. It cost us $695 to get this appraisal.
Their closing process and the fees they charge for appraisals and the fees got over $6,000 closing costs on a $79,000 loan. That's almost 10%.
They should use AI-generated home values and decrease the closing paperwork. The only thing I really regretted about going with them was when we found out what the closing costs were going to be. But we had already started. Their closing costs were very high. They need to look at a way to have lower closing costs. And then to cut back on the paperwork. I could have saved some money.

I inquired, and the guy who responded was just knowledgeable and a good salesman. The setup was fine and didn’t take long. The rates were a little higher than I was hoping, especially on the refi or equity side, but there’s a lot of volatility with mortgage rates.
The only complaint I would have with AmeriSave is that they didn’t communicate how the payoff was going to work. They’d send us checks that you gotta send the creditors yourself.
Once we started, we held off on a couple, but we got late payments on them because from the time it funds, it took a week or so to get the checks to us through the mail or FedEx. Communicating that process would have been better, because I’ve never done it that way before. I’m just used to always doing wires with HELOCs.
The loan processor and loan officer were great. The underwriter was a little much, but he’s just doing his job protecting AmeriSave. I get it. I would have paid a few of those things, and it’s not like these were 30 days late, reportable, or didn’t hit my credit. I would have got it back in the cash to borrower portion, so that wouldn’t have been a problem. It just caused my wife a little anxiety.

Then, when I talked to Ms. Darla, the conversation and business background caught my attention. She explained how she would walk me through everything, and if I didn’t understand it, I can always tell her to stop. That is why I chose AmeriSave Mortgage. I’m impressed by her efficiency.

I started with my current mortgage supplier, and the rate wasn’t that good. I shopped around online and went with AmeriSave because of the loan manager, Greg. He was personable, asked more questions, and laid out how the process would work. He didn’t make any mistakes like a couple of other people did when quoting products for me. It was just his level of communication with me, and once we got down to the rate that I was looking for, it was a done deal. The whole process for this second mortgage took less than two weeks.

I’m 72 years old and handicapped. And my wife and I were looking at selling our house and then moving into an apartment, but I just don’t wanna move. It’s too much work. Even though the house is too much to take care of, that was just a no. We have neighbors who have kicked in, and they’re doing our yards. And so, we get along well. So, we just decided to get the house fixed. That way, if we decide to sell it in five years or so, we can still do it.
And then John called here the first time and asked if we were interested in a reverse mortgage. And for some reason, it was a very good call, and I told him to come on out and talk to me. And so, they came out. And I was impressed by their customer service and kindness. They were understanding of our position and where we were at. And he said that they’re just here to present to me what they have, and that he’s not gonna pressure me, which I appreciate. And we started talking and going through. Then my wife and I started talking, and we prayed about it after they left.
It was a professional talk, easy transaction, and easy to talk to them. We had fun while we were talking because they were open. Sometimes I like to just blab, and they went along. And they were thorough in explaining anything and everything in the process. And so, I told them to put me down for X amount to see where we’d go with it.
And the main thing that I was battling back and forth was that we had a lot of offers that were good offers. Those people who come out and give you cash. And some had offered to pretty much give us a good chunk of money with no attachments, that they would pay all the fees and everything else. They were tempting, but I wasn’t willing to give up $70,000 or $80,000 to just hand the house over to them when we didn’t have a whole lot of stuff to do to it.
So, with AmeriSave, we shouldn’t have any problems with it. We’d get credit with this. I can fix my house up. I’ll still have equity left on it. That’ll make me feel safer at my age. I still would have equity left that I could sell later and still have decent equity and do what we wanted then. So, I decided to do it with AmeriSave.
It made me feel comfortable that I could fix up my house. ‘Cause everybody that's trying to flip your house, they want you to dump it and not put that money in ‘cause then you might wanna stay there. Well, I do. I thought that if we got some money for the house, I'd fix the house up the way I want to, where I'd be happy with it.
So, we did refinance with them. And the rate was a hair high, but not unacceptable. Because we had spent a lot of years at 3.25, but I realized it was not realistic. But what they came in with was 5.62, and it was bearable. And the whole process from start to finish took less than a month.
So, I trust them wholly. I never had a bit of a problem through the whole process. If we had questions, we would call Drake or Yvette, who was doing the mortgage thing. And they were quick to call back and answer. Because going through something like this, sometimes you get the heebie-jeebies. But they were always quick, and they would answer it thoroughly. Never a slip and step.

When we refinanced our home in 2020, AmeriSave had the best rate, and they were very easy to work with. So when we took out a home equity loan, we immediately contacted them. The process of obtaining the mortgage with AmeriSave was super easy. They didn't need as much from us as we've had to do in the past for a mortgage. The primary application was done within three hours and then it was another week until we had our decision. The young lady I worked with was incredible as well. She took her time to figure out what would fit us best and work for our needs. We were consolidating some things and doing some home projects. She just made sure that we had everything we needed covered. Two other gentlemen worked with us once we finalized the application and they were also really easy to work with.

I used AmeriSave twice: initially for refinancing and later for acquiring a home equity loan. The first time, I was shopping around for a refinance and AmeriSave came up as a very highly rated option.
The application process with AmeriSave was easy, though it stretched longer than I anticipated. My refinance took about two months to complete, while the home equity loan settled in about one and a half months.
One area that could use improvement is communication regarding time frames. During the process for my home equity loan, there was an unexpected delay caused by AmeriSave needing my insurance premium documents—documents they already should have had as they also held my mortgage.
Regarding customer service, the lending officer I worked with was exceptional. He promptly addressed my concerns, even managing to resolve issues over which he had no direct control, showing a great level of proactivity that I really appreciated.
I like the ease of their application process and the helpful guidance they provide throughout. The rates and terms they offered were standard, aligning with what I found elsewhere. Overall, I’m satisfied and marked some aspects repeatedly high with feedback ratings of 5, although I felt pricing and online tools were just average.

An issue with AmeriSave Mortgage has left me quite frustrated. Despite establishing my account with one servicing company, I was abruptly assigned to another. I received this notification just before my payment was due, adding unnecessary stress. When I tried to clarify the situation with Shellpoint Corporation, they hung up simply because I didn't have a new loan number handy, after I'd already put in time setting up automatic deductions.
Despite these issues, my experience with AmeriSave's staff was positive. I began with Savannah, who efficiently directed my call, and then spoke to Corey over interest rates. Ultimately, Elena stood out immensely. She was committed, attentive, and truly went above and beyond, even taking the time to share moments of her personal life with me, like pictures of her with her dogs. It was this connection, particularly with Elena's exceptional support, that made my experience worthwhile.

I obtained a mortgage through AmeriSave to assist with updating and remodeling and without having a prior mortgage, the process unfolded smoothly. I primarily communicated with AmeriSave over the phone and they mailed the necessary forms, allowing me to review everything. Though there were minor complications due to being on a fixed income and co-owning the property with my daughter and brother-in-law, the AmeriSave team managed to sort everything out efficiently.
The experience was notably easy and fast, making it one of the quickest mortgage processes I have encountered. The person I dealt with was extremely helpful, ensuring everything was arranged as required and going the extra mile to resolve any issues. Regarding the mortgage rates, I believe we received the best possible rates considering the current economic situation.
While the customer service was impeccable, I did face a bit of a struggle with their website, as it was challenging to get through over the phone, often needing to wait for prolonged periods. Hence, navigating and using their website could use some improvement.
Overall, I would recommend AmeriSave to others and rate my overall experience a five. Due to the difficulties with their online presence and accessibility, I would rate the website a three.

The online process was easy. I filled the initial application out myself but I did have the lender helping me. She was fantastic and very personable. She was very knowledgeable about everything and she answered all my questions.
The rate was very good considering I did take out a second mortgage. AmeriSave paid off an older mortgage that was higher interest so I was pleased. At the very end, the rep even got me a tiny percentage point less. I’ve recommended them to several friends.

The entire process with them was very straightforward and simple. I interacted with a representative who was not only very confident but also extremely good at addressing my queries and any minor issues that surfaced. Having owned a mortgage company for a decade, I had a clear idea of the processes involved, and she did an exemplary job.
Although the rates were slightly above the industry standard at that time, it was not a significant concern for me since I planned on paying it off over a shorter duration. The convenience and ease with which the process was carried out were significant plus points. There was a little hiccup at the end with the insurance information. It caused a minor delay in closing, but it was eventually resolved without the initially requested documentation.
If a friend were to ask me about AmeriSave, I'd suggest that they'll definitely do a good job, but they should be prepared for possibly different insurance documentation requirements, although in my case, it turned out unnecessary in the end. The overall customer experience was excellent, and for that particular reason, I would rate my experience a solid 4 out of 5.

I’m 45 and decided it was finally time to buy my first home. Actually, I was initially looking at a different company. Then someone from AmeriSave called me. I started the process. I figured they should already have all my information. They approved me right away, and everything went so quickly and smoothly that I decided to stay with them.
It was an FHA loan, and most of the process was handled over the phone and online. I spoke with one person and then emailed her all the paperwork she needed.

I started with this helpful broker, but was then introduced to another person who was supposed to complete the process. Communication with her was challenging due to a personal situation, which made it hard for her to get back to me promptly. However, the original broker stepped back in and ensured that everything was handled smoothly.

I wanted a true HELOC, but it looks like I did not get a draw account like I wanted. This was not explained to me. I created my online account and made a payment with my remaining cash. Then realized I paid back too much. The online account chat bot told me this loan was not a HELOC! What?

When it came time to obtain the loan with AmeriSave, my main concern was the adjustable APR, as I preferred a fixed rate. However, after speaking with their reps, my hesitations began to lessen. They were informative and put me at ease, especially since the process was not as lengthy or stressful compared to my experiences with traditional mortgages. I started the process in December and, surprisingly, received the loan by January.

I worked with two people, and they were both excellent. One was the underwriter, and one was a loan processor. They made the process very smooth. I was able to text and email them, depending on what it was, and they answered me right away. They were very friendly, nice, and patient. I was very comfortable.
I was trying to do debt consolidation and AmeriSave came up in a Google search for one of the top companies to get a second mortgage. I called in. I spoke to somebody and they transferred me to a person to screen me for it. That was good. Then they moved me over to an underwriter, and I was back and forth between the two of them until I closed. It was a great process. The entire process was from Friday to Friday. I talked to them on Friday, and I got the approval mid-week, but then we had to wait for the closing people to do all the docs. Then the lady came the following Friday for me to sign all the docs.
The application process through the website was very easy. The underwriter walked me through it while he was on the phone. It was very user-friendly. The rates and the terms were great. It was lower than what I was paying. The payment saved me $200 a month. So I was happy with everything.

Among several calls from mortgage companies, AmeriSave was the first to contact us. So, we decided to deal with them. The process we underwent was straightforward, involving the usual steps like verifying employment and providing documentation such as W-2s. Their online application process was surprisingly simple; mostly handled via phone and email, which was convenient. Handling the mortgage while selling our condo was the real hassle, but the AmeriSave representatives, particularly Kian and another individual from underwriting, were efficient. They were prompt in addressing any inquiries or concerns, often getting back to us within a day.

I’m glad I did the refinance, because it put some extra cash in my bank account and just made everything very easy for me as a retiree.

It wasn’t until recently that AmeriSave Mortgage became a part of our financial journey and I'm genuinely pleased with the outcome. We were primarily looking to refinance to manage some overwhelming credit card debt. After facing challenges with getting a home equity loan, refinancing with AmeriSave turned out to be a seamless experience. Although my spouse, Ashley, initially discovered them, the entire process was clearly laid out and user-friendly.
The application took approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Given that it was a VA loan, some delays were anticipated, but everything flowed as expected. Any additional VA inspections required didn’t significantly set us back, adhering closely to previous experiences we've had with VA procedures.

Agent Jesus who was assigned to me were very helpful, courteous, and he knew what he was doing. He treats you like a member of your family, and he answers practically all of my questions. He also goes out of the way to find out if he doesn’t have the answer offhand, which I like. He is extraordinary. I’ve had this type of transaction with other corporations before, and he stands out. As for the terms, I was not too happy because it looks like it is going down especially the interest rate. But, I’m stuck to it right now whether I like it or not. So, I have to content with it. I had a home renovation project. I found AmeriSave online and was quite impressed with their prompt service and attention. Out of all the lenders I came across, they stood out by being the most responsive, sealing my decision to move forward with them. I chose a full remodel program and was thoroughly pleased with the process from the start. After some consideration, I decided to explore AmeriSave Mortgage to help consolidate our financial situation. From the start, the representative I worked with stood out for his honesty and personalized approach, which was refreshing compared to other firms that were fixated solely on refinancing. This rep was genuinely focused on identifying what was best for us, and not just pushing for refinancing because it might benefit the company more.

The AmeriSave representative that I talked to listened to me. I requested that he give me time to review everything, send it to me in an email, and then I would reach back out. So he waited.
The process of obtaining a mortgage through AmeriSave was incredibly straightforward. They have a centralized portal where you can upload the necessary documents, making the process seamless and convenient. As someone who is online frequently, I found the application process intuitive and efficient, which made the experience even better. Once I committed to moving forward, the application and underwriting process took under two weeks.

AmeriSave was really easy to work with, and I liked that the front-line staff are empowered to make decisions. That’s why I continued using their service.
The process online was easy. The loan officer was great, very matter-of-fact, he gave me all the options and explained everything clearly. Then the processor took over, and she was outstanding. Communication was phenomenal.
There was an issue with the title portion. The people in the title department either couldn’t or wouldn’t make a decision, and it didn’t get resolved in a timely manner.

I was looking to refinance, so that way, I can get the extra money out of the house to get out of debt with other stuff like pay off my truck, my bills or cards. Curtis from AmeriSave was good. He was there anytime I needed him. He was really helpful. If I needed anything, I got hold of him. If I couldn't get ahold of him, he got a hold of me within 10.
The underwriters, the people who do everything and tell you what you need, their process definitely needs to be worked on. Because they asked for a bill within the last 12 months but paper bills are not being sent out anymore. They're all online, but they only go back 11 months. They wanted something from the year before and they can’t accept what I sent them. It doesn’t make sense.
I called Curtis one time to ask him about the papers because I keep getting things saying, ''We have an urgent message about your loan.'' And every time I called the to tell them they dont even have my loan.'' But other than that, I haven't even talked to AmeriSave since then because they sold it within about two weeks to PennyMac. They sold it right after I made my first payment and I had to get ahold of them to send my payment over to PennyMac. They sent it within a couple of days and PennyMac got it and applied to the loan.

I originally was referred to AmeriSave by a friend. I’ve worked with Jeffrey who was supportive, and this will be my second completed time. I went back to the company I felt comfortable with, and they did a remarkable job the first time around and they didn’t fail again the second time around.
The online application was easy. Their agent and I did the application together. We walked through the application together, so there were no errors when we submitted it. So, it was simple and it didn’t take very long either.
The first time around, it took four weeks from beginning to end. The finance company, the overseer of the process, was asking for additional information that I thought they already had, but it wasn’t excessive. There were a couple of minor glitches towards the end. But the second time around, it went as smooth as smooth can go from beginning to end which took 14 days.
If you are interested in either a first or a refinance of your current mortgage, and you don’t have an extreme amount or an excessive amount of knowledge in that process, a company that you can trust to guide you and to provide you the information so you can make the best decision for yourselves, your house, your household, and your family, would be AmeriSave. No gimmicks, no hidden agenda. I felt they were as honest up-front as you can possibly be in today’s world. It was a good experience.

I didn't have real good credit, and AmeriSave was advertising that they could help people that didn’t have very good credit. I'm not a big fan of doing business online, but it wasn't too bad. The overall refinance process with AmeriSave was good. The broker was good. But I didn't have a great experience with the loan processor. It didn't seem like he was knowledgeable and will call me but didn't need anything. He called me three times just to check if I understood everything. It was a waste of my time, didn't add value to the process. He couldn't answer a lot of my questions.
One my concerns was about my name on my application, that I wanted my full name on my application. And when he sent me the documents, it was not my full name. I was a little frustrated with that. So, I ended up reaching out to the title company myself and my mortgage company. I provided all my legal documents both to AmeriSave and to the title company to make sure it was okay. I had to initiate that. That was something that AmeriShield should have done.
I started the application on December 30th and I closed mid-January. I enjoyed working with the mortgage broker. I appreciate the willingness to lower the points to work with me on that, because I did get several offers from other different mortgage companies and showed those offers with the lowered points to AmeriSave. And Eric, along with the collaboration of his leadership, was able to reduce my points to meet the competitor.

The online application was easy because the person helping us named Darius went over everything and filled it out while asking us the questions. It made the process very simple. We already had a mortgage with AmeriSave. The main reason I stuck with them is that I had gone through four different people while trying to get that mortgage. Honestly, it was the customer service from the loan officer that made me stay, more than the numbers or rates.
Our recent HELOC experience wasn’t as smooth. They didn’t provide much explanation, gave very short answers, and it was hard to get responses to emails. My wife asked the same question multiple times, and it wasn’t properly answered in a way that made sense until after the fact, which is partly our fault. Ultimately, everything worked out, but they didn’t do a good job explaining some of the details.
They could have explained the process better, especially what happens after closing. This was our first HELOC, and we didn’t know how to handle the money or how to put it back, take it out, or manage it. It wasn’t explained clearly.
Ultimately, I’d probably still use them again. Overall, the process was easy, though this one wasn’t as smooth as the first time.

AmeriSave provides excellent customer service which I appreciated. The application process for our refinancing was nice and smooth. The team was very proactive. I was the holdup on most things, because usually the documents I have with me are not updated. So, I had to request new ones and had to wait for a while for them to come in. After I provided all the information, everything went well, and AmeriSave processed the refinancing smoothly. The loan rep and the service person from the West Coast who helped me out were very friendly and excellent. They were very positive in making things happen, and pushed everything along as to how I wanted it to, and it worked out well.
Overall, it took about four weeks, one week of which is the hold up in the documents from my side. AmeriSave did a nice job. They're the friendliest bunch and they got back to me immediately all the time.

AmeriSave Mortgage was fairly easy to do with the online portal. I just found a whole lot of different options. The rate was a little bit higher, but they were willing to match the price from another loan company that I had talked to. I really can’t complain much about that. I was pleased with the customer service.
The biggest problem with any mortgage right now is breaks. There’s not much they can control about that. But with AmeriSave, I didn’t really have issues. I was happy with their service.

I decided to get another mortgage because my home is worth six figures and my balance on my first mortgage is only two figures. The economy has changed and life in general has become difficult at retirement for me. I wanted to pay down debt to have less bills and be able to live a little comfortably.
AmeriSave contacted me after the election. I was very emotional about it so I was nasty and didn’t wanna talk. Then I had a second mortgage, which was just straight interest for the first 10 years. I started thinking about paying interest for the next nine years and that didn’t make financial sense. I did amortization schedule just to see how it will work out and it was crazy. But then AmeriSave called me and let me reach out to them. So, I did that and within 20 minutes, I was pre-approved.
I got a quote from one person and then he transferred me to an underwriter named Calie. We went a little bit more deeper into things. I had a foreclosure in 2004, which was 10 years past in 2014. They were asking why I bought the house during that predatory lending time in 1999. I explained that and then they asked me about a bankruptcy I had after I had a stroke in 2011 since I’ve been living in this house, but I needed to prove that that bankruptcy was cleared. That was difficult.
I had to pay the court to get a copy of the record and I didn’t like that process. I was thinking not to do it anymore but then I got this interest-only mortgage so I stuck with it. I had to pay for every page that I downloaded. I had to get with some kind of system that creates this special password to create the account and then had to wait a day after that. So, that was a long process and it was tedious.
Calie was nice. The initial quote she gave me was similar to what I currently have in interest-only. When they sent me the closing document, it wasn’t what I wanted. There was another lady between Calie and me. She took the information from me and she forwarded it to Calie. But Calie wasn’t there so she went on ahead and ran it through somebody else.
Then it got back to her. She called me and said what the interest rate was gonna be and it was gonna be a regular loan, not interest-only. I said okay so she ran it back through Calie. Calie came in that Monday and they pushed it through, and it was approved.
The whole process took me from February 5th to February the 16th and it saved me from sinking in debt. My credit score went up a lot since I started with AmeriSave. The quote process is good and quick. But be prepared to dig in your life in the past for underwriting. If you have the patience for that, you’re good to go.

The lending process at AmeriSave is very simple. I submitted a couple of documents and they did everything else. The questions were straightforward and once I submitted the levels of income from my husband and myself, it was just very simple. They did more than I had to do and that’s what made it easy.
The rep was very sweet, kind and understanding. She made me feel very relaxed. I had questions and I didn’t think that there were any dumb questions. She was very receptive to my voicemails when I needed to get in touch with her.
I also like the fact that their online portal was good and I didn’t have to dig for a lot of paperwork. When we started, they scheduled the appraisal right away and they just moved everything along.

I just want to say one thing about this Company. BEWARE, do not use them and especially do not give them money down. I am a DISABLED VETERAN and was looking to consolidate some bills. After initial contact New Jersey, Then Texas, Then California I was told I didn't have the right information from Social Security. This guy was 3000 miles away, did not look or ask to look at my documentation. I told him to just hold up and I would get back to them. I requested a Refund 03/01/25 of the 500.00 I gave them to see if I qualify for the Loan.
My Credit Score is High 700 s and Wife has triple 800. Today is 03/12/25 and still trying to get refunded and still getting emails to finish my loan request. They have no internal communications, nor have they refunded my 500.00.. So my advice to any Veteran is to go somewhere else to look for Home Loans and Consolidations. Do not pay these people any money. They will not give it back and if you see BBB complaints you will see. So BEWARE before using AMERISAVE.

AmeriSave was my third attempt at working with a company. I had just looked it up on the internet, and they popped up as one that met my desired need of a second mortgage. The process was very good because they did it in just a couple of weeks, while everybody else had spent a month or more and hadn’t gotten me anywhere.
The agent I talked to guided me through it. She was very attentive and very helpful, and had the answers to all my questions. So, I didn’t have to do too much on my own once I made contact with her, but we did some part of it together, and it was pretty easy. So, I think they did a really good job after the two that didn’t go so well.

I was looking for a second home, like a retirement home. The Realtor I contacted recommended AmeriSave. I had nothing but an awesome experience with them. I remember talking to someone, maybe named Corvin or Kevin. He was super friendly. While he was waiting on answers, we would just chat, and he was very patient. He answered all of my questions because I wasn’t sure I wanted to move forward.
At one point, I mentioned that my current residence has a 3.5% interest rate, and when he told me what the rate would be for the new loan, I was like, "Holy Crap." I asked if there was any way to lower it. He said he hadn’t heard of it, but that we could ask. He contacted his supervisor, and we were able to get the rate lowered a bit. It took some time, but it worked.
From my first call to wrapping everything up and closing, the whole process took just a few weeks. It was crazy how fast it went. I’m on the older side, so computers aren’t very easy for me, but the people at AmeriSave walked me through everything. They were very patient and friendly throughout the process.

My bank wouldn’t work with me, and I've been their customer since 1976. But AmeriSave worked with me. The people that helped me secure the loan were very helpful, especially one lady who went above and beyond. I had a lien on my property through a solar company that went out of business, and I needed it removed in order to proceed with the loan. I was unable to communicate with them, and she did everything she could to help me. She got a hold of them, told them what I needed, so I was very grateful for that. The application process was simple, and easy with their help. It took longer than it should have because of that lien, but it was a smooth process.

I had a complicated underwriting process and AmeriSave was consistent, persistent, flexible and helpful. They were able to get the deal done. I had three mortgage providers competing for my business, and AmeriSave proved that they were the best team to work with. I was assigned to Mikael and I’m very grateful for him. He’s based out of Atlanta, so I applied online. He quarterbacked the underwriting and pricing portion of the deal.
In terms of document collection and organization, there’s a separate person named Carlos who was assigned. And Carlos’ job was to look in the AmeriSave system and see what information I was missing that I needed to collect for Mikael. His job was to work with me every day, multiple times a day, whether it was on email, phone call, or text message, to help me make sure that I got all my documents in so we can keep moving the process forward. And then when we ran into snags, Carlos and Mikael worked together to find a workaround. They were an exceptional partner.
I wish, however, that my rate was a little lower. We had the opportunity to get a lower rate, but something fell through, so we ended up having to go with a slightly higher rate. Also, they should do better marketing, so they can communicate to people that they are the better company. Overall, I strongly appreciate the work the two men did, and I’d strongly recommend AmeriSave. They did a great job, and they did everything they could to get me a mortgage.

Would not recommend this company for a Mortgage. Ran my credit report and told me to call her if I needed anything or if I had question, (Had great credit and owned my owned business) I tried to email and call for a week, Deb finally got back to me to telling what she needed after I called someone else in the office to see why she wasn't calling me back. There was no hurry on their part. She stated she was out all week. Don't you think you would have let all your clients know you would not be in. Not worth your time or your credit report being ran.

I initially looked into AmeriSave Mortgage online, and they reached out to me, which was helpful as I searched for a mortgage provider. I was going through a mortgage refinance for home improvements. Throughout the process, I had a great experience with their team. They contacted me, explained the process, answered all my questions, and helped me fill out the forms. They also provided the necessary documents for acquiring the loan, such as income verification and details of debts we wanted to pay off along with securing funds for home improvements.
The application process took about a month to complete. Communication with the loan officer was excellent; they kept me informed through text messages and emails, ensuring I was updated on any developments.
However, the downside was that my loan was sold to Chase less than a month after obtaining it. This was frustrating because I was planning to make a payment to AmeriSave that would reduce my monthly payments, but the loan got sold right before I could do that. Now, I have to wait another month to address this with Chase Bank.

Do not use this company. They disbursed five times more than I asked for, and when I asked if I could pay it back right away to save interest, they indicated I could. When I tried to pay back the excess, they told me "there is no record of my account" and I have to wait a month and a half for the loan to be set up. So they can collect interest for an additional month and a half, adding almost another $1,000 in unnecessary interest.

I recently worked with AmeriSave Mortgage to secure an equity line of credit for buying my parents' house. As a real estate paralegal, I often deal with AmeriSave in closings, which is how I became familiar with them. The online application process was straightforward and met my expectations, even though the entire application and underwriting process took about a month. Despite receiving unfavorable rates due to market conditions, the terms were beyond AmeriSave's control.
My major issue was with the closing company AmeriSave selected, which I found to be incredibly inept. They failed to identify an existing deed of trust on my property, incorrectly claiming it was free and clear. This mistake could have had serious ramifications. I ended up conducting my own title search to rectify their oversight, and effectively performed the duties they were supposed to manage. I think AmeriSave should reconsider their choice of closing partners to avoid such issues.
Overall, I rate AmeriSave 4 stars for the experience. Their customer service was excellent, deserving of a 5-star rating, but I gave only 2 stars for the rate and terms due to the market. I had no issues with their online tools or website, which worked perfectly for my needs.

I chose AmeriSave over other companies because, unlike others, they were willing to work with me despite my high debt ratio. They suggested I pay off some of my debts to improve my situation, which no other company was willing to consider. AmeriSave helped me secure a second mortgage to pay off a previous one with a higher interest rate, which benefited my financial plans, including home improvements.
My experience with AmeriSave's online application process was largely positive, although the closing took an unexpectedly long time. I think the delay was related to the title company, but during this period, whenever I called, I was informed that they were working on getting things done.
Regarding interest rates, I'm aiming to refinance my entire house someday. I've got 100,000 in equity, but I pay around 2.9% in interest and nobody comes close to that right now. Overall, I rated AmeriSave a 5 because despite some communication delays, the customer service reps always resolved what I was asking for once contact was made. While the rates were not the lowest in the market, my satisfaction with the pricing and terms sits at a 4 on a scale of 1 to 5, primarily because other institutions couldn't match their cooperation, even if they had lower rates.

Applying and traversing the path for a mortgage can be overwhelming at times even when you think you got all your ducks in a row, Bart and Clayton were my contacts at Amerisave and were so supportive of me. The 2 main people, Korbyn & Lisa, people were professional at all times. Overall I am satisfied with the Refinance, although it took about 6-7 weeks to complete. I had only expected it to take 3-4 weeks. The Home Appraiser was also fair with her appraisal; It was not quite as high as I had expected, but it was a fair Appraisal.

Working with AmeriSave was a great experience. Their agents are knowledgeable and always call you back quickly if you have a question or concern. Best experience I have ever had with refinancing. We originally had an FHA loan. Once we did refinance, AmeriSave bought out the mortgage from The Money Source. AmeriSave took over from there and ever since, they kept giving us a good rate. We have the historic low rates right now on our mortgage. We just trusted them ever since. It was not a difficult process because it wasn't like other mortgage companies. I'm used to just sending emails. So, it was easier just to send it directly to the broker or the originator. It's just logging in to a secure portal. It was straightforward. The representative that reached out to us seemed very confident that he could get us a loan. It was exactly as he explained. There were no doubts. Everything was exactly how we expected it.

I liked the two individuals from Amerisave that were assigned my case. From start to finish, the process was about three weeks. However, the approval process is a bit chaotic where the loan servicer has one approval and the mortgage company seems to have another approval. They need to get consistency and only have one person as a point of contact. Also, the uploading of information could be cleaned up. The upload systems was a bit chaotic too. You would upload, but they would not get it.
Joshua and Biggie were the two reps I worked with. They worked together and bent over backwards to ensure that I received the approval. They followed up. I didn't have some of the documentations they were asking for, but they coordinated and got whatever documentations were needed based on the information that I had already provided. They were accommodating that way. If I sent an email to one, they would both try to respond to resolve it. They were understanding when I got to ranting and raving. They listened and tried to help as much as they could to bring the issues of paperwork simplified. If I would have to do it over again, it would have to be those two reps.

I was looking for a HELOC for refinancing my property. AmeriSave seemed to have the best up-front, quick response than anybody else I found. And the rates were reasonable. The application was easy and efficient. From start to finish, it took only three weeks. Everybody I talked to was very forthcoming, easy to understand, and answered all my questions quickly. The interest is a little high, but everything's a little high right now. As for the terms, compared to everything else, it was right on par. Their website was also really easy to work with.

If you're looking to refinance, go through AmeriSave. I will give you my loan officer's name and number to get in contact with him. That guy was amazing. Applying online with AmeriSave Mortgage was simple. The site was very easy to navigate. Any discrepancies I had, I would talk to the loan officer. If he didn't know what was going on, he found out why numbers were switched. He would respond to me after-hours. Because of where I worked, sometimes I didn't get to read them until later on in the evening. He would still respond back to me that same day.
Considering I've already refinanced with AmeriSave once at the beginning of the year last year, and I did it again towards the end of last year, I thought it should have moved a lot smoother than it did. Considering nothing of mine had changed, other than the value of my house. It took longer the first time because I started with another mortgage company and they jacked me around. But the second time around, they had all of my information already. Nothing had changed. I thought we should have been able to get it done within two to three weeks. It took a month and a half. Other than that, the reps were up-front. They told me everything what was going on. They kept me in the light. Anything that changed, I was notified.

I refinanced my home equity through AmeriSave Mortgage though I wasn't initially seeking them out. I came across them through Lending Tree and got a call from a helpful representative. Initially, I wasn't confident the process would work out because another lender had previously denied me, but AmeriSave surprised me.
My experience with them was smooth and straightforward. The refinancing process was easy, and it only took about two to three weeks. I was pleased with how quickly things progressed. One of the primary reasons I went ahead was because I needed to get some financial affairs in order, and AmeriSave was able to help with that by removing a lien, which I didn't know was possible.
The interest rate set at 11% is not one I plan to keep long-term, as my goal is to improve my credit and refinance again in six months to get back to my previous mortgage rate of 5.88%. But for the immediate need, AmeriSave worked out well.
The customer service was excellent. On a five-star scale, I would definitely give them a five for their service and ease of use with their website, which was straightforward even for someone like me. I know there are mixed reviews out there, but my personal experience was positive. Additionally, the affordability of working with them was fair, another five stars from my perspective. Overall, AmeriSave provided a quick and efficient service, which left me satisfied with my decision to refinance with them.

I dealt with AmeriSave Mortgage for a property in New York. Initially, I chose AmeriSave after a quick Google search and appreciated the relationship I built with the initial representative. However, the overall process was quite challenging.
Throughout the process, I encountered delays and was asked to provide unnecessary documentation. What made it particularly frustrating was the constant change in contact persons within the company, leading to a lot of back and forth. It felt like too many people had access to my account, adding unnecessary confusion.
Despite these issues, the representative I worked with, Tate, stood out. His commitment to addressing and resolving the issues was commendable. Although AmeriSave didn't offer the most competitive rates, the trust and assurance I felt with Tate were the reasons I continued to work with them.
In terms of timeline, the process felt standard, perhaps a month or two. However, the communication challenges made it feel longer. Rating my overall experience on a scale of 1 to 5, I'd give it a 2. Their customer service and pricing both deserve a 3, but their online tools and website interactions warrant a 1 due to the confusion from multiple people with access.
In the end, for me, a reliable representative can make all the difference, and Tate did his best to ensure I was satisfied against the odds.

I just filled out a quick form to find out the rate. I got a call from an absolute jerk. He was pushy. I asked him can know what the rate is. He kept asking questions and getting information. I answered all questions but he still would not provide the rate. I asked him politely what the range of the rate is acknowledging that it will vary depending on verification. He gave me such a high rate. I said that probably would be too high. He hung up on me. What a jerk.

We were talking with Trevor **. Got to the end of the process. We didn’t like that he was charging us for points. He didn’t tell us about the points. He then took $584 off my card then after we asked for a refund he then said I signed where it said no refund. He’s deceptive and a liar. Please don’t use him for refinancing or anything. It’s not over. We will be contacting a lawyer and their head counters ASAP. We're not blaming the company but he’s not to be trusted. READ EVERYTHING he send to you. Don’t sign nothing!!!
