I called for appointment to fix filling that came out. I was going out of town for two days. They could not help me until I got home Friday night. That's fine, no hours Sat., Sun., Monday at 3, she said. I said, "Is there something sooner?" Yes. "How about 2?" They will be to lunch. "How about 1?" They will be to lunch. "How about 1?" They do not like to start anything before lunch. "How about 12?" Again lunch. "How long is lunch time?" Was slapped on hold without a word. So I hung up. Went to see office manager. Of course she said low on doctors and blah, blah, blah, blah. 1 week for a filling they did. This is the problem with underpaid and overworked dentist and poorly managed staff. High volume, low standards.

I went to this place because I was in agony, the whole side of my face hurt. So my first visit they take x-rays and tell me I need a root canal. Okay great, let's do it! "Oh no wait a minute we need to collect $500 before even touching you." I only had $250 and they wouldn't accept it and actually forced me to reschedule it for when I could pay the full amount. Clearly treating me wasn't important, but my money know that's what they're after! Now I understand that collecting money is needed, which is ** but I'll avoid the discussion, but when someone goes to a doctor because they are in pain aren't you supposed to take care of it and work out the financial stuff later? A regular doctor would never do this.

To make matters worse I've needed to extend the work because financially I cannot afford the $1,400 it costs to fix this tooth. Yet they continue to send me bill after bill and tell me that I am behind in payments, when they haven't done all the work. Simply ridiculous as if it's not bad enough being turned away in pain over money, they make their patients feel bad about not being able to pay immediately and bill for procedures they haven't done. This place is run by unethical doctors who care nothing about their patients and only about separating you from your hard earn money. An example of everything wrong with American medicine.

I gave Eastern Dental a try because they would take my new insurance. What a waste of time that turned out to be. I had to wait over 2 hours in a very loud waiting room. I got a 9-minute teeth cleaning out of this and left with dirty teeth. I have complained to them about this and all they can offer me is yet another cleaning. Why would I want that? If you cannot do it right the first time? Really. Avoid this place. Learn the lesson from me. I have to pay my regular dentist now for teeth cleaning. Ugh! I wish I never heard of Eastern Dental.

I have had a root canal and cap for 15 years. I went to them because I had bad taste in my mouth, and it was coming from my capped tooth. (January 2012) I was told nothing was wrong. They gave me a cleaning. I went back in February 2012 complaining of tasting bad stuff coming from my front tooth. I was told there’s nothing wrong and to use a dental pick cleaning apparatus. I went back again, and they finally decided to give me new cap ($900). They took the old cap off and saw the root was decayed in the gum and would have to come out, and they consulted with me on an implant. They molded a temporary looking tooth until then. I had enough and went to another dentist. They were, by the way, $400 less expensive than Eastern. Then, they used the money I gave them to pay my son’s bill. He went in for a back filling, and they gave him a white filling, not covered by insurance. He wanted the silver, which was covered. Watch these people.

Let me start off by saying, avoid this place! The biggest complaint I have besides being rescheduled many times (5 times for a wisdom tooth removal) is that I got a nasty receptionist (You know who you are, ** trash) who claims I was the one that rescheduled! No, sweetie, I'm not that stupid or forgetful. What kind of professional (I use that term loosely) argues with their patients? Professional? You're far from it! Get off your high horse, Hun! You sit on a chair for 8 hours making appointments! It's a no brainer! Stop trying to ask like you are some kind of CEO and maybe if you treated your patients with respect, they would come back and Ed wouldn't be losing any business!

I see the dirty looks you shoot your patients and how you make fun of them as they walk away. I hope this job you have is for good, because no one would hire such an arrogant, ignorant person such as yourself. For such a minimum wage job, I would still try my best to treat my patients with the respect they rightfully deserve, as they are your paycheck. Without them, there's none. Remember that.

The dentist that worked on me did not listen to or understand my medication concerns and prescribed a medicine that I was allergic to. My pharmacy contacted me with their concerns and they contacted the dentist for me. The dentist then changed the prescription to another medication that I was allergic to. At that point, I gave up and went without proper medication!

If you have an appointment for 10:00, be prepared to stay in the waiting room without being contacted for 45 minutes or more. I left. It is a shame as the oral surgeon I had there was real good. I have been waiting for over 45 minutes and having to drive there for 30 minutes. There are better things to do and there are other dentists.

I had a crown glued back in. I had to ask for sterilizing of crown before re-gluing. The dentist did not sterilize the gum end of crown (as other dentists always did). The DDS (if u can call him that) takes every short cut. The dentist uses the cheapest materials possible to keep the profit up. It was the worst and the most incompetent treatment I ever got. Steer clear of this office.

On or about January 8, 2009, I was seen at Eastern Dental to have teeth removed and a full upper denture to be made. I was assured by Eastern Dental that having a full denture made by them was 100% covered under my Blue Cross insurance plan and that this was approved by Blue Cross. This procedure should have taken no more than two months at the most, at eastern dental it took more than six months. On August 1st, my insurance plan changed. On September 19th, I was to pick up my new dentures. I was asked if my insurance had changed and I said yes. I was then told that I would have to pay $418.00 for my denture. I was told in the beginning that this was fully covered.

My wife called and spoke with Blue Cross and learned that If they had did what they said (had submitted it for approval) Blue Cross would have paid the full amount. I do not feel that it is fair that I be responsible for the cost of this denture because they took longer than necessary to make my denture and because they failed to submit the request for approval. I understand that it is fraudulent to bill for a procedure that has not been performed, but it is not fraudulent to submit for an authorization before the procedure begins, had they done this, my insurance would have paid it at 100% because they would have had a record of when the service started.
