A couple times in a month, I would send in emails to GreenPath or see how my account is doing. Interacting, everything was great. I have five credit cards and each one was different. Some were lowered at 2%, some lowered to 5%.

I was happy with my experience with GreenPath, I really appreciate them. They got the interest rate down on my credit. I got a balance on my card because my dog got sick and it was sudden, he actually died. It wasn't something I intended to happen, but considering it was a bad time for me, they were there and were helpful. I'm just disappointed that every time I use them (and they look at it), a mark goes on my credit. But overall, I recommend them.

We went through Consumer Credit Counseling and they switched to GreenPath. We had great interactions with them, and they were able to lower both our interest rates and made our payments easier. I’m relieved it’s over.

When I first signed up with GreenPath, they were called Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Nebraska. I went with their program because I knew that I could get lower interest rates going through them instead of my bank. I got a lot lower rate on all three of my credit cards and once a year, I get to talk to one of their staff members about my progress. Greenpath has a good debt management program, and it helps people think that there are other options besides claiming bankruptcy, that they can pay off their debts and life will be good after that. In fact, I was able to pay off my debts in 55 months and now I have a little more relief.

It was through my bank that I came to know of GreenPath. I had no problems interacting with their people and they were able to lower my interest rates. Being with GreenPath saved me a lot of money. I already paid them out and closed, and I'm about to use them again. I would highly recommend someone to go through them.

When my husband or I called them everybody was very nice and helpful and when they spoke to the credit card companies they were able to set smaller interest rate charge so we had a really good experience with them. In the beginning it took a while to figure everything out (you had to get all your accounts together, get a credit report, etc.) but getting the one payment was easier than having to keep up with many.

I've used the debt management through GreenPath, which was extremely helpful. It was a big relief to not have to worry about getting a hold of the creditors and trying to figure out how to pay them. I would absolutely recommend GreenPath Debt Solutions if I knew someone who needed debt consolidation. They were wonderful. It involved a lot of credit cards but in almost every single case they were able to bring down the interest rate. The only thing I wished they would change is the monthly statements. All the monthly statements told you was how much you paid, how much they paid to each one of your debts, and then how much GreenPath gets. GreenPath statements didn’t show what the balance of each particular credit card was. I think that needs to be included in the statements.

We spoke to the GreenPath team in the first month at length. Then, every few months, they'll call me up and give me updates through phone or email. They were able to lower some of my interest rates and helped me in a positive way because I learned how to not make too much credit and to use it wisely. They've been great.

I have learned a valuable lesson through the program and have learned to respect money more now than ever before. You can learn to live with less and not feel deprived. Once again thanks GreenPath for helping me with my finances.

GreenPath is top notch. One credit card company had some resistance but they jumped on board to stop and lower the interest rates because I'm a year and a half ahead of time; the plan was over five years. I get updates by way of email. When I had a change of agent, I was notified of it immediately. It is good as you know whom to contact if there is a problem. When one of my credit cards notified me that I owe them $31, I called them to check on that that and they solved the problem.

They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They lowered my interest rates and helped me pay off all the credit cards that I otherwise wasn't able to pay off. It was very easy to get started and I was with GreenPath's program for about five years, so it was easy to maintain.

GreenPath Debt Solutions was referred to me by my credit card company. They were very good based on the interactions I've had with them. They were able to lower my interest rates. We've just finished the five year plan and it was pretty tough in the first year but got easier after a couple of years. After five years, that's a heavy load lifted off of us and now we're debt-free.

We meet people from GreenPath every six months to review our balances and everybody was courteous and friendly. Greenpath was able to lower our interests and credit card rates and we were able to pay off our debt. It was excellent. We also had our family relative join and they also finished their debt too.

I encountered GreenPath when they took over CCCS. However, the transition from CCCS to GreenPath wasn't smooth in terms of customer service. A lot of my account information from CCCS didn't transfer over to GreenPath so that made my payment difficult. It seemed that getting a payment processed to my debtors in time was hard for them to do. For some reason whenever I send them a payment on the 15th of the month, they had my payment scheduled with GreenPath on the 29th of the month so they withhold the payment from the 15th to the 29th of the month then it would get to the actual creditor late. Though I've only with them for a year, the whole payment process made my life difficult every month that I had to deal with it over and over.

GreenPath paid off my bills and now my debt is gone. They were always courteous and helpful.

My wife was happy with the way things were going with GreenPath, as far as staying on top of it and making sure it was done right. They were able to lower our interest rates and t's definitely improved now that we've finished that. Things are better so we can take care of our finances by ourselves now.

I would recommend GreenPath to anybody. They were very easy to set up and use. They were able to lower my interest rates so I've been happy with their program. They also have a very good team. They called me to let me know when the payments are gonna be over and they told me that it was done. They told me to check back to see if everything was clear through my bank.

They worked with everybody and were able to take something that was spread across several number of people and made it convenient where it became one payment twice a month. I was pleased because one of the debts went into a different creditor and she figured all that out with me and did the three way calling, which was great. After working with Greenpath, I don’t have a whopping bill anymore cause I ended up paying it off so my credit's gotten a lot better. It’s a great program and I’d recommend it to anybody.

My mortgage person suggested GreenPath to seek assistance. Their team was very helpful and explained the program pretty well. I don't accept that greenpath debt solution that high cost payment. I did called them to cancelled in greenpath debt solution. Today, I am very upset and very attack anxiety cause due my health why greenpath debt solution send me more by email. I wrote to please stop send me by email today. I found paper to signed for cancel but they didn't tell me cause I am deaf and very frustrated communication to hurt. I am worrying too much if Greenpath debt solution will be take my money that will be not food. I have other debt relief that is better.

They got the job done but I didn't like the fact that I had to pay an extra $50 especially when I'm in a financial bind. If I could afford to pay that extra $50, I wouldn't be going to a credit company. But it was well worth it. Their team was good and it was wonderful that they helped me lower my interest rate. There were some of them that had 0% interest, others that were lower than what they originally were. They were completely paid off, so they did their job. I even told a couple of friends that they really ought to try GreenPath and that we were really happy with them.

The initial visit with GreenPath Debt Solutions was good. They explained the process and how much it would actually cost me to go through it. I told her, “I’ve got all these student loans, I’ve got all these debts that I need to pay off (and back then I wasn’t having to pay rent or anything). I would like to start taking care of it. I came across GreenPath over the internet. Their team is very professional, very polite, very informative. Overall, very good. They were able to lower my interest rate on a lot of loans, and in some cases, they actually got it down to no interest. It got us out of debt and we're doing pretty good right now. If we did on the people we were paying off, GreenPath handled everything perfectly for us - so we didn't really have to get involved with the creditors. I work at a credit union and it was the president that helped get us to GreenPath. We’ve dealt with GreenPath for five years and out of the five years, we’ve had a fantastic experience with them. They were able to lower my interest rates and that was a big plus. We paid off $60,000 in debt and they helped us make it to five years. It was a learning experience. I called and explained to them that being a bus monitor and working summers, our bus rounds aren't as long as what they are during the year. They got real snotty with me so I said, I gotta do something about this. I called GreenPath and they helped me out. My first counselor was Reina ** and she was very helpful when I first signed up. She did everything that was humanly possible to reassure me that everything would be taken care of. For the first six months, she was calling me every month to see how I was doing. My second counselor was for loan, since it was a five year agreement that I had to be with them to pay everything off. She called me one time to introduce herself which was very nice, and she said we're almost at the end. At the very end, I talked with Michael. I told them I can't say enough good about everybody that I had contact with. GreenPath made me wake up and realize that I don't need to live on credit cards. They were a very big help and it was a wonderful experience.

People at GreenPath were all wonderful. Everybody was so good whenever I called them or had questions. My interest rate went from 24 to 7. I paid all my credit cards off in one year. It's been nice because I can sleep and I don't worry about money. I have a savings account now, it's amazing. I love them and I tell everybody I know about them. My experience with them has been educational.

Our experience with GreenPath went well. I did what was requested and necessary to be done to make payments accordingly. They served as good counselling. I complied and accomplished my objective. I had to consolidate what I had and asked how they were going to research with the lenders, and how we can assess a balance in which to make payments for each of the accounts. They helped me reach a compromise which the credit lender would agree would be an appropriate debt management program. That was how they based it, and what could be affordable to be paid monthly.

The only thing that I wished they did is that they would give us a report or letter at the end that said I have successfully completed the program. I paid off $40,000 in debt in less than 3 years. GreenPath were lifesavers. They were angels to me. God led me to them and I would not have been able to do it without them. I didn't even know that GreenPath existed about 6 years ago but they are great. I had over $100,000 in debt. One credit card I had just went from 3% to 25%. So I went to them and they worked everything out so some cards were actually 2%, 0%. Maybe about 60 to 70,000 dollars I paid off with GreenPath. They're a great organization. Everybody is always very cordial and professional. I've had a great experience with them. They helped drop the interest rates.

Everything is done in black and white so we understood everything that was going to happen and how it's going to be dealt with. Then they switched us over when they closed the Gaylord location and when I called there about a couple of questions I had they were more than efficient and were able to help me. It was a long 4 and a half years, but we're finally done since October. This experience taught us how to use cash more than credit and to think before we bought.

I first heard about GreenPath at State Employees Credit Union. I talked to one lady that I knew really well at the La Vale branch and told her what was going on. She said that being a member, they worked with you all so that's why I contacted GreenPath. I called them a couple of times, the guy got things set up. I would recommend GreenPath highly to anybody who's in debt. They're professional and courteous. Dealing with GreenPath has been a good experience. Initially, I had walked in and submitted all of the necessary documentation and from there on, from my first meeting, it wasn't really necessary to contact them at all because I made all necessary payments. I'm now debt free. I referred two more people. One of them completed the program and the other one is about to complete it in probably eight months. We originally had called another company at Washington State, not GreenPath. They sound legitimate but they turned out to be dishonest. They wanted us to pay like upwards of $10,000 to them before they even made any payment on any of our bills. They said don't pay any of the bills. I retired in 2009 after serving as an educator for 33 years. As a young woman, I always thought that when I retired, I would have more money saved than accumulated debt. I am so pleased with Greenpath. They were very professional and non judgmental when I first contacted them for help. 3 years later I am out of $21,000 debt. Greenpath has been a great help to me to get my credit cards under control. Everyone was so nice and professional and knowledgeable. Everything went smooth as clock work until last amt. I owed around $160.00. The regular amount of draft was taken out of $500 and I called and wanted to make sure my checking acct. would not be over drafted so I had to stop payment on draft and it cost me $31.00 in banking fees to do so and then I mailed you all the balance in a M.O. I feel very strongly Greenpath should reimburse me for this fee. If they do then I would recommend the company to anyone, if not i would not recommend them to anybody! Thanks again and it would be so sweet to find a check in my mailbox for $31 very soon!

I was with the company when it had the old name. The company was called 3-C before it was GreenPath. They were very good and you could call them if something has come up. Didn't have any problems at all. I always did that debt consolidation and I've now paid everything else and am a lot happier.

We had to have a wake up call sometimes and they worked with us very nicely. They were able to lower our interest rates and helped us budget the money we actually needed so we knew how much money we could pay towards our cards in the debt that we had. And as we were ending, they continued to ask if there was anything else that we needed them for. They're wonderful. My wife and I finally hit the wall last year and decided we needed to do something to finally pay off our debt. We looked around and talked to friends and Greenpath was mentioned. We arranged for a meeting to size up the options. Matt helped us wade through the mire of debt to find relief. It has been a year now and we have had three Credit Cards paid off so far. We were also able to free up some other money to pay off two other debts also. We are on track now and in three years we are to be debt free. There is a fee for the service but if you add up the cost of the interest they are going to save you, it is minor in comparison. Thank you for the help.

The best thing that has happen in my life was the day I contacted Accell - GreenPath. The largest debt out of all that we had was a $10,000 dollar debt for foundation work on our home and needless to say, I didn't think there was any way to pay that off before the year it was contracted for ended and all the interest started. With the support of GreenPath and the encouragement of the young lady that was helping me we did it! Then each debt was paid in full - and now I know I'll not be leaving any debts for my children to worry about when I'm gone and best of all, God willing, I have years to live debt free.

Started out confusing until someone from their quality dept called to explain the process completely and clearly after 4 different reps failed to do so, which caused a lot of stress from late fees and past due amounts. 5 months later, the problem was finally fixed. Hopefully it stays that way...

My husband went to seek help with debt management. The counselor basically told us he was unable to give us a plan and referred us to a bankruptcy lawyer. After further investigating I was able to settle and make payment plans with the collectors myself. I highly recommend doing the work yourself and not going with this company. The counselor said the plans I already had arranged were much better than what he could've done for us.

I called GreenPath for information about my options with an overdue credit card. The rep I spoke with told me that because I had already let the debt lapse into collections that one of my best options would be to negotiate with my creditor about paying off a lower balance. She told me that most companies would settle for as little as half of the total due. She was right; I settled my debt for 50% of what I owed and paid federal taxes on the remainder (which the GreenPath rep had warned me about). I just wanted to leave a positive review since I was pleased with the information I received; however, I will caution that I only called them for advice & cannot speak on their reliability when paying down debts through their agency.

Besides the initial consultation, Green Path has done nothing for me, except make the original agreement with the credit card companies. I have had to do all the legwork to make sure that things were being paid correctly. Absolutely no updates throughout 5 year program. At the end payments were changed without my knowledge or consent. My debt had been such a burden for the last 5 years that it was disheartening that the debt counselor seemed so aloof with the details of my account. Would not recommend to someone that isn't willing to double check and monitor their own progress.

This fee needs to be disclosed in the first 5 minutes of the consultation. Clients are struggling with their finances to begin with, so why not wave the fee and just charge the monthly maintenance fee, this will attract more people. The company will show good faith.

First of all, there was no good solution - their solution was to cancel my credit cards for a payment that was only barely lower than what I am already paying -- but the BAD part is NOW I AM GETTING CALLS AND LETTERS FROM OTHER DEBT CONSOLIDATION CO'S. I know that GreenPath gave my info (sold my info) because they are the ONLY people I spoke to about my personal info. I spoke to no one else regarding anything to do with consolidating my debts - no one! They promised confidentiality. THEY LIED.

We joined GreenPath in August of 2011. They took our monthly payments on time and monthly without fail. The issue lies in both my credit file and my husband's. Be sure you watch your credit files closely because you may just find that all of your accounts are reported late, even some sent to collections and some charged off!! All I can say is they sure failed us both!

I signed up with GreenPath in May 2013. What happened is they lost my down payment. They want me to continue paying my monthly fee until further notice. I do not think so. Even my fiance is having problems with them.

Report this company to the Better Business Bureau. They currently have only one complaint, and that was today from me. I told the counselor this was what I was going to do as soon as I got off the phone. No sooner had I filed the complaint, then I received a call from GreenPath offering to refund the money. Right, as soon as cooler heads prevailed -- why not pay the small amount of money to avoid the beginning of complaints at the BBB.

They offered me 3 months trial for modification. I paid on time, and now I received a check with my money back. They did not respect the agreement. I have proof of the letter they sent me for the trial. I have the cashier's check when I paid the monthly payment.

I was referred to Green Path from the Get Hope Hardest Hit Indiana organization and after jumping through all their hoops, I never heard a word from them and never received any help including encouragement. These people are a complete farce and will only get your hopes up. When I contacted the Get Hope organization, they told me Green Path was not part of their program. Do not waste you time or expectations with these people, as you will only get deeper in trouble. Luckily, I belonged to a credit union who were willing to help me keep my house. Do not use these people!

Forms need to be more customer specific, and there shouldn't be a time required per module. When completed, it should allow you to move to the next module. I spent 10 minutes on every module, sitting around, waiting for the next part of their required test.

We had recently come to an agreement with Golden Dude (CCCS) who merged with Green Path Debt Solutions recently. Our experience with CCCS was kind of shaky at first but we were able to hammer out most of the kinks. We had to sign a contract not once but twice. About a month after starting with them, we were advised verbally that they were merging with another company whose name was never mentioned.

On 7/15, I contacted Chase bank regarding my credit card. I wanted to know why the minimum payment was so high. The balance is $4620 and payment was $231.00, which is 5%. They said that there was nothing they could do for me, but would link me to GreenPath. I talked to a rep, she emailed me forms and I filled them out. When I decided not to go with the company, I thought everything was back to normal. Today 7/28, I got my mail. 2 letters from Chase Bank stating that their decision after reviewing my accounts, that one CC I have had for 15+ years for credit line of $27,000 has been closed and a CC with credit line of $7000 has been reduced to $5800. I feel that if I never talked to GreenPath, this would never have happened. How could Chase receive this info if it was not for GreenPath?
