I can not recommend this company highly enough. I found this company through my bank and they recommended GP for helping me get rid of my debt. Submitting my account documents was easy, as was setting up my personalized payment plan. GP helped me pay off my $72,300 debt in 4 1/2 years and I couldn’t be happier! I don’t plan on having to use their services again, but I tell anyone who asks about a debt management company that GreenPath is hands down the BEST! If you want to be debt free, use them. You’ll be so glad you did!

Green Path's debt payment program was very helpful to me as it streamlined my monthly payments. I am extremely happy that I used the GreenPath Financial Wellness Program. I was so much in debt with my credit cards that I didn't know what to do. I turned to GreenPath and they handled everything. I had accumulated a ridiculous amount of consumer debt. I began "retail therapy" following my father's passing and continued to abuse credit cards for years after. I had gotten to a concerning amount (I had trouble sleeping at night) and decided I had to do something about it. I was referred to GreenPath by a friend and it was the best decision for me. The counselors were extremely helpful, courteous, and non-judgmental. They helped me develop a payment plan that worked with my current lifestyle. Though I was paying bills, I was able to do some comfortably. I also learned a few new tricks in budgeting. The envelope method is my favorite and is working well.
Thankfully, I was able to not only manage my payments, but pay off my debt before my originally intended payoff date. I was embarrassed by having to use a debt management program, but honestly, carrying the debt was much more embarrassing. It was also encouraging to know that I was not the only person having to climb their way out of a financial mess. If anyone is in debt, need help, guidance, support, or to learn about options available after losing income PLEASE consider GreenPath. I have nothing but good things to say about this program. Without it, I don't know where I would be right now--likely still trying to chip away at debt on all my high interest credit cards.

I also really liked how they created the online portal to make tracking your progress easier. I have a credit card through Amazon and the payments and interest were getting too high. One of their phone people told me about GreenPath and I called them. Enrolling was pretty easy. I gave their reps my information and we discussed how much I could afford to pay a month, and then based on that plan, we determined how long it would take for the debt to go away. They are well-organized which was encouraging for me. Some close friends I confided in were very suspicious of what GreenPath's actual intention was when they heard I was using a debt consolidation company. GreenPath was transparent about everything. They told me their charges and how much everything would cost. I completed their program and now I'm debt-free.

This company was the best! Partnered with them 5 years ago to help get out of credit card debt. They helped make deals with all my creditors and made it painless throughout. Just made one monthly payment to them and they would pay each creditor. GreenPath is simple and easy to use, so I'd recommend them. They were recommended by Wescom, my credit union and when I signed up online, it was easy. I first used them six years ago and there were no questions. It was fast. They told me the payments I made that were set, if I made them, how long it would take to pay it off. If I paid more, then that would speed it up. I had an idea of how long it would all take and I didn't have questions and concerns along the way. I only called them twice and they were friendly and helpful. I got what I needed, so no problems.

The service from GreenPath was top-notch. The people I met when I went to see them made me feel more comfortable. I enrolled in person and the process was very good. We did it within 45 minutes. I was impressed with their thoroughness and kindness. They let me know about their programs but they weren't pushy about it. We set up a monthly payment and they really kept in touch with me all the way. As any payment was completed, I got a letter from them to make sure everything was clear with that particular credit card. They were just very good at staying with me without hovering every five seconds.
The program got me out of a massive debt and in a way that wasn't terribly painful. We took a look at what the debt was and their rep did some calculations about how long it would take. Then I had to consider how much I could afford at that point and we came to something that would work for both of us. Then when I got towards the end, they helped me to figure out what the payment should be and we worked out our way right down to the very end. Even when I lost my job with COVID, they gave me a month to just rest, and then we were able to finish up probably a month or so. GreenPath has really guided and supported me all the way. I'm totally debt-free now and will never again use another credit card. It's proven to me that I can live very comfortably without one.

We had a housing debacle and were trying to get our finances under control. We were looking for some way to set up a budget and to get debt-free. GreenPath Financial Wellness has been excellent in helping us do that over the years. The enrollment process was great. At the time, I lived in Chicago. I took all of my information down to the main office and I met with the counselor. The counselor walked me through how much it would cost and how they would contact our debtors.
They got everything set up for us and they were able to set things up where they would just take the money out of our account each month to pay our creditors, which worked out really well for us. I was a teacher and I got paid bi-weekly. They would take the money out toward the end of the month. They were excellent. Each time I called, all of the representatives were able to help me. We’re able to go to the portal that they set up for us and check to see how we were progressing. They also covered us with emails. They did an excellent, excellent job and I've referred them to several family members as well.

The process was helpful. I needed it and it came in a good time. I was in a bad situation. I had to go with what GreenPath had and it worked out. If only the payments could’ve been a little smaller, but I really appreciated it. It helped me out and it was fine. I bank with Educators Credit Union and it was something they offered. I turned to GreenPath when I reached a financial point where I was not able to keep up with everything on my own. I used GreenPath many many years ago also, so there was no debate about whether or not to use them again. Everything was completed online and every person I dealt with when signing up, when there were site issues and when I was making extra payments and paying individuals accounts off, was very nice, supportive and encouraging as well as congratulatory about my progress. What should have taken me over three years to pay off was completed in 27 months.
I'm changing how I deal with my finances, and as much as I hope that I never have to use GreenPath and their services, I know they are there. I have recommended GreenPath to others who were in my situation, explained how they work and how some of the pressure was lifted. I was able to work with the payments that were based on what I could afford and I only had to ensure that the money was in the bank every week, instead of having to pay a bunch of different bills every week.

Everything went great with GreenPath. Their reps were really good and the payment plan was great. It was what I needed. When it got to January and I was within a good range of getting paid off really quickly, I decided to concentrate on that and finished paying it off. Last year my wife and I had a serious of unfortunate events that left us several months behind on over a dozen accounts totaling nearly 80k in unsecured debt. We would receive 20+ calls a day from creditors and 2019 was a terrible year for us. We finally decided to contact Greenpath and get our debts managed. Within 2 months all of the creditor calls stopped. We were able to make a plan with greenpath that allowed us to make just two deposits a month on our schedule then they would cut the checks to dozen+ creditors. Most of our interest rates were negotiated to <10%, some even having a negative real interest rate with inflation!
I've spoken to Greenpath at least 15 times since we signed up in October 2019 to add new debts, pay off smaller ones to snowball other debts and even suspend a DMP payment for a week until the money was available in our account. No problems and everyone was beyond pleasant. I enjoy calling greenpath because I get a sense of relief during and after the call. I know things will get done.
My only cons are that when we called to start adding debts and creating our DMP, we were informed 3 unsecured loans which one included a car payment wasn't eligible. We were paying about $1200 a month on the debt. I ended up calling again at a later time to deal with another matter and I brought it up and in fact it could be added to the DMP and Greenpath negotiated that debt from $1200/mth to 700/mth which basically paid off our entire car loan that was about $475/mth prior to being refinanced and bundled in with an unsecured cash loan. It would have been nicer to get the ball rolling on that debt earlier.
Second is they sent out an offer letter to a creditor but the creditor did not reply to Greenpath. Greenpath made what they assumed would be the monthly payment they would accept. GP sent the payment for about 4 months without a response from the collection agency then we ended up getting served and sued in small claims over the debt by the collection agency. We were able to pay off the debt in full and get the suit dismissed, but the court costs and service fees ate up the 4 months of payments GP ended up sending them. Otherwise, we love Greenpath. We are on track to pay off about 80k in debt by October 2022 or 3 years since we signed up. We plan on snowballing some of the smaller debts with any extra income and tax returns. We'll be "bad debt" free before our original 3 year DMP goal. :) Greenpath is a solid 9/10.

I live in Madison, Wisconsin and the United Way has a central clearing house we called 2-1-1. I talked to a lady there. I needed some help with financial problems I was having and she referred me to GreenPath. They were very professional and right on target. They listened very carefully. I was with them for almost four years and I have only positive interaction with them on phone and online. I finished the program about a month ago. I had some extra money so I paid off the $390 on the final payment. I called them and told them that my account was done, and they closed it. They did everything just right. I thanked them over the years every time I called or when I had an interaction with them. I will always thank them for helping me get back on track.

Greenpath helped me get my credit cards paid off. They worked with the creditors on amount that I was able to pay them every 2 weeks. If you were not able to pay I would call them and explain my situation and they helped me with a plan.

We were clients of Green Path for 37 months. We recently were fortunate enough to pay off $43,000 in credit card debt. They were behind us every step of the way. Communication was wonderful, no problems. A couple times that we needed to skip a payment, they were understanding and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to get back on track. It's tough, it really is. But learning to say no to yourself is a learning curve that is rewarded in the end..

I could never have gotten out of debt without Greenpath. The DMP was a fantastic tool and setting it up was easy with their help. I can’t recommend them enough. Removing the stress of negotiating with my creditors meant I could focus on how to get successfully through the five years and not only did I do it, I finished six months early.

I was thinking about filing bankruptcy five years ago and someone let me know about GreenPath, so I gave them a call. I liked what they said and went with it. I had almost 20,000 in debt at 24% interest on credit cards and they got it dropped down to 4% or 5% and half the payments, 800 down to 400. I only talked to them when I got it set up until I paid it off recently. I paid off the last 2,000 about a month ago. I feel better and I'm much happier paying off my debt instead of just filing bankruptcy.

I called GreenPath's number and they arranged me to talk to one of their workers. They were very nice. They said, "This is what to do. This is what we do. This is how this works. And you decide if this is what you want." They had all the answer. They had a counselor speak to you and you were able to talk to them and see if this is what you wanted to do.
The program took weight off of my shoulders in worrying that things weren't gonna be paid that I had to keep scrambling. They deal with the creditors. They use your information. They set things up that the money that you can arrange to pay, what you had to take care of and what they did, what they took care of, and it worked. You were always able to call them whenever you had a question or you could write things down and they always came up with an answer. With the other companies that I talked to, they just talked over me and they never gave satisfactory answers to say that they were protecting me and my credit rating.
I am very satisfied with GreenPath and the way they handled my case. Any time I call, I may not speak to the same person that you spoke to, but they all knew my case. They always send mr a reconciliation. I got mail from them on weekly or monthly basis. I would always be able to call when I don't understand something and they were willing to speak with me. It was a relief to have someone understand what was going on. No one criticized me. They were marvelous people to work with. I'll recommend them to anybody.

The ultimate reason to get into this program was we had so many different types of bills we were paying out and my wife was frustrated. I gotta make a payment here and pay it there. It was a huge undertaking for us. My brother has been using GreenPath for years and so he suggested it and that’s what turned us on to it. We started using them and we used them for quite a few years because we were adding more medical bills to the program. Then we finally got it all paid off to where we don’t have anything. They were fantastic. I could send an email or I could call them and anybody I talked to had access to our account. They were always willing to help and do whatever we needed them to do. They were excellent to work with and we loved the program. We just finished it last month. We're relieved quite a bit. It frees up a lot of cash flow in our checking account.

Your credit report submitted to us September 2018 indicates some accounts fell past due when transitioning onto the debt management program. Our notes on March 27, 2017 indicate you wanted to say current on your accounts, however, you didn’t think it was feasible and we discussed late fees and impact to credit. We also encourage clients to pay the difference between our payment and the normal creditor payment until notification is received from the creditor they have accepted the plan and have changed your monthly payment. It is always a creditors discretion regarding enrolling in a program. By paying the difference, it avoids negative credit impact of late payments. We understand clients may not be able to do this and we are sorry there was confusion during that discussion they would fall past due if the difference was not paid. I’m very happy now that the overload of debt is gone! I only wish they kept me more inform on the status update of things. Other than that I’m satisfied. Knowing when a bill is paid in full would of made things a lot more reassuring in knowing the status of finishing each debt.

I have never been so pleased with a company in my life. GreenPath was recommended by a friend and they were so above and beyond wonderful. I was never judged for the financial mess I made for myself, just helped time and time again. Every communication I had with them left me with a smile. I've never heard of a company who took a gradually DECREASING fee over time. There was no pre-payment penalty. GreenPath helped me pay off my debts and took the actions I was struggling to do for myself (closing accounts, lowering interest rates). My credit was not as poorly affected since I did not make a settlement on the amount owed, just paid decreased interest rates. Everything was smooth, manageable, and just absolutely outstanding. I went to my bank and told them I was having problems keeping up with my bills. They suggested GreenPath to me. GreenPath pretty much called everybody for me during the enrollment and did most of the heavy lifting so it was pretty easy. Also, everybody was always really nice and easy to get in touch with. I never had to do any kind of crazy waiting. They made it super easy. I've completed the program. Working with them pulled my credit score up and it helped me get a bunch of debt off my back.

My bank suggested GreenPath Financial and I went with them. The enrollment process was okay and their program made it easier for me to pay things off. However, it looked like a wage garnishment on my credit. I was never told anything about things happening that way. Still, everybody there was helpful.

GreenPath does not report to credit bureaus. Creditors may report the payment is being handled by a credit counseling agency and may say something along the lines of:

I was in some pretty big debt that I wasn’t getting anywhere with the interest rates and the amount that has racked up from my divorce, so I decided to reach out. I looked into what was available for me here in my state and GreenPath was the number one that came recommended so I went with them. I had a lot of questions in the beginning because I didn't wanna get into something that was gonna tear my credit apart. I’ve been very conscientious about my credit. They were so patient and they answered all my questions.
Everybody was really wonderful and nice. It was pretty easy to get ahold of an actual human being, which is really great. It’s been a couple of years, but I still have the contact information of the first person I talked to and I’ve contacted them a few times. They were steady. Toward the end, I called and asked how the program wraps up and they looked into everything for me and customized my last payment so I wasn't paying over or not paying enough. I just finished with the program. Last month was my very last payment and they were really great right up until the very end. I’ve told a few people about it when people talk to me about their debt issues.

When I went in, GreenPath stopped the late payments and took my interest down significantly. Also, I like the online portal. My whole thing was about four and a half years and I didn’t start taking advantage of it until the last eight months. I wish I had taken advantage of that earlier whether it was available when I signed up in 2015 or not. The nice thing was it allowed me to keep an eye on how things were going and the progress without having to call credit card companies or log back into accounts to see what was going on. I stayed on top of things and monitored when it was coming down. Toward the end, I made a call and said it looked like I was almost done and asked when my last payment was. Somebody went ahead and said they could use my next payment as my final payment and close out the account. I'm happy that I signed up with them because there was no way I was gonna be able to pay off the debt that I accrued without a little bit of help.

We were trying to get a mortgage and needed to clean up our credit and our credit union suggested GreenPath. The enrollment was a pretty easy process. The reps did a fantastic job and were very helpful. The program has been working well. We’ve been on it for several years and just paid $200 every two weeks. We have completed most of the things that were on there and we've also been able to add things as things were paid off. However, we had to get off of the program because my husband switched jobs and we weren’t getting paid the same.

I'm done with the GreenPath program. When I was looking for a provider, I got a better feeling from them and I didn't feel like I was taken advantage of. Plus, they seem to be more ethical and caring than some of the other sites. The customer service people were super friendly, empathetic and easy to work with. I liked that I could have two payments a month and I could pay more if I wanted to at any time. I didn't have to go through them every time and I just had to let them know. So if I got a bonus, I could pay through the credit card online. I also liked the tools that they had available on their website. Plus, their interest rates were great.

Everything was surprisingly easy to the point that I thought it was too good to be true. But from the time I set up the account to the time that I paid it off, the program with them was painless virtually. It worked super well. My friend told me about GreenPath and she had said they had helped her out. She had given me some details of her issues and stuff of what she had then what they had talked about. I said I’d give it a try because I didn’t know exactly where to go or what to do. I gave them a call and decided to go with them. They basically took money out of our check twice a month and they paid the credit card bills with the money that they took out then they took the fee out with it. I spoke with several people over there and the customer service was really good. One time I had an issue and I called back, talked to somebody else and they were able to fix it.
GreenPath was able to redirect the focus and it helped because they were able to lower the interest rate which enabled us to pay the debts off faster. If I called the credit companies, they wouldn’t lower them. But GreenPath had a contract with the credit companies and they were able to do something different which worked out for me. I was able to pretty much zone in on what I needed to pay first. And because I was able to save, we were able to put a big chunk down on a new vehicle. That was kinda good for us.
I was paying $50 a month up until about the last six months or so. I just progressively was able to pay on it because of the different bonus checks and stuff that we received. I can understand that GreenPath had to make money so they had to have a fee on it. Their fee was good but $50 a month was kinda high. It was like $10 for each card of two $50. And I had $50 for the majority of the time per month. I would’ve rather paid one fee down. But in the last four months, I paid 40 then 30 then 20 for a month then I didn’t pay anything at all because I paid it off. I finished with the program in February. That took almost two and a half years.
GreenPath's website was also very good and I love it. It was very easy to work with and maneuver through. It was very easy to understand what they were doing. But at the same token if I needed to call them and say, “I've paid off this credit card. Don’t pay any more on it,” and to get ahold of them in the middle of the day, it was kinda hard. I learned that I had to call at 7 o’clock in the morning to be able to get ahold of them.

GreenPath Financial was really good about making sure that the payment plan was something that we could do. And we had times when we had extra money and the best idea to do with that was to pay. I really like them. They were always friendly. However, I had one girl who didn’t wanna be there one day and was really grumpy. I texted them and I seemed to have hit a nerve. They apologized and had me talk to somebody else and that was the end of it. I never had anybody like that again. I liked that if you called, you get an answer back. They were very good about calling back and talking us through stuff. When they’d get small debts paid off, they'd send a text to let us know. They paid our bills for us so we could get out of debt. We would’ve been paid off this year, but we paid everything off early this January. They were fantastic and we really enjoyed working with them.

At first I thought I made a mistake because there is a little time to get the program working. Because I was in debt I was nervous. The agents were very comforting and I never came across anyone that I felt did not know what they were doing. Once my creditors were on board and payments were being made and I could finally breath easy I knew this was a terrific program. I actually completed the program early because I added to the monthly payments when I can. I wish I would have tried this much earlier instead I used my house for a piggy bank which created the worst of problems. Today I rid myself of credit cards except one with little to no balance and it feels good... TY Greenpath! I have already referred a friend of mine to you.

Consumers Credit Union said they work with GreenPath for debt management since I talked to them about it. They referred me to GreenPath so I tried them. Their customer service was great. They were phenomenal. I really enjoyed working with them on taking my debt down. For the most part, I took away my credit card debt and the only debt I have left is the student debt. The payments were reasonable and I never missed a payment. Overall, it was a good experience and a good payment plan.

Great way to pay off debt. Didn’t agree that the fee charged doesn’t change once the balance is reduced. Having to pay a $50 monthly fee when my balance was under $2000 wasn’t fair..and for a company helping people get out of debt...made it take longer to pay the debt off with that fee.

Our fees are governed by state regulations. The state of Illinois is a "Debt Count" state, meaning that there is a set amount that Illinois clients will be charged per debt they have on the program, to a maximum of $50. The GreenPath fee for IL is $10/debt.
The fee is not, and in Illinois cannot be determined based upon the dollar amount of debt that is on the program. I am sorry that this colored your experience with our program in a negative way.

A bill led me to seek GreenPath's services and the rapport that they were doing with me that made me go with them. When I call, they are very receptive. They are also knowledgeable about how to go about the concerns with my recision problem, how collections work, and how bills work. I was impressed that the reps were always friendly. They were always offering advice or guidance, even if it wasn’t directly dealing with the issues. The enrollment process was really easy. They broke down information and walked me through it- what this was, what that was, and what the payments were. And they were really easy to access from my email. They worked together with me so the payment was the amount I could afford. It was reasonable and they definitely did their part. Working with GreenPath has made my life better. Enrolling with GreenPath went smoothly. The person who worked with me explained the positives and potential drawbacks of their program very well. I thought the services would be a little broader in terms of negotiating with some of the creditors but I learned that it was mostly a process of working with credit card debt and putting it on a payment plan. It created more discipline than I had on my own. I had nothing but good experiences with them. When I called, I got answers right away. While it wasn't always the answer I wanted, it was a direct one with not a lot of runaround. Once or twice the reps may have had to do some research and get back to me. When they did, they got back very quickly and with really direct responses.
GreenPath's services created some discipline around making and it was one less thing I had to worry about every month. The drawback was that by entering into agreements through GreenPath with my creditors, it was negative from from a credit reporting standpoint. It seems that the report was that I'm in a program and I'm 100% drawn against my credit card. I thought that over time my credit score would improve, but it really didn't. There wasn't really a way to improve it without breaking the program. The rep told me that my credit score would improve in time because I wouldn't be showing up as being 100% utilized on my credit cards.

DuPont Community Credit Union recommended GreenPath to me. When I enrolled, their reps worked with me very well. They were very professional, always answered my questions and always took care of me. I was very comfortable working with my rep and they made my payment plan work with what my income was. GreenPath's service was a good deal for what they were doing for me. I went with another company before and I didn’t understand their process at all. They didn’t contact any of my creditors and I was still sweating. On the other hand, GreenPath notified them immediately. It was an excellent service to have.

In the beginning, I had to do a lot of the legwork myself and I wasn’t expecting that. I was expecting to give them all of my information and for them to set up the deals with everybody. So, it was a lot more interaction with me upfront. But once everything was set up, it was easy ‘cause they took it out of your bank account and then paid everybody. The payment plan was set up pretty well. The representative was really nice. I’ve also contacted customer support several times, and they were always thorough and quick. Anytime I had more than what I needed in my GreenPath account, they would call me and ask me what I wanted to do with it. So, I appreciate that. I had GreenPath for two years before I cancelled the services ‘cause I paid off all of my debts early.

So far, everything worked out fine with GreenPath Financial Wellness. Their reps have been great the whole time - through the set-up process, keeping us informed, answering any questions. They were very good. The payment plan was part of the process as well. They made sure it was achievable. Initially, the process was a bit arduous, but nothing difficult. GreenPath helped us out financially. Their ability to negotiate with the lenders to reduce the interest payments was key to getting it all done within the five-year plan. GreenPath's reps were easy to talk to and get along with whenever I had questions to call, and everything got taken care of. They either got rid of my interest or lowered it on everything I did. So, that was good. When we started, I thought the payment plan was something I could handle, and sometimes I could, but sometimes it got kinda rough. So, I had to skip a payment here or there. It was just a lot for me. But now that it’s over, I am glad. I can finally start getting my credit rating back up and hopefully, buy a house next year.

I sought GreenPath’s services due to combining debt and getting it paid off, and they were a government-sponsored or backed program. They provided a payment schedule and now I’m debt-free. The rep was very thorough and professional. He followed up, got me the forms that I needed and set me up with a portal so I could check my status. Whenever I needed to contact them to verify something, they were always very responsive. We determined what I could afford to pay, and once the credit card companies were willing to accept, they came up with a number. They gave me the dates that were based on the credit card companies. It wasn’t a substantial cost in order to have my debt managed and paid off, so I was willing for somebody else to handle it for me. They're an excellent company and I highly recommend them.

I used GreenPath Financial to pay off my credit card debts. Over 4 1/2 years. They are very professional and helpful and helped me stay on my plan. I now have completed their program and paid off my debt. They are easy to contact and respond immediately and quickly. They followed up with me afterwards to be sure I was satisfied and had any questions answered. They refunded balance owed to me. They made all my credit card payments on time and I was able to see my monthly statements every month. I highly recommend this co. for debt management to anyone who is over their head in debt and cannot catch up or decrease their debt. GreenPath Financial negotiated my high interest rates down to in most cases 50% less and worked out one monthly payment to them and then paid my creditors accordingly each month. It was a sacrifice for those years but soon I can retire and I won't owe anyone anything.

I started with Consumer Credit Counseling in 2011 and was eventually picked up by GreenPath. At that time, I was in a financial mess. I had credit cards, store credit cards, and items in collection that were taking a toll on me. I became depressed and upset with every phone call from a debtor. I used to hate when the time came for them to start calling me. I scoured the internet looking for companies and had connected with one in Boston, MA. I needed someone local and ran across Consumer Credit Counseling. It changed my life. My first appointment, I noticed a huge jar on the floor, it was nearly full of shredded credit cards.
After setting things up with my credit counselor, I was asked to shred mine. I did and became liberated from that moment on. I had a plan to get me out of this debt that had overtaken me. They halted the phone calls from my creditors and I was able to see balances paid off. To say that I was thrilled is an understatement. I continued in this program and this past June, I paid off my last one to a finance company. I truly am grateful to God for this service and how it changed my life. I had an aunt who used GreenPath and she referred my mother to their services, then my mother referred them to me. I was with them for five years and everything was taken care of. I’m very happy for that. The situation gave me the freedom from the financial burden that I had. I also really like the way they work. GreenPath was the best thing since sliced bread for me. This company came in when I needed them very much. I enrolled with them on the phone and it took me two years to complete the program. I had a bill with an account with QVC that got me involved with GreenPath and I had been paying on it. I had been sending $400 to $500 of payments a month to try to get rid of that debt but for some reason, the interest would just eat up that payment. It was awful. With GreenPath, my payments were regulated and I paid not even $200 a month. And that debt just disappeared because it was taken care of so successfully without an ounce of worry on my part. I was able to finish paying for my card and I'm tired, but I appreciate GreenPath's service so very much. I also got a letter of thanks and a refund from QVC for the two additional payments that they took out. All in all, my account was handled with such professionalism and ease by GreenPath.

My bank recommended me the GreenPath Financial Wellness. Originally, I talked to a counselor that send me a contract. After reviewing the contract I decided to go along with it even though some of promises for low payments / interest rate and getting out of debt early seemed like a good choice. The day of my payment I noticed that I was billed an extra $269.00. I reviewed my contract this additional $ 269.00 was not mentioned anywhere.
I called customer service and explained that in the contract there was no mentioned of such a fees. And if that fee did not get deleted by the end of the day I would cancel the contract. In addition I asked a freeze in my account activity. By the end of the day the $269.00 had been removed. I checked my account yesterday and I noticed an additional $220.00 charged. Still nothing being mentioned into contract regarding this extra fee. The moral of the story: If it is too good to be true it probably isn’t. I advice our potential new clients to be aware of working with this organization. Their practices are unethical and predatory.

To provide context for others who may read this review, GreenPath had the opportunity to speak with and work with Ms. Shalesi to address her concerns regarding hidden fees. Upon reviewing the contract, Ms. Shalesi stated she did not have an issue with the fees regarding the program. There was a misunderstanding with regard to the balance of a debt listed on the program. Ms. Shalesi was under the impression that GreenPath added fees to the balance to collect more funds from her. GreenPath assured Ms. Shalesi that she would only pay the balance of her debt along with the agreed upon fees listed in her agreement and nothing more. I freed out of a tremendous amount of debt. I was put on a plan that I could handle and the money got taken care of in a timely fashion. I couldn’t have done that without GreenPath. The enrollment process was very simple. It was said how they were gonna disburse some money to the cards and what I had to do to get started. They answered all my questions and were very upfront with stuff. They explained what was gonna happen over the long term and what the fees were gonna be. The payment plan was also very good and flexible. There were a couple of times that I wanted to increase the amount and they were always accommodating to my needs. I found GreenPath on the internet and called them and talked to them. They sounded like they would be good to work with, and they were. They took the debt that we had and helped pay them off. We had to give them all of our different account information and decide on the payment. And then, they did an automatic payment every month, and it was just set up like that. We were assigned a person that handled our case, and they were always there for us if we had any questions. The program took about three and a half years, and we've already settled our debt. Comparing GreenPath to other debt companies, I would prefer them. I would recommend them over anybody else.

I had worked with GreenPath previously when they had a different name, and I had a very good experience. I also had a very good experience this time, so I knew that I could trust them with my information and the things that I needed them to do. I got them for debt consolidation and paying things off, and they were able to do that and we got it done. I met with an adviser, we went over all of my debt and how to consolidate it, we set up a plan and it went very well. Every time I talked to somebody, they were always very pleasant and very helpful. After going through the whole process, I have a whole lot more disposable income and I get to have fun with my money. I really enjoyed working with them, and I would work with them again in the future if I needed to.

Our credit union recommended GreenPath and we went with them. The enrollment process was very quick and easy to do. GreenPath helped us by consolidating the major credit cards that we had with them. They helped us come up with the amount and arranged a payment we could live with monthly. I sort of had the idea when I started. When we sold our house, we would use part of the equity to pay off the debt which we did. But GreenPath had a manageable figure and we worked it on our budget.
Once we started the program, everything was done over the internet. We didn't talk to anybody until we got ready to finalize and close out the account. We completed the program. We’re debt-free of credit card things. That was the goal. We paid them off about a month ago. We were pleased with GreenPath. They were very receptive to our needs and made it work.

GreenPath was awesome. I had an old debt that was in collection status and I needed a little help with it. I heard about GreenPath through an old co-worker that was using them as well. She said it took her about two years to get back on her feet, and they did just that. I called GreenPath's number and they asked questions just to get an idea of what type of debt I had and the amount. They explained to me the amount that they worked with which is $300 and more. Everything under that, I would have to make arrangements with myself. I did, one creditor at a time, and I paid it off that way. Once they got all of my bills together and had my income information, they did a little math and came up with what would be comfortable for me every month. The payment came out of my account every month automatically. They took it from there and distributed it to all the creditors.
They were very professional and answered all my questions. They were there when I needed them. I worked with several representatives and I was impressed by how quick they were in gathering everything, doing that initial call, and giving me an idea of what it would be monthly. The phone call lasted maybe 20 minutes and that was really cool. However, the queues are backed up when you call so you have a little bit of a wait. But then they do have the function or the option to put whatever number for them to call you back. That works too.

GreenPath helped me get out of debt. I enrolled in their program online and every step was easy. They told me everything I had to do and I didn't have to search for anything. I sent them the creditors and we worked out a solution to what was gonna be beneficial for me as far as what I was gonna pay. The monthly bill also suited me.
Everything was perfect. The customer service reps were always available and when I spoke to a person, they were on point and they led me in the right direction. Everything I needed to know when I called, they helped me. Everybody I interacted with was cordial and nice. The rep had patience and she talked me through a lot of things, especially telling me that this should be a learning experience for me, and it was. They had me covered and I wasn't worried about anything. The GreenPath program taught me how to monitor and how to stay in my means of living. Now, I'm finished with the process. When I googled debt consolidators, GreenPath came up and I went with them. They provided excellent services and the process was very easy. Every time I called and had a question, I got somebody on the phone to answer me. The reps that I worked with were very helpful. They explained everything very clearly and I got all the information that I needed. They spent time with me when I needed that and I never felt rushed. They were very flexible and easy to work with. They asked me what would be comfortable for me right from the beginning. I told them the amount, then we broke the payments down to every two weeks and it worked out fine. I made my monthly payments and I'm done with the program. It was all good when the accounts were finished and everything was settled very clearly. I was having frequent overdrafts and I had a large amount of credit card debt. GreenPath was recommended by my credit union that had my car loan. Their process was very easy and the people there were very helpful. Communication was very good. The payment plan they had me on worked out fine. Before my last call to GreenPath today I was very impressed and happy with the service and people I spoke to over the phone. I am new to GreenPath and I did not know my portal was set up or the details of my account. I called to get a better understanding of the system and figure out how to not get late payments on my credit cards. The person I spoke to on the phone for help was rude, dismissive, and sounded irritated as soon as she answered the phone. Her tone was arrogant and condescending. This person clearly should not be working with the public. She did not have any customer service skills. I was very angry when I got off the phone. I called on April 12, 2019 at 5:15 pm.

My previous relationship got me into some deep debt and it was kinda hard to get out of by myself so I looked for some guidance and some debt management. GreenPath was very helpful and cutting the interest rate was huge. I was able to manage it, and they worked with me to come up with a plan to do so. They set me up a fine and manageable payment plan because they listened to what I had, they looked over my bills at that time and worked with me. They didn’t leave me in such a bind to where I couldn't eat. I was pretty limited, but I knew into going to it. They didn’t put me in a pinch to where it was that uncomfortable.
In the beginning, my interactions with their reps were great. The guy who helped me set up everything was fine. He was very thorough and made sure everything was in order. There were no hitches along the way and I very seldom had to call for anything. But towards the end, I was calling often because I was paying off a lot more than what my normal was and I took the initiative to tell them to take out extra deposits. I had to deal with a different rep every time because it was like a call center. So, sometimes it works and sometimes it didn’t, but most of the time, it did. Some people were ready to talk fast and move on to the next person.
I also got a few instances that they wanted to do what they wanted to do versus what I wanted to do with my money. But other than that, it all worked out. I had access to them whenever I needed and luckily, I didn’t hit anything along the way because everything kept working out fine. I would recommend GreenPath. They were a big relief because they did the payments and did the work. They took out money, so I was aware of it each month and I just kept watching the balance go down. They gave me peace of mind and it added comfort just knowing I wasn’t the only one dealing with the problem anymore. It was a big weight off someone’s shoulders.

When I bought my house, GreenPath was a big part of them approving my loan for my house because I was already in an active debt management plan. They looked at that as being a good thing. At the time I sought their services, I was way at my budget and trying to find a way to better manage myself. I was with a credit union and they automatically covered interest fee or whatever it was for GreenPath. I felt completely comfortable working with GreenPath and talking about my budget. I've been in the program for 10 years and paid them $85 a month. But I finished it recently. They absolutely helped out a lot and I would recommend them.

I was having financial issues and I needed to consolidate all my credit card debts so I could pay it off. I tried to go with another company first but one of my credit card companies wouldn’t deal with them. They told me to go with GreenPath and it worked out for me. There were a lot of forms that I had to download and then upload to them, but they made everything pretty simple. I just filled it out, the accounts, and I sent in statements from the credit cards that I had at the time. They walked me through whatever I needed to do. Then when I was getting close to paying one off, they'd send me a letter to doublecheck with the credit card to make sure it was off. It was a good experience.
I basically owed more in credit cards and I was paying off nothing. When I first started, I’d have to pay $1,400 a month for credit cards debt and I was just barely paying the minimum. Then, when I consolidated with GreenPath and they canceled it and renegotiated, it got it down to where it was bearable. It was at $450 every two weeks. The cost was reasonable and it was good compared to some that I've seen out there. I've paid off all that credit card debt. I'm not completely debt-free ‘cause I have a couple of open credit cards at the moment, but I feel more secure and everything is taken care of.

I had too many payments and I needed help. One of the creditors recommended GreenPath to me and I enrolled with them. All the guys there, in general, were okay. They helped me and they were professional. I once interacted with someone who seemed to be in a bad mood, but it was only one thing in the two years that I was with them. Also, the program was good and it worked for me. The amount I was paying every month was reasonable considering my balance which was too big. It started low and then it went up to almost taking all my check, but that was what I had to do.

I had credit card debt and I liked GreenPath’s good reputation. They provided service where they work with the credit card companies to get the interest rates down and I have to make payments. The online services were too much trouble for me. I have so much stuff to do at work on the internet and computer, and at home. I couldn't deal with it anymore and it was easier to make a phone call so I just called and asked what the balance was. Their customer service was fine and there was no problem. The payment plan was good although it was hard in the beginning. It was a large amount for me to put out. I couldn’t put it toward my student loan so that got behind. It’s over now and although we always think it’s too long when you owe money for something, the time it took to complete it was appropriate. The experience with them was great and I don’t have any complaints. I recommend them to other people.

I spoke with a few companies and I found GreenPath to be pretty good. So, I went with them. Enrolling with them was very easy and their process was thorough. The program enabled me to get caught up without getting further and further behind on interest rates. It also enabled me to get to a place where my credit score went up enough that I was able to get a 0%, over a long period of time, on interest rate. So, the program has been a tremendous help. I have completed it and it was fantastic.
Everybody I worked with at GreenPath was fantastic as well. But in the very beginning, they told me that if I got notices, I should just disregard them and not worry about paying anything that has passed due. They said they'd catch up with that. But that lowered my credit score by 80 points and I got so worried. So, that was very bad advice. And because of that, I missed two payments and those are the only two negative remarks still on my credit. I should've kept up the payments until things were switched over. But despite that, I'd still recommend GreenPath to others.

I am so sorry - you should not have been told to disregard statements or to not worry about keeping up payments. We do let clients know that that is an option if they cannot afford to keep up payments and if they aren't concerned with their credit, but it should not have been presented to you as the only possibility.

I was in financial trouble. My credit union referred me to Greenpath and I used their debt consolidation program. I gave them all the information and they got to work immediately. They were on everything within the month and they provided me with good customer service. However, they switched me over to a different site when I was almost done with the program. I wasn't able to log online anymore as I had a hard time getting the four-digit code. The lady who I talked to was able to help me. She however told me that she was gonna email me my login information and a different pin but she never did. And I never followed up after that. But I'm already done with the program. I'm debt-free now and I’m happy that’s all behind me. I was paying $70 every two weeks which was expensive, but I was provided with services that I was happy with, as well as other additional ones if I needed it. I recommend Greenpath.

My experience with GreenPath was flawless. Any time I had questions about my account or creditors, someone was there to answer my questions and help me make the best decisions for payoff journey. Getting things started was a bit cumbersome but that's to be expected when you're getting things in order to make a concerted effort to pay off a large amount of debt. The online chat option helped save me time when I needed questions answered - I didn't have to call in and wait on hold for a customer service agent. I have recommended GreenPath to several friends and they have taken advantage of the program and are also happy with the outcome. I was able to pay off $20,000+ in credit card debt in 4 years1, of course substantial payments were required each month but it was worth it.

Their enrollment process was very easy and the person I spoke to walked me through it step by step, laid out how much debt I had, and about how long it was gonna take me to get out of it. We worked out a payment plan, and it was straightforward. Their reps have been very professional any time I have had to interact with them, and they were very understanding about whether or not I was able to make the payments that month. They would check up on me at least once a year to make sure that I was still staying on track, and if I had any new debt. But for the most part, I didn’t have too much interaction with them unless there was some issue like automatic payments not going through, then I would have to contact them. But usually, it was just a clerical error.
Their program worked out well for me because I'm not in debt anymore. I just stick to my payment plan, and they pulled it automatically from my account, so I didn’t even notice it was gone. It was a hassle-free experience. I completed the program in a little less than five years to clear all my debt. In terms of the cost in relation to the quality of the service I received, it didn’t cost me anything in the sense that they were the ones that were dealing with my creditors to settle my accounts. Part of the reason I went with them is they're non-profit so it didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of which was comforting at the time. It's never pleasant to be in debt, but they made the transition out of debt a lot easier. It was overall a very pleasant experience and I've recommended them to a few people that are going through a similar situation.

I had some credit card debts and GreenPath has an office here in Madison which I found on the internet. The enrollment process was pretty easy. I went out there and met with somebody. I tried to get some information and there were a couple of phone calls and we were pretty set. Everything has been very nice and everybody has been good. The program got me out of debt, was able to lower interest rates, and paid everything off. It feels good to be out of credit card debt. I would recommend them to a friend.

I put in for a loan with a different company to have some work done on my house but then I was told that although I was paying my bills, I had too many. When I called GreenPath and spoke to their rep, I knew that I would go with them. He was great and reassured me that he would take care of everything. GreenPath made sure that I had money to live on and everything was budgeted. They weren't taking all of my money but then they would set goals for when I would get my bills paid off.
At one point, they were able to renegotiate one of my debts and reduce my payments. That saved me 100-so dollars a month, which worked out perfectly. I didn't have to go into an office and did everything on the phone. With them, I was able to fax all my bills for so many months. I have referred quite a few of my friends to GreenPath, and the ones that have gone was totally happy. I couldn't ask for a better service. I was 100% satisfied.

I got in too much credit card debt and I couldn’t get out. I heard about GreenPath through our bank, WESTconsin Credit Union, and the enrollment was easy to understand. Everybody was real nice about getting things set up. It was also pretty quick. It took a little longer when they called the credit card companies, but within a week or two, it was all set up. They got lower interest rates for me so that I could manage it to get them paid off. Anytime I called, I was able to get a hold of somebody. I got $43,000 off in five years but it was not easy. I had to pay close to $1,000 a month for five years, but it felt good to be done with it. I don’t know what I would’ve done without the help that I got.

WESTconsin put me over to GreenPath, and I went to them. I was at Bremer bank, but I didn’t like them that well so I switched over to the credit union. I was looking at what to do with my debt and because I had that debt, the financial advisor at the bank said that I didn't qualify for a consolidation loan. He told me what I could do and recommended GreenPath Debt Solutions. I went into the whole debt management and reduction service which was fantastic. I spoke to the reps on the phone collecting all the bills and stubs. Then, I went down and spoke to one of their advisors and we set up a plan. I checked once in a while on progress until they provided the website and then, they just looked there and kept an eye on things. When I spoke to the staff, they were always very courteous and helpful.
GreenPath kept my monthly outlay affordable and yet, I've paid off my debt which to me, was worth it. Working with them was positive. It opened up that new hole because it’s all consolidated in one payment. I had more cash for emergencies and things like that available to me which made a difference. I’m still fighting with Citibank because they screwed something up and they're claiming an account isn't paid in full. So, I'll just finish paying that off but otherwise, everything went well with GreenPath. The service that they provided was excellent and I had a very good experience with them. If anybody is in a situation like that, I would recommend that they speak to GreenPath.

We were struggling monthly to meet the minimum payment and I never saw an end in sight that the debt was gonna go away. I went through something here locally through United Way and that company was bought out by GreenPath. So, they have helped me before through a different agency. Once the program was set up, I could choose to log online. Then, I would email them and I usually got a response within a day or two. All the debt that we transferred over to them was gone as of January and it has made life better that I don't have that debt anymore.

Enrolling with GreenPath wasn't difficult at all. We met with them and discussed with one of their people what the options were. One thing we really liked with them was that their reps were accommodating as far as hours go. They stayed past their normal hours to meet with us. Once we had set up an account, the rest of the process could all be done online.
Though what we had was a five-year program, we decided to take out the remaining balance we had and put it into another credit card that didn't have any more fees. Even so, GreenPath's program was helpful in the beginning when we had a big balance to work with. It was also easy for us to cancel our account with them and they were great about it. They sent us a letter saying that we took out the money we owed. Their program worked for us.

Well, I've reached the end of my GreenPath journey, which feels odd, as I feel like I've been paying money towards these debts my entire life (in reality it was about 12 years). My debts were predominantly medical, based around not working after an accident, going through depression and stress, adding up mismanagement of credit cards in my 20s, and pure denial that I needed to deal with the rising bills. I was told about GreenPath through a family friend, and an account was created for me in which I could pay off various bills slowly, and GreenPath would handle the damage; the threatening phone calls, the intimidating reminders in the mail.
As I changed jobs and my salaries grew, so did the amounts I was able to put through GreenPath. Originally $20 here and there, then $40 a week, then $60, then paying whole bills outright. The process is by no means easy; you still need to double check collection letters you get to see amounts (together myself and a GreenPath representative were able to find discrepancies in bills I was receiving in my favor), you need to save everything you get by email or mail for taxes and oversight, and if you overdraw on your account, you get penalized for it.
But the program WORKS. I didn't feel shamed by my debt, I was able to contact GreenPath at any time to ask about certain withdrawals, or how much I still had left to pay, or even if I could pay something outright because I had the extra funds that week. It helped me immensely to see these high numbers going lower and lower each week, and I really love on the new website how you were able to track your goals and see the calendar that showed when you had to pay and when you would receive a fresh statement.
I can grieve and be sad for the foolish choices I made with my money or the predatory cards I signed up for, but that's not GreenPath's fault. They're there to make an already stressful situation easier. I am debt free except for student loans. What that means is I can solely focus on bringing those numbers down, and I have the skill and tools to do it. I can also look back on who I was as a person and how I handled money when I started, and who I am now and how much has changed. I am grateful for this program, and I would recommend it to anyone. There is hope, and you don't need to be ashamed or scared you'll never get out of debt. You will.

I was in a bind and unable to get my credit card bills paid. It was a mess, and I was falling further and further behind. I was at a loss and my credit union referred me to GreenPath. I instantly was excited as they talked over my budget with me instantly. That is how I knew they were serious. I've been with them now for 3 months and my bills are getting paid, and my interest is considerably lower. It pays for the service itself. Recently I was summoned from one of my creditors to go to court and work out a plan. Greenpath was essential in helping me get a settlement and helping me through a very confusing process. I did a debt management program with GreenPath to consolidate everything and the enrollment was much smoother and easier than I thought it was gonna be. I did a lot of it live online, going back and forth with somebody. And there was a big relief even from that moment, even knowing that I still had a few years to do it. Just having help and having somebody taking organization of it was a good feeling. After it was set up, there were no problems. And if there were, I would just call and put my PIN number in, and everybody was always top class at helping me. A girl gave an amount for the payment plan but when we first started the program, I was a stay-at-home mom. She said the amount would be too much coming out every month and that we wouldn't be able to do that. So she helped us out. She said she would figure something else out for us.
GreenPath's representatives were very professional, caring and human. There was no judgy kind of tone. We’re just a normal family who lives beyond our means and have a lot of kids. I felt that GreenPath was there to help and everybody was more than helpful to serve my family. I finished the program recently and it’s a pretty good feeling. If those cards had stayed open, we wouldn’t have gotten anywhere. We would have been worse off now. So the service was worth its cost to me a million times over.

My spouse and I heard good things regarding this company. However, our good experience turned sour after my spouse was degraded, talked down to like a child and insulted by a man named "Tom" who berated my spouse about calling, raised his voice on the phone and had a serious attitude problem. A little bit of compassion and empathy could have been shown to my spouse who suffers from a disability and doesn't always process things like the average person. It shouldn't matter how many times questions are asked so long as each person understands fully and is comfortable. In this case we weren't. We won't be doing business with a company who degrades their potential clients and their spouses. I hope whoever goes through this company avoids this "Tom" like the plague.

GreenPath consolidated a couple of my credit cards and they've been paying them off, apparently. My balances on my credit cards have gone up from $500 to 726. Their representatives send you on a rabbit chase through their phones. And then they pretend they can't understand you. The lines are terrible, and I've not been able to talk to anyone about this problem. They have never contacted me. I thought I got a great plan, but I'm gonna switch it over because they've not been sticking to it. I hate them and I think they suck.

I was not able to meet the minimum payments on my credit card and medical debts. The university I am going to recommended contacting GreenPath Financial Wellness to try to help with managing debt. I started with about 33,000 in debt and over the course from 2014 till this past month, I was able to pay off all of that amount with GreenPath's help. When I lost my job a few years ago, they were able to adjust the amount they were taking - from 950 a month to 750 - to accommodate that change in employment so that was really helpful. The cost was affordable and I would not have been able to get out from all of the debt without their help. Now I'm debt-free. I recommend Greenpath to everybody who I hear is struggling with debt. They're a much valuable service and more reliable than a lot of the other people who trick you into getting consolidation like debt consolidators.

I was in debt and I had a few credit cards that were a little bit high that I wanted to consolidate. I looked online and found GreenPath. When I gave them a call, they seemed willing to help so, I went with them. The reps were very helpful and the interaction was good. We started out with credit therapy and then, the guy we talked to told us about the consolidation. He helped us set it up and it was simple. He told us how much we would pay a month which was 225. It didn’t seem too bad compared to what I was paying with the credit cards monthly. We paid off the consolidation and we're done with it. So, cost-wise, it was good. It saved us money and they also lowered the interest on our credit cards.

I've been with this company for a little over 4 years, with the initial payoff target of Oct. 2019. Have to say they work with me, and I'm on road to payoff by Feb. 2019. Once you are on the program, and they have everything completed with the companies you have on the program, everything does go really smooth. Several occasions when I had a company paid off, they allocated the funds to pay off someone else. I've done some basic calculations and found out that I would save money and shorten my time if the funds was re-allocated to another company, so I called and asked them to start sending the surplus to another company. They accommodated my request.
Once your surplus exceeds half your payment, and if you get into a bind where you may need additional money, it is easier for you to skip a bi-weekly payment, or even reduce the payment (I tried to not do that, but there was several times I had to). But even though I did this, I'm still on target to have everyone paid off 8 months earlier. :-)

We used GreenPath years ago when my husband first went overseas. We were building a house and GreenPath helped us to get it squared away. It went phenomenally. This time, it was harder to get it squared away with them. My husband came back from being overseas and our pay was reduced by $50,000. GreenPath provided their service where they took whatever debt we asked them to and consolidated it into two affordable monthly payments. They took money every other week out of our checks to help pay for it. It was a little bit confusing in the beginning. It took them a while to get it squared away 'cause one of the credit cards was supposed to be done through GreenPath and there was a mix-up between GreenPath and one of the credit cards. So, for three months, we had to deal with that. But eventually, it got solved.
The reps were nice and helpful. Also, the payment plan was reasonable. When my husband came home, it was a last minute decision. We hadn't squared away our finances before he decided he was done. So, the payment plan was helpful in the sense that it made us able to live on my husband's income in the states. For what we paid for and for that being their expertise, we should not have had months of trying to get that one bill paid 'cause we kept getting late fees added on to that and we were not paying those because GreenPath has the bill and they were supposed to be paying them. For people that are brand new to GreenPath, it can be incredibly overwhelming with those kinds of mistakes. And once that got squared away, it was fine.

I had a lot of credit card debt and the interest was getting overwhelming. GreenPath seemed like a pretty good debt management program. Every time I deal with them, they're pleasant, very helpful, and they really explained things clearly. With their program, it lowered my interest rates quite a bit and it consolidated into some predictable monthly payments. It also gave me the option to pay it off should I have the funds available, which I eventually did, as opposed to other alternatives such as consolidation loans.
I have paid the program off. It was cheaper than just continuing to pay off my credit cards on my own with the higher interests rates that would have been charged to me dealing directly to credit card companies. GreenPath is a good organization. They're not out to make money but to provide a service. I would recommend them to other people in similar circumstances.

I did debt consolidation through GreenPath and it was very helpful. They negotiated with the credit card company about the principal and the interest rate on my debts, and the interest was lowered. They came up with the number of years that I would be paying off and the monthly payments that I needed to pay. The majority of my payment went towards the principal, so that made it easier for me to pay off my debts.
Throughout the program, the GreenPath staff was extremely helpful and courteous, so I'm happy and satisfied with the service. I worked with several people over the years, but I had very minimal contact with them because their customer service through email was very efficient. But I realized that they charged $15 per credit card that I was paying off through them. It was minimal considering the high interest rate that I used to pay, but at the same time I had enough savings that I didn't have to use their service. So, I paid off all my credit card debts and let go of GreenPath. Nevertheless, I appreciate the option that I had through GreenPath and I hope that people will continue to use their service. Anyone suffering from high interest credit card debt should check them out.

As you had mentioned, there are often fees for a Debt Management Program (these vary per state regulations) and the amount of savings in interest and payment often well-exceeds the fee. I had too much credit card debt so I called GreenPath and they seemed to be helpful. They were able to get me a good program, did settlements on the card and negotiated the interest down. They took a lump sum out of my account every month and used it to pay off the credit card. It was hard for me to get that amount every month but I was able to do it. I just paid the program off and working with them has really helped me to be less stressed out. Their staff was nice and the cost of their service was very much worth it. If anyone's having trouble with their budget and paying things off, they should try GreenPath.

As you said, the Debt Management Program is designed to help pay your debt balances completely in full by sending a payment each month that is negotiated with the creditor (who then will often offer concessions to reduce interest rates and/or waive fees). I was going into big surgeries and expecting serious medical bills. I had significant debts that I wanted to manage before I started getting all those bills. GreenPath was recommended by a friend and I'm very happy because their program worked perfectly. It was structured for me and it was great. They did intake and negotiated with the banks. They got a decent APR. I was paying them and they were paying the banks. I called them several times with some questions and they were always good and responsive. They were very informative and knew what they were doing. They were very good in explaining that my credit score might go down, but then it will go up. At this point, I'm done with the program and I've paid off my debts through them. It's a great service that GreenPath provides and I'm lucky I got into their circle.

I had too many credit card debts all at once, and GreenPath Financial Wellness was able to lower the general debt per month. I was done with them after about two years. They were helpful and their customer service was great. They were very easy to deal with and everything was positive. The cost was okay too because it did fulfill the need. It worked pretty good for the time being, and then when my debts got really small, and I only had one card, I paid everything off GreenPath.

I did a big job change which took a big pay cut. So, I had a lot of high credit cards and I was paying them all on time but I was paying the minimum payments and the interest was adding up. I had at least 24,000 just in credit cards and I didn’t want my credit to get completely racked. At that point, I needed to think of a way to get them paid off and I thought that consolidation would be the best thing to do. When I spoke to my banker at Bank of America, he suggested to call GreenPath, so I did.
Everyone that I spoke with or dealt with at GreenPath was awesome. The rep that signed me up was absolutely amazing. I called several times as well because I wanted to put extra money on my account and they made everything so easy. And all my bills got paid. They called the credit card companies and negotiated an interest rate. Then based on what my salary was, I would pay GreenPath so they could pay the credit cards off for me. Also, I recently relocated out-of-state and I was worried that my credit was destroyed. But I didn’t need extra deposits for anything and my credit score’s still standing in good terms.
Aside from that, I was mostly impressed with the communication that GreenPath have with their clients. Any time that they would communicate that they paid off something, they would also tell you that you need to call your creditor and double check. They would send you a text message as well if you signed up for that and they would send you an email. You could log-in to your portal, too, if you wanted and they would give you all the tools that you needed. So everything that they did was consistent across the board.
Other than that, I was never tracked back. I owed 4,000 in one card and I ended up paying it all off. Even when I did that, they told me that I still got three left and that they would call and see what the final rate was. Then someone else called me back and told me my final payment. They were transparent through the whole process and I was not left in the dark. I would recommend GreenPath to anybody. I would tell them that from what I experienced, they were easy to work with and I was never stressed out.

I wanted to get on track financially and pay some bills off. And the enrollment process with GreenPath took about 40 minutes. It was a phone call and I told them what my income was, what my bills were and what I spend on different things. Their reps were good. They answered all my questions and were very efficient. But when you call them, you can never get in contact with anybody. They always have to call back. It would be good if when you call, you’re on hold for a minute or two then you get someone versus waiting for a callback.
Other than that, it was fine. When I called, everyone could help me. I didn’t have to wait for one specific person. Everyone knew the answers. They took their time and found out what the problem was or addressed my concerns. In the end, all my bills were paid off and they actually gave me money so it was great. I would recommend GreenPath for people who are trying to get on track and don’t wanna have to constantly pay several different bills. It’s like GreenPath withdrew it and made sure the bills are paid.

There was a thing that I signed up to and it signed me up for GreenPath. I had to set up a payment plan and take money out of my account. Everything was outstanding. The representative helped me with everything. He explained everything to me good, on how long everything is supposed to take, when the pay off process was gonna be.
I was trying to get my debt cleaned up and sort of budgeting and working with them made a lot of impact on my life. I don’t have to worry about having defaults on my credit or collections on my credit. It was good. They’re good financial-wise, and with helping you in getting your credits straight, and help you get better finances.

We were getting overhead with credit card bills and we didn’t know what else to do. My mom went through GreenPath and she as well as other people said they really trusted them in helping them with their affairs, so I thought we’d give it a try. They helped us a lot. We were really happy with GreenPath. They were friendly and if we had any problems, I would call them and they would answer my questions and make me feel better.
GreenPath put all our credit cards together and came up with a price. Enrolling with them was easy. We filled out the application and we went through our credit union because they dealt with them. I had a few bad debts and I didn't want to file for bankruptcy. At the time, I heard from GreenPath because they went to my job and we had information from them. Also, I had a friend who was with them already, and I decided to call and join as well. They were very friendly and they looked helpful. They also gave me the impression that they would help me and I would finish paying all my debts successfully, and it happened. I was with them for years and I have completed the program. They did an excellent job for me and I was impressed with the way that they managed my accounts. I was so happy that even my daughter joined them. In fact, she is still with them and she is also so happy with GreenPath.
They used to pay the bills every month for me and when I receive the statement from the company, I saw the payment that they made. Then, they sent me complete information of the payments that they made to my accounts. I also felt comfortable to call them back if I needed any information and sometimes when I called, I knew that they were busy and it took a little while for them to call me back. But I didn't think that that would be a problem. I was very satisfied with GreenPath.

I was trying to get my credit cards paid off and Chase Bank suggested GreenPath when I asked them about it. The enrollment was all online. I filled out the information and then we talked about as far as how much I could afford a month. Then when I was able to, I'd pay more than that a month. Going forward, I pretty much have a good handle on it. The whole process was extremely easy and I did the automatic payment so it was streamlined. Last month, I did my last payment. I got all the credit cards paid off which was awesome and it was within my budget because, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to get them paid off. It would have just kept on compounding.
I was impressed that GreenPath was willing to help me because I've tried some of the other companies and they won't do anything for you because they're losing money. I didn't want to declare bankruptcy because I want to pay off my bill. I didn't want to say I wasn't going to pay it off and there was no way to do that without Greenpath's help. They did an excellent job and they helped me get my budget back on course.

I had too many credit cards and I needed to consolidate and pay them off. Someone referred me to GreenPath and they had a good enrollment process. I went to the office and met with their representative. The interactions I had with their reps were very beneficial. When I was getting ready to pay out, there was a mix-up on what creditors they had paid off. GreenPath thought they paid off some of them, and there was still a remaining balance that I wasn’t aware of. There was one account that was $1,000, and I was told that it was paid off. But the creditor kept calling me and I ended up having to deal with the creditor and pay them that $1,000. I felt a little frustrated, but other than that, GreenPath's service was great. I'm grateful for their assistance. They helped me become debt-free and stay disciplined as well.

I went through GreenPath's enrollment process thinking that I would get the interest rate lowered and then I didn't have to worry about making the payments. I was with a credit union, so there was no cost of the program to me, and that worked out great. The reps really made seamless contact although every once in a while, I would have to call them about something. As far as spreadsheets and due dates, it was up to the creditors what they agreed to and negotiating a price with me really wasn’t an option. Nevertheless, GreenPath did a good job with the payment and with getting my interest rates lowered, and I was really happy with their service. Everything paid off and hopefully, it stays that way.

My enrolment process with GreenPath went smoothly. I had a single representative when I first called them and everything went fairly well. After I went through the process and saw the figure they came up with, I knew I had gotten myself in that predicament so I just had to make it happen. I bank with PNC Bank and they highly recommended GreenPath. But there was a little bit of a hang-up in the beginning. There were certain restrictions on who GreenPath could communicate with. They couldn't get over the hurdle and communicate with the bank about the minutia of the negotiation of what could be paid, when it could be paid and how it was gonna be paid. That was the only frustration that I had. At least, it was this way several years ago. There was a lot that fell on the client to communicate to the people at the bank and the people at the company. Then of course, people at the bank and people at GreenPath would ask a question but because I’m not a banker and I don’t work for GreenPath, I didn't always have the answer to those.
It was very difficult to get on the same page with everybody. I didn’t understand why there wasn’t a better working relationship, because it was a referral, as far as communications between the bank and GreenPath. The back and forth became aggravating because there was only so much information, even with me being a person who does his research and his due diligence. It would have been easier if GreenPath could pick up the phone, talk to the person who was handling my debt and work some of those things out. Then they could communicate with me as the third-party and say what result they had come to then ask if I was happy with that. That would have been a much more seamless transition in process.
All the while, I was also having to make payments and those were larger payments than I could really afford at that time. But I saw the value in the company and thankfully, after a couple of weeks of back and forth, and phone tags, we finally got the right people from my bank to communicate with GreenPath. Everything was able to be finalized in quotes, prices and interests rates. Then it was a smooth process ever since. Once the ball got rolling, they were great. GreenPath is a great company and they do a great job of what they do.
In the beginning, there was also one person who ran things pretty well. But then I lost contact with him or he didn’t get back until it was done. Then we got put through to somebody else and they had a different way of doing things. Still, GreenPath was really flexible as far as getting a manageable payment. The bi-weekly pay schedule was hard for us but that was understandable as well. If the bank was only gonna accept X amount of dollars and GreenPath was trying to get it lower than that then you have to get that negotiation process where the bank is okay with paying X amount of dollars every month. So GreenPath did a good job in trying to meet the needs of the customer while at the same time, being able to do what they’re allowed to do by way of having to deal with the bank.
The cost was also fair and the quality was definitely worth the money. The service definitely helped me. Even in getting all of my debt paid off and getting married, I spoke with a consultant who helped me get everything finalized. They also offered services for future banking, getting our budget and paying what was lined up for me and my future wife. So the outcome, or the juice, is worth the squeeze. I’m going into a marriage consumer debt-free. The only things I have are student loan debts because I went to law school. That’s all I am carrying with me and GreenPath helped me do that.

Yes, with PNC bank, they do require a hand-signed release in order to process a proposal. This can make the initial process with PNC a little laborious, we understand. This is simply the policy that PNC has.
Additionally, it is often the case that the first few weeks of the program are the toughest. However, I am glad that we were able to get all the creases ironed out in the end. I am very sorry for the difficulties in the interim.
I am happy that it was an overall positive experience. Going into marriage with no consumer debt is a huge accomplishment and you are due a huge congratulations on that!

I was making all my payments on time on everything but I was using all my income for that and didn’t have anything left. I was talking to a credit union person when I was making a payment and she suggested I get GreenPath's services. She told me a lot of her members use them. So I called them and the enrollment was very easy. Somebody gave me a call in the evening and we went through everything. She asked me everything that I owed and let me know that all the credit cards that I had would be stopped, which I understood.
GreenPath provided me with consolidation services. They called all my creditors, stopped the interest from piling up, then took payments out of my paycheck every two weeks and paid my bills. I didn’t have to worry about anything. And the program made me debt-free. My rep was wonderful and she gave me recommendations on who to contact to do my taxes as well as other references that would help me. Also, everybody was really friendly. Any time I called customer service, everyone was knowledgeable and gave me the right answers.
Working with GreenPath was life changing. They were very easy to work with and with them, you will no longer be stressed. They do everything for you and you just have to provide them what checks you have as far as debts go and they take it on from there. Working with them also made me realize that I cannot be opening credit cards everywhere.

I wanted to consolidate some credit cards that I have and a friend recommended me to GreenPath. It was four years ago when I enrolled. I had an interview and we went over the amount that I was paying for so they can come up with a plan. The enrollment process was simple and the customer service skill of the rep that I worked with was really good. GreenPath helps me pay my credit cards and every time I call, they help me right away and they answer the questions I have. The program has worked really good. If you have some debts, GreenPath is a really good way to consolidate them and get the help that you need. They went over my expenses to see how much I would be able to pay a month. I had an auto payment directly deposited and the cost was great. Everybody was very knowledgeable in what they were doing. It was always excellent service with them.

I was referred to GreenPath by my credit union and initially things seemed wonderful. I paid the 50 fee to begin but then was contacted by email explaining that another 50 fee would need to be paid or some of my creditors would not be paid. Ok, so I paid the additional 50.00 bucks thinking things would be good from that point. A 2 months later I am receiving notices from my creditors explaining that payment has not been made. I contact GreenPath who explain that, "Oh you have to continue making your payments in addition to paying through GreenPath to avoid fees." This of course was NOT explained to me in the beginning and now I have so many fees. Things are worse than when I began.
This company is 100% responsible for this error and I am so upset the rep is not required to explain things more thoroughly when people come to this company because they truly need help. I called today and requested to cancel the service because I truly believe I am better off. As many positive reviews I have seen for this company I can honestly say I am very disappointed.

Although we do not like to hear poor experiences, we do take them very seriously in order to coach our staff appropriately so we can be sure things like this do not happen. You should not be feeling this way, especially when you came to us for relief. I am so sorry this was your experience.
You are absolutely correct, you should have understood these expectations from the beginning. I reviewed your account and it appears the fees were not calculated into your initial deposit - this is completely our error. Additionally, it is required for our staff to explain that until a creditor accepts a proposal, paying the difference in payment is important if you are up to date and do not want to fall behind. It is not that a double payment is needed, it is that if a creditor was requiring $30 per month, and we are offering $20 per month, until the proposal is accepted, you may want to pay the extra $10 per month until they offer the concession of a reduced payment. If someone is already behind on their debts, this sometimes does not matter as much. Some creditors will actually reage the account (where it is brought up to date and fees are not charged) but this really depends on the creditor.

Four years ago, I did some research and saw some good reviews for GreenPath. The enrollment process was easy and helpful. The first rep who set my account up was really helpful and walked me through the process. I thought she was great. Thereafter, whenever I talked to people throughout the years, they were all very helpful. They gave me guidance and helped me put together a reasonable payment amount. They asked me a lot of questions about where I could make cuts so that we can have more money go towards the payment. Also, they talked to me about different things in my budget that they felt were unnecessary or considered luxuries. Their team also helped lower the interest rates and that was the big thing. It didn't necessarily reduce how much I was paying each month, but that much more of my money was going to the balance rather than just paying interest.
GreenPath has a good system so anybody can go in the computer and pull up your file and you don't have to talk to a specific person. However, for the first three years that I was with them, it was a little frustrating that you had to call in and talk to somebody. Still, in the last six months, they've switched over to a new portal and I was really impressed with it. They've made it better by making my account more accessible online and you can now go in and see how much money you still owe.

My auntie passed away and none of my family wanted to take her kids, so I took her kids on top of my own kid. That was a real struggle in my life. I tried with a hardship program and it would seem that I never qualified. I looked into debt consolidation knowing that two of my bills ran into collection. GreenPath took a couple of my cards and calculated everything. I was with them for almost two years and I just paid the last one last month. All of the reps that I talked to in these last two years were amazing. They always tried to work with me. They understood my situation, and they went right in and helped. I went to my bank and I was trying to do a debt consolidation, and they referred me to Greenpath. I called and Greenpath got my information about my debts and set up a payment arrangement. I worked with a lot of reps, but the main one that I worked with helped me get things set up. When I was short of money, they helped me push back sometimes with the payment and that helped me out a lot. Now I’m debt free and and working with them has brought my credit score up. Everything worked out well and the experience was great.

I had a lot of debt and I needed to fix my credit fast because I was trying to buy a home, and that was keeping me back. I asked GreenPath if they could help me pay off the debt that I have with all these different collectors, and they put them all together and I paid a monthly payment, and it was distributed to every one of them. GreenPath's reps were awesome. Every time I called, they were polite. They answered any questions I had, they would check up on me, and they would send me anything that I requested. There was only one time that some guy had a sour attitude, but overall, everybody was very helpful.
I liked the process but then the end was a bummer because I thought I was done. I called and checked up on it to see if I was done, and I was told multiple times that I was. It was fantastic and I was happy. But I checked my credit from Credit Karma and it still showed that I had two collectors still on my credit. So, I waited, and then they were still there. They stopped distributing my payments to one of them. And then, they said they overlooked one, so I still had payments on it. So, I wasn’t done. And no one got back to me or notified me. Whoever is handling the case, I wish they would treat it like their own and make sure they had double looked if necessary to avoid situations like I had. Other than that, I recommended GreenPath to many people.

GreenPath's program was very good according to my budget, so I could afford to make the payment. They got me a very good rate that I couldn’t get otherwise to be able to consolidate the debt. The rep was very helpful because I put two cards on the plan and then I continued with one. One time when they tried to get the money from the bank, it was not available, but the card allowed me to continue paying at the same rate that I was with GreenPath. So I finished two cards which was really good. The program is done and I feel good. I can use that money to pay something else. I'm glad that I finished the program and I don’t owe any money. I will recommend them and if I need to put another card on the system, I will call them.

I was in debt with a lot of credit cards and a house payment ten years ago. I also had my kids going to college. I got referred by a friend of mine to GreenPath. The enrollment process was smooth. I worked with this lady who was nice. Then, the GreenPath reps talked to the credit people. They helped out a lot and took us out of debt. I paid my house off and paid most of my cards. One of my kids already finished college. If I see anybody having problems, I would recommend GreenPath.

If you are deep in debt, GreenPath can really help and having them takes all of the stress away from the situation. With a reduction in wages, I sought out their services. They came as a referral from Logix Credit Union and their enrollment process was very easy. The representatives I worked with were reachable and easy to communicate with as well. I was very comfortable working with them. I had to provide statements from my creditors in the first couple of months but I had so many debt creditors and I didn’t realize I had to send that many statements every month for a couple of months. Then they withdrew money from my account in a biweekly basis. The cost of their service was very high but working with them was very beneficial for me and my family. It got rid of my debt in a much faster time than I could’ve done myself.

GreenPath saved my life. I had a crazy credit card debt and I couldn't keep up with the bills. I was getting late fees and I was shoveling it against the tide. I was getting absolutely nowhere. I had been seeing all kinds of debt consolidation things on television but Chase Bank told me that they weren't very reputable. Sometimes, they would take the money and not pay off the bills, and then I'd be in more trouble than where I was. I knew that Chase Bank, wanting to get their money, was going to lead me in the right direction. They gave me several names, but GreenPath was the first one that I called.
I spoke with Angel and that's exactly what she was. She sat there and we figured out my budget and how much I was going to be able to pay without it really hurting financially. Then I was looking at what I was trying to pay to get these credit card bills paid off. She told me how they would try to get the credit card companies with lower interest rates, which they did. The enrollment process was very easy. For the first six months, I had to send in different papers. I did the things that they told me that I had to do. They told me not to open up any new credit cards because credit cards can get me into trouble. I'm one of those people that like immediate gratification and sometimes, it just doesn't work that way. I've learned to live within a budget now and it seems like everything has just gone the right way with me.
GreenPath put me on a payment plan that I was able to keep up with. It was quite a bit of money being taken out and I was having $180 a week taken out of me. But they had put me on a five-year plan, which I was able to keep up with. I had a total of 5,000 left, and I went and got myself a personal loan to finish paying off these loans once and for all. It hasn't even been four years that I've been on the program, and now I'm paid off. It was a big chunk of change to have to be putting debt out of you, but I found a solution to a problem that I just couldn't find on my own.
Even when I was gonna try paying off the rest of my bill, I talked with one of the counselors over at GreenPath. I was saying that I was gonna try taking some of my money out from my retirement fund and pay them off. The girl strongly suggested not to. To me, GreenPath has always given me very good guidance. A couple of times before when I was going on a vacation, I asked them if I could skip a payment so that I could have a little extra cash for my vacations. They were always very good about stuff like that and I've never had a problem with it.
Now my credit score has come up quite a bit. A year ago this past March, my car needed to be replaced, and I was able to get it without a cosigner. I'm learning to budget my money a lot better, and it's a little bit harder for me because since I began this program, my pay went from being paid weekly to biweekly. GreenPath is a lifesaving business. I highly recommend this company for anybody who's ever in a situation like I was.

GreenPath is awesome and I really appreciated it. I had a debt level that I thought was too much and I wanted help managing it. GreenPath was recommended by a friend and I heard good things about them. I went and talk to them in person and they seemed really helpful. Their reps were very helpful in the beginning in letting me know what information they needed and in explaining the details of things and setting it all up.
Once it was all set up, it worked very smoothly the whole time and it was just one payment to them. I was most impressed that they really sat down with me one-to-one and went through everything. They kept sending me notices of what was going on via email at times. They told me that they couldn't reduce the interest rate with a couple of credit cards 'cause the interest rate was good and that I might as well hold on to those and work on those myself. But they took a lot of the other debts and were able to reduce the interest rates, which makes a huge difference. They spoke with different creditors and they were able to identify from them if they would be willing to reduce the interest rates and that kind of allowed them to calculate what my debt was gonna be going forward.
They looked at what I was typically paying on all of my cards and they basically said, "Let's just say we're all that you were paying but now, you're gonna pay it to us pretty narrowed together." So, it didn't really feel like an increase in what I was paying. But that amount allowed them to reduce the debt faster. They targeted one creditor whenever I pay one thing off, and then they target another one to increase the focus on that one. So it was really helpful. I don't feel like I could do that myself and it's good to have someone in my corner.
The stuff that I was responsible for, the interest rates were 8%, which was low, so it wasn't eating me up. I stayed away from those cards and I did not use them. I cut them up and that was very helpful. GreenPath helped interject the discipline and focus on doing that. Working with GreenPath has reduced my stress. I just had to make one payment and everything was taken care of. I paid them down in different ways and I can see that what they took over and got paid off. I referred my daughter to them.

GreenPath was very easy to work with. They were recommended by USAA and I used them for debt consolidation. Their program worked very well and during the initial set up, we went through virtually all my finances and everything to set up what would be an affordable payment plan for me. When I called them a few times to check upon the program and see how far along I was, I never had a problem dealing with their reps. Their employees were very polite and very courteous. They were also always very receptive and easy to talk to. Sometimes they had to take a couple of minutes to look something up or call another company like one of the banks, but they’ve done a great job.
The cost of their service was pretty good as well. It’d be hard to have the cost at less than what they charged and provide the telephone support with reps able to answer the phones. All in all, working with GreenPath made things easier to simply make one payment that came out of my checking account right as I received my pay. So, it made getting out of debt a lot easier and I would recommend them.

I started my own business and did that for three years. I made some money but lost the money too and had a certain amount of money on credit card debts. They were out on fairly high rates and I felt that if I could consolidate them, I would be able to more effectively get them paid down and done away with. GreenPath seemed like a good one when I looked at a few different companies online.
There were only two times where I got in contact with the person from GreenPath that I was working with at the beginning. Then there was at least a three-year period of time where I didn't interact with them at all. It was just automatically coming out and things were down and everything was working as it should be. I was getting monthly updates and I could see what was happening. Then in the last few months, I wasn't getting those updates anymore. There was a change to the system and I just assumed everything was going quite to the end. And I finally called up and asked what was going on. I got a new password and I was able to get on and check it. But everything was going as normal anyway.
I’ve completed the process now. It was a long process that took five years, but it was pretty good the way it was. Things moved on as expected so there was no reason to have more interaction than the times that I got. Though if I had been more actively involved in the process, there would be more active feedback. Also, I had a bit of a say on what the payment plan would be. And then near the end, it was increased to speed up the process a bit and. Though I was concerned that might change things a little, it seemed to work really well.

I was going through a divorce and needed to get a grip on a lot of my bills. Enrolling with GreenPath, I just had to get all my information together and consult with the agent. They were great and made sure they were available to me every time I had a question. The payment schedule early on depended on if payments were coming out three times a month. They even helped me a couple of times by not getting more money taken out a particular week and push it back. But over the last couple of years, I didn't ask for that. Now, I’m finished with the program and I feel pretty good. I might file them again and would recommend GreenPath.

I was being charged for expenses that I hadn't spent, and rather than fighting each one, I went to GreenPath and they helped me to pay them off. There were five or six credit cards. The process was rather simple. If it had been at all complicated I think I'd have backed off, but it was not and it was very positive. I have already finished the program and have gotten one invoice or bill after they had told me I was finished and they cleared it up. It was almost like we were on a phone call and they cleared it for me. They were nothing but terrific and all I can do is give them A+.

I found a GreenPath brochure at the bank, asked the lady there and she said that they were credible. I went with them for a way of managing to make all my payments. The rep that worked with me was very nice and helpful. GreenPath collected all the data from all the creditors and then gave me a contract that was easy to understand. It's very straightforward how the service works and it was pretty easy. They also have a website that makes it easy to stay in track of everything that's going on all the time. I'm done with the program and it's excellent. I tell people all the time to sign up for GreenPath 'cause it's not hard to do. It's hard to get through it when you're doing it, but once you're done, it's worth it.

I was getting in the hole and I couldn't get out. GreenPath was recommended to me and the enrollment was pretty quick. I just talked to someone over the phone and told them how much I needed and what my debts were. I also talked to different people each time I called in to make a deposit and their reps were very nice and understanding. It didn't feel like I was being judged. However, I had difficulties with the payment plan. I had to rob Peter to pay Paul. It was really high initially and then as I paid off, I got them to lower it down a little bit. But, I've paid off a lot of debts. It took a while but I got there and I feel a lot better. It removed a lot of stress from me.

I needed debt consolidation services. I searched online and I have a family member that referred GreenPath to me, so I went with them. We went over the credit cards that I was looking to consolidate, my income, and what my monthly payments would be. Then they worked out the rest. They figured out what would be a comfortable payment plan to work on that would not seriously impact my quality of life or my financial goals. They took all those things into consideration and worked out the plan that they did for me. So the process was very easy and they helped me get out of debt. Working with them took all of the pressure or the stress out of it for trying to achieve that goal. The rep I worked with was also very informative, very helpful, and made the whole process very seamless. I have recommended them to somebody else.

My interactions with the GreenPath reps have been pretty seamless. The money comes out of the account and they took care of everything. I had a lot of credit card debt and GreenPath was recommended to me by Bank of America. I called them and they had some forms to gather information to help me come up with a plan to pay off the debt. They were pretty flexible in terms of putting together something that was semi-affordable and helped me through the process of figuring out how much I could afford based upon my expenses and income. The payment plan they set up for me was good and they helped me to deal with certain situations if I had to delay a payment for a few days or skip a payment. I would also call their customer service number when I have the time and generally their reps were very helpful. All in all, working with them was good way to get out of a bad situation.

My debt was getting out of hand. I went online, read the reviews, did some research, and ran across GreenPath. Enrolling with them was simple. I contacted them, sent them all my information from all my creditors, and they pretty much did everything else. As long as they had all my documentation in order, it was easy for them. I did an auto-pay once a month which was also easy to set up and they helped me get the interest and everything else taken care of with all the creditors. I tried to get in touch with GreenPath to see if they could do anything to get my monthly payments reduced any they couldn’t. But that was because I created the debt. Luckily, I had a decent job where I was able to pay that debt each month without too much of a burden.
So far, I have one creditor with whom I may have a $2 balance with that I’m paying off. My experience with GreenPath has been great overall and everyone I spoke to was helpful. I generally call on different occasions and whichever operator I was talking to was knowledgeable, answered my questions, and made me feel confident in them.
