I am very pleased to have worked with GreenPath these past number of years, and it feels great to have completed the program, and paid off the debt. The staff members were helpful every step of the way. Correspondence was made very easy by chat, phone and email and sharing documents.

I reached out to GreenPath because I was having so much debt and needing to find a manageable way to deal with it. The enrollment process felt reassuring. I talked with an individual. I had one person that was like a counselor to me. I was able to schedule a meeting and talk with them, ask a lot of questions, and I felt like there was a follow-up after that. GreenPath has a portal, so you can look and see what your progress is like. If I had any questions, I could see what was happening.
I just finished paying off, and the program impacted my life tremendously. At first, it was really scary looking at all of the debt. It was also a little bit challenging sometimes to make the payment twice a month, but after I got into the rhythm of it, it worked out really well. As I saw that I was making progress, I became happier and happier. GreenPath was a very easy way for me, really approachable, and wasn't threatening. I would definitely encourage people to use it.

GreenPath has very good customer service. They actually have people answer the phone. Any time I had a question, I called and they were very helpful with all the information I needed. I’d give them a good rating in terms of the price as well. Overall, it was a lot faster to get it done than I would have been paying over the years. They saved me a lot of money on the interest rates.

My mother and grandmother have used GreenPath for several years. I got in touch with them for my credit cards. The representative was very good and they’re always very accommodating to change a payment or move things around, to explain things, keep me updated of how many accounts I had left, and balance.
I would highly recommend GreenPath. They are very helpful and knowledgeable and very willing to help make any changes that you need and explain stuff. So I would recommend them.

GreenPath made me hopeful that there are still places that are honest and helpful. Thank you so much for being there with me to ensure I accomplish my debt free journey. The only thing I have to say is when I called there was a long wait; however, I understand you are popular. How could you not be?!

I put over $40k in GreenPath Debt Management Program. I was able to pay back my debts that I owed at a lower interest and payment while ensuring that I was making payments on time. Out of the 4-5 years on the plan, only 2 accounts were deemed late due to the program.

I liked the small payments with GreenPath. Their customer service was good. I liked the communication when a debt was cleared off of my credit report. I would get an email and then a phone call. Working with GreenPath impacted my life in a good way. My credit score has gone up. It put me in a better place to start looking for a home.

My experience with GreenPath was excellent. It was a thing that came up during COVID because everybody was spending out and nobody was working. So, I just picked it up because I’m not working and I got credit card bills.
I called up when I was at work. When I called them, I didn't know if they said they could consolidate or they could make me pay each credit card off, but they were willing to work with us so that I’m not gonna get those charges that the creditors would have still been charging me. I thought it was great. And they helped me out. It took three years, but they were only taking $64 out a month. I was able to pay almost 5 grand. It impacted my life in a positive and helpful way, and it brought my credit score up.
My communication with them was excellent. They were upfront with me. They told me everything, like what it was gonna be. What made me really like them was that I had a medical condition, and any time I would tell them that I won’t be able to pay it, they would offer to lower my payment balance. I don’t know if it changed after COVID, but during that moment, whatever plan I had, it was successful, it was wonderful, and it wasn’t stressful.

The end result, which matters most, went exactly as I was told it would and we got the desired results. What didn't go as planned was this idea that they'd be three to coach and help me through the program. Communication was great as I evaluated the program and spoke to various people. As soon as I committed and became a customer, communication from other humans at Greenpath stopped. Multiple times I replied to emails and surveys to ask why I can't hardly get a human on the phone, zero reply.
Be aware that once you become a customer, by either paying them or the financial institution paying them on your behalf, you won't get any human coaching or human interactions. If you don't care about that and just want to pay your bills off, which is fine too, then you'll be happy with these folks. Also, be aware that they don't negotiate any good interest rates or terms for you either. They take what the creditor gives them based on what you can afford per month. If you want reduces interest rates, then you'll need to negotiate on your own with your creditors. I did this successfully for most. The one who refused to negotiate with me, I put on the Greenpath program. Greenpath is legit and it's good people. This is not a scam. Completely on the up and up.

GreenPath was helpful when I was in financial trouble. I wasn't able to pay my debt because during COVID, my husband unfortunately lost his job. After it got paid off, we were all good to go. I used them for debt consolidation. The lovely lady who helped me with it, Rose, was very helpful. The process was fairly easy. They paid my debt off, as long as I paid the bill. It lasted for five years, and I've already finished the program.
The communication could have been a little bit better. I only found out that my debt was completely paid off when a gentleman called and told me that I’m done with it. And I was like, “What? I got no emails about this, like when was I supposed to be done?” But he said that I’m actually done and will be getting a check back because they overcharged me. And I ended up getting $299 back.

It's been 5 years since I started but I DO recall that it was easy to set up. The entire process (from initiating to paying off) was easy & painless. Contact was never an issue (mostly by phone) & agents were friendly, sympathetic & helpful! Last auto-pay was overage but it was refunded quickly. Had one follow-up call to confirm everything that was also quick & easy. Hopefully I'll not need to re-enroll but if the need arises I will do it with hesitation!

GreenPath got my spending under control, and their customer service is always excellent. I changed my pay date once. And they worked it out for me very easily and smoothly. Everyone was always polite and pleasurable to me. They used my name frequently in a friendly way.
The only thing that I wanna mention is when I call them, I wait and wait. When I first started, I had to dedicate two or three hours to wait to talk to them. They're hard to reach. And then they ask for a callback number, and get to call me back.

Everything was perfect, and I was happy and grateful I found GreenPath. I was getting a personal loan, and at that time GreenPath told me to send a payment before they would give it to me. They would give it to me and so I started. Everything I wanted, they did, and I did not have any problem since I started. Even if I have something, when I call, they explain it to me and make me understand it. That is important for me.
The price beginning was too high for me but the ending was low. I thank them so much for working with me because sometimes my payment was not the same date. Sometimes my payment is late. I did a surgery, I called them, and they held it until I came back for my surgery. I was worried when I did my surgery, and I was worrying about that because I couldn’t afford it. Them holding my payment, I love them for that. My payments were not successful every time, and either I would delay or I would pay the next day. I will recommend everybody to do that because not every service will allow that.

GreenPath helped negotiate lower rates on credit cards. I lost my job in 2022, and ran up credit cards trying to maintain bills. I called GreenPath and I was on my last leg and I was like, "I'm too young to be drowning like this," and got a very sweet Southern lady on the phone. She got me all set up that same day. I also appreciated that she understood the vulnerability of the place that I was in, like "I can't get myself out of this hole that I dug myself into."
Enrolling was really easy. Being told what the cost would look like, the timeframe, how I could change my debt process, how I could make extra payments, all of that was made very clear during the application process.
At GreenPath, whenever I called somebody, there was always a resolution. I remember at one point I had called 'cause my payments were getting taken out in such a-- like they were getting taken out of my account, but they were sitting on GreenPath's side for a weird time, and I was like, "Well, I feel like we're paying more on the interest part because the payments were split up." So, I called and I said, "Could we double that payment on the same day? I just think it'll take out chunks better." And they said, "That actually would work. With the way that your payments fall, we can do that."
That was really nice. I wasn't told, "Nope, this is how we have it done." They're like, "Well, let's see if it would make sense because we actually can't have you go delinquent or miss a payment. We don't wanna do that 'cause that's not gonna help us." So, I just like the transparency that they had in working with me.
I think the price was fair because it still was less than what I would have paid in interest trying to knock those out myself without a negotiation. So, I feel like it was fair. It got me where I needed to be. I paid off 10 grand of credit card debt because we had the payment plan set up with them. And then tax time, every time I got a refund, it just went straight to those cards.

This is what I messaged the company: What is the point in making an appointment if your people are not going to follow through? It infuriates me that I set aside time that I could have been working for my 1 pm appointment. I was called at 12:44 pm and asked if I was available and I said sure. The person said that if I was on hold for more than 2 minutes, to hang up and I will get a call back. I waited 5 minutes and put in my phone number for a call back. I called back at 1:03 pm asking about my appointment. The person I spoke with said that I never had an appointment. I said that I sure do, that I'm looking at the email as I spoke with them. She continued to say that I never had an appointment. I told her I was called at 12:44 pm and that someone was ready and yet no one was there when I was transferred for over 4 minutes. She said that I would be put on a callback list which could take about an hour if they were busy.
I asked what's the point of having an appointment if they can't keep it. Here is it 7:30 pm, and I NEVER received a call back. I made sure I stayed home for a couple hours, wasting my time for a inconsiderate business who makes appointments and sends about 12 reminders about this said appointment but yet can't even keep it. It makes your business look TERRIBLE.
We apologize for the negative experience you had with our appointment process. We appreciate you giving us this feedback, because we are consistently looking for ways to make improvements. We understand it would be frustrating and we sincerely apologize. One of our team members responded to your email promptly. He offered to connect you with a counselor and bypass the queues or appointments and it appears you declined the opportunity. We understand, but if you change your mind, please respond back to that email for more. We would love to help you meet your financial goals.

GreenPath was recommended by the credit card company. I like their terms, too. Enrollment was straightforward and relatively quick. I paid according to the obligation, finished the program early, and there were no penalties to pay. There also wasn't an abundance of correspondence. I didn't get bombarded with a lot of phone calls.

GreenPath has a good reputation. I've already mentioned them to friends. It's easy to get things set up with them and any time I called, everybody was wonderful. Their enrollment process went really smoothly. Even though it was four years ago, they helped me for four years now. Their customer service is always good. Their payment plan freed up some money so I could get back on my feet. I had COVID for a long time, so got behind.

I called to pay it off because my company gave me a bonus. Instead of spending the bonus, I decided to apply it to finish my term early. That’s when I found out GreenPath had miscalculated. Even if I had paid it off, I still would have owed one of my creditors over $3,000. They said it was an oversight on their part, but in the end, it was a more than $3,000 error that I had to pay myself.
When I thought I had paid off a little over $3,000 and was done, my creditor hit me with another $3,000 bill that I still owed. GreenPath left me responsible for it, so I ended up paying over $6,000 instead of the $3,000 I thought would finish it off. Everything was good up until that point. They were very helpful and informative. But at the end, it was like, “Oh, crap.”
We are glad that our representatives were helpful and our service went relatively smoothly. We absolutely understand it would be frustrating to find out that the balance was higher than expected near the end of the program. There are a number of reasons that this can happen from time to time. After reviewing your account, it appears that there was a promotional rate that expired and GreenPath was not made aware of this change. We use projections to estimate payoff balances based on information provided by the client and the creditor. Unfortunately, we do not have direct communication with most creditors and must rely on the initial calculations and information provided by clients. While on the Debt Management Program, it is the client’s responsibility to monitor creditor account statements and update Greenpath with accurate account information and notify us of any potential discrepancies. We happily extend the opportunity to provide a free budget and credit report review to assist in the continued pursuit of financial wellness.

I was looking online for different options, and GreenPath seems to be one of the most reputable if not the most reputable. I called them and I had a great experience with them. They are very helpful in getting everything set up and setting up payments. From beginning to end, they were very helpful and informative, and it was great working with them. Most of the time, I could log in online and see where my payments had gone through. If I had specific questions, I could call into customer service and then ask them. Everything I did, I had a great experience with their customer service.
In enrolling, I filled out some initial paperwork because they had to contact the credit card companies on my behalf. It was very streamlined, and I didn’t have to worry about the hassle of negotiation as they did all that for me. I just had to sign the paperwork saying I accepted everything, and the rates looked good to me. Overall, they are an incredible organization that helps out people in my situation. I’d recommend it to anyone who needed help.

I was in another program and they went over my credit report with me and they told me about GreenPath. So, I contacted GreenPath and they looked at how much I owe, and how much my income level was, and determined from there how much to apply each one. They contacted each one of the credit card companies. I have been working with them since 2020. I did good except for in 2022, when I activated a credit card.
I did well with GreenPath because my credit score went up. When I started, it was at 400 and it's at a good place now. The only downside is I have one card that I maxed out and I've been holding on to just that one. Before I activated the card, I told them that I had gotten a card, and they told me they wouldn't suggest that. Things happened and I found out I needed to use the card. But other than that, GreenPath has been a tremendous blessing.
And I have told everybody that I know that if they’re going through some trouble working out with the credit card companies and need someone to do it on their behalf, GreenPath can help like they did for me. GreenPath came in and helped me to take control of the problem and get the results that I was trying to get on my own. They specialize in communicating what the consumer is trying to accomplish.

I heard about GreenPath through my bank when I closed out the account with the credit card, and my experience was good. I was in their program for three years and communicating with them was easy. It would have been better if they offer 0% interest rate.
Thank you for taking the time to review GreenPath! We are so glad you had an overall positive experience with straightforward and seamless communication. We understand why you would want no interest rates. GreenPath's Debt Management Program often results in lower interest rates, which helps you pay down the debt faster. Adjusted interest rates vary; they are based on requirements and guidelines from each individual creditor.

I had some car payments that were like 18% or 19%, something with really high APR, and I was having a hard time. And then GreenPath was able to negotiate. So, I did not do any big consolidation for everything. I just did it for one item. And then they reduced it to 12%. And then they gave me a good timing to pay for it. And I think it was 60 months. So, I started in 2021, and I finished in 2025. I was supposed to finish it in October 2025, but I had extra cash, so I just paid it off completely. So, I finished a little bit earlier.
The only thing I did not want from them was I had to pay a $50 fee every time. So, everything they reduced, I felt like I was paying it back again because I was paying a $50 fee every month all the way. So, I called them to reduce that amount, and they reduced it to $35. But I have to pay a fee the entire time that I was paying, which is their fee to operate. But they were flexible with me, so I was able to get that paid off.
And their representative was pretty good. I really like the way that they understood the situation. And then they tried to help me find a solution for it. And then they asked the question that I needed, and then they responded, and I signed it.
So, I just wanted to reduce my payments, and then I wanted to make sure that it's automatic. I wanted to make sure that it's already paid for, and that happened. But I got a few calls from my lenders asking me, because sometimes the payment did not come at the right time from GreenPath. I did not like that part. But other than that, everything was all right.
