I received a very alarming call to my office from the NCA. From the tone of her voice I was scared to call back but I did. I spoke with Denise and she was so sweet and understanding. After reviewing my info she told me who the orig creditor was and I do remember that bill. We set up a payment plan that fits into my budget and I was off the phone within 10 minutes. No bad review to give.

Where should I even start... I received a loan a few years back and defaulted so of course that was my problem and it needed to be taken care of. I was called by a rep name Rachel and she wanted $1500.00 to settle out my account and wanted it in two days... NOW that is a lot of money however luckily I was able to gather the funds together and paid them in the time they wanted it. I simply asked them for a letter/email sent to me showing it was paid off so I have a paper trail due to you can't take anyone word anymore these days which is a shame... and they said "I sent it. I sent." NOPE. 7 months later still nothing.
I called them from work over 33 times. Was hung up on or sent to a voicemail. Then spoke with a supervisor who said "Hold on" and sent me to another voicemail of a man name Rick who seems to not check his voicemail due to the fact I have left over 5 messages. This company is a joke. I myself work for a collection company so therefore I know my rights and the law per FDCPA and I will be taking legal matter over a simple EMAIL that would take 2 seconds to send.

I was just called by this company and spoke with a person who started barking orders at me about a debt that he refused to tell me about. He kept telling me that I got many correspondences about it so I knew fully well what he was talking about. I still have no clue what this issue is about. After I got upset, then he started to antagonize me about my attitude. I kept asking what this was about. After he refused to get back on the subject I hung up.

Unprofessional. If I have a debt, then show me that I have a debt. These people were rude and unwilling to provide me with verification. They said they could show me on their website, however the only thing their site provided was a place to make a payment. If I owe someone, I'm more than willing to pay it, however, I will not be bullied into giving someone payment without seeing documentation of a valid debt. Shouting at me is not the way to get me to cooperate. They say they cannot fax or email, which are the best alternatives since I never received these letters they claimed they mailed. If you want money from me, provide me proof of the valid debt and I will talk. Otherwise, take your scam somewhere else. I'm busy today and tomorrow is kinda busy too.

These people are a joke!!! They claim I took out a loan in 2009. I have never and I told them that. Claim they sent me 13 pieces of mail regarding this matter, and I never received any of them. The representative was very rude, asked for my address and refused to give it to her. Told her, "you should have it in file if you sent me 13 letters about this matter." Told me she would not help me and hung up on me.

This company was horrible to work with. I was gladly paying off a debt and was told in my first call that it was paid off. I then asked to make sure there wasn't another payment scheduled so I could make arrangements to have the funds, and was told "No it's paid in full. You can call in 3 weeks to get a letter sent out about your account being closed." Ok, so, naturally, I thought it was over. Moving on to pay off more debt, I get a payment deducted from my account and over drafted because of it. I called to see what was going on because I was told it was closed and they said I was lying and they never said that. Also was rude and interrupted me every time I started talking. I started getting pretty irritated. It wasn't the payment I was mad about, it was the fact that I specifically asked if I had another payment due and I was told NO and they still took out the money the next month.
The supervisor also made a comment, because it is my husband's debt I was paying, that it wasn't his fault that I didn't talk to my husband about this and if I didn't communicate with him not his problem. That just fueled the fire with me. I am the one who called and made the first payment. I was the one who they talked to NOT my husband and for that jerk to try and act like it is communication problems between my husband and I, well people like him are the reasons why EVERYONE hates debt collectors. This company is HORRIBLE to work with and horrendous customer service.

I wanted to share my experience with this company and I was not able to take the call as I was at work. Her name was Marcia ** and she said that she was with the Pre-Trial division for the state of Idaho and she was trying to contact me regarding a debt that I owed. She then told me that I could be arrested, go to jail, have my wages garnished, bank account attached, property seized etc. When I asked for a copy of the paperwork, she asked for my email address, said that she would send me a copy of the paperwork and we went about with the conversation. She did offer me a deal which I thought was fair and I asked again for a copy of the paperwork. She said she would send it at the end of the phone call. So when we hung up, I checked my email and there was no paperwork. Nothing to verify what she was talking about.
Four days later, I received a phone call from another collection company, National Portfolio Services, who wanted to talk to me about this phone call with this company. The person I spoke with said his name was Adam and he seemed very nice and understanding. In the course of this conversation, he told me that the previous agency was a fraud -- They could not offer me a deal like the previous one but they could offer me another deal, which after I did the math, was going to cost me more than the first deal. Needless to say, I have not paid anything to anyone until I get to the bottom of who is telling me the truth, and I am also seeking legal counsel regarding this matter as well. NCA has not stopped calling and now they are calling my employer and leaving threatening messages as well. Moral of the story: I should have not, even though I was in financial need, taken out a payday loan.

I thought it sounded good at the time, but when I learned from the application that the rates were so I was trying to cancel all the information that was entered and I Was unable to do so. I just don't want them to ask for payment from my bank account.

I had borrowed from RISE because I had fallen below hard times. Well I paid some and fell back again due to family emergencies. Well NCA took over and told me I'd have to pay 580 that was in Nov and here it is June and they're still taking $100 out each month. A ** keeps calling and then several unknown and I told them I've fulfilled my obligation and they still taking money out. I'm now recently retired and they still calling my work and me. Today they took another 50 from my account.

After being told they were part of another company doing their collections, we paid National Credit adjusters the lion's share of the bill for this company. We called the company we owed and tried to incorporate the small balance into another loan only to be told that NONE of what we had paid had been credited to our account. The account had been purchased by NCA the year before and the account with them had been "written off."
We were shocked as we had been told we were paying the original lender's collection department. A few weeks later, we got a phone call from NCA wanting the balance. They offered to give us a "letter of payment in full" which means nothing as they are not on our credit report. When we questioned them, the lady got really nasty, refused to answer and hung up on me. I am reporting them to the consumer protection agency and the US government for fraud. If we get our money back it is going to the original lender.

I was recently sent a letter from NCA stating payment was due by March 28. I was to call and make arrangements for this old debt that showed on my credit report. I have no idea who I owed this debt to and needed to do research on debt. Letter was dated March 18th 2015. To my surprise, March 29 that exact amount was taken from my checking account. I did not contact them and authorize this withdrawal. I am filing a complaint with the FTC, the state attorney general and the consumer financial protection bureau.

I have been getting nonstop phone calls from a Reno, NV number ** but no voicemail has ever been left. No emails from this company. And no mail. I finally decided to answer the phone this time and find out who has been calling me for the last 3 years from this number. And supposedly I had a 1,000 dollar balance that was forward to this NCA company from Pay Day One. The so called "Customer Service Reps" claimed that they sent me correspondence in the mail for the last couple of years and I have not received one piece of mail with their company name or address on it.
I argued with them for half an hour about this stating that I never received any mail and I wasn't going to pay the 1,000 dollars because I had no idea who these people were. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she wasn't any better. Very disrespectful and trying to put the blame on me for not responding to the correspondence that her company supposedly sent me in the mail. Because had I received their letters I would have sent a payment.

I recently defaulted on a loan from RISE Credit which was bought by NCA. I had some hard times but got back on my feet. I would like to pay my loan back to RISE, from who I borrowed the money from. I would even pay it to NCA if they weren't so rude. What can NCA do if I don't pay it to them? How can I stop them from calling my work and family members? This company seems unprofessional to me. I ask for documentation that they bought the loan, and they don't even have my email address. If they bought my account, seems like they should have it. What should I do?

They call me frequently from various local fake numbers. I finally got annoyed enough to call the number left on my vm back and explained that I do not know whom they are looking for but since it is a male, it obviously is not me. "Dave" grew rude and nasty telling me that I needed to sort it out with the person that put my name down and that he would never stop calling. Is this even legal? I do not even know who they are, who they called for, or how they got my cell number.

I got a telephone call on 8/19/2014 and they left an automated message for me saying I owed a debt. I know who I owe and it's not someone from Colorado. The number on my caller ID is 720-216-2845. The number they left me to call is 1-866-570-6085. I have sent cease and desist letters to the so called payday loan companies they represent. One of the conditions in the letter indicates that they cannot call me and that they have to send me documentation of the debt owed by U.S. Mail. They have failed to do so. I want them to stop or I will sue.

National Credit Adjusters purchased my account from JB Robinson which was from 2010, and they are harassing me every other day. A man named Ed ** has been very rude and threatening every time he calls. First thing he says is how do I want to settle this. I tell him I can't at this time and he gets threatening and starts talking about what I have and attacks my character. He has also threatened that he will garnish my wages and take me to court and I will have to pay court fees.
I have no statement that has been sent to me, but he wants me to set up something through him. I don't trust him especially the way he talks to me. He asked for my email address to send me a statement, but I figure he should have that if he knows where I work and knows how much I pay for my car note. Enough is enough. He doesn't have the right to call my workplace and harass me, so that I can lose my only income. This is not acceptable from a company that is trying to settle a debt.

This is the 2nd day he has called my work leaving messages with co-workers about my personal business. He is calling my work with threats and threatening to come to my home. He is going to end up getting me fired. He says that payday loans are rolled over automatically. I never requested any rollover and never received any more money. How can they just extend on anything without your consent? Is this legal?

Matt called my work phone and I wasn't working in my office on 7-28-11 and a co-worker was. He left all my personal information on this office phone so my co-worker received all this information. I would have made arrangements on this, as I have already paid double on a loan. But to pay 450.00 more on a 200.00 loan is a rip off. They have made threats and repeatedly harassed me on my job.

I have been paying $70 every 2 weeks on a $250 loan since March. They have contacted me saying I still owe $450 and I have told them I don't get paid until 7-2-10. They keep calling my work and have said that I refuse to pay bill. That is not true! These pay day loans are a total rip off.
