I would not use this card ever again. I have a First Premier bankcard and I had it canceled because of all the fees. You can never pay down your balance because all they do is add fees that you are not expecting and take away from your credit balance. After they do this they have very rude customer service representatives that like to tell you what you have to do. Also, they like to add fees and put you over your credit limit and then report it to the credit bureau as if you have made charges to put yourself in overdraft. This company is horrible. I will never use their credit card again.

Please never get this credit card. I have been paying mine off for over a year now .&&. I have paid triple of what I actually spent. $20.00-$30.00 interest fees plus... $12 monthly fees. Wherever they can add a fee... They will. Disgusting inhumane thieves. 0000.0000 💥🔥👁️🧿🪬💫✨

I received my Premier credit card after noticing the extreme fees. For a $500 credit line I was asked to pay an initial $54 fee + $8.25/month just to hold the card. After the first year, the fee increases to $10.40/month. I rejected this card without regard to my credit report. Consumer beware! This is a trap for the desperate. No matter your creditworthiness there are better options. Do your research!

Worst company on the planet, I tried to pay my bill with their app, it keep getting returned! I called. They said the routing number was wrong, went to the bank to verify the routing number it was correct, then the app finally took the routing number from the bank as the person at the bank helped me, but then First Premier said the acct number was wrong, the lady at the bank got on the phone and told them it was correct! They insisted it was wrong, so I paid off the card right there and then cancelled it, when I paid the First Lady she said it was all paid off, and she would send me to the cancellation dept, when I told them to cancel the card she informed me there was an 8$ fee, I told her to get lost and cancel the card right now! NEVER EVER USE THIS SCAM COMPANY!

Absolutely the worst I ever seen..I received this card in the mail and when I looked closer to the rip off scam I called their customer service and told them, "I don't want anything to do with you. You should be ashamed to work for these crooks." STAY AWAY FROM PREMIER BANKCARD.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I opened this card a little over 5 years ago. I gave them a $300 deposit and never received my money back. I continuously used the card until it expired. Had a $4 subscription that kept being charged even after the card expired and was never sent a new card! Locked the card and the subscription still kept being charged. The annual fee is $75 and they hit your credit if you misstep any but won’t correct any issues brought to their attention. I literally haven’t received a new card since 2023 but yet they plunged my credit 100 points because I can’t pay $75 for a card I don’t even have in my possession! I do plan on speaking with lawyers for damages and lost wages.

This company is absolutely horrible! 200 characters is not enough to express how despicable I think they are. There is not enough room to cite the specifics. I'll just say, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. ZERO STARS.

Terrible company. Check your statements and your activity log. They do not put all of your transactions on there then try to tell you what you have or don't. When you bring it up to them they try to give you the runaround on what they do and don't do. If I didn't need these accounts to show revolving credit on my credit report I would just cancel them. I have 2 credit cards with them and I even had my cpa review the records and since I keep a detailed log of what is paid and what isn't and dates with amounts you never see half of it on their statements or the activity log. I have been fighting with them for 5 years over this and it's ridiculous. Not to mention their fees are ridiculous constantly going up as well as I proved they charged me the annual fee 2 and 3 times a year and they're refusing to even acknowledge this as well. My cpa is meeting with my attorney to deal with this.

I look at my bank account and saw it was overdraft, Premier Bank Card took double payments out of my card saying I did that myself. They are telling me I paid 40 dollars and the 7th, when I looked at the site it said I owed 51 Dollars and when I paid it the site said I owe my next month's payment on March 8. If I paid 40 on the 7th why wouldn't it say balance 11 dollars on the tenth? I saw 51 and that's what I paid. I never authorized any one to take 40 out of my account, she's telling me I paid twice myself and refused to put those 40 dollars back in my account. I am cancelling my card, their reviews are horrible. 1's down the line, all bad reviews. I never saw a company with all 1 star reviews so stay away from these thieves.

Premier Bank sucks!!! If I knew what I know now, I would have left it alone. It takes years to pay off the interest alone and now probably 4-5 years to pay off remaining balance. This company needs to be out of business.

Don't waste your time supporting this company, you will see fee after fee, you won't ever be able to charge anything for yourself, once you activate it, you're charged a yearly fee, then a monthly fee every month, then interest on your fees. This is a joke.

I can’t give zero stars. This company is a joke. First they charge an annual fee and then they charge a monthly fee. When their competitors are giving 0 annual fees and 0 monthly charges. Keeping track of the random charges is an inconvenience for anyone and the way they slide it in is shady as well. You won’t get notified until your payment is DUE. No notification prior. It’s just there. And when you’re late one time they will report straight to the credit bureau and your score will drop 50 points. Even if you have no revolving credit with them. It’s their way of saying we want people who spend their money with our card and rack up interest. And we want to punish those you just hold on to it and not use it. Do yourself a favor. Close your current card with this company and get a new card with zero annual fees and zero monthly payments. You’ll thank me later. And if you’re considering getting a card with Premier, don’t. It is a waste of your money and time!

This review is not specifically for Brittany. This is for the company as a whole. I don’t understand how a business can operate in a way where I can get 4 completely different answers from 4 different people within the same hour. I paid off a delinquent account on January 22nd. I was originally told after I paid it off, it would release the hold on my other card when the payment clears. Yesterday, January 27th, I tried to use the card to bay a bill and it was declined. So I called to figure out what was going on. The first person I spoke with spent some time time looking into things before telling me she found the problem and was able to fix it and the balance should now be available on the card ending in 3627. She also informed me of an electronic letter that I received, which I was able to locate, and it was a record that the other account had been paid in full and the hold on 3627 had been released on January 24th.
So I tried to use the card again. Declined. So I called back. The next person I spoke with said there was still a hold on the account due to a balance on the delinquent account. I told her I did not think that this was correct and that I just spoke with someone who told me that account was in fact paid, the payment had cleared, and that I had a letter stating the same. She told me there was nothing she could do until I spoke with collections. So she transferred me there. Once on the phone with that department, they said I would have to speak with customer service because they showed the delinquent account to be paid in full and there was nothing on their end to do. Oh and they couldn’t transfer me back to customer service. So I called…again.
The next guy I talked to essentially told my that a payment was in the process of clearing and my balance would be available tomorrow. I told him that this did not make any sense as I had not made a payment today and the payment made was on the 22nd. He just became dismissive of what I was saying and would answer any questions I asked with “your balance will be available tomorrow”. At this point after being told now 4 different things, I asked him to speak with a manager. He told me again “your balance will be available tomorrow”. I said again that I wanted to speak to a manager and he told me that he could answer any questions I had. I had to ask him a third time to speak with a manager.
Fast forward to Brittany. She now tells me that the balance won’t be available for 45 days and that I will have to call then to find out when I can access the money. Companies like PBC exist to help people who are struggling financially by providing them with a high interest card with annual fees and they know that they have people’s backs against a wall so they are able to do business this way. I am disgusted that I have to leave my card open and I guarantee you that as soon as I am able to, I will be closing my account. Stay away from here and try and get your local credit union to help you out. Even if they don’t give you unsecured credit, they will help you with a secured card. Even a $200 secured card will help with you just as good as these jokers and you won’t have to pay NEARLY as much money nor have to deal with their atrocious customer service.

I have been a premier customer since 2020. It was great when I needed to get my credit started again, however the interest rate and monthly fees are ridiculous. I used my card and paid the balance off which stayed at $0 for several months still getting the monthly fee. I signed up for the credit card protection plan. I lost my job and almost 2 months going back and forth with them to approve the claim. Being told that while I wait for approval I still need to make my payments. What a waste of time and money. I don't recommend this company to anyone. If you are looking to start over with credit please, please, please research before you jump in.

This is a horrible company to get a credit card with. I had a card with them for over a year and when I moved stated they closed my card without reason. They then lied to me about the payment process and are now charging me more money for a card that I am completely unable to use. Absolutely horrible customer service. If they offer you a card send it back immediately. The one star is too high for this company.

What a bunch of scammers. They charged me an account set up fee of $95 and then charged me $75 before I even received the card. I tried to cancel the card even before I received it and they told me that they will put a negative remark on my credit if I cancel the card and that it will take an additional 7 to 10 business days for them to refund the money to the card I paid with. We are all better off without Credit than dealing with rip off companies like this.

This has been probably the worst banking experience I have ever had. Their customer service is not personable at all. They don’t even pretend to be friendly. If you haven’t made your payment the morning of, they’re calling you all day long. At first I appreciated the reminder but then it got borderline harassing. For a secured card… was bizarre. The amount of fees they charge you is unbelievable! So I have to pay to secure my card then you’ll charge me 95 for my membership fee. So by the time I receive my card I’ve already put my several hundred down and have lost $95 in credit...

This is for everyone who plans to sign up with this cc company. Just know that they do not tell us customers that they lock the card when you miss just one simple payment and are not allowed to use your card until you at least make the $30 minimum payment. However I never missed one payment and I had even paid it off once. Then I used it again one time and kept making payments without using it again, but this month I lost my phone my wallet everything in it so I got behind in pretty much in everything. I called to clarify and they kept insisting on me paying the late payment after I told them I don’t have the payment till next pay next week, I also insisted to speak to the office manager and he refused to also do that. I recommend another cc company because this one is absolutely no good at all!!!

I am extremely dissatisfied with First PREMIER Bank’s credit card. The interest rates are exorbitantly high, and being just 15 days late on a payment led to my card being blocked without prior notice. This is unacceptable and reflects poor customer service. I do not recommend this card to anyone.

The company is not to be trusted. Had the card 3 ½ years. The relationship ended when the merchant I bought from *Target* voided a transaction for me on the 29th of October. Premiere went through with 2 transactions, barely anything. Instead of helping customer service decided to be combative and tell me if it didn't go through, there wouldn't be a charge on the card. They didn't even reach out to Target but charged me for each dispute.

My cards were both paid in full & I had credit balance due to an overpayment. They sent me a check & started charging small fees on cards with a zero balances. That was followed by late fees & late fees on late fees. After racking up about $200 over 3 or 4 months, they turn me in as a delinquent account & ruining my good credit. My accounts were paid on time by automatic payment & this is appreciation I got. A drop in my credit score by 115 points once my accounts were paid off & I worked so hard. Sad & disappointed with our system that this can happen. They say closing accounts is bad for your credit score but so is leaving them open! Beware!

Horrible customer service every time. There is no auto pay so people with short term memory loss like myself always get screwed with late fees. You know what they said? "Remind yourself on your phone." Well sorry sir I have a flip phone. I was in an accident causing short term memory loss. All my bills are on auto pay. They purposely don't so they can try and get you on late fees. I hate them so much.

I was extremely precautious and worried when I first connected with Premier over 6 years ago bc I had never heard of them and they don't appear to have decent ratings. But reeling from a bankruptcy years prior, I was anxious to start reestablishing myself credit-wise. Premier was the first company to extend a credit card to me at that time. The Interest rate was and still is astronomical but that was to be expected. They have given me the opportunity to increase my credit line as I build time and good payment history with them. I have consistently received great Customer service from them which was the most unexpected positive feedback I can give. I'm treated with respect, kindness and due diligence.
I felt it only right to share my appreciation and positive experience with them as I sit here looking over my bills. Hate that anyone else had a bad experience but I can promise you they aren't a scam. Be prepared for high interest rates and possibly an annual fee. But other than that if you are in need of financial assistance and/or trying to boost your credit, I stand by Premier and recommend them!
