Capital One has closed most of our local branches which requires me to drive about 10 miles for their ATM or in person banking. They have mixed up my checking account with that of my son's causing his account to be overdrawn. They withdrew money from my savings account by mistake with no apology when I spoke with the teller...just basically said it was no problem to fix. Their customer service was so bad I wrote a letter to their CEO.

The longer I do business with Capital One the more I distrust the company and question its ethics. I have been a Capital One Card Holder for four years. I've always paid my bill on time and in that timeframe I've only filed three or four disputes and I am very active with my card. Each time I filed a dispute I had overwhelming documentation that the company was in the wrong, or that the charges were fraudulent, and each time Capital One's dispute department made it clear to me that the charges would remain and that opening up the dispute was a mere formality. It's like a kangaroo court. The decision is already predetermined and the dispute department is just going through the motions. I booked a hotel room in Atlanta, GA while I was in Dallas, TX. I went off the pictures on the website.

When I made it to Atlanta, the room was totally different. It was in such a deplorable state I could not sleep one night there. Also, it was unsafe. The cabinets were yellow with peeling paint and they were hanging from the hinges, the stove did not work, the green carpet was so soiled and matted it was black and unsafe to walk on barefoot. Some of the lights did not work, the room had a terrible roach problem, the bed was broken and not steady, the comforter on the bed had stains and holes as well as the curtains, the door had a huge gap between where it met the paneling and bugs from the outside could crawl through plus it was so flimsy it could be pushed open with a good shove and there were mysterious, very nasty looking brown stains and smudges smeared on the wall by the tv.

When I saw the room I immediately went to the office and requested a refund. Of course like most slum hotels they said no. I had paid for the entire week off of a bait and switch. The pictures shown on the site did not depict the room accurately. So I took pictures of the room for documentation and left. I called Capital One to tell them about the room and I encountered a very rude, snide, condescending and dismissive agent. He kept stating "well you booked the room" and he did not care that the room that appeared online looked nothing like the room I was given. He also made it clear that if the hotel refused to give my money back there was nothing I could do. He refused to look at my photos and Capital One temporarily removed the charge but as soon as the hotel responded. They placed the charge right back.

Even Though I left the room the first night. I was only given my money back after I posted the room photos online. Then that's when the hotel refunded me. I had also had several instances of hotels placing phantom charges on my credit card long after I had left the hotels for rooms I was no longer staying in. Capital One disputes was no help. They allowed those charges to also remain and I had to threaten to sue the hotels to get my money back. I also had instances where service I paid for was never rendered. Capital one allowed those charges to remain as well.

Capital One has never fairly investigated a dispute. They take the Company's word, or the scammers word - time and time again. It doesn't matter what proof you have, or whether the scammer or business lacks proof - Capital One allows the charge to remain. Capital One breaches their own contract, their own covenant, with their card holders by failing to fairly investigate disputes and by overlooking documentation provided by the card holder. Last, just yesterday I called the dispute department and spoke with Kiana a dispute manager. She also stated that Capital One will only refund if the business agrees and provides documentation stating they are refunding. So that basically says if the Business does not agree - the capital one card holder is on their own.

Capital One credit cards offer no protection. They are just debit cards with high interest. On top of this I had a 700 credit score and very low debt and a I made over $50K a year and my credit limit was a paltry $3,000.00 with a 24% interest rate. For the four years I've had my credit card I have an excellent payment record and I've received no credit limit increase. So Capital One is stingy as hell too.

Capital One is a great Business Card to have, their Credit Card service is excellent, and they will stand behind you in every purchase you make. “But BEWARE of their Travel Center.” Tt is the Worst Travel Booking Agency I Have Ever Used! On several occasions I was on the phone waiting over Two and a Half Hours and they never answered my call! If you have a flight problem with the Air Lines they are totally unless and you will not get any assistance or support from them! I would recommend that if you want to travel, “Take Your Money from Your Capital One Points” and use it to book somewhere else It will cost you less, be much easier to book and if there is a problem you will get assistance because The Capital One Travel Center will not give you any at all!

There was an order for food made and quickly cancelled with the merchant. The merchant proceeded to charge my card after the order was cancelled. I called Capital One to dispute the first time. The representative said all take care of and credited. I was checking my account and noticed the charge reappeared on my account without any notification, call or letter. I called and the automated answering service does not work. Plain garbage. I was on the phone for 23 minutes to dispute an error. Completely unacceptable from Capital One. The charge should have never been added on. The order was cancelled and I was under the impression as my credit card and representative Capital One would be on my side. It looks like you're not. Paying off my balances and will use my other cards effective next month. No more business with Capital One.

This was the worst banking experience I've ever had, and I've had some pretty bad ones. With Capital One, I started an account. It took weeks to get funds transferred in - failure after failure, and when all that finally got worked out, I couldn't use them for everything. They put a hold on the account and held my money hostage. I called night after night. They'd put me on hold and just leave me there, after transferring me from department to department. There's no other way to get ahold of them other than snail mail. The situation is currently ongoing. If you're going to bank with any organization, I highly encourage you to pick a neighborhood bank, and whatever you do, don't choose Capital One! Terrible service! Totally incompetent. My next report will be to the Attorney General of my state to just try to get my money back.

In this time of Corona Virus, I missed a payment. It is hard to keep up. I was given a fee which Capital One refused to waive. I have paid regularly and called to have this twenty five dollar late fee assessed. I was not given notice to my recollection of a late fee. I feel Capital One should exercise moral character during this economic hardship we find ourselves in. Truly saddened money is replacing morals for Capital one.

We saw we was preapproved for the Quicksilver card. We go on mini vacations, rent cars, and hotel rooms. A card is a necessity for us. I was given a $1000 credit limit. We used the card a few times and paid 100% of our bill on time each month. We must have had good enough credit as is in order to prequalify for the Quicksilver card. I watched my credit score drop 40 some points and my available credit shrink to $150.!!! It is a nebulous process getting a credit limit then seeing your score sink out of sight through the normal use of a credit card and paying it all off in a timely manner. This is a cheap looking piece of plastic. There is a strip which has a phone number to call for activation. When you peel this off there will be a dirty sticky face on your card. Alcohol scrub will take the shiny surface off. I applied my rewards to my bill when I get them.

0 Stars! This is literally one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with for any type of service. I had an ATV loan that was financed originally through another bank and my account was acquired by Capital One. I paid the account off in 2018 after a stellar payer history. I went to sell my ATV only to find out they they never released the lien on the title. It takes me 15 mins every time I call in to even get to someone that can speak about the account and they are completely useless from there. The only story I ever get is that it takes 15-30 days to resolve the issue. This last time they explained that everyone is working from home and can only mail and fax stuff on Fridays. Is this company for real!?! What year is it? I will never use their services again and will actively dissuade others from doing so as well.

The only complaint I have is that they outsource their customer service to countries with thick accents who are near impossible to understand. If 98% of your clients speak English and you must outsource, why not outsource to countries who have cultural and language competence in the country you primarily serve? Like Canada, Japan, Mexico City (not other areas though), and Jamaica. These are all really good countries to outsource to. NOT India, Pakistan, Columbia, Nigeria, or Central America.

The card was supposed to be coming on 3/24. We called and we had to be 1 + hour on the phone bc the rep didn't believe that it's actually the right people. She then put restricted on the account and we had to transfer to the fraud dept. We had to take a picture of the ID and uploaded to a special site and only after that the so called restricted has been lifted. All of this bc we were worried that the card was lost. Unfortunately we were treated so bad and we were humiliated just bc we didn't received the card. No one should get treated that way. Needless to say we are very disappointed from Capital One customer service. There are many banks that would love to get out business.

As my credit improved and I was seeking a better interest rate or a waived fee, they would not help. Each time I have called customer service, they have never helped. One time I was making a payment on my computer and it shut off. I had to restart it and enter the payment again. Because of this, the payment was literally made 3 minutes past the time that they allow payments to be made & they would not waive the late fee. Even though, I called right away to tell them what had happened. The payment was submitted and they would not waive the late fee. When I wanted to pay the credit card off in full, they would not work with me to make it easier to do. They seem to want any fee or interest they can possibly get from you. I called the credit union that I have the checking account with on 2/3 and they never received the payment. I called Capital One and spoke to Elaine and explained what happened. Elaine wasn't much help and didn't seem to know what was going on. I then called back on 2/4, and spent more time on the phone; my lunch time. I was surprised, this checking account was never provided to them to debit that account, since it's been closed for at least 2 years.

Important fact that I just recognized is that Capital One is the only creditor (Walmart credit card) which does not forgive you even once for paying after 8 pm Eastern time on the due date (Even for a 6-years customer who always pays the whole balance and on time). Let's say when you just changed your address and did not receive your bill in the mail and you forgot about or did not know about the 8 pm ET, no courtesy for you or even their long term clients.

Not just that, they also charge you interest for two executive bills meaning they charge you interest twice (two bills in a row) for only one time of missing the cut off time (remember just the cut off time not the day of your payment, for most credit cards you have all the way to 11:59 pm on the due date to pay in case you got busy during the day). With all that abundance of options we have as customers to choose a credit card, CapitalOne is NOT a smart and affordable choice to go with unless you want to pay fees and interest charges two times for only one time of missing cut off time!

I own a Savor one card. There is a annual fees and the customer service usually waives (they did for last year). I called the customer service multiple times before I was charged the annual fees this year and I was always told that they can only waive off once the charge is levied and not before. I explicitly asked what if they cannot waive and I got an option that the card can be downgraded and the fees will be automatically waived.

I called the fourth time after the charge has been added. Now the customer care personnel denied waiving off the fees and offered a downgrade for the annual fees waiver. Then the call is moved to another department and the new person is ready to do the downgrade and the fees will stay. I asked why the previous person told me the downgrade will waive the fees? The standard answer is I don't know. I was surprised that they don't have the history of the previous calls. Looks like they don't want customers to stay with them. Not sure why they give different answers to the same question. I would definitely stay away from CapitalOne.

The statements for Deposits and CDs received from CapitalOne 360 are completely useless. Instead of reporting the interest Paid Year to Date they report the interest accrued to date which is completely useless for any accounting purposes. At year end I need to know the total interest received for the year so I can plan my taxes accordingly, the interest accrued does not mean anything. This is the worst accounting method that I have seen with any bank. What we need on the statement is the interest received YTD and also the interest received for the previous year. Where the hell did Capital One hire their accountants ? The monthly statements are completely useless and the account details showing online have also the same kind of problem, they need to report YTD interest received and previous year interest received, but instead they report interest accrued to date which is a stupid number that does not serve any practical purpose.

They are THIEVES!! Back in October, I had a fraudulent charge on my account for $40. At that time, I only had $2 left in my account. They allowed the fraudulent transaction to go through DESPITE having my account on Auto-Decline. I called and explained that wasn’t a charge I had made, and the CSR gave me a hard time about “verifying my identity.” I told her I no longer had my phone number on file, so she said she’d literally have to send me a code in the mail and for me to call back. Never received this code, the charge was never disputed, and they “permanently restricted” my account. I’ve been trying to get this resolved for MONTHS, including the other day when I had the same issues with “verifying” me.

Funny how they don’t need any verification if someone hacks your account, but ask you for blood to verify that it is indeed you with a -$40 bank account!! To top it all off, my stimulus was deposited into my “permanently restricted” account and THEY KEPT IT!! Even the IRS says it’s at the bank’s discretion to return it. LEGAL THEFT!! By the way, if you even consider going with Capital One, read the fine print. Their contract says they can sue you for your overdraft, and make you pay for THEIR lawyer fees! Also that they can take money from your account whenever they want. Insane how they’re allowed to get away with this!

I made a purchase from a company that appeared to be from CA, it was from China. The warranty for the two pairs of shoes I purchased said 100% guarantee. When the shoes arrived, they fit poorly and looked cheap. Immediately I contacted the company for a return address. The company then began to negotiate the refund they would provide and informed me the picture I had provided, showed the shoes to be in great shape therefore they would not refund for the following reasons: it's too far, the cost to send them back is too expensive, there is a pandemic going on, they may never arrive to China etc. After ongoing correspondence an address was provided, the shoes were sent back (at my expense).

Meanwhile, I have been in touch with Capital One who have requested, on Master Card's behalf, that I contact a local vendor who sells shoes and request they review the shoes and on their letterhead, explain why the shoes do not fit properly. During a pandemic, Capital One is requiring me to go to some store (stores were not open) and asked them to review the fit of the shoe and on their letterhead, explain why the shoe is a poor fit. Remember now, 100% guarantee from the vendor has been forwarded to Capital One, but MC is disregarding this and requiring me, during a worldwide pandemic to go above the vendor's own warranty. Capital One had now informed me, because I did not complete this egregious requirement within a certain time frame, I can not be helped.

I have provided proof I purchased the shoes on my card but somehow the vendor pushed it through a PAYPAL account called DANKTHIKIMN. Aug.11th it posted. I have provided a receipt of the shoes being returned and a tracking number, I have contacted the vendor multiple times who assured me the shoes would be refunded in full, less the $30 or so I spent to return them. The vendor now says they have refunded them to the PAYPAL account and I can collect the money from there. I don't have this account, I didn't charge them through PAYPAL and Capital One says they can not help because the dispute has been closed.

I am now out of the shoes, the money and the cost to send them back. Furthermore, I have been told there is nothing anyone can do, talk to the vendor. The vendor says to talk to Capital One. Please tell me what I did wrong and how can I get support to have my money refunded. And how were these shoes purchased through a PAYPAL account I don't have when I used a credit card. Please explain to me how I am being supported. The customer service on both sides is negligent.

Likewise, I had a line of credit with Capital One for over 26 years. In May 2020, Capital One decides to discontinue their lines of credit. However, they failed to notify their paperless customers. In July, I noticed that my account was locked and the balances were zero. I called customer service and they advised that they have discontinued this service.

I was still able to pay the balance by transferring the payments from my checking account. However today - Dec 7, they have also disabled the ability to pay the account balance electronically. I called Capital One again and advised that I did not receive any notice that this option was being disabled. The rude customer service lady said, "well I'm advising you now". I travelled to Capital One and tried to pay the amount in the bank. The teller advised that they do not receive auto loan, credit line payments, etc. in the bank. So Capital One has disabled services that allows customers to do business with them online with no warning and in the middle of a pandemic.

After 37 years, I will be closing every Capital One account and advising my friends and family to do the same. Capital One is no longer customer friendly and has made it very difficult to do business with. Save yourself some time and heartache - Open an account with Chase (that offers a $200 bonus for new accounts) or with Bank of America (that offers $150 for new accounts). Not only were they not able to articulate the correct way to calculate the correct statement date I was informed by a manager not to listen to anything that the first representative say to you....

I don't even know where to begin with how upsetting this current situation has made me. Not only have they been effect in dropping my credit score they have also proven that even after 5 years of loyalty never missing a payment the kind of respect that they have for you. For those looking to join Capital One, don't waste your time communicating with the lower level staff. I have recorded conversations of over 6 different employees who do not even know how to calculate the bill cycle date. So if you need any clarity regarding your account good luck, because the managers do not know either. The only reason we were able to determine the correct way to count was by looking at my past credit statement.

Also their app does not provide you with any valuable information regarding your up and coming statement dates. They only provide information regarding your due dates and if you are familiar with trying to improve your financial worthiness you would know that your STATEMENT DATE are the most important dates to look out for.

So with that being said, Capital One is only trying to manipulate a certain level of economy status. Why else change formatting of statement dates from concert to floating, and leaving the method of interpretation through a 5 sentence paragraph that can easily be misinterpreted based on your perception of how and when to count from the due date.!!! These people are con artist. If I leave you with one thing I would say read your statements and if you see something funny, call, ask for a manager, record the conversation and get ready for them to do nothing. That way you don't have to waste any time gathering false information.

I went into my online account in hopes of paying one of my cards off when I finally received my unemployment. I decided to pay with my checking account because I had misplaced my debit card. Well big mistake because when I put my checking account number in I made a mistake of putting a 7 instead of a 6 for the very last number. I checked my account everyday wondering why my payments had not posted. I made a $32 payment on the 9th and then a $532 payment on the 11th when I received my money (from the same account). So after days passed by and my payment still had not posted I decided to give capital one a call.

I sat on the phone for 20 minutes with a representative trying to get to the bottom of everything. After about 15 minutes of looking for everything that could have went wrong he asked me to give him my checking account and routing number. After I gave him my checking account number he yelled with excitement, "there's your problem! You put a 7 instead of a 6!" I was so happy to had found the issue. He asked me if I wanted to process the $532 payment using my corrected account and I said yes, but when he tried the system would not let him process the payment because my balance had went into the negative or something of that sort. He told me to call back tomorrow and he was making notes of everything so that the next representative would see what was happening.

I wake up the next morning to make a payment and my account is mark CLOSED. I called capital one and they told me it was closed due to fraud. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I called the fraud department 3 or 4 different times and nobody could help me. They made me feel like a convicted criminal for an honest mistake. I now have to hire a lawyer to get all of this cleared up. This entire situation is depressing and I find myself crying about it everyday. I lost my job due to COVID and was still trying to keep my credit cards in good standing. I've been building my credit and I have been pushed back even further because of an honest mistake. I am now looking for legal assistance

I have two Cap One cards that I've had for years. They are always paid on time and early in the cycle. I haven't had problems with them until recently. Earlier this year 3 fraudulent charges were made on one of the cards, 3 charges at fast food restaurants between Pensacola, Florida and Texas, all during the worst time of the pandemic this Spring. Called Cap One and these were remedied. They sent me a new card to replace the one with the fraudulent charges. I tried to activate it and the nightmare began. They were wanting me to prove who I am by scanning documents and sending them to them over my cell phone. I said "no" that I'm not putting myself at further risk.

They said my account would be fine restricted until I was ready. They kept trying to contact me to get these scanned personal documents again. Finally, I called them and found one reasonable person in the fraud department who checked my account and couldn't find a single reason why I was being asked for personal documents. He fixed the situation and everything was fine. Now 3 months later, I go to pay my bills for the two cards and both of the cards have been restricted. Again I call the Fraud Dept and I'm asked to do the same thing, to scan personal documents and send to them. Again, I said, "No." I told them I was willing to answer any questions, but I was not putting my personal documents at risk for something that wasn't necessary.

I asked them why my accounts were restricted and they refused to tell me. I spoke to one more person who was supposed to be a manager, and got the same answer, that he couldn't tell me. We went round and round for several minutes. I asked him for the next person about him and he said I'd reached the top. To which I said, "I know you're not the CEO of Cap One so I definitely have not reached the top!" We went round and round for a few minutes. He said that he couldn't tell me who was higher up than him, it was against policy. So, Cap One is wanting me to do prove who I am when they were not willing to prove to me who they are. It works both ways.

Finally I just told him I was going to pursue it further, but my relationship with them was definitely over, that they just lost a customer. I told him someone could call me back if they wanted to, but it wasn't going to make any difference to me keeping a relationship with them. The biggest problem I have with the situation is that they were stonewalling me; they refused to help, so I refused to answer. I'd stay away from this company. The credit cards seemed to be good over the time I had them, but they are not worth the trouble now.

I have other cards, a very good one with my credit union, which is far more reliable and safer for me to have. It's difficult to connect with Cap One now; so many things have changed. No secure messaging, no email for customers, no notice of anything unusual happening to the customer, no communication period. My advice is to find another credit card company. And for those with the good reviews... just wait until something goes wrong and then you will find out.

Finally, I mentioned that "since none of the CSR are not able to help I requested to speak with a manager. I mentioned that I wanted them to reduce my interest rate and offer me a payment plan, so that I could reduce my credit card balance. My wife lost her job due to COVID-19 and we needed some help to manage our monthly payment. This Capital One credit card high balance makes my credit score go down. But the manager said they do not have any programs to help me. I wonder, if there are any federal government affiliations with Capital One banking? Payment arrangements were made and I am now caught up and back on track...so I thought, only to find out Capital One has raised my Interest Rate in the midst of a pandemic. How terrible! It shows Capital One truly doesn't care about its customers.

Original Review: I am disappointed with the support and understanding during Covid-19. My credit card has always been in good standing until now. Other companies have, defer a payment, lower interest rates, waive late/over limit fees. Capital One’s solution to me was “how about we round it up to a number that’s easy for you to remember”. The number suggested was quite a bit higher than the payment due. I know how much is due and do not have a problem remembering cents! I found it to be insulting during these challenging times. Covid-19 has financially affected everyone differently and at different times.

Imo Capital 1 provides provisional credits to placate customers. They have no intention of contacting the merchant or any follow up. I was a customer for years. The interest was high and they wouldn’t reduce it similarly to other cards for more than 12 months. I had to complain to several authorities in reference to a cc payment linked to a bill. I received my money with zero assistance. At any rate my credit has greatly improved and I have options. Use this card to build credit. Pay the bill as soon as they post to your account. Other than that don’t apply.

I paid my balance in full 11 days before my bill was due. Then they charged me interest on a 0 balance. I called thinking that this was wrong to do to a customer. I opened my email thinking this was to tell me it was paid in full to find out I'm charged interest because I didn't pay my balance in full the month before also. If I hadn't opened that statement I would not have known the bogus interest charge and they would have charged me a late fee and reported to the credit bureau. The first lady I talked to acted like my being a loyal 18 year customer did not mean a thing. They were willing to lose a customer over $7.42! So I asked to talk to a manager and after being on hold for 20 min, I received the same treatment from her. Neither one blinked an eye when I said I would close my account.

They just don't care. What happened to the days where companies would do little things to make a customer stay with them? I mean, 7 dollars wouldn't break me but it also would not break them being a billion dollar company. But to be treated like just a number pissed me off. I was only ever angry and yelled at a customer service rep one other time like 15 years ago and guess what? It was this same company. Why didn't I learn my lesson back then instead of giving them thousands of dollars over the years? I decided to keep my account open because it is good for my credit score. But it will NOT be my go-to card like before and I would never open another account with this shady company!

The charge was flagged for fraud! While in line after the first attempt, we called Capital One and the representative had us try 3 more times with the same card while they were on the phone with us. It failed each time. Capital One then informed us that because we tried 3 or more times that the flag could take 1-2 weeks to get removed. So I tried my other card and it was flagged. I had to call Capital One again and while on the phone, I had them fix the issue.

After nearly 1 hour I was able to use our second card. The issues are that the original card is the one we use all the time because of 1.5x miles has now been suspended. We have all our recurring bills placed on this card! What a hassle. So we are probably going to move to a different banking and card company. Especially after we call Capital One while driving home and he stated that the conversation would be recorded for training purposes. I said, "Great, so am I." The representative asked if I was recording and if I were he would hang up immediately! How ironic, they can record us but we can't record them. This experience was horrible all around! HELP!!!

This will impact my credit score significantly...because of the usage and even when I pay that off, I will still have a drastic decrease in my overall available credit. I had a horrible year 2019, car accident, therapy, etc. so I had a difficult time keeping up with my payments, two out of 3 cards were restricted, including my precious biz card that I worked so hard for. I've had these accounts for approx 5 years or more in good standing prior to 2019. Different than a couple of my other card companies with the same history, same faithfulness, they didn't care, immediately sent my accounts to collections. My good score plummeted over 140 points to 540. Capital One did not leave me high and dry. I called in and the CSR told me my accounts were restricted. I had no idea what that meant, but after talking more with her, it was over, a done deal with the credit.

I asked for a Credit Manager and when I explained what occurred to me (she has no idea that the car accident and therapy was very small part of what I was dealing with as a single mom), she advocated on my behalf. I have no idea what department she was speaking with, but each step of the way while on the call she was considerate, returning to inform me that she was still on the call and continuing to attempt to get my cards reinstated. Finally after 30 minutes, it was all done, she did it!!!

My accounts were reinstated and I was in a position to pay down the balances that were at least $500 - $1k over their limits. I figured, heck if a company can do this for me, I have no problem giving what is owed to them, fees and all. I will forever be dedicated to Capital One and if I have nothing else in my wallet, it's OK. So now I am rebuilding my business, helping my daughter to return to college and pay my basic rent. I had applied for a 0% Transfer Fee from another Credit-Card debt elsewhere, while immediately accepting that while including a 1yr 0% interest including 12 following months. But their advertisement was clearly FALSE, while including that Transfer Fee and only including 0% entirely for only 6 months while still never caring about their False advertisement!

Capital One is not a very good company for customers. They aren't willing to work with you if you have issues with your bill. The annual fee is much too high for the level of service provided. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I have three Capital One credit cards -- a MasterCard, a Visa (used as a backup when I travel) and a second MasterCard. I got the second MC because it gives higher rewards for grocery and restaurant purchases. Occasionally, I have had problems, such as fraudulent charges. Calls to Capital One have solved them immediately. Their customer service reps are knowledgeable and extremely courteous.

Used the card for many years, generally positive experience. Not really sure if I'll continue to use Capital, might be looking for a change. Like that I can use my rewards when shopping at Amazon. All in all, it has been a mostly positive experience.

It has been in the news that credit cards are offering assistance when it comes to being impacted by corona virus problems. It would be nice if they would waive the fees during this period of crises, but they are not willing to do so. Some other cards are doing this. It makes me not want to deal with Capital One anymore.

I think a person who has a bad attitude is reviewing these auto loans. I have a Capital One Credit card in good standing. I have been a customer for two years and have never been late. My credit score is 620 and I wanted to apply to get a used car. Nothing expensive or anything. I have lived at the same address for 8 years. I have several credit cards that are in good standing and I was turned down. The reason they gave was too many inquiries and not enough credit history.?? Three years is not enough? And I have a vendor that is coming off due to I was a victim of fraud. I believe if you already have a credit card in good standing they should at least give their customers a call and go over why you're being turned down and let the customer give an explanation if possible. Just don't stamp in big letters DENIED.

I have been a client of Capital One for years. Their business model is impeccable. The card is recognized wherever I go be it local, national, or international. The fraud department is quick to resolve any issues I might encounter when using this card. Also I get text message alerts if something doesn't look right on a purchase I made. Use the rewards program every year for my trips which helps greatly as I am a Senior Citizen. Throw away your other cards and Get Capital One.

I initially got this credit card because it offered an 18 month interest-free promotion. My grandson needed to get laser eye surgery for a job he applied for at that time last year, and the service provider required a cash payment of $4,000.00. The card was the perfect solution for him to have the surgery. My grandson got the job after he had the successful surgery! I also chose this card because I frequently travel abroad. The card does not charge international transaction fees for purchases made out of the United States. The card also offers 1.5% cashback on purchases. It's the perfect card for me.
