Carlos was great! Was patient and called Verizon for me as they were difficult before I went to Cricket. Carlos was focused, calm and knew pricing off the top of his head. He cares about his job. I hope my 5 stars help today! I have a new customer for him in 2 weeks 'cause my roommate liked my new Motorola Moto G Power 5G I got yesterday***. Thank you Carlos for the good store visit in Orvl. This wireless provider is garbage. The only reason I switched is to have coverage and unlimited use in Mexico, let's hope I don't regret that too. Let's see, where do I start? 2 months ago I went into a Cricket store in Arkansas, desperate because my other phone (Boost) had been completely destroyed and I had little familiarity with the area I was in. The employees "helped me" get hooked up with a "free phone" that they recommended. They also claimed that the accessory bundle was "included". It was not. I was charged $60 for crap I don't need.

Anyway, about a month into my service, my phone started locking itself with the internal SIM card when I was out of service range. Not like a "can't make a phone call" kind of a thing, but a "I can't use my phone at all, in ANY capacity" kind of thing. I ended up driving 100 miles to PURCHASE an external SIM to try to fix the problem (I had to pay more because the external SIM the phone contained was malfunctioning). Well, lo and behold, it didn't fix the problem. I went almost a month with a phone I could barely use (even to play my music or take a picture) and let me clarify, the phone was paid off, I was NOT making payments. I drove to Cricket 6 times in the following 3 weeks, over 300 miles, costing me about $100 in gas.

After countless hours of wasting my time and driving all over the state, the corporate representative agreed to reimburse me $20 on my bill. TWENTY DOLLARS. Days of my life, hours of driving, and $100 in gas is worth $20 to them. Then, as the cherry on top of all of that, I was forced to pay for the most expensive plan for 2 months, which actually turned into 3 because the change of plans doesn't take effect until next month.

BUYER BEWARE! They are scam artists, they don't care about your issues with the phones they sell you, and they are a monumental waste of time (not to mention money). I would not recommend them to anybody. I'd suggest paying more, or going with Boost Mobile if you want cheaper service. I had better luck with a $85 phone from Walmart and a $25 plan from Boost. Cricket, you should be ashamed of yourself for taking advantage of vulnerable people. Boo on you.

I will give them a zero-star rating, but I can’t but basically what they did. They tried to gaslight you into thinking that what you’re saying to them is incorrect cause I tried to transfer my phone number to Verizon, and it was basically being super unhelpful. Try to make me feel like I’m crazy for one to do so, so the point where I just hung up and called Verizon, which was super helpful and had great communication.

The company changed my plan, charged me more money per line and gave me less data for more money. They never told me at point of sale for my razor phone that they put a lock on it even though I paid for the phone in full. They made it very difficult to port out my phone line. I spent 3 1/2 hours the first try and finally succeeded the 2 try that took over 1 1/2 hours. I intent to file a complaint with the FCC and take legal action if possible.

I'd give Cricket a 0-star rating for Customer Service if I could. They are quite happy to take your money, but unable to provide service for the money. I spent 23 minutes after dialing 611 to speak with an agent on Friday around 10 am EST. As soon as I started talking when the agent came on line, the call dropped within 30 seconds. No one bothered to call me back. So, I tried live chat. On the first attempt, after a 6-7 minute wait, the agent dropped because I didn't type fast enough for them.

On the second live chat attempt, the call dropped after a 9–10 minute wait because they had some issue at their end. The chat said reconnecting, then a few minutes later asked me to start a new chat. So, I started a third a live chat with a digital agent, got a live agent after more than 15 minutes. It then took 30 minutes to resolve a relatively simple issue. All in all, a very frustrating 2 hours of my life gone for a 5-10 minute resolution.

I purchased a cellphone through a promotional offer that required maintaining a $60/month plan for two months. I have fulfilled that requirement in full. However, after completing the two-month period, the company is refusing to allow me to switch to a lower-cost plan. When I contacted customer service, I was told that the promotion is still “not over” or that the system does not allow the change, despite the stated terms having been met. Each time I raise the issue, representatives claim they are “escalating” the situation, but no resolution is ever provided. This appears to be a tactic to force customers to remain on a higher-priced plan beyond the agreed promotional period. The lack of transparency and failure to honor the terms of the promotion is misleading and unfair to customers.

My husband and I have had an account with Cricket Wireless for 4 years. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy watch after being told I could get a plan for my watch for an additional $10 per month. After receiving my watch I contacted Cricket to get the plan for my watch. The person I spoke to kept putting me on hold saying he wanted to help me and finally said he needed to transfer me to someone who can help me with my Samsung watch. He TRANSFERED me to SAMSUNG CUSTOMER SERVICE. I then found out through my WATCH that Cricket does NOT offer plans for SAMSUNG WATCHES, ONLY APPLE! Yet they have phone plans for Samsung/Android phones!

I switched my cellular carrier to SOMEONE ELSE MORE EXPENSIVE then CALLED CRICKET to see if I could get a REFUND since my AUTO-PAY was PROCESSED ONLY the WEEK PRIOR. The CSR said "NO" followed by some gibberish that made no sense. I requested to speak with a supervisor; I was then put on PERPETUAL HOLD! Beware - I guess you get what you pay for and do not expect to get any type of refund from these people!

I have lived in South Denver for 2 years the beginning of February. I have always frequented the same location. I went into that store today on Leetsdale Dr and the woman in store today very rudely told me "I don't have to discuss my employees' personal schedules with you." WHEN I TELL YOU I WAS ABSOLUTELY FLOORED and not to mention completely caught off guard. Was going in to upgrade me and my kids' phones and asked for a gentleman whom I am familiar working with when I was rudely turned away.

I called the store to get the woman's information to report her behavior and sh/e hung up on me. I called back and she proceeded to tell me as far as I am concerned "she is everything down to security" in the building and hung up on me once more. I tried to call other locations to report this but unfortunately my number is now blocked. I am very disappointed in this moment....I can only imagine what else she is doing and getting away with by hanging up on people and blocking their numbers. I really hope that this is not the way Cricket wants itself represented. I had a huge upgrade in mind today and your employee cost the store that.

Saying I have to go to the store to activate it. I can buy the phone under my account and get the phone transferred but when I need tech support to get it to work I have to go to the store. Why even offer online sales and set up if ultimately you have to go to the store. Should have stuck with a different carrier.

Cricket Wireless is definitely a bad company to choose for wireless cell phone and internet! I purchased a phone from them the 16th and Mission store in San Francisco and they did not provide a physical SIM card they only provided an esim so when my phone was not acting correctly I did a factory reset and the phone would not work afterwards! I went back to the store and explained to them a SIM was not provided and they wanted to charge me $25 for a physical SIM and $10 for a new esim I explained that I just purchased the phone within the last week and I did not have funds available! So I left the store a very upset person having had heart surgery last year and blood pressure issues so now I cannot contact anyone in case of an emergency! Also I thought they placed the receipt in the bag which they did not!

I purchased a Cricket wireless internet hotspot because we have very good cell phone service in the middle of that woods where we have our permanent campsite. The hot spot worked without any issues, but we didn't need the service year-round since we are not at our camper from November through April. I cancelled the service at the beginning of December, knowing up front I would have to reactivate the hotspot service at the beginning of the amping season this year.

I called about getting the service reactivated and the help technician said I needed to go to Walmart and purchase a new SIM card because the associated phone number for the hotspot cannot be retained, and I needed a new SIM card then would be given a new number. I spent the last three days, over 6 hours of my time trying to get the hotspot activated with 6 different tech support agents and finally I wanted to speak to a manager, and they were to call me back in 5 minutes and never called mt.

Here I am with an internet hotspot not working and having had to purchase a new SIM card as advised by their support people and nothing is working. I have to now go to a store and have them activate my unit and I will have to pay another $25 dollars for the local technical support. The products are great, the technical service and help desk absolutely SUCKS. Good luck ever getting any help from their help support!

The only thing I regret is there is not a zero star rating. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with a company. No exaggerations! I realize some of this issues I had may be attributed to the individual sales people. However, Cricket employs them so they must be accountable for who they hire. First of all they added features I declined. I had to catch the protection pack on the bill. They refused to reimburse me. So, I just remove it and move on. A couple days later my screen started going in and out and freezing. The phone was barely operational. So, I attempted to get the phone swapped out since I was charged for that anyway. I researched that I should still get it until the next bill cycle. They declined. Then sent me to the third-party company to complain Asurion by saying I need to mail the phone to them to get reimbursed.

I said I was concerned in the meantime I would have no phone. Is there anything that can be done while I am waiting for the process to unfold. They offered to sell me a phone but without a discount or promotion. I decided the pricing was too high for what was offered. So, the sales agent gave me a number to call to complain. I believe it is the third party company. They told me my claim was denied. Then offered another number I could call at Cricket and they never answered the line. I was on hold in the store for 45 minutes and gave up. Now, I am concerned I have no phone soon unless to purchase one at a ridiculous value....All after being forced to pay for a protection plan that didn't work.

I ended up going to Metro and getting a great promotion and free phone better than the old one I had. I am not much into phone technology. All I ask for is a good battery. I don't care about cameras and such. Good Battery and decent Ram and I am good. I would not recommend this company to my very worst enemy. I got the runaround and a horrible experience of disrespect and the comment "I just work here" when pointing out my concerns.
