Boombox CD player quit working after about 1 yr of occasional use. (Purchased for bedtime music when grandson visited.) Discovered nothing would work, not even FM radio. No power going to the machine. Tried different electrical outlets. Nothing. Went to Amazon online and found past order with Asurion insurance protection purchased for item. Filed claim online - easy peasy. Asked for description of problem then issued a mailing label to return at a UPS store.

I purchased Asurion+ and have it for seven months. I filed a TV claim and was asked to ship the 55-inch TV through UPS. Asurion only paid for the label and not for packaging or covering. I called back and spoke with two representatives. They informed me of the full replacement process. However, the Asurion representative I spoke with had never heard of shipping a TV because of its size.
I was then transferred to different departments, and the representative told me that I had to ship the TV out. I asked if the Asurion representative could send someone to pick it up because of its size and weight. He said no. I asked him what kind of policy would be in place if I had a 65-inch TV and how it would be work if I have to shipped. He could not provide me with an answer. It seems that all the representatives there overseas are not aware of Asurion’s policies. Asurion+ is a hassle to deal with when filing a claim. It seems that they will not cover it if it is considered an insurance protection for devices. They should not be in business discriminating against customers.

I have paid $68 monthly for phone insurance that covers all my lines for many years now. This year I actually had to insure 3 phones. Speaking with the Asurion rep, he informed me for the first time that my plan is limited to 3 claims per year. Not a pleasant surprise since I was never told of this. In the end, Asurion rep guaranteed the claim can be processed if I pay extra to add another slot for the year. I paid extra and was told the system needs 24hrs to update, call back tomorrow. I called the next day and was told I can not file a claim on that line because it was just added and the screen was cracked before paying extra to add a slot. I did everything that the Asurion rep told me to do and paid extra. Now they deny my claim after paying extra per Asurion. Stole my money and hang up the phone on me when I ask for a manager. Insurance is not as advertised and they deny claims after saying yes if you pay extra.

Straight up service; as advertised! Will surely and highly recommend. From claim filing to repair scheduling, seamless! No hidden or ambiguous fine print. You can include ALL classes of home appliances, from refrigerator to stove, washing machines, dryer, computer and cell phones. They cover it all.

If I could take stars away I'd take 100 of them away. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT get this garbage. Lost my phone. Went to the Verizon store to get a new one like any sane person would. Only to be told I has to wait for them to send me a phone, I couldn't get one at the store. Where they actually sell phones. They gave me a window of 7-9 pm. It was my understanding that a "tech" was delivering my phone and going to help me set it up. It got DROPPED OFF at 9pm. I watched him pull up and watched him leave waiting for him to knock on my door. I open the package only to find they sent me a USED/REFURBISHED phone.
The phone I was replacing was lost. I told their tech support this over and over. They kept asking me to put the old card in after I told them it was at the bottom of the freaking Gulf of America. It is currently 9:40 am on May the 6th. I started this at 9am May the 5th and I am currently on hold @ 9:45am after calling at 9 when they opened and been on hold with their "tier 2" tech support and STILL don't have an active phone. Screw this place and Verizon. I despise them both and hope they go out of business.

Broke a glass Soma water a couple of weeks before the plan expired, didn’t get around to filing a claim till a couple of months later, claim denied, waste of my money.

This is the easiest plan I've ever had!!! I highly recommend everybody to sign up for the Home Protection Plan. It truly took all the nervousness out and gave me a peace of mind. From the inception of the phone call to get help to the incoming email. I have never had customer care that showed they cared. Again I highly recommend this to everyone. I have already called friends and family.

I bought the warranty from Guitar Center through Asurion protection plan. I have a problem with my amplifier. They said my claim was covered and all I had to do is mail that back to them. They sent me a UPS pacing slip with a tracking number. And a letter that said bring it down to UPS. UPS would package it up and charge Asurion for the package. So I go down to UPS and they tell me that’s not true even with the letter I need to pay for the packaging upfront. I called back Asurion and the guy tells me a completely different story than the email that they sent me the previous day. What a joke. Their website is a joke. It just spins and spins and spins. All the other websites I try work just fine so it’s the website not my connection but the absolute worst. The communication is horrible and I would recommend everybody to never buy a warranty from guitar Center or Asurion. I would rate it zero stars if that was an option.

My experience been awful. The amount of times I've been on hold, transferred, and put on hold again is so frustrating and my claim still isn't resolved. They were sure to take my $99 deductible though, about 2 weeks ago!

The experience was pretty good. I didn't know I had to go back and file a claim through this system. We was thinking that it was filed already. So when I went back on the message I found I had to file it myself.

I am really disappointed and will never use Asurion again ever! Sorry to say, they're bunch of lies! And they have no clue what they're doing! They attempted 6 repairs on my Akai but they don't admit that they can't fix it! They failed time and another and each time they would tell me, "If we can't fix it will credit you." But they don't! Don't fall for Asurion! It's a scam!

I was pleasantly surprised by Asurion. I received a chair that One of the arms would not work after I put it together. I contacted them, and the claims process was quick and didn't require me to disassemble a fully assembled chair just to return it, and to reassemble a new chair definitely worth the warranty.

The techs arrived on the early side of the service window. I got a text about 20+ minutes before they arrived. Checked my phone carefully and had my screen repaired and battery replaced quickly so I could be on about my day. Phone is working great and I am quite pleased. This was my first experience with Asurion.

This service is the absolute best bang for the buck. I have had this service for over 6 years and every year something goes out or breaks. And we always use this service to avoid having to replace the items.

I was worried because my phone screen was broken, but I filed a claim through Verizon insurance and the process was quick and efficient. The staff member in charge was excellent and very kind. The insurance fee was definitely worth it. I look forward to using your service again in the future.

Made a claim on 2 devices. Within 48 hours a representative Vincent was at our door. He fixed both devices one after the other and was fast, friendly and efficient. Thank you again. I’d recommend this to anyone who has devices that need repairing. They came right to my door did the repairs in the driveway.

Nice to be able to get a new phone next day and not have to be without one for too long. It’s very inconvenient and annoying to deal with a messed up phone. Also don’t have to leave your house at all to wait in any lines.

Absolutely most beneficial product to have! I order so much from Amazon, from gifts to daily products, to furniture! The subscribe and save is awesome! This added protection covers almost everything! When the normal warranty expires, this one kicks in! It more than pays for itself!

Stay far away! Asurion is not a match for music equipment or anything you really care about. I sent my DJ equipment in for repair and he got back to me in worse condition. Absolutely horrible. Zero stars.

I lost my phone and after I called Verizon to make sure I had insurance, Verizon directed me to Asurion website. With 3 simple questions my phone was shut down and another exact phone was ordered to be delivered the next day. It was truly a stress free procedure.

This insurance is definitely worth having. My son’s phone ended up in a pond and I was able to replace his phone for a fraction of the cost for a new one. 10/10 If you have teenagers, do yourself a favor and register their device. It will save you frustration and headaches of having to replace their device.

I feel my TV should have received a little more money like $700. I paid $5400 for the TV and it had a lot of features like three like 3 D. and pitcher in pitcher and many other features. It was still a good TV.

This was very easy and fast, I completed the whole process while dropping a deuce. I'll always insure my phone thru them. This is probably my third claim over the last 6 years and they have all been this easy.
