I had automatic payments set up and some lazy worthless employee didn’t do their job and I got a negative credit hit because of it. Don’t use these people. No wonder they have a 1.3 star review. Fingerhut and Web Bank you're all crooks. I hope this review causes you to lose customers.

I ordered 4 items! 1came to my address, 2 was delivered in Michigan and 1 was delivered in Iowa! It sure isn’t fun having to fight for a refund! Never again! They want me to sign an affidavit that states packages were delivered at correct address, which they were not!! I refuse to sign it!

In April of 2022 we tried to make a payment to fingerhut.com. Each time payment wouldn't process. At that same time I was battling some serious health issues. We could call or try to figure out what was wrong. July 2022 we received a card and letter stating congratulations to Fingerhut Fetti and your credit limit. We were confused and wondered what happened to fingerhut.com. August 2023 we got a bill from fingerhut.com with multiple late fees. I called ask them how can I be charged when they closed their company and reopen to another name.
I made a payment arrangement. We agreed to make three payments the debt would be resolved. After the third payment they said no that made the account to fingerhut.com current, why am I making an account that closed current. Due to my illness our finances depleted. Next thing I know we're in collection, there's no laws or regulations to these predatory collection agencies. Now my husband is being garnishment trilogy his base pay. This is so unfair and so wrong. Please avoid opening any account with fingerhut.com fingerc.

Personal Review of Fingerhut’s Business Model and Consumer Practices. I’ve maintained a Fingerhut account for several years, primarily to support my FICO score through a consistent credit line—currently set at $1,500, which hasn't changed despite my long-standing history with the company. While I rarely keep any of the merchandise I order, I intentionally make occasional purchases just to avoid having the account closed, as the company threatens to do if there's no activity within a few months. After ordering, I promptly return the item to maintain the account status without actually keeping their products.
From my experience, Fingerhut sells mostly outdated, discontinued, or closeout merchandise—items that wouldn’t meet the standards of most mainstream or up-to-date retailers. Their catalog and online store seem geared toward unloading low-quality inventory. I’ve bought a mattress and a pillow, both of which were disappointing in quality and comfort. Fingerhut seems to target lower-income consumers by offering credit accounts with low minimum payments, which make purchases seem affordable upfront. However, the real cost lies in the high-interest rates and inflated product pricing, making many items far more expensive than they would be elsewhere. It’s a model that preys on financial vulnerability, encouraging people to buy low-quality goods on credit while paying more in the long run.

I've been a loyal customer for years and spent thousands and due to auto pay I never missed a payment. My balance has been at $0 for a few months because I am working on lowering my debt. Since then I have been sent multiple things, credit increases and catalogs as they desperately tried to get me to buy something. Today I tried to make a purchase only to find out they canceled my account on me. I recently took out a loan for my mother buy a car after nearly being killed by a 16 year old running a stop sign. That loan made my score go down and it's already climbing again after just 2 months. I had a perfect history with them and I bet if I had any amount of my credit used they wouldn't have canceled it.
I was punished and had my account canceled because I wasn't keeping my credit limit maxed out after they were relentlessly trying to get me to charge something. I'm extremely disappointed with that type of behavior and it would have never happened to me if I just kept letting them overcharge me and make interest off my dept. Really classy FINGERHUT, and I will asking everyone I know who enjoy finger hut to cancel their accounts because of the way they treat loyal customers who have never had any issues with making my payments.

Just so others are aware that if you return an item for whatever reason you will be charged a ridiculous amount for its return. I returned an item for 133.00 and the charged me $47.00. They called it shipping charges. Never again.

I have continually called, wrote, email Fingerhut to update my balance to $0 with the credit bureau after paying off my account. They have yet to respond, or even make an attempt to process what’s needed to update my balance. Be careful dealing with this company.

They are either very naive, or just very evil. Their website is barely usable as far as trying to get basic account information, and when you call customer service, the reps are always extremely - if not annoyingly - polite, repeating everything three times, but they are in some other country and I can barely understand them. I am constantly being transferred to others, and no one seems trained to answer basic questions. I am disputing a $30 down payment for a defective item I returned and they are giving me all kinds of excuses, saying they are going to deduct this and that fee from the $30 until basically there's nothing left.
It's easy to see why people just order stuff and steal it, because they make it so easy, and also they basically steal from the down payment from the customer. Might as well shank them first. Will never order from any of these monthly- installment companies. Honestly don't know how they stay in business. They sell junk for three times what it's actually worth to dopes like me. Lesson learned.

Due to heath issues and hospital stays I'm behind in my payments. Recently they took 200 from my acct that I can't afford and didn't authorize. I called them and they actually reversed the charge! Extremely helpful. Thank you Fingerhut!

I have dealt with Fingerhut many years. This company is the worst to work with you when you have a hardship going on. They are real quick at serving a judgement against you. So if you ever want to get something my best advice is to NOT to deal with them period.

Fingerhut is a joke. Stay away. Placed order on 2-17-2025. Label created 2-18-2025. Today is 2-22-2025 item still not shipped. Customer service only gives you the runaround. 4 days and Fedex still not got my package. Will pay this account off and close the account cause this not the first time this has happened.

My recent order didn't include all the items I had ordered. I contacted customer service and their attitude is "Nah, according to our records everything was shipped" and I'm told to file a police report. I've stressed many, many times that there's an item missing from the order but still "Nah, are records blah blah blah". It's practically theft that I'm still having to pay for something I never got. They can't comprehend that 5 items were ordered but only 4 items arrived at my door. I wonder how many other people this has happened to. Avoid, avoid, avoid and after you avoid, avoid this company even more.

Each month I hope faithfully pay my bill to Fingerhut and I have paid hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars and my available Credit is only $210. I am so upset right now. They're Taking more money, then what I owe.. I am paying all this money and basically, there's only a small percentage going back into my available credit. I'm getting ripped off and I really don't appreciate it.

Fingerhut needs to be banned. It’s a corrupt system and it feeds off individuals who can’t apply for financial help through your normal sources. They triple the price of merchandise and your monthly payment is basically going towards interest. They offer you increases for their loan amount to keep you in debt or keep you owing. This has been the worst mistake of my life to get $900 in products. I will never order anything from this company again nor will I suggest anyone use this if you don’t have it save up to get it. This company is a major rip off.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my Mom. She had an account with them for years. Her bill was always paid on time. She used it every year to get Christmas. She ended up having to have knee surgery and then injured her back during physical therapy and is now 100% disabled. During the process of getting approved for her disability, she couldn't work and was living off her long-term disability insurance she had through her job, which was only a fraction of her normal salary. When this started, she called and tried to get them to work with her because at that time she couldn't pay the minimum amount due. They straight up said no. They didn't care her circumstances had changed. They told her basically that her balance would continue to grow because she was getting socked with a late fee every month because she wasn't paying the minimum amount due.
They recently decided, several years later, to take her to court. She had been paying them $25 a month and agreed in court to continue to do so, which she has. Today she got a letter informing her they had put a lien on her property, which is owned by the bank, mind you, with 5 years left on the mortgage, until the debt is paid in full. There was absolutely no need in doing that. They can't do anything with this property because the bank owns it. It's just a scare tactic and it got my almost 70-year-old mother all upset.
This company is the ABSOLUTE WORST. If you want to order from a catalog company with credit, pick a different one. DO NOT use Fingerhut. Not only is their business practices and customer service absolute garbage, their products are priced twice as high as you would pay for it anywhere else and the quality is crap. Even if it says you're buying something name brand, you can guarantee that if you put it up against the same product bought at, let's say Walmart, for example, the quality of the product itself and the materials used to make it are cheaper and lower quality. I've experienced it firsthand with toys my Mom got my kids for Christmas through them versus things of the same brand they got elsewhere. These people are crooks and should be put out of business.

Do not order from Fingerhut. It is a high priced, high interest ripoff. More than half of your monthly payment will go towards interest. Their product prices are inflated 40 % more than you can buy in a normal store.

I've been a member with them since Oct 2023, and every 3 months or so, they will cancel my recurring payment on their end. I will have to set it up again, AND when I do that, they will deny the payment regardless of me having funds in my account and will try saying it is my bank who is rejecting it, when it's on their end. I have recurring payments for other credit cards and they don't have an issue taking the money out of my account. Fingerhut won't even show on your statements late fee charges, as they hope you don't catch onto it. They've thankfully have given me all my late fees back, when I've called about this over the summer, but they keep trying to do it every few months.
Also, even if you don't sign up for it, they automatically enroll you in safeline. They owe me $100 something dollars to my account from safeline, which I hope they will reimburse me it. In the past when I called about it, they only gave me back $20! If I were you I would go and demand your money back from late fees and safeline! My husband signed up for a fingerhut card and never used it, and they also tried getting him with the safeline! Do NOT use this company. They are not worth the money. I'm going to keep a screenshot of my recurring payments being set up, and of them canceling it days before my payment is due (in hopes I don't see it).

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Markup on these items are insane. Compare the prices. There are A LOT cheaper ways to build your credit. I returned my item after researching, and finding out that it was a little more than double the cost compared to other places. I never even opened it and they literally charged me a late fee and a return fee totaling $64.00 for Nothing. The greed these types of companies operate on is sickening.

To begin with they wanna give me a $250 credit OK great, you have to pay a $30 down payment on anything and all I was getting was a $25 cologne set for my son just so I can get some credit established and then they want to charge $20 Shipping. Yeah this is a big joke and a waste of my time. Just do yourself a favor don’t even bother using Fingerhut.

This company sells junk at 3x the normal price, just because the consumer is trying to build credit. They entice you to keep spending more, as they will increase your limit to get a credit line increase. It's a vicious cycle. In 2022 they changed credit account companies, and closed my account, and reopened a new account thru Webb Bank. This hurt my score and all I had been working for by doing this.
I had the account paid off for some time when I decided to purchase some items. The thing I was most excited about, took a month for them to get picked up, and a while to reach my home, after many calls to customer service. This was a $900 outdoor sofa. By the time it arrived, summer and warm weather was over. When the driver brought the box to my door, I saw it wasn't what I ordered. It said it was dining table and chairs and had a glass top. I knew it wasn't my item, so I refused delivery. I had lots of interest on paying on something I never received.
When I went online to schedule my payments, this "quickpay" popped up. I never selected it because the payment method wasn't the correct one. When I scheduled more payments, I was mystified why the payment was so much. 3x the amount, but I still paid it. In December I received an alert that my credit report had a 60 late payment! I called the next business day to find out their system changed my payment method to an account I never used. I have been fighting with them ever since. Don't use them. This ruined my credit.

Never received a bill, they had access to my bank account, yet NEVER took a payment 😕 And how did I end up with ANOTHER account, I didn't even want the initial one. And the amount owed is literally a few dollars different 🙄🤔. I find that strange 🤔.

Please steer clear of Teleflora/Fingerhut combo. I ordered a bouquet for my Mom one week prior to selected delivery date. The day of, I receive a text saying my order was delivered. I also found it weird that every time I checked on delivery status it would route me to the AT&T login screen 🧐. I called my Mom and asked if she received a delivery. S/N she has ADT security and doorbell cam. I called Teleflora to inform them she hadn’t received a delivery. They offered to resend the next day and credit account $25 inconvenience fee. The next day I wait until 8 p.m. and you guessed it, still no delivery. I feel like I’ve been scammed! I’m beyond infuriated! Glad it wasn’t for a birthday, because the arrangement would have definitely been MIA. I’m beyond hurt and so disappointed 😔. Thanks for nothing Teleflora/Fingerhut.

They advertise as helping you build your credit. You set the account up for autopay so you don't have to worry about the payment. They go in and turn the autopay off on your account and then send you to collections without even notifying you the payment is due. I received the email stating my account was past due 2 weeks after they reported it to the credit bureau and dropped my credit 80 points. This is the 2nd time they have done this to me and will be the last. I will never use Fingerhut again.

I wish I could give zero stars because Fingerhut Fetti doesn’t even deserve one. I’ve been a customer for almost 6 months. I always pay early, and I pay more than the due amount. All of a sudden I get 64 points taken from TransUnion and 22 from Equifax, due to a “natural disaster” in my area. There was a recent hurricane, which didn’t even affect me or my assets in any way, so why on God's green wart am I being negatively impacted by this? What does a natural disaster have to do with credit anyway? Especially if you are making your payment on time and in good standing?
I am beyond furious about them doing this. It’s not just or right. I have worked so hard at building my credit and have been a faithful customer and they pull this. And when I called them they couldn’t even explain why they did this, just told me to write a letter of dispute and mail it. Which I have done and disputed with the two creditors that they reported to. I am awaiting a response. Please do not do any business with them if you are wanting to build your credit. They will destroy your hard work. :(

Christmas still showing not shipped, I called and now they are APOLOGIZING if course but it will be delivered by the 28th. On top of that now I have to wait 7-10 days before my deposit is refunded.. I received my partial order yesterday, was to consist of 2 lady tops and 1 long sleeve men's tshirt. However, I received woman underwear, and two other men shirts that I did not order. called returns...wasted my time, help for 27 minutes, finally a rep gets on the phone and she is completely clueless and puts me on hold, just to hang up..Good job Fingerhut!, called again, though I got a better rep, ("John") only to see my return label telling me to return the items I ordered...Hello, I never received them...I only joined Fingerhut to help my credit, but seriously, they need adequate employees to answer questions/concerns properly..Now my three kids won't get these gifts for Christmas...Thank you FHT

I will never order from this company again. Their software “glitched” and they put my billing and shipping address the same. Long story short my money will not be refunded for 5-7 days and package will be sent to an unsafe location that I went above and beyond to avoid. Customer service has no real control and says “sorry for frustration” and gives me info that isn’t listed on the site that would’ve prevented me from making the second order over the website. They do not care about their consumers. A week before Xmas and they double charge my card and I took the fall for THEIR mistake. Rep also refuses to put any other supervisor on the call. If possible DO NOT order from them.

Fingerhut scam ruined my credit! Went from a 702 to a 572 overnight. Apparently they add a remark to Transunion stating "if you have been impacted by Hurricane Milton, we are here to help", which by Transunion robots signals that you may have requested financial assistance regarding a natural disaster. Transunion stated that not all remarks are bad however lowered my score over 100 points when I haven't used the credit since 11/2023. Customer service was routed to the Philippines and so they hung up on me twice. Had to get a credit attorney to handle this and I still need a letter from Fingerhut stating I was not impacted by a natural disaster in order to prove to Transunion my dispute is valid! A nightmare!!! Do not order from them.

Scam Alert: Avoid FingerHut! I had a terrible experience with FingerHut, and I feel it's important to warn others. First off, they upcharge everything by at least three times the value, which feels like a scam. The prices are outrageous for low-quality products, and you're better off shopping anywhere else. To make matters worse, their credit reporting is completely inaccurate. I saw a 65-point drop in my credit score for no good reason, despite having a $300+ credit limit that I paid off on time, every time. I thought I was doing everything right, but their reporting has ruined my credit.
When I tried to close my account, I was told I couldn't, even though I can still log in and make purchases. I don’t understand how they claim it’s closed when I’m still able to access my account. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of FingerHut. Their business practices are shady, and they’ve damaged my credit for no reason. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Since Fingerhut took over Fingerhut Advantage they Now report on my credit that I only been with them for 2 years, this is what they’re Web Bank reports on ALL 3 Bureaus…. How Insulting this is for me…for I have bought several items from these people. They refuse to report I’ve been with them for 7 years!!!! They’re LYing about my credit age and won’t rectify it…. They refuse!!!! Knowing I’ve been with them 7 years, they even sent me a complimentary statement saying I am a loyal customer and Fingerhut Refuses to report the Truth…. I bought only a small TV and couch equaling about 500 and then I was laid off and now owed 1700 after just a few months! Fingerhut is messing with me so bad. I am taking pictures of everything and recording all the calls as well on my end because they are trying to really screw me. I ordered 3 jewelry items. 2 necklaces as their own and then a necklace and a bracelet set. Tell me how they're charging me over $100 for 4 different items WHEN one was a set. I made a payment in October 24. My first payment wasn't due until November 8th 24. I didn't make my November until November 14 and then DOUBLED my monthly fee from $33 to $64. My grandma total was $429.10. I said they aren't going to do me like that and I paid what they said I owed in full.
I looked today and it said I owed them $33 on December 9th and I just checked right now and now I owe them $67.98. They are literally messing with me after they scammed me out of fake jewelry. I am taking notes of everything cause I've already dealt with all 3 credit bureaus and I've got the letters started. Just collecting as much information as I need to because these people are terrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. I have a feeling my credit score is going to drop drastically even though they've been paid off. I'll report more...

You can't pay off with such high interest rates. You have to dubbed your payments or just pay it off all at once. Customer service is ok. But it is all a pian. If something gets damage in transit there is all kinds of loops you have to jump through to get the money credited back to your account.

This company is a scam all the way around. They scam you on the product you order. They sent me fake jewelry and told me if I returned it I wouldn't get a full refund even though I tried returning it the same day I received the order. THEY CHARGE A $33 late fee if you're 4 days late on your bill regardless of the dates you get paid. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They will destroy your credit and send fake or knock off products.

The order took forever to come and when it did I was feeling a little under the weather and did not open until today 11/06/2024 and find a HUGE dent in it. Which you have to pay for shipping coming and going. I been a loyal customer since 2005. I will NEVER use Fingerhut again if they don’t make this right.

I've used Fingerhut now for about a year year and a half, I think Fingerhut is a mistake to use unless there's something that you really have to have that you can't afford to buy at that moment. Purchasing items from Fingerhut you pay more money for them than you would at a regular store. I recently compared crock pots and Fingerhut how to slow cooker for $89 and Walmart had the same slow cooker for $49.
I'm also kind of frustrated with them currently because I accidentally fell asleep making a payment and I made a huge overpayment. I've called them about that and ask them to repay the amount of money that I didn't mean to pay and of course I owe that money to them so they have told me that their policy is 30 days refund on that. But it's still in the deciding process of whether or not they'll refund it to me or not my intended payment was to be $150 the payment I made was for $1,460 something dollars. It was quite discouraging. It was part of my rent money and part of groceries and gas for the rest of the month.
I understand that it was my fault that I must have somehow pushed the wrong button or something. However what bothers me about it is that inconsistency in customer service and the knowledge that's there. One person told me that I their policy was to refund money within 3 to 5 business days and other people have told me it could be up to 30 days and so I just feel like there's a lot of inconsistency in answers and knowledge and I find that discouraging.

This company is out to put you in debt. I have bought things on Finger Fetti and later looked at the items on Amazon half the price. They have lowered my credit middle of nowhere. Also I have returned a pair of boots come to find out that my credit doesn't get replace till after 2 billing cycles. Every time I talk to customer service I can barely understand them at all due to their heavy ** accent and they have never once been able to help me with my issues. I have had way too many issues with this company. Not a good company to build your credit.. Don't harm yourself by getting in debt with these thieves.

These people are so quick to take your money but very slow to ship out product. The war will be over in Ukraine before you see your product. I ordered products from China that was shipped faster. Fingerhut is good for one thing. Rebuilding your credit. They know that they are the only company giving people with terrible credit, a line of credit with no annual fee so they take advantage of it. Everything cost twice what it should. Then at check out the shipping cost could give you a heart attack. Then to top it of the quality is worse than Temu. This is not an exaggeration, Temu is way better quality for 1/20th the cost.
It gets better though ... Customer service is also completely terrible. I paid over $100 for beads, socks and a blanket for Christmas gifts (yes ridiculous) but they sent the wrong thing. Their solution is to pay to ship it back (yes after already paying the crazy high shipping) and wait for the correct item that could take months to receive the item, process the exchange and reship the correct item! Obviously I wasn't very happy so the rep set the phone down but did not disconnect the call so I could not do the satisfaction survey after the call! If I could give zero stars I would.

Insurance for tv's/any product with a screen crack are not covered under the warranty they provide at their extra cost. Only if something fails with the product (normal wear and tear) and not screen damage so I wouldn't purchase the warranty unless that's all you want you want covered. Also all they seem to do is give you the runaround on getting this fixed. Please make sure the warranty has HDH coverage before purchasing a screened item or you're just wasting extra money for something the warranty won't cover.

I ordered a shoe size 9, they sent a 6. I returned the shoes and a bra... The very first order from them. With the return shipping label they sent me. They credited the shoes, not the bra and have been charging me late fees and the cost of the bra. I have tried to resolve this issue them. I filled out their affidavit. Now they tell me I have to have a return receipt. I've explained there is no return receipt... They emailed me the shipping label. Do not get credit with this company! I had fraudulent activity on my debit card and missed one payment because I had to switch debit cards, and instead of reaching out to me to say, "Hey we think you forgot something. Could you please update your card with us." No!!! They reported me to the credit agency, and my credit went down 87 points. Instead of reaching out to their loyal customers that have been with them for years and never missed a payment, always paid on time, they just screw them. I have faithfully paid by autopay to my Fingerhut account. Because I do not get paid until the 4th of the month I am charged $41.00 late fee. I did not know this until I was looking into my payoff balance and noticed for 12 months I was charged $41.00 late fee. I called and of course got a person on the phone that could not barely speak English and would not get her supervisor when I ask for supervisor. $41.00 x 12 = $492.00 for late fees on an account that was autopay. You would think after couple of months someone from Fingerhut would notify me of late payments but never received a phone call nor email. This company needs to be shut down, put out of business for stealing from people.

To everyone who is a customer of FINGERHUT!!! I want to explain EVERYONE who has made a complaint about the customer service department. Is absolutely 100% correct. We are force to deal with people who are from another country. Trying to explain our personal account information to people who are not Americans!! I'm writing to the BBB. I returned a couple of items back July 2024. I was not refunded the full amount. I was doubled charged for shipping. On top of all that, I had late fees and interest rates added to my account. In 1.5 months all these charges added to my bill.
I called customer service and fought with some guy I could not understand and my speaking was delayed. It's unfortunate that I have to close my account. I have been shopping with Fingerhut for years. Now, they make it so difficult, throw all these extra charges, to buy items that are completely over priced. Fingerhut use be a great place to shop for certain items. I will no longer buy from this company again!!! I have read quite a few reviews about everyone's encounter with Fingerhut and each situation. I thinks it's terrible!!

I purchased a class ring from Fingerhut for my wife and it caused a severe allergic reaction to her finger. I sent back the ring a month ago and still haven't gotten my refund. This company is a scam. Do not order anything from here. First problem was I ordered something and they charged my card twice. I was thinking they would return my money back. But they didn’t. Now later today I checked status of my order and it says canceled?? I called and they said they canceled my order because “suspicious activity“ so they said to re order the item again. And I said would it charge me again? And they said yes I would have to pay again. And on top of that I never got my money back for the accidental charge. This is the absolute worst, most shady company ever. I have been making monthly payments on my account every month for over a year. They marked my $59 payment “late” every month with a late fee of $40 and a $20 interest fee — which completely canceled out what I have paid. My account has tripled since I opened it. Their excuse was my automatic payment was set up 2 days after the payment due date and that I should read their terms and conditions. “They do not give a grace period.” They are the ones that helped me set up my automatic payment!!! Absolutely robbery! Meanwhile, the people who handle the accounts do not speak clear English and you cannot get to a reasonable person to discuss the matter. Zero star rating.

I would give no stars but Fingerhut is a horrible company who tries to go after people who have had their personal information compromised and tries to sue them for an account they never opened. My father is 74 years old and this lady from some law firm calls my number. I call back and it says the number I’m calling does not exist so I try it from a wifi number and it goes thru. She starts saying Fingerhut has done their investigation very well and are suing my father.
If they did their due diligence they would of had the correct address that he lived at before. She then says, “No that’s not true. He lived there.” How you going to tell me where my father lived? He has lived with me the past ten years and he never got Fingerhut and for you to call my phone releasing what you say personal information about my father to me without his consent maybe you should look into a different job ‘cause you're no good at being a lawyer. Fingerhut are crooks who like to sell items at high prices that are way more than what the item actually cost. They need to be put out of business. They’re no good.

This company is a complete rip off. I called 5 days after my payment date because I changed debit card information and they tried to have me pay double the amount and it wasn’t for the month before because I paid it, it was for the month ahead. Then they put on my credit report that I am 30 days late which is lying. They have no grace period at all. So now I have had this account for years and they keep you stuck and the payments are higher and higher, they never go down so you can’t pay it off. I just hung up with a representative and told him this company is a rip off. Even if they don’t have a grace period it should not affect my credit score. 30 days late I can see but 5 days it should not go on my credit report. I’m getting away from this company and paying them off. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM FINGERHUT.

Do not under any circumstance purchase mattress toppers. I ordered one and opened box about a month later. Woke up the next morning with bites everywhere. Contacted @Fingerhut by email with photos but I told no refund because I didn't send it back. I'm sorry but why would I try to box it back up and send back and it's full of bedbugs plus I immediately burned it. Purchased new mattress, sprayed room, vacuum and mopped the floor to get rid of them. Photos of my bits were ignored and my complaint ignored.

I purchased 3 rugs that matched for my living room. There are no kids, pets, & etc. walking on the rugs. There is only 1 person living in the house. The rugs fell apart. I started six months before the year end date was up and wrote letters called sent pictures and no one would respond until after July 31 when the year was up and now they’re telling me they can’t do anything about it because the year was up on July 31.
My opinion, I would boycott the store and not buy anything. It is ridiculous. How their customer services yes I bought it for the convenience of making the payment on it at the time, but I will never ever buy anything from this company again and I advise other people stay clear because they will rip you off, and they will not compensate you for damages of a product that you purchased that didn’t even last a year they didn’t even offer me a small discount. Nothing they offer to remove a late fee. Wow please don’t buy from this company. Run in the other direction.

Everything is over the price. If you compare the prices from other stores you're paying $90+ more on this app. Yes I understand it's credit but you're overcharging for everything. I got my husband some Ariat jeans for almost $100. Other stores had them for $45. I also got myself a pair of New Balance for $120 other stores had them for $60. I was locked out of my Fingerhut account in early 2021. I called. Filed complaints and they never had the security dept call me to regain access. I complained to Web Bank the issuer of the account. They did nothing. Two years and a few months goes by and I see on my credit report fingerhut for over 1000 dollars. My account last I seen was capped at 300 and I had less than 75 dollars on it. I never got a statement mailed to me and never a phone call. They refuse to provide statements of the account for the months. I was unable to order or look at my account.
The ordeal feels like someone working at Fingerhut did something. I can't give the details as I and the person that did this would know. The tracking for the orders under my account now that I was able to get in all say pending pickup from warehouse. I asked Fingerhut about this. They won't reply. How can they have something on my credit that I never ordered. I never got a item and they're unwilling to help me with the issue. Scam.

I received a letter in the mail saying they will start charging customers $1.99 for receiving a paper bill unless you request to get bills electronically..I received info from FINGERHUT at 10 times instructing how to make the change..THE site will not make the change, and when you call them, they say that can't help me.. Horrible customer service. I had 2 orders placed that I never received. Fingerhut is aware. They put my account in collections without helping me and I now must report it to TransUnion. I am told I need an affidavit but I spoke to a police officer that let me know he could take the report and give me a report number. This is not good enough for them!

The prices in catalog are horrible and way inflated. A total rip off. I could not find one thing on there that was decent at a fair price. Also found that the price inventory was very outdated. When I wasn’t able to figure anything they closed my account without any warning and it dropped my credit score 48 points. Fingerhut customer service is abhorrent. I recently made a purchase and the address was wrong. I contacted the company the same day. Hours before the label was issued to correct the error. No response, I tried calling FedEx to change the address and was told that I the purchaser was unable to do it. That Fingerhut would have to contact them. I called them back and informed them what FedEx said and was promptly hung up on. I called again and asked for a supervisor who told me that they were unable to do anything so now I have a package arriving that I can’t cancel and a delivery that’s proceeding to a address I can’t get to and I’ve already paid.

I am wondering if anyone else has been locked out of their Fingerhut account and when you asked for their help did they do nothing. Have you gotten back in to find a huge amount charged during the time you could not access your account? In my case 2.5 years and a 1000 dollar bill. This has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. Fingerhut has giving stress issues. I purchased a xbox controller paid $100 and an extra $20 for the insurance with Asurion finger hut esp insurance... The item was defected so I call customer service and they tell me to submit a receipt.. I did that and they continue to say it's not the right receipt. So I call finger hut and as for a a bill to be sent to my house by mail , so I submit that and they tell me that's not what I need, so I call fingethut and they tell me they will send me a detailed receipt to my email and that's not it either. So I call finger hut again and they tell me to go to my account and screen shot account purchase history and I submit that and that's not the one. 4 months later and still no response and no help. They just keep denying me even tho they charged me for the insurance.. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.....not worth it. I called in upset because they continue to act like they are going to help me but then hang up on me.. I was hung up like 15 times one day..

But then what they failed to tell us that they was switching to Fingerhut Fetti and that we be responsible for making payment for Fingerhut and Fingerhut Fetti and this was all while covid was going on. I couldn't afford 2 payments on a fixed income at the time. So I just stopped paying. They weren't even legally allowed to take any payments during covid. So I will be filling a class action.

IN ADDITION TO 29% interest rate THE PRICES ARE TOTALLY INSANE. THE SHIPPING price OF ANYTHING you buy no matter how small is $17 but if item is “oversized” all bets are off. Product will be dumped on curb near your house even if raining. You will have a nightmare trying to return large items. This company should be fined and closed down for its predatory behaviors. Customer service none. Deals none. Sneaky charges yes. False advertising yes as you cannot build credit by charging and charging more to get higher limits so they are deceitful. FingerHut is GARBAGE!!! I open an account with them to rebuild my credit, my credit was climbing nicely. Didn't want nor need any of their cheap overly expensive items. So I didn't use the account. These idiots made my credit drop 14 points on one and 9 points on the other and then going to tell me after reevaluating your credit it was too low to continue to have an account with us (as if this was American Express). How is a 580 credit score too damn low for a credit card that's for BAD CREDIT?!!!! When there's no specific minimum score to obtain an account. I'll be contacting an attorney. So because I wasn't spending money with these dirtbags they turn around and tarnish for credit report even MORE!!! Wish there was a way to not give any stars, they deserve negative 5 stars.

I ordered from them then less than 24 hour I tried to cancel the order. They refused to cancel the order. Told me it was shipped. They lied. I contacted FEDEX, they told me all they had was the label to pick up the item not the item and all Fingerhut had to do was call and cancel the pickup at no charge to them. I called 4 times, emailed them numerous times to cancel the orders. They still refused to cancel the order. I told them that I would refuse the order nor would I be paying shipping fees for both ways from a order that I have tried to cancel numerous times.

I purchased a very expensive ankermake m5 3d printer from Fingerhut in December 2023 with an extended service plan. In the first week of March 2024 it broke down so I contacted fingerhut to have the machine either repaired or replaced seeing that is was still under warranty. So far fingerhut and ankermake have asked for proof of purchase, serial number, pic of the shipping box etc. So far both companies claim they have no record of my purchase and are trying to get me to diagnose and repair the machine myself which would negate the remaining 8 months warranty. I've explained I had a stroke not long ago and could not do their job if I wanted to. Ankermake claims they are sending a replacement extruder for the machine but not sure why. So far neither company is cooperating in a timely manner to resolve this problem and fingerhut has even sent an email stating they are closing their involvement in the matter.

I have been charged every month since 2018 for their program "SAFELINE" on top of their hefty interest rate- it is now 2024 so you can do the math of how much money they charged me. I wasn't aware of the charged. I just figured that was a fee associated with their interest rate. I have been trying to get my money back for 3 weeks - they constantly say they have to “escalate it further to their resolutions team.” Never heard back from them.
Got transferred to the “supervisor.” He wasn’t able to assist me he had to transfer it to the resolutions team” sounds like this “team“ doesn’t really exist. They're robbing people in broad daylight. This is a joke. Don’t worry I will get my money back, but I’ll be sure to expose them so no one ever gets scammed again. I placed an order with Finger Hut for a Ninja Blender in 2021- They closed I guess my original account and had me paying through the Finger Hut Advantage account that I know I didn't sign up for. Well, 3 years later I am still paying on a blender that cost me 135.00 in 2021. The rep. said it was late fees that expended the payoff date, when the pay off date should've been 7-8 months.

This company is ok for establishing credit. The biggest downsides are the prices are at least 1/3 higher than anywhere else, then you add the interest so a product ends up costing 2x as much. Then their customer service policies are nothing but annoying. Constant emails to update your information with the underlying reason of more annoying unwanted contacts. There are much better ways to rebuild or establish credit. I am going to pick out a product at random. Samsung 75 inch TV - Fingerhut "sale" price 999.00 - regular price 1149.00 (plus interest and VERY HIGH shipping charges). Exact same TV other stores - sale price 599.00 - regular price 699.00.

I had a Fingerhut account with the old owners before it was sold. Before it was sold I had a zero balance. Afterwards I needed up owing them $1805!!! I kept asking them how did my account end with this balance then I received a two slice toaster. Very very cheap looking. I never ordered it being I had a very good 4 slice toaster. I opened the package and it was someone else name on it and they took my order which cost far more than the toaster. Well the people kept my order, never returned it and I located them and called them. They were **. The lady said she told me she was going to send it back. Anyway I called Fingerhut and told them what happened. Gave them the lady telephone number and address they kept telling me I owe them. So after unsuccessfully resolving this matter they stopped answering my calls.
Every time I tried to call the calls would not go through to customer service. I was calling India. Like a call center in India but more like someone’s house because I kept hearing dogs in the background when they were answering. I get a letter in the mail stating they tried to sue me for Urbana. It is still in my credit. Now at this time I can sue all three credit bureaus because I’ve told them what happened. The case was dismissed in court but it’s still in my credit. I’m so mad. I disputed this several times and they would not take this off my credit report. Terrible awful. It’s not the same Fingerhut it use to be back in the ‘80’s.

I opened the Fingerhut account to help in the credit rebuilding process. I bought some outdoor decor and when it showed up it was extremely lightweight plastic that would not survive one summer outside. So I returned it and decided to look for something else. It took almost 2 weeks for the credit to be put back on my account and even when it was they charged me $30 for the return. So now I have to pay $30 for something I didn't even get. I'll pay it then close the account and tell everyone who will listen to never use them.

Several years ago I purchased from Fingerhut and also purchased the safeline ins. I was put off work for several months due to a health issue. I contacted Fingerhut and asked them to activate my safeline due to no income. I was told to fill out a form, I did so and faxed plus mailed hard copy. I ended up doing this 4 or 5 times as they continued to tell me to fill out the form even though I had already done so. Over quite some time they continued to send me bills with late fees and such added on. I continued to let them know I would only pay what I originally had left on my bill as I paid for the special insurance to protect me during those months off from work.
I ended up getting papers from a court stating that the case had gone to court and I now owe fees on top of the 800 and more they took me to court for. I only owed approximately 400 left of my bill to them. I lost my state taxes this year because of this. I've never purchased from them again and never will. Fingerhut and Safeline are a travesty. I work Hard for my money and every year my returns go towards bills and necessities. Ugh!!

This place is horrible. I have been arguing with them back and forth for a month now. When I got the account, I was using a PO BOX. I didn’t even have a shipping address. They refuse to let me add one, and they put my account on hold, till I show them a bill with my entire name on it. I sent them my ID, my Social (last 4) and my electric bill, which most know it doesn’t include your full name on it. I said “I’m not giving you my first born”. To top it off, they lost my information 3 times, and then expect me to send it AGAIN through an email they hadn’t received it through the 3 previous times. I hate this company, and I do mean hate. This company is not worth the stress and aggravation. There are others out there that aren’t so petty. Avoid the third world companies. They aren’t worth it! They deserve ZERO stars. Horrible customer service, even when you go higher up the food chain.

I've called Fingerhut 4 times. They say they understand but they're reporting false information to my credit file.. They said I ordered things and I've never ordered anything from Fingerhut. The interest rate is too high! I would never do this! I can get a loan and buy something before I do this! I've spoke to them. They say 15 days and before the 15 days is up they've already made their decision saying the same thing.. It's sad they're ruining my credit for no apparent reason... and they say oh there's nothing I can do. I NEVER ORDERED FROM FINGERHUT THOUGH SO WHAT do I need to do? Go to the news or something. I order a gaming system for my grandson for Xmas. For one it went to the wrong address and they told me it was the right address wrong zip code. It should of went to Yoder Wyo instead went to Gillette Wyo and they would not do nothing about it. Told me to file a police report plus their prices are way high. Got the same gaming system from amazon way cheaper. So I still have to pay on my account. They will not refund me and also rude on the phone so I will close my account after this.

I've had an account for years, recently wanted to pay off the entire amount of almost $1200. Sent the payment in by cashier's check. Three weeks later, still not reflecting on my account. Spent 45 minutes on the 0hone with 2 different agents. Why is having an agent who understands you a problem? Keeps asking the same question. Where did I mail payment from, apparently I don't know what from means because he kept telling me they don't have an address for that location to make payments. After 30 minutes of going back and forth about "from" and what website I used to pay, not sure how you use a website to pay when we are discussing how I MAILED it in. I gave up. Called the next day, same scenario but a different low IQ! Funny how all of a sudden my payoff isn't found but every other payment is. Right, so I can be charged another month of interest!

I placed an order for curtains. They were left in my doorstep where anyone walking by can grab them. They had me fill out an affidavit and return it. Which I don’t understand, because it was the same outcome from when I spoke to them. They won’t give me a refund or send me another set. They said I have to go get a police report and then maybe they can help me. I live in a neighborhood with a high crime rate. There is no way I’m going to the police district taking up their time over missing curtains. I will never order from them again.

Bought a headboard that was cloth and buttons. Underneath the buttons were bed bugs. They wanted me to box it up and send it back on my own dime! I refused so they sent someone to pick it up. Ordered a Samsung cell phone back in May for a Christmas gift to my wife. Her phone died so I gave her the new one early. Went to AT&T and a bunch of other cell companies and every one of them say the phone can't be activated due to it being locked. The description of the phone clearly states that it's unlocked. Emailed Fingerhut with no response back other than a generic email about the manufacturer warranty. I'm now out $200 for a phone that can only be used with wifi.

I have been calling them to solve the issue with a full refund but all they want to do is take late fees away because I am not paying for fake products. They charged me double than the regular price. I'm very disappointed the way they won't do anything to take care of my issue as a consumer. Hope they understand that full refund would make me happy for fake products. Bought a laptop for my 18 year old daughter. Paid double maybe more for it. The screen separated from the keyboard in two weeks so I called them and they said it was outside the return policy but the manufacturer may be able to help me. Called them 100 times. Never able to get through due to high call volume. They are crooks who know once you purchase you're stuck because of the way they report to the credit bureau. I'm paying 40 bucks a month for only to keep my credit score intact. Do not buy from these people. You will be disappointed, mad and stuck.

Fed Ex delivered my package to the front of my house & not the designated secure location. I filled out an affidavit and was told that I am still responsible for the item. Despite the fact the delivery picture shows the item in the wide open waiting for anyone who walks by to take it. Then if you don't see a correspondence that they are opening an additional account without your approval, it is your fault if you don't pay it. I received my TV on 10/26...I was out of town until the 29th..very happy to get my tv plugged it up it was broken I called Fingerhut right away and they said FedEx will pick it up within 3 days and I will get a replacement. STILL no results yet. I have emailed and talked to them NUMEROUS TIMES and they still telling me the same thing so I asked to be sent a new TV or my money with no good results. It's RIDICULOUS. On November 13th of 2023 I was accused of fraud. They canceled my whole order and refused to send it out. They claim that they called me but my cell phone was busy and my phone is never busy it goes straight to voicemail or call waiting. Customer service rep Royale closed my account. I tried to order more stuff for Christmas and they said that my account was closed. I talked to them today November 17th of 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:47 p.m. They refused to open my account until I pay in full 1098.37.
I've had my account open since 2021 never been late for any reason. And they refuse to open my account because they claim that I closed it and I committed fraud. Stay away from this company seriously. They lie. And they send you orders that you did not order and refuse to reship them back. They charge you shipping and shipping and handling. So I talked to a supervisor and he also accused me of fraud. Why would I close my account when I'm placing an order and they said I closed it. And is refusing to reopen it.

I placed a order on Oct 30th, my item was supposed to arrive on the 9th. Couple days after purchase. I received a status on my package stating unable to deliver under this tracking number. So I called FedEx, said it was lost then I called the shipper, they said that fedex created a new label and that there still sending that it's going to arrive on the 9th. Mind you I just got done talking to fedex, they said it's lost and to tell shipper file a claim.
Today is the 10th I called Fingerhut 5 different times explaining it's lost but they're so delusional they keep telling me give it 5 more days but I don't want to keep waiting and I don't want it anymore saying they can't refund me to call FedEx and to cancel my order. But how can I if it's Lost! So they don't want to refund. Won't ever purchase from here ever again. 5/20/2023 I purchased ebike model (E4860) for $800 with the company FingerHut and a year warranty with the manufacturer. Around three weeks later somehow the ebike gearbox broke off into the back wheel causing alot of damage. I called 800-872-2453 about getting replacement parts and was sent the wrong parts three times before getting one of the many parts needed after the fifth time. I called and emailed them four months ago because the bike completely stopped working. I took the bike to the nearest bike shop in Mississippi and I was told that the manufacturer had poorly built my bike. I contacted them about my bike being replaced and they refused to fulfill my warranty or to send any more parts. I purchased a year service warranty and had to pay for it. I expected to continue using my ebike because I make $700 a weekly from delivering. I wanted to leave this review so you may know how disappointed I am at Huffy Bikes and Fingerhut.

I had placed an order for a Nintedo Switch bundle back in April 2023 from Fingerhut. They sent it to a wrong address out of state. I contacted them to inform them that they have sent it to the wrong address. They told me they can’t do anything about this and that I should go to NC and pick it up myself. I live in Ohio. I bought this JBL soundbar from Fingerhut. Is connected via HDMI cable. Every time I turn on my TV it's supposed to sync and turn on with the TV. It never does. It takes about 5 or 10 minutes to do so. Talk but I would have to buy the box myself. It's about 12 or 15 dollars which is ridiculous. This soundbar cost 275 when I can get it from Walmart for about $160. Fingerhut totally stinks. Customer service sucks. You can't understand the word the other people are saying. I'm simply throwing this in the garbage and eating the money.

I ordered a quilt and sheets, the Quilt came packed nicely in a box and plastic but smelled horrible like mildew. The sheet set came a few days later. They were supposed to be polar white and they have stains on them and fuzz balls and black hairs from a human all over them. There are yellow stains throughout. Disgusting. I'm supposed to pay 200$ for this stuff. I've emailed them and have had no reply at all. Never order from Fingerhut.

So I placed an order and scheduled the down payment to be paid 3 days later. I cancelled the order on the same day that I placed it. Keep in mind this was 3 days before scheduled down payment. Got a confirmation that the order was cancelled, also states it was cancelled on my Fingerhut account page. They went ahead and took the down payment from my checking account anyway. Called to complain and asked for a refund and was given ridiculous excuses as to why they went ahead and took my money. They say they are holding my money for future purchases even though I told them I would never order anything from them again!!
Was told then that they would reverse the transaction and return the money to my checking account as soon as it posted. Well it posted 2 days ago and still they are holding my money. My Fingerhut account page still says that I have a credit. Emailed them and no response, called again today and this time I'm told they will mail me a check for my refund. Will take 7-10 days. Asked why I was lied to the first time I called, and she couldn't give me an answer. Customer service reps are foreign and don't speak or comprehend English very well. I thought Fingerhut was a legit American business!!

Three days ago I purchased a SonicCare electric toothbrush for $69.99. The order was shipped yesterday. Today I received an email that the same item was now on sale for $56.99. I emailed Customer Service asking for a refund or store credit for the price difference, and they declined my request! I know they have "prices subject to change" on their website, but so do most retailers, who will usually honor the refund request in the spirit of good customer service. Not Fingerhut. I may just return the item. It's just the principle of the whole matter. I'm disappointed.

I did not get the bookshelves I ordered. The color was completely wrong. The cost of the shelves were $258 a piece and I bought 2. It says made of BIRCH WOOD. It is particle board. I cannot get anyone to return my email to make this right. Now I'm stuck with 6 months of payments for something that does not match the rest of my furniture. I bought a Toshiba Bluetooth boombox in May 2023. In June 2023 it stop working. I have been calling for weeks asking for help. They refer me to manufacturer for warranty. I have yet to get any help or anyone to call me or answer my email. But if I stop paying for It goes on my credit. I paid over $200 to have radio for 3 weeks. I have over 20 times and stayed on the phone each time for 1 hour and nobody has been able to help. I given a email to a Mr ** at the manufacturer warranty department. My experience with Finger Hut/ Fetti has been horrible. I bought an area rug. They sent the wrong color because the rug I wanted was out of stock. Months later I opened the rug to put down only to realize it was the wrong color. I called to let them know the rug they sent was wrong. She said, "I know it’s the only color we had so we sent it to you." I requested that I want to send it back, she said they couldn’t accept it back nor give me my money back so I advised you to go to a store that returns their merchandise. I paid the account before time, one rep told me it would be for the payment that was coming up. They marked me as being late. So again I advised you to go into a store where you can speak to a live person.

I made a mistake of making like 1400 purchases 12 years ago that have probably cost me 5000 dollars to pay off. Their site doesn't show what you are paying or their charges. On a 13.00 missed payment account was down to 58 dollars that I thought I paid but guess I forgot was charged a 40 dollar late fee. Cut off my credit that I have not used in 8 years.

What a serious mistake, this company charge high prices and high interest and fees on unsolicited services like Safeline, charging customers monthly fees in service I never accept, then when I call to cancel they open a long way refund "Investigation". My Husband & I open an account with Fingerhut. We got our customer ID numbers and everything and when we went to log into our accounts, it won’t let us so I called Fingerhut & they asking for my social and I gave it to them and she came back and told me that I gave her the wrong social. So I explain to her that I did not and that that is my correct Social Security number. She put me on hold like 10 different times because she couldn’t get it to go through her system and she was sending it to the fraud department, so when my husband tried to log into his account, it done the same exact thing and he called and he’s going through the same thing where they told him that his security number is wrong also and that they’re turning it over to the fraud department.
This makes absolutely no sense. Has anyone else had this problem? & Also I have tried to contact the Fraud department but No One will call Me back or Email me back. This whole situation is just Weird & We have Never had this Problem before. I’m just waiting to know if Anyone else has had this Problem with Fingerhut??

This company should be have to be CLOSED! I paid off the Advantage account (it was 126.00). The stated the Credit Grantor closed the account. That isn't true. It was closed because I paid it off. They opened the WEBBANK account automatically to cover a payment on my FingerHut Fetti account. The payment was made on Fetti account so they DOUBLE it me. My me paying off the 126.00. I closed the account and they said they closed it. It affected my credit by -55. I can't get anyone to help. All they do is read off a card. HORRIBLE COMPANY! If I could go to their company office I would. I can find it anywhere!

I have been a loyal and faithful customer for many years. My Advantage account was always current and I have made many orders. Recently Fingerhut added a new account called "Fetti Account" that I did not ask for. It was very confusing as the accounts were switched back and forth. I ordered two items which were added to the new Fetti Account. Both items were returned because they were not good quality as I expected for the price. One was a gas powered Generator that oil leaked out of the bottom of it the first time I started it and it was very hard to get started. I called Fingerhut to let them know that I am returning both products and why. I told them I can't afford to pay the return shipping as it would be expensive to ship the Generator back to them. I have copies of the email where they confirmed they will ship out postage paid return labels to me.
I returned the items as planned, and they credited the price of the items back to my account which should have cleared the Fetti Account and nothing owed. However, I kept seeing a balance owed of $161.84. I sent several emails and called customer service several times and asked them to correct this because I do not owe except $98.41 on the Advantage account, and that the items were returned. Fingerhut continued to say that if it says I owe 2 accounts then I do. They said that I owed the $161 for shipping and because of the reason I returned the items! Seriously! They were not good quality at all and the generator was leaking oil and would not start!
I got so frustrated with them the other day that I told them that I will never order from them again. I requested that they close my account. I told them I will pay the $98.41 that I owe on the Advantage account but I will not pay the Fetti account because I do not owe them for that! I logged onto my online account today to see if they had canceled my account as I requested and they have NOT closed either account, however they made the fetti account the primary one that I see when I log into my account. This is wrong on so so many levels! Fingerhut get it right or you will be losing many customers I am sure! I have copies of the emails....

I was a loyal customer for 13 years. Paid them off every order. Over 5k in orders always paid. Then they switch over to Fetti and this new company I was automatically approved!!!! Had almost 3k in credit and had a good score to support having that approval. Then I didn't order anything for a short while because I was busy paying off the advantage. So yeah I was working hard on my credit for a home loan. This sorry company closed my Fetti account without a word until After it was done. This caused my credit to drop 32 pts. That is so dirty as nothing changed except that my credit had improved and I had not ordered anything yet!!!!

Well they close your account if you don't keep charging it up hurting your credit. Fingerhut owes me 35 dollars and keep saying the money is coming and has been sent. First lady said it was going back to my bank account electronically. After 11 days still no refund. Second lady said they sent a check after a half hour on the phone and me giving the same information as I gave the first lady. I was ask to be put on hold and then I was hung up on. After the 5 minutes of pushing buttons they ask for the same information I had given them twice. It's clear neither of the reps did anything but make up a story to get me off of the phone. Now after saying the money was sent to me they have to put in a request to send me my money. Clearly not a company that values customers and tells you untruths at every turn. They sent me the wrong shoes and the wrong size so I returned it and got my money back. All they do every month is send me a notice that if I don't buy something they will cancel my service. I had lost my job and Christmas was coming. They kept sending me books to use the Freddy card, the credit card to order so I placed a big order close to $1,000 for Christmas gifts. My granddaughter wanted a certain color dip polish. They shorted me it would be here before Christmas and it was but it was the wrong color. Christmas came and went. She was very upset she didn't get the dip color polish that she wanted. I assured her they were sending the right one are we ordered it second time wrong, third time wrong. I had to finally go out and spend triple in the mall to get the colors that she wanted. I will never order from them again. And to be honest I don't even want to pay them for the stuff I did get. But it will only affect my credit. If you're out there and want to order from Fingerhut do not. They are the worst company. I have had my account at Fingerhut for 3 years and 4 months and have never made a late payment! I get offers to increase my credit often but never use it. This Christmas my sister asked me to buy her daughter a computer on it for her gift so I called Fingerhut and spoke to a customer service agent, a nice gentleman to make sure it would process okay since we were in different states. He assured me it would since I gave her all of my information to do this. I have attached proof that on December 14 I had available credit of $1,638.00 which was a temporary increased that I had to use by that day. It was rejected so I called customer service back. He sent me an email verifying the order was processed. I assumed all was in order and went about my life.
My sister calls me crying on Christmas Eve because my account shows nothing about this order. It is not even listed. Thankfully we took pictures of it. I called Fingerhut customer service and spoke to Len for about an hour with no resolve and then with her supervisor, Ellen with no resolve. Neither could tell me why this transaction was cancelled. I am closing my account and you have lost a VERY GOOD CUSTOMER! Thank you for ruining my niece's Christmas and anyone out there should know that YOU CAN NOT TRUST FINGERHUT!!!

Ok so the comments about the 2nd account... We were told of the change in a few ways. Mail, emails, on our profiles and messages on the website. And no... No one over there just took your info and opened a new account. No. They were changing their name and their system. So that random new account isn't a strange odd questionable account... It's a legit thing they did to all Fingerhut credit account holders - for legit reasons. Not for some sketchy stuff no.
I will say... I really don't care for this at the moment because now we have 2 accounts... And they are making us make 2 separate payments to BOTH accounts every month. That's not cool - for those struggling - that not ok. That's all I will say there. Overall experience is 3ish... Overpriced indeed... But just shop wisely. Grab what you are willing to pay more and avoid the rest.

Fingerhut/WEBBANK/Fetti: I submitted interest in rebuilding my credit with this company early summer 2021. They ran a hard credit check on my credit, opened an account. Less than a year later, I noticed there’s a 2nd account open from Fingerhut - they send a letter saying everything is fine and they’re doing a merger and it will change nothing as far as accounts go. However, without being notified of this process the ‘old’ account disappeared and a new one sprang up in its place - not only that, but Fingerhut ran a 2nd hard check on my credit when they opened the “new” (post-merger) customer account.
There was not a notification, no attempt at communication, no telling the consumer exactly what this “merger” would actually look like in real-time for their account status. Perhaps, most importantly, Fingerhut neglected to reach the consumer about how their credit (that they/we were working so hard to rebuild) would also take a hit from 2 hard checks in the span of under one calendar year. There needs to be a very serious legal conversation with Fingerhut. This has affected so many people. Look at the comments here, find even more on other consumer reporting sites. At the minimum, it’s unfair business practice.
Many people that have used Fingerhut to build credit post pandemic have made great efforts to manage their financial past and future. It’s very concerning that Fingerhut would engage in what seems to be secretive practices, there’s not another word for it. Very frustrating for those of us that actively engaging in rebuilding their credit and people deserve more than that from Fingerhut, especially when they’re playing an active role in their finances - quite literally renewing their financial credibility - after a long two years of very significant global financial uncertainty.

I order the above 18” Ceramic Christmas Tree & It arrived to me broken at the base/lights didn’t work/whole base was not even attached to tree (which explains why the base is broken). **See Attached Pictures ** I was told I would be responsible for the shipping charges to return broken one as well as shipping charges to get new one.-?? I don’t understand why a customer is responsible for the return charges when it arrived damaged & I immediately reached out to customer service (within 15 min of delivery). And then to get a new one that hopefully isn’t damaged as well I have to pay shipping charges to get it to me again.-!!! I mean seriously.-!!
Now if it was my fault I get it but it wasn’t my fault but this company apparently feels like they're not already overpricing the items by 200% they try to nickel & dime you to death… I sent messaged them back telling them to CLOSE MY ACCOUNT.. I bought two TVs. One was perfectly fine, the other tv screen was all messed up straight out of the box. I called and tried to get it exchanged. Was told there was nothing they could do which frankly is **. I have been a loyal customer for years, never missed payments and to treat me like they did was disgusting so I will probably never buy again from Fingerhut. I will pay my remaining balance and they can shove their ** where the sun don't shine. This tv was for my child and I have to not only pay for a broken tv, I can't use but had to go buy a new one so my child was happy. Joined to build credit. Never used it due to high prices. One day they up & closed the account and opened a different account w/o my authorization. The closed account dinged my credit and so did the new account, as it lowered my age of credit. So upsetting! I would not recommend Fingerhut.

In case you didn't know in March or April '22 Fingerhut closed your active account and then opened a different account in your name without being authorized or even asking for authorization. In turn causing a lot of issues for a lot of people credit wise. Also besides that you are still obligated to pay the balance down on the closed account, which doesn't help your credit at all, right? At whatever the interest rate was at the time, Plus if you did happen to make a purchase with new account now you have to pay that balance off with the same interest rate. But still restricted to the same line of credit they let you increase to on closed account.
Is that legal? Paying 2 times the interest rates for the same amount of credit because they changed their name? Which is now 2 hits on your credit as well. New Account, Closed Account. I feel mislead and preyed upon as I am trying to build credit. After making payments on time all the time account closed and now irrelevant, no more credit increases for making payments on time nothing but debt left to pay off and a lower credit score. Now, I get that you close my Fingerhut account but what I don’t get is how you think it’s okay to open up another account without my permission. That showed up on my credit as another account. Not only that you still charge me interest on the account that you closed. To be honest I thought they were really just changing their name. But when I order something I got a bill in the mail for that order. I’m like why is this separate from my Fingerhut account. So I called, and the lady was polite and informed me that it’s a separate account. So that’s mean I have two separate bills. I said okay, then I said I don’t think so. Right then I paid off that order and haven’t order anything else since.
Fingerhut did this wrong. You suppose to give people the option to switch to Fetti Fingerhut. You asking people to make two payments to same company, and that’s crazy. Now about this interest. It seems like it’s taking me forever to pay this old account off. By the grace of God I never had one late payment. I’m paying $130 a month and it take $80 off my balance. Now, if the company close the account in my opinion they forfeit any interest on that account!!! All they should get is what is owed…I’m really really upset with this whole situation!!!

I have had a Fingerhut account for a long time. Fingerhut sends a catalogue for me to order from as I have done on several occasions. I ordered an item from what I believed to be Fingerhut's same account I have always had. I later was sent a bill from Fingerhut Fetti which listed a different account number. I did not authorize this account and was tricked into starting another account which I did not authorize which is a violation of North Carolina Law under fraud, False Pretense and bait and switch.
I contacted Fingerhut fetti who was very rude and I told personnel that I did not sign for any much account with Fingerhut fetti. I told Personnel to place any orders under my Fingerhut original account however, Fingerhut Fetti has now listed me five times as failure to pay on this fraudulent account. I will send a certified letter to Fingerhut Fetti and contact my legal advisor for possible criminal charges and report Fingerhut fetti to all three collection agencies. Please take notice that this complaint will be resolved through the North Carolina Court system if necessary. I am a retired law enforcement Criminal detective and will not stand criminal activity.

Ok so I try this place out for credit. Yes it will help your credit score. My issue was how they mail your stuff, just terrible the box was not in a shipping box and smashed... When I open the box the top of the coffee maker was broke but I kept it. Only had for 3 months and still making payments and it stop working!!! When I wrote for a return they will not!!! So I am now stuck paying off this coffee making that does not work and had to buy a new one elsewhere. I will not ever buy anything from this place...

I got the card over a year ago. Never used it. They dink 20 some points on my credit report. I never used the card at all. No balance. They did that to my credit cause I didn't use the card. It was high prices. I just had it in case of emergency. Well they took my credit back and card. Total bull crap customer service. Fraudulent to get you in the card.

I am so pissed at the fact that I was misinformed so many times. The error that was caused on Fingerhut oversight totally poor consumer service and the fact that the staff was totally not on the same page. I called more than 6 times and was on the phone over an hour each time. When all this could have been avoided from the start. I just hope that when my returns are received by your company, that my account is credited accurately and correctly. I wasted a half of day dealing with fingerhut on yesterday. Just watch them with the "payment due dates" on the website. I will be 100% on-time making my monthly payments and then all of sudden I'll log in and it will tell me I'm past due for the current month that I already paid, and even though I just logged in literally the day before and absolutely NOTING was due, let alone PAST DUE. In my experience, if I just wait a few days and don't pay what it is telling me I owe, the next time I log in, that "past due" amount and date mysteriously vanish, and now the amount and date due is for the next month (as it should be), with NOTHING past due. It's like they momentarily trick you into thinking that you missed a payment just so you freak out and pay it. And when you do, it goes towards principle and interest, and your next month's payment will still be due in less than 30 days.
So essentially they are trying to get you to make two payments a month with the shady way it is set up. I totally get that we should be trying to pay more than the minimum amount due and in a perfect world we'd all love to make double payments each month, but it's not a reality for many. Furthermore, it's really misleading and off-putting how they operate. No other credit card/account I have displays this trickery. Given both the shady practices and the terrible interest rates, and I will be so glad when this account is paid off so I never have to look at it again. I get that I signed up for it knowing what the rates were, but honestly... If you're thinking of boosting your credit by signing up for Fingerhut...DO NOT! And "Fingerhut" is also just a really terrible name for a business that needs to be reevaluated. Lol.

They tout this company as a way to rebuild credit but it’s nothing of the sort. The interest fees are astronomical as every over-minimum payment I made resulted in the exact same balance. Every time I ordered shoes (3), they sent me the smallest size available. The third pair is when I missed the return deadline and when I looked them up to resell privately, they were actually less than 1/2 the cost Fingerhut charged. Scam. This is a scam. Don’t do it.

Do not buy anything from this company. They overcharge for everything. They lure you in because you have poor or no credit. Then, when you purchase things on their website, the finance charges are outrageous! Around 30%. Please be aware of this. It will take you forever to get your bill paid off. You are better off getting a sub-prime credit card. If you made the mistake of getting an account with them and made several purchases on credit, pay off the account as soon as possible, so as not to incur anymore finance charges.

Ordered a four-person pop up dome tent, to go camping of course. Upon receipt, we set it up in the living room and instantly noticed how thin and cheaply the material was made. If you saw it, you would never set this up outside or in the woods. It looked more like a toy that a child would play with in the bedroom, not a tent you would actually camp in the woods with. A falling leaf may actually penetrate it. It was so flimsy, I was very careful to disassemble and put back in the box for fear of breaking it. $40 to return it. Fingerhut is the biggest scam. I have gotten my credit up to as far as 733 and everytime it went down LARGE AMOUNTS OF NUMBERS was always due to FINGERHUT! I’m a credit monitor, and I’d expect for 5 to possibly 20pts down, but as large as 50+ from purchasing to supposedly “rebuild credit” is absolutely asinine!!!! How is a company that claims buying with them “ is an opportunity to build credit” but they lower your points drastically every purchase. Then while you pay it off it doesn’t even give you the same amount they knocked off your credit !! They literally give 5pts versus the 30+ they take from you. It’s a scam and a lie. Not to mention it’s a major rip off. You can shop for ANYTHING on there and their prices are far more expensive than it is when you go to any other store, and I mean for something as little as perfume..they overcharge. THIS WILL DESTROY YOUR CREDIT!
To go from Good Credit back to Fair credit (ALL MOSTLY DUE TO FINGERHUT) is so unreal, other things that impacted my credit were things I easily recovered from, I was able to get whatever I wanted but was always very responsible. Now monitoring my credit and how it’s UNDER 680 and I’ve been paying off fingerhut but to no avail, they’re not building it whatsoever. Once I pay it off, I’m NEVERRRR using it again. I’m not even going to close it. I’ll wait till they close it due to inactivity, and I’ll just build up whatever I have to build after that because I can honestly say that Fingerhut has been the sole downfall of my credit. It’s disgusting they’re getting away with harming people’s credit, I’m seriously thinking bout a petition or lawsuit. They deserve it. I’m not the only one having major issues with this company.

**Finger Huts review**. I bought a gaming PC. It arrived pre-opened and with stickers restuck. It had software issues and PC errors from the beginning. Possible tampering, even a Trojan perhaps. Because the error message would re-open and it was not fast. Game settings were changing back automatically, and then the whole system would begin to leak like liquid coolant... I could even notice it physically... like impacting my health. Including odor and full body sweats. Zero stars for Finger Hut... I would never recommend this company.

I have been a customer with Fingerhut for years. Never had a problem with payments. Since, I moved, they changed their card to something called Fingerhut Fetti and I received a card in the mail stating my old account would transfer over. I try to order but I have to call to confirm access to my account. They put my account on Hold because I moved! Their computer won't generate a question for me to answer and she couldn't go back to send a code to my phone so, she wanted me to send her a copy of a Bill, my Driver's License and my Social Security Card. Heck, NO! As I said, I have been with Fingerhut for years. I told her to Cancel my account, which she did. They have lost a good customer!

I used Fingerhut to boost my credit and buy a few things for Christmas. It started out fine, had the payments come out of my checking account monthly. 1st they sold me two phones that was 4g which are no longer viable with a 5g service change. I called to see if I could have the phones replaced, they advised that I contact Samsung for replacement. Samsung stated they were out of warranty. Called Fingerhut back and they said there is nothing they could do though I must continue to pay for something I can't use totaling $741.00. Then they opened a second account in my name without permission under Fetti which I will never use, added credit but effected my credit score negatively because it stopped auto deduction of my payments without my knowledge. Which caused late payments on my credit.
I called to resolve the issue five times but it would hang up before the call could be completed each time. Finally got through months later, only to speak with someone who barely spoke English and asked to speak with a supervisor only to be told they would call me back....mercy. This was the worst Company I have EVER used. Products, customer service, credit all are subpar and lacking any professionalism. The credit provided is not worth the headaches. I would not suggest Fingerhut be used by ANYONE. Avoid at all cost! Issues are STILL unresolved.

This company formed a second account under my name that I did not authorize. There's a balance and I haven't made a purchase in a year. Made my regular payment. Got a notification that I had a 30 day late payment on my credit. They will not do anything to try to settle, let me speak with a manager or collections. They claim there is no one else in the office to speak to. I will be taking legal action and I hope everyone stands up together against this company.

I was trying to find an older model laptop to replace one that is falling apart (it's a small one I take to work). The only place I could find it was Fingerhut. I ordered the item and paid to make sure someone had to sign for it when it arrived. It never did. Two of us were sitting right here all day, watching movies, and no one was even on the street at the time of "delivery." I contacted Fingerhut. They had me contact UPS. And they had me download, fill out, and upload a form that was just rhetoric, they had me "prove" I'd been dealing with UPS (no, no one ever did sign for the item), and now I'm waiting for the local police to show up so I can file a report. For a mis-delivered three hundred dollar laptop.
I'm in my seventies and have lived in this house thirty-three years and in this zip code most of my life. Packages get mis-delivered, even lost, probably stolen. But so far, with Fingerhut, there have been over thirty emails/messages back and forth, as there is no way to phone one of their five numbers and reach a human. But, because on their computer screen, it reads that the package was delivered, Fingerhut decided to close a "case" that was never a case to begin with.
After reading over the layout and odd repetitious pre-written phrases, I do not believe Fingerhut is located in the United States. No matter how I phrase things, I get the exact same responses. No matter what I send as an attachment, they want something more. The local police were just here. I now have a police report I am going to forward to Fingerhut, but I will bet my own life that they will not accept it. Stay away. You can find a replacement item elsewhere. Places like this should be shut down.

Fingerhut Advantage changed to Fetti. I had a zero balance when unbeknownst to me it converted. I received bill for $30.00. Paid $9.99 minimum to my Advantage account and inquired as to what the charge was for and now am being charged a late fee on top of bill I did not owe. I requested them to close my account. 07/29/22. We will see what happens but from other reviews I am not holding my breath.

Now they claim that my account through Advantage/Fetti I have a balance of $200 so they want me to repay those payment. I told them that I will not pay double on items I've already paid for. I made a payment from 4 different credit cards, paid it off, went to buy something, and froze my account. Even though the first two payments of 72.00 each off a credit card. That shows payment had been posted not pending. My original payment would have only been 18.99 so that is well over 18.00 144.00 to be exact. But they froze my account and said they were waiting for the other two payments of 72.00. They have already cleared my bank. So they just lost a customer. If they treat you like this when you pay off your account I don't need these people. I'm disabled and have to rely on the internet to do my shopping.

This is not a good company. The product(s) are cheap and don't function well. The clothes are cheap and overpriced. I received multiple text messages today (7-8-22), stating my payment is due. My payment is not due until 7-18-22. I called and the CSR was not really that interested. Don't buy from these people. Bad management, bad merchandise, sullen CSR. I wouldn't recommend them to people I don't even like.

I had an account with Fingerhut advantage. The company was sold. Fingerhut fetti bought the company. Now consumer (I) stuck with two accounts. Two payments with little notices. In order to get out this jam I consolidate 3 bills including fingerhut. Called them for pay out May 17. Got address, loan company sent a check. Called every week. Sometimes 2x a week. They haven't received anything yet. The phone call every day non stop. Well 6/28 I called. Asked have they received a payment. "Hold on please," I was told. Yes you owe nothing on your advantage account. I asked, "Can you tell me when you all received the payment." Yes 6/9/22. Really. I just call 6/21/22. This is ridiculous. If I wouldn't call problem would've been charge next month. Money is due bay for actually pay out day.

I got this card to help with my credit. The merchandise is overpriced and you're paying more in shipping than the item is worth. If you don't use it they take your credit limit away. The footwear is terrible. I'm on a New Balance pair of slides. They didn't even last a season before peeling. I've had Nike, Under Armour, etc. last way longer and I paid less. Shipping is way more than the items' worth. They send it to my neighbors all the time. When the bill comes in by the time you're paying it off you paid probably double of what everything cost. Customer service isn't very helpful. I wore a pair of sandals I just bought from them four times and they're literally falling apart. I ordered a mixer I don't know how long ago and it still hasn't come and I dread calling them. After I pay this off I'm done with them. I do not recommend Fingerhut.

My interest rate is almost 30%. Even if I make more than the minimum payment, my bill stays the same. They want to charge way over market price for their goods as well. Customer service is useless. They tell Fingerhut Advance is being taken over by Fetti. What they don't tell you is that it means you're going to be billed for the same loan by two separate companies for two different accounts although the loan amount to you remains the same. This is a total rip off and should be illegal. I was paying Advance over the minimum just to later find out that Fetti regards it as zero payments and is racking up late payments as well. Not until this Month after I paid $100 one WK early for the due date was I told I'm to so play Fetti the minimum payment on the 15th too and they can not take it out of the overpayment I paid advance before the due because it's separate account. How can they be allowed to get away with this. I would have never continued with Fingerhut had they made it clear that I would be stuck paying two separate account for one loan! They need to be shut down permanently!!

I have been a customer for over 3 years. They now have switched their banking system to a different bank. Now as a customer from the past, I now have 2 separate accounts. If they would have made it clear that I would be having to make 2 payments, I would be okay, but they did not. So I turn they were able to charge me a late fee. When called to have rectified, customer service was very rude. As if it’s my fault they made these changes and DID NOT make it aware to me.

So I got approved for a Fresh Start account. Cool. Was able to get a few things. All good. I had buyer's remorse and quickly cancelled as soon as I compared the same option's price at other retailers. This wasn't really surprising, but I was able to cancel before they shipped and they let me know I'd receive a credit for the down payment, or the down payment would be fully refunded to my debit/credit card that was used (which can typically take 7-10 business days). So, after thinking I was going to get the funds back to my checking account, I waited 11 business days, still nothing. I contacted support again and they said they applied a credit for the down payment to my account, but I could contact support and have them mail me a check instead (weird).
At this point, I said whatever I'll just get the items I initially wanted. So I made the attempt. However, there doesn't seem to be a valid "credit" at all. In fact, the order says it is cancelled, but I cannot start a new order due to the pending down payment I already did weeks ago, and the credit on my account says $-30. At this point I try to start a new support ticket but I literally can't. When describing the issue it says I can't use certain punctuation, but they do have an automatic "fix it" button, so I clicked that and it got rid of the punctuation. But I still can't submit a new ticket. At this point I am annoyed and aggravated. $30 short with no items and no refund or credit. I decided to reply to their response of my former ticket and am waiting to see if they get back to me on Monday.
You may ask, "Why not just call them?". Well, apparently only certain credit accounts have customer service numbers and Fresh Start does not. Additionally, even calling these other numbers only gives you automated responses to input your phone number or account number to verify who you are, but if you don't have the credit account for that phone number it won't show up. Leaving you at the mercy of strict automation with zero help or customer service. Plenty of better websites that do the same as this elsewhere. This has been a headache.

I called them to let them know I had a death in the family and also lost my job and home, but asked if they had a hardship plan I could do just for a few months. Fingerhut notified its customer cardholders of the following: "Important Changes To Your Account. Take a moment to review the recent changes to your Fingerhut account. Fingerhut Fetti Credit Card. 1 New Credit Account. Same Great Fingerhut. A new Fingerhut Fetti credit account has replaced your previous Fingerhut Advantage credit account in My Account."
What they failed to tell us customers is that this new Fetti account would be reported as a new account to the credit bureaus. I have worked hard to raise my credit score the past few years. The new line and closing of the old account ruined all of that hard work because it dropped my credit score considerably. And this from a company that advertises that it can increase your credit score. There should be a class action lawsuit for this.

I'm about to lose the home I'm having built because Fingerhut decided to close my oldest trade line and open a brand new one lowering my credit scores across the board in turn, disqualifying me from the down payment assistance I was previously approved for. They reached out to me requesting more information and what I thought was an attempt to help in some way, but what they actually did was attempt to blame everything on me and trash talk me to the people who works for the builder. The compliance director called me and continued to deny any blame and insisted my score hadn't dropped based on their last monitored pull on 5/4/2022. He claimed mortgage companies all use the same scores which is completely untrue. I sent them detailed proof of my scores dropping including amounts, date and the reason the credit Bureau gave for the drop. They cannot get away with this.

Not only do I never know my due date a few days before it's due, making it a great conduit for late payments a 50+ late fee and near 50% markups is ridiculous. Consumer Affairs please help get this scam company investigated. They also magically closed the account and put my old account to a new one without my consent. This fake account closure caused a 30 pt dip in my credit score.

I called to see why I was in the fraud department when I didn't report fraud nor do I have a bal. So after giving may my full social security number and dob verified everything. I was told need to send in a copy. I have been with this company over two years and paid off multiple items. I don't feel comfortable giving my info to this company when I didn't do anything different. I asked for a supervisor. She refused. She didn't even put me on hold. I asked for the president of the company contact info. She has literally just sat on the phone and didn't say anything. This is the most unprofessional company and they have lost a loyal customer.

I wanted to order something from their new Fetti program but I just found out if order anything not only I will have to pay the monthly payments on the new account I will also have to pay off the balance from the closed account and I was told that the account's balances are not transferable.

This company is a scam! My account was paid off! By the time I realized they sent it to collections they said there is nothing they can do because they no longer have the account. Wow! Disputing it didn't even help. It has been years. They have harassed me to the point where I will have no choice but to pay it. It's really sad to pay it twice!

I had a Fingerhut account a while ago that was paid off and has not been used. I got a notification from the credit bureau that a new Fingerhut Fetti account had be opened in my name and I did not authorize it and immediately disputed it with the credit bureaus. I called Fingerhut Fetti and was told that they had switched from Fingerhut Advantage to Fingerhut Fetti and that they had did a hard inquiry against my credit and they apologize but if I make a purchase and pay it on time as I pay it over that over time my credit score would increase as well. That is totally unacceptable. I do not advise anyone to ever do business with them as this has really hurt those that are trying to build and others like me that already had good credit and just didn't want it to be affected for no reason. Beware of this company!

I've had an account for 15yrs. Have a high credit line and have used it, never late. If you value your credit score, do NOT use FH. Over the years, they increase your credit line (increases your score) if you're active, and they reduce it (lowering your credit score) if you don't stay in debt with them. NOW, they changed their accounts to what is called a "Fetti" account, which showed up on my credit report as a new account, LOWERING my credit score. I never asked for a Fetti acct and if "they" need to make changes in their company, to provide credit??? It should NOT impact existing customers or their credit.

I started a Fingerhut account many years ago and was trying to build my credit. Things were great until Fingerhut sold out and ran my credit twice without my permission. This act is illegal, they hurt my credit and took 10 pts away. I've worked too hard for that. I have spoken to the company and written many emails about this and had zero progress resolving this issue. Now I have to contact credit companies and dispute this. I am also going to contact an attorney. I told them to fix this issue and close all my account, because they tried to make a new one without permission. Not a thin dime until it's fixed. This company is a fraud and will not help your credit at all.
Be aware, they are not a helping company. They will share your personal info everywhere and there's nothing you can do. Stay away from them unless you don't care about your hard earned credit. Don't be fooled by them. Ok, I'm done for the moment but promise to keep helping the public stay away from CRIMINALS like Fingerhut. Don't be scared by their saying they help you, they don't.
