So apparently they're going out of business. I've had the card for a while but I've never actually purchased anything because it's about twice the price of the items anywhere else. But here recently because I guess they're going out of business they had some decent clearance items on sale. So I liked this pair of tennis shoes I was going to purchase for 20 bucks and go to check out and they want $150 to ship it. Like you got me confused. Do not apply for another one. Do not give these people business. They are ripping you off and I showed you a photo to prove it.

They are going out of business and neglected to tell their customers. That is very rude of them. They were my go-to, now I have to find a new place, goodbye Fingerhut, so long, I'll think about paying you.

Fingerhut sent me the wrong size shoes, but won't make it right because they were on sale. I am unable to exchange even. What am I supposed to do with shoes that are two sizes too big? It seems like if it's the companies fault, it should be on them, not me.

I HATE FINGERHUT!!! I advise you to pay your bill with them, they will take you to court and have your accounts frozen over $100.I wish I would get a FINGERHUT catalog sent to my home..Legal issues aren't worth it..Stay on top of your balance due..

I ordered a TV back in Nov/Dec 2020. I was given a delivery date. No call no show on the delivery day. I was given another delivery date. Again, no call no show on the rescheduled delivery date. Called customer service multiple times. No one knows where the TV is. It's been almost 5 years. This company is trying to garnish me for something that never made it to my place. I received an email from the delivery company Finger Hut used, they claimed that I refused the TV, mind you, there was never a delivery attempt.

They are rip offs, in price, shipping and they make the customer pay for a return label when it's their mistake in the first place. They send wrong items, then make you pay to return it. They are a joke, customer service is ridiculous, half of them don't speak good English. In America you don't get good service with this shopping sites. They continually rip off the consumer.

The worse ever company. They definitely don't help with credit and once you are a customer they will pull your credit again and again to make sure you are within their credit bracket which is wrong. Once you pull my credit that should be enough especially without my consent period. They overprice their items as well. Stay away from this company idmf you are trying g to build your credit.

I made a purchase from Fingerhut, the item was stolen, I put in a police report, and sent the report to Fingerhut. Fingerhut proceeded to hold me responsible for the items putting it on my credit report for over seven years, reporting it as an active account. All I have to say is beware before you do business with this company.

I purchased a "leather" recliner, and a vacuum cleaner from Fingerhut. I'm almost finished paying for the pieces of shit that they sent me. The chair peeled because it wasn't leather, but vinyl. The vacuum was very heavy and started to overheat when using. It stopped working. I had to throw both out. Do not buy from them. I'm still paying for things I don't have. I closed my account. Never again!

Beware making any orders from Fingerhut, if you do not receive your item you are still bound to pay. This is not a company that will forgive driver errors. You will still be charged if you did not receive your item.

HORRIBLE. Closed my account for the 'fraudulent' activity of not using the card a year ago, then refused to re open or even tell me what happened or why, or assist me in any way other than repeating the same asinine bs. Customer service first rep hung up on me. Love to keep saying the word fraudulent as if it's a great way to insult someone. Terrible. Go to Walmart or literally anywhere else!!

Everything on Fingerhut is really expensive, I've noticed. But the shipping is so ridiculous, my goodness. Avoid utilizing Fingerhut to buy products if at all feasible. Shop around, like on Temu or Amazon; these websites have much lower prices, therefore I recommend them if you want high-quality items. Better customer service is provided, and you receive your money returned without any issues. I was so upset I just took the loss and didn't even return the product. I just threw it away.

Horrible! They receive a negotiated payment amount and mark your account paid in full. Then sell the rest of original debt to a random collections company to get more money! What is the point of agreeing to a payment amount and payment plan or payment arrangement, then saying your paid in full, all to then years later go back and try to get the remaining money? A negotiation is supposed to benefit both sides. Reduced amount due on one side, and Fingerhut getting their money now. Their negotiation skills are lacking and are pointless. Don't make a payment arrangement with them because they will just decide to go back on that payment and sell your paid off debt to anyone who wants to give them money for it. Don't shop with them or get an account with them! Save up cash for that item you want.

Fingerhut is a sham!!! Buyer beware. Predominantly cheap Chinese goods sold at overly exaggerated prices. My leaf blower quit working after 2 months. Fingerhut's response was contact the manufacturer in China!! Right sure, I was given a link and of course it was no good! My daughter in law also purchased a few things. Before my ordeal with the leaf blower and she was so disappointed with the quality of the outrageous prices of: what equates to, yes very very very cheap Chinese garbage! Never ever ever buy from them. They are equivalent to 1st class scammers!

FingerHut is a good company until you have to pay on account then app doesn't work then it makes you keep putting payment information in and saying it wasn't accept when it was. I paid twice. Almost three times the amount 69.99. Then I have already made 4 payments of 69.99 and 36.99. They took all credit from account and changed my balance back to 1200 when I first started saying that was interest on account. Their billing system is a rip off and then they give you credit but don't be fair when it's time to pay back. My balance was 600. They gave me a customer credit of 400 so then I ordered items. Balance was 1200 so I made 4 payments so they sent me another credit but took all money I paid on account. Now they want me to pay twice. Now I got to start over. They stole money all the credit I paid.

I have never in my life been so disappointed with a company as with Fingerhut. I was on their fresh start program. Paid my monthly payments way before due date and these people trying to tell me that January payment was late when it was paid on December 31. I just got off phone arguing with them and got nowhere. I can't believe that these people did this to me. I have all my proof and still they said I am wrong. Go somewhere else. Don't buy from them.

I got Fingerhut 5 years ago. About a year ago they cut off my account with 100% on time payments, no missed or late payments. They switch to a different form of account and requested I sign up for the new and need the money from the old. Now they are threatening to put a debt on me for the remaining 500$. I have it to pay just wonder why I built credit in an account for them to shut it down and tell me if I want to use their services again I gotta sign for a new one with less than half of the credit limit? Horrible service and Even worse and old products. Horrible. Steer clear.

I had automatic payments set up and some lazy worthless employee didn’t do their job and I got a negative credit hit because of it. Don’t use these people. No wonder they have a 1.3 star review. Fingerhut and Web Bank you're all crooks. I hope this review causes you to lose customers.

I ordered 4 items! 1came to my address, 2 was delivered in Michigan and 1 was delivered in Iowa! It sure isn’t fun having to fight for a refund! Never again! They want me to sign an affidavit that states packages were delivered at correct address, which they were not!! I refuse to sign it!

In April of 2022 we tried to make a payment to fingerhut.com. Each time payment wouldn't process. At that same time I was battling some serious health issues. We could call or try to figure out what was wrong. July 2022 we received a card and letter stating congratulations to Fingerhut Fetti and your credit limit. We were confused and wondered what happened to fingerhut.com. August 2023 we got a bill from fingerhut.com with multiple late fees. I called ask them how can I be charged when they closed their company and reopen to another name.
I made a payment arrangement. We agreed to make three payments the debt would be resolved. After the third payment they said no that made the account to fingerhut.com current, why am I making an account that closed current. Due to my illness our finances depleted. Next thing I know we're in collection, there's no laws or regulations to these predatory collection agencies. Now my husband is being garnishment trilogy his base pay. This is so unfair and so wrong. Please avoid opening any account with fingerhut.com fingerc.

I’ve maintained a Fingerhut account for several years, primarily to support my FICO score through a consistent credit line—currently set at $1,500, which hasn't changed despite my long-standing history with the company. While I rarely keep any of the merchandise I order, I intentionally make occasional purchases just to avoid having the account closed, as the company threatens to do if there's no activity within a few months. After ordering, I promptly return the item to maintain the account status without actually keeping their products.
From my experience, Fingerhut sells mostly outdated, discontinued, or closeout merchandise—items that wouldn’t meet the standards of most mainstream or up-to-date retailers. Their catalog and online store seem geared toward unloading low-quality inventory. I’ve bought a mattress and a pillow, both of which were disappointing in quality and comfort. Fingerhut seems to target lower-income consumers by offering credit accounts with low minimum payments, which make purchases seem affordable upfront. However, the real cost lies in the high-interest rates and inflated product pricing, making many items far more expensive than they would be elsewhere. It’s a model that preys on financial vulnerability, encouraging people to buy low-quality goods on credit while paying more in the long run.

I've been a loyal customer for years and spent thousands and due to auto pay I never missed a payment. My balance has been at $0 for a few months because I am working on lowering my debt. Since then I have been sent multiple things, credit increases and catalogs as they desperately tried to get me to buy something. Today I tried to make a purchase only to find out they canceled my account on me. I recently took out a loan for my mother buy a car after nearly being killed by a 16 year old running a stop sign. That loan made my score go down and it's already climbing again after just 2 months. I had a perfect history with them and I bet if I had any amount of my credit used they wouldn't have canceled it.
I was punished and had my account canceled because I wasn't keeping my credit limit maxed out after they were relentlessly trying to get me to charge something. I'm extremely disappointed with that type of behavior and it would have never happened to me if I just kept letting them overcharge me and make interest off my dept. Really classy FINGERHUT, and I will asking everyone I know who enjoy finger hut to cancel their accounts because of the way they treat loyal customers who have never had any issues with making my payments.

Just so others are aware that if you return an item for whatever reason you will be charged a ridiculous amount for its return. I returned an item for 133.00 and the charged me $47.00. They called it shipping charges. Never again.

I will never buy from them again. I bought a computer that was defective (screen kept flashing black) and they won't let me return it. Now I am totally locked out of it and can't get back in. BUYER BEWARE!!

I have continually called, wrote, email Fingerhut to update my balance to $0 with the credit bureau after paying off my account. They have yet to respond, or even make an attempt to process what’s needed to update my balance. Be careful dealing with this company.

They are either very naive, or just very evil. Their website is barely usable as far as trying to get basic account information, and when you call customer service, the reps are always extremely - if not annoyingly - polite, repeating everything three times, but they are in some other country and I can barely understand them. I am constantly being transferred to others, and no one seems trained to answer basic questions. I am disputing a $30 down payment for a defective item I returned and they are giving me all kinds of excuses, saying they are going to deduct this and that fee from the $30 until basically there's nothing left.
It's easy to see why people just order stuff and steal it, because they make it so easy, and also they basically steal from the down payment from the customer. Might as well shank them first. Will never order from any of these monthly- installment companies. Honestly don't know how they stay in business. They sell junk for three times what it's actually worth to dopes like me. Lesson learned.

Due to heath issues and hospital stays I'm behind in my payments. Recently they took 200 from my acct that I can't afford and didn't authorize. I called them and they actually reversed the charge! Extremely helpful. Thank you Fingerhut!

I was late for 10 days because I was ill and they reported my account late. It's going to be 7 years it will stay in my credit report. I turn around and paid them off. Never again doing business with them.

I have dealt with Fingerhut many years. This company is the worst to work with you when you have a hardship going on. They are real quick at serving a judgement against you. So if you ever want to get something my best advice is to NOT to deal with them period.

Fingerhut is a joke. Stay away. Placed order on 2-17-2025. Label created 2-18-2025. Today is 2-22-2025 item still not shipped. Customer service only gives you the runaround. 4 days and Fedex still not got my package. Will pay this account off and close the account cause this not the first time this has happened.
