I was referred to Premier Auto Protect by a friend. I was hesitant at first and thought the price may be too good to be true. I gave them a call and was able to get a vehicle protection plan for a great price. I saved over $700 from what I was quoted at the dealership. I think they're among the few companies you can afford on budget.

I took the car in for service and Premier Auto Protect was supposed to take care of it. Then they said they wouldn’t because the tire size has changed. It’s the ones that came when I bought it and they’re maybe a little bit different than the factory ones. But that’s not what they’re repairing. It had nothing to do with the inside of the motor or the rack and pinion and powertrain. The mechanic said that’s no reason to not do that. I talked to my attorney and he said that if Premier doesn’t take care of it, we will sue. I’ve called and called, and the lady said somebody else will be calling. If they take care of it, then I’ll recommend them. But otherwise, I will not.

This company is the very best and they really care about your car. Your vehicle is very important to them. Premiere covered every single issue that I had with my Ford.

Premier dragged their feet for two weeks when my car was in the shop. My car had to stay there for their terms. After two weeks, I just said, "Enough is enough." So, I called. I canceled it and they said the check went out on August 3rd but as of today, I still haven't received my deposit back for $90. Last Monday, my service writer at the dealership called and said that he just had a phone call that said that the inspector was on his way out to inspect my car. My car had been with me for two weeks. It took them almost three and a half weeks to get someone to come out. So, they get 5 thumbs down literally. I'm so pissed at them right now.

I was talking with the person who sold me this warranty for almost a month, and I was asking questions and he would give me his answers. I asked him about the process of filing the claim. He said, "You take your car in. They submit the photos. And then we give them a debit card. And you're out of there." That wasn't the way it happened. I just bought the car last August and it didn't have any other warranty. So, I wanted to get something to protect me financially and they made me feel like I was trying to take advantage of them. I was very upfront with them about the model, the year and the mileage. They tried to shame me in trying to feel bad about having to call them to have someone come out and look at my car.

They’ve been very helpful. They're good. They didn't end up pressuring me, compared to other companies. Once I said no to the rep that I talked to and let me call her back, she accepted. So that made me feel a little more confident. Because when you’re selling something that's good, you don't have to pressure the customer.

Premier's application process was easy. Their rep was very good. He explained to me how the policy worked. The initial phone call sounded really good. So, I was happy with it. I had a claim on my car's air conditioner. It's been extremely difficult. My car has been in the shop for almost a month now. The technician that was helping me at Honda was calling them. No one would answer the phone for days. When he finally got ahold of someone, he told them that he couldn't really send a picture of what was wrong with it because of where it is. They were like, "Well, you have to send a picture. There's no way we can process it." So he said, "Well, send someone down there." Someone came two days later and he saw that he couldn’t take a picture of it. About four days after that, they finally processed the paperwork for me to get it fixed.

The technician at Honda was really confused, and he was kind of going back and forth with them. They sent the check to me, which is weird instead of sending it to the dealership. So, I had to pay for the whole thing which is why I needed the help. One more thing is they aren't open on the weekends so you can't file a claim on the weekends. Their voicemail doesn't say that.

The experience with Premier Auto Protect, so far, has been a little bit unstable. My mileage was entered incorrectly on my warranty. I just realized that I’ve been paying for a warranty for about two months now, and I’ve made a down payment, and I’m unable to use my warranty until they correct some information. I am trying to get a claim completed that cannot be processed until the discrepancy is corrected. My car is at a licensed repair facility right now, and I’m unable to use my claim until that gets corrected. They just informed me that they will correct it in about an hour and a half or give me a response. As far as their customer service, I would give them about 10 stars. They’re really friendly and kind, giving me callbacks, and being supportive in trying to fix the situation.

The gentleman that set me up was very nice and explanatory on everything. They tried to take a payment today and they probably didn't get one because the account has not got all the deposits in yet. I was gonna give him a call to let him know that on the 3rd I’ll let them take a payment off of my other debit card.

The reps were marvelous. They said if I get any company saying that I don't pay anything out of pocket, that’s a gimmick. They said more likely, I'm gonna have to pay something out of pocket. They went over my options. When they mentioned one of my vehicles, I had to pay only 25%. For the second vehicle, it was 50%.

Signing up with Premier was fairly easy. They answered majority of the questions before I even asked them. It was a pleasant experience. I wanted as much coverage as I could get without having a good job to pay for it and I was able to do that with Premier.
