How does Carvana work?

Carvana is an online used car dealership that allows customers to buy, trade and sell used vehicles.

The vehicles Carvana sells come from several sources, including auctions, customers who trade in or sell their cars to the company and partnered dealerships. Carvana stores its cars at inspection centers across the country. When you purchase a vehicle, the company can ship it to you, or you can pick it up from one of its dozens of ā€œVending Machinesā€ around the country.

Carvana conducts a 150-point inspection to ensure quality. The cars sold by the company have clean titles, no reported accidents, no frame damage and no fire or flood damage. Carvana backs each vehicle with a 100-day, 4,189-mile limited warranty.

Carvana delivery process

Carvana offers a touchless delivery process:

  1. Identity confirmation: The Carvana Advocate will ask you to send a selfie with your driver’s license to confirm your identity.
  2. Vehicle sanitation: The delivery person will unload the car; sanitize the keys, steering wheel and shifter; and leave your paperwork in the vehicle.
  3. Test-drive: The delivery person will contact you to let you know the vehicle is ready for inspection and a test-drive. They'll wait in their hauler while you confirm you want to go through with the purchase.
  4. Document signing: After your test-drive, the Advocate will call you and walk you through the paperwork.
  5. Document submission: Once the paperwork is complete, you’ll leave it in an envelope for contactless pickup by the driver. You’ll also include your check and title to the vehicle you’re selling, if applicable, in the envelope.
  6. Purchase completion: The Carvana Advocate will review your paperwork from the hauler before leaving; if everything looks good, they’ll finalize the transaction.

If you prefer, you can pick up your car at one of 30-plus Carvana Vending Machines. A Carvana employee meets you at the pickup time to verify your license and insurance via a touchless process. You will receive a custom coin to insert into the vending machine. Once the vehicle is out of the vending machine, you take it for a test-drive. If you're happy with it, you then sign the registration paperwork.

Selling a car to Carvana

Carvana has a straightforward process for selling a car. You start by providing the vehicle identification number (VIN) or license plate information and answering some questions about the vehicle. Carvana provides an offer that’s valid for seven days.

If you accept the offer, you have several options to hand over the car: Carvana can pick up your vehicle, or you can deliver the vehicle to Carvana yourself to a Vending Machine or hub.

  • Pickup: A Carvana Advocate will offer touchless pickup of your vehicle from your location. If you’re trading the vehicle for a different one from Carvana, it will be delivered to you at this time.
  • Drop-off: You can also arrange to meet an Advocate at a Carvana Car Vending Machine or logistics hub, where you can complete a touchless sales process. If you're purchasing another vehicle it'll be ready for you; otherwise Carvana offers to arrange a rideshare for customers within 50 miles of home.

Carvana prices

The amount you spend on Carvana primarily depends on the cost of the car you purchase — vehicles listed on Carvana at the time of publishing range from just over $9,0000 to above $100,000. Carvana allows you to search and filter available vehicles by total price and monthly payment.

You can get free delivery with many vehicles as long as you live within the free delivery area; others have a nonrefundable delivery fee, which ranges from $190 to $599.

Carvana offers its own financing and accepts third-party financing and cash.

ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜… An Exceptional Car-Buying Experience. My wife, Leanne, had been looking for a new SUV. She really liked her previous Nissan Pathfinder, but there were a few features she wished it had—remote start being at the top of the list. Since her Pathfinder had been such a dependable vehicle, she decided she wanted another one and found a Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek through Carvana. The entire purchase was seamless. Everything was handled online, including the trade-in. She completed the purchase on Tuesday, and today her new Pathfinder was delivered right to our home. No dealership hassle, no pressure, and no being surrounded by salespeople. It was simply a pleasant way to purchase a vehicle.

When it arrived, I gave it the kind of inspection you would expect from someone who has bought a few vehicles over the years. I verified the VIN and confirmed that it was indeed the Rock Creek edition. I walked completely around it, examining both sides from different angles. I inspected the windshield and all the glass, checked every wheel and tire, and, while it was still on the delivery truck, got a good look underneath for any significant scrapes or signs of fresh fluid. I checked the hitch receiver, which does not appear to have ever been used, and looked beneath the hood. Everything was clean, and the fluid levels looked good.

The Pathfinder also arrived with two keys. Leanne had only expected one, so that was a very welcome surprise. As pleased as we are with the vehicle, what truly made this experience exceptional were the two gentlemen who delivered it, Ryan and David. They were courteous, professional, patient, and completely focused on customer service. As I inspected the vehicle, Ryan pointed out some of the things customers commonly want to check and jokingly acknowledged that it was obviously ā€œnot my first rodeo.ā€

They carefully inspected our trade-in and performed the required on-site diagnostics. Everything was exactly as we had represented it, and the process went smoothly. All our paperwork was ready, including the title to our previous Pathfinder, and their paperwork was already organized and prepared. There were no surprises or unnecessary delays. Ryan then sat with Leanne inside her new SUV and patiently walked her through its many features, explaining what everything did and answering her questions in detail. He never made her feel rushed. That kind of personal attention is something you seldom experience when purchasing a vehicle.

Ryan has been with Carvana for some time, while David is relatively new and was being trained by him. I honestly don’t believe David could have a better person mentoring him. Ryan’s patience, attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine concern for the customer were evident throughout the delivery. David was equally courteous and attentive, and both gentlemen represented Carvana extremely well. What also impressed me was the way they spoke about Carvana. They didn’t merely sound like two employees completing another delivery, they spoke with genuine pride about the company they work for. That says a great deal about an organization.

By the time everything was finished, it felt less like a business transaction and more like spending time with a couple of old friends. From the effortless online purchase to the delivery at our home, the entire experience was outstanding. Leanne is thrilled with her new Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek, and I cannot say enough good things about Ryan, David, and the service we received from Carvana. This was truly one of the easiest and most enjoyable vehicle purchases we have ever made. Carvana earned every one of these five stars, and Ryan and David deserve special recognition for making an already good experience unforgettable.

This was my first time buying a car through Carvana, and it was a great experience. I LOVE my newly purchased 2020 Subaru Forester Touring vehicle. I was a bit worried when I went to pick up the car because there were no pictures of defects beforehand (scratches, visible repairs, worn interior, etc), but that's because the car had NO visible defects at all! Two of my sons previously purchased nice vehicles through Carvana, at my suggestion, and they were happy with their purchases. So, after my beloved 2018 Subaru Forester was totaled in a horrible rear end collision (we were completely stopped, waiting to turn left, when a Dodge Ram Longhorn hit us from behind at 55mph), I turned to Carvana as well.

Being a middle-aged widow, I didn't want the hassle and pressure of dealing with a used car salesperson. I hated being forced to go through the process of finding another car, but I knew exactly what I wanted (the exact same interior and exterior colors of my former 2018 Subaru), and Carvana gave me plenty of choices. I've only had my new car for one week, and we are still getting to know one another, but I think it's going to be a long and happy relationship!

The only negative thing I can say, AT ALL, is that the Carvana vending machine was down the day I went to pick up my new car. However, I loved the whole process of paying for the car, choosing my warranty options, and signing all the required documents ahead of time, and only having to sign one piece of paper (title application and odometer statement) when the keys were handed over at the Carvana dealership. No pressure, no hassles, and no hidden costs or tricks. Buying a car should always be this easy and pleasurable, especially after the unexpected trauma of a serious accident.

We love Carvana because we never have to "talk to the manager" or be pressured to get the warranty. It's so fast and easy. Going to a dealership and haggling is exhausting. That being said, here were some small issues with this transaction: For one, the car was not as lovingly detailed as I would have liked. Nothing major, but I'm sure the guy they pay minimum wage to clean the cars is in a hurry to get things knocked out. Still, could have been better.

Another issue was this: Teslas like this don't come from the factory with a front license plate holder installed. Our state's law, however, requires them. While the guy who delivered the car to our house put on the rear license plate, he said something like, "I can't do the front license plate because they don't let us put screws into people's bumpers anymore." That means that they leave you with a car that, technically speaking, isn't legal to drive. The kicker is, when you install the front license plate holder, no screws actually go into the bumper: Screws hold the plate to the plate holder, but the plate holder sticks to the bumper with adhesive tape. So evidently the guy was misinformed.

The third thing I'll mention is that some of the information on the website - info that is supposedly about *your* car - can be wrong, because it's generated by AI. The notice on the screen even says so. I can't go back and prove it now, but I'm pretty sure the website said my car would be AWD, but it is in fact rear wheel drive. I think this would constitute a material claim of false advertising, but the website warns you not to believe it! It's shady and dishonest at worst, regrettable and misleading at best. If it bothered me that much I would have returned the car, but caveat emptor. All that being said, I still prefer Carvana to having to talk to a salesman at a car dealership.

This was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. It was literally as easy as buying something off of Amazon. I got pre-qualified, then I went to the website to shop the inventory. Every car told me how much my payment would be, how much I would need down, and if there was a delivery how much that would be. I found the car I wanted and placed the order. No surprises. No running my credit 40 different times to find the right lender or payment. No sales person trying to talk me into anything. I had a couple of steps during the processing time that required about 1-3 minutes of my time to verify something. Example proof of insurance. The car was literally delivered right to my front door.

Unfortunately the first car we got had a subtle issue that you wouldn’t have noticed unless you took it on a hill or a faster road. I noticed it about 3 hours after I had the car. I reached out to Carvana and within seconds (literally) I had a list of in network mechanics to take it in to. The next day, because it was after hours, I made an appointment with a mechanic from the list. It had early transmission failure. The mechanic helped me get a claim started to fix it. The process was easy. In the end we decided not to keep that car and swap it for another car.

I called Carvana from the car on the drive home and told them was the mechanic said and the lady I spoke with helped me narrow down cars I might like. When I got home I got on the computer and she had a list of cars that fit within our parameters saved to my favorites. Of course we could shop any on the site but we did end up choosing one of the ones she put on the list. The process to swap the car was literally as easy as saying we will take that one. They brought us the new car and picked up the first car. Everyone we spoke with was kind, friendly, and amazing.

When it comes to customer service they really have exceptionally great customer service. As we approached the end of our 7 day money back guarantee we got a email about or registration. Prior to buying a car with Carvana I had called the DMV and Carvana to find out about the costs of tax tag and title and was told Carvana handled it. In most cases this is true. Unfortunately whoever I spoke with didn’t realize in Oklahoma they can’t pay it for us. They do start the process and our metal tag came and they are sending a file that we will just take to the DMV so the final registration process will be super easy. However the surprise of now needing to pay the $800 in tax tag and title costs wasn’t a very nice surprise. It was a communication error. In most states they do work those costs into the final price of the purchase but not in our state.

After speaking with Carvana they have said in the future they will train the representatives to double check that information based on the buyers state before saying they cover it so there aren’t any surprises for future customers. Overall I would recommend Carvana. Despite the communication error this has been hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had. After buying from Carvana I do not think I will ever buy a car from anywhere else.

My experience with Carvana began with the trade of my 2025 Nissan Frontier for a 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee. From the trade-in process to the pick up and delivery, the process was seamless. Then, five days later, as I attempted to leave for work, the 2026 Jeep would not start and began displaying multiple failure messages/codes. In all, there were 21 failure codes. In a panic, I called Carvana, explained the situation and let them know that I did NOT want to keep this vehicle. Since I was within the 7-day return window, they explained my options. They were most patient with me and walked me step-by-step through the exchange process. Within a few minutes, I had selected a replacement vehicle and had the delivery scheduled for the following morning. The process was again seamless. The only complaint that I have regarding my experience isn't with Carvana but with the company selected to tow the inoperable vehicle.

To make a very long story short, the tow company initially reached out at 10:15 p.m. to say they arrive within the hour to retrieve the inoperable vehicle. However, they did not arrive at my home to retrieve the inoperable vehicle until 2:40 a.m. Yep, 2:40 IN THE MORNING. Lights flashing, backup alarm sounding, chains rattling then the vehicle being drug out of a garage. I. Was. Livid. The following morning, I placed a call to Carvana to relay my experience. They were most apologetic and assured me that was not the norm.

When the replacement vehicle arrived a short time later, the driver asked me to again tell my experience with the tow company, which I did. He was appalled, most apologetic, and assured me that was not how Carvana conducted business. Other than the fact that I had to return a brand new 2026 Jeep due to 21 failure codes then was jolted from bed at 2:40 a.m. by a tow truck in my driveway, my experience with Carvana themselves was great. The Jeep failure and unacceptable time of the tow company's arrival were no fault of Carvana. I have recommended them to several people and will use them again in the future.

Terrible experience. First, the Carvana sales team couldn't verify our [certified] check, why?, they were calling the wrong bank! Second, picked up the vehicle, drove it 37 miles (halfway home) and it broke down (this is after their thorough inspection). Called Carvana to go and get the vehicle, we no longer wanted it. We were told we would be responsible for any towing fees over $200.00. They had a towing company come and pick up the vehicle and after a couple of conversations we were told we would not be responsible for any towing fees. How nice. Here it comes... we were then told it would be 10 to 15 days before they could process the refund. I will always recommend anyone looking to purchase a vehicle to anywhere but Carvana. On one of the replies from customer service they stated "we are sorry you got all the way home with your new car and then had problems...". They have no clue, all canned responses.

The process to get the car was easy but once I pushed the purchase button my car was delayed 2 weeks, when it got here the one dent that they highlighted was not the only issue. I took 12 cosmetic damage pictures of the paint. The car was dusty and dirty on the inside. It was definitely not detailed. Then when I cleaned the windshield there are 3 chips in the glass and one is significant. I called Carvana while the delivery driver was here because he said he has never had a car delivered so dirty and with so much cosmetic damage that was not mentioned during the purchase. So I finally got a person on the line and they said I could submit only 3 issues for their insurance coverage. I told them I have 12. What I did submit was approved for coverage which is a plus but when I submitted the windshield I was told I need to fix it myself as it’s not significant enough.

Why would you deliver a car with windshield issues? And then expect me to fix it!! So then my husband found it unacceptable and spent the day calling Carvana and finally got to the right place. They offered $650 to fix the windshield. It’s been a week. I love the car and hope the cosmetic repairs go smoothly with their insurance coverage. Because if it doesn’t get taken care of my rating will change to it being a terrible experience after the online portion.

I purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler and paid $280 for delivery, which was scheduled for Sunday from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. At 11:08 p.m. the night before — less than 12 hours before my appointment — Carvana notified me that the delivery was canceled because their transportation driver called out. Instead of finding another solution, my delivery was pushed all the way to Wednesday, leaving me waiting another three days.

What makes this especially frustrating is everything Carvana required from me to make this transaction happen. I already had a Jeep Grand Cherokee purchased through Carvana that was still within its 7-day Money Back Guarantee. Because Carvana would not allow two transactions to be open at the same time, they required me to sign paperwork voluntarily ending my Grand Cherokee’s 7-day guarantee early before they would move forward with the Wrangler.

On top of that, I was required to make my $540 first payment on the Grand Cherokee early, even though it wasn’t due until September 30, because that was also necessary for them to proceed with the new transaction. I did everything Carvana asked of me — gave up the remainder of my return period, made a $540 payment weeks early, paid $280 for delivery, and arranged my schedule around the appointment. Then, with less than 12 hours’ notice, Carvana failed to hold up their end of the transaction and simply rescheduled me three days later.

Customer service was polite, but I was essentially told that all they could do was reach out to their logistics partner. For a company built around making car buying convenient, this has been anything but convenient. I understand that employees call out and unexpected things happen. What I don’t understand is why one driver calling out becomes the customer’s problem to absorb entirely, particularly after everything Carvana required me to do to ensure the transaction could proceed.

I was genuinely excited about purchasing this Wrangler. Unfortunately, the way Carvana has handled the delivery has turned what should have been an exciting experience into an incredibly frustrating one. All the liability is on the customer, and if they don’t deliver on their promises it’s simply a sorry with nothing to make it right. I’d think twice about signing anything with them without asking for questions.

I call them that morning just to be sure my car was actually going to show up (thank god I did) and then suddenly spring on me that they can't deliver the car on the agreed date because of some esoteric nonsense about needing to ask my bank questions which they could have done in the previous 3 days but are suddenly now choosing to do on the day my bank is closed. Again, this is all with absolutely no warning from Carvana that my car isn't going to be delivered on the agreed upon date. Almost drove 2 hours for nothing, all the plans I made with mechanics etc are thrown off, terrible communication from them and all I get from their representative is "Oopsie".

I purchased a 2026 Ram 1500 from Carvana and when it came time to deliver the vehicle, the driver called and left a voicemail since apparently the number they called from was flagged as spam, so my spam protector won’t let it through. I was waiting on the truck but then I get a text from Carvana saying that I had rejected the truck, I never saw the truck, and then they said they would refund me the money in 10 to 15 days or I could repurchase the truck in about 5 days after it was checked out and reentered into their system, I had to purchase insurance for it before they would even start the buying process. The driver left me a voicemail saying that they were parked away from the apartment and never once tried to make contact in person, as I was waiting for it to arrive. Carvana is nothing but a rip-off.

2014 Black Toyota 4runner **. Ordering the vehicle was fine. Delivery was even perfect. The issue is the vehicle had severe corrosion underneath. Never was disclosed and really should've never sold vehicle like this. Came from NC and I immediately had it inspected in VA. So glad I did or would've been stuck with the vehicle. The inspector was surprised Carvana allowed such and even advised if any issue he would get his VA State police officer involved. The whole frame should be completely removed and new installed.

Sad thing is they literally offered the vehicle back for sale at about 2k less. Currently is pending and I hope the person who purchases checks underneath well and Durant go through with purchased. For them to do a 150pt inspection and still offer such for sale is ridiculous and unethical. I have several pictures to prove corrosion as well. They did take back due to the 7 day return policy as I called within couple hours of delivery. That process was also a hassle in the amount of time I was in phone and time missed from work. Buyer beware!!

Can it be less than 1 star? My first experience with Carvana was selling my 2007 BMW convertible in mint condition. I sold it in July 2026. The process was easy – now I think disturbingly so. They plugged the car into a computer, but never drove it, and just asked ā€œdoes the top workā€ without ever testing it. I then purchased a 2022 BMW 840i convertible from Carvana for $64,400 including taxes and non-refundable shipping.. It has a beautiful and unique grey/blue color and 16,700 miles. These are very hard to find with such low mileage. It was a seemingly very good price for a beautiful car. I picked it up on Monday August 3rd, 2026. It was then at the BMW dealership undergoing repairs for a month, and it was finally delivered to me by BMW on September 4, 2026.

Here is the story: When I picked the car up and began to drive it, I immediately noticed the car was vibrating through the steering wheel, particularly on the highway. I drove it right from the Carvana location to my local BMW dealer, where I had scheduled a service inspection to make sure the vehicle was in proper condition. When I drove into the service bay, the lasers picked up various scratches and dents in the lower part of the vehicle. When they lifted the car for inspection, they found four key defects in 5 minutes:

      • ALL four wheels were bent – hence the vibration
      • One tire was replaced with the wrong tire (at 9,000 miles, so too early for normal wear)
      • Another tire had inner wear and tread separation (from the bent wheels)

      • The underbody shield was damaged and a large portion missing

The car had obviously been in an accident, where it ran off the road, damaged the underbody, bent all four wheels and punctured the one that was replaced. Obviously, Carvana never paid any attention when they presumably drove the vehicle, never inspected it effectively and never took any measures to repair it. So, their multipoint inspection is a joke. The total bill was $8,365!!

Then, the fun starts with THEIR insurance carrier SilverRock. You have to deal with them yourselves, its not Carvana’s problem. BMW and I had to wait for SilverRock to show up four days later and decide what to cover. They decided to cover a portion of the wheels (not the cost of BMW wheels, which is what I bought), but said missing panels in the underbody were ā€œcosmeticā€. They wouldn’t cover the two new tires required. They covered $4,400.

I had been on several calls with Carvana. Customer service is very nice, but essentially useless. They just apologize very nicely. They say you can return the vehicle, but that means I lose $1,500 in the non-refundable delivery fee, plus the $550 it cost to have BMW perform an inspection. Then they say they will talk to ā€œleadershipā€ and leadership will call me back. They never did. I called repeatedly and asked to speak to ā€œleadershipā€. It’s like the man behind the curtain.

Leadership doesn’t speak directly to customers, they just relay messages back, and then customer service representative tells you how sorry they are. I asked that Carvana cover the cost of the underbody damage that they didn’t disclose (knowing full well the car had been in an accident, which was obvious) amounting to $1,200. Leadership told the customer service representative to tell me to me to pound sand. So, I can return the car and lose $2,050, or I can keep the car and pay. $4,000. Fortunately, BMW made some adjustments and discounts and narrowed the ā€œreturn-keepā€ gap to roughly $1,000. It helped that I had bought 6 vehicles from this BMW dealer, otherwise I would not have received this generosity. So, I decided to keep the car on the last day of the return period. More fun followed.

When I picked up the car, an error message showed that the convertible top would not close securely. The technicians looked at the car, drove it, and determined a sensor was faulty. I’m now past the return period. But I have the 90 day warranty, and more fun with SilverRock. It took another week to fix the convertible top. SilverRock covered most of it, but I had to pay BMW the $350 deductible, which they dropped to $250 for pain and suffering.

Given the track record of the car, and the lack of trust in anything that Carvana did to inspect the car or correct any obvious damage, I will probably have to purchase an extended warranty from BMW for my sanity. This will cost about $6,000. My good deal at $64,400, has ballooned to a purchase costing $74,650, an extra $10,250. I should have known after the cavalier way they bought my car.

So, what do I think of buying a car from Carvana. NEVER EVER. Don’t ever buy a car of any value from these people. It’s a sham and they are horrible. They do not perform credible inspections; they don’t talk to their customers when issues arise (except to say sorry); ā€œleadershipā€ are cowards, and they hide behind a third-party insurance carrier when things go wrong. If they were a dealer, they would be subject to ā€œlemon lawsā€ but they can skirt those apparently. This is the ultimate ā€œbuyer bewareā€ company to deal with. STAY AWAY.

I am in love with my Jeep gladiator. Working with Carvana was amazing. It could not have been more simple. They have so many vehicles to choose from. Once I found the one I wanted I hit the get started button and within 40 minutes I was approved. Had my insurance and the paperwork to print out for registration. 5 days later I picked up my jeep. They even out a big bow on it. It was not only easy it was fun as well. The vehicle is exactly as described. I could not be happier. I will definitely use carvana for my next vehicle purchase.

It was a very straightforward and simple process. I was very skeptical too so when it ended up being very easy it was a nice surprise. I will say that I researched a lot and did a significant amount of ground work like making sure all my name and address information matched and that required documentation was pre-loaded in files; basic things. But the highlight was Red, our delivery driver. They were so friendly, kind, and helpful. They were careful, cautious, and made us feel at ease with the handover. Such a lovely person on the hottest day ever!

Advertised with options but not there. 3rd item - I had my son purchase a car to save on the bs title problem. 4th item - Upload insurance id cards to Carvana website. The drop off driver asked again for id cards and policy.

Just purchased a 2019 Toyota Camry. My 2nd Carvana vehicle. 1st- the fact that you give a customer a deadline to upload proof of insurance OVER A WEEKEND, is insane. Why not give a BUSINESS day deadline? I don't know what insurance company you use, but insurance offices are closed on the weekends. Inconsiderate. I was forced to abandon my 1st selection and choose another vehicle. And your ADVOCATE response time is unacceptable. I was really upset with the entire experience, but luckily I found another car that fit my wishes the following week. In spite of this experience, I STILL recommended Carvana to a close friend. We are both traveling to Philly today to pick up his new Bronco.

Very poor experience. I purchased a Kia Soul. Delivery was delayed a week due to a sensor issue. I was ok with that and glad it was being fixed. It arrived the following week without a hitch and drove fine the first time. However, the second time, it went into limp mode. Either another sensor went out or it was the same sensor. Since it was within the 7 day exchange period, I exchanged it for another Kia Soul. I’ve had this one for 2 months and the transmission already needs work. Unfortunately, I was unable to drive the car within the 7 day period. Because Silver Rock is calling it a maintenance issue, I am out of pocket for $500. I will never purchase from Carvana again. Either they do not test their vehicles or they do and knowingly sell vehicles with issues without warning their customers first.

Purchased a 2025 Altima. Great car, but I noticed the spoiler was pulling away from the trunk (adhesive failing). Took it to Nissan, but they said it was an aftermarket repair. Contacted Carvana, but because it was passed the 7 day reporting window, they wouldn't fix it. I found out the repair was done 3 months before I purchased the vehicle (after an accident) so this issue was starting before I bought the car. Carvana did not want to take responsibility for this, which is sad, because my buying experience was great! Not sure if I'd purchase from them again.

Do not be fooled. Carvana was great until the sale was complete. Then all I get is a harassing chatbot. Carvana is refusing to register my car (breach of contract) because they insist I need to take the car I just purchased from them, (hasslefree) and get an emission test. I do not live in Phoenix or Tucson which are the only areas in Arizona that require it. I also do not commute to either. It has been a total harassing nightmare since.

They need to be more consistent in allowing down payments across vehicles. The first car they delivered was so rusty underneath. I didn't even let come off the truck and had it returned. Financing is through a third party which was not disclosed at purchase. I had the impression that Carvana was Financing. When the real Finance company contacted me. The phone number came up as a potential scam. That did not instill a lot of confidence in the purchase through Carvana. There was a slight mechanical problem with the car so I was going to have them fix it. It was a big hassle to deal with the approved vendors. Which my phone also cautioned me about being sketchy. No wonder Carvana stock is dropping.

The car was delivered with a cracked windshield that Carvana would not repair. The Jeep Compass remained in the parking lot for almost 2 weeks before anyone came to pick it up. Customer Service said a cracked windshield was cosmetic and would not do the repair on the Trax. I will not waste my time in the future with Carvana. You pay a lot for shipping; it's time-consuming to talk repeatedly to customer service, not sure what happened with Carvana; what used to be a reputable business has really been disappointing this time around.
