We purchased Ally Premier Protection from our Nissan Dealer for our 2025 Pathfinder. After we thought about the coverage, we canceled the coverage the next day after we purchased the Pathfinder. As all similar Extended Service Warranties, they really don't provide a lot of coverage, during the Mfr's warranty period. So, during the first 36-60 months, you don't receive a huge benefit, relative to the price of the policy - which was $4000 in our case. And... Ally "depreciates" your premium every day after the first 60 days over the remaining term of the policy (eg. 60-120 months, or so). Since we don't keep our vehicles beyond about 48-60 months, we would not likely receive $2000 worth of service benefits, during our ownership (half the $4000 premium). So - it made no sense to keep the policy. Ally did honor their policy to refund the entire amount of our $4000 premium (if canceled within the first 60 days) - they appear to be trustworthy.

When a mechanical breakdown happened, I took my Mercedes to a Mercedes Benz Dealership, I bought the Mercedes from an independent used vehicle store so was skeptical about the warranty coverage. It ended up being super a super expensive repair that was Ally covered no questions asked. I paid my 200 dollar deductible and that was it... I honestly could not believe how easy it was. The Mercedes dealer was also familiar with Ally and said the claim process was easy... I also got reimbursed for the rental I had to get.. albeit only 30 dollars a day.
