The associate, Chris was knowledgeable and friendly and helped me through the purchase of an extended warranty for my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4 door V6, 2 wheel drive. The price was workable for me PER month and I feel that it will be good for me when original warranty expires on my truck.

I give Ken high marks in salesmanship. Having been a salesperson myself for my career, and a manager of an international sales force, Ken would have been a welcome addition to my team. He is knowledgeable about his product as well as knowledgeable about when to do a soft sale. I admire salespeople who are really capable and demonstrate it when they have a skeptical customer. He won me over with knowing my history with CARCHEX and reviewing why I had left as a customer. The first rule in salesmanship so as not to oversell your product.

I was pleased with the approach to the sales process that valued concise information over sales tactics. I'm a retired sales professional so I know the difference. The pricing structure was reality based from the start instead of promising discounts from an inflated starting point. I got a warranty in April and my O2 sensor just went out and they denied the claim. When I called to ask why it was denied the Rep said because air fuel sensor is not covered. Well, I talked to several different mechanics who all told me the same thing, the air fuel sensor is a newer terminology for 02 sensor. Rep was not helpful or knowledgeable. I had the dealership submit the claim again under a 02 sensor. The dealership said they came back and CARCHEX would only cover 240 dollars!

In speaking with Ms. LaShawna ** on Thursday, June 29th, it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Upon my returning her call, I was able to express what I was looking for because I had conducted research on my own. I explained that I did not want to speak with a representative without having some facts under my belt. She went through the process in details. I told her that I wanted to make sure the Honda dealership would accept the vehicle service contract. She assured me that they would, but I explained that I wanted them to confirm that fact. The cost was surprising to me. I had to ask several times if I was hearing correctly.

Sales rep was a bit persistent but every good sales rep knows it usually takes seven contacts before a customer buys or not. The product offers great coverage and the pricing was in order. I would recommend CARCHECK to a friend.

I had this car warranty plan with my previous car, and used it quite a few times in the 4 years. I'm sure it paid for itself a few times over with the repairs to my Pontiac Torrent. The Pontiac is still running strong, thanks in part to timely repairs since I didn't have to save up lots of money to get it fixed. Only $100 for a copay on all work done.

I been looking to get car insurance for awhile at Carchex. Was the best price and coverage. Hands down. I've got a quote from all the big name companies and I kept comparing them to carchex. I've had car insurance before and they only allow you to use certain mechanics. No car rental or roadside service.

I was actively looking for an extended warranty for a handicap accessible van that I had recently purchased. I had a plan to get at least 3 estimates. The first company I contacted was among the top 3 rated companies but the representative was a little pushy and only offered a discount if I signed up that day. Did not like that approach. I submitted a request for a quote to Carchex and received a call from a very informative and professional gentleman. He was very helpful and did not pressure to sign up that day. He emailed me information which allowed me to discuss with our son and we set a time for a callback the next day. I was extremely pleased with the entire process and did do a contract with Carchex. Would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking an extended warranty for their vehicle.

I am a new client. I had shopped around and ask a few friends about Carchex. I found that the 2nd gentleman addressed my concerns which was price and activation time. There wasn't any hassle and Drama while dealing with them. Now we shall see what the future gives.

I purchased a 5 year/60K warranty for my Mercedes CLS 550. Dan ** was the representative who had helped me and answered my questions. I had checked with two of your competitors and although the CARCHEX warranty was more expensive by approximately 1,000.00, I bought because of Dan. He was thorough in his explanation, no pressure, and I felt like I trusted his representation of CARCHEX more than the others that I spoke with.

Purchase of Extended Warranty - Chris ** was very helpful. The problem I have is that you cannot pay online. When you try to pay online with a credit card it won't go through. I tried many times over a 3 day period. Finally I did it over the phone with Chris.

This was a easy and good experience. The sales rep was very easy to talk to and he was very helpful. I was pleased to be offered a 48 month 80000 coverage on my vehicle. It was a little more than needed but for the price it is just right. The transaction was completed in a timely fashion.

Stay away. You are not buying from Carchex but from who they sell you to!!! Carchex experience was great and the only reason I bought from them was these stupid reviews... But the fact of the matter is they are a broker and sold my service contract to Royal Admin Services. Wanna have fun, look at that company's feedback.... My first claim denied, my 2nd claim denied and was told preexisting. The BMW shop has been in business over 40yrs, a family owned mom/pop and they tried to explain their findings were a joke. Do not buy from these guys unless they tell you exactly who your warranty provider will be, then Google that company's review... Unhappy, unhappy, unhappy. Will post anywhere I possibly can to cause your company negative feedback!!!

I just purchased a warranty for my 2012 Audi S5. The specialist named Kenisha was absolutely a pleasure to deal with as I processed my options while it came to selecting a suitable warranty for my vehicle. Unlike other warranty companies who have poor customer service CARCHEX didn't. Hopefully my claim process (if ever) will go as smooth as the selection process.

I needed to acquire an extended plan for my 2007, Mercedes E550 4Matic. The receptionist, who goes by the name Niki, was very helpful. She patiently answered all my questions and was adept in explaining the different plans. I was able to choose a plan that would meet my needs.

I dealt with Andrew **. He was great and answered all my questions about a warranty for my husband's car. My dad referred me to this company for the warranty, since the dealerships charge a ridiculous amount. The warranty also covers labor and just has a $100 deductible with is awesome!

I purchased this warranty for my vehicle, and unfortunately I had the unpleasant experience within the first month to have to put in a claim or maybe a true blessing. My situation started 32 days into warranty, 1000 miles, 1 payment received and 2nd en route. My vehicle began having some serious mechanical complication while driving so I pulled over and notified roadside assistance Carchex provided me with. I proceeded to contact the representative from roadside assist, the initial conversation that took place started out basic. What was the problem with vehicle, what was my location, then the complete chaos started.

I was told I had 30 days to review and cancel but was immediately charged to my account the same day! Then I was unable to get Carolyn to answer the phone to cancel. I have to go through the bank to stop payment on this transaction!

Shanita ** provided excellent customer service. Her initial and subsequent calls were professional, prompt, thorough and friendly!!! I value great customer service, and I feel Shanita demonstrated just that... Until I have a need to submit a claim, I will not be able to speak to the effectiveness of the warranty. However, if warranty service it is on the same level of service provided by Shanita, I am confident I will be satisfied.

Excellent customer service from Dan and a very refreshing attitude during the whole process. He was very patient with me and made sure I understand fully what I was getting and the amount of coverage I had on my vehicle and also made it very affordable.

This company has been a nightmare!!! First I was told lifters was not a lubricated part of an engine!!! Once they figured out it was they now are still doing everything they can to deny me by telling me I had to provide EVERYTHING I have had done to my car since I purchased my car which was 2014. Once I explained that I only had to provide proof from the date of purchase of my Warranty I sent them in by fax on Monday. It's 3 days later and now I'm told they want the shop to open my engine and if they deny it I'm stuck with that bill, my rental car and I have missed work due to the fact I'm waiting on them to actually do their job.

The person whom I spoke with was very polite. Answered all questions with patience and great knowledge. I did not get the coverage the same day I called. There was no pressure. I like my coverage although it could be a lil cheaper. Other than that I now have a peace of mind. Thank you for your business.

I contacted 2 or 3 aftermarket warranty companies and the service person selling their coverage package seemed very knowledgeable and nice. The price seemed very fair and complete, so let's see how it goes if I have a claim! I gave them 4 out of 5 stars. I will be glad to change that to a 5 if claims are taken care of!

My only experience with CARCHEX has been with the young man that sold me the coverage. His name is Ryan **, he was very professional, very friendly and most important he listened to me when I talked, it was a pleasure doing business with him.

The representative that helped me was extremely knowledgeable when promoting the service plan. It was a great deal and I decided to invest in the program. The deals that was offered was excellent, the representative was very understanding when it came to me asking several questions regarding the service plan.

Customer service was fabulous. Sean was outstanding. I am a repeat customer with two policies. One for me & one for my wife. I generally don't believe in extended warranties, but after a review of your Titanium policy, I was sold.

This was truly a different experience! Despite my concerns about scam extended warranties, I embarked on a search that led me to Carchex and Karen **. The terms of the warranty are thorough and I had it on good advice that the company behind the warranty was easy to work with, hence the 5-star rating. Now, a bit about Ms. **... Never in my 67 years have I had to deal with a sales person like her. If I could give her 10 on a 1-5 scale I would do it! Waaay too pleasant, considerate and polite to be a phone sales rep. I realized my Warranty had expired when I started receiving offers from companies that offer extended warranties. I realized that I will be keeping my present car (5 years old, with 63,000 miles) for another 5 years minimum, so I started researching extended car warranties online using Google search. The search revealed two companies that were both 5 star rated. After speaking with both companies I went with Carchex. They were by far the most informative, the most relaxed, and the most helpful. I must have spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with James ** (Carchex), and because of the time, the approach, and what the policy offered, I felt very positive about purchasing a service policy with Carchex for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Because of James **, Carchex's 5 star rating and the ability to use the policy at any car repair in the U.S., with 24-hour help, plus towing, I just could not pass it up.

With a month left under warranty my truck suffered engine damage due to a failed injector and they will not cover the repairs. I completely understand injectors are not covered by my policy but the motor is; the issue is under exclusions in my policy there is nothing about if an uncovered part causes damage the covered part will be excluded. There are plenty of exclusions in there, lack of coolant (busted heater or radiator hose, etc), failure to maintain the vehicle etc but that is simply not in the wording of my contract. I feel like the engine should be covered but anything else outside of that should be my responsibility such as replacing the injector(s), plug, coil, or cat converter if it burned up etc. They need to recognize the wording in my contract and replace the engine or show me the exact wording under exclusions that does not allow for this.

Purchase a warranty from CARCHEX. After my waiting period my engine mount in my truck broke so I made a claim and it was denied! They said there's no way my engine mount should have failed in approximately three months of purchasing my warranty.

Carchex is a terrible company and will rob you blind. They charged me $4,000 for a warranty on my BMW and when my turbos went out, they would only pay for me to replace them with junk yard parts, and would only pay domestic labor rates. I drive a BMW and they want to only pay what labor on a Honda or Ford is. When I Called they were not helpful at all, and actually rude. Don't waste your time or money. This place is a scam.

I purchased the Warranty in June 2016 and filed a claim per the Dealer commendation, in November to be denied. I've paid 1,055.68 and requested to cancel this service with a refund and was told my refund would be 210.06 after deductions and it would take 45 days to process. This is one of the biggest scams I've been involved in. They would not cover any of the repairs and would not give an explanation. The sentinel plan is a rip off along with Carchex.

Carchex denied me three times on different claims. I'm done with this company and advise anyone who is thinking of getting a warranty with them don't risk it. I give them no stars. I hope Carchex does see my post. I'm very disappointed, they're full of crap.

I guess if you are looking for catastrophic insurance, this may be a good bet. However, in my case, I take my car to a very reputable dealer (in business since 1968) whom I trust. When I take it in for minor repairs that appear to me to be clearly covered by the warranty, CARCHEX continually refuses to pay standard dealer labor rates and insists that if they can find the part cheaper, that's what they'll pay for the part. That can be an off-beat part manufactured in who-knows-where, a reconditioned part or a part that they found on EBAY. Their determination of what is "normal maintenance" (which they won't pay for) and whether they will pay for a repair covered by the warranty is always up to them and, believe me, they come down on their side every time with a decision. These people know how to play the insurance game better than you or I so, be sure you know what you are buying!

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WARRANTY. Just found out they do not cover a Valve Seal Leak because of this exclusion found in the last sentence of exclusion #5 on all their contracts, "...ANY REPAIR WHEN THE SOLE PURPOSE IS TO RAISE THE VEHICLES ENGINE COMPRESSION OR TO STOP EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION". Mind you I have their most comprehensive coverage. However this exclusion can be applied to any cause resulting in burning oil. In addition, the parts cost they cover is below the price I would pay at a part store. You will be sorry if you purchase a warrant from CARCHEX!

Purchasing a plan from CARCHEX was easy, and they're very helpful. Their rep showed me that I have 30 days to get my money back, if I decided not to go on with it anymore. Everything went very well. I like the fact that they work with the actual dealerships of the vehicles. It can be through another accredited shop, but they work along with the dealerships. So that means it's going to be actual Ford, or whatever manufacturer's part.

The Carchex reps were very informative and pleasant on the phone and I got my package in a timely manner. But then I realized I had a problem as I had already paid for a different extended package when I bought my vehicle so I didn't need the Carchex warranty anymore. I then called CARCHEX back and explained what I had done and they were very cordial and sent me the paperwork right away and got the cancellation taken care of immediately. So that was wonderful.

I have a very expensive vehicle and in case of a much needed repair, I didn’t wanna it to be out of my pocket. I searched all warranty companies and noticed that CARCHEX had a better plan and quality of what I needed for this particular truck. The sales rep was also great.

The cars now are like computers, and I've been very lucky thus far. The plan was attractive enough, and having an auto warranty seems a good idea. I never know what's going to happen to a vehicle. I'm at 86 days, 7,000 miles, and things start breaking down within the next 15,000 miles and it's good to have that little bit of coverage. I got my warranty from Carchex and my experience has been pretty good.

I've spoken to CARCHEX a few months ago and I’ve been meaning to call them back to purchase an extended warranty through them but I lost the number. Their rep happened to call me last week and it was good to hear from him because I was actually wanting to do it. He explained to me what it covers and sent me an email of the contract of what it covers in detail. I'd never know when I might need to use an extended coverage for my vehicle so I got the powertrain warranty, and I would recommend it.

The one thing that always gets me is when a salesman is cocky but not cocky. They’re very thorough, competent and know they could answer any question I got and the guy from Carchex rep did. I was also very impressed with the price. Those other places want at least $250 upfront and $300 a month but not Carchex. The product pretty much sold itself and I just bought an extended warranty a few days ago. It’s for a V6 that we’ve done some work on. Considering that the car is going to my 16-year old daughter in seven months, having the vehicle protection plan is very valuable since we don't know what's going to happen.

I currently have a vehicle with an extended coverage but it's going to expire within a year. It's very valuable to have coverage to eliminate cost in the future. It’s a gamble and I may not need it but I want to have the peace of mind. I went ahead and looked at my options from different companies with coverage and my interactions with the protection specialist from Carchex was really good. She was very, very helpful. She explained everything about the product and the options.

The extended warranty on my car had expired in July. It's essential to have a vehicle protection plan in case of something happening and it was easy to buy the Carchex protection plan. The only problem I had when purchasing it, and I can't say it came from Carchex, is that after I gave my financial institution information, my bank account was compromised. But other than that I’m happy with my experience. Their reps were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Having the extended warranty is very valuable to me because it means I wouldn’t have to pay a whole lot of money for repairs and make car payments at the same time. Overall, I've had a very satisfactory experience with Carchex and I would recommend it.

CARCHEX seemed like a good company. They got an office that's not too close and I don't have to deal with anybody in another state. I like the overall experience of talking to the customer service agent. He was knowledgeable, courteous and excellent. Any questions I had to ask, he always had the answer. I would recommend them.

We took a vacation and we wanted to make sure nothing happened so we got an extended coverage from CARCHEX. I called four other ones and CARCHEX had the best customer service, hands down. A rep from another company got snarky with me and almost hung up on me.

CARCHEX did an excellent job and as long as they’re what they say they are, I will be doing a lot of business with them. They're all right with me if there’s a number one company that represents well on everything from tire, road hazards, brake and all that good stuff. Their rep Justin was courteous considering that folks are just not as respectful as they should be.

I purchased that warranty from Carchex. After 2 months the check engine light went on then I went to the certified Acura dealer. They diagnosed the car and found internal transmission problem that needs to be replaced the transmission. The dealer called the Carchex and they said it is covered but they have to send their own inspector. He came and checked the car and turned the check engine light off and disputed the claim saying the dealership denied to let him use their tools. When I talked to the dealership they said this never happened. When I called the Carchex they said the dealer trying to make money and they will not pay for the part that supposed to be covered by the contract. So do not waste your time and money.

Having a vehicle protection plan is really valuable because the car starts messing up after one gets finished paying for it. With Carchex, I paid for two years and got a five-year deal. Their staff treated me real good. He answered all the questions that needed to be answered and I actually thought I was talking to one of my buddies at one point. He told me that my deductible is only $100 and then everything is paid for and I liked that.

CARCHEX has good service and I've never had a problem. I have three vehicles covered by them currently and also had one before. Everything that's covered has been covered. Whenever I've taken a car in, my service advisor takes care of the problem. I've recommended CARCHEX to a couple of people who would’ve taken advantage of it.

Be prepared to pay for a portion of the Parts for your repairs. They will NOT cover the full cost of parts. They do cover the labor - but I would expect that. They will search online for After Market parts and will only cover the costs of what they find online at the time... It could be a part on eBay. I had to have struts and strut suspension replaced, they only covered half the costs of the parts. This work requires an alignment. They won't cover any of that. If you're looking for a warranty to cover the labor for your repairs and half the costs of your parts, then this company is for you. If you expect the full costs of your parts and labor covered (like most warranty companies do), then you need to stay away from Carchex!

I just bought a new car and I have an extended auto warranty through the dealership but I wasn't satisfied with what they charge and what it covered so I decided to do it on my own. I'm a returning CARCHEX customer. They have a good product, good price, and rate is real, real good. I checked with my dealership and they recommended them. Having a vehicle protection plan is valuable as it helps with the expenses. Everybody at CARCHEX has been great but it’s real hard ever getting through to anybody on the phone. They need to up their customer service as far as answering the phones. I called several times to try to get coverage. I needed to cancel coverage because I sold the vehicle and I wanted to add another vehicle. It took me almost a week to get through. I had hold times in excess of an hour and I’ve sent several emails. I finally got their customer service manager's email and I sent there. Then I got a phone call the next morning.

Carchex was pretty much the only one that I knew about and the platinum protection sounded good that's why I went with it in case things happen with my car. The rep was very helpful and told me what follows with the plan, if I needed any roadside assistance, etc.

The representative from CARCHEX that I spoke to was pretty good and kept calling me about the warranty. The price seemed reasonable. The purchasing experience was good and I didn't have a problem. I was satisfied.

I was against the extended warranty because with my dealership, it didn't sit well with me that I had to pay an enormous amount of money. I have a 490 note and if my car breaks down, it may be about $1,500 to $2,000 worth of work and I’ll be jammed up. I don't want to be in that position. I would rather stay in the $185 monthly and be protected as opposed to not being protected.

Spoke to Cory ** at CarChex and he was very thorough, reassuring and informative. He answered all questions and covered any concerns that we would have in regards to purchasing an extended warranty. All of my research shows that CarChex is a solid company with ample net worth and that is what you want when purchasing an extended warranty. There are too many companies that promise a great plan, take your money and then go out of business. CarChex is not one of those companies. They have been in business for 18 years and backed by an insurance company that has been in business 121 years. They are not going anywhere. I would definitely recommend to anyone. They also have a $100 deductible PER VISIT, not per claim, which is what some companies do to reduce their exposure. I look forward to the peace of mind this policy brings and will update any and all experiences that we have with CarChex. I was initially a little skeptical about this extended warranty company. I have seen several scam companies offering extend warranty and back out when your car breaks down. I'm an automotive engineer and take pretty good care of my cars but still you never know when things start to fail. Had a 8 yr old BMW with very very low miles and I decided to try out CarChex for extended warranty. I had a colleague who gave me a good feedback on carchex based on his experience with his BMW. Ken from carchex helped me out with the initial quote, it was a little expensive compared to the BMW extended warranty but did cover few more things that BMW did not cover on their package.

I called and decided it was worth the monthly amount of they do actually pay out claims after your 30 day or 1000 miles. The only review I saw related to the pay out on claims was a very disappointed customer who had tried to have repairs done and was denied. It was kind of disheartening due to not finding any reviews from anyone else who actually used it or tried to use it. If anyone can shed some light on the legitness of them actually paying please enlighten me before I make a mistake of they deny a lot of claims then... Maybe I don't need it.

Their contract states they cover the steering rack, tie rods and stabilizer links and bushings but when they broke down refused to pay the repair bill of over $3,500.
