Enrolling with CARCHEX was fine. I liked their reviews and the pricing. The price is a little high compared to coverage I've done in the past. I haven't had it too long to know if it's good or not, but I like the peace of mind of not having to come out of pocket for potential repairs.

When my warranty ran out, it was too hard to reinstate it. Also, the price doubled. My brother-in-law, he's a finance officer at a car dealer, said that CARCHEX would be better than the dealer. The sign up process with CARCHEX was quick, and they had to put down a deposit, and that was it. It was okay.

I just started with Carchex and my sign-up experience was fine. Everything seems good.

I researched on the web the various different reviews of the providers, and CARCHEX seemed to have the best combination of the features that I wanted and price. The sign-up process was a little dodgy. I kept asking questions and saying I needed time to think, and they kept trying to pressure me, and the price kept coming down. So, while I got a good deal, it would have been a little more to my liking to have just been given what the good price was rather than it seemingly them fishing for suckers.

CARCHEX gave me a better rate than CarShield and CarShield screwed me over. Because they set it up, and they never pulled payment, and they were, "You no longer qualify for the platinum warranty and it's going to be $185 a month." I was, "No, it's not. Goodbye." I called CARCHEX and they were, "Oh, no, we'll do whatever. It's 130 or something." It was a lot better of a deal and the lady was super comfortable. She was nice and she helped out a lot. So I was, "All right. Fine." Signing up was simple and smooth. It was just, "Here's what we can give you. Here's how much it costs. What's your card number and how are you paying?"

I have a 10-year-old Cadillac with 123,000 miles on it. And the warranty that I originally had expired on it. I was looking online to see if I could continue the warranty, so I called a couple of companies up. AutoCheck was one of them. CarShield was another one. Zurich was another one. And Carchex was the best thing for the buck and the most amount of coverage. They were also straightforward. I was online when I was talking with them. When they would tell me a certain package, I was able to look up that warranty coverage package online.

An extended warranty might be a good thing to have, and I decided to get one because you never know when something could happen. I haven’t needed to use the coverage yet. I’m still within the first 30 days, and I’m still not certain that I’m going to keep Carchex.

The rep was very polite. He was consistent. He gave me options based on what I already had, because I wanted to compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges. Everything that's in there with these companies, like CARCHEX and Endurance, has so much fine print that you don't know everything that's covered and what's not covered. It's in the policy or the contract, but it is just so fine print tuned in areas that you know this is covered on page 7, but it relates to something that's on page 12. So, I'm hoping I got what I needed and I can move on. But the rep did a really good job during the sign up. Everything went well. He explained it to the best of his ability.

I talked to my mechanic about a car warranty program and he told me they’re all scams except for a few. He had worked with Carchex and had a positive experience. He said they’re reputable. He gave three different companies to look at and I called Carchex a couple of months ago and went with them. It was easy, and it was great dealing with the rep. They said there’s a 90-day period before it goes into full effect. But the car is fine, so I wasn't concerned about that.

I would recommend CARCHEX if you want an extended warranty. I had a lot of questions because I was exploring. Their rep explained in detail and gave me scenario-based things. She was good and informative. CARCHEX provided a monthly plan option instead of paying all at once. And you're investing way before. If something happens and I have to pay 10k out of my pocket all of a sudden, just to be on the safer side, to not fall into the bucket and have this extra guarantee to start paying even from before so that CARCHEX company can help pay for the cars.

It has been a month since I've had CARCHEX. I was worried about having problems with the transmission down the road. I have a certified used thing on the car, but it doesn't control any of the electronics within the transmission, and the transmission control module. CARCHEX was one of the few people in Massachusetts that covered. The car has 43,000 miles on it, so I wanted to keep it.

I hardly ever drive them anyway. They both sit most of the time. As far as their price, it was reasonable. Customer service is good, too.

I got the coverage next to the Platinum. I didn't get the highest one, but the deal that they gave me did make sense. I'm happy with what I got. I haven't had a chance to do a claim yet, but I think it's worth it for what I'm paying. I'm paying 69.99 per month. When I use it, it would be a deductible for a $1,000. After three months, then it'll be a $500 deductible.

I told him my mom had just passed away and I couldn't have him pressuring me. Then I thought I was just gonna go with Carchex ‘cause the other lady was nice. She was amazing. She was very kind and supportive, and there was no pressure, which is what I liked from her. She told me I could use the warranty after 4,000 miles or four months, and that was fine because we had an extended warranty with the dealership. The price was also reasonable from what I looked around.

CARCHEX worked pretty fast in setting up everything. They did everything pretty smoothly. The price is not bad. I like my coverage.

One thing that I would like to change is that I have not heard from CARCHEX, not online, not on TV, and not on radio, and not on paper.

And if we can beat it, I'm going to beat it for you.” It wasn't like, “Oh, we beat it by 50 cents, so go ahead.” So, the feel of honesty and the no bullshit , let's-get-this-done type of mentality really helped me out. The person I spoke to was great. So, they definitely did their job, even to the point where I actually got a quote for a second car.

I searched online, and I saw some reason to pick CARCHEX over the others. Their representative called me. It seems that he was pretty persistent and called me a few times. In a sales way, he was not rude, but he was aggressive to close the sale. Other than that, I was told it was $10,000 worth of repairs every month that I renew on cars. That would cover a whole lot of things. As far as payments, I like the monthly instead of a big lump sum in the beginning.

The first person who attended to my call was a pleasure to work with and gave me the information I needed. But I'm not sure if I'll continue with Carchex. I've been calling every day to find out how it’s going to work with my car. The rep told me that they would send the information about the policy in Spanish but I received it in English. I need to read it in Spanish. They also told me that I have 60 days to review and that if I agree, that’s okay. If I don't, I can call and make the final request.

I got Carchex two weeks ago and signing up with them was good. There was clear communication of what the product does. I got the powertrain coverage which is the Gold Plus 'cause my vehicle, an F-150, has high enough mileage. That's pretty much full coverage.

Bryant was the best Customer Service Rep I have ever had in my 44 years of living. He did everything I could hope for and was amazing to work with. Made changing, updating and cancelling policies so easy

I got a great price for the platinum coverage and I got a little off on some of the details, but it's all right. Either way it goes, it still works out. I've got my hard copy too.
