About CARCHEX
CARCHEX helps you purchase and maintain your car by offering various vehicle products, including extended auto warranties. Rather than offering its own plans, CARCHEX works with multiple third-party warranty providers. These vehicle service contracts cover repairs due to mechanical failures or malfunctions but not collisions. Plans also come with additional benefits like roadside assistance and towing.

I called Carchex and they started out with a high amount of money. I told them I wanted to take their highest plan, but I would not spend more than $99 a month. They gave me it for $99. They were very helpful. Not only did they send me an email and a text message telling me, "Welcome on board," but they're also sending me information coming in the US mail. They are on the ball as far as getting me with the information that I needed and what I'm gonna need.

The rep with Carchex went through all the different things with me. They cover so much more than the other companies. I like the fact that there is a high limit on the policy. I don't expect it to go up to that limit, but nevertheless, it's a peace of mind. I also like that it's active as long as I make a payment.

Carchex is the best extended warranty company. They live up to expectations and do what they say they're gonna do. Anything I had done to the car, they had it covered. All the dealership had to do was call them.

The rep told me that I would be covered with all my major issues if something ever went out, like my backup lights, backup camera, and radio. I have a hearing problem, so I put the call on speaker to hear better and my son was listening in the background. He said it sounded good to him and he was glad I got the extended warranty. The rep said the coverage would take effect as soon as he was able to finalize it with my payment. After I paid him, he sent me all the information and I printed out the paperwork. He said I would get them in the mail also. Besides that, I don't understand what I read on the papers. The information is saying I've gotta maintain the car, which I do. I would keep all the records and I've gotta make sure I didn't cause it to break down, that it did it on its own.
I wanted to get some kind of coverage where I would be able to take my car into a shop and get it fixed if it breaks down. My car isn't that old and I haven't had any problems with it. If it ever broke down though, like a major issue, I needed to make sure that it'd be covered because they cost quite a bit nowadays to get fixed. I have a friend at work that's looking at the same thing, but she doesn't know I got Carchex. I'm waiting for her to ask me and I'm gonna tell her it sounded all right with me, so I went ahead and got it because I have to have some kind of warranty after mine ran out to keep up with the maintenance on my car.

The rep told me all the info I needed to know. I didn't have to ask too many questions because she was very informative, and I liked her. I have roadside assistance and rental as perks. I've told a friend already. I recommend Carchex because it's affordable and people get good coverage on their car. I liked it when I heard about it. I have a nice car and I need that coverage. Anything could happen and I wanna keep my car going.

Carchex had a high rate and it was better than the ones I've been checking out. I asked if they had a shop that I could go to. I was told you could take the car to any shop you want to take it to. I got a package that covers the engine and the majority of everything. It covers really mostly what I need and it comes with oil changes. What they can't do, I'm not worried about it. I can always have my brother or somebody to look at it. The policy takes effect in 25 days.
I have a brother who is a mechanic and he said there are certain things that you would want for your cars and done for them. Some shops don't even want to do them anymore. If it's a major job, they don't wanna do it. An extended warranty is a good thing as it helps save people money. When the pandemic came, a lot of people's cars got messed up. They couldn't afford to pay for them because some of them were out of jobs. On the whole, Carchex sounds really good and I can pass it down to a family member. They're nationwide too.

CARCHEX was the first company I called and they offered me a veteran's discount. The rep was knowledgeable. There were some things we were confused about like the regular maintenance. If specific things weren't done with regular maintenance, I want to make sure they would still be covered. They said that it was covered. They would try to change the transmission fluid first. We would do that and flush it, and we're responsible for that and I understand that. But if that doesn't work, then they would cover the transmission. That was what he told us. I would recommend CARCHEX to friends.

My mother-in-law recommended CARCHEX and it was just good advice. She told me that it probably would be wise and get something that would cover me just in case something were to happen. Signing up with CARCHEX was convenient and it was very informational. They did great. At first, I was calling as I was curious but they sold me on it after a few phone calls.
I would refer CARCHEX and tell friends and family that I have coverage and they're pretty friendly people. But I will have to inform them I've never used it yet. There's a 25-day either/or 500-mile requirement. My fear is that six months down the road and something does go wrong, they won't handle it and I would be paying 150 a month for that. Other than that, everything in the paperwork sounds good. I got the works, roadside assistance, drivetrain, and pretty much everything. If I need something, I just call for the most part.

Having a vehicle protection plan is very valuable. I had one for five years and it was good. The one I had was $99 a month and I paid that for three years and I got two free. I had something go wrong in those two years like the refrigerant part on the air conditioner. I took it to the Chrysler place and it was $1,700. My insurance paid 14 and I paid 300. That was not bad. That expired and I looked online. Somebody called me and it had an Owensboro number. He said, "It seems you were online looking for car insurance. Let’s speak to somebody.” A guy came on and said, “This is CARCHEX.” He negotiated and gave me a good deal. CARCHEX is okay and I got it the other day. The sign-up was easy.

I just signed up with Carchex and I had a great experience with the young man who took care of me. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable and got me sold. He knew what he was doing and he was very pleasant. He was able to answer the questions I had. I would refer him because he knew what he was talking about. I was trying to keep the price right around 100 because I knew what fit my budget. He did what he could to work it out. It's a tad bit over 100 but I'm okay. Everything worked out perfectly. I made the right choice by getting the protection plan.

I checked out CARCHEX and ended up getting a quote from them that was within my budget. The representative did a great job. I told her what I was looking for as far as the warranty goes and she laid out exactly what the warranty would cover with what I was going to get for my 2014 Lincoln. She was very helpful.

Signing up with Carchex was easy. The sales rep wasn't pushy and he let me make my own mind up. He was very courteous and he knew his stuff. The car that I got coverage on is an '07. I was wanting a little bit more coverage. But with my car's age and mileage on it, I got most of what I wanted, but not everything. It didn't cover all electrical. But with Carchex, they do a month-to-month. So, you're not locked into a three-year contract or four. Your contract is good as long as you pay your monthly premium.

They have really good coverage, especially since we're getting close to the 100,000 miles. I was afraid that I wouldn't find something with the coverage and the deductible that Carchex has. It's really low. So it makes it easy, that if something were to happen, I don't have to wait to get paid. It's something that I could pay right out-of-pocket and actually afford.

The signing-up process was nice. Carchex gave me a call to confirm some of the details of my vehicle, to confirm the price and that I was eligible. They went over the disclosures, made sure I didn't have any questions, and then set up the first payment. There are two situations that I would apply for the coverage to take effect. It's after 24 days and 500 miles, and the other one is 60 days and 250 miles 'cause I told them I didn't drive a lot.
I don't know Carchex's entire pay structure and how their costs operate, but I work in the insurance industry for farmers. If people generally try to call in to get something that's currently wrong covered, then their business model is to accept payment then deny coverage for some reason. I'm concerned that Carchex won't cover me if something does happen, but as of right now, I haven't ran into anything. I'd tell people to check them out.

CARCHEX' coverage seemed it was better. The biggest factor is their sales rep. He was a great salesman. And in my line of business, it’s something I appreciate. So, The rep won me over. It was a very easy, smooth process going with him. He had a great sense of humor. He had all the information, made me feel very comfortable with them, so made me feel confident in going with them. And he gave me a great price. I had looked a bit online. And the next closest one is $50 more a month. So, he gave me a great deal. He made it hard to say no. Give them a look because I had a good experience so far. I started it up a couple of days ago, so I haven't had a claim and hopefully won't. But from what the rep explained to me, it seems like it's a painless process. So, if I end up having a claim, I'm not gonna get the runaround.

Carchex’s coverage was more comprehensive than the competitor and the contract I got was a month-to-month without limitations.

The representative I had was nice and he went through what their options were as far as coverage. The policy covers pretty much everything from the electronics in the cab, anything that's in oil, and if it's an internal part that causes something else to fail, then the whole thing is covered. I was surprised at the price for what they do cover. He gave me some discounts that I didn't expect. The only thing was he told me I had 20 days to put on 500 miles before the policy would be honored. I don't use the vehicle a lot but I've been using it a little bit more than I normally would have just to try and get those mileage on. Then, the policy came and it said 20 days and 500 miles or 40 days and 250 miles. The rep never said anything about the 40 days and 250 miles or I would have taken that one. It would have been a lot easier for me.

The rep I spoke with explained everything and answered the questions I had. My policy covers a powertrain, has free towing, and I can get a rental car. Plus, they gave me a pretty good deal since I'm a senior. The rate was at 149 with zero deductible, which sounds real nice. Then, I asked if they could do anything better than that. They asked me if I was a senior and they recalculated it and it came out to 119. I had a $30 saving.
