In all fairness, All My Sons gives every customer full disclosure prior to the move. If we have a fuel charge or if we are pricing by weight and mileage. We strive to give great customer service on every move. I personnally confirm my moves the day prior to the move. I go over what the charges are going to be. Moves are either weight and mileage or an hourly rate. The customer that said we bait and switch did not fully understand that her price was based on weight. She decided to put more items on the truck which in turn caused the weight to increase, therefore the price increases accordingly.
In the confirmation process we explain that it only goes up a certain amount per thousand pounds. We in no means doubled or bait and switched anyone. If the consumer could not understand that increased weight would cost her more than I have no idea what she was thinking. All My Sons in Birmingham has an A+ report with the BBB and we strive for customer satisfaction.
