I went in to have a noise addressed and came out w a bill of a couple thousand dollars and the noise still present. They called me few times telling me that if they fixed/replaced this or that it would solve the issue. After I'd pay the guy told me casually that he forgot to mention that a pump needed to be fixed as well. Another job that would have pushed the cost of repairs to 3 thousand dollars. I asked if the car could function a while w/out this repair and opted to address it later because I'd already paid an arm and a leg for the current ones.

Before I could even get home I noticed the care was making the same noise. I took the car back the next day and was told "oh, we'll have to take a deeper dive". No mention of offering a discount or any type of refund. So basically I was was expected to pay for the deeper dive. I left the car, but after getting several warnings from others and thinking about it I figured why should I pay again to fix something that I'd already paid to have fixed. What guarantee would I have that the issue would be fixed or another created in addition to that one.

I also noted that the when I referenced the pump that needed to be fixed it was a different one from the one he'd mentioned when I picked up the car. So I went back the next day to get my car. I did write a complaint to have the issue resolved and a manager called me offering to have the car looked at by another of their shops. I declined his offer because I don't feel they are ethical and don't feel safe allowing them to work on my car any more. I have since found out, from another mechanic shop the cause of the noise. The guy I took it to told me right away. He didn't have to work around "fixing" other issues or putting on new parts that had nothing to do with my transmission in an effort to rack up a bill. The guy didn't even charge me anything for diagnosing the issue!

I see a lot of people are having issues with this company, I would suggest that you take your business elsewhere if you can. If you choose to use them, use a form of payment that will allow you to dispute the charges should something go wrong. For all the people who have been bitten, like me, I suggest filing a complaint with the BBB. Although you might get a call and then be ghosted after that, as I have been. Or you may get no call at all. Dispute the charge, then file a complaint with your state's your Attorney General and Consumer Affairs.

I bought a total of six tires five new one used so I can get home to you there in Mesa or in Tucson. The four were brand new about three months ago. I’ve had to take my tires back in because it continuously go low on me one tire they said they couldn’t replace and I asked why and they just gave me a new tire didn’t do anything give me a new tire. One gentleman told me that it was a factory defect on that tire then they were gonna charge me for the Star warranty thing and I said wait a minute. I just got done paying that for the one you just replaced. Why do I have to pay that again when it was a factory issue not mine so they were supposed to rerun that back to that tire so I would have it come to find out they never did. I’ve been arguing about that least once a week I called the butt crack which is a tire center goes off all the time I’m continuously putting air in my tires.

I’m tired of taking my vehicle there because if I go to get air of the tires or whatever it takes forever, I have to leave my vehicle and they say I’ll come pick it up like maybe five or six hours later. I can’t do that. My car is my my work. I’ve had it in two other times you’re supposed to rotate the tires when I went to another Discount Tire up north in Tucson, but only had good news and bad news. He says good news is my rear tires are good. Bad news is my front tires need to be replaced cause they’re totally bald and I think because you should’ve had them rotating. I said I thought I did.

When I took it to the one over on the east side I said, "So can’t there be something done about that because it’s not my fault." If you’re able didn’t do it when they were supposed to prior to them supposedly doing it. They kept telling me that they didn’t need rotating yet so I’m wondering that if they didn’t rotate the tires, they just figured out well to be a wall but I’m not gonna pay for Junior tires when they’re not even five months old. That just tells me the tires are a piece of crap. I was just taken care of. I’m tired of it.

Ordered aftermarket wheels for my car. The ones they sold me rubbed on the front fender wells when turning. I began doing research on this problem. I found out that the new wheels had a backpacking of -18mm. The originals were -6. I went back to get the correct spacing. I had to pay again for the correct wheels, no price break or refund for what I consider their fault. They should have known as they are the pros.

I had a flat tire and 20K miles left on my tires. I let the young guy talk me into getting four new tires and I also paid for an alignment. I purchased the tires and my new car has not ridden smooth since then. My vehicle also sounds loud as if they stole a part off it. I went back three times and they still can't get me care to drive smoothly. It feels like I'm on gravel all the time and it's been three months now. I overheard one of the guys say that someone forgot to put something back on one of the tires. I took my vehicle to another place to have them to check it and they advised me to go to another tire place and to NEVER go back to DT for ANY reason because they are pressured with commission and are very inexperienced since those with experience retired and quit all over the country in the past few years. It was the worst decision I made this year in Grand Prairie, Texas.

I have been treated like poop from Rowlett, TX Discount Tire on Lakeview. So far, the manager and regional office are in cahoots to quash my complaint. I went to Rowlett store because my tire was leaking air, 10 lbs per night. I went there to get tire fixed. The desk guy did nothing but try to sell me new tires to replace the tires I bought there, which are good.

When I told him I am buying a roof and sewer line separation problems costing many thousands and not buying tires right now, he told me I could finance tires. I have more credit available than I would ever use and NOT BUYING TIRES RIGHT NOW! When I was about to walk out, he smugly told me they would take care of my tire. About 15 minutes later, he called and insisted my tire is not losing air and sent me away. 2 days later, I went to Eagle Tire to get holes in tires fixed. Discount Tire told me they found 3 nails, but none were deep enough to leak air. EAGLE TIRE CONFIRMED WHAT I TOLD DISCOUNT TIRE AND FOUND 2 HOLES IN MY TIRE.

I had to pay them to fix and when I returned to Rowlett Discount Tire store, the manager told me he didn't believe my tire was leaking air because they would not do that and why didn't I come there first. I told him I already did come there and y'all insisted it wasn't leaking air so I didn't trust them anymore and was berated for doing what I did and telling me I made up the whole thing. That is the dumbest thing I ever heard. When I contacted regional office, the person who returned my call obviously already had his opinion without letting me finish what I had to say.

All Discount Tire can do is blame their actions on my reaction, which is out of order. I called corporate but option 2 does not work nor option 0 so obviously blocking any complaints. I will not be ignored. This will continue until someone who cares talks to me and let me tell them what really happened and listen to my problem. I have been buying tire from Discount for more cars and times than you would believe and WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT. SENT ME AWAY WITH 2 HOLES IN TIRES BECAUSE I WOULDN'T BUY UNEEDED TIRES!!!!!

I recently replaced all my lug nuts and had to come into the store for a tire rotation when they were done, they brought me a lug nut and said it came off rough and that they didn’t wanna cross thread it. When I got home, I checked it, and they had already cross-threaded it. I’m very disappointed that they lied instead of replacing the lug nuts. I will no longer be doing business with them. I’ve been doing business with them since the late 90s.

I purchased an SUV from Nissan in Waxahachie Texas. The vehicle had 5000 miles on it. The first week I experienced a low pressure light. I called my salesman and he suggested I go to Discount Tire on I 35 S near Desoto Texas and have them check the air pressure. I did, and had to go back occasionally. Now it’s been almost a year and I experience several pressure checks close to each inspection. I walked inside to ask them to check to see if I had a leak. The salesman who I did not know was a manager said, "I’ll check it out for you." He walked outside. Proceeded to walk around to every tire.

The Manager Austin walks back in and says, "I checked the threads on all your tires and you need to replace every single one of them. I can’t let you leave with your tires like that." I expressed that I could not afford to buy tires at that moment. I requested that he fix the low pressure tire. He refused. I asked him how much would it cost for one tire. He refused and stated, "You have to at least buy two." I explained that I would have to use a credit card because I didn’t have any money.

He then explained that Nissan put cheap tires on the SUV and that’s why the tires didn’t last a full year. I explained that the SUV only has 13,000 miles on it. I should not have to replace every tire. He refused and told me to contact the dealership. I did and that was a nightmare. They hung the phone up on me. I hope someone rips off Austin’s mom and sisters the way he ripped off me. I had the dealership look at my tires and they said the tires didn’t need replacing. I feel used in every way. Just lost close to four hundred dollars dealing with un-honest employees.

In 2026, most transactions are an exchange of money for goods and services. I don't feel that way at Discount Tire. I feel like I am family. You take care of me, my wife and my family so greatly. I trust you all, and it doesn't matter if it's me, or my kids, or my wife; you guys always "shoot straight" and are honest. I value integrity, honesty, hard work, prompt service, courteous staff. It doesn't matter which Discount Tire store I go to....That is what I see. I feel like I have a relationship with your company. It's not just a business relationship, but I value what you do, the service you provide me, my family, and our community. We need more businesses like you.

It could be a boat trailer, lawnmower tire, utility trailer, car, truck, van...I have brought it all in over the years. You guys got tires figured out. Great service! Love it! After over 25 years of using Discount Tire, my kids have flown the coop, and are on their own....They only buy tires from Discount Tire. It's a family tradition now. Great service, Great value, courteous & knowledgeable staff, clean stores, and straight talk....How's that for a slogan?

I want to commend and compliment my local Discount Tire store and staff 20270, Eva Street & SH 105, Montgomery, TX. Thank you for bringing my car in after quitting time. I had just picked up a piece of metal at 6:01 PM, and I was a few blocks away. I got in there about 6:05 PM. I asked the technician if he could look at my right rear tire as my TPMS had gone from 33 PSI to 20 PSI in about 3 minutes time. He found the problem right away, piece of metal stuck in the tire...Got my car in, changed out the tire for free (yes I had road hazard). And I was out the door by 6:25 PM. Thank you! I also want to thank you for providing us with a military discount every time I come in. That means a lot. I will be swinging by the tire shop tomorrow and treating the staff to breakfast. Thanks again, Mark

My front end starts shaking immediately after I leave. So I look at my receipt. Has another person's name & address and a different year vehicle than what I have.

So I go back and ask the guy that I dealt with. "What's the problem?" Can't he read or is there another issue? I said, "I need to talk to your manager." He tells me he is a manager. And that I told him that my plates didn't match my vehicle and then he proceeded to tell me that my plates register to a Ford F-150 which made incomplete sense! I'm like dude I just got my plates 2 months ago and there's no Way I would tell you my plate don't match my vehicle that just doesn't make sense! Long story short Never again!

I called after two hours and it was not ready yet, the gentleman apologized and it was no big deal. I asked him to let me know when it was ready and I'd drive back. I was notified it was ready, I took my dogs with me and went back. I looked for help and found the guy that helped me but he was with a customer. He said it would be a few minutes and he'd put it in the car. I waited, and I waited, his customer left as another customer drove up and parked beside me. He did not bring out my tire, he did go start looking at the tires with the guy that just drove up. They went inside and I followed them and again asked about my tire. He said it would just be a couple minutes....AGAIN!!!

My tire was late getting ready, then I waited just over half an hour just to have it placed in my car. My last contact was asking them to let me place it in my trunk myself, but I was told no. I understand that but NOT having me wait and taking on another customer that I saw drive up after I announced I was there to just pick up the tire.

I purchased all four tires from this location along with their road hazard coverage. When I got a nail in one tire, staff confirmed the tire was unsafe to repair and told me it would be replaced at no cost. I was sent home driving on a tire they had already deemed unsafe, with the assurance a replacement would be ordered and installed promptly. I later learned — without any call or notification — that the tire had been discontinued, causing additional delay. When I followed up, I was told the replacement was finally “out for delivery.” However, due to early closure and the store being closed the following day, no appointment could be scheduled.

When I spoke directly with the store manager, Ishemel, I was told they “don’t make appointments” and that I should simply show up and hope to be first, despite the tire already being acknowledged as unsafe to drive on. I also mentioned I drive my 3 young children daily in this vehicle and it's raining this week. This is an unacceptable way to handle a known safety issue. I paid for coverage specifically to avoid situations like this, yet I was left driving on a compromised tire with no guaranteed resolution, no temporary solution, and no accountability. This experience reflects a serious breakdown in communication and concern for customer safety. I strongly recommend corporate review this location’s practices. Everything seemed fine until the next day when I decided to wash my car and saw that all four wheels had scuff marks and gouges that looked to have happened during the tire removal and installation process (most of the damage was on the rim/lip of the wheels). I have take good care of my car and wheels and I know that those marks weren't there when I took the car to DT.

My wheels didn't even have a single curb rash, mind you. I'm still dealing with DT regarding this issue but, unfortunately, they don't handle damage claims in-house anymore and have outsourced it to a 3rd party claims company which is FleetResponse and they have denied my claim and basically called me a liar, and made it sound like I'm fabricating a story. This makes me sad because I had a lot of trust in DT and that they would do their customers right.

I have filed a complaint to BBB and the only response and I have been getting from DT is that Fleet Response is not handling the case. Fleet Response is not even taking my calls nor are they returning them after leaving numerous voicemails to case manager named "Mary". Their neglect and utter incompetence on this matter is astounding to me and I have very disappointed at how they have treated me after being a loyal customer. If you have a nice, well taken care of car and nice wheels, PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT bring it to Discount Tire regardless of the great deal that you see in their website. Every single experience I’ve ever had was perfect. No subpar product. No lack of care, no shortness. No unfair charge or pressure. No negatives even once. I simply wish many other businesses made it as pleasurable to take my money. And even in many cases, what I asked for at DT was free of charge. Kudos folks. It cannot be anything less than a culture thing. Multiple locations, multiple states, different years and situations. Outcome same.

I would just like for inform you that one of your techs damaged a brand-new set of wheels that I had mounted to a new set of tires at your Atascocita, TX. Marco was my advisor, which provided excellent customer service by the way. The wheels were brought in original boxes to your store. Marco helped me unload the wheels and tires. The tires couldn't be mounted on the truck because it was getting a 6inch lift done at the time.

When I went back to pick up the wheels, Marco & a tech quickly loaded them into the bed of my truck. Seems kind of weird, I have 9 vehicles and never seen this process. Within 15-20 minutes of arriving at my brother's home I contact your store. I tell Marco and he says, "let me get in touch with a manager and we will get this fixed for you." Hayden calls me back and initially says, "that couldn't have happened at my store". Once I tell him a wheel got scratched.

After I send him pictures, he says "it looks like someone dropped it on the concrete." First off, the wheel is scratched on the inner edge which is impossible to scratch there from dropping it. Secondly, with the 35-inch tires sticking out on each wheel a half inch on each side it would be impossible to scratch the wheel with the tire mounted on it. Very poor customer service by Hayden and a way to ignore a customer. All I ask for you to do is call Marco about how the wheels were delivered and the picture of the damaged that was sent to him. I would never hold him accountable for him saying he was going to make it right but for Hayden blatantly shutting a customer down without listening to their concerns is terrible customer service.

I ordered a specific Michelin tire from the Troy, Michigan store. After the installation and payment 36 hours later, I realized that they had not installed what I had ordered. The staff claimed that what I had ordered was discontinued and no longer available. I could have bought the same tire that they had installed elsewhere for $200, 74 dollars less that what I paid. So, the staff there first lied to me that they got my tire, then told me that the it would cost me $240 (rather than 274 which was final cost), and then caused me to over pay. Shame, shame, shame!
