We did a lot of research and we got bids from three different places. It came down to two and we chose Earthlight because of the price. Also, solar companies really don't give you a lot of choice and they have who they buy through. But the choice will come down to their knowledge base. Earthlight's rep was very knowledgeable about his products and the warranties were a little longer with his stuff than the other one. When my solar panels were installed, things were pretty smooth. They finished in three days and they had a month. But it took a long time for them to get us on the schedule to get them on the roof. It took us about four months from the time we signed our contract to get the solar panels up on the roof.

I was referred to SunPower who ended up going bankrupt three days after they sent Earthlight to my house. So, I ended up just going with Earthlight, and so far, having the solar system allows me to save on my electric bill. The work done on the installation was great as well. There were a couple times where I had to keep reaching out in order for things to move on or for me to get feedback on dates or when things would happen. So, the communication was a little bit lacking or they were slow to say what they were going to or when they were coming out to do something. But when they came out, they were great.

I've always been interested in solar and wanted it for my house. My roof was getting done and I had a company come around. I went through the process and they gave me their quote. The company I was working with said they were open and were pushing me towards their roof guys but they said I could get an independent quote. I have a friend who is in construction who is very thorough and he just had his roof done. So, I called that company out. Before they came out, they asked why I was changing my roof and I said I wanted to put a solar system. They sent their guy out who works with Earthlight. The company is very reputable. Before I did anything, the rep told me not to sign anything yet and gave me a quote.

The enrollment at Earthlight was good. They came out to the house and talked. Everybody was good and they were professional all the way in every phase. I would recommend them to friends.

I reached out to SunPower and they connected me to Earthlight for a brand-new install. We appreciated their responsiveness when we reached out to them and their professionalism, timing and promptness in getting things done and up and running. We like the way using solar reduces our reliance on the grid and it's clean energy, reducing our carbon footprint. We would recommend Earthlight.

I heard about Earthlight Solar from a friend, and my electric bill made me decide to go solar. Everything was fine, but things took a long time. It was from March to October and I wish I started the process in the fall. That way, by the time the system was hooked up, I'd have sunlight. I track production by looking at my electric bill right now. I've been so busy as far as going online and looking at it. When we first got it, I looked, so that way, I’d know what I was looking at and have the knowledge. Now that I've seen that we're not producing anything, I'm just trying to pay my electric bill and the bill for buying the system. Overall, I like everything about Earthlight, but I made a poor decision about the installation.

My son used Earthlight to install his solar panels, then I called them up and they came. They were fabulous. I had been inundated with people from solar coming here to my house. Most of them were horrible and obnoxious. They didn't know what they were doing and had no answers. Some of them drew weird lines on paper. When Earthlight came here, they were thorough and polite. They sat and spent three hours on the computer showing me how things worked, what things were, how things were done and what they did or didn't. I was amazed at them. Otherwise, I never would have gotten them because I've turned down so many people.

Earthlight was a really good experience. They were on top of everything and made the process easy for us. We're enjoying going solar. Very recently, we had a problem with the battery and I've already been in contact with them and they've called me three times to start working through the problem. So far, the interactions have been great. They've always been willing to help us on whatever kind of problems we might come across.

I added on to my solar system using Earthlight Solar. It was to charge my electric car. Their customer service was very good and the installation was good as well. I was happy with the install. The only problem I had was with Eversource hooking me up for the final charge. I have not been able to enroll yet with Eversource for the new plan. I'm eligible for a new plan but for some reason, I can't get into it.

Our electric bill was through the roof and we were looking to make our expenses less expensive. We gave solar a try and look into what our options were. The process with Earthlight Solar was fairly easy. From the salesman up until when everything was getting installed to the final process, everything went smoothly. They were knowledgeable. The biggest thing was communicating. They communicated with my husband and me of what they were doing and how things were flowing, which, as a consumer, is super important. When you don't know what's going on with the project, it gets a little stressful. But they kept me in the loop of what was happening when it was happening. They did a wonderful job.

I put solar panels on my house and then I didn't do the battery because I thought the battery was too expensive. I talked to this guy, Dave, that works for Earthlight Solar and he was a very nice guy. He said, "They're really not that expensive after you get all the rebates." He put the whole deal together for the batteries and it worked out great. Now that I've got the batteries, I'm off the grid a lot of the time as long as the sun's out and I have no electric bill. All in all, I'm pleased with the experience, and anybody that's interested in it, I refer them to Earthlight.

Almost 3 years ago I decided to go solar and Earthlight was the obvious choice. The sales process, the installation, and the service has been outstanding. I have had a few questions (all user error) that I have bothered Earthlight with the last 3 years and each time I have gotten a full explanation and response within the hour. In retrospect I want to highlight that my system has produced MORE energy than originally promised (yes there are still honest sales reps out there). Also, the last 3 years my lease payment has not changed once, but when I look at how Eversource does business I wish I could say the same. I could not ask for anything more, I got honesty, great service, and consistency. Thank you so much Earthlight for helping my family stretch our dollar a little further.

After meeting with representatives of other solar companies, we decided that the most impressive program offered was from Earthlight Technologies, but at the time we didn't know just how good a decision that would end up being. We are so pleased that everything we were told unfolded in just the way it was described to us - no surprises, no excuses, no having to return to repair shoddy work. This is a highly professional company, operating step-by-step and covering all the bases. Every one of their representatives and technicians was pleasant and knowledgeable. Whenever work was done on site, they cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I have never worked with a better company.

Earthlight was fantastic. The Rep who came out first was great, not pushy. The engineer and his drone were super and the installers were all very hard workers. We passed all inspections on first pass. The reason I did this was so that when I retire in 5 - 7 years I will not have a power bill and the 27 panel system will be paid for by then. I am a project manager and deal with customer/employee relations and they have good employees.

Earthlight recently installed a 21 solar panel system. As you can see, I've rated them 5 stars. I've dealt with many companies over my many years and I have to say this was by far the best experience of them all. From start to finish, everyone I dealt with - whether in person or by phone and email - was top notch. They fully explained everything and even showed exactly how much my monthly lease payments would be throughout the contract. With the electricity rates in Ma., this is a no-brainer, especially if you heat and cool with electricity. Every one of the electricians and installers were neat, hardworking and respectful. They were always on time and would communicate if there were any delays.
