I ordered some sneakers 10 days ago and still waiting. They have been in the same location for 4 days now. I got an email this morning stating the delivery will be late because we are having snow across half of the country. Who knows when I will receive them. Won't order online again, way too long a wait time.

I ordered two pairs of men’s size 12 shoes but received two pairs of women’s size 7.5 shoes instead. When I contacted customer service to report the error, I was advised rather casually to return the items to a Nordstrom store located several miles from my home. I was also informed that I would only receive a refund for the items originally ordered. The lack of accountability and the nonchalant approach to resolving this issue resulted in a disappointing customer service experience.

Nordstrom unreliable partner LaserShip did it again. Once again, I received a "Delivered" notification for my order today, yet no package has arrived. There is no proof of delivery provided, and the notification was sent at nearly 9:00 PM—a time when standard deliveries are not being made in my area. LaserShip consistently provides false delivery confirmations causing me to spend unnecessary time searching for packages that do not exist.
Despite raising this issue previously, Nordstrom continues to use a carrier that is well-known for these "never happened deliveries." While customer service has offered refunds in the past, a refund does not compensate for the disappointment, the lost time, or the failure to receive the items I purchased. I value the products Nordstrom offers, but I can no longer justify shopping with a company that knowingly uses unreliable logistics partners. I am requesting that this feedback be escalated to your logistics and operations management.

Service at the Southpointe Shoe department was very poor. I used to work at Nordstrom back in college and I am amazed at the lack of service sometimes especially at Nordstrom. My daughter wanted a pair of ballet shoes. The salesman who helped us sauntered over slowly to check on size, chatted with other non-buying customers. He never checked on us. He should have brought out other similar styles that may have fit her. We were looking to buy and he missed the mark. Such a sad state of affairs Nordstrom- this is sad when a store cannot service its customers or at least try. There was no try- I get better service at DSW.

Would Nordstrom's please answer this question: Why is the music at the NYC Store so loud and so awful I could not stay and shop? What is it with this store and Bloomingtons and Chanel and nearly every wonderful retail entity that only god awful, ugly and VERY LOUD music is playing. We couldn’t carry on conversations, it was not relaxing and it certainly does NOTHING for shared civic space! I will never shop at your stores until this issue is resolved. It’s degrading!

We went to the Bellevue Wa Nordstrom at Bellevue square on December 6, 2025. I was looking for a dress to wear to dinner. We made it to the dress section if you can call it that. What approached us was not anything that we were expecting and we aren’t full on ** folk. We are sure it was a man but with so much makeup and piercings it was hard to tell. He was barely helpful since well if you have a penis you can’t very well pick out a dress for a woman’s occasion. He/she was beyond useless. And it was rather disturbing to have that confront us. Keep the women in the women’s section and the men in the men’s section and if you aren’t sure then keep them in home goods.

Horrible online shopping experience with Nordstrom. Being informed six days after placing an order for a product that was listed on the online store as available is trickery. The order was placed six days ago and I am just now being informed the item is not available. No time to get a replacement shipped before Christmas. Poor customer service and misleading website purchase.

I am very disappointed with how my recent return involving Afterpay was handled. I returned an entire Nordstrom.com purchase in store that was paid with Afterpay. The store confirmed the $623.36 refund was processed, yet over three weeks later Afterpay still shows a balance and says they have not received the refund from Nordstrom. When I went back to the store for help, I was kept waiting for nearly two hours, staff were unhelpful and dismissive, and I was unable to obtain a copy of my return receipt, despite requesting it. This has made resolving the issue extremely difficult. I am being caught between Nordstrom and Afterpay for an internal processing issue that should not be the customer’s responsibility. I am requesting this be escalated to the Afterpay settlement team, the refund be re-sent, and written confirmation provided. This experience is far below the level of service I expect from Nordstrom.

Have been a preferred rewards and credit card holder for almost 20 years and shopped at Nordstrom's for even longer. Today I closed my account over being reported to the credit bureau for $8.70 - an amount I had no idea was even leftover on my account. Didn't get any updated information. I called in and made a payment and also made a return so I did not think I had a balance. Apparently I had a small balance (which I think was from a late fee) and then they reported me to the Credit Bureau and damaged my credit significantly over this. I have to contest it with the CB. More headache and ordeal. I've since closed the credit card and will no longer be shopping here. I spend thousands a year. Not anymore.

Very disappointed. Purchased a dress on Saturday. Didn’t have in my size. OK. But they could have delivered in store by next day. GREAT. Picked up dress. Cut off visible tags. Never noticed electronic tag on hem!!! Remember I picked up the dress at pickup, boxed. Totally embarrassing. Wore dress. Someone pointed out tag. I joked that it was my electronic monitoring device. How can Nordstrom send a dress from one store to another, boxed and delivered at an in store pick up and leave an electronic tag on the dress.

There is so much that occurred at Tyson's Corner in Virginia, I don't have the energy to write it all out. In short, their customer service bears NONE of the excellence they were once known for, and as a **, I was treated as someone unable to purchase a salon shoe, with the sales person gripping the shoe box, being slow to retrieve the shoes, and an air that I might make off with them without paying even though I was wearing a designer sandal. Things have changed, and I for one, after 30+ years will not return.

I was shocked to receive a message from Nordstrom stating that my online account would no longer be supported due to “concerning shopping patterns.” The message gave no specific examples or explanation, and didn’t reference any policy violations. I reached out to customer service to dispute this and requested a clear explanation, but received no real clarification or resolution. Despite being a loyal customer who has always followed the rules, my account was shut down without cause or transparency. This experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and damaging to my trust in Nordstrom. I expected better from a company that claims to value its customers.

Wow. I'm very underwhelmed with a recent order. I've never purchased anything from Nordstrom before, but have always heard good things. Being a pricier clothing retailer, I assumed the garments would be nice. What I received was made in China and just stuck in a polymailer. The fabric is thin with loose threads. One of my purchased items was a pajama set. I only received the bottoms for $79! They said I'd have to return it since they couldn't send just the top. But when I tried to reorder the item was no longer available. I won't be shopping there again.

For over 20 years Nordstrom was my place to shop. After covid they closed my local store and the nearest stores are quite a drive away. Although I had occasionally purchased items online from them prior to this the delivery issues I experienced did not make it worth the hassle. Items shipped generally were left in the wrong place, thus being intermittently stolen, and in some cases marked as delivered yet never actually delivered to the correct place. Since I traveled for work and didn't have an office shipping to an office was not an option.
Over the last year I've tried multiple times to order from them. I've also placed two very visible signs with clear instructions on where to deliver packages. Unfortunately, if they are not delivered to the correct location I may not see them for days and they're also left to the elements. And yet they're delivery people continue to ignore them. I went through. Were several packages were stolen and as such I've now been tagged in Nordstrom system to not issue a refund if I report someone stolen. After much research I found that emails of the executive team about 4 months ago and contacted them directly. Supposedly they worked with their shippers to ensure my packages were delivered correctly. UPS and FedEx did, OnTrac, which is Nordstrom's preferred ship shipper because it's cheap, did not.
Try it again to place a large order 2 weeks ago for a upcoming trip. UPS and FedEx delivered packages correctly and absolutely no issues. One of the dresses I really wanted came back in stock and I ordered it. On track had the audacity to once again drop the package directly in front of an 8x10 sign stating stop. Do not deliver packages here. Deliver to front. It's gone and I contacted Nordstrom directly to let them know as soon as I realized that I was supposed to have a package. Of course, they've once again have denied the refund because they have a proof of delivery even though it's in front of a sign saying not deliver packages there.
While I did escalate again I highly doubt that anything is going to be done. There suggestions of just buy it online and pick up in store are not feasible. First, I've actually had issues doing that that they have told me in orders in stock and when I go to pick it up it's lost and the nearest stores are 45 minutes in an hour away, respectively which means I have to do a two to two and a half hour round trip just to shop them. Not quite customer service.
So I packaged up all the items I purchased from them that I'm still able to return and I'm just sending them back. There's absolutely no reason to utilize Nordstrom at this point and they long ago lost track of customer service. Even before covid their services already on the downward spiral and the times I've been in store since then it's under stocked, understaffed, and the staff that is there is nothing like the quality that you used to have.
To even get service via the phone you have to utilize a useless Ai chatbot. And instead of the Colorado based customer service they have, they have outsourced everything to India so although I made my point very clear to the representative I spoke with and he was pleasant, at the end of the day their note takers and nothing more.

I opened an account for my 90 year old mother in December of 2023. She is 90 and I have power of attorney. She wanted to give some Christmas gifts from the store. The account was opened for 10,000 dollars. But then I started receiving calls from Nordstrom to verify it was legitimate. They asked to talk to my mom to confirm her identity. Well they called three more to harass her. And finally asked for her to come to the store. She's 90 and in a wheelchair. Well I finally told them to cancel the account. Did not need all the BS, plus all the reps that called were nasty and had a bad attitude. Adult protective services came to the house and wanted to see her bank records. Don't trust these idiots is all I can say.

Nordstrom's used to be known for good service. That's why I order from there. I order a package to my place, where there is a buzzer so that I can hear when the package arrives. They deliver without pressing the buzzer, so of course by the time I check for it, it's been stolen. Even though my family and I have been shopping from Nordstrom's for years (all my shoes bought there!!) they refuse to refund it.

I'm writing to let you know I purchased a $50 Nordstrom gift card from Target that ended up having it's access code rubbed off. I went to Target who told me to call the number on the card to get help. That number is Nordstrom customer service. I was told to send a copy of the receipt and a copy of the gift card and you would replace it with an electronic gift card.
I did exactly that, and then received an email telling me you could not help me and I'd have to talk to Target. What a bunch of crap. I told you it was purchased at Target and I was told that is no problem. Target is not helping and the last person I spoke with at Nordstrom (Aden **), said he can't help me and to submit it again. He was also very rude, cutting me off frequently and was very difficult to understand. I am disgusted with Nordstrom and will never get a gift card from you folks again. In addition, I will tell everyone I see that you guys suck. I've had to call 3 times to get told no problem... then wait for an email to say you cannot help. Terrible! Chris

I’ve had one of the worst shopping experiences with Nordstrom and their customer service. I ordered the same pair of men’s shoes three different times, and every single time they sent me the wrong size in the other gender. On top of that, one of my orders was suddenly cancelled without explanation. After all that frustration, I finally decided to go into the store, thinking it would be easier to resolve the issue in person. Unfortunately, it only made things worse. The two associates who helped me, Sussane and another woman (Lorraine or Lotaya, I can’t recall her exact name), were shockingly rude and dismissive. Instead of trying to make the process easier, they insisted on taking the most complicated route, which wasted even more time.
When I asked to speak with a manager, they flat-out refused at first, claiming there wasn’t one available. At one point, I was even shushed by Sussane while trying to explain the situation… incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. Eventually, they did get a manager, but that person offered little help and didn’t seem to care about fixing the problem either.
For a company that built its reputation on customer service, this was unacceptable. I wasted time, energy, and money, only to be treated poorly and left without a solution. Honestly, save yourself the headache, go to Bloomingdale’s instead. Their customer service is on another level and 100,000 times better than what Nordstrom has become.

This is the second time an order has been cancelled. I waited until my turn for loyal customer presale and bought two pairs of boots. Two weeks later, my order for them got cancelled and they told me it was my payment method, which didn't make sense because the other item I bought was sent just fine and the $1000 I spent with them in the following days was fine. Ironically, they were already out of the boots online. I felt insulted as a customer and disappointed - Nordstrom used to be a quality assurance company and I felt dismissed. They said there is nothing they can do and wouldn't even offer me similar boots at the same price or ship me a pair when they got any in stock. There has been no follow-up. Doesn't a "purchase" mean you reserved them as yours? How does a cancellation then happen and why did they blame it on me? They couldn't give me proof.

As a customer, you need to keep track of your Nordstrom notes and when they expire. Also keep track that the oldest are used first by the associate. I used 5 notes approximately two weeks ago. I assumed the oldest notes would be applied to my purchases. Yesterday I received a notification one of my notes would expire today. Called customer service and was on the phone for at least 20 minutes while she rectified the problem. Also was guaranteed she would notify me by email within the next two hours when the note would be changed to a gift card or the expiration date would be extended. Never heard back from customer service and lost a note. Usually Nordstrom is accommodating but not this time!

I am done with the Anniversary Sale. I think it is a bait and switch operation. I am allowed to order early and when I did, lo and behold, they were sold out of at least 6 items I wanted to buy. Then this morning I received a message they were cancelling my order which they said they were sending because they were sold out. What??? When I ordered it last week it was in stock. And, of course they always have other suggestions “You might like”… Often not on sale. It is just not worth it anymore.

I am extremely disappointed with @Nordstrom. My daughter ordered a Father’s Day gift (Order #**)—not only was it never delivered, but it never even shipped! It just sat in their warehouse. There were no proactive updates, and there was no real help from support. Is this the new standard of "premium" service? I had to follow up and was met with empty apologies and no help. I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience ordering a pair of shoes from Nordstrom. Upon receiving the item, I noticed a very obvious and unacceptable defect in the suede — it was torn and broken into pieces, creating a dark, uneven zigzag line that looks like ink, but is actually a flaw in the material. This should have never passed quality control, especially considering the shoes were being shipped internationally to Canada. It’s frustrating to see such carelessness from a company I once trusted for quality and professionalism. As a paying customer who also incurred international shipping fees, I should not be burdened with the inconvenience caused by Nordstrom’s lack of attention.
To make matters worse, the only “solution” offered by their customer service team was to ship the product back to the U.S. — on my time — and wait for a refund once they receive the return. This was their mistake, yet they’re placing all the burden on the customer. No apology, no accountability, no offer of a partial refund or discount to make things right. I expected far better from a company like Nordstrom. Sadly, this experience has shown a complete lack of responsibility and poor customer service. I won’t be ordering again.

According to FedEx tracking, the package was delivered to Nordstrom on April 30, 2025. However, Nordstrom has refused to refund me, claiming they cannot locate the item in their warehouse. This is very disappointing since I followed all the return instructions properly. I had to file a chargeback with my bank and submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I do not recommend buying online from Nordstrom.
