I joined Nav, Oct. 2022 and used the business boost option which is an auto pay option only, and they still reported my accounts delinquent. I reported this to customer service, nothing was done. Prior to joining this service, my business scores were great, after canceling my service yesterday, my scores declined. But they took my money and failed to report the proper information. And when you cancel, your access is stripped immediately!!! Which is crazy, because I had a few more days left, on the subscription that I had paid. This is not right what they have done. How is an auto-payment late? How does that happen.
Financing answers within days of submission is a flat out lie. I submitted all of the my information with a very optimistic outlook only to have my rep flat out disappear. I called and called and emailed and emailed with no response. All I wanted was a yes or a no so I could determine how to move forward with my business opportunities. 5 weeks later, I get a "no" that was based on reasons I was told weren't an issue before submitting my docs. I should have known not to try out an online broker. They just don't care.

I created a NAV account yesterday. Didn't even sign up for the premium account. Wanted to check the UI & basic reports before we upgrade. I got 11 phone calls today from different financial product vendors. Selling BS products. Not even a Human, they were all robot calls. Very very disappointed that companies these days don't give a ** about their own customers contact info.
Hey Eyan,
I'm Nav's Sr Director of Marketing and I can assure you that Nav does not share or sell any information unless you initiate the data transfer. The only outbound calls made by Nav are 1) if you upgrade to premium, we'll make one call to make sure you understand all the benefits. 2) if you interact with our financing marketplace and need help.
I'd love to understand better who called and why you felt it was connected to Nav.
There are countless sites who make a living of of what you described but Nav is not one of them.
Thanks,
Joel
We tried using Nav.com for our business credit reporting and it was beyond terrible. The moment after we signed, and paid for a premium account, we started receiving phone calls and emails regarding credit cards and financing. Terrible loans that should never be sold to any business. Mind you one with good credit. Anyway, they give you zero way to opt-out of these solicitations (which is illegal). They also want as far as to sell our information to an accounting "Partner" who then also started calling us none stop. In summary, we paid to try their service in return all we got was none stop solicitations for products we do not need and do not want and they have no way to make it stop. Absolutely terrible.
Parker, I'm sorry your initial experience with Nav was less than optimal. Whenever we hear of stories like yours we take matters seriously and work to improve the flows of communication and explanations behind why certain financing offers are presented over others. Nav offers all business loan products ranging from SBA loans to business credit cards.
If you'd be willing to take a brief phone call with our product team to better streamline the process of opting out of emails/calls it would a tremendous help.
I found it interesting that they used bogus information in their customized advertising, listing my DUNS # when I don't even have one yet. They also included a SIC CODE that translates to "ALL OTHER THINGS THAT DON'T FIT IN ANOTHER CATEGORY." So they're trying to establish a trust relationship with me by misleading me. Interesting approach.
Hey CM, we're sorry you had a poor experience with Nav's front end marketing. We leverage our partnership and shared data with Dun & Bradstreet to generate all of our direct mail pieces. If your business information is inaccurate or possibly tied to another entity we'd be happy to help update your information with the bureaus. Feel free to call 855-226-8388 to speak to a member of our team.
Nav is a financial product for businesses to monitor credit. The issue is it isn't worth it as a product and canceling it is a huge pain. I don't know about you but as a business owner, I am constantly looking for tools to save me time. Nav requires you to CALL THEM to cancel your account. This is such a huge pain in the **. I decided to cancel as the product doesn't give extensive detail in its reporting of issues. If you do have an issue with a credit agency, you still need to go to them to download a report to get the level of detail needed to solve the problem. Their reports also miss a lot of essential detail. I will say I appreciate they are trying to make something that can be less straightforward more so, that said, it's still not worth the cost. Also, they screen the reviews on their website so only the good ones show up. My advice would be to not waste your time with them.
Thanks for the feedback William. You've pointed out a couple items our team is actively working to streamline. You can downgrade to Nav's Standard (100% free) plan any time to continue to monitor your Paydex and Intelliscore business scores as well as your Experian personal score at no cost for life!
Nav has been a great tool for us to monitor our own credit as well as current and future partnerships. They have been able to help several of our clients with any issues reporting on their business credit as well helping protect us. They have a plethora of tools to help any business. Thank you, Nav!
Nav allows me to monitor both my business and personal credit score. The nature of my business causes me to travel frequently. Nav’s mobile app allows me to stay up to date while on the go.
Nav is a very useful service. As a small business owner they helped figure out business credit for me so I could better separate my personal stuff from my business, and the credit monitoring is great. They frequently send out articles with useful info on how to improve my business. I recommend Nav to all my business associates.
NAV is the best solution for small business credit monitoring. I have been using NAV for several years (back when they were called Creditera). Their software was the only one I found that could help me understand what my business credit score was and how to improve it. I still use it today. It is very user-friendly and provides a summary of my score(s) and details if I want to drill down. I would highly recommend it to any small business owner who wants to gain control of their business credit score.
