Sprout Creek Farm of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., is recalling four wheels of Kinkead cheese made on May 10, 2018.

The product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

Green Cedar Dairy recalls Ackawi cheese

Green Cedar Dairy of Dearborn, Mich., is recalling Green Cedar Ackawi cheese.

Samples of the product collected and tested by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration tested positive for the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The following product, sold at retail stores in East Dearborn and Dearborn Heights Mich., is being recalled:

  • Green Cedar Ackawi cheese in small clear plastic shrink wrapped packaging bearing a “sell by” date of March 26, 2019, or later. The “sell by” date is on a white sticker on the back of the product.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled products should not consume it, but discard it or return it to the place of purchase.

Sprout Creek Farm of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., is recalling 132 wheels of "Margie" cheese that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The product being recalled is a soft, white rind, cow's milk cheese packaged with a green round label and wrapped in white milk paper in one pound wheels. It can be identified with the lot number make date of 10-9-18 and best by dates of 12-9-18.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product in Canada, although illnesses have been reported in France.

World’s Best Cheeses of Armonk, N.Y., is recalling 22 cases of Formagerie de la Brie brand, l’Explorateur soft ripened cheese.

The product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled product, which comes in a 250-g (8.8-oz.), clear plastic package marked with lot #’s H036, H038, H043 and H044, and is made from pasteurized milk, was sold in retail stores in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Utah, Colorado, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington D.C., from February 28, 2018, through April 13, 2018.

Seacrest Foods International of Lynn, Mass., is recalling 29 cases of Formagere de la Brie brand, l’Explorateur soft ripened cheese.

The product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

No illnesses have been confirmed by public health authorities to date.

The recalled product, made from pasteurized milk and comes in a 250g (8.8 oz), clear plastic package marked with lot # H010 or H011 on the bottom, with UPC: 3 390010 004080., was distributed at retail stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Jersey and New Hampshire from February 6, 2018 through March 31, 2018.
