What is LRM Leasing?

LRM Leasing is a family-owned business that provides lease-to-own semitrucks and heavy-duty construction equipment. The company doesn’t run credit checks or impose mileage restrictions, and it lets your work for any carrier in the U.S.

LRM Leasing requirements

LRM Leasing doesn’t perform a credit check or ask for your Social Security number. The online application page requires information in three categories:

  • Personal details: Name, address, marital status, contact info, whether you’re a homeowner or renter, the cost of your mortgage payments or rent, if you’ve ever declared bankruptcy and info about the nearest relative that doesn’t live with you.
  • Driving experience: How long you’ve been driving commercially, whether or not you have your own operating authority, whose truck you drive currently, what kind of truck you drive and if you’ve ever owned a truck or trailer.
  • Employment: Contact info for the company you currently work for, how long you’ve been with the company, how much you’re earning and how much you expect to earn with the leased truck.

LRM Leasing costs

There’s no specific pricing info on the LRM Leasing website, though it does promise affordable monthly payments and deposits based on the current market. With the fast changing inventory, LRM recommends that you reach out to them directly for pricing and availability.

LRM Leasing also provides warranties at cost so you can save on vehicle parts and get free company inspections.

Stay away from this dealer. They stole $41,000 from me. I filed a complaint against them with the Florida Attorney General’s Office for consumer fraud. They take your money and then provide very poor service. They took more than three weeks to deliver the titles, and due to their own failure to comply, they repossessed the trucks even though I had not missed any payments and less than one month after I received them. Please read carefully, stay informed, and do not allow them to steal from you

I highly NOT recommend this place to buy a truck. I REPEAT I highly NOT recommend this place for business due to horrible experience I have, let me explain, LRM Leasing maliciously sell me a broken truck with 2 major problems 1 differential broken and glue seal to stop the leak and DPF filter problems. First week truck broken down, I brought it to Pompano shop. All people in there are crooked, they want you to pay cash. They are so rude. 😢

So many hidden fees. They took $700+ after regular payment deducted, when I called the lady can't even explain to me why they took that money, think about it. You buy a truck. After 1 week it broken down. I spent money that I don't have to get it back on the road, still show DPF problems on the dashboard, they kept the more than 2 weeks and still charged me full month after they purposely sold a broken truck to me, now my credit I max out. I spent over $6000 on the after 1 week buy. Salesman is crooked, shop is crooked. Financial are worse, the LRM Leasing destroyed my finances, before you buy with those people think twice.

⭐ 1-Star Review: LRM Leasing & James ** – Misleading, Dishonest, and a Complete Disgrace to the Trucking Industry. I rarely leave reviews, but our experience with LRM Leasing and James ** was so bad, I feel morally obligated to warn others. From the start, James acted like a friend—friendly, helpful, and full of promises. He told us exactly what we wanted to hear: that the truck had been inspected, was in great condition, and that if anything went wrong, “they would take care of us.” He reassured us over and over that we’d be supported as a small carrier. That false sense of security is what closed the deal.

But here’s the truth: he knew we’d never come back. Because the truck he sold us was damaged, unreliable, and far from what was advertised. The minute we drove off the lot, all that support and “friendship” vanished. They got their money—and we got stuck with a nightmare. We drove less than 300 miles before the radiator failed completely. Yes, one week in, and we were already sinking money into repairs. Then, just five weeks later, the head gasket had to be replaced—another major and costly repair that left us sidelined again. Not once did LRM or James offer to help or even express concern. We gave them multiple chances to do the right thing—they did nothing.

It became painfully clear: this company is built on deception. They sell you a story, not a working truck. They make you believe they care, but they don’t. Once the sale is done, you’re on your own, no matter what they told you. James ** is not your friend. He is a salesperson who’s mastered the art of manipulation, pretending to be helpful while knowing full well that the trucks they sell are flawed and you’re going to get stuck with the repair bills. If you’re considering LRM Leasing, do yourself—and your business—a favor: walk away. What they sell are broken promises, broken equipment, and broken trust. This was one of the worst business decisions we’ve ever made. Don’t let it happen to you.

LRM Leasing: A Pattern of Neglect, Deflection, and Customer Harm. Our negative experience with LRM Leasing is not unique—it’s part of a disturbing pattern of complaints from other customers who were misled, sold faulty equipment, and left without support. In one case, a buyer paid over $7,000 down, only to have the engine fail within 23 days, after less than 8,000 miles. LRM refused to assist, and the customer was forced out of business. Another customer broke down within 298 miles due to clutch failure. When they called for help, LRM ignored them and blamed an “old unpaid bill,” refusing to exchange the truck despite their own 72-hour policy. The customer had to pay $3,150 out-of-pocket just to return the truck. A third buyer, a couple who returned their leased truck in excellent condition, was shocked to receive a $6,000 collections bill, even after being promised there would be no penalties.

These are just a few of the many complaints that show a consistent pattern: trucks that fail shortly after purchase, broken promises, hidden fees, and zero post-sale support. Customers are routinely ignored or blamed instead of helped. LRM’s replies are often filled with polished excuses that try to shift responsibility onto the buyer.

In our case, LRM attempted to dismiss two major breakdowns within the first month as “normal wear-and-tear”—a claim that’s simply false. A radiator failing after 300 miles, and a blown head gasket within five weeks, point to pre-existing mechanical issues. And yet, just like in other reviews, they tried to normalize it. We’re sharing this not to attack but to warn future buyers. Do not be misled by a few positive reviews—there’s overwhelming evidence of consistent failure to deliver reliable equipment or stand behind their word. For small carriers and independent operators, the cost of one bad truck can be devastating. Do your homework before investing with LRM Leasing. Our experience, and many others like it, show the risk is simply too high. Buyer beware.

Company took care of my issues. Thank you LRM Leasing.

      Original Review: Sept. 3, 2024

LRM Leasing are crooks! They took my money!! Instead of giving me my refund. They told me I was approved. When I got to Florida they gave me a truck that I drove no more then 298 miles and the clutch went. They left me stranded leaving me to pay 3150 to get the truck towed back to their shop to only tell me I owed a previous bill that they don’t remember the balance from 2019. If I owed a bill why would you approve me for another truck. Long story short these guys will do whatever it take to keep your hard earned money. I’m a go through hell and hot water to get my money back because 8400 don’t come easy these days. “DON'T DO IT.”

Buying any used vehicle in the commercial trucking industry, one is always cautious of how long it may last or if the investment is a “lemon” especially with a leased contract. LRM throughout time proved to me they stand behind their name and they are exceptionally supportive with their customers. Although the trucking industry can be very “cut throat” LRM is not. They hold the title of being the mecca of used truck sales and leasing. Truly helping independent cdl drivers elevate their careers.

From the owner to all the office agents, LRM Leasing is a blessing in providing drivers the truck they need to branch into their successful future. In my 8 years of trucking I’ve never dealt with a more caring, understanding knowledgeable and supportive group! I’d highly recommend LRM Leasing to anyone looking to lease or buy a truck. Thank you big time LRM for providing me with an opportunity of a lifetime!!

I have recommended at 4 of my friends to LRM and all are happy with their trucks. Also, the best part is there are no credit check. They also have the best mechanics to work on your trucks.

Overall experience with LRM Leasing went well with my Columbia tractor. Priscilla was a great help with my Leasing term. Truck is still running strong would trade it for nothing. Would definitely do it again. I've seen several LRM trucks on the road since I've purchased my truck so that tells me that I'm not the only one and that they are doing something right.
