I believe that I have been scalped! I have never had my hair this short. Even showed a pic of me. I have had a few strokes. But this is crazy! I can’t do anything with it. I wanted the top a little shorter.

Great Clips at Depew should be named "WORST CLIP." The staff is rude, ill-mannered and impolite. Their customer service is pathetic, they didn't not provide us with hot towels when it was included in the service. The lady trimming my hair said, "I think you have been here before, I remember faces and not names, I remember your 4 year old son's SAD face!!" I showed her the picture of the haircut I wanted, which was a simple U-shaped cut, which she couldn't do. My 50 dollars got wasted.

I have been a customer off and on for 20 years. Close to home. Have profile in system with self, brother, mom and aunt. My hair is straight and I only needed an inch cut all the way around. Maybe 10 minutes in the chair. I had an online $9.99 coupon and was told it wasn’t for that location. I sat down and frantically searched for a coupon that worked and every time was told it was either expired or not for that location. They never even offered to assist. They told me that I should have received coupon in mail which I did not. 10 minutes in chair, blunt cut cost me $20 including tip (I always tip even if service is sub par). I think that it is sad that a beard trim is half the cost that I paid. Unfortunately after Roman retired the service does not meet expectation. I will not be going back.

I'm in my 80s so you can imagine how many cuts I've had, some good, some bad, but mostly in the middle. However, a couple of days ago I made the BIG mistake of trying "Great Clips" on 13435 S McCall and I came out with the ABSOLUTE WORST butchering I have ever had. I figured I was in trouble when I saw the barber who looked sour and grouchy. The entire cut took less than 5 minutes and left me looking like a porcupine. I've been wearing a hat ever since. If you go here you'll wish you hadn't.

Checked in, wait time was 40 minutes. My son was up next. Then Ruby asked some guy that walk in, "Did you sign in online?" He clearly said no, then called him.. that was so messed up, what in the check in for then so disappointing 😡😡

Today was the last visit; brought my 5yr old son to this establishment 6 or 7 times and was never greeted with a warm welcoming, despite the employees saying “welcome to Great Clips” as you walk through the door. And today we were ignored by the usual lady who cut my son’s hair and met with annoyance by another employee. She was rude and unkind demanding my son sit by himself & take his jacket off, not even knowing if he had any social/mental or physical impairments, and made it known she did not cater to children. We left, never to return, as this is not a good environment for kids.

Went to Great Clips in Milford De... Big Mistake... The cutter never listened to my instructions. The cut was totally uneven. The back looked like a lawnmower cut... My wife asked me why I went to the school for the blind to get a haircut... Never again. I will go to a real barber next time...

The associate at this location named Alexis was quite in a rush to do my boys haircut. She was like in a hurry. I didn’t tip her, did not like the haircut. My son always get a line in his cut she didn’t even bother to do it. My favorite lady Natasha wasn’t there. So I didn’t even have a choice. Would not recommend her! Too much in a Hurry. Didn’t ask if we were satisfied. Looks like a chicken ate his hair.

I been going to Great Clips for quite awhile and always had pretty good service. This time it was the worst service I ever had. Had to tell her to do the back cut my sideburns around the ears. Asked for some moose in my hair. She put it in and just switched around and said I’m done. I don’t know if she is young and just started or what, but it was a terrible experience. I’ll still go back but ask for someone different.

I went in as usual to get a haircut and normally have a coupon but was having trouble finding it. I expressed to the lady I was having trouble finding my coupon and she stated that their is a current $9.99 coupon. I assumed she would tell me how to obtain it but she just stood there not offering to help me figure out where online I could get the $9.99 coupon. I spent about 5 minutes researching in my phone trying to find it when I eventually found a $9.99 coupon. She looks at the coupon and in a nasty voice says that's not the right coupon. After her rudeness I decided to not get a haircut which didn't bother her as she proceeded to go sit down. A few days later I found a $2 off coupon and went back and to my surprise she was the only available stylist so I had no choice but to let her cut my hair. My plan was not to use her because of her previous rudeness but I decided to let her cut my hair and in return I didn't leave her a tip!

I have been going to great clips. Went in for a cut and trim as I usually do, however; I got a woman who used a #5 blade and went to do it all over my hair. Stopped her and asked what she was doing and was told notes said #5 guide and she was doing that. I told her that was for back and scissor cut for the rest. She laughed and told me she was just following what was in notes. Did not stop with clippers, then tried to clean it up. Hair does not look good at all, as she did a man's cut. Guess she must have thought I was someone she did not like. Will be calling ahead from now on to see if my hair dresser is there from now on. Will not go anywhere with my male hair cut.

I have been going to the Great Clips on Mt. Pleasant in Chesapeake for over 11 years now, today was the last time! They have a guy there that I am reading people are calling him "FEDORA MAN".. RUDE AS HELL! WOULDN'T LISTEN AT ALL! WHEN I QUESTIONED THE FREAK SHOW HE TURNED MY HEAD INTO, HE REFUSED TO FINISH! My wife asked him the cost of a product and he would only give her a nasty look and no answer! With all his gold jewelry you can't miss him... Avoid him unless you want to look like a freak show like I do now!

Worst haircut I've ever gotten, That includes a haircut. I've gotten from a one armed man! I walked in needing a trim, I walked out with hair, different lengths all over my head and a divot in the front. I don't know if it was incompetence or she didn't care but I wouldn't let her groom my dog! The barber I had to pay to fix my hair says it will take weeks for my hair to grow back enough to get it normal.

This particular Great Clips, W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, has had spotty service for years. For quite awhile now when you go online to set up a time (especially when they just open), they say not available for 5 minutes, then once accepting sign ins you find out it's booked out 45 minutes+. This time I got a time with 4 people ahead of me and approx. 30 minute wait time -- that was fine with me. I arrived about 5 minutes ahead of my projected time and found out that the wait time was now 80 minutes and that I was now #8 on the wait list. So based upon about 15 minutes for a haircut (2 barbers were in the shop), 7 people were placed ahead of me, after my initial booking. Terrible booking system & no apology from the staff person.

We went to Seven Hill Publix in SpringHill Florida, I showed my stylist (Long Nails) I call her. Nikki is her name. I showed her a pic of what I wanted, she said my hair was too thick for that and we agreed on a cut, I got home and fixed it my way and it turned out exactly what I wanted. Very happy with this salon and their prices are fair. Thank you Long Nails, LOL.

Waukegan, Northbrook branch. Very poor service on a consistent basis. Number of things wrong. My turn to go but hairdresser Allows someone who arrives “way more than 2 hours after appointment time“ to go to front of line. Only one person on duty doesn’t help. Poor rushed haircut. Go elsewhere.

She cut my son’s neck with the clippers, a couple straight lines at the back of his neck and one on the right side of his neck. She never mentioned the accident to us, and she left his hair uneven all over, as if the other stuff wasn’t bad enough. We have played absolute heck getting that boy to even get haircuts, he was always afraid they’d cut him. For this reason, he sits as still as he possibly can to avoid being cut. And now someone has; not a stay at home mom who can trim her kid’s hair, but someone who should be professional and knows what she’s doing. When my husband told her what our son wanted she had absolutely no clue what he was talking about, even though it’s a simple style. So not only does she have no clue what she’s doing, she’s negligent.

Great Clips does not honor their advertising. In addition the stylist at the Great Clips on Taylor Rd in Chesapeake, VA are adversarial and demeaning towards customers. Definitely not the way to treat customers. SAD VERY SAD.

I got a haircut at Lafayette Marketplace, it will be 2 weeks this Friday. I have to wash my hair before I can tell what it looks like. I wanted it layered, the sides weren’t layered and they weren’t, the back was layered on one side but not the other. I called 3 times and in their defense, they tried to call back, but I later discovered my ringer was off and the 3rd time, they were closed. I left messages, but the third time they were closed.

Oh I been going to this place for years now but after someone I haven't seen before starts getting smart because I had a mask on saying, "Why you wearing a mask? Afraid of getting sick?" Then a smart awwww after but that's not the main reason I'm on here. The main reason I'm on here reviewing is because somebody there buzz cut spots on the back of my head near my neck. Only reason I noticed is because some random person seen it and started lol at it.

They singleHandly ruin my hair every time I go to Great clips. I honestly hate this place so much and I do not recommend anyone to go here as how terrible and how much the staff suck and are completely untrained for requests. They cut my ear and I asked for a short cut when I had amazing long curly hair, but they cut ALL of my hair and made me bald. 1/10.

Completely didn’t listen to what I wanted for my haircut and the person cutting my hair was aggressive with the trimmers pressing them into my skin causing red irritation and burning on my back of my neck. I asked for my bangs to be about a quarter inch longer than my eye brows and they cut it about half an inch shorter so now I got this doofy cut with Pom Pom bangs that poof… also when using a guard for the trimmer for the side of my head my ear got in between the prongs and cut it a little. In the end it felt like they wanted to give me a hair cut they wanted and not what I wanted, the back of my head I wanted kept long for a mullet and the cut it short almost jaw level when it was to my shoulders before…

Worst haircut I’ve ever had. Melissa talked me into getting it styled and I had to redo when I got home. So not worth the extra $20! Dusty did my haircut two months ago and it was perfect. Inconsistent.

Today I went this salon (North Service Road, Oakville). Cutter cut my ear which has fresh bleeding. It was her ignorance. Her name is ANDREA. She was very rude when I went again to her to ask for this negligence. She even said sorry to me. Avoid this salon.

Been going to Great Clips on Woodman Drive for 5 years. Made an appointment week of Aug 11th. Show up for the cut. Was never approached to check me in. The stylist cut 4 people hair out of order and still hadn't check me in. Another lady who were sign up but not check in. After 30 minutes, I left and they added me as a no show. Talk to district manager by email and they turn it around to make it my fault. Never again will I go here for any services. Especially with the manager and district manager both are horrible. Found the one on Far Hills Avenue is just as close, but much nicer.

Because it's close, I went there for three years. I put off hair cuts as long as I could. The man there always gives me a single white wall after I've said no whitewall. As well my hair always smells like cigarette smoke. Not worth a fourth of the cost.

I got my cut from Donna ** today. She's just the best. She has been cutting my hair on and off for ten years. I don't usually get to the area but if/when she's available, I always ask for her. She not only "listens" but she's quite good at cutting, styling and understanding what I actually want vs what I need. She's fun, funny and I think she's awesome!

I visited Great Clips in New Milford CT in summer 2024 and asked for a trim. I HAD very curly hair and my regular hair dresser was not available, but since it was just a trim I thought it would be fine. The patron I saw was a very young, tiny blonde. As I sat in the chair she turned it away from me seeing in the mirror, which isn't always common. When she was finished cutting my hair she turned the chair back and I was so taken back by what I saw, I was speechless. She didn't give me a trim, she styled it as a mullet, and damaged my curl pattern so badly that I'm still trying to get it back, which my hairdresser assured me will happen but not for a while. It is now summer 2025 and it's just starting to wave so I have hope. I'm a 73 year old woman with short flat hair instead of all my natural curls.

The Great Clips on Ellerslie Corner Edmonton has poor service and quality. The Great Clips on 34th Ave and Gateway Blvd provides quality and good customer service. Be careful which salon you attend. Inconsistent between salons.
