A Nightmare of Inefficiency and Delay - Avoid Marble Law Firm! I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Marble Law Firm recently, and I must say that it was nothing short of a complete disaster. If I could give them zero stars, I would. From start to finish, their lack of responsiveness and snail-paced legal proceedings were beyond infuriating.
First and foremost, their so-called "customer service" is an absolute joke. It took a whopping 72 hours for them to even bother getting back to me regarding my legal concerns. In a world where timely communication is essential, Marble Law Firm seems to be living in the Stone Age. I had to chase them down multiple times, leaving voicemails and sending countless emails, only to receive generic and unhelpful responses days later.
But the agony didn't stop there. When it finally came time to address my legal matters, the pace at which Marble Law Firm operated was reminiscent of a sloth on a leisurely stroll. The wheels of justice turned so slowly that I found myself constantly wondering if any progress was being made at all. It was as if my case was at the bottom of their priority list, gathering dust while more pressing matters took precedence.
What's even more infuriating is that the firm's lackadaisical attitude seemed to extend to the actual legal work as well. Documents were filled with errors and oversights that I had to repeatedly point out and ask for corrections. It was as if they were more interested in wasting time than in providing competent legal assistance. The saddest part is that my experience with Marble Law Firm is not an isolated incident. A quick search online reveals numerous others who have faced similar frustrations with their glacial pace and lack of professionalism. It's clear that this is a pattern of behavior for them, and it's utterly unacceptable.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Although it can be hard to hear we fell short of providing quality care, your feedback is very important to us. Our client quality team will be looking into this and reaching out to discuss your concerns!

Just a bad law firm. Both lawyers assigned to me never responded in a timely manner. Any estimated time to respond (72 hours) was well exceeded. Took one of them over a month to reach back to me after several attempts. My case never moved past planning. The first lawyer just up and left their firm, leaving my case abandoned. No prior notification, no heads up from him. Marble's solution was to offer another lawyer or the option for me to cancel the contract (no refund offered for the initial $1200 paid). The second lawyer assigned is doing the same thing and not responding. Even the people at Marble admitted the second lawyer wasn't responding to them. They should admit things fell through and refund the money so I can at least hire a lawyer that wants the case.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Marble strives to be an affordable legal provider that provides quality care to our clients. We will have our leadership team look into your concerns and contact you with a solution.

After waiting time and time again and through two different attorneys of theirs nothing was ever completed. After several explanations of what was needed still attempted to file the wrong items. Attorneys don't return calls and you constantly have to chase your tail with them. Quick to take your money but horrible at delivering any results. After 7 months deal waiting and waiting asked for a refund and still got the run around. Finally agreed to refund and they stated "someone" would call to finalize results and complete refund in 7-10 days. No one ever called. Just received an email stating the refund would process 7-10 days. 21 days later still no refund and impossible to get anyone on the phone. Incentive, horrible service, on a legal matter that was dragged out over 7 months with no resolution. Would never recommend.

Do not use them! They’re a bunch of scammers! Trying to charge me $3,500 after they filed my case and then told me that my attorney can no longer represent my case and they’re no longer serving my state. Who would pay thousands of dollars for services not rendered when they have to represent themselves? Bunch of criminals.

We are happy to see your concerns have been addressed by our leadership team and a solution was already provided. We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and we wish you the best moving forward in your legal journey.

This is the most unresponsive and unprofessional law firm. Dealing with their customer service is the most challenging part. With the lack of communication with attorneys and paralegals and the bare minimum of help from customer service, take your money elsewhere. You will wait 1-3 business days for any concern, then never receive a call. Then when you call back, it’s another 1-3 business days, and the circle repeats. I constantly call about the same issues and get the same cookie-cutter answer. No supervisor can help, and customer service is the only number not to receive help. It may be affordable, but you get what you pay for. Take your money to a more professional firm because Marble Law is anything but professional. You already deal with many stressors needing legal help, but dealing with this company makes it 100 times worse. Why pay your good money to these people so that they can add to your headache?

We appreciate your feedback. Upon review, we see the concerns noted have already been escalated to our leadership team. Our client quality team will continue to monitor your case to ensure everything is on track.

I have a custody case involving my son who is in great danger. 3 months after my initial talks with the attorney, nothing has been filed. I requested my money back via email and phone call and still have not heard from them at all. When they wanted my money they sure as heck called me back to back. Now I can't get anyone in reference to my refund so that I can hire a competent attorney. One girl there told me they don't even handle the financial part and that it's handled by a whole other company called Genesis? There had says that they will work with anyone's budget but when we went to make the down payment, they ran a hard credit check and used our credit but never told us about it! I will be reporting this to the bar.

I needed an attorney for a custody/ divorce/ assault case. A lot of my information was incorrectly entered at intake, I was told an attorney would represent me in court and now I can't get anyone to return my messages. When I read the agreement, it stated that I would be responsible for actually serving the other party, I called for verification and was told they would. Now, it's very understood that it's what's on the paper that counts, right?! Then when I asked about representation, I was told that if I needed it, there would be a video call. Since covid restrictions have been lifted, this is not acceptable in our court. I could not get an answer or a return call, so I called privately and was told that I would be reimbursed. Nothing! I'm sorry, this may not seem like a big deal to you, but it's my child. And I would like my money since you clearly have done nothing. Thank you!

I contacted Marble Law online and requested legal representation, and advice. Marble law responded by email with an initial call set up at a specific time and date. When the time came for their phone call to me, I immediately received an email from Marble Law Stating that I missed my call from them, when in fact no one from Marble Law contacted me at my given direct phone number at the specific time as in their email to me. Nor did they respond by email. I responded that no one from Marble Law contacted me. Two days later, Marble Law contacts me by email, stating they have made several attempts to contact me regarding my legal matter. I am stating, that NO one from Marble Law has contacted me directly. No email, no follow up phone call or any correspondence other than computer generated generic responses.
I contacted Marble Law in a follow up email to their “help” email address explaining the situation and asking them directly how and what method they used to contact me after telling me via email that they were unable to contact me and if I still needed help to contact them. Well, I sent them an email as stated to the help email address provided asking questions about why no one contacted me? I never received any response.
This is not only unethical but bad business practices. I would be very careful doing any business with this law firm as I didn’t even get the common courtesy of a response from a human being on serious legal issue. I would be very careful when doing business with Marble Law. They certainly dropped the ball with my case. Imagine having them take your money, do nothing for your case or even contact you, and you lose your case?

I hired Marble Law because I need an attorney for my family child support case, and I did not have the money upfront for an attorney. Marble Law offered me to be able to pay a down payment and make payments towards a loan. Being desperate, I agree and started on an almost 5,000 loan. They placed me with an attorney who sold me from day one. He was unprofessional, during trial he was unprepared, all the evidence I gave him he did not use. He called me my ex wife names during trial. The questions I asked him to ask he didn’t. He dropped the ball in court.
Since then I have tried to reach out to Marble Law about this and no one has called me back, no one has emailed me back and everytime I call they give me the runaround. That someone will call me in 48hrs and nothing. It’s been 3 months and I have not heard from anyone. After they get you to sign and no matter how their attorney represents, no matter how you feel they will not call you back, they don’t care after that. Before I hired them they were calling me left and right now I can’t get anyone on the phone. I wish I never hired them, even before his horrible display at trial I was calling in unhappy with him. They did nothing but because he did such a horrible job at trial the judgement I received was practically nothing. So now I’m back to square one. They won’t get another dime until someone calls me back!

They said this would be a pay as you go for each step through the process of the divorce. The first month with them I was hounded with calls to write them a good review. First, it was the filing of the divorce and serving the papers $2500. With a small down payment they hooked me up with a loan for the balance. Then they finally assigned me an attorney who called me for details, once. The papers were filed and my husband was served. I received an email that he had been served and a copy of the papers.
Next, they called to tell me that they would need to answer the petition after his attorney answered. I had not received a copy of the answer, so I had to ask for a copy, so they emailed me a copy and they said there would be an additional charge for them to answer the petition. In the meantime I received a letter from the court saying there would be a a zoom meeting with my attorney, his attorney, myself, my husband and a Court Case Manager on a specific date. I tried contacting Marble to see if they received the letter, which I felt they should have already contacted me to say they received it. I had to go to their website and request a call. Someone called me back and said that they did receive the letter, but there would be an additional charge for them to reply to the answer petition and for my attorney to be present on the zoom meeting. Another down payment and loan of $2500.
The copy of the answer to the petition was emailed to me for my approval. This answer probably didn't take someone more than 15 minutes to write. This is a 2 year marriage and the only thing joint is the house, which I am contesting giving him half of the equity, being I have put a lot of my own money into the house. When it came time for the zoom meeting, my divorce attorney wasn't present, it was I believe to be a paralegal that assisted my attorney. I paid for my attorney to be present not someone else. The meeting took about 10 minutes if that and I went to speak and my representative asked me not to and she would call me after the meeting. Neither, me or my husband spoke. It was decided by the attorneys and case manager that we would schedule a mediation.
Next, I got a call from my representative, not my attorney telling me that she didn't want me to speak in the meeting because she had things to discuss that she didn't want the others to hear. That tuned out to be the additional cost to move forward. In order for Marble to help with the financial disclosures, which are simple, and for them to be present at the mediation, which would be another zoom meeting. Marble only does email and internet, it was going to cost another $4,000.
That would mean all together $9,000 in loans. I was already paying on loans for $5,000. I am on a fixed retirement income an struggling. I told them I couldn't afford another $4,000, or I may not be able to get another loan. I said I needed to put a hold on things while I worked out my financial situation. I got an email that day that they are no longer representing me.
So, bottom line is this pay as you go thing is very expensive, they don't put a lot of work into your case, they don't keep you informed, you are assigned an attorney, but good luck being able to speak to her or having her present to represent you. And, if you put a hold on things to come up with the additional money, they drop you in the middle of everything! Now I have a deadline with the court for my financials and a mediation and no attorney!

Marble Law is a law firm that should be shutdown and prosecuted for its lies and false claims of how they will represent you. I was looking for new legal representation on a custody case that was already in progress for nine months. My first lawyer I hired for $2500.00, started my case and worked for months on that 2500.00 before that money ran out and they wanted more. With my case still not any farther than from where we started, I decided to seek new counsel.
The fee they came up with and changed was almost $4000.00. That is a lot of money, but after my first legal team took nine months to go through my $2500.00, I thought $4000.00 would surly get me to the end of my court case.
What I found out after I paid them $4000.00 and after my next court hearing, was a total shock and a lie. They not only took $4000.00 dollars from me, but were only representing for this one hearing, which took only ten minutes, through zoom. when I spoke to the lawyer that marble law assigned to me about what our plan was for the next court date, my lawyer stated to me that he was told my marble law that he only was to show up for this one court date, and that if I wanted to hire him I could. I was stunned when he said I could hire him because at that point, paying $4000.00 I thought I already had hired him. Come to find out that wasn’t the case. What I was looking for in legal representation and what they agreed to verbally over the phone was manipulated in the contract they have you sign.
Marble law also has a financing company in there back pocket called “genesis” credit company. Although I was able to finance the payment myself they offered a discount if I financed though Genesis. So I went ahead with the credit application with Genesis, got approved and all seemed well until my first and only court hearing with marble law representing me.
I filed a fraud claim with genesis credit company stating that Marble Law falsified its contract with me and charged me $4000 for a 10 minute court hearing. After asking marble law for documentation or an itemized bill on how they used that 4000 dollars they charged me, marble laws response was that’s not how their law firm works. When marble law refused to provide documentation on the spending of the 4000 dollars I wanted marble law to refund my money based on over charging me for the representation they provided. Marble law refused that refund request as well.
Big red flags when you can’t see how a law firm spends your money. So the only other option I had left was to try and get my money back by filing a fraud claim against marble law with the financing company “genesis credit” which I did. Genesis also denied my fraud claim which I found to be quite disturbing and difficult to understand. After thinking about it a while, the only conclusion I can come up with is that the two companies "Marble law and Genesis credit" are working together.
If I paid them the way I initially want to with my own methods of payment, I know for a fact that a fraud that was done to me would have been approved. Any legitimate financing company would realize that charging someone 4000 for a ten minute hearing isn’t only fraud, but a crime. I’ve worked very hard, my whole life to keep my credit established and my credit score good and because of what these two companies have done, it most certainly will effect that.
I refuse to pay that ridiculous price for what representation I received, but neither Marble law or Genesis credit will refund me my money. Contract be damned in this case. Marble Law manipulated their contract to suit their needs and not the needs of the clients who they basically stole from. What you’re made to believe verbally over the phone consultations is not put into their contracts. Their contract is only designed to suit the law firms needs, not the client who’s hiring them.No one in their right mind would pay $4000 for a 10 minute court hearing, yet, that’s what I was charged and that’s the services that I received through Marble Law firm, "4 grand for a 10 minute zoom hearing".

I thought this was going to be an amazing service because attorneys are very expensive so who wouldn't take advantage of a payment plan for legal help? You get what you pay for. I haven't heard from my legal person in about a month. He contacted me to ask me questions, I answered him and when I reached out for status, I found out he was gone on vacation. He left notes saying he filed paperwork but when I went online to check, nothing was filed. I can't get a straight answer or update from anyone. I elected to employ Marble Law because I had a relatively time sensitive situation that I need taken care of regarding custody and didn’t have all of the money together to employ a lawyer outright. The price you pay for services is hellaciously overinflated, but with services like this, it is what it is. Honestly, even their boarder line criminal pricing would be more than worth it to me for peace of mind on my situation, but it has done absolutely NOTHING but add to my stress. I officially employed them and had my strategy call in early may. I told them I needed paperwork filed (literally just filed) in my state by the first week of August. I was assured this was absolutely doable and that I could set my mind at ease.
In truth, the first few weeks of delay was on my end as I had a hard time getting certified paperwork from another state to submit to my lawyer, but I eventually got that all settled in early June. Now, I have literally been waiting for almost 7 weeks for a Marble representative to send me two or three pieces of paperwork that have been drafted so I can sign them and have them submitted. I’ve been told consistently that someone (I won’t mention a name) was supposed to be sending this paperwork out to me. I assumed until today that this someone was an office person with my lawyers office, but NO, IT'S THE MARBLE REPRESENTATIVE HANDLING MY CASE.
This process was supposed to be one where I was kept abreast of everything going on and yet I wasn’t even aware of the person working for the company that I’m giving $7000 to for $2500-$3500 worth of actual legal service. Now I’m two weeks from my deadline and was further told that Marble is in the process of shutting down service in my state so it seems as though I’ll have a hard time getting any help in time. I literally could have A.) saved the money to work directly with the lawyer by now or even B.) educated and filed the paperwork myself. I literally just wanted something timely and official, but it has been an absolute nightmare at every. single. turn. I really wish I would have been warned that business in my state was to be terminated and I would be unlikely to receive help. I could have used my time, effort, and money on something more constructive.

My experience with this law firm was not the best at all. The lawyer they assigned me to (Rachelle **) never gave me the time to tell her my situation before my pre-trial. Every time I would call her she had something going on with her mother, I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I know she has a personal life too but she never gave me her time. I was able to talk to her for 30 minutes before our hearing and that's it. She had me running around trying to print out evidence 30 minutes before we had to be there. She flat out asked me to deny something that I didn't want to deny because I didn't want to look like a dishonest person in court. She told me to trust her and I couldn't because I knew she didn't know the whole situation and I didn't want to look dumb in court. The court and all that was going to happen was never fully explained to me so I had no idea what was going to happen, then they requested another $6,500 to go to trial.
No one ever explained any of this to me nor did they get my story on what we were fighting against so that a plan could be in place. During the pre-trial the opposing attorney was grilling me about the situation, when it was my lawyer's time to question she didn't know what questions to ask and was writing down questions to ask the other party while he was being questioned on the stand by the other attorney. None of the questions were going anywhere and she just flat out didn't know what was going on. If I would of known there was going to be additional charges to that extent I would of been prepared but I couldn't do that so now I have to go to my trial unrepresented. I don't know if this is how the firm handles things as a whole or it was just the attorney but I will never recommend this to anyone who is fighting for their kids.
The only thing that saved me was the fact that I am a great mother and no one could deny that. When I voiced my concerns to her she told me, "What are you upset about. We won"..... We did win the preliminary hearing but we still have to go to trial and I will be going alone. But let it be known!!!! I will fight this battle alone if I have to but I will never stop fighting for my daughter!!!!

I am updating this to a four star. Since it was resolved completely to my satisfaction. I am not giving it a five star for the following I believe fair reasons. I had to make a public review to get this expeditiously handled. I must have slipped through some cracks they have. They did completely make me whole again and the company was for the most part, aside from my one issue, easy to do business with. Had my services been setup and rendered correctly with the attorney I believe it would have been a five star experience. Use your initial talk with the attorney wisely and read what they submit to Marble. Thank you Marble for doing the right thing.

Last year, during the initiation of my divorce proceedings with my ex-wife, we required the assistance of legal professionals to draft a separation agreement. I engaged Marble Law for this purpose, paying a substantial sum of money upfront. Initially, we consulted with an attorney from their firm to discuss our specific service requirements. Subsequently, we electronically signed numerous documents and fulfilled the payment obligations. I provided the attorney with relevant information and awaited their review and revision of the documents. After receiving an email requesting an editable format, I promptly complied by sending the revised documents. Unfortunately, I received no further communication from Marble Law for almost a year.
Approximately a month ago, out of the blue, I received a text message from the law office stating that they still had an open case pertaining to our situation. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them via email, my inquiries went unanswered. It was only recently that a new paralegal contacted me, apologizing for the confusion and explaining that a previous paralegal and I shared the same name, which led to the oversight. By this time, however, I had already independently prepared and filed all necessary paperwork, effectively concluding my case without their assistance. Realizing their services were no longer required, I reached out to Marble Law with hopes of obtaining a refund for the services I never received.
During my conversation with them, I was informed that they had noted a pending appointment with my attorney, which was inaccurate. In response, they sent an email suggesting that I resolve the matter with my attorney, even though such collaboration was not feasible. In light of this situation, I promptly called Marble Law once again to reiterate my request for a refund. Several hours later, I received an email stating that my case had been successfully closed and all services rendered. Naturally, I expressed my objection to this decision, which left me increasingly frustrated. I immediately contacted them again, demanding an immediate refund. Eventually, they agreed to provide a partial refund. However, this transpired two weeks ago.
Today, during my recent call to Marble Law, the representative informed me that they needed special permissions to process the refund due to the closure of my case. It is disconcerting to note that they had previously assured me of a refund prior to closing my case, making their current stance feel like mere lip service. I remain skeptical that I will receive any further communication from them, and consequently, I have resolved to persistently advocate for a refund by sharing my negative experience with everyone I know until a satisfactory resolution is reached. My attorney was also ** which I see here has a similar review.

Marble was very attentive and communicative prior to me paying them the flat fee. They are just a middleman that sends your case on to some other, seemingly random law firm. I have been having no luck with being assigned a new lawyer after asking multiple times before the current lawyer ever actually spoke with me. I have been displeased since the start since this is effectively delaying major life changes.
After weeks of me reaching out, the lawyer eventually spoke with me for about 5 or 10 minutes after having to text and email her directly several times, and then having to complain to Marble about no or delayed communication from her. The call basically consisted of a few questions, and then her telling me it'll take 3-5 days to send the document over since she must be in court that week. It took longer than that and when the document finally arrived it contained an easily avoidable error. She then disappeared for weeks again after I alerted her to the error. I have had 0 communication since.
I need this case reassigned, but no one helps at Marble, and they seemingly just ignore your complaints. I guess I’ve paid and now they don’t care since they have their money. I’m contemplating just finding a new lawyer on my own (without the use of the Marble middleman) and then seeing if I can reach out to the BBB or someone else to receive a refund (full or partial) from Marble since nothing has really been completed on this case besides one incorrect draft of a document.
