We have had the stove less than a month and the silver lower burner pieces lost their silver finish. The black burner caps will not come clean no matter what I tried. I think LG picked the wrong materials for the burners. The grates are the same. They are turning white wherever pots sit. I would not purchase this unit.

Disappointing experience overall. The induction stove has been unreliable, with performance issues appearing far sooner than expected for a product in this price range. Customer service has been unhelpful and dismissive, offering little effort to actually resolve the problem. The extended warranty, purchased for peace of mind, turned out to be essentially useless, restrictive, slow, and not worth the cost. I would not recommend this product or LG’s extended warranty based on my experience.

The stove is the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. I'm 61 years old and have had many stoves. This thing is junk. The switches for the controls for the burners don't work properly. They came. They put new switches. It's the same crap if it's on high and you could turn it to low it stays on high so your stuff and boiling. Just so ridiculous piece of junk. I don't recommend anybody buy one of these. I paid like 900 bucks for this piece of crap. Not happy. Will never buy LG stuff again.

Purchased in Feb. 2015, and got the extended 4 year warranty. Was very happy with stove overall until Dec 2025. One burner stopped at some point after seeming to be successfully in use. Happened twice in Fall 2025. Looked at troubleshooting and the only advice was to shut off the circuit to the stove for several minutes. Did that. 12/31 set oven to 350, seemed to be working. However items in stove for appropriate length of time were cool to the touch. Since only suggestion was to contact Repair service I have opted to replace this lightly used appliance with a similar G/E model since I'm sure the repair cost and timeframe would not be worth the investment. Feel this unit should have easily lastly another 2 years.

I bought the LG Thinq electric stove a couple of years ago. Immediately, the cooktop scratches, you cannot move a pan, or it will scratch. If water boils over, you are likely to never get the stain out. Easy clean does not work, convection doesn't heat above 325 degrees. It's really a terrible stove, and LG products used to be good. Won't buy one ever again.

I bought an LG gas double door range only to find out that when we installed it our gas was propane and not natural gas so we had to pay for a technician to come out and switch something on the back of the stove. (We were never told this when the stove was installed. So for 2 years I have not been able to use both ovens together.) Also, when the technician was here I told him I have tried and tried to self clean both the ovens and it only cleans the bottom oven. The top one I have to do the easy clean thing which does not get the grease out of the oven. The top oven is where you broil and grill and that is the one that does not have the self clean. Does that make any sense at all?

My top oven is full of grease now. Also the bottom oven door at the top has a grate that is open to the glass so if your bottom oven is open and you spill something it goes does in between the glass and no way to clean it unless you take the door apart! As far as I am concerned the range is fine, the rest is a lemon and would not recommend it to anyone!

Bought a brand new LG gas range on August 9, 2025. The oven has worked 2 times in the beginning and then just stopped in the middle of baking something. The technician said it needed a motherboard after looking at it for less than 5 minutes. He said he ordered one to come to my house. It never showed. I called LG again and was told no technicians in our area so no fix. I did more research and was told there are technicians in our area. Of course! The 2nd one says it doesn't need a motherboard, it needs a valve and ignitor. That'll take a couple more weeks.

It's now Sept 30th and still no working oven. It's supposedly been escalated to LG presidential liaison, Who you cannot contact. A person named Amirhat messaged me and wanted proof of purchase which I provided, for a solution of some sort. I asked what it would be. NO RESPONSE. I was told they were calling yesterday. NO CALL. Now I was told they are calling on Oct 6th. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE. They need to come pick this up and give us a new one or fully refund us. They don't stand behind their products or customers. Wish I had done better research before buying.

I bought an LG Stove 2 months ago and it is very slow to heat up the right element and my sister has the same stove and it also has the same problem. I wanted to lower the oven temperature while I was baking but it will not allow me to do that. I have to turn off the oven and reset it to turn the oven down. It does not cook my banana bread evenly and it takes 30 minutes for four litres of water to come to a boil, far too long. This stove does not work properly and they will not take it back. I am never buying any LG products again. I cook a lot, cakes, pies, making jam, turkey, roasts and this is not a good oven for any of these things. I have never had so many problems with a new stove before. This is not a good stove. I love to cook but hate using this stove as it takes so long to do anything with it. If you want to add another hour to your cooking time in the kitchen get this piece of junk.

We ordered and received our LG range late 2024. I would consider this a “higher end” range in terms of price and styling, as it cost $2,000.00. Specifically, this model has a blue (enamel?) interior. We have noticed chipping with the blue interior since the beginning. We reported it, and without even looking at images or sending a tech out, LG is quick to accuse of either improper cleaning and/or food spillage… Neither of which has occurred. They don’t want to admit it’s a defect. But without acknowledging or clarifying what caused the chipping, they readily state it’s not covered under warranty because it’s “wear and tear.” Their customer service is truly atrocious. Again, very accusatory and very quick to make decisions. I’m happy with their washer and dryer, but the overall experience with this range is truly the worst. In the new one, this appliance is less than one year old and already rusting/oxidizing inside.

I have had this stove (LREL6323S) for 1.2 yrs now and the radiant element has burnt out. Since this is in a rental unit and I am having a hard time getting the serial number off the range, and customer service won't talk to the tenant. They will not create a ticket without the serial number or help the tenant locate the serial number to give to me so I can call it in and get a ticket created. Customer service says there is not limited 5 yr warranty on certain parts and are attempting to not honor their limited warrant on this part. I have been given the runaround on 3 different occasions now and the tenants have called twice now and gotten the run around as well. I have 9 LG appliances up to this point all but the range works just fine. As a result of the poor handling of this one matter, I will never buy another LG product again. I was always told their customer service was absolutely awful, they were not lying.

The front knobs are too easily turned on. Luckily I have caught my toddler turn the stove on twice in the few years that I have owned it. My pregnant belly can easily turn on knobs while I am cooking and/or cleaning. I would recommend top knobs with children to avoid these safety concerns as it could easily result in a fire if anything had been left on top. After multiple communication attempts with LG they finally did share how to lock the knobs but you would have to lock/unlock after each use which is an extra step that most parents would find troublesome after every use. That was only shared after a lawsuit on this model range. Lastly, the air fry option does not seem to work as it takes the same amount of cooking time.

I purchased this LG slide in electric range a year ago for a summer home. Overall, I have not used it much since it is not our full- time home, but are very disappointed with its performance and design. LG customer service has not been helpful in taking action with a mishap that occurred while try to remove a stain from this delicate enamel interior. Rather than run the self cleaning feature, a cleaning agent was used to remove a spot on this new stove and it is permanently damaged. There was no warning, with any labels or printed on the inside of oven door, about using cleaning agents in this oven, other than in small print in the manual.

Unfortunately, after researching how to remedy this, I have found that many other consumers have had the same occurrence happen to their LG ovens and there is no remedy- just ruined. The knobs are a very serious defect in design- my grandchildren have walked by and I have had to watch that the knobs do not move, especially when cooking and the lock is not on. It is a constant worry and would not have chosen this oven had known about it in advance. Lastly, the temperature in the oven is either not working properly or needs to be recalibrated- cookies should not take 40 mins. to bake. I feel that I was misled when purchasing this range, not knowing what potential dangers can exist with it.

Poor quality, technical quality is poor, and with recalls (LG solving it by providing warning stickers) that’s crazy!! Turning one knob on will turn others - without warnings, and making a fire hazard… Stay away since the warranty is limited to 1yr and then $420 as a starter expense. I would not recommend LG, unless they prove their customer loyalty and fixing without any extra charge.

I bought a complete kitchen appliance set from Sam's club, refrigerator electric range and dishwasher. The refrigerator arrived with a ding on the door, Sam's club offered to replace it or give a discount. I chose the discount because it could be hidden with magnets or other type decorations. I got delivery on March 24th, now April 30th and the range to is disfigured. See picture. Sam's club offered to replace it, but my problem is why replace it if it's going to happen again.

Sam's club advised to call LG to see if they can resolve the issue. LG's response? That's your problem, it's not covered by our warranty, you caused it, you're on your own. This is after sending pictures of the stovetop and the product used to clean it. Their representative said, "you're cooking sugar or salt in the range and that's what caused that." And, "it must be the type of pots you're using." His advice, let Sam's club give you a new one. I said, why would I want a new one if it's going to reoccur, I might as well buy a Samsung. His response, ok bye. That's LG customer service for you. You don't like it, screw off. The fifteen year old GE when we bought this house a Year and 9 months ago didn't look like this! And we're using the same kitchen utensils! Not yet six weeks and the range top is disfigured! I guess it's on to another brand.

I purchased an LG electric range model #LSEL6335F in April of 2024. I have had numerous problems with this stove right from the beginning. Unfortunately i started using the oven part of it about a month after I received it and Lowe's would not take it back. Told me I had to go through warranty department of LG. Very long story short, I had a technician out 6 times. The oven part is defective and does not cook food underneath, It remains raw whether it is pizza or bread or even trying to cook a cake like cheesecake it remains raw on the inside. The technicians only measured the temp inside the oven and reported nothing wrong with the unit. I went as far as cooking a pizza right in front of several of the techs and they took pics and submitted them with their report and LG would do absolutely nothing about it. I do not know what else I could have done to prove this oven is defective so now I am stuck with a defective oven that cost approx $1000.

Please do your research before buying anything from LG because if something is wrong they will find a way not to cover the unit or refund you. A huge disappointment and waste of money. I will never buy another thing from LG just for the ongoing terrible experience I've had with them. P.S. Forgot to mention that they told me to buy a pizza stone to help cook the pizza better, not only did it not work because we really wanted things to work, we are out of $100 in purchasing a stone that did not do what they said it would with no apology or reimbursement. I have never encountered a company with the worse customer service ethics and complete lack of accountability.

I have model LDE4415ST. The right front burner went out. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn’t before it went out completely. Knobs are super sensitive. You could bump into it and it would accidentally turn on. After realizing how dangerous the stove could be I installed a gate to the kitchen and removed ALL knobs when not in use because I have kids and a dog. I’ve used the stove for 2 1/2years. It is a beautiful stove but it’s not worth the risk.

One day I left one knob on and a kid or dog bumped into it causing a small stove top fire. Unfortunately, my fire extinguisher malfunctioned so the small stove top fire turned into a huge house fire. It will take at least 6 months before my house will be habitable again. I wouldn’t recommend this stove to anyone and if you have one ALWAYS remove the knobs! And just in case you don’t remember to remove the knobs make sure you have an up to date working fire extinguisher in arms reach!

I bought a LG Range, model #LSEL6333F from Lowe's and was delivered / installed mid-Jan 2025. Since I have been using the range (less than 60 days), I've been burned twice by the vent in the rear of the stovetop and once from the oven's metal framework along the front of the range-top above the control knobs while having the "oven cleaning" function in operation and the large front burner on high setting. When I contacted LG Customer service online on 4 Mar25, I was texted that they would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. I could not find a customer service Phone number to LG on their website, but Lowe's gave me the number to LG customer service (833-378-0003). On 6 Mar 25, I called the LG Customer Service number given to me by Lowe's. On 7 Mar 25, I finally got a call from the LG Escalation TM to discuss my issue. LG Rep would only agree to schedule a service technician visit / inspection.

They dispatched a service technician who admitted his inability to correct the hazardous operation of the stove. Instead he referred to the owner’s manual stating it would be hot during operation. LG would not authorize a return / exchange with since there was no repair required. LG accepts that the Self-Clean Oven feature is hazardous according to the owner’s manual. Nothing was mentioned about a LG recall on the range due to the front-mounted knobs on the ranges being easily activated by accidental contact by humans or pets, posing a fire hazard.

This is validated by the Consumer Product Service Commission as of 6 Feb 25 citing 86 reports of unintentional activation involving more than 28 fires, 8 injuries, 3 pet deaths, and five fires caused extensive property damage totaling over $340,000. LG’s recall solution is to provide a decal warning to owners/ users. Unacceptable for sub-par safety operation in my opinion. LG obviously produces a hazardous product and is evidently willing to let the Buyer beware. NO more LG products for me and I encourage others to not buy LG Products.
