I bought the LG Thinq stainless steel range with the air fryer and convection oven built in. It lasted a year and a half. The oven part would not maintain the correct temperature and would suddenly switch to broil in the midst of baking and burn the food. I learned the sensor and heating was a consistent issue with this product. I would not buy an LG stove again.

Zero stars. I bought all new LG appliances for my brand-new fully renovated kitchen. This was the worst mistake of my life. I bought the full set from dishwasher, refrigerator, stove & microwave. The microwave completely fell apart within two to three years. The stove they had to replace the control unit within the first couple of years. A year after that the control has a recall and does not work at all. I can't even use the stove so now I'm out a stove as well. I will never ever buy LG again in my life. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BRAND!!!

I bought a LG Range, model #LSEL6333F from Lowe's and was delivered / installed mid-Jan 2025. Since I have been using the range (less than 60 days), I've been burned twice by the vent in the rear of the stovetop and once from the oven's metal framework along the front of the range-top above the control knobs while having the "oven cleaning" function in operation and the large front burner on high setting. When I contacted LG Customer service online on 4 Mar25, I was texted that they would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. I could not find a customer service Phone number to LG on their website, but Lowe's gave me the number to LG customer service (833-378-0003). On 6 Mar 25, I called the LG Customer Service number given to me by Lowe's. On 7 Mar 25, I finally got a call from the LG Escalation TM to discuss my issue. LG Rep would only agree to schedule a service technician visit / inspection.

They dispatched a service technician who admitted his inability to correct the hazardous operation of the stove. Instead he referred to the owner’s manual stating it would be hot during operation. LG would not authorize a return / exchange with since there was no repair required. LG accepts that the Self-Clean Oven feature is hazardous according to the owner’s manual. Nothing was mentioned about a LG recall on the range due to the front-mounted knobs on the ranges being easily activated by accidental contact by humans or pets, posing a fire hazard.

This is validated by the Consumer Product Service Commission as of 6 Feb 25 citing 86 reports of unintentional activation involving more than 28 fires, 8 injuries, 3 pet deaths, and five fires caused extensive property damage totaling over $340,000. LG’s recall solution is to provide a decal warning to owners/ users. Unacceptable for sub-par safety operation in my opinion. LG obviously produces a hazardous product and is evidently willing to let the Buyer beware. NO more LG products for me and I encourage others to not buy LG Products.

LG Electric Range Model LRE3193. Purchased Sept 2019 so only 5 years 5 months old. Heat Error F9 - repair person said the heat sensor wires to the oven were melted, very expensive to repair and replace. And he said there's no use repairing because he could see other wires in the store were also showing deterioration. And he also said that this is a common problem with stoves now, rarely last 7 years. And the more you use the oven for baking the faster it will fail - well what the heck is the oven good for then? We didn't use the oven every day, normal use I would say and rarely at high temps like 400 deg.

Within two months of purchasing our electric stove have had major issues which are basically being ignored. Having said that I will acknowledge that the glass in the oven door that cracked was replaced. The other complaints ignored. Most recently the convection doesn’t work because the fan doesn’t work. The air fryer never did work. The digital clock has only partial numbers. The oven temperature remains extremely inconsistent so several meals and Christmas baking have been ruined. LG has ignored my emails. The store I bought the appliance from wants me to deal directly with the producer of the appliance, which is LG.

In the small town I live there are two of us who have electric stoves under two years old that are malfunctioning, mine's the worst. The neighbour up the street bought a new gas stove, and experiencing similar problems with inconsistent heat in the oven and on her stovetop. My complaints however, are the worst. I have dissuaded my brother from buying an induction LG because there seems to be no respect for the consumer and no pride in product by the company. Please pay attention to my reading and try to instill some pride in the LG brand-name. It’s sad to see that it has fallen by the wayside due to poor.

I own an LSG4511ST stove, and I’ve been incredibly disappointed with its quality and safety issues. The knobs have completely fallen apart, and replacements cost a ridiculous $75 each. Even worse, if you have a burner set to simmer while the oven is on, the convection fan blows out the flame—causing gas to leak. This is a serious hazard, and I would strongly advise against purchasing this stove.

Luckily we put it out. We try to use the lock all the time but this time it didn't happen. I don't like that both front burners are on ultra heat all the time and are hard to control. They are starting to ruin the stainless steel pots we use. I think that a light should be lit for each burner since you don't know which is hot..I feel that LG has not lived up to expectations on safety and fire protection. Is there a recall on the range and can the ultra burners be replaced?

There is one burner that does not operate properly and LG does not appear able to fix it. It overheats and in my mind, is a serious fire hazard, as it randomly works properly sometimes and sometimes not. It burns food and pans. I've spent money and time on this stove, waiting on 4 separate occasions for repair since they didn't show up one day and didn't tell me until 30 min left in the appointment window. And, I'm about to send this stove to the dump and never buy LG again. Purchased from home depot. Clip from receipt to protect personal info.

I purchased model LREL6321S and regret it with every fiber of my being. I went w/o a vacay to buy this range for almost $900. It was a few mos old when I baked a lasagna in the oven. The dish bubbled over onto the bottom of the oven and made a mess. I hit the "easy clean" button but could not get it to set for 5 hrs. I called LG and they told me my model only had the easy clean which is a 10 min cycle. I tried it and the oven barely got warm. I called them back and told them it did nothing. They told me that was all they could do, and to maybe use a credit card to scrape some off.

You can't use oven cleaner nor foil and some baking dishes are too large for a catch pan to go underneath. I worked for over 4 hrs and got about 75% removed with hot water and a cc. Why would they put a piece of crap oven cleaning feature that DOES NOTHING? I am not gun shy about baking anything in the oven. How can they call it an oven cleaner feature when it is not? The pull out drawer is also a piece of crap. When you pull it out you cant get it to go back in properly and it is as thin as tin foil.... JUNK.

Bottom line, please DO YOU HOMEWORK before you buy something and don't trust the salesperson who knows very little about it. It is a shame that our Country has gone downhill so bad that appliances are not built to last but yet be replaced before the warranty has expired. The additional yr of warranty by LG was a joke too. You have to get the app, set up wi-fi, etc. My wi-fi is 5g the stove is 2.4g so I finally said screw it, keep your warranty. ALL BRANDS ARE BAD, BUT IF YOU BAKE A LOT DO NOT BUY THIS STOVE.

We purchased a new LG range model #LSSE3026ST in Nov 2018. It had the features and the look that I wanted. However, 3 months after the purchase, we had a large electrical flash come out from the side of the stove between the ceramic top and the oven. It left a large burn mark on the side of the wood cabinets - this could have potentially set the cabinets on fire. An LG technician came out after a week to look at the problem. He found a pinched electrical wire from the manufacturing process, and was able to repair it. The knobs on the front of the stove are also too sensitive and will turn on with just a bump/brushing up against them - huge fire hazard.

We also don't use the oven that much and therefore only use the self clean function 1-2 times annually. This year after using the self clean function, the interior of the oven expanded in the middle so that the "gliding" oven rack no longer fits. The oven walls expanded so much in the centre that the rack falls straight through to the oven bottom, and the top and bottom of the oven is too tight for the rack to fit. The regular racks still fit, but move around a lot. We are now too afraid to use the self clean function as to what could happen the next time, and can no longer use the "glide" rack. Customer service insisted that their "technician" had to view the problem despite me sending them a video of the issue. We were leaving on vacation, and I told customer service that the appointment had to be after our return. We were told that they couldn't make an appointment two weeks in advance, and that they would call back upon our return - they didn't!

On our return we had our own technician out for a different appliance and had him look at the stove. He said that there was absolutely nothing LG could do to fix the issue. We didn't bother contacting them again as the stove was out of warranty, and pretty sure they couldn't do anything to fix the issue, nor would be willing to make things right. Totally frustrated with LG and would never recommend LG to anyone.

Purchased an electric LG stove with extended warranty plan a couple years ago. Consistent temperature a problem. Service tech came out and was told my problem was normal for LG. Normal is when oven set for 350 operates at 310 to 320 and oven set for 360 operates at 380 to 400. Other temp settings are also just as inconsistent. EasyClean oven cleaning feature doesn't work as oven goes to 140 only which doesn't create a steam or clean anything. Smart Diagnosis isn't even used by LG tech so not sure what its purpose is. For someone who is a baker an LG is a huge frustration that leads to poor baking results. Since LG says this is normal for their product I would suggest purchase from company whose normal is at a higher standard.

Bought an LG range model #LTEL7337F a few weeks ago and wanted to warn anyone thinking about purchasing this to think twice. The machine is dangerous. You can easily bump the knobs and inadvertently turn on the burners. I've had other happen numerous time and twice had fires as a result. I tried to return it but Lowe's ridiculously short windows of opportunity made that impossible. An LG tech replaced the knobs but that did no good. Now I have to keep child safety lock feature on at all times.

The knobs are very difficult to read despite the lighting feature and there are so many options crammed on to a couple of the knobs that you aren't sure what you've set it at. The oven knob does not have an off settings. It is always on BAKE so you have to turn the knob to broil on the left or to the setting on the right and then back to bake to turn the oven on to bake. I've been told that LG won't authorize a return unless parts can't be found to repair the device and since it's technically not broken I'm stuck with something that is a serious safety hazard. The only thing good about this is the lovely blue color inside the oven. I wonder what color it will turn when it burns along with my house.

I purchased this LG electric range in May of this year with the Lowe's Protection Plan. From the beginning of purchase, we were getting minor glitches with the knobs turning the oven on. Then from there escalated to turning the stove top burners on. I would try to use the stovetop and turn the left knob on, and the right burner front one would turn full blast... definitely a fire hazard! I have some videos to prove. We have reached out to LG several times because it is still under manufacturer warranty, and they yet have not responded. We did get of hold of LG customer service which is a contract affiliation overseas but they were not able to resolve our dilemma which is replacing a defective stove.

We also went to the original store where we purchased our stove and they gave us the Lowe's protection plan number which we called. Again, they weren't able to help us due to fact that it is still under a manufacturer's warranty. This defective stove is a safety hazard, do not buy! We have been in contact with Consumer Products Safety Commission because we feel the stove is unsafe and could have the possibility of doing great harm to people. We will go back again next week to try to speak to Lowe's Home Improvement store manager, hoping to get reimbursed and or resolve the issue. (We will try and recycle it but seriously 4 years) We bought our LG in 2018 but it remained in it it box until 2020 as we were renovating and our renovation took longer than we thought. 2022 we had to pay the LG $299 to repair the display screen and element. Now 2024 we have been locked out of our oven because it has a carbon monoxide leak. A CARBON MONOXIDE leak! 300 ppm. They told me I can pay the $299 and arrange for one of the two repair guys of their choosing to fix. Neither of them have a gas ticket and were able to do it on their own.

When I explained this to LG they told me I had to arrange for the repair and the gas supplier to show up at the same time to fix this. I don't know about anyone else but I work a full time job and cannot just take a day in HOPES that these two people are going to show up at the same time. In my opinion this Carbon Monoxide leak is serious and these ovens should be recalled. After doing research on it to see if this has been an issue, sure enough, it is an issue. If you own an LG I would have this checked.

I did four times and I still got white powder. LG tells me it's cosmetic and they will not address the issue. Cosmetic is on the outside, not on the inside. Customer service is terrible. They hang up on you. I would tell everyone stay away from LG, go with GE. I HAD GE FOR 23 YEARS NEVER HAD A PROBLEM AND I WOULD OF BOUGHT GE AGAIN BUT LG ONLY ONE WITH BLACK STAINLESS. WHAT A BIGGGGG MISTAKE

After 2 years of buying LG Q, WiFi range, the display is bad. It doesn’t show time anymore, it shows an E or a 3, at first it was that the stove needed it be turn off pull the plug from the wall. This was to reset, it doesn’t reset anymore. I’m not buying any more LG if this is how bad their appliances, I’m not buying that name brand again.
