    We purchased a Jenn-Air refrigerator at the suggestion of a designer when we were renovating our kitchen. A little over 4 years into owning it the compressor failed. It took two months for Jenn-Air to ship a new compressor to Dan Marc Appliance to repair it as it was under warranty. Less than two months later, the refrigerator has failed again and we were told it is unrepairable. We are now waiting for Jenn-Air to advise the dollar amount they will provide to replace it - which they are not doing in a timely fashion. I would highly advise staying away from this brand and trying a different one if you're in the market for a new refrigerator. We paid almost $3k for this one and it has not been a good investment.

    Bought a fridge in 2020 for over $3,000. Never worked from day one, cheap drawers, never sealed, many imperfections in the finish, constantly frost in the freezer. They made multiple repair attempts. The same issues persist today. They now won’t fix these issues under warranty even though they promised to fix them before and never did. Their service is awful, slow, and always a different person responding to emails. Also, no place to leave a real review for them on their sites. Not surprising, and honestly embarrassing. Lost our business, already have bought two more rounds of appliances from other companies at much lower prices and much higher quality.

    We moved in our new construction homes with built in Jenn-Air refrigerator, only a few months we experienced many issues with this refrigerator already. We are three weeks out of refrigerator. Refrigerator is not working it’s not cooling. And Jenn-Air compensate us with the $250 gift card and suggested that we use it to rent a refrigerator. A manager I spoke with said she is proud of Jenn-Air product. What a joke!

    In 2019, we made a substantial investment in our kitchen appliances, which included a Jenn-Air refrigerator, all purchased from Top line appliance store in the Westfield, NJ. To safeguard this investment, we opted for an extended warranty through Danmak Appliances. To my dismay, within the first year of purchase, our refrigerator's ice-making machine ceased functioning. Subsequently, we have had several technicians visit our home in an attempt to rectify the issue. Regrettably, none have been successful in resolving the problem. The most recent technician not only failed to fix the issue but also mishandled our refrigerator, resulting in a noticeable dent on the door.

    This ordeal has stretched over a year, during which our ice-making machine remains non-functional. Each time I contact Jenn Air service department, I am met with a dismissive response, asserting that the ice machine is not considered an emergency since the refrigerator continues to operate. Allow me to express my frustration at this statement. The ice-making function is an integral part of the appliance we purchased, and its malfunction significantly impacts our daily routines. This ongoing inconvenience is unacceptable, particularly considering the resources invested in both the initial purchase and the extended warranty

    If I could spend all day on the internet saving consumers from going through what we've gone through by purchasing a Jenn-Air I would. Do not buy any product by Whirlpool/Jenn-Air! We purchased a $14k fridge in 2020. It has needed repair 4x since then. We had to buy the extended warranty because we had no other options and the only company in South Florida to offer service is a 2 star company Flamingo who is absolutely horrible. After researching this product I'm ashamed of myself for not doing it sooner. Seems like everyone agrees.

    We purchased Jenn-Air JFFCC72EFP00 from Bestbuy with the 3 year protection plan and have had nothing but headaches with the ice maker (replaced 3 times) and cooling capacity stopping randomly that we reset. After four years, the unit (fridge and freezer) stopped cooling completely and would not restart after unplugging the unit. The repair person said the compressor was gone - given there have been known issues (google linear-wise motion compressor) the company offers a 10 year warranty. Except the success rate of replacement of these compressors is exceedingly low and the inventory for the part has created long delays.

    We've had two certified repair techs look at the fridge and both have said do not repair because the labor is not covered and the success rate is so low. We are beyond frustrated with the poor quality and warranty provided by Jenn-Air. We have filed with the BBB as a refrigerator of this price should not only last four years with this many issues. Calls to JennAir have provided fruitless. We will make sure our friends, family and social media contacts all know to avoid Whirlpool brands as they make a poor quality product they do not stand behind. I hope the BBB and Department of Consumer Reports takes this many complaints seriously. Whirlpool - you need to do much better in this market!

    I bought this one for my new home and hope it has good quality since price is high and good brand. But result is really bad. The lights of fridge and one in right side were off and can not be turned on. From Whirlpool final result is there are something wrong in fridge and can not be fixed. Really disappointed.

    I bought a 42 inch built in refrigerator in early January 2023 for $12000.00. It was delivered and within 3 days it was apparent that it was not cooling properly. I called Bouche Appliances where I bought it and they sent out Flamingo Repair services a week later. The technician told me that the compressor was faulty and also the water dispenser needed to be replaced. I immediately called Bouche again. They told me they would replace the unit. That afternoon they called me to tell me Jennair would be contacting me.

    Jennair contacted me and told me it would take 6 weeks to get a new one. I told them that it was ok as long as they fixed the broken one and I'd wait for the new one. I was told that if they fix it they won't replace it. I told them that's unreasonable and I was not willing to wait 6 weeks with a broken refrigerator especially when the technician told me it could stop working any day. Jennair told me the decision was mine. They would fix it or replace it in 12 weeks.

    After many phone calls to Jennair and Bouche Appliances I decided to go to Bouche and have a face to face conversation. Magically while I was there they told me that two refrigerators were in their warehouse. A week later they removed the broken jennair and installed new model. Everything was working for a month or so until one night I got ice cream out of the freezer and it was like soup. I also noticed that the ice maker was not producing ice at the same rate. I monitored the refrigerator for a few days and the freezer compartment would keep ice cream frozen one day and soft the next day and the ice maker continued to make minimal ice.

    I called Jennair and was told the technician had to come out and inspect. IT TOOK ALMOST TWO WEEKS UNTIL THE TECH CAME. He came and was told before he came that after he inspected the unit he was to call the Whirlpool tech line. The tech was on the phone for about 15 minutes. They determined the motherboard needed to be replaced. I was so frustrated I wrote a letter to the CEO of Jennair. A week later I received a call from a person who said she was with the Jennair executive offices. She told me I would have to wait for the scheduled repair which was another 2 weeks. The tech arrived and installed new board. I waited 3 days and the freezer did not work any better and the ice machine quit making ice. I've had several calls since then including another tech visit. Upon his inspection he said he needed to order 2 more parts which was two weeks ago as of this writing and parts apparently have not been received.

    I've spoken to Nicole ** CONTINUALLY from the executive offices and asked her for a new refrigerator. I asked her who has the decision making ability to get me a new refrigerator. I was informed by her that it was her decision and she wasn't going to authorize a new unit. So I'm still waiting on parts and once they're received it will be another week to two until I can get on the schedule with no guarantee this will fix the problem.

    This is not only frustrating to me and an injustice, as I go to store every other day to get ice for my household and finally bought a chest freezer for $700. This is not reasonable that a consumer who spent $12000.00 and after almost 4 months I still don't have a working refrigerator and it's my interpretation from my conversations with Ms. ** at Jennair that this is just the way it's going to be until they figure out how to fix this refrigerator. I have never been treated so poorly as a consumer in my life. Jennair should do the right thing and replace the unit.

    My refrigerator that I paid $10,000 for requires a tech to replace the light in the freezer at a ridiculous cost. For $10,000 cost, you would think Jenn-Air will make the light last longer than you see in other cheaper brands. I never have to call so much for service on GE kitchen equipment in my previous home. Jenn-Air is made by Whirlpool and is simply, in my experience, a Whirlpool with a fancy name. Don't be fooled by any possibly sponsored reviews.

    Though from a distance it looks nice, but in reality, it's cheaply made and not worth the price. Our Jennair fridge 1200 broke after 3 years. Still under warranty, however, customer service is near to non-existent. Their techs have been here 5 times for 2 - 4 hours at a time. Ended up freezing the entire fridge and breaking water lines that caused a bad leak (which was not the original problem). Damage to the walls and floor. Customer service has not responded with any updates on when or what is happening. Oh and they give you an 8 hour time window when scheduling service. How many days can you arrange time between 8am and 4pm to wait for a technician to come by?

    We bought this fridge at the advice of a salesman, over another brand. He sold us on the dramatic lighting against a black interior. The LED lights first went out after 10 months and they replaced the unit. 14 months later the lights went out in the new unit and they replaced the lights; but we had to pay for the service. The lights are now going out again and they won’t return my emails or calls. Avoid this unit, for the money there are much better options.

    My home flooded while living in SETX. This unit sit in a box in my kitchen for approximately one year while remodeling my home. I’ve had the unit approximately 6 years. 5 ish years of use. When I purchased unit I was told JENN-AIR is the best there is, blah, blah, blah! Lighting module went out approximately a year after we plugged it in. Now it’s not cooling like it should be. Had a tech come out and was told this unit in particular is a lemon and known for having CPU issues. Instead of dumping money down the drain I’ll be purchasing a brand new non-JENN-AIR Refrigerator. I will never purchase a JENN-AIR product ever again. I highly recommended you don’t either.

    We are very disappointed with the appliances purchased from PC Richard's about 8 months ago. Refrigerator is not working last 40 days. Techs didn't be able the fix the problem 3 times and they are coming with different part that they think is the problem... Kitchen hood led light keeps falling down. Last 40 days without a refrigerator and lost 3 days of work waiting repair technician and 1 more coming

    When we built our retirement home (2017) on the family farm, we purchased all Jenn-air appliances. After about 4 years the thermostat on the refrigerator went out and the ice maker stopped working. Then when the Jenn-air service guy replaced the China made parts they used and plugged in the refrigerator, the compressor went out. To make a long story short; in the last 10 months the thermostat has been replaced 4 times!!! And now it has gone out again. The reason we purchased a high end pricey appliance (as recommended to us by our architect), was to not go through all this breakdown and replacement nightmare we have been going through these last 10 months. So, we went to Lowes and bought a cheap frig, like we did over 15 years ago for our cabin. That cheap frig is still working and no repair hassles!

    We purchased a full set of kitchen appliances Wall oven, microwave, warming oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Well all I can say is that everyone has now needed repairs. They included 2 wall oven mother boards, a hose replacement on the dishwasher a control for the warming oven and finally a control panel for the fridge. Well here the fun starts, aside from paying for repair visits and parts the last "REPAIR" included the service call but the part is no longer available so I paid for a service but no repair. Now here is the real kicker. The solution was not diagnosed correctly and was able to fix the Fridge myself. All appeals for consideration or refund for the service call were firmly denied. However I was offered a 15% discount if I bought another Whirlpool product. Well I do not think that is going to happen. Thanks Whirlpool for everything.

    Purchased in 2018. Interior is a beautiful obsidian design with LED lights. LED freezer light went out in March 2021 which caused top refrigerator lights to go out as well. April 2021 replaced freezer light which corrected the issue. August 2021 freezer light went out again, once again, top refrigerator lights went out as well. Jenn-Air reports LED lights on back order! In the interim, 4 other interior refrigerator lights went out. September 9, 2021 bottom light was replaced however problem still not resolved. As of this date September 21, 2021, 6 refrigerator lights and 1 freezer light are still not working. Jenn-Air repair service is terrible, no communication with customer.

    I have to say when we had this refrigerator installed by the company that we bought it from, it has been a real pain. It was big money and we expected a serious experience but it has been nothing like that. The refrigerator was not designed well and the lines revealing the unit are un-even. The installation MUST be awful because they cannot get it right even after quite a few different installers. The specialty cover that covers the compressor does not fit well on the top and it continually loses its position and falls off and if not it crooked in the hole (Poor design).

    Even worse, the door does not close easy. It continually stays partially open requiring you to return to the refrigerator over and over. I have had installers return to my house 3 times now and I am not expecting it to be resolved. A big money refrigerator should be a dream and this is not. The amount we paid does not even cover the cabinet finish. I will not buy Jenn-Air again.

    My wife and I recently had our "New" 48" refrigerator delivered and installed in our kitchen remodel. Aside from not having a kick plate, "It was left at the showroom", after running it for 18 hours we opened the door. As the humidity hit the glass we started seeing shapes that look like the unit was not new but a showroom model that had staging items placed in the unit for display. When I inquired about it to the store where it was purchased, I was assured that it was new in the box and only opened to load it in the truck for delivery. I was told that the rep, unk name, advised that the shapes were made from glass cutting equipment. I have purchased several refrigerators in my lifetime, I have never seen things like this or have been told such a ridiculous story. If the store is telling me the truth, and the unit was opened prior to delivering it to my location, I'm afraid this was a return or refurbished unit that was sold from the factory as new.

    We have been extremely frustrated with our brand new Jenn Air refrigerator model JFC2089BEM that came with our new apartment without our choice. We noticed several two big cracks in the floor lining of the freezer unit, which should have been there since beginning. Initially only a repair with sealant was offered, but after several long customer support phone calls, in which we provided proof that it was reported within 30 days of our move-in, Jenn Air agreed to replace it. However, the second new unit has terrible issues with humidity and condensation in the main compartment and severe constant ice buildup in the freezer floor.

    The service person found that the freezer door rubber gasket is crooked and does not seal, and ordered for a replacement door, but the door takes 6-8 weeks to arrive at minimum. Meanwhile, the fridge condition remains to be unlivable with: we have to constantly deal with frozen and spoiled vegetables and food in the main compartment, while clearing out ice buildup in the freezer compartment almost every day. What’s worse, the fridge seems to develop further problems with the leak: the compressor starts to make weird loud sounds, sometimes cracking sounds which wakes us up during our sleep.

    We are so afraid that even if the defective door is replaced after 8 weeks, the fridge is already damaged to the state that it will continue to have other problems. And this will easily put us in an endless fix loop. We called Jenn Air for any possibility of quicker actions since the fridge is not functioning properly and we suffer from living with it for more months. This time Jenn Air won’t offer a replacement although we again reported within 30 days since they claim it’s repairable, whereas practically this problem is far worse than the cracks. The whole experience is a sheer waste of time and effort, adding to the list of problems we have moving to a new place. The quality of the fridge is evidently questionable based on our two units.

    We don’t even understand how such a crooked fridge door could pass the quality control tests. On top of it, their service is not considering the troubles of the customers. We feel they could try some temporary measures to stop further damage to the fridge: e.g., put the proper door of an old fridge or some rubber fix. We are reasonable customers who understand the difficulty of the industry, but putting us in such a living condition with a repairable claim is really unbearable to us. We will certainly never buy or recommend Jenn Air refrigerators. I have never seen such issues with manufacturing and build quality with any of our previous four refrigerators from other mainstream brands like Samsung or GE, which cost mostly half of Jenn Air’s price.

    I ordered a complete set from Jenn-air - Fridge, 6 burner stovetop, in-wall oven/micro, dishwasher and compactor. I had an issue with my fridge, back in November. Called the extended warranty line and it took 2 weeks to book a rep. When he came, he found he had to order parts. It has now been 12 weeks and still, these parts are not in. So my fridge has not worked for 14 weeks, and still they have not updated me on when these will be fixed.

    Also, my built-in had a failure on the HMI, as well as the main board, which have both been replaced, but now the same issue persists (turns on in the middle of the night, turns off while cooking). They still haven't fixed it. I have never been so frustrated or angry at a company ever. They just keep pushing me off, and here I am with a young child and no fridge.

    Thought we were purchasing a higher end refrigerator when we selected all JennAir appliances. 2 years into owning, ice maker needed to be replaced then ongoing issues. We are now into year 5 and so far we have had to have the following replaced: water dispenser, now on 2nd ice maker, rails on both the ice drawer and the freezer drawer, damper, dispenser valve, filter head. Now two months after having the rails replaced the refrigerator part is freezing all our food. Vegetables, eggs, anything that can freeze is freezing. Customer service has basically said, "Too bad." I would NEVER purchase a Jenn Air product again.

    I brought my Jenn-Air 2017 for $9840.49 and within that same year the light inside the fridge was not working. Since then I have called for services every one because there is always issue with the lights. This month I was told the light are deem not repairable. I had bought extended warranty on it and now they want to buy me out for $5800.00. My only issue is that I don't need any buyout, I just want my refrigerator to be replace. Bad product.

    Brand new Jenn-Air refrigerator model number JFFCC72EHL02 delivered 1 week ago has not worked at all. Right out of the box -- not working. Had to wait several days for service to come out to reset the unit and take it out of "showroom" mode. That didn't work. Now waiting another week to have service out again to have the control board replaced. Did I mention this is a brand new right out of the box refrigerator? Why should a brand new unit need to have major parts replaced? This model is expensive -- for $4700.00 I was expecting a lot more. Very disappointed so far.

    I wrote a review last week expressing my dissatisfaction with my nearly near Jennair refrigerator. Since then Jennair has really stepped up to the plate. Their customer service staff were very helpful, they spoke with my service provider and have made arrangements to exchange my refrigerator with the latest, most up-to-date model. It will take about 6 weeks to get the unit, which I understand as many places are back-ordered. I do have old units in the garage which will tide me over, and the refrigerator portion of my current Jennair is working at an adequate level.

    My Jenn-Air refrigerator Model #JFFCC72EFP is a beautiful unit, and relatively expensive (in the $4500 range). After 15 months of operation the freezer stopped working and ice was unavailable. My service company has been heroic in their attempts to solve this problem. Jenn-Air's response was "as long as it is repairable, it must be repaired". I have not had a functioning freezer for close to 2 months now. After reading reviews, which I should have done prior to purchasing the unit, it appears this is a known problem. Customers have indicated repairs made are not long lasting. I do not care to come home from a weekend trip to find my freezer isn't working again. I have no confidence in this unit, in spite of any heroic measures my service company may undertake.

    The upper refrigerator section freezes items because of the design where freezer air is used to cool the section. Essentially, half of the space is unusable. The dealer, the service department and customer service people know this and provide no solution or advise - “it is what it is”. I would not recommend the model (JF C2290REM00) to anyone, in fact I am not sure I would recommend any Jenn-Air product based on the service and customer help provided - none.

    Refrigerator Glass shelves are too short resulting in items falling off the back of shelves. Door seals have been replaced twice in two years. Oven doesn’t brown during roasting or baking. Takes much longer than directions to cook. Last call to Jenn-Air was not at all satisfactory. Meets specs....not important that it doesn’t work correctly. Very expensive product, but not value for money. My advice...buy another brand.

    I bought a Jenn-Air three-door refrigerator with water/ice dispenser in the door in August 2017 when I did a major remodel. In less than a year, it stopped cooling. It took three different service calls to "fix" it - it had to finally be totally disassembled in order to replace several faulty parts. I lost hundreds of dollars of food. The repair guy was familiar with the problem because it had occurred so frequently! Now, 1 1/2 years later, I am having the same problem with it not cooling. I foolishly thought that Jenn-Air was an upgrade from KitchenAid, and paid dearly for this piece of crap. I would gladly have it hauled away if it hadn't cost so much to begin with. I will never ever buy Jenn-Air again, and I strongly recommend that you not waste your money on this flawed product..

    We bought our samsung French door refrigerator May 2015. I love the looks and the size, however it stopped working mid August 2019, little over 4 yrs. We’ve been told it needs to be replaced. We have been led to believe that it’s the ice maker. However we were told that if we kept it we would have to keep spending money on it. We turned off the water source. No more ice or water on the front. We will see how long it lasts before we have to replace it....however, we paid dearly for those features! Samsung needs to do something about their poor manufacturing. We have a daughter with the same problem, with a side by side.
