    I'm not sure yet what I think of the treatments. I've had 3 I think so far and I just had ants in my kitchen the other day. I didn't call anyone from the company. I'm going to wait a few more days and see what happens because I just had my third treatment.

    I was tricked into signing a contract by their door-to-door salesman. There was no mention of the contract or $250 cancellation fee when signing up. I have NEVER been provided a copy of said contract. When Fox Pest Control was unable to remedy our spider infestation I asked to cancel service. I was told that I would have to talk to a manager, but he was not available. I removed my card from my customer portal, and refused further treatment, but they keep racking up the charges. Now they are threatening to send me to collections. All because THEY DID NOT DO THEIR JOB!

    I never hear from them. They do not do routine inspections but raise rates. I plan to cancel today. I wonder if they plan to charge me cancellation fees. They are very pushy with calls about additional services. I have them for termite protection. I just don't trust them.

    They Lie. They tell you what you want to hear and promise you they will perform services and never do. They send a kid out that does nothing. Did not even remove the trap with the dead mouse on the premise. Two additional no shows. Called and requested a supervisor and did not receive a call back. Had to call again and they claim what the guy original sales person said was incorrect and refused to refund for services not competed.

    This company is a scam. I was lied to by the salesman, he told me I would be receiving 2 treatments. I actually signed up for a year-long contract with a $250 cancellation fee. On top of that, they didn’t even get rid of the bugs!! Avoid at all costs!!

    What is the legal answer to stopping this company scamming you? There must be people out there who have successful stopped this Company and cancelled their phony contracts. Have they ever been taken to Court and stopped from doing this. All these reviews are saying is that the Company can do what it likes to you and seemingly get away with it.     Strange conduct of scheduling. Force customer to check schedule constantly and company gives technicians locations day of. Were notified 30 minutes or so prior to their arrival, which having pets and kids this is an issue sometimes since they need to stay inside for a period of time. Technicians like Casey and Austin have all been wonderful each time they come for a service.

    I HIGHLY recommend NOT using Fox Pest Control. I paid them for a 3 month service and they came out once. After another 3 months went by without seeing anyone, I called and cancelled the "service". I received another bill today. When I talked to the young lady on the phone, she was very apologetic but said I still owed it even tho they never showed up. Shame on Ya'll. Horrible way to run a company. Money for nothing. I'm a Disabled Veteran on a fixed income and expect to get what I pay for.

    I received ok service when I asked Fox to come out and address kitchen mice. The following day, a representative came out to look for mice in attic and basement. The individual told us we had big infestation in attic and basement. He indicated he had pictures. He told my wife we would be required to remove all insulation in the attic and basement and then they would treat the attic and would install new insulation of the highest grade. The total cost would be $22,000. I had other local exterminator come out and he said no need to remove insulation and that there was would be under $400.

    I am now requesting a refund based on their attempt to change a family living on fixed Social Security retirement. I have asked for manager to call for three days and no response. I am likely to report this incident to the PA Attorney General's office and their consumer fraud division. I am also leaning towards reporting this to our local NBS station Consumer Fraud Reporter. I am still waiting on day 4 as I write this, and again no call.

Based on our Home Inspector's findings, he recommended a low-level exclusion service priced at $5,420 and a FoxGuard service for $6,450.     We started using Fox Pest Control September 2025. We actually switched at the time from a pest control competitor. Fox provided good service and support. The results are better in comparison, we have far less outside bugs than before. We also see many Red Lantern Flies near our home, which we did not previously. For what we are looking for, Fox Pest Control has exceeded our expectations.

    I called to get help with a rodent issue. The first person I spoke with was very nice and put me directly through to another company who then put me through to yet a 3rd company. When I called back a second time to ask another question, the person who answered was incredibly rude and abruptly ended the call. Not a good customer facing company!

    Fox Pest are scammers. They lied to get my elderly mother into a contract. Then, they showed up only once to spray for bugs despite billing her for an initial fee plus three months (over $300). Even the single treatment they provided did nothing, and I question if they did much more than spray water or some cheap/ineffective chemical. I am just now learning about the depth of their dishonesty. Now, they want a $250 'cancellation fee' for her to be rid of them. They tried to withdraw this from my mom's card without permission. Thankfully, I was able to get her to cancel her bank card before they could do more damage. They truly are despicable and dishonest with almost 400 BBB complaints in just the last three years! Look it up for yourself. Avoid Fox Pest at all costs! You have been warned.

    Over a year as a customer, and they cannot have a solution for the problem. When I called, every time is a different "technician", which has no idea of what they are looking for. I have mice, here and there, in the basement and instead of looking for the root caused of it, they put traps, traps only... Not to tell, when we have trapped one, they simply tell me to wear gloves and pick it up myself. For the type of BS service, better and cheaper Amazon!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!!!

    Great experience from initial treatment visit from Sam ** and Myquill. I called main line with concern about the products and my pet, and they told me a tech would call me later that week to discuss. Sam called me as promised and walked me through which products were safe for pets, and which were less safe. He also educated me on how to manage around the products that were less safe if needed, and when it was fine to avoid those products.

    Sam and Myquill were very attentive at spraying at all problem areas. They also explained very clearly what they were doing and what to expect over time. Sam took the time to warn me about potential termites in my trees, and scheduled me for a termite inspection at no extra cost. He also pointed out potential problem areas where there was extra moisture from my central AC condenser unit outside. They were very flexible with scheduling. Their online login makes communication and plan management very easy.

    Original rep from door knocking who signed me up was very informative, and explained how everything would work. He was quite aggressive to sign me up, but provided for a very flexible cancellation policy if I changed my mind. I checked with the main line if the cancellation policy that he told me was accurate and it was. One small complaint is that my home was supposed to schedule me for 3 weeks out since I was not available within that time frame. This was not done, and I was scheduled for only a few days out. I had to follow up with a phone call to the main line to get this scheduling worked out.

    When working with Fox, just make sure all your confirmations in your email and text come through. If you notice something amiss, then call the main line. Also pay attention closely while the technician works to make sure that he explains what he is doing and you are getting the full service you expect. My personal experience regarding this was excellent, but everyone is going to get a different technician.

    Fox treated the yellow jacket nest inside the door frame siding/wall outside of my house. Paid them a hefty price for a single treatment ($270). Fox went ahead and did the service without discussing with me and they did not ask for my approval. They treated the nest by simply puffing d-fense dust into the siding. They limit the treatment to only two visits, that's it and if the bees come back, it's either you pay again or join their yearly service, or you're on your own. They wouldn't get rid of the bees inside the house that came from the nest outside. And they wouldn't seal the bees' entrance(s). They don't always respond to your concerns. Currently I have been monitoring the bees' activities, and I have sealed off the bees' entrances myself. I've armed myself with puffer and dust should they come back. I would give 5 stars if the company is above and beyond. This company isn't.

    I hired Fox Pest Control to get rid of a bedbug infestation in my house. They did the initial treatment with a follow-up appointment scheduled for two weeks later. Two days after the initial treatment, I still was being bitten in my bedroom. The other bedrooms are clear. In spite of repeated calls, they refused to come out any earlier than the follow-up date to re-treat my bedroom. All calls are routed through their headquarters in Utah, and I have not been able to speak to a supervisor. Also, they charged me for 10 mattress covers and only used 3. All this for $2600!

    I purchased the Fox Termite protection. Installation of bait traps was July 7th. I paid by check that day and gave the check to the technician. Despite this "hand delivery" of payment, Fox continues to harass me about non-payment. I get texts, emails and now a bill in the mail just because they failed to deposit the check into their account. Terrible business model in that they take weeks to deposit a check and in the meantime, harass you about non-payment even though it is their fault! I regret using Fox.

    At contract end, I cancelled. They are demanding another months payment. I paid MONTHLY, they serviced quarterly. They claim my last payment in May, did not include the payment required after the contract expired early June, and will send me to collections. I paid $1700 in 2 years, they would discount over $200 if I continued, but not waive $70 for this erroneous bill.

    When I called this company, they sent me to a call center. At the call center the man was pushy and made me think that I needed to have the service for 24 months to get rid of the ants. It was costing me $165 for the first visit, $49 every month for the next 24 months. And if I want to cancel it cost me $250. After three months and three separate applications. I continued to have ants in every single room of my house, including in my shower! You couldn’t sit in my home and not have them crawling on you.

    I called this company and said I wanted to cancel, they said well, let’s get a supervisor out there, and because of their inability to make any difference in the ants, I refused. They charged me $250. In the long run that saved me some money, however, I spent over $500. I went to Home Depot bought any repellent sprayed once I haven’t seen an ant since. Wish I would’ve done this in the first place. I do not recommend this company. They are pushy and their customer service is not good. The only good thing I could say was my technician was very nice and he tried his best. My opinion is they don’t give them strong enough chemicals to solve the problem. In my mind this is so they can continue to charge you money because your problem won’t be solved.. Don’t even call this company.

    Highly recommend using a different company. Although the technicians are all very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I have not seen a difference in pest control since starting with them. Since I decided not to renew my contract, I haven’t seen anyone from Fox Pest at our residence even though the terms of my contract continue until September. I’m paying for a service I’m no longer receiving.

    Caution to Buyers - The Fox Pest Control company is scam. If it were possible to rate this company with zero stars, I would do so. I typically refrain from writing reviews, particularly negative ones, but this service has been exceptionally poor. The salesman provided misleading information, and the areas of concern were not addressed. They applied granules instead of spraying around the house's perimeter, which did not impact the flea problem. My dissatisfaction with the effectiveness of the pest control services has only increased after the treatment. Fox pest control warranty money back guarantee is a LIE!

    A few guys came to my door last week after my husband showed interest in getting wasps off our porch. Not only did the young man take care of the nests and a few other issues we had, he schooled me in what we can do to avoid wasps and a few other insects that have become a problem. I didn’t get the young man’s name, but I was so impressed by the service and his knowledge. We did not want the chipmunks harmed! Thank you Fox. A very good experience.

    Salesman came to the door claiming 5 of my neighbors had signed up and had received great service. Then as he was tell me their names, I realized he was full of it, those people moved years ago or had died. Then he starts to tell me how sandy my soil is, will our soil has so much clay, water does not drain, so that was a lie. So after he left I talked to my neighbors, no one signed as they all saw thru his lies. Beware on them.

    Someone came to our home in Vermont claiming Fox was already working in the neighborhood and offered us a limited-time deal with a steep discount, but only valid if we signed up immediately. We were told the price would increase if we called later. He mentioned a nearby address to make it sound like others had already signed up. We spoke to that neighbor. They hadn’t. Artificial urgency, punitive pricing, and unsolicited to top it off. There are plenty of other pest companies that manage to earn business without coercion, false claims, or deadlines.

    If possible I would give 0 stars since they came out twice and my bug problem only got worse. I’ve had better luck handling it myself. They sprayed both the interior and exterior as well as spreading granules in the yard and dusting for spiders. Not only did my bug problem not get resolved but I started getting other bugs like sugar ants. It’s sad that their services couldn’t even handle those.

    Salesman came to my door and told what a great deal he could do for me. He mentioned my neighbors by name and said they were happy with the service. I should have researched it beforehand but, did not. I knew the price was nothing special but, I did sign up. He wanted me to sign up for two to five years and I refused. Talked to the neighbors after and all of them had just signed up because the salesman lied. I am going to contact the company to cancel before the first service. If not, I will contact my lawyer and see how many of my neighbors want to join in because the service was sold under false pretenses.

    Fox Pest Control serviced our house for a little over 2 years, a guy knocked on my door and I signed his tablet as he told me it would cost $50.00 a month and they would come out 4 times a year and more if needed. He also told me that they service 2 of the neighbors across the street and I found out later that was not true. He never told me this would be a 2-year contract and if we cancelled prior to the 2 years that there would be a $250 cancellation fee. I actually found this out after I tried cancelling within the first 6 months. So, I kept Fox for the 2 years as I did not want to pay the $250 fee for breaking the contract, it would not be worth it to have to pay that fee in order to cancel so I figured this would be a lesson learned to never sign anything when a salesman knocks on your door as they are full of lies.

    After the 2 years was completed, I cancelled them without penalty. Anyway, they are not worth the $50 a month as we would still get earwigs, bees and other bugs around the patio of the house and around the front porch, garden area. They certainly did not help with mosquitos either, that is a whole separate contract that is also very expensive with them. We did not get bugs inside the house, no problems with ants at all. But for the record we have never had a problem with ants inside the home even before Fox Pest Control services came. They are not worth it, if they come knocking on your door, tell them to go away. I am sure there are cheaper pest control companies out there that do not charge $250 for breaking a contract.

    My issues with Fox concern their questionable billing practices and the lack of transparent communication with customers. I called for help with what sounded like a squirrel infestation in my attic, which I explained thoroughly to the fellow on the phone. During the conversation, I mentioned that I did NOT want the contract to extend beyond one year, which he claimed to understand. The technician who came for the first appointment was quite nice, but he was the one to tell me that 1.) Fox does not deal with squirrels (my whole purpose for calling in the first place) and 2.) They cannot go into an attic that doesn't have a wood floor (which I had also explained to the fellow on the phone). I then saw the contract that they sent to my email, which stated that it was for two years! I called and complained and was given a discount, but if I canceled, I would be charged for early cancellation.

    The technicians were all personable and courteous, and although they did find mice, they were unable to help with my primary issue. However, when the year was up, I called and submitted an email to remind them that my contract needed to end in mid-October when the year was up. The person on the phone assured me that she'd put a note on my contract to that effect.

    When I saw that a bill was sent to my bank for the month of November, I called back to ask for a refund, as the contract had ended the month before. What I was told was just plain sleazy business practice: Despite my previous calls and emails, I was supposed to have called on the EXACT DAY I wanted the contract to end! There was absolutely NO explanation of this in any of their previous communications with me! I am paying for a full month of no service, which is as close to fraudulent practices as a business can get. Do NOT get involved with this company -- trying to get out of a contract is like trying to get out of a timeshare!

    We had a salesman come to our door to offer us a one-time service. My husband was asked to sign a receipt after paying but it was actually a contract. Now $50 payments are coming out monthly and the only thing we’re being told is "You should have read the small print." But they can offer 10 dollars off next month.

    I wished I read the reviews before signing up with Fox. Hopefully enough negative reviews will prompt them to do better. My issues were with field mice, spiders and ants. I still have field mice and spiders. I had an appointment with their technician scheduled between 12-4. I was to receive a call half an hour before they arrive. I never received a call and they never arrived. The next day I called, was put on hold and they never returned to the phone.

    Once I placed my initial call to Fox Pest Control and set up my account with Ryan, it only took a couple of days for a technician to come out to my home. Dylan was polite and professional, calming my fears. He dispatched the very sizable hornets' nest very quickly. Also Dylan let me know when he was done and gave an explanation as to what to expect.     Had trouble having them honor their own contract. After being duped by the aggressive salesman, saying I would get the same coverage as the previous company, which was not true, I was under a 2 year contract which I had to cancel in writing per its own wording. After 2 years, I wrote them saying I wanted to cancel. They said that writing them was insufficient to cancel and that I had to call. They continued to charge me. After finally getting them to cancel, they show up at my house to get me back, interrupting our evening family time. I was called "rude" when I told them to leave.

    Salesman talked me into one time "special" price of $165 for one-year. No other payments, can cancel at any time. Amount charged on credit card $187.25. Called and promised refund. Never happened. New charge on card 53.13. Now I find out there are monthly payments. Just now received a copy of contract I supposedly signed. Never saw any of this except one small paragraph I initialed. Customer Service does nothing. This whole deal is a scam.

    A Fox salesman came to our house and offered service. He said it was a special and gave a discount of $250. My initial payment was $100, which I paid by credit card. His information was very misleading as the service was to be 4 times a year. I didn’t realize that I had a payment of $55 for 12 months until they took it out the following month. I asked for a copy of the contract and he said it would be mailed and on my email. It wasn’t. When he came to service I asked for it again. Of course, the 3-day cancellation had just passed. He did not mention the cancellation fee of $250 but said I could cancel anytime. Had I received the copy, I would have canceled right away but I didn’t have the opportunity to look the contract over and use my 3-day cancellation option.

    I thought it was illegal to not offer a 3-day cancellation notice along with a contract. It was on there but I didn’t see it until it was too late when I finally got a copy of the contract. This has been a lesson learned. Never allow a salesman in your home unless you initiate the visit. When I did cancel, within 5 minutes they took the $250 fee out of my credit card! What a scam! I don’t think they intended for me to get the contract so that I could use my option to cancel in 3 days. They have 339 complaints with BBB in the last 3 years and 209 the last 12 months. Shame on them to take advantage of seniors.

    I had a door to door sales person come to my house and talked us into signing up with their company. He said in order to get the deal he was offering that day, we had to sign a contract that I can cancel within 90 days if I were not satisfied. Needless to say, I wasn't and called to cancel and I'm now being charged 250 dollar fee to get out of the contract. I find this disgusting and I will spread word to all my neighbors, friends and family to never sign anything with this company. Not only did they not fix my wasp problem, but they also fraudulently had me sign a contract. Shame on you.

    I have had Fox Pest for 7 years with 3 properties. I LOVE them. I have had their competitors as well and I just like the technicians better. I was very impressed with Jake yesterday 6/5/24. I had small ants all over my truck at a friend's house. I figured the ants didn’t come from mine because I have mine treated. I called Fox Pest anyway and Jake found ant mounds on the side of the driveway, not around the foundation. I never saw those!!! Thanks for taking pride in your job, Jake.❤️

    I have had a rodent infestation within my home. The techs came out and put glue traps all over and that didn't work. The manager came by and could not find the access point at which the rodents came in but said the poop looked like squirrels and they did not cover squirrels. I had Paul look outside at the roof and he said he could not climb a ladder to get on top of the roof. So, even though I am 60 years old and a woman I told him I would climb on top of the roof because we thought there was an access point on the roof. It ended up that I didn't do that cause we could not secure the ladder but while getting the ladder I wondered why I was paying this company if I was having to do all the work?

    They have been worthless in controlling the problem but I signed a contract with them for a year and I am stuck with their incompetence. Meanwhile I will have to hire another company to accomplish with what they are not able to do. Some things to note. #1 If they are not successful they will blame it on an animal that they don't cover. eg. squirrels. #2. For a company that should be ensuring the integrity of a roof they do not climb ladders which is ridiculous. #3. They will con you into a contract so you will be contracted to pay for their incompetence for a whole year. My advice is to hire someone else.

    The Harrisburg office provides their service techs with zero guidance and probably on purpose so that treatments will take longer. Be warned, you need to watch their techs at every visit to make sure they are treating what they are hired for. They kept changing techs on me and I was not getting the treatments for Carpenter bees that I needed. Plus at roughly $200 per quarterly visit for less than 30 minutes each .....what does that tell you. They have zero ethics and are just looking to make money, and not provide good customer service.

    Their salesman came to my door and offered service. Had some anthills outside he said they could take care of. Paid $60 upfront, said they'd send a guy to do an assessment. 18yo kid came out a couple days later, walked around the house and said there were quite a few ants, another guy would be out to treat in a week. Nobody ever showed up again. Called several times over the next few months but could never get through being on hold. Requested callback with the robot, nobody ever called back. Six months later they called wanted 6mo of payment. I told them nobody had been to my home and they said they had. I told them I had cameras and if they provided the date I would verify and pay them to which they then admitted that they had no date of service for my home. Phone rep said he would give this info to the supervisor to take care of.

    Couple months later they're calling again wanting a large sum. I explained again that no service was provided. This time they want an additional $118 to "bring the account current" and "resume service". No way I was giving these people any more money. We're 9 months in at this point and nobody has been out to do the work they want paid for. They admitted nobody had been here but refused to waive the charges for the work that was never completed and sent it to collections. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache.

    Buyer Beware - Fox Pest Control company is a scam. When the salesperson comes to your door, they offer a standard rate discounted down to a lower rate. For example, annual service is 400, but you get a 250 discount, so you only have to pay 150 plus tax. You sign up, and then you later find out your nice discounted rate is only part of what you're being billed. On top of that, they bill you monthly -- for example, 70/month. The total ends up being about $1000, which is 4-5 times higher than any other pest control services. And (this is the really fun part) to cancel them you must pay a $250 cancellation fee. Wow. What a scam. I'm contacting the BBB and the NY State Atty General. Do NOT sign up for this company's services.

    Back in August of this year, I was very ill and was home recovering from a serious heart condition when a rep from Fox Pest Control knocked on my door in an effort to sell me an annual service contract. I didn’t need their service but in my weakened state I succumbed to the high pressure face to face sales pitch and signed an agreement that would cost roughly $205 a quarter. I paid for the first treatment and forgot about it until I got a call this month to inform me the next treatment was due. Feeling much better and barely remembering this arrangement I thanked the rep and informed him I would not be needing the service only to be told that I’d have to pay a $250 early termination fee. I explained the situation about my illness at the time of the sale and was advised by the rep to call back the next day to speak to a supervisor who would have the authority to waive the fee. No such luck.

    I was told that the fee would be charged to my credit card and there would be no leniency. Shame on me for signing this unconscionable agreement. But please note that extracting $250 from a sick old man trumped any concept of customer goodwill or human decency on the part of Fox Pest Control. I implore you - if a rep from Fox trespasses onto your property to sell you a service agreement, turn off the lights and hide in your home until they’ve gone. They don’t deserve your patronage. Use Majestic Pest Control or any random firm you may stumble across in lieu of these miscreants. Buyer beware.

    Had an infestation of boxelders. They came out promptly and sprayed. It did not have an impact and never saw any dead boxelders. Made up solution and sprayed it. Tons of dead boxelders. Also removed and destroyed eggs. Called again. I showed him how the boxelders were swarming my fence. He said the company wouldn’t allow him to spray. The first time I was given a vole trap and promised inside service. I was never given inside service. When I showed a better spot to put the vole trap to the second person he said I’d have to pay extra and took the trap with him when I refused to pay more. I conquered the boxelder infestation several weeks later by going out every day and spending hours killing them. The service was ineffective. When I finally called to cancel the service they said I’d have to pay out the contract. As I write this I’m watching carpenter ants on my deck. They did nothing to help so don’t waste your time and don’t sign a long term contract.

    If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I normally do not leave reviews especially terrible ones but this service has been really awful. I am a brand new customer and have both the yard enjoyment plan and the pest control plan. The representative that signed me up was very sweet and after seeing the raving reviews I decided to give them a try. They were able to send a tech out the same day as I signed up as well so first impression was amazing. However, after the yard was sprayed, we still had a TON of mosquitos. I asked the representative to have someone come back and spray and no one contacted me for several days.

    I called in where I had to wait almost an hour to speak with someone and they scheduled someone to come out a week later because they didn't have any available techs. That week went by and no one showed for the appointment. I called again and they said "Sorry, but they won't be coming and not sure what happened" and they rescheduled for another week later. That week came and went and again NO ONE SHOWED UP. I called back where I had to wait on hold for another hour to speak with someone and they said "Sorry, someone can come out in another week." Totally unacceptable, so I asked for a supervisor and to no surprise there was no supervisor to talk to so they said they will have someone call.

    The supervisor called me almost a week later and left a VM saying "Sorry, we won't charge you for the next service so there will be a credit on the account. Call back the main number if you have any questions". She did not even bother rescheduling the service so I had to call back and wait on hold yet again to speak to a representative. When I finally got someone on the line, I asked to cancel altogether and the rep was extremely rude and said "Sorry, can't do that. You need to talk to a supervisor and I will have them call you but just so you know, they will not cancel the pest services."

    Days went by and still no call from the supervisor so I called back and a nice gentleman said "I see the issues on the account so no problem, I will cancel both services". The one representative to actually help instead of pushing me away to wait for a so called supervisor. I called back in to ask for a refund since I was already charged for the service and they said "Sorry, can't do that per contract". WELL, the contract also states that you guys will complete services as needed and that never happened so who cares about the contract at this point. The initial fee for the yard was $175 but one spray is $99. I was simply asking for the $75 back since the services were not completed at all. While we understand the $99 is still valid since they sprayed just once but we should not have to pay the rest of the start up fees since NO ONE DID THEIR JOB and completed the services.

    It has been about a month of back and forth trying to get someone to come to our home to do their JOB that we are PAYING FOR. This is so unfortunate because they make so many promises and make it seem like they have great customer service but the service is just awful. People do not have time to sit around for hours waiting for someone to answer the phone to resolve an issue and wait DAYS for a call back from a supervisor. Totally unacceptable. Will not refer Fox to anyone.

    I want to be clear - the technician -ELLIOT- was amazing. My issue is with the company! I called and was told someone would be out this week - there is a special for $199 and then $65 for the following 4 treatments to remove the yellow jackets! I WAS TOLD THIS ISSUE WOULD TAKE 4 applications to kill the yellow jackets. Elliot told me - actually just one application should be sufficient and that I SIGNED UP FOR TWO YEARS OF MONTHLY TREATMENT! Bait & switch? Up selling? Whatever - NOT OK! Buyer beware! Sales guy is a fast/double talker! Elliott also told me $300 for treatment today and that should be fine and FOX WILL COME OUT FOR THE NEXT 30 days if the issues persisted!

    This company is a SCAM! Don't use them. Their technicians are a sloppy joke. They Triple charge you and don't give you a valid contract to review in detail before signing. They don't show up for services or follow the treatment plans they are contracted to do. Never received a copy of the contract and tried calling every week for three months with no response or call back. Final got through and asked to cancel because of all of this and they declined to cancel or refund, hung up on me after I asked for a manager. They billed me $174 for a first treatment/quarter and were supposed to be $75/quarter after that. I was billed $174 the first month, $56 the second month $54 the third month. No treatments! Their first treatment didn't even get rid of ants, not to mention the spiders and ticks. The guy splashed his solution on my walls, wood floors, and carpets in random spots - no barrier spray, no traps, nothing! Waste of money and a total Scam!

    I have been a client for years. The techs are absolutely the best and my rating is not due to them. It’s the billing practices and office staff that has changed dramatically. I pay for once a quarter inspection and had the service done mid-quarter. I called and said my next inspection to wait until the end of the next quarter but was told I had to get it done within 90 days of the first quarter inspection. I said 3x I pay for an entire quarter why can’t I get the inspection done at the end of the quarter. The customer service agent seemed clueless on what a quarter is. I asked to speak with a manager and she said one would call me back. No calls. This is not the Fox Pests I signed up with. I called last week 3x and sat on hold 25 min each time and no one came to the phone.

    They treated our home on Monday for yellowjackets. The next day we were seeing a lot more of them, we called back and they reported this was normal as they died off. Wednesday, there were less. Thursday, none. I thought, great! Nope. Friday afternoon, I get home and there are even more yellowjackets to begin with swarming in my BEDROOM. To make it more exciting, they're now attacking me when I try to go into the room. So I can't get MY CLOTHES, laptop charger, use the bathroom in that part of the house, SLEEP IN MY BED. When my husband called, they said this was normal. That they'd send someone out IN A WEEK. Absolutely wouldn't use them again. Disgraceful.

    Update: As of Saturday, we spoke with Fox Pest Control on the phone and they informed us there was no way to send anyone to us because all their technicians were just 20 miles away. The employee that was at our home on Monday said it would take a few days to clear the hornets, on the phone with me they told me two weeks. Two weeks of hornets flying around inside my bedroom unmitigated? They're now also stinging us, so that's fun.

    A Fox representative came to my door soliciting pest control services in a non-solicited 55+ neighborhood. He stated that he was running a pest control special for half-off. I agree to have the home treated for the agreed upon price of $175.00 plus tax. He asked me to sign for the CC charge which was on a electronic device. The following day my home was treated by a Fox representative and my CC was charged the appropriate amount. One month later my CC was charged by Fox for $65. I called Fox and asked them why my CC was charged. They stated that I entered into a contract for Fox Pest Control Services. At no time during the illegal solicitation did the Fox representative mention entering into a contract. I now find out that when he asked me to sign for the CC receipt, my signature was applied to a contract. This is clearly an illegal act by a Fox Pest Control representative preying on the elderly.

    I called to cancel service and was told that emailing the request will take care of it, so I did. A couple of days later I get a call from the technician that he is on his way. When I called customer service to address this , I was told the cancellation is pending and that they need 30 days notice, but if I want to cancel early, there’s a cancellation fee ( fee is almost as high as the service fee). These things are usually communicated the first time you reach out to a business to cancel service. This was definitely not the case with Fox. I decided to discontinue their service because of the insidious increase in prices and also being tired by their constant attempts to persuade folks to buy additional services.

    Since I work, it is important that there is continuity to the service people sent to my home. Like many of you, I do not want strangers alone in my home. I was PROMISED that the same person, Alex, would be the only person coming. It has been 7 months, and Alex has been here zero times. In fact, there has not been a single repeat service person. In the three years that I have lived here, I have not had rodent droppings until I started using this pest company. I left work early to meet with a tech, he took pictures of the mess, placed sticky boards, and then... was not reassigned to my home. The only thing they do consistently is charge your card. They make you sign a contract for at least one year, I cannot wait to be done with this scam of a company!

    I have called many times attempting to resolve the problem, they “yes” me and do nothing differently. When I say resolve, I am not asking to be released from the contact, I ask for continuity of tech. I ask to speak with management and again I receive a “YES” they will have to call me back because they have no direct lines. I hear from them like you, the reader, hears from them. Having said this, I want to give a nod to the courtesy of the people I speak with. They are in an awful position, attempting to sustain work with a company that fails to keep their word.

    When I first came across their Ad and after reading what they had to offer, I figured I'd give them a call, especially when I read that they can come out the "same day". They were very nice as well as willing to help me with my mice issues as well as finding a rat in my house, you can only imagine the worries I had. Anyway, they weren't able to come out the same day as they noted on their AD, but they were able to come out just a few days later. With that, they also offered a great deal that I just couldn't pass up. And you know what the old saying is "If it's too good to be true" then it probably is! Anyhow, I ended up purchasing their services in February of 2023, and what I did was paid them in full as well as paying an extra month up front, so I was covered from February to May.

    Mind you after they came and provided services back in February, a month later they ended up just taking it upon themselves to make an "unauthorized" payment to their company. I received the alert immediately following thankfully and I contacted Fox Pest Control right away and explained what had happened, they apologized and credited my money right back of which took about 2-3 days to process. There is when I should had side eyed this company, but seeing that they resolved the transaction right away I left alone. They came out one other time in May after the February service, so remember, I paid them "ALL the WAY in FULL" from February to May!

    Ok, so after the May service, I started receiving emails, voicemails and text messages telling me that I have a bill that is past due! And I literally replied immediately back to them letting them know that there definitely is a mistake on their end because my next service date wouldn't be until August, so I would have plenty of time to have that payment made. They definitely weren't trying to accept that even with me having my entire service plan & contract still in my email from when I had first accepted their services. I wasn't about to argue with this company, especially knowing that I was right and that they just appeared to be a money hungry company! So after I replied that the next payment isn't due until August and that is when they will receive the next payment, I didn't hear anything else from them.

    Lo and behold, as I am literally writing up this review, literally about 35-40 mins ago, this Fox Pest Control company had yet AGAIN made an unauthorized transaction from my account into theirs. At this point I am livid!! As I should be! So... Again, I contact the company and explain what has happened, the guy gives me some excuse as to why he needs to call me from a different number (honestly, I feel he called from another number that does NOT record any conversations), he calls me back, tells me to hold on so that he can have someone that would be able to help me with the transaction, and he apologizes before connecting me to a woman.

    She gets on the phone and before I can even say anything, she tells me that her coworker informed her of what had happened and that if she can place me on a brief hold so that she can check on "whatever", she clicks back over to me and AGAIN tells me that she's going to put me back on hold very quickly to get this situated. I said okay, no problem! Seconds later, I'm disconnected from their end. I attempted to call them back at least 4 times and they just won't answer my calls now. So I had NO CHOICE but to contact my bank and inform them of what happened and how this company not once, but twice made an unauthorized transaction from my account again without my permission, but only this time they are NOT willing to credit my account back or even now answer my calls!

    My bank had to block my card, and report the funds as "stolen" and they are now going to send me a new bank card and they also are going to give them 24-48 hrs to send the funds back by disputing it, and however whether Fox Pest Control decides NOT to credit my account back, that my bank will and then they will now have to deal with my bank! This company is intentionally ignoring my calls and intentionally stole my money from my bank account. So please people be very careful of this company and I would honestly suggest not giving out your financial credentials and go about it the "old fashioned" way! ( COD). However, I did leave the company a very nice & respectful voice message.

    This company likes to withdraw money from your account and that’s about it. In the month of May they charged me 90$, another 90$, and the 60$ (240$) and they don’t inform you they are withdrawing. They came one day, in which there was a wind advisory, and sprayed my yard. During the winter they charge you 90$ and 60$ (150$) a month. For what I have no idea. Horrible customer service. I canceled after a year of this, I asked for my 90$ back from the month of May for services not rendered, and I have not gotten a reply. And the bugs in my yard are atrocious. I have never written a review before, never mind a negative one. I don’t have time, but I made a point to write one about this company. Just a buyer beware.

    The lack of professionalism, accountability, and integrity displayed by Fox Pest Control is truly disheartening. As a customer, I expected to be treated with respect and fairness. However, my experience with this company has been marked by frustration, disappointment, and a complete disregard for their contractual obligations.

    I strongly advise anyone considering Fox Pest Control to think twice before entrusting them with their pest control needs. Their subpar service and appalling customer service will only lead to frustration and wasted resources. Save yourself the headache and seek a reputable company that values their customers and takes pride in delivering quality service.

    I was looking for a pest control company for my spider issue and I found Fox. I tried them out and they've been pretty good since I started with them. Since they started treatment, the spider issue hasn't been as bad. There's one or two here or there. It's not major like it was before. The technicians were awesome. They were very professional and they stick to doing their job. They spray the whole house. They come, they do the basement, and they're like, "Okay, we're out," and it's just beautiful. I love it. When I had an emergency callout, the technicians came out the next day and they took care of the problem. It started getting warm outside and there were these little gnat-looking bugs. Fox is a very useful and convenient service. I love their customer service and their employees are very knowledgeable and efficient.

    When I was still married three years ago, Fox Pest Control was coming around our neighborhood and knocking on doors. We spoke to them and they had a certain price. I'm divorced now, but my wife then made them reduce it by 10%, then we took it. It worked out well at that time, but the price seems to have gone up quite a bit in the last three years. However, I can't be certain because I haven't asked around. I get advertisements from people I've used in the past, and I haven't discussed that with them yet. We originally started out at $50 a month, and now, it's up to somewhere between 60 and 65 a month. We used Terminix in the past, and they were less than 500 when we used them. They may have gone up a lot too but I can't be sure.

    The techs seem to be well-trained professionals. They're very friendly. They come into the house and do what they need to do, or outside around the house. It seems to be well, because I'm having very minimal problems with pests. In the past, I had problems with mice, carpenter ants and carpenter bees, but ever since they've been putting up their insecticides, I don't have those problems anymore. I'm happy with their service.

    The techs are at the house when I’m at work but they do the perimeter of the house. The few times that I have had issues, like a wasp that grew over my driveway, I called the number and someone was out the next day to resolve it. The first time that the techs came out, they went through the outside of the house and the eaves. They made sure they got rid of any bees' nest and any little spider webs. They just came out recently to go around and do the perimeter for fleas and ticks. I also had a mouse in my attic once and the techs came and put some mice traps out within a couple of days. And they came and looked at it.

    The mouse I found was dead, so I don't know how long it was there. But regardless, the tech came out and did something about it. It was in a new house and I didn't want to end up having issues. Which is why since he knocked on the door and we talked about it, I thought it would be good not to run into issues by having someone always come out and invest a little bit to keep insects out of my house. TruGreen tried to offer it onto their lawn care product but I'm getting more through Fox than I would be through them. Fox is protecting me against more insects than I am through TruGreen. And any time I need Fox, they're there. Everyone always like to save money but it's worth having my house protected and someone would come any time I need them.

    Fox had done some other houses on our street so we contacted them. They're great. Five times a year they come out and put granules down around the outside of the house. A couple of weeks ago, they came and dusted around the eaves. They couldn't do a liquid spray or whatever they were gonna do because it was raining. They called to schedule last week and it was raining again so they called and canceled. They were very prompt about getting in touch with us. They came back today and did the job.

    Matt was the tech that came and he went over some things that he found. I was out working in the yard one day and he saw some burrow holes near the foundation that he thought mice might be able to get into. He took care of those for me and showed me where they were. He told me that there were rabbits living under my deck too, which I knew about.

    Fox has been very good even though the prices have gone up. They come out when they say they are gonna come out. In the spring, we used to get ants in the house sometimes. We have not had that since Fox started doing treatments. I'm all happy. Also, we have a partial brick and some bees bore into the mortar and they were coming through a window. Fox was out the next day or two and they took care of that. The bees were gone.

    A young man from Fox Pest Control was going through the neighborhood and he knocked on our door. I didn't have a huge pest problem, but I have a large home, and we had a lot of rain that year. I have big oak trees and great big roaches live in those. I knew that because of the wet weather, they will come in to get out of the trees, so I was considering doing pest control. So, I talked to the young man.

    A guy from Fox recently came over and did the mosquito spray for my yard. He was very respectful. I also never had any issues with Fox and everyone that comes to my house is very nice and does a really good service.     Fox is great. I was impressed that it is local. The price is right and they are nice. I tell them my worries, and I want them to make sure they spray the room and the yard. I'm very satisfied. When you have a problem with the bill, you text them, and even though it gives you an automatic response, they still respond. Then they'll also call. They worked with me. They kept and put me at a lower rate.

    They wanted a payment, like a recurring checking account, but I said I couldn't do that because I know that there was a processing timeframe. So if I tell them to deduct on the 15th and even though they pull it on the 15th, I don't see it on my bank until a few days later. So I send them a monthly payment. Recently, they sent me an auto check thing because I had a balance due of $6 and change. For that reason, they could not come out and spray. So I got upset. I forgot it was an automatic reply thing.

    I sent them off with a reply text and I said, "For $6, you told me you can't come out and spray in the house even though I pay you every month. I'm an existing client for at least a decade, if not longer. Tell me I'm wrong." Then they replied the next business day saying, "We're sorry. It was an automatic response. As far as the bill, it's also an automatic response on the text message. We got your message. We understand. It's no problem." So they scheduled someone to come out that day, and I was happy.

    When I have a service, they bill my credit card, and then about two weeks later, they let me know that somebody's gonna come at a certain date and do the treatment. They call me on the day that they're gonna come do the treatment, and then they do the treatment, and then follow up with a request that I give them some sort of survey related to the visit. The technicians are always different. But they are always very polite and respectful. I've had a good experience with them. It costs 100 bucks each time they come out, and I'm okay right now, but I'm not gonna do that forever. I signed up with Fox because of a nice young man who came to my door about three years ago.

    Fox Pest Control sends us an email to let us know that they're inbound, then we'll get a phone call to let us know that they are coming the next day. The techs who come are always polite as well as very thorough of everything that they do, and before you know it, they're gone and the issue is taken care of. Most of the time, they spray the exterior of the home, around the windows, and any possible openings within the home. They're detailed to where you can physically watch them go out there and do their thing. They've never missed a beat, and if I need additional service, I would just pick up the phone and call them.     Last December, Fox reps came by and wanted to know if they could put in the new terminator stuff into the yard, which they did that to keep the termites from my deck. I then paid in January, February and March. In March, on the $159 check that I wrote, I said final payment. They called me back and I told them that I paid them for all three months and I don't owe them for any more of their service. The young lady that worked with me then was extremely nice and told me that their records do not show that I paid in February. But I told her that I sent them a copy of my payment for that month. So, I told her that I was going to run a copy of the check and mail it to them.

    The problem is, she did that right in the middle of the NCAA Final Four for women's basketball. I'm a huge fan of my Lady Tigers and since I was in the middle of watching all my final four games for them, I forgot to mail the copy of the check to them. I still have the copy laying next to my printer. So, I called to tell them that I had forgotten to mail it and that I was going to mail it to them that day. Or if they wanted me to, I'd bring it to their office. What I discovered by talking to this young lady was that the techs came to my yard and did not notify me either by message or telephone call that they ripped all those things out of my backyard that they put in last December, making holes all over my backyard. It was done when I was not at home.

    I have a dog and I keep my granddaughter's dog about half the time. So, they're running around in the backyard with holes everywhere. I found my dog stepping on one the other day, but he was just walking, so he caught himself. But Fox is going to get sued up if anything happens to my dog. I told the young lady the other day when I called her back that I want a refund of the other two payments I made because I've had nothing since they decided to come and not tell me they were ripping those things out of my yard. She said she would talk to her manager and I haven't heard back from them yet. That was two weeks ago.

    Other than that, I've had Fox for five years now and with the pest control, I was happy as a lark. They spray outside of my house and so far, I don't have any bugs. I may get one if it rains though. Also, when I started with them, they were charging $95 a month to spray outside my house. Now, they went up to 122 and that didn't even bother me because I was getting such excellent service. But with this thing that I had to deal with in my backyard, I ain't happy at all.

    Fox comes out five times a year. It's spaced out during the summer months, and they have a different treatment depending on the time of the year. They have different insecticides that they put down and treat the foundation for termites and things like that. Their technicians come out and they have a schedule of the treatments depending on the time of the year and what pests they're trying to control. So, it's really within their control. I don't direct them in any way as to the timing or what to put down. Fox has been able to control the pest issue pretty well. When we do have an issue, we contact them and they respond quickly to rectify anything. We're happy with the service that we get and the results have been positive. It's a valued service, and we plan to continue to use them.

    We live in a pretty problematic area but the service from Fox has met our expectation. We had a bee issue at one of our kids’ playground equipment at our old house and when we called them, they got out there that day to exterminate them.     Fox Pest Control have highly recommended professionals. They know what they're doing. If it's not the same technician that comes out, they always do a full report so that whoever the next person is knows exactly what they're dealing with and what they're coming into. They usually come out once a quarter. They'll do the regular like traps for rodents and sprays for any insects inside and out, along the perimeter. They call ahead and let us know that they're coming, and if we have any concerns, we let them know, and they take care of it. The technicians have been excellent and extremely friendly. They work around our schedules and do everything they can to not leave a mess. They also clean up if they make a mess, which only happened once because of a speck of dirt. I like them.

    Fox Pest Control has always been very courteous. When we need extra service, they're happy to accommodate at no charge. They come out every three months, and they do everything from cleaning the house off of webs and spiders and they do the mice control with the traps. They also do the outside for ticks and termites. We have these little boxes that they put outside and they spray. We get the full service. So, every time they come, they do something different depending on what the season is. If you need control of any pests, get Fox because they are good. They've always delivered.

    The technicians are great and it's usually the same one every time. They're always very professional and the one who normally comes to us knows where everything is, where to go, and what to do where. It's really nice that we don't have to babysit him and make sure that everything gets done. I'm liking the results. They've come out in-between treatments whenever needed at no extra charge. But I wish the service isn't as expensive as it is.

    The only complaint I have is that Fox had called me trying to set up a time to do a termite inspection because they said they've been seeing an uptick in them. Three times now, I've gotten calls about it and I tell them the same thing every time that I want to be present for this because it is something new. I work a normal job and I cannot be there until 5:00. They said they would accommodate me and it still hasn't happened. Our normal technician lives not far from us. So, he always makes us his last stop so that it's at the end of our work day. If he needs something, it's less of an inconvenience because we're less likely to have meetings at 4:30 when our day ends at 5:00. If he comes in the middle of the day, it's the flip of a coin if somebody will be available or not. Other than that, I've been satisfied with the service.

    I called Fox on Friday for mice treatment. They were trying to get someone out here for Saturday but he was booked. The rep came out this morning, and he was very nice and told me everything that I needed to know. He looked outside and in my cabinets. He pulled the refrigerator out to see if there were any droppings. He saw a few. He put the glue traps out for me and said that he was gonna do a week follow up.     The quarterly Fox Pest Control treatments for insects are effective. We used to have issues in the spring with ants invading our home so the treatments solved the ant issue. The level of detail for completing our quarterly treatment varies based on the technician providing the service. Some technicians are really thorough providing the service per our contract but others are outside our home for about five minutes and don't clear away spider webs per our contract. The three star rating is due to the annoying college age salesmen that Fox Pest Control sends out to sell their products.

    My experience has been very positive. Jerry comes and does what he needs to do and there is no contact at all. I have dogs, so he calls ahead so I can make sure they are in the house.     We had carpenter ants in the house and birds were pecking at the shingles. They sprayed for all that. The techs are always on time and they're efficient. They are very friendly, courteous and professional. We don't have to be here when they're doing their service. We can always rely on them. We notice a huge difference with the service. The only problem we still have is with mice and that's just something that's tough to deal with.

    Fox's service is well worth it for what you pay. We had a lot of damage done especially with the carpenter ands and the woodpeckers pecking up the shingles. Most of that has stopped. Our daughter was off with the dog and we never a tick found on the dog. If they went into the woods, they would come back with a few ticks. But if they stayed in the property, there were no ticks. We're very happy with the service.

    I initially contacted Fox for mice. I love my technician, Eric. I request him. He's very good. I recommend Fox. They're very polite. It's a good company. The only bad thing I had was, we did this whole bat excursion thing because we had a bat in the attic. We spent a lot of money on that. It's a walk-in attic, so I was up there before Christmas, and a bat was flying by my head on a Saturday night. So, I called them up on Monday, and lo and behold, they don't do the bats anymore. Nobody even told me that, which is crappy.

    I found bugs in my basement. Fox has been very effective. I use them on and off. When I've used them, they've gotten everything under control. I've canceled my services because I didn't need the ongoing maintenance. Then, about six months to a year later, I would call them back when I saw activity increasing. My experience with Fox has been very good. They're not all consistent. It depends on the technician that you get, but they've all been professional. Some are just more thorough than others.

    Overall, I'm very pleased with Fox's services. I would recommend them and I would continue to use them. The only thing is their billing practices. They bill before they come out. So for example, I have a service coming up at the end of this month, but they've already billed me for the month. I would prefer to see myself be billed after the services because if I don't schedule something, they have my money.

    The salesman was friendly, earnest and promised us good service, and I gave Fox Pest Control a shot. The normal maintenance is above and beyond whatever other companies we've used, like Terminix in the past. Whenever I see anything or we have a situation, Fox Pest Control is out here the same day. The latest is the following morning, if it’s later in the afternoon. If I saw a little, four-legged friend, the amount of time it takes for them to come out is technically quick. I've never had service like that, which is why we kept them on. So, they're worth every penny.

    The techs are all pleasant. My husband is on a first name basis with three of the guys who have come out. They’re very personal, friendly and trustworthy. They walk around my house. Normally, if someone comes into your house, you follow them. We're at the point where the trust for the guys is they just go through what they have to do and they just let me know when they're done and I'll lock up.

    I contacted Fox because of mice. I didn't see them but they left droppings everywhere. Now, I don't see any droppings anywhere. About a year ago, the mice also ate the soap on my basement sink. They ran their teeth across the top. I've had a fresh bar there since then and they haven't eaten the soap. So far, it's been good. The tech was very nice and he explained everything to me like how the mice operate. I've been learning about all these things. Fox is very good when they come here. They take care of all the outside and the inside. I'm a happy camper.

    The tech was here on November 30. I didn't make it home in time because I had a dentist's appointment. I called and the tech had taken care of the outside. He said, "I'll try and get back there," and he did. He went through the house like he usually does. The mice ate the poison in the boxes so he put new poison in there. He filled a hole in my wall outside. I had a pipe coming through to water the garden and he plugged it for me. We're going to find out if that was one of the entrances the mice made. I have to wait and see now. He told me to seal all my basement windows and my son came and did that.

    Last summer I had a minor problem with ants in the kitchen and a salesperson showed up at my door offering pest control services. We had a conversation regarding what type of services that were offered and I thought it might be good to try. In our discussion the sales person said I could try it out for a quarter and if I didn't like I could cancel. Not true. I signed a years' agreement thinking there would be honor in this agreement. It turns out they are faceless and uncoordinated with no intention of letting see if their service was good. After two months went by I saw no real change because the ants went away on their own. I know this because of years dealing with this particular species, after 8 weeks they go somewhere else. So I decided there was no real value to this service and tried to cancel.

    I tried cancelling online but no I needed to speak with someone. I waved off the on site pest people 3 times saying I am cancelling the service. I called customer service to finally cancel and they kept ignoring my request and continued to try and sell me. I expect I would need to pay for the remainder of the quarter but I got hit with an additional $150. Early termination fee. I explained about what the sales person said and they said they had no record of this and it is never allowed. Seems like they are more interested in getting their fees than they are in offering a good honest service. Beware all!

    I signed up for service in June 2021. They have tried to upsell me multiple times, including telling me a service included in my contract was no longer included and that I would need to start paying for it halfway through my contract. After my 12 month contract ended, I requested a service cancellation, and they raised my rates for the services left before the cancelation. They sprayed my organic food garden with chemicals despite a request to not do so. I have this on security footage.

    I called about this, and was told by the person answering the phone, Morgan, that she has no manager or supervisor and that she would not refund money for services not yet rendered. She also said that it's company policy to change rates without telling customers. I was eventually put in touch with Kayla, their business manager, who told me that she had nothing to say to me and the case was closed as far as she was concerned. I have not been refunded for payments made for services I did not receive in September 2022, when the reasons I canceled before that service were due to retaliatory price changes and poisoning my food garden.

    First off I just want to start by saying that I don't usually give bad reviews ever. But I got scammed. One of the salespeople came to by house and pitch me their services. I have mosquitoes in my backyard and I spray every month to get rid of them. I thought maybe the so called professional have a better product. I gave them a shot. I was only interested in mosquitoes. They said it's parts of a package and everything comes with it. Their product didn't work and the mosquitoes kept coming back. They scheduled another appointment and I told them no--In my mind your product didn't work the first time. They said it's part of a contract--which was never mentioned to me.

    The salesperson said they would come back, I said can I cancel anytime they said sure, if I didn't like the service. What they didn't tell me was that there's a 150 cancelation fee because we are going into a contract. And that I enter into two contracts. One for mosquitoes and one for everything else, which I didn't need in the first place. What a rip off. Now they are charging me 300 to cancel. That is the last time they will see a penny for me.

    Had yellowjackets in eaves. Called Fox Pest Control on Monday to have them exterminated. They first tried to sell me a year long contract. I stated that I did not need a year of pest control, but just needed to have the yellowjackets exterminated so I could do some siding work in that area. For more than double the price of their original quote they stated I could get the yellowjackets exterminated with a single visit. I agreed and had to pay up front. They said a technician would show up on Friday with a window of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

    Four days later I am staying home all day to wait for the technician to show and by 4:00 pm no technician, no calls. Technician calls after 5:00 pm and states he is on the way. The technician shows up and shoots pesticide powder into the area where the bees are entering. He then sprays a larger area around the bee entrance and along the eaves. He is a nice guy and seems to know what he is doing. He states that the powder will be carried by the bees into the hive and kill all the ones inside and the spray will keep them from finding new entrances. He also states that they should be gone within a couple of days. It is now Tuesday and the yellowjackets are still thriving. They seem to have multiplied.

    I called Fox and told them that the yellowjackets were not exterminated nor had they left the area and they (Fox) should come back and try again. Fox told me that since I did not sign a year long contract that I would have to pay for another visit. I asked why I should have to pay another $250 when they didn't do what they were paid to do on the original visit. I was told that was their policy and would have to pay again if they came out again. I told them no thanks and would look for another company.

    There have been out 3 times for rat control, but they are not able to resolve the issues. Traps were set inside and outside, but the rat are just running rapidly. The roof rats are attic but the service guy can not go into the attic because walk boards are not installed in my attic. The service guy only reset the mouse traps but did not add any more rat poison in the trap because he felt it was still good but it look dried out to me. The sticky trap was not put down this time because he felt that it did not work well, but that is how the baby mice are caught if you ask me.

    They were to treat for fleas today also, but I was told a different service guy does that work. Wish I would have been told that last week when I made the appointment for rat and flea treatment. Feeling stuck in a bad dream. I have order addition treatment from Amazon to aid in the pest control while I pay for FOX pest control service. I just wanted my rat problem resolved but that is not going to happen. I was reading the contract and it may be for 2 yr, yet I was told it was 1yr. Also, say where there was a 150 cancellation fee. The hold had not been clogged yet, but if you can not go into the attic how can you patch any holes?

    I had Fox a couple of years ago primarily for carpenter bees, ants and spiders. Their customer service and technicians were very polite and professional. I had no problem with the service people. The only thing that I didn't care for was I had to be totally committed to the number of times they had to come out and the amount of money you had to pay. If I didn't, then I’d pay a large surcharge. It was not easy. In the winter, when I didn't need anything, it was kind of frustrating. The only other thing was they were persistent. They kept calling me and wanting me to come back but then I said I was done with their service. Other than that, they did accomplish what they initially set out to do.

    We had a mosquito issue so I reached out to Fox and tried them. Customer service is very good and their techs are very respectful. On maybe the third application, I started to get bit at night which was odd. I called Fox and they came back and resprayed without an issue. They told me to reach out if it ever happens again and they’ll come and respray. Now, I can sit in my backyard at night and not get eaten alive.

    When I was calling for quotes, Fox Pest was the friendliest. They made me feel comfortable talking about the problem at hand. When they came out to give me the estimate, they were over the top in making people feel comfortable with having that extremely mortifying issue. Everything went great with Fox Pest. But it didn't work the first time around. The poor guy had to come back three rounds. I have a really big bed frame and it had some padding in it and some jewels and the pests were stuck in there.     I went with Fox for the price. There was quite a big difference. Their treatment is also different from the standard termite treatment where they usually dig a trench around the house and pour the pesticide into the ditch. With Fox Pest Control, they use the bait traps all around the house and you pay for a monthly service with that. They then come in to check the traps every three months.

    Another thing about Fox is they responded quickly. They got out there and did a good job of explaining what their bait traps are, how they work, and what they're supposed to do. They were very informative on the treatment they're normally performing on the house. I recommended Fox to my neighbor because he's also worried about termites since he saw the situation I dealt with. He's getting Fox Pest Control out there to set up the traps at his house too.

    If I had a complaint it would only be that the price was really high. Because I had my son’s whole house, and he had a big house, done with the other company for a lot less than it cost me to do just my garage. It was the only thing I was not happy about. But I paid because it needed to be done. You can’t have a bat in your house. It’s one thing if it’s in your attic. You can live with it for a while. But when he's playing around when you're trying to sleep, not good. But Fox Pest Control's service was great. They got there quickly. Three guys came out. I didn't even talk to anyone. They told me I didn't even have to be home, which I thought was weird because how would they check and see if it was all filled up from inside and if there were any dead bats? They just put some ladders on the building, and they went up. They put the little bat houses in. And it seemed like they were in for a while. Everything was good.

    The last guy that used to work for the other company came and cleaned up the poop from the bats and made sure there were no dead bats around. But they said they only needed to do work from the outside. Which again, for the price, was expensive, considering they didn't even go inside and make sure everything was okay. There was nobody even home. I saw them on my Ring. I didn't even see them. They just came. I saw there were a couple of trucks. They were there for a half-hour, and they were gone. But I haven't had any sign of bats.

    For my home, Fox Pest Control’s customer service was fine. But for my business, I dropped it because they could not coincide with my hours.     I had mouse issues, and I called Fox. They came on and took care of it at my primary, and that was how I got started. Then I started bringing all my rental properties in. Setting up a service with Fox used to be a lot easier. They're trying to expand now and things have gotten a little more complicated and more of a hassle. Their customer service is good but going through the whole setup process would be nice if it was a lot smoother.     I went away from Fox 'cause they didn't do termite inspections. I was refinancing my house, so I had to use somebody else that did termite inspections. But then the person I went never showed up. And Fox was always reliable. They always showed up. So I went back to them. I had mice and the little ants. Fox went through the house and checked for any entry that the mice could come in and locked them up. They did a good job doing that. They were friendly. They put the traps down with poison in them. They check them. They come in every quarter and they fill them. And if you spy anything that you think you have a problem with, they come right back out. I had a dog and they put down stuff for ticks. And my dog really never had any ticks.

    We had a bird's nest up underneath our soffit so we called Fox. There were bees there, too and it was on the top floor. Somebody came with a small car and I was like, "How do you have a ladder in that?" He said, "Oh, we don't have a ladder." I said, "How are you fixing the bee problem and the bird that's going in there? I don't want to have a big hive in my house." They never came to fix that ever. I wanted that taken care of. All they did was service the termite stuff and never the initial thing that I called about. Some of the guys that came out here were nice, but they were not equipped to handle.

    For the termites, the tech came and he drilled holes. We had 12 by 12 marble squares in the entrance to our house to the back of the house and he cracked them. They're almost impossible to replace for somebody like me to just go ahead and do that. He said he was going to come back and fix it, and then he threw some cement in there, and still, to this day, it looks horrible. Price-wise, I was given different prices. I first called them about bees, and then we got into termites, and then there was a price snafu. It was definitely frustrating and I never went back with Fox again.

    I'm recently started back up with Fox Pest Control and so far, everything seems to be working out good. I've had one technician and he was very pleasant and explained the process for me. However, they told me that they would go out every six months to change the bait, but I didn't realize that there was a monthly service charge for that plan. Other than that, everything else was explained, how it works and what they do when they come out to service me.

    I ended up letting go of Fox Pest Control because they weren't doing their job. Every time they sent somebody over, they were supposed to do follow-ups but they never did. So, it was not worth it. Sometimes they would just show up, so they didn't always do service calls. The contractors were all young, but they were fine. However, they weren't doing what I needed them to do and I didn't feel like they ever heard what I was asking. We had a mouse problem and they never solved that problem. We called in Big Blue Bug and they did.

    Fox Pest Control was excellent. The ant problem did not get fixed with the organic stuff and I did end up calling New England Pest Control, but Fox did come back because the ants came back. The ants were fierce this year. I didn't fault Fox at all. They were nice. It was that I wanted the organic stuff, and I think there is a need to use chemicals. I don't even know if Fox has that. I found them because I wanted the organic stuff. I would still use them with the chemicals if they have that too because their people were sweet. Everyone I dealt with were so professional and kind.

    Fox Pest Control said they were going to come and they did all the things they said they were going to do. We had a contract for a whole year and they did a whole year's worth of different things to take care of the pests outside and inside. I was happy with them and for a whole year, the cost seemed fair to me.

    They've done their job and they do well. I've had a couple of issues where I tell them they have to come back and they came back on time exactly when they said so. If I had ants and they sprayed, and the ants came back within a week, then I call them back. It's great service. Overall, it's been a good experience. They're a great company.
