I had 3 different problems. The roof was the first. They were very helpful. He did all he could do for the problem when he came. He very promptly sent us the estimated cost for repair. I am not quite sure if the bill is to be paid by Choice? I also had dryer problem. He found the problem. Ordered the part. It was here the next day. We put new knobs on. Repair man was very courteous. I also had a garage door problem. The repair man was Andy. He was the nicest most honest person and fixed our garage door and even told us some special things to do for upkeep. I am most pleased with the service we received. We just swapped warranty carriers. The other company was called out for our garage door, he said it was old. He was here for 5 minutes and I had to pay him $75.00 for telling me it can't be fixed. Warranty companies get a bad name because of the rip off ones.

My washing machine quit working properly. I contacted Choice Warranty. They contacted TN Appliance Co. who were so professional and came when they said they would. The technician was awesome and knew right away what was wrong. I needed a new washing machine and Choice agreed and they are sending me a check! Great service!

Our heating unit was blowing cold air vice hot. I called Choice and was promptly taken given a claim # and was pleased with their genuine concern for our problem. I received quick response also from the servicing company for same day service appointment. Upon arrival the problem was professionally found and repaired (just prior to the colder weather setting in). Thank you for being there and truly helping us in our time of need. Dated: 1 Jan. 2016.

This was my first time using Choice Home Warranty and it was very pleasant. I placed claim call and a customer service rep happily took my information within minutes. 2 hours later, I was assigned a technician and was able to have him at my home the next morning. He had all the necessary knowledge to diagnose the problem quickly. Part (circ pump) was on his truck and the heat was working before 12 pm. I'm very happy with this experience.

Over the Christmas Holiday my water heater stopped working. I called Choice and received a call from the plumbing company within an hour. They showed me the problem (a short in the wires that had caused some internal fire damage). They said it could be repaired and quoted me a price which Choice approved. I opted to apply the repair quote to the purchase of a new water heater since it was over 20 years old and I felt it was a better option to replace the old with the new for peace of mind, not to mention that the new heater would also be more efficient. I'm glad I had Choice and was very pleased with the service and the outcome.

The technician and service received was great. The technician made an adjustment that lessened the problem, but it still occasionally returns. There were some other issues with the appliance not covered by warranty, and buying replacement parts for them would cost more than a new appliance, so we elected to replace the appliance on our own instead of opting for another service call.

CHW is awesome! Claim service is very accommodating. I had a problem with my water heater that need to be replaced and CHW responded right away. I was able to get reimbursement with no problem of the fees performed by the plumber who had worked on the water heater installation. Additionally, when my washer broke down, CHW assigned a technician who fixed it in less than 30 minutes. I'm happy with the CHW Customer and Claim service. Will continue to do business with CHW.

The electronics board went out on my built-in microwave. The customer service agent took my information well, I was contacted by a technician in my area quickly, and he was able to come work on my microwave quickly. He got it to work temporarily while we wait for a part he ordered to come in. He was very professional.

The wash machine had a timer problem and it was repaired with only the copay. As it turned out there was an additional problem that followed about a week after the repair and Choice repaired that without a copay. It has worked fine since.

I would recommend CHW to every home owner. I belong to them years ago when we first build the house and now 18 years later we joined again and don't know why we ever stopped. I never will again. They gave me a deal where the yearly dues NEVER increase and I pay $45 for a service call. So far we have used it 3 times and each time we had a serviceman out within 24 hours and the problem was fixed without any issues at all. Customer Service is a pleasure to deal with and they provide everything they advertise.

I am very happy with the result of my policy with Choice... Being a builder and real estate broker, I see the faults of all home warranty companies. Even though Choice Home is not exempt from their share of scheduling issues, they do track and allow an easy way for the customer to be proactive without feeling abuse. They do have it together and do get the job done. Therefore I would and do recommend them highly.

I had American Home Shield for around two years. When my 15-year-old dryer broke, they opted to fix it at a cost of over 700 dollars. I was totally blown away by that decision and the below sub-par customer service and the wait time to get a representative. I cancelled my contract. I instead signed up with Choice Home. My A/C would not cool anymore so I called in a trouble call. I had a tech at my house the same day. Service was definitely better than the previous company. The tech says the entire unit will have to be replaced.
Choice Home calls me several hours later and the rep tells me that they will not cover the cost of replacement. Why I ask, the rep tells me the condenser has rust on it. The unit is in the attic in a metal box. The rep reads off a section alpha page whatever stating that if an item has rust on it, they will not cover it. What's the point of a home warranty if they will not help the customer? They take your money but give you nothing in return. Save your 55 dollars a month. Put it in a savings account and when you need it, it will be there. All these home warranty companies in my opinion are crooks.

Quick response to my problem with my dryer not drying clothes, but I was told by the repairman that he did not know if he could find the part or not. I had to call the contractor today, as no one had returned my calls. I talked with someone from Brice Contractors, and they are coming on Saturday morning. I sincerely hope that this works. What if it doesn't --- will it be covered?

We requested service Sat 12/19/15, and 30 mts later a tech 22/15 they call me and a technician was assigned. At 12/22/15 again call me stating they can't perform the work as promised. After call you and gave me another service company and they came the 12/23. After the inspection we had to wait till 12/28 when was repaired. Meantime we had to be without the micro on Christmas. With all inconveniences the co. AJ,S is excellent at services, courtesy and professionalism, like you to fix the problem. Opposite to KG,S, the first with lack of professionalism.

I have used CHW twice so far both times it has been clogged drains. The company sent was very quick to resolve the issues. The only negative is that it has taken up to 48 hrs to get the technician to me.

Signed up with Choice on 11/1/15. On 12/6 called in for repair of hot water heater that was staying on at all times. First repair visit - replace thermostat. Now no hot water at all. Next repair visit - said that new thermostat was bad - put in another. Now back to original problem. Next repair visit broke off heating coil trying to remove damaged hot water heater. Spoke to Choice - said the problem happened before I signed up and therefore they would not cover. I asked, “How long do I have to wait before they stop blaming everything on pre-existing condition?” The operator, who was rude, said that they cannot answer that (it is up to them).
So bottom line, the section of their service agreement that stated that they will not cover any unknown pre-existing conditions give them an out. The service person said that they will do anything possible to get out of paying a claim and told me they never replace a hot water heater. Read their exceptions before signing up. EVERY ITEM HAS EXCLUSIONS THAT MAKE THEM JUDGE, JURY AND EXECUTIONER!

I was disappointed several times by another server... It was the first time I used Choice and decided I see how it went in 3 major fields of repair. The electrician contacted me right away, came out the next day, told me one fan couldn't be repaired, suggested I buy a new one, came back after I had the correct parts and changed two fans and 3 outlets in a speedy and efficient manner. One worked in one area and the other in another and they cross checked each other's work. The plumbers responded as well, I also needed some additional parts, called them to reschedule, they came out as agreed and worked diligently until all jobs were complete. Appliance person responded immediately, came out and fixed the problem the next day. You can't ask for better than that! I am very please and purchased a long term plan.

I called the company to make a claim for faulty ceiling fans (Wirings, which were a fire hazard). According to my plan, ceiling fans are covered. When the technician informed them that they needed to replace the fans, we were told that they will only authorize "builders grade" fans which were about 1/2 the amount of what they actually cost.
We had to speak to more than 9 service representatives. It took more than an hour and a half to get an understanding of what they were actually going to do. The technician actually felt as if we were be given the runaround. We were put on hold more than 10 times. (Whew) If you have a real emergency, pay for it yourself. If they say they are covering your roof, BE CAREFUL. They are not going to cover your costs. I have never endured such runaround with a company before!!! The technician kept asking, how they should submit the work order to be paid, they gave him the runaround as if they did not want to pay him. Mind you, they are taking money out of my account monthly. Is it worth the cost?

I had a repair service that was less than stellar and Choice was able to make it right quickly. The service provider took over 24 days only to report that the part was not available. I called the manufacturer and had the part sent to me in two days. Choice reimbursed me for the expense and satisfied the issue.

After all the hoopla with First American Home Warranty I basically swore off home warranty companies. However I decided to go with a company with minimal cost to me and just to have a little bit of assurance, because I don't have contractors at my whim. Well I am glad I chose Choice Home Warranty Services. I was skeptical because unlike last time I did my homework this time and most of the reviews were decent. I put in a service request about my washer on 12/25/15, got a call 12/26/15. Technician from RMR came out, diagnosed the problem and today 12/28/15 got a call from Choice advising me that to repair the problem would be more than what the machine is worth and I will be getting a check for basically what I paid for the washer. This is what I am talking about. I will be getting a new washer.
Updated on 02/02/2016: On 12/28/15 I was advised by Choice Home Warranty that I would be issued a check in the amount of $299.99. I was further advised that the check process takes 30 days and I should receive the check by 1/30/16. I was advised to call if the check was not received. I called today 2/1/16 and after being transferred to 3 customer services reps l was advised by Mesha because the check was issued the week of 1/19/16 the check was out of Choice's hands and the delivery of the check was on the post office.
I was given the option to either pay a $30 stop payment fee or wait an additional 90 days to see if the check resurfaces. When I asked why wasn't this disclosed to me on 12/28/15 I did not get an answer. I further questioned that if all was on the Post Office was the check issued certified mail, it was not. I asked for a check #, I was advised one could not be given. The reason I believe a check # could not be given is because one was never issued. I do wish for a peaceful resolution and most importantly my check.

Once they got the right service tech it was pretty easy to solve my issues. They choose not to fix my range, but to make a blanket payment for the purchase of a new or newer one. My only issue was it took 3+ weeks to get the payment. Not good going into the holidays with no range.

I've made a claim online on Christmas which they got back to me right away with the technician information, which I thought the technician would call me. However, I had to call them since my kitchen sink backed up. I called throughout the day to technician with no callback and no answer on the phone. I contacted Choice toll free number that displays 24/7 on website, however when I called they said their offices are closed. So I emailed the emergency line with no response and I sent 2 emails on my claim with no response. I'm going on 3 days without being able to use my sink. Is Choice Home Warranty 24/7 establishment or is it false advertising on the site, and the sales person who sold me the plan lied too about 24/7 services? This is first time I had to put in a claim and deeply disturbed with the customer service. If this is the case I want my $ back.

HORRIBLE HOME WARRANTY COMPANY. I never write reviews online, but there's a first for everything. If you are already with this company, do yourself a favor and find another company. I just experienced the worst customer service EVER. I was much better off with #AmericanHomeShield. Please think twice before signing up with this company. I've used them one time and the first service company they dispatched never showed up. Then the second company charged us an outrageous amount for something CHW denied.
Then the next time I needed them to work on our a/c, they didn't dispatch the call and I had to call back and remain on the phone for 45 minutes. I ended up having to call someone on my own and pay for it out of pocket. Now, today I did a claim online only to be contacted a hour later by a foreign representative telling me (very rudely might I add) that's my issue with my hot water heater would not be covered and he would not dispatch service. I asked that particular representative, Carlos, to escalate my call and his response was, "No, I won't do that, you can call back." I'm still in disbelief.
Come to find out, after speaking to a "supervisor" that took 50 minutes to get on the phone, Carlos is with their dispatch dept. Ha, as if that's why I experienced what I did?? Then I was told that my leak on my hot water heater might be covered, but the tank is not covered. Makes no sense whatsoever. Please think twice about paying for services with this company. It's not worth the headache. And if anyone else has experienced something similar, please email me: **. This company is not rated well with the BBB and apparently they get away with a lot.

Unfortunately, my Microwave was not fixable because the part was not available for it to be repaired. Choice is giving my cash for it instead of repairing it and I think it is fair considering the age of it. It was a great Microwave, but just stopped working.

I called on Christmas Eve not expecting to get service. Within 45 minutes a technician was at my home. Fixed the problem. Tech was very courteous and answered all my concerns. I highly recommend Choice Warranty to any homeowner.

I called in on December 21, 2015 because my dryer stopped working. They put me on the schedule for next day after 5 pm. They were working late to finish up all the Choice Home warranty customers before Christmas holidays started. All fixed!

The person who helped me was very patient and kind and efficient. I have my new washer, and I'm very happy. The service man was also on time and professional. Everything was finished in a week. I would certainly recommend this company to family and friends.

I receive multiple spam emails from this company daily. I have filled out the unsubscribe section 25-30 times but to no avail. I now forward every spam the federal spam reporting site but nothing has helped. I would NEVER do ANY business with these people!

I bought this warranty hoping it would protect me in my time of need. I was mistaken. My refrigerator quit on me and I am savvy enough to know that my Condenser gave out on me. I called these folks and they sent me a technician, Matt with Hinco something, after 5 days. (My food went bad). I asked them if they could find some on else sooner, but they told me he was the only one they had. Once the Tech came, he diagnosed that the "Sealed System Condenser" had given away and told us that he would call the Choice Home and let them know... I had to pay 45 $ for the visit.
A few days later, the Choice Home folks called me back to tell me that, "Since there is a leak in the system, we do not cover leaks." I called the Tech back and asked him about all this. He was stunned. He told me he had given his report that the compressor was probably out and he was not the right person for that as he would not service that. I told him what the Choice Home People told me and he said that similar thing happened to him earlier with another client, when he had gone to fix a Washer Dryer and had given a report saying that the Timer was out and the Choice Home people called the customer and told him they did not cover the knob. When that was not the case at all, the client, according to the Tech, cussed the, out and finally they gave him an approval. The Tech advised me to do the same thing. I tried but to no avail.
These people are cheats. They will take their money in a heartbeat and will not pay up when and if it is their time to pay back. I will be filing a lawsuit. I don't care how much it costs me, but these MFs are totally fraud. They might pay up a few dollars but when it comes time to pay up for the big amount, they will try to find a way not to pay. I will be writing this all over the Internet, Facebook... wherever I can... along with the Lawsuit I intend to file. Please don't get duped with their smooth talk and misrepresentation. Folks like this need to be in jail.

Our heating unit broke sometime between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. We awoke on Saturday to find a cold downstairs. Luckily the upstairs unit was still working. After submitting a claim online and calling Choice directly, we were assigned a technician. Unfortunately the technician did not perform warranty work on the weekends. With the help of space heaters we made it through the weekend. On Monday morning, the technician came as scheduled. He worked for more than two hours on the unit. Our unit was fixed and back blowing out warm air. I asked the technician what the repair would have cost and he said over $300 (had we not had the warranty). Thank goodness we had it!!

One of technicians stole the service fee and lied about coming to my condo and looking at the problem I was having with my dishwasher. His last name was ** and the company that hired him has since fired him for stealing the service fee and lying about receiving the fee.

I filled out the online claim form on Saturday afternoon for my non-functioning garage-door opener. I received an email with the phone number to a technician within a couple hours. I called the tech on Sunday morning expecting his voicemail but he answered and made an appointment to come for early Monday morning. The tech arrived on-time, evaluated the problem, and called Choice Home Warranty. I had a BRAND NEW, garage door opener installed and functioning within two hours of the tech's initial arrival.

I have recently switched to Choice from American Home Shield for my rental house in Texas. I live in Georgia and have already noticed a significant improvement by switching to Choice. My orders go through my property management company and area always resolved easily and in a timely manner. Before switching it took American home shield 2 months to do a $50 fix on the refrigerator which resulted in a lawsuit from my tenants which I understand completely. With Choice I haven't had any issues or complaints from my management company or tenants.

I submitted my claim online. Choice was very prompt in response. The next day (we told them it was not urgent) repair was onsite. The problem has been diagnosed. Half of the repair is covered by warranty. Repair is not completed yet - this was our choice to delay, as we were so pleased with the service provider... We are having our maintenance done at same time, right after the Holiday.

Great service. Drain Wizard acted fast and got done on time. The plumber was great and friendly. He made sure I knew every step he was taking. He gave tips on how to keep hair out of drains. Great experience. Even told me of a couple products to purchase to help keep hair out of drains and even told where to buy and price.

Called CHW about 11:15 pm regarding a service needed in the bathroom, well all I can say is that by 1 pm the following day the work was completed and the bathroom tub was ready, now that's without equivocation FAST!!! The tech that was sent to our home came within a few hours of us calling in the problem with our garage door opener, and it was a Saturday. He made some adjustments, greased the track and we tried it about 10 times. It worked flawlessly. The next morning it was froze up again. I called on Sunday direct to the provider. He told me that he could probably adjust it again, but that it might quit again so he recommended he come Monday morning and see what was wrong. He replaced the capacitor and it worked but he said there was too much wear on the unit and recommended replacement. They were out of stock on the unit I requested so it will be a day or two before the new unit is installed. He was very informative, helpful and professional. I am very satisfied.

Brian Plbg. called promptly to come out that night and did come out in a timely manner. Had to replace the disposal and changed out all the PVC pipes. Very nice gentleman and seemed thorough. Just recently became a CHW customer a couple months ago and this was my first claim with them. The representative was very friendly and the contractor that came out to replace my garbage disposal were awesome. Makes me feel even at more ease knowing that I have CHW protecting me.

Service tech came out to evaluate situation with leaking water heater. He determined that it had a ruptured tank. After calling Choice Home Warranty Co., the tech was told that it was not covered. I then received an automated call telling me to call CHW Co. I was informed that only things like burners and faucets were covered. Not the actual tank. I truly feel that this is a bait and switch action and advise everyone who already has a policy, and anyone considering signing on, to double check what is really covered. I am retired and I feel like I've been "had".

I was very impressed with the Choice Warranty agent when I called. She was very professional. When I got a call from All Appliances Plano, the officer manager and the tech was great to work with as well. It did take two times to come and fix my dryer, but when he did get the part, John was excellent. He cleaned all the lint out of the dryer before he replaced the heating element. John explained in detail everything he was doing. This is the best investment that I have made and I recommend Choice Home Warranty to everyone who needs a home warranty service.

When I called to place the claim, the rep said it would take 4 hours or more for the plumber to contact me. It was less than that and a weekend date was set for the appointment. Originally it was set for the following Monday. The plumber called and asked if he could come on Saturday, and I said sure. It is the Christmas season and holidays and he wanted to make my time without water in my home shorter than necessary and have it for before Christmas.

I have had Choice Home Warranty for only a month. I had a dishwasher break and refrigerator leak. My claim was denied on my dishwasher because I was told the problems found couldn't have happen when my policy started. That being said, I felt lied to at the time I was sold the policy. READ THE FINE PRINT... Their sales and service reps will not tell you the truth. I specifically asked if an old appliance was to have problems, would it be covered; "of course, no questions asked". Which I have now found is a complete lie. After paying for the complete policy, I was offered 10% refund. Really!!! After having the policy for a month?
