    Sony cancelled my Black Friday order with no reason and refunded me only after the sale was over. Because of this, I couldn’t get the deal I originally paid for. This is unacceptable and shows very poor customer service. I will think twice before ordering from Sony again.

    Sony support is terrible, and that's being charitable. The support bot sucks and human support is no better. Too many hoops to jump through and the information they want is not always easy to provide. I just spent an hour chatting with support with zero success.

    Sony has absolutely appalling customer service. Their default response is to take absolutely zero accountability for faulty products and avoid warranty claims at all costs. Their warranty is just a ruse and they make every effort to refuse to stand behind the quality of their products. I will never buy a Sony product again and strongly recommend anyone considering a purchase to look elsewhere.

    I’m writing because I am extremely frustrated with my experience with my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. Under completely normal use, the swivel mechanism suddenly fell apart. I take very good care of my headphones, and this happened while I was using them exactly as intended. When I called Sony support, I was told this was not covered under warranty and that there was nothing that could be done. That was disappointing enough, but I tried to fix them myself — only to find that the screws were already completely stripped. That means I couldn’t even repair the headphones I paid a premium price for. Now they are totally unwearable.

    This has been a horrible experience from start to finish, and it feels like I paid for a premium product that failed way too soon, leaving me with nothing. I would like Sony to do something to make this right — whether that’s a partial refund, credit toward a replacement, or another form of resolution. I have always trusted Sony for high-quality products, and I hope you take this seriously and respond appropriately.

    I sent in my new turntable to be fixed because it was still under warranty. When they FedExed it back to me, not only was the box crushed, but the turntable was in pieces. Sony made me an offer which was not acceptable, when I told them the reasons, they simply answered me back with the exact same offer, as if they never heard a word I'd said. After that they didn't get back to me. Typical of large corporations who care only for their own convenience instead of their clientele.

    I contacted Sony customer support regarding my noise-canceling earbuds. The first representative I spoke with was very helpful, courteous, and professional. However, when the issue was escalated to a manager, the experience was extremely disappointing. The manager’s tone was authoritative, dismissive, and made me feel as though assisting me was a favor rather than a responsibility to a customer. This level of professionalism is unacceptable for a company like Sony. Experiences like this make me reconsider my loyalty, and I will strongly look at Apple or Bose before purchasing Sony products again. I encourage Sony management to hire and train the right people to represent the brand and treat customers with the respect they deserve.

    The worst customer service there is. Even though the game is 100% faulty, laggy, stuttering, Playstation will NOT give any refund. I'm done with PlayStation, they don't care about their customers. Time to move to PC, which has way better customer service and way better price.

    Lost access to my account and Sony won't help recover because I never made a purchase on this account through Playstation. I created this account to start a new profile for a game as a teenager and never used it again until recently when I bought Sony branded headphones. This is the most anti-consumer company out there. It took a solid 30 minutes between trying to find a way to contact them and fighting with there AI chat bots to get in-touch with someone just to get screwed over. Not worth the time to buy the products regardless of how good the products are.

    Like many others, you can not send them a simple email to get a straight answer to your problem, you have to use complicated means and give them lots of infos about you that are not necessary for them to answer your very simple question.

    Purchased Sony Walkman NWWS413BM in July 2023. It died (would not power on) in March 2024. Sony sent me instructions to ship it back at no charge to me and sent me an upgraded replacement, the NWWS623B. It, too, died (same problem) in less than a year. Sony uses the original purchase date, so there was little to no warranty on the replacement. They recommended I pay for repairs. Given my experience--two Sony Walkmans lasting less than a year each--I have no interest in repairing this Walkman as I have no confidence in Sony products in general and their Walkmans in particular.

    Bought a Sony Camera 4 months ago. While changing the battery out noticed that the door would not close. Sent back in for repairs. Sony wanted to charge me $240 for the door not closing on the camera and said it was not covered under their warranty because the camera was damaged. If you can damaged the product by simply changing the battery out then this is a very cheaply made camera that is very overpriced for what you get. I will never buy another Sony product again and advise everyone to do the same. There are much better quality cameras out there.

    Worst customer service and products are poor quality. Purchased a $1000 soundbar to have an issue with it 4 months into ownership due to a faulty/cracked auxiliary port that unknown to me has been causing audio issues since I’ve owned it. Had to argue to finally send in pictures for them to say they will not cover under warranty because of “physical damage”. Absolutely the worst experience I have had with a company and I am glad I do not use a PS5. NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A SONY!

    I have a defective Sony DVD player. It never worked. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get any help from Sony since you just get connected to a TOTALLY USELESS VIRTUAL ASSISTANT - i.e a ROBOT. I am sick and tired of dealing with these totally ridiculous robots and will no longer buy from any company that insists on using them. With Sony, it doesn't make any difference if you call, text, or chat. IT IS THE SAME ASININE IDIOCY.

    Had a pair of their over ear noise cancelling headphones just for travel, that I have used maybe 25 times. Both sides of the headphones right above the hinge point had massive cracks in them, and after the last flight taking them out the piece completely snapped off. Product has a known defect, which I saw from 100s of other reviews, yet Sony won’t replace them. Will never buy another Sony product, and will make sure to let everyone I know not to buy their garbage headphones.

    I purchased a radio and it came with a power cord that didn’t fit in the socket on the side. I reached out to Sony and over the course of several weeks and four or five phone calls and literally hours trying to explain the problem to an employee, they had me returned at three different times and each new unit arrived with the wrong cord or should I say the same wrong cord I just gotten off the phone where they’re suggesting I sent it to them a fourth time and I told them that it’s time for them to send it to me and if it’s the right corner, I’ll keep it and return the bad unit.

    They do not care about their customers. I’ve been told that the cord is no longer made, That I have the right cord and order, that the unit is no longer manufactured and there’s nothing they can do for me so obviously they can’t get their story straight, but I’ve been buying so many products since the time Sony was first introduced to the US market and I’m done And I’m leaving a review that reflects that they no longer stand behind their products and I’ll move on to a different brand for future purchases.

    Update ruined battery life and customer support was impossible to get ahold of. I will never consider a Sony product again. And now I have to use at least 200 characters to describe how a company will create an update to make products less than a year old obsolete. Apple did it and now Sony is doing it.

    Do not buy these headphones. Broke at the slider near the hinge. Contacted Sony to warranty them. No dice. They claim it broke from an impact. Their engineers have been hiding this defective for years. I did a little research to find that 100s of other have same issue and Sony sweeps it under the rug.

    I bought the Sony TV and when I turned it on it was defective, I called Sony customer service they were not helpful at all stating they don’t cover physical damage. However there were no visible physical damage done to the tv. It was the internal screen that was defective. I paid over 3K for this TV which was completely not worth it. It was a very poor customer service provided to me. I would not recommend anyone to buy this any products from Sony.

    I will NEVER EVER buy a Sony product, customer service are charlatans that lead you to believe that they are there to help you and NEVER HELPS you. My claim is for a simple Blu ray player that lasted less than 8 months, so glad that I did not get anything more expensive, this afternoon is going to the trash. I don't have the patience to deal with this clowns anymore. By the way, they actually asked me to return it to Amazon cause it would be "easier"...

    I recently had a frustrating experience with Sony's customer support that left me very disappointed. I reached out for assistance with a technical issue regarding my Sony TV and the entire process was a hassle from start to finish. First, it took an unusually long time to get connected to a representative. Once I finally did, the support agent seemed uninterested and unhelpful, often giving generic responses that didn't address my specific problem which was both time-consuming and frustrating.

    To make matters worse, the resolution offered was inadequate, and it felt like the representative was more interested in ending the call quickly than actually helping me resolve my problem. Despite multiple follow-ups, my issue remains unresolved. As a long-time Sony customer, I expected much better service and support. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider my loyalty to the brand. I hope Sony takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer support in the future.

    The most horrible product I have ever purchased Bravia XR-7780K. Powerly designed engine running on Google. I cannot even easily connect with my Windows PC. They keep insisting that it only does so with Mac. I wish I bought other brands less complex than this one. It doesn't deserve even a star.

    Bought a PS5, updated, restarted, all that jazz. Game kept crashing. Tried installing two other games, kept crashing. Returned the PS5 no problem, Sony would not refund the game which was obviously crashing due to faulty equipment. Chat does not reply. Products are trash.

    Sony produce the worst quality TV and has most terrible customer service I’ve ever experienced. I bought a brand new TV and the internet connection is constantly interrupted despite all other devices including my 10 year old Samsung TV works perfectly fine. After talking to their technician their conclusion is Sony TV must be placed within 5 meters apart from WI-FI router. I’m renting a unit of the house and how could it be possible to ask my landlord to move the router into my suite? It’s 2024 and I can’t image such modern TV has this weird restriction. They even refuse to send a technician to check the TV. I’ll never buy Sony product anymore! Highly recommend NOT purchasing any product from such company that never care about the customers!!!

    I bought a 70" Sony TV directly from Sony Corp. After a few years, TV GUIDE was no longer available. When I called Sony, they said the TV guide was no longer available from certain years of manufacturer. I will no longer buy any Sony tv from now on.

    My 65” Sony TV malfunctioned after only 2.5 years due to a defective panel. Because Sony doesn’t manufacture replacement parts for panels, I need to purchase a new TV. Sony customer service leaves much to be desired. It took me at least three phone calls to get to the right department. After spending an additional $165 on a service call as required by Sony, it was brought to my attention by Sony that Sony is able to perform diagnostics on their products over the phone. They’ve offered me a discounted replacement product however no one is able to tell me what the extended warranty would cost and the online reviews for such are terrible. That said, I’ve decided to purchase a new television through an alternate source and my original purchase of $3000 2.5 years ago is now costing me $6000.

    Sony has decided to force pc players into account linking with PSN to play a game purchased 3 months ago. Unfortunately while they sold the game in 200 countries psn is only available in 69. They have violated EU trade laws by changing their eula after the announcement. Sony thinks you as the consumer are a product not a person and you have no rights or standing with them. Corporate greed.
