My experience is horrible!! I bought the Hurston Luxury queen size mattress. It looked like it was sank down in the middle as soon as it delivered!! The first night

I slept on it, My back was killing me!!!! The only place I can lay on the bed is on the edges. They claim "Stearns in the top of the line" That is not true!!!! I paid 2,000.00 and I am very disappointed!!!! They should refund my money and give me a free mattress!!!!

This company provides Stearns and Foster, Sealy, and Tempur-Pedic mattresses. This company is the most unethical, dishonest business that I have encountered. I purchased a Stearns and Foster (S&F) mattress. The mattress was defective and literally fell apart. The springs ripped through the material and were sticking out of the mattress. After much time and much back and forth with S&F S&F finally agreed to replace my defective mattress which was still under warranty. S&F told me they would replace my mattress which was no longer available with the then current model that was equivalent to my defective mattress. However, as a precondition of giving me that to which I was legally entitled (replacement of my defective under warranty), S&F blackmailed me into signing a general release.

This release signed away all rights I would have had against S&F, including the damage to my back resulting from having to sleep on exposed mattress springs. S&F refused to replace my defective mattress unless I signed the general release. S&F told me that the replacement mattress was the then current model that was equivalent to my defective mattress. This was outright fraud. My defective mattress was a high end mattress. I learned later that the replacement mattress was a cheap model and was absolutely NOT the then current model that was equivalent to my defective mattress. I have emails from S&F confirming that the cheap replacement mattress was not the equivalent model to my defective mattress and that a higher end mattress was the the then current model that was equivalent to my defective mattress.

When I contacted S&F about their fraud, S&F replied that there was nothing I could do because I had signed the general release, regardless of the fact that I had signed it under duress and based upon S&F's fraudulent representations. I highly recommend that you stay as far away as you can from Stearns and Foster, Sealy, and Tempur-Pedic mattresses. As far as I am concerned, the company ripped me off and committed fraud.

It is my individual, personal, subjective belief that I was ripped off by this company and that this company committed fraud. Therefore, it is my individual, personal, subjective opinion and belief, that the company is incompetent, dishonest, and/or unethical. The foregoing review solely provides my individual, personal, subjective opinions, beliefs, and interpretations. We bought our Stearns & Foster pillow top about 2 years ago. The sagging is horrible and so are the back aches. Bought it through Raymour and Flanigan furniture store. They sent a Stearns and Foster inspector to our home. Said the indentation was only 1 inch and we needed another 1/2 inch to qualify for a new mattress.

3500 for this piece of junk! So now until it gets worse, we are sleeping in separate rooms so ONE of us can sleep on the "better" half. Imagine that? Also the mattress weighs prob 300 lbs (estimate). Heavier than you can even imagine. Had a very hard time getting it up into our room and turning it is not easy. They had to use huge ties and fold the mattress totally in half (the 2nd crew the 2nd day) to get it up the stairs. A bad choice from day one. We do not want to EAT 3500! So we are hoping the indentation will get worse sooner than later and have the inspector come back. Hope this helps ONE person! Do not buy this mattress! We are open for suggestions, possibly a Casper mattress next.?

Unfortunately, my experience is terrible. I paid good money for faulty product and the WORST thing about it is that they won’t do anything to rectify the situation. The mattress has either broken springs and/or faulty foam top application but it has been bad since two weeks after I bought it. I sleep alone on it and cannot sleep as you can feel the lumps!!! No other way to say it!!! I have called, emailed and no response. Why can I pay full price and they not stand behind their product? That is poor service to say the least. I want this fixed!! Who will help me?

It's hard to believe that the first expensive mattress that we now CAN afford is the worst one we've ever owned! This seemingly well built, plush mattress is nothing but a fake. It sags in each area with my husband and I, we are not heavy. And the sag stays. What's worse is the aching in our backs that never goes away throughout the day. We dreaded going to bed!! It's as if every pressure point that is supposed to be supported does exactly the opposite. THAT is how bad this bed is.

It also looks like after less than 2 years, we lost our money. The warranty program seems hopeless based on others' reviews. I'm so frustrated because this thing weighs a ton, and my husband is very strong. It's impossible to move around. I tried to flip it hoping we could get relief. Mistake.. I looked up how to remove the pillow top but what a pain in the **. $2700 down the drain... It's not like mattresses sell great secondhand to recover some of our investment. My husband got this at Macy's. Save your money and go elsewhere!

I wish I had returned this to Macy's within the short window after my purchase. I bought the Lux Estate queen size mattress and after 6 months it's so uncomfortable, it's sagging terribly, in the middle and the edges. I'm around 115 lbs. It's been 9 months now, I hate it and I hate sleeping on it. I'm considering trashing it and buying a TempurPedic. I would rather just take the $2,000 loss in exchange for one good night's sleep. And by the way, the warranty only works if the sag is one and a half inches and not from the tuft... Disappointed in Naples.

I can't believe this $3,500 bed started sagging on the sides less than a year into our purchase. My husband and I have been suffering with back issues since and finally decided it needed to go. It's become unbearable. Don't buy this mattress. It's expensive and, especially at this price-point, it should not be noticeably sagging less than a year into use. Save your back!

What a disappointment. 3k on a new mattress that we were so excited about. We purchased it from Nebraska Furniture Mart. 7 months into it, and I find we are sleeping upstairs in the guest room on our old mattress. The Stearns and Foster is indenting (and we are nowhere near heavy people) where we sleep. It is buckling up in the middle. The only way we get a DECENT nights sleep is if it is one person in the bed and someone sleeps on the middle part. Beyond waste of money, and huge mistake purchasing this. Would advise anyone to go another route.

The comfort & feel of our new mattress is well beyond our expectations. We took back our mattress of 3 months, as it was way too soft for a firm that we received. We exchanged it for a exceptionally real firm. Sleep is wonderful on our new Stearns & Foster mattress, Thank You to Furniture Row for the exchange.

We rolled around on the mattress in the store, checked the price and decided immediately that we want to take it home. The hard part was waiting to have it delivered. A Stern and Foster Mattress is a very durable comfortable mattress. You can but don’t have to flip it over occasionally for added comfort. The best money can buy! We love our mattress.

This mattress is over 3 years old, still in great shape. Cleans well too. Stearns & Foster brand meant nothing until I slept on one of their mattresses. I'll never purchase another mattress outside of Stearns & Foster. Mine is a medium soft Pillow Top.

Stearns and Foster is the gold standard in mattresses. The experience from initial contact to the 1st night’s sleep unparalleled. They are professional, courteous and you definitely get a lot of bang for your buck, as their mattresses tend to pricey but the quality is amazing!

I bought a floor model from Macy’s - 1st mistake. My mattress was lumpy and terrible the first night I slept on it. Because I bought the floor model, there was no warranty. I tried to reason with them that the mattress was a lemon, and I wanted to return it. No one budged. This was a VERY expensive mattress that is barely worth a dime. Stearns & Foster mattresses aren’t what they say they are.

We bought a King sized Mattress and Box Springs at Costco in March 2018. The Mattress is a Stearns and Foster and was not cheap ($1100). Within 9 months the mattress developed visible divots where my wife and I slept and we were waking up with back pain. We just removed the mattress and were forced to replace it. We have not went thru the warranty process yet, but from the other reviews, I am not hopeful of recovering any compensation for this extremely poor mattress.

We purchased the Stearns & Foster, Southerly 11 mattress. Mattress sags on both ends and rises in the middle making sleeping very uncomfortable. We purchased the product from HBC. We tried to get the issue fixed through the warranty program with no luck.

Luxury mattress at a reasonable price through Macy's. The Pillowtop compresses and is smoother and firmer after a few months than it first feels in the store, for me that is a plus but don't expect the pillowtop cushiness to last forever. Overall I am happy with the quality but I see knock offs at Costco for about 2/3rds of what I paid. Hard to know if what's inside is as good as the real thing! Time will tell.

My mattress is a firm pillow top mattress. I love it. My only complaint is that it is very heavy. I would not be able to move it on my own. I have had this mattress for six years. I have not noticed any sign of deterioration. It is the best mattress I have ever slept on.

I have had this mattress for over 20 years and it is still just a comfortable as the day we bought it. Of course we were over the road truck drivers so it only got used when we were home and after we retired (9 years ago). It is a double pillow top and I have regularly turned and flipped it and it still is the same. Of course this mattress wasn't cheap but well worth the $2100 we spent for it 20 years ago.

We purchased a Stearns and Foster mattress 3 years ago and are already having problems with it sinking down around the middle back area area. I called them out and we didn't qualify because their string test didn't show the dent. Clearly if they laid on it, they would know exactly what we're talking about. Both my husband and I have terrible back problems and this mattress is doing nothing but making it worst. Problem is we don't have another $3500 to purchase another mattress. I have had mattresses for 10 years and never had this problem. Their warrantly is worthless. At one times Stearns and Foster was the top of the line.... Well, not anymore. I will never buy another Stearns and Foster mattress ever again....What a rip off this company is.

After 18 years of owning a Stearns & Foster mattress, we decided to purchase another one and after 4 months of owning it, it looks like our 18 year old mattress with full body indents and a big hump in the middle. Went to the Sealy website to file a warranty claim since it’s only 16 months old but they make it such a pain in the ** to file a claim I gave up. We will NEVER purchase another stearns & Foster mattress, so disappointing to spend over 3,000.00 and have a piece of garbage. DON’T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON POOR QUALITY.

In the past I have always purchased Sealy Posturepedic pocket coil mattress sets, decided to try the Stearns and Foster Bittersweet 2.0 Tight top. Both my husband and I over the first month experienced at different times a stiff sore lower back once awake. Now it's constant, it's as if there is no spring or floating effect as with my Sealy. If there are pocket coils in this mattress, they are very deep down and a thick layer on top that just feels like we are sleeping on a big bag of hard packed sand. Very disappointed.

Recently purchased a high end hybrid Stearns and Foster mattress. Assured by salespeople that the mattress would alleviate my hip and shoulder pressure point pain issues. Unfortunately the mattress did nothing to alleviate pressure points, instead caused major pain points, so bad I have to take pain medication nightly to try and stop some of the pain so I can sleep. I should not have spent thousands on this mattress, very disappointed with purchase.

I purchased a Stearns and Foster king size bed from Sears a little more than a year ago. I was told at the time that it was the best bed that was on the market. The mattress started to cave in on both sides of the mattress. I filed a claim with Sears. They had me take all kinds of pictures and send it to them. The frame, the box springs, and the mattress itself. With a ruler and a string I needed to show them how deep the indentations were. Because of the top sponge top, it only showed a 1/2 inch. They closed my case saying I didn’t meet the requirements of 1 1/2 inches. If the top foam sponge was not there, the indentations would be more than that. My wife and I have constant back pains which we didn’t have before. Do not buy this product!

I received a Stearns & Foster king mattress as a gift which started to fail within the first year (both sides of the mattress sagged leaving a very high ridge down the center). I called customer service and they would not deal with me saying I wasn't the original owner since it was a gift, even though the mattress was delivered new directly to me. Bottom line is that the Stearns & Foster mattress is of very low quality and their customer service is the worst! Stay away from Stearns and Foster!

Our Stearns & Foster G.S. Exclusive River Place Luxury Plush mattress failed us in under 2 years but because we had a kid who had an accident that the mattress cover didn't prevent, we couldn't file a claim. I watched a DIY video on repairing sags in your mattress and thought I'd give it a whirl. There is nothing but cheap foam in this thing. No wonder it failed!! We paid a LOT for this mattress. I feel duped. We're going to salvage the springs and buy some memory foam online because we can't afford another mattress. This is terrible! Please, someone do an investigative report on this company.

How is it that these frauds are still in business? How? Can anyone explain it??? Since they delete and block any non favorable reviews on their social media and their website they can't do it here! Thieves not allowing negative reviews! My mattress sank like the Titanic within 3 weeks and it was a luxury firm and I am a small person! Absolutely disgusting. Takes a real special kind of character to deceive and rip off the public..I mean what kind of industry has inspectors for their products? They obviously know how bad their products are! They are cheap foam. Just absolute garbage! Thousands amongst thousands of similar complaints! Where is the class action lawsuit!?!? It's a win win. Someone please get on it!

All these companies should be shut down!! They've become used car salesmen! Ripping people off, selling defective products and doing everything under the sun to avoid warranty complaints! Everyone please fight the warranties. They make it difficult on purpose so you don't bother and they win and continue to line their pockets with your money! Keep at it and don't let them get away with the deception! You don't see ALL the negative reviews for a reason! They are all deleted and hidden!

Purchased in 2013 with high expectations based on reputation, research and the high-end feel of this mattress. We were very disappointed to see it developed channels in the sleeping positions within 2 years. We are not huge people, 210 and 135 pounds each! Flipping it does little good, simply runs the trench more evenly across the length of the bed. It dips at least 1.5 inches from center to lowest point, but very hard to tell because of tufting pillow top. We didn't have the energy to try and fight a warranty battle. Definitely not buying another from S&F.

I bought a Stearns & Foster mattress at the Bay on sale in 2016, thinking I was getting a quality mattress at a good price. The mattress edge almost immediately started to sag, and when I contact the Bay I was told to add supports to my bed frame. I did what I was advised to do, and put up with the saggy mattress for three years before deciding that it was not acceptable. I contacted their customer service department and was then told that I had voided my warranty by not putting MORE supports under the box spring. I checked and in small print the warranty described the need for additional support for queen and king sized mattresses, but the website also claimed that their mattresses would work with any quality bed frame.

Canada's competition board has fined the Bay for false advertising concerning mattresses. I feel I was duped by them, but I also feel duped by Stearns & Foster. In my opinion it goes without saying that a good quality mattress and box springs should work with a good quality bed frame without my having to rebuild the base with slats and solid surfaces. I just checked the warranty information on Naturepedic and if the consumer uses their foundation, then the mattress is considered to be adequately supported. What is wrong with the Stearns & Foster foundation that the consumer has to add a custom built foundation to the foundation?

Purchased this mattress in 2011 and about 6 months after use it developed "dips" where each of us sleep. We are not overweight people. Contacted Sleepys where we purchased. They said, "Get in touch with Stearns and Foster." I haven't pursued this but just turned the mattress again and it looks awful. Considering a memory foam topper but not sure it will do any good. Also I do not know how to submit a claim or if it would do any good.

Bought a Stearns and Foster in around 2000 and after 2 years developed dip in middle. Warranty people came out and replaced bed with brand new bed. New bed lasted about another 2 years before another dip developed. I am 6 foot, 175 pound man. No abnormal wear and tear. Flash forward, 2018, I foolishly buy another Stearns and Foster, thinking worse that happens they replace. 9 months, NINE months, bed develops horrible dip. But this time they deliberately engineered it to have a way out of honoring warranty. They put hard plastic buttons on the surface of the bed and created divots. The divots make it hard to measure a "dip", and hard to define what a "dip" is... convenient.

Bad designed bed. But worse, company must know by now their product is defective and yet they keep selling to us sheep. I wish the entire management staff of Stearns and Foster to sleep on their products!!! Horrible bed. I will NEVER buy another Stearns and Foster. Some class action lawyer or Attorney General really ought to go after them. False advertising, false product. Total rip-off.
