    Purchased two sofas online after seeing them in store in Winchester VA. Was assured they would be delivered on an evening or a Saturday multiple times. Paid for the sofas with my card. When came time to set up delivery they wanted me to be home for a 12-hour window and not on a weekend. I am a teacher and cannot leave during the day nor can I take a day off due to cancer treatments using up my sick days. Eventually I had to ask for a refund. 5 days and still hasn't processed. They have my money I have no couches, and I am trying to get this done before I have surgery. The lady processing the refund has been very rude. Will never use my bobs again. Still haven't received my 2100.00 back at all. Doesn't take this long to take the money from me but takes weeks to return? Nope.

    I am absolutely delighted with the wee reclining chair I bought for my grandson—he loves it! The style and quality are superb, and the fabric is perfect, especially the dog print I chose. Most importantly, your delivery system was outstanding. The up-to-date notifications kept me well informed at every stage, and the delivery staff were courteous and professional in every way.     Order stuff. They didn't have it on hand. Kept telling me they had it on hand but it never shipped. Delivery day kept changing for 3 weeks straight. Kept saying let's be delivered any day now. Make sure you see what you're buying before you think you're buying it.

    Updated on 01/08/2025: I put 1 star but actually they deserve 0. Warehouse staff are like daycare babies, can't find address with GPS. For the first time - wrong couch,, for the second time - could not find parking with GPS.

    Original review: Irresponsibility, rush, delivering wrong item. Had to leave my job earlier in order to get a couch of a different color. Also couch wrapped only in a plastic bag, can be damaged easily while sliding on the floor. I needed this item for the New Year. Bob’s furniture ruined my holiday. Service quality 0.

    I purchased a power reclining sofa— which is actually a power loveseat attached to a power reclining chair— in September of 2023. I was talked into purchasing the extended warranty, called Goof Proof, which extends the warranty for 4 years, for a total 5 year warranty, at a cost of $250. First, we were told the rock like Bob-o-pedic cushions would soften with use. Well, I guess 2 years is not enough time, because the cushions are still hard.

    Second, on December 28, 2025, the reclining mechanism on the chair side of the sofa broke. The sofa on that side was stuck in the (mostly) up position. Now the nightmare began…the process to file a claim is bogged down in bureaucratic slow downs to frustrate customers so they throw the furniture out and not pursue the claim. On November 28, the reclining mechanism on the chair side of the sofa broke. The sofa was in the (mostly) full up position. I checked the connections and outlet. All were tight and power was in the outlet. I used a search engine and found a YouTube video produced for Ashley Furniture that suggested that the switch was bad.

    I filed a claim on line on that day with the Goof Proof warranty administered by Guardian. Their offices were closed for the holiday (Thanksgiving) weekend. So, I called on Monday, December 1 to be sure the on line claim was received. On Friday, December 4 a virtual technician called and he had me show him via the camera on my smartphone the sofa. He had me crawling on my knees to check wires and switches and motors. After 20 minutes of this exercise he determined that it was the switch.

    I assumed the part would be ordered that day or the following Monday. Instead, on Tuesday, December 8 I receive an email that a technician with Bob’s would come out on Friday, December 11. He determined that the switch and perhaps the motor were bad. On Monday, December 22 I received an email advising that the part was ordered. I have not received the part as of this writing… 5 weeks without a fully operational sofa. Once I receive the part I need to contact the warranty company who then will contact the third party company to schedule a technician to come out to my home and install the part.

    All the while the staff customer care/resolution unit from Bob’s, though mostly polite and professional, do not care. As one supervisor advised me, I need to be patient— the process works, but not at the pace I want. I would add that it is not at the pace anyone would want. This is the last piece of furniture I will buy from Bob’s Discount Furniture.

    I made a purchase from Bob's and used their financing option for the 12 months no interest. I reviewed my account two weeks after the delivery and found they had charged an additional $91.68 to my account. I have reached out to them three times now and customer service cannot do anything for me to help correct this error. The finance company cannot do anything as they are only the finance company. I am getting the run around and I blame Bob's since they are the one that submitted the sales transaction on my account and they are totally unwilling to help. I will never purchase from Bob's again and I will tell anyone who will listen, that it is not worth it to buy anything from them.

    The customer service is very bad. I was told I would have to my furniture in 4 week turned out to be eight weeks from when I purchased. I called to get compensated for the wait and I was told there is nothing they could do.. I will never purchase from this company again!

    If you’re looking for a sofa that completely breaks down after three months, Bob’s Furniture is the store for you. We bought two couches from Bob’s last year and should have sent them back immediately after delivery, because they felt nothing like the ones we sat on in the showroom. The display models were nice and firm. What arrived at our house was squishy, with corners so soft they threatened to swallow you whole if you dared to sit down.

    Instead of trusting our gut, we were ridiculously hopeful and assumed we just needed time to “adjust” to them. Spoiler alert: we did not. A year later, both couches are completely broken down and genuinely uncomfortable to sit on. To be fair, they still look great—at least from a standing position. Unfortunately, since sofas are meant to be sat on, that doesn’t do us much good. I recently came across our receipt and was mildly horrified by how much we actually paid for them. Please do better, Bob’s.

    I went to the one in Wharton, NJ. This might seem unbelievable but here's my experience. They deliver my couch on 12/6/25. 2 pieces in the set were the wrong ones. Again, after speaking with customer service 8 times, they said they had the right parts coming. Over a week later, they "delivered again", but they were the wrong parts also. Fast forwarding to today 12/22/25. They had one of the 2 parts that needed to be replaced and said they have no record of the other. Now I have to wait again until 1/17/26 for the next delivery, which has a high probability of them screwing this up too. This is stupidity at its finest! I've been on a customer service call with them 30 times in 3 weeks, and they still can't get a simple thing correct! This is a ridiculous company that shows 0% professionalism! I advise you look elsewhere, it's not worth the headache!

    Missing pieces… spent $12000 on furnishing my home.. Did this based on 20 years ago I spent $9000 on their stuff which lasted me this long so I figured why not, it's a no brainer… I was VERY WRONG!!! Poor routing logistics. Some of these people need to learn how to cube a truck.. Load your largest load on first, fill rest of truck with lesser stops. But no this did not happen so when it came to my pieces they ran out of room, stuck it on another truck. Which in turn went to a different area.. Driver ran out of DOT hours so “ME“ the customer gets SCREWED!!! Thank you Bob!!!😑😑😑

    Terrible!!!! Worst customer service ever! Tried to a replacement remote for the elite bed base. Told me it was in stock and would have it within two weeks. I called two weeks later and told me another three weeks. Called tonight and it is going to be another month!!! What the heck. I told them to cancel my order. That is another ordeal, it takes five business days to cancel your order and someone has to call me. No updates as to when I will receive my money. Stay clear from the company. Still waiting on my money 12/18/2025. Completely stressed out from them! You have to beg them and placed on hold countless times!!!!

    Run away do not buy from Bob's, there's a reason it's cheap. The couch I purchased started falling apart in under a year then they refused to honor the one year warranty. Cheap crappy furniture and the absolute worst customer service.

    Never in a million years would you expect a store to give out your personal information to a stranger because she wanted it. She and her child squeezed between the salesperson, my friend, our two dogs and then say my dog bit her which is lie since my witness saw no sign of blood or anything - there was a scratch - from where could have been there or from her own mother stroking her leg - Then I left it was no longer a joyful trip to buy furniture.

    I left and the manager gave my phone number to this woman - PATRIOTS ACT PRIVACY - if you value your privacy do not give them your info. They will just use it without any authorization to share it. Now my dog who the Animal Control person said he found it hard to believe my dog is so chill - that she has to be quarantined and I have to pay for it. What kind of crap is that from Riverside County. This woman took her child to urgent care. Believe it or not no blood, no bite, a scratch - I wonder if they would have amputated her arm if a cat scratched her - why would anyone risk having their information shared without your knowledge or consent. Oh and no one from Bob's even though they were made aware have reached out to me at all. Guess I need an attorney to teach them and the manage a lesson on obeying federal law.

    Absolute RIP OFF. I spent $6500 on my purchase. Also bought the Goof Proof BS Insurance. They screwed me over. The table is falling apart. The rug unravels where it’s walked on the most and the sectional I ordered from the floor model was a piece short upon delivery, but they refused to give me the missing piece. They replaced the rug with another one that does the same thing but won’t do anything about the defective replacement. Zero stars for this place.

    When I tried placing an order for pickup at the Piscataway, NJ location it showed my item was in stock. Then I get an email saying to schedule the pickup and the address changed to a Connecticut location which wasn't what the website showed. I got in contact with customer service, the agent on the phone told me I'd have to pick it up in CT(it's more than a 3 hour drive from where I live). I told him it's not an option and this isn't my fault at all if the website is misleading. He offered the choice of it getting delivered and the threshold delivery fee waived, I accepted. This agent made sure he had the right address by asking me to spell it out letter by letter, which I DID 3 TIMES, and then after this I get an email with a receipt and HE WROTE THE ADDRESS WRONG.

    I called again and explained the issue, this time a woman answered and told me I CAN'T CHANGE ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE AND I HAVE TO GO TO A PHYSICAL LOCATION WITH MY ID???? So I decided to go to the Piscataway location only to find out that the service staff there have never heard of anyone from your company to ask a customer to do this. Fortunately, the staff at the front desk were very nice and helped me resolve the issue and they called the CT location to change the address, all is fine. UNTIL I get a phone call an hour later saying the item is now apparently not in stock and I HAVE TO WAIT 3 MONTHS TO GET IT. WTF.

    AT this point I've wasted 3 hours of my time and had to take time off work to go to the location to only end up having nothing at the end, only my time wasted and my money being charged from my account which STILL HASN'T BEEN RETURNED YET AFTER 3 DAYS. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I will never buy anything from this company again.

    They fraudulently claimed they delivered all furniture and did not. They will not deliver as scheduled and will not refund. I do not want a partial set of furniture. The delivery people delivered a partial order and sped off. When I call or chat I am told they understand I am frustrated but cannot resolve the issue.

    Never buy furniture here. We purchased the food proof protection. It is literally the worst warranty that has ever existed. Buyer beware. They make you do a virtual meeting with a technician, take forever to respond just to not be able to fix your broken furniture.

    I ran into countless issues with this company about five years ago. I can see that absolutely nothing has changed and it’s still a piece of crap company. I had a credit with this company because I couldn’t get the furniture I ordered years ago so I was giving them a second chance and went to purchase a recliner. I specifically asked several times if the item was in stock, was given a specific delivery date and miraculously when I attempted to check on the delivery online, my customer order number Was not valid. When I called in, I was told that the item was out of stock and another long delivery with the same cycle and the same crap they pulled years ago. The ONLY reason they got one star was for the very friendly personable sells people in the store. I feel bad that their income is affected because they work for such a crap ass company.

    If you need your items for the holiday season do not trust Bob's with your delivery or communications from them. No one calls to say anything. I yes a queen size bed on 29 October 2025. Today is 17 November 2025. First delivery date was the 4th of November then the 7th, 13th and then the 18th. Each time is a promise. No can give you an answer, just sorry. You’re better off buying your items from Amazon or your local furniture stores. To be safe look at other options.

    Worst company ever to deal with. Nothing is ever their fault and they treat their customers like total garbage. We replaced a sectional with a new sectional. Both were bought from Bob's. Salesperson stated our old sectional was considered a 3 piece. Delivery day came and the delivery guys stated are our old one was considered a 6 piece even though our new one was the same and considered a 3 piece. Confusing yes. They refused to take the old one away and told me to pick which 3 pieces we wanted removed. Telling me the other 3 pieces were my problem to deal with. Delivery drivers have no respect for your house and will do what they want.

    Spoke to customer service twice and they hung up because I refused to accept new delivery if they were not taking all the old pieces away. At the end of the day, they just don't care. Drivers said they had to get something out of their truck, and they took off. At this point I cancelled the order and went to a better company. Granted I paid twice as much, I am sure the quality will be much better. Don't shop at Bob's. They don't care about their customers.

    Our sales person was great and we purchased 3 items in June of 2025. A day bed, a dresser and a small sectional sleeper sofa for $799.00. The dresser and day bed are great. We purchased the extra Bob's Goof Proof warranty as they stated it covered one time pet damage and we have 2 cats. We went out of town for 3 weeks and came home to find that the cats' tore into the arm of the couch so we filed a claim immediately and it was denied as the warranty people said that the damage occurred over a period of time and was not reported in a timely fashion.

    We weren't here or we would have 1. Stopped the destruction and 2. reported it as soon as we could. We are basically out $799.00 now. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere and don't bother with a warranty that warrants nothing. I wish I would have read other reviews about the Goof Proof warranty as many people have stated they have had nothing but issues with trying to get items repaired.

    First, Bob's outsource all customer service to Mexico and Central America. Representatives do not comprehend English well. They continue to repeat themselves over and over. Bob's also has subcontractors as service tech! They all are unknowledgeable, unprepared, and unprofessional. They came to my home to repair my %800 recliner over 6 times. And it is still not operating correctly. Customer and supervisor try to minimize the issue. I will NEVER again purchase ANYTHING again from Bob's!!!!!!

    As they will tell you, once you leave the store, their job is done. Customer service sucks. There is no direct number for stores. Today is AT LEAST the 5th time they came to replace my couch since it was delivered in June and once again failed to do so. I have spent over 20 hours on the phone, at the store, driving back and forth for pick ups/deliveries that never occurred, etc. trying to get a couch replaced under their extra $500 "goof" warranty and it appears to be impossible, no matter who you talk to you or what they promise. I would NEVER purchase or recommend that anyone purchase anything from this place. Worst customer service ever, no matter how nice the customer service rep you speak to answers in whatever state they're in. One of the drivers today told me this happens all the time. Go somewhere else! ANYWHERE else!

    I ordered a bed set and dresser. The day of delivery, they send a team of ** that speak no English. After arriving half hr past the timeline given to me, and being late to work, they decided to leave because they came with a truck they claimed was too big to fit in my building's driveway. They clearly used the driveway as an excuse because they couldn't handle the work because they were already undersized and when I spoke to customer, they wanted to reschedule this same delivery for the following week!!! I canceled my order and plan on bringing my business elsewhere for for any furniture in the future.

    If I could give them zero, I would. They took our money, and we never received our product. They keep blaming the manufacturer but refuse to refund us. Every time we call, they have no answer and keep lying. One lie after another, they feed us bullshit every time, transfer us from one person to another, and say it will be a couple of days, then a couple more days, and nothing happens. It has been over six weeks and no product, no money back and no response. We went into the store three times call them multiple times and nothing. FedEx created a label but they are waiting for the product and no clear answers.

    This company is absolute garbage and their customer service is completely horrific. I can’t even find the actual words to describe what trash their customer service is. We paid 3K for a living room set, $250 white glove delivery service, for them to deliver my furniture with a bed bug on it. The delivery was late of course… So by the time I was able to contact the company regarding this bed bug their service center was closed… The customer service “help” (quotations here because there was no help whatsoever) received was that they’ll email me the CDC guidelines on how to treat a bed bug and reported this as a common issue.. And there’s nothing they can do. Clearly evident that I’m not the first customer to have this issue. We were informed that we were the 9th and final delivery of the day, so maybe you should educate your delivery service on bed bugs…

    My furniture was never sat on by my family and wasn’t even in my household for 2 hours and they refuse to replace my sectional, reporting that once there’s a bug reported they can’t do anything. So if this happens to you, I recommend lying, as you may have better luck than those honest people like myself. It’s evident that BOB's doesn’t care about their customers and I wish I knew better prior to my purchase. This is a complete and total nightmare as I am now out of furniture, $3,000, and the cost of a bed bug house inspection.

    Learn from my experience and DO NOT purchase from BOB's; when I asked how they would feel if this was affecting their family, the manager was silent. I bet their employees don’t shop at BOB's either. At this point we will be getting involved with legal action as we have readily available access to such. BOB's, do better; and if you’re not going to do better, rename your “white glove” delivery service to bed bug delivery service. Sincerely, a first and LAST time customer.

    I purchased the Virgo Brown two piece sectional back in 2023. The material used for construction is of poor quality. The cushions no longer have support and the springs to the sofa that support your weight are exposed. My attempts for the last five months to have Bob's Goof Proof to replace or repair the issues have been useless.

    Never again will I attempt to buy from Bob's. Rip off company. I had purchased a twin mattress, waited A week to go pick it up, they put it into my car and it was filthy. I told them no way I'm taking this. They didn't even care. Now I have to wait 10 days for refund. Thankfully Gardner white was having a sale and I ended up with a better mattress for the price. Bob's is downhill furniture store. Don't waste your time or money.

    Bad off-gassing in kids' loft beds, do not buy bedroom furniture here! They don't do returns either. Beds are 8 months old and no one can sleep in them. I'm afraid to resell them to anyone else. $2 grand for absolute garbage.

    Wish I could give zero stars. Bought this brand new and it was delivered to me with multiple CARVINGS in it, not scratches. Mind you, it was a huge hassle, even getting them to deliver it and it took over a month to set up a date. If you try to ask if there’s a certain window of the day they will arrive, they’re unable to give you that until the day of delivery…. That’s absolutely insane and I don’t know how people that work normal jobs and aren’t working home, schedule things like this? Because, it was extremely difficult for myself. Then when it arrives like someone took a knife to it in NINE different places?

    When I called to have this taken back, they were unable to that night and mentioned friday. I agreed to set it up Friday then they call saying they don’t have anything until 6 weeks…. So now I’m stuck with a carved in piece of furniture like someone was ** wood carving. I mean, they don’t call it discount for nothing; Absolute joke- I should’ve bought from Ikea and endured the annoyance of putting it together. You’re definitely better off buying furniture elsewhere.

    SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!! When they ask you to sign up for the 0% financing for 6 months through FORTIVA retail services- DO NOT SIGN UP FOR IT! I paid off my account in 4 months and was told as soon as I did I would be all set and the account would be closed and zeroes out. 1 year later FORTIVA had left the account open and charged me a $79 fee, then a $35 penalty for not paying within 30 days. When I called customer service to find out why I have a charge on a zero balance account, they refused to remove the charge and demanded I pay The annual fee before they would close the account, and if I did not they were going to report me to the credit agencies! So beware of the deceptive business practice here- and save yourself the hassle by avoiding the Bob's Discount Furniture "zero percent financing for 6 months" or you'll end up paying after it's paid off.

    Shop somewhere else- The furniture bought from there is shit anyway and their Goof Proof insurance is a scam too- They don't even honor the repairs if something is wrong and the one time I've dealt with them in the past where they did- They shipped us an electronic motor and told us to figure out how to install it ourselves on the couch seat that didn't work from the factory!

    I purchased my sofas from Bob’s Furniture less than a year ago along with their insurance plan, and I’m extremely disappointed. The seams are coming apart, the armrests feel loose and broken, and the cushions are sinking so badly that we had to put wooden boards underneath to support them. I filed a claim and it was denied, with the reason given as “wear and tear.” That’s unacceptable — it’s just my husband and me, no kids, and the furniture hasn’t even lasted a year. For comparison, I bought a sofa from Cook Brothers that lasted me over 10 years without a single issue. This is not the quality or customer service I expected. For the price and the promise of their insurance, I expected better. I strongly encourage anyone considering Bob’s Furniture to think twice and do their research before purchasing.

    I bought a modular set. One piece has a bed in it. We bought the mattress at Bob's for 300 dollars. That was.5 months ago. A few nights ago we went to use the bed. Pulled out the bed and on the under side of the mattress there is mold. Almost on the whole under side of the mattress. The top of the mattress is clean. Nothing wrong with that. So I called customer service. They told me the warranty only covers manufacturer defects. I have had the mattress for 5 months basically sliding it was my fault. It has never been used before. No one has dropped drinks on it. No one has done nothing. I will not be buying anything from Bob's.

    We went to Bob's Discount Furniture in June and purchased the Journey Power Reclining Sofa and Recliner. In less than two months, the power function on the recliner broke. They weren't able to get a service technician out until September, and he determined the entire piece would require replacement. The only issue was that we wouldn't be able to get the replacement until December. We opted to wait for the replacement. Last week, Bob's Discount Furniture called me attempting to get me to accept a store credit for the recliner rather than wait until December. I politely declined, because it is important to me to have a matching furniture set. He then called me back 15 minutes later to let me know that the recliner was actually no longer in stock, and Bob's would be offering me a refund in the form of store credit and return on the entire set.

    We went to our local store that evening and the employee/store manager informed us that the company that manufactures this set went out of business abruptly. Wonderful. This is a huge issue, considering this is a popular set that many people have purchased and will noc longer get a warranty replacement on. We browsed the store and noticed that the set we currently have is the only set like its kind in the price range we paid for it. All other similar sets were $500+ more expensive. I asked the manager if we would be able to get a card refund instead, as there were no comparable products to our original set, and she told me that this wasn't a possibility. We were essentially forced to go out of our budget for a different sofa set or forfeit $2300. We ended up spending $550 on a new set.

    As if this didn't frustrate me enough, the manager (who was indeed very kind) said "you'll like this set way better than the Journey set. A lot of people were having issues with the Journey set." If this is the case, why didn't Bob's pull this set from their showrooms so customers could avoid these problems? I'm just not happy at all with the entire scenario, and I certainly won't be shopping at Bob's again.

    Goof Proof isn’t worth purchasing. They will deny your claim. I paid too much money for multiple items to have extra protection and Goof Proof doesn’t honor their coverage. Do not purchase this garbage for better words. If I could give them zero stars I would.

    If I could give zero stars, I would. Bob’s pushes their “Goof Proof” warranty, but when we needed it, they refused to honor it—blaming us instead of a clear mechanical defect. We paid $375 for a replacement piece, only to receive one in a completely different color. Customer service gave us the runaround, and only after multiple calls did we learn the color was discontinued—something no one mentioned before we paid. Their solution? A $75 credit.

    I purchased living room and bedroom furniture from Bob's Discount Furniture store in Reno NV. They were very friendly and helpful in the store. However, when my order was delivered, I couldn't use the bed because they had neglected to include or sell me a necessary box spring. There were only 3 slats on the bed frame I received and if I had just placed the mattress on top, I would have woken up on the floor. The salesperson called and said the floor model he'd shown me had had extra slats, but the model I got wasn't the same. They offered to sell me a box spring for $165, but I had already ordered one from Amazon for less than half that. If they had corrected their mistake and provided the box spring gratis, which they should have done, I wouldn't be writing this review. This is not okay--delivering a product to me I can't use. I guess I'll be back on my air mattress again tonight. Consider other furniture retailers.

    Don't visit this brand!!! The furniture is beautiful but the services is something that you want to smack yourself!!! They promise delivery but this comes from another location, and they don't keep their word, lie and call you a liar.. I been waiting for my furniture and they keep moving the delivery window, they say 1 to 4, show up at 1230 so at this point who knows.. very disappointed at the decision of buying here.

    I was happy with the bed I purchased. I was talked into getting a Bob's credit card with no interest for a year. The bed was $2,000 and I paid about half the first year. To my surprise, I got over $500 interest on my last bill. I believed interest would start after a year. I went to my bank right away and was told even if it was paid all but a dollar, they would charge interest for the whole year, even from what I paid already. The interest was higher than all my other credit cards. I didn't even want another credit card. This was clearly a predatory scam. After filing a complaint with my bank and 2 months later, they returned about $375.00. From day one on the delivery customer service lied to me.

    They were 5 hours late on the delivery and they called me and said the truck broke down, causing them to be late. I asked the delivery driver and he said no breakdown occurred and he is the only delivery driver. This made me wonder what else they were lying about. Like I said, I like the bed and it was a fair price. I would like to warn others about the shady business practices. I hope this was not because I am a senior and looked like an easy mark. I am very surprised Wells Fargo would endorse such a business. I have banked with them for 9 years and have never had anything negative to say about them. In fact, it's the best bank that I have used in my 69 years of life.

    Unfortunately, there was a mistake in my delivery, which has caused significant inconvenience. When I contacted customer service, I was told that my request to have the furniture delivered on Saturday, August 30th could not be accommodated. Since the original error was not on my part, I feel strongly that Bob’s Furniture should make this right and work with me to arrange delivery on that date. I have been very happy with the sales experience in-store, especially with Darwin who was extremely helpful, but this delivery issue has been disappointing. I am asking that you please step in to resolve this matter fairly. Please confirm that my delivery will be rescheduled for Saturday, August 30th. I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

    My wife and I purchased a rug at Bob's Toledo, Ohio Store; we were told it had to be delivered; ok no problem. They did deliver it on the scheduled day but when we opened it up it was apparent it would not work for what we needed. (our mistake) We called about returning it to the store and was told no since it was delivered their truck would have to come pick it up. The only day they could come was two weeks away and we were scheduled to be out of town so they told us that it would be 6 weeks before they could come get it but when they picked it up we would receive a refund. Every time I contacted Bob's they could not find my account under our phone number but each time they finally did? Their system is messed up. 6 weeks later and it was picked up; but now 2 months later we have not received our refund and so I called their customer support and was told their accounting team would get back with me by the end of the week.... they did not!

    I called Monday of the next week and was put on hold for 20 minutes as they tried to figure out what was going on they said; then I was cut off and had to call again and begin the process all over: but in the middle of that call Macella from the earlier call returned my call and said they were trying to figure it out that it was really messed up. She said she would call me in 1 hour... so I am waiting.... This isn't complicated; you have had your merchandise back for over 60 days: it was in new condition-never used: and you've had my money for 5 months: just refund it! I would NEVER go to Bob's ever again.... to many other furniture places that I can go that have much better service. I have wasted too many hours trying to get my money back: customers deserve to be treated much better than this.

    August 10: Initial Purchase ($2,698.99) at the North Attleboro MA Bob's Discount Furniture. Hank the sales person said I will need to buy it that Sunday to receive store's discount of 188 USD. I bought it, with 188 dollar discount included. I also paid 299.99 dollars for Bobtastic White Glove Delivery. August 11: Bob's customer service texted me (no call) to tell me that I need to pay 188.00 for furniture to be delivered because they found that I am not eligible for the 188USD discount. After contacting corporate phone number, I was told I do not need to pay the extra fee and that they will resolve it with the local store. Aug 14th: Original planned delivery. Portion of the couch was delivered in grey, portion in brown. I purchased brown couch. Delivery people took portion of the couch back and told me to call the corporate office to 'figure it out'.

    Aug 14: I call the corporate office, they found the issue was with how Hank (the sales rep) entered the product specs and instructed that the correct couch will be delivered on August 18th. They also agreed that my 299.99 fee for white glove delivery will be refunded. That to this date has not occurred. I am still owed that refund. Aug 18th: Portion of the couch was delivered in the right color, but it was missing pieces. Delivery people told me to call the corporate number so I did. The help desk person said that I did not ordered that piece, it was after pushing them to review my order for almost an hour is where he found that I am in fact missing a piece of the couch. Another 1.5 hours on the phone. They were able to schedule my delivery for the missing piece for Aug 21st. I was put in touch with a supervisor, a manager was supposed to call me back within 24-48 hours, till now that call was not received.

    Aug 21st: I took the day off work to be home for delivery. They never showed up. I called and the person said that my delivery is now Aug 23rd. I asked again for a manager to call me but I did not hear back. Aug 22nd: I called again as I still have not heard back from the manager or received my 299.99 refund. For the business to have the audacity to say that this is resolved is ridiculous. I reported it to the BBB and they told BBB that the issue is resolved. I still do not have my whole couch, my refund and I still have not gotten a call back from the manager. For the business to have the audacity to say that this is resolved is ridiculous. There are many better places to get your furniture, do NOT get it here.

    I placed an order on July 31, 2025 for a bedroom set, a diningroom set and a couch and recliner. I paid for all items and the original delivery date was 8/7/25. I ended up needing a sectional sofa to be removed so I rescheduled the delivery for 8/14/25 to include the pick up of the sectional sofa at an additional cost of $212.00.

    I took the day off so I could be home for the delivery scheduled for 330-630pm. I received a call from the delivery driver and was told that he did not have new furniture but would be here to pick up the couch. I let him know that my new furniture was scheduled for the same time as the pick up so that set many calls to Bob's into motion. (Why would they pick up and not deliver?) I originally placed my orders online and based my choices heavily on the in stock status.

    While on a call with a Bob's associate trying to get my furniture delivered I learned that some of my items were not in stock at all, so they would need to bring a table with no chairs, but bedroom set and living room furniture was to come as originally planned. A request would be put in to get my furniture delivered tomorrow 8/15/25 (a day late) but there is no guarantee. This whole experience has been a nightmare from the beginning. I was unable to place my order online and had to enlist the help of an om BOB'S who tried to put it through so many times that it locked my bank card, from there it's continued to go downhill. 

    What in this world is going on with the incompetence at Bob's discount furniture. I never received any notice that my order was missing items, no call to see if a comparable item was available, no nothing! I am baffled at this entire situation and am filing a complaint with the BBB also. I have already paid for my order in full, BUT am planning to cancel and leave this story into every BOB'S DISCOUNT FURNITURE review I can find that exists in civilization.

    Ordered a couch, day bed (with trundle) and 4 rugs from Bobs. Everything came on time and the guys who put the furniture together was extremely nice, the trundle that goes under the day bed was missing a piece which was not a problem until I kept getting the run around on when the missing piece would be in. Now after a month later I get a call stating the piece won’t be in until after September. Customer service has poor communication and keeps giving me the run around. I will never order from here again especially knowing if one simple piece is missing. They take forever to get back to you for updates.

    I bought a sofa bed from Bob’s Furniture in Burbank, and it has been a huge disappointment. The mattress is extremely hard—so uncomfortable that no one in my household can sleep on it. It feels more like a wooden bench than a bed. I reached out to the store hoping to return or exchange it, but they completely refused to help. Their customer service was dismissive and offered no real solution, even though the product clearly doesn’t meet basic comfort standards. I expected better from a company like Bob’s. Sadly, I’m stuck with an expensive piece of furniture that’s unusable as a bed. I would not recommend shopping here if you’re looking for comfort or decent support after the sale.

    The delivery service and customer support is awful. I ordered my products and paid for white glove delivery on 20 July. They called me 21 July and scheduled delivery for Saturday 2 August. 2 August is here and I have not heard anything. I contact customer service who lies to me. First they tell me I was notified of the change to 20 August. I would not have agreed to a Wednesday delivery. I work and not at home on Wednesday. I get put on hold and now they tell me it was always the 20th. I know that to be a lie, not only because of the day of the week but as soon as the delivery was scheduled for 2 August, I notified multiple people of the date immediately and put it on my calendar to make sure I was home. I dislike being lied to, especially when I am paying extra for their supposed "white glove service".

    I had a delivery scheduled for 3:30-6:30 today. I noticed on the app they had the correct address but their destination mark was at the wrong address so I called in the morning to let them know. The guy said he would handle it and let the drivers know. Now 6:30 the driver calls me said he's at the wrong address and he's done his route for the day. Bob's customer service said they can’t reschedule for an entire week AFTER THEIR MISTAKE. I paid $100 for this service to be take advantage of and a big business like this should treat customers better. ** company.

    Order furniture. Did not come in time specified. Sales person Ivette would not take calls. Finally cancelled order and and wanted a credit since we paid with a credit card. They took forever to give credit. Then they did not give full credit. We went to store and manager agreed and put in the credit we were owed. We waited 20 days and did not receive credit. Called customer support. Well that was a joke. They said they will look into it and get back. I doubt I will ever receive the credit. You can't talk to anyone who can help. All answers are, "We will get back to you." Do not shop here!!!!

    We bought a sofa in Bob's Furniture Milford. Garfield salesman. When my husband asked him if he needed measurements, he said he don’t need. Today it’s delivery day and sofa corner didn't go through the door!!! So we were left without a sofa because we gave the old one away. So the last time I bought something in Bob's Furniture! If I can recommend Ashley, it's much better and has many delivery options.

    Bob's took my money TWICE for orders where I set a delivery date and once I paid them they said that delivery date was not valid and said it would be weeks after. The second time I took a screenshot of the delivery date I selected so the agent I would recite my story to didn't think I was crazy. Bad business. Bad company. Avoid. Not good.

    I had one of the worst customer service experiences with Bob’s Furniture. They completely messed up the delivery address on my order, even though I ensured the address was accurate multiple times before the purchase. To make matters worse, the delivery driver was rude and flat-out refused to come back with the furniture, saying, “I’m not coming back.” No apology, no accountability—just pure disregard.

    Because of their mistake, my granddaughter had to sleep on the floor for almost a week while we waited for a resolution that never came. I called customer service and went to the store (Bay Plaza)and spoke with the supervisor, but was told they had no control over the delivery because it’s handled by a third-party vendor. This is completely unacceptable. If you contract out your deliveries, you're still responsible for making it right.

    The supervisor who claimed he would personally handle the issue and call me back didn't even have the decency to follow through and call me back as he stated he would. Instead, he had someone else call me with no support, no resolution, and no plan to fix their error. Bob’s Furniture completely failed to deliver, not just the product, but basic customer service and decency. I’ll never shop here again, and I’d caution anyone who values reliable service to look elsewhere.

    DO NOT ORDER THE MASSAGE CHAIR. This went wrong in so many ways. Broken 30 min after set up, the local store, if you can get a hold of them, is helpful, but getting through is awful. Customer service is awful. Finally got them to just refund the chair and 1 week it was for the full amount now that they got the chair out after 4 tries and by breaking it AND my door frame, the refund changed by 699.69. Even though I have all the messages and emails, they still won't rectify the situation. Stinks because we get most of our furniture from there. Not that they care, but they just lost a customer.

    0 out of 5 stars!!!! The price was too good to be true. I know there had to be an area where they would fall short. In my experience, it is customer service and delivery. I am not sure if they outsource their deliveries but they gave me a window from 12-3pm. I scheduled to work from home and scheduled my meetings around the allotted time and also reserved our elevator for delivery window time. The drivers called me at 2:58pm to tell me they were on their way. At that point, I have afternoon calls that start again at 3pm. They arrived at 3:16 to tell me they were outside (and not at the loading dock). I kept communicating for them where to go but I guess the basic comprehension was not there.

    I got off my call at 3:35 and had to go downstairs for the concierge to give access to the elevator. After all of that—they decided that rather than wait, they needed to get to the next delivery and LEFT. This was 7 mins after the person responded ok to my text that I was coming downstairs. What a piss poor example of communication and courtesy. I would NEVER order from them. I would highly suggest anyone looking at their store go somewhere else. I rather pay for good quality AND good customer service rather than get my time wasted as I have today. NEVER AGAIN.

    We found some couches of interest online, so visited the closest store (St. Ann, MO) to check them out. Our experience in the store was pleasant, helpful and no pressure (thanks, Torez). The item we selected was carefully explained (recliner sofa) and we opted for the extra protection and the professional delivery (White Glove). The delivery was prompt (within 3 business days) and very satisfactory. We bought the Modern Farmhouse Motion Power Sofa and are very pleased with it in our living room. It looks very beautiful, high-quality. I'm not sure why it includes 5 throw pillows but maybe some folks would appreciate it. I hope the "Goof Proof" extra coverage for spills, damages, et. al is just as good (and never needed, I might add).

    First of all I am a disabled veteran with a spinal injury from Desert Storm, and so I asked them to PLEASE call at least 15 minutes before delivering to my home because I have dogs to put somewhere before they arrive, and that it would take me a while to do so, they said sure they would tell the driver, and that the driver will do, well the driver came, no phone call first. They just knocked at the door, then when I told them about it they said they have no notes, and tried to show me on his phone because he did NOT even speak English so I almost told them to take their crap and leave, but I told them to leave the stuff on the front porch and just go, I wonder if they are even allowed to drive in the US.

    $70.00 for the delivery I paid, I want a refund for the delivery charge!!!! I should have bought from Value City Furniture, at least they speak English, and follow instructions! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM BOB'S DISCOUNT FURNITURE! I wonder what immigration maybe I will call my daughter, she is a federal investigator. How's that for a detailed review!!!!

    My reclining couch broke one week before the warranty. They claimed it wasn't an accident and the policy was for an accident. Blame Bob's for contracting with this cutthroat company that writes policies that will not pay. I guess it's the only way to assure people that the furniture is quality. The reality is it is not quality and yeah, poorly put together.

    Have a reclining sectional that is just over the store warranty (a little over a year) and now cushions are sagging and the frame is warped, tried to go thru customer service and was referred to the "Goof Proof". They want to charge $80 to come look and told me, most likely nothing they can do. Looks great when you buy it, but quality is inadequate. Check warranties before spending your money, now I have over $2000 worth of landfill in my living room and will have to get a new couch, NOT FROM BOB'S.

    Please don’t ever buy anything from this company! It is unreal! I am now on six weeks of waiting and six chairs that have arrived new out of the box and ripped. I’ve missed work for their deliveries. They charged me twice what the salesperson quoted for delivery. And they don’t give two craps about what horrible service, terrible managers, and incredibly unhappy customers mean. I am completely disappointed and disgusted with the sales people, management, the service and the quality of the product. They offered me $150 refund because of all the issues. Three days later, they rescinded that offer and offered me a gift card to buy more stuff at Bob’s. Pretty sure that’ll be over my dead body! I have decided to go on a campaign to let everybody know how bad it is! You might even occasionally see me sitting outside telling everybody who walks in how bad it is. This is a hill I might choose to die on.

    If I could leave zero stars, I would. I ordered nearly $11,000 worth of furniture for a brand new apartment. The apartment had zero furniture. When the delivery guy came, he made many inappropriate comments to me and did damage to my walls. He begged me not to complain to customer service. After calling customer service, I was told that someone would call me in 24 hours. That never happened and then I received a letter that my case was closed! I called back very upset and the case was reopened and was told someone would reach out to me in 24 hours. A week later, I was still not contacted and my case was closed. I guess Bob's is OK with sexual harassment and damage to property. Now I am stuck paying for damages that THEY did and I didn't even receive an apology.

    I ordered the Playmaker on May 6th. I received it on May 15th. The electronics never worked, and the back of the chaise broke the day I got it on May 15th. I ended up in the emergency room for 2 days. You showed back up 2 weeks later with only half of the new one I order. It was a different type. It was a Katie Grey. I told them I need it all. Take it back and bring the whole thing. I talk to 2 or 3 supervisors and asked if the Katie Grey came with everything in the pictures including the pillow and sheets. They told me yes. I get the thing today June 26th and no pillow or sheets. I called and now they tell me it doesn't come with the pillow or sheets.

    I have been waiting since May 6th for something not broken and what I was promised. I will also be returning the one you delivered today. It has no head and neck support. I need that because the first one I bought from you the back of the chaise broke and fell back a foot. Al one of the guys that delivered the Katie Grey today said the first one I ordered the Playmaker was not assembled correctly by your delivery people. You will be hearing from my lawyer due to my back injury, and I have a video of the broken/malfunctioning Playmaker.

    On June 24, 2025, the delivery team was scheduled to deliver the second half of my couch. The crew arrived without prior notice and mishandled the couch section, rubbing it against my entryway door and causing damage and my wall. They brought the piece into the house but failed to fully assemble it with the existing couch sections.

    When prompted to sign their signature device using hand gestures. Before signing, I attempted to verify the electronic recline function, only to find the couch was not plugged in. When I asked if they had tested it, the crew member appeared confused. I informed them I would retrieve a power cord and return momentarily. Within a minute, I saw the crew member leaving in their truck.

    Upon closer inspection, I discovered the delivered couch section was damaged, with the back piece detaching. I contacted the company and was told the crew was "too far away" but would return by the end of the day. At 7:45 PM, I called to check on their status, only to be informed that the crew had finished for the day and could not return as promised. The representative claimed someone had called to notify me of the cancellation, which never occurred. HORRIBLE Service - and you pay extra for this "Bob Delivery and Assembly". Don't buy from here and remember pay by card to preserve your rights to fraudulent services/merchandise!

    Great customer service in Calumet City. The down is the warranties on your furniture or anything you buy does not last for five or 6 to 7 years like they say. If it breaks down or a part break down, the warranty covers it however, when you have to receive a new one, you will have to buy a new warranty. That’s the part they don’t tell you so that actually the warranty does not last five years or six so be aware that if you if it breaks or tear down, you will have to re-buy a new warranty for each piece. Sad but true.

    My aunt paid for a dining set and several stools. She picked up 2 stools last week and was informed that her other 2 stools would arrived on June 2, 2025. We went to pick them up and all of a suddenly her stools aren't going to arrive until June 3, 2025. Manny B. and the young man in the back pick up area were unapologetic and really didn't care. We asked for a manager and Katie but we got Manny B. who acted like it was nothing that her products were not there on time. He tried to inform us that we were told the wrong information last week, but his uncaring attitude helped me to realize I won't be purchasing anything from you or my aunt in the future.     First time visiting Bob's Discount Furniture in Monroeville PA. What a great experience. The Customer Experience Representative, Naomi, was so helpful and informative. She walked with us as we explored the store and offered helpful information about the products without being pushy or "in our face". The pricing can't be beat. The store provided lots of different options on all products and was fun to explore. All the representatives were very courteous and friendly without the hard sell tactics you get in most stores. Really liked the variety of furniture options, colors and fabrics. Found many unique items. Can't say enough good stuff about our experience. Will definitely be purchasing and returning.     Avoid Bob's Furniture Store at All Costs. I regret not reading the reviews before making our purchase. We were thrilled to get new furniture after visiting a friend who had a SUPER comfortable couch from Bob's. Sadly, our experience was a nightmare. The couch pieces were misaligned, leaving a gap. The cushions became deformed and lost foam support within one year, while the frame started fraying as though the stitching was done wrong. For a $1499 + $299 (insurance) priced couch, such wear and tear should not appear until at least three to five years of use.

    When purchasing the couch, the sales representative assured us of the high-quality products and that the Goof Proof insurance would cover major concerns, especially deflated cushions and wear, which heavily influenced our decision to buy the coverage. He even went as far as advising us to commit fraud the last year of the insurance so we could get a replacement before the insurance expired.

    Fast forward two years, and we needed a repair. Half our claims were rejected. The couch is fraying, the springs broke, and the cushions deflated. We contacted Goof Proof and scheduled a repair, informing them about our private entrance. Five minutes after the appointment time, we were notified that we weren't home and the repairman had left. The company rescheduled, and we reiterated the instructions. I took the morning off to assist, but the same thing happened again. They closed our ticket because we didn't respond to their email notification. I called Bob's Furniture to get in touch with Goof Proof, but the automated service kept dropping the call. This was the first red flag that the insurance company was a SCAM.

    The second were the SEVERAL lawsuits against them for these same exact fraudulent practices. I reached out again and Bob's put me in touch with Goof Proof again, and the representative was condescending, claiming he wasn't discounting my story, but I have no proof. He sent an email for a prorated refund of the insurance. They rejected my claims but want to keep my money? Why should my money go to a fraudulent company? I will be reporting both Bob's and GoofProof to the FTC and VA Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. I'm also reaching out to law firms to see about filing a class action lawsuit or joining one (seems like there's a whole group dedicated to Bob's Furniture Lawsuits on Facebook).

    Especially since I've even tried selling the couch, but no one wants it. This means I have been SCAMMED out of $1499 + $299.99 (+ whatever the replacement couch costs) on a couch that deteriorated faster than any couch and will have to be tossed out after only 2.5 years. I've never owned anything so cheaply made, including the two hundred dollar couch from Wayfair that has been sitting in my office for the last 5 years (Still firm!).

    Terrible, I would not recommend Bob's to anyone. I purchased a couch, dining room table and a full bed set. The bed set came damaged. The headboard had barn doors on it. there is no way the delivery drivers could of missed this. They still installed it and we were in the middle of moving that day so I did not see it prior to them leaving, a family member pointed it out to me later that day. I tried to get a hold of them and only could via a text chat and they basically told me they were looking into it and never responded to me.

    I then tried again on that Monday (2 days later) and they were able to schedule a replacement later that week. When the replacement headboard came it was also damaged. The delivery drivers this time pointed it out prior to installing it. They got a hold of customer service and then they called me. They offered another replacement but the only Saturday they had was a month later which was this week. AGAIN the headboard was damaged. At this point it is the 3rd headboard that has come damage and all the customer service wants to do is keep replacing it only for it to keep coming damaged.

    I asked for a supervisor and finally got a hold of one and she was one of the rudest people I have come across. As someone who spent multiple thousands of dollars there I don't expect my furniture to come damaged and if it does I expect help with solving the issue. I told this supervisor I didn't want a replacement again rather a refund and she asked me if I wanted to just return the bed and I said no take the whole bed set back because what am I going to do with a matching dresser and side table that won't match a new bed.

    I would of been okay keeping the original damaged headboard if they would of just provided me a refund for the headboard but now I have to return it next month because again the supervisor was rude and didn't want to help in anyway. She just scheduled the date and didn't provide me any information on when I can expect the refund. I would not recommend buying from Bob's. I love our couch and dining room table but the experience with the bed set is insane and I expect better from a company and their customer service which is trash.

    I bought living and dining set less than 18 months ago. The cushions have basically completely flattened and have no support. Contacted customer service. They told it was past one year and warranty ran out and offered for me to pay $79 for someone to come look and tell me how much to replace the foam inserts would be which I declined then offered to give me a price over the phone so if I accepted someone coming to assess the couch I would of wasted $79 plus cost to fix then I was told is was discontinued and no longer available. Lesson learned. Good deals are usually too good to be true.

    I strongly advise against purchasing from Bob’s Discount Furniture. Our experience has been extremely disappointing. We bought several items, and the glass on our coffee table broke shortly after. I filed a claim, which was denied without any clear explanation. Despite multiple attempts to contact their customer service, I received no response.

    Their lack of accountability and support has been frustrating, and we are now speaking with a lawyer to consider legal action. The customer service is among the worst we’ve encountered — unresponsive and dismissive. Sadly, there seems to be no effective way to escalate complaints within their system. Buyers beware — this company does not stand behind its products or customers.

    We bought a recliner sofa and love seat in 2022. Two years later, recliner stopped working. We bought Goof Proof insurance and contacted Guardian who handles Goof Proof. After you submit the claim, you have to wait a week to get a response back. They said it needs to be inspected before they authorize the repair. It will be over 3 weeks before they inspect it. God only knows how long it will take to get repaired IF they authorize it. So the recliner stopped working in the reclining position so the foot rest is in the way all the time. I suggest no one buy from Bob's. And if you do, don't waste your money on Goof Proof.

    Me and my wife have been Bob customers for over 20 years. We purchased a couch set for our home. Beautiful set but just after a few years the under side of pillow arm rest started to Crack. I was told at the time of purchase that the couch was fully leather but this was not the case. The underside of the pillow arm rest was fake leather. I sent pictures to Bob's headquarters and reached out to the store and I had goof proof protection plan. They are a "JOKE." Another way to take your money. I showed the damage to a Bob manager and he agreed that the cracking wasn't normal wear and tear. It had only been a couple of years. Bob's will take your money but will not take the time to help a loyal customer when a problem arises. Shame on you Bob's and shame on your parent company Bain. Before you purchase anything from their store please ask more questions so you don't end up like me and my wife.

    I have bought from Bob’s twice in the past (several years ago) and was satisfied with my experience and product. Decent value for money paid. Recently, we bought a couch and live seat for our vacation home in Maine (we live in Mass.). We are located on a lake outside of town on a well maintained dirt road. We explained our location and were assured they could deliver to us. After placing our order, we noticed the color was listed wrong on one item and we had to go back to the store to correct. At that time, we tried to clarify our location for delivery, explaining we are not difficult to get to but are in a lightly traveled area outside Baxter State Park. They refused to take any directions info from us stating they would find it with GPS. It is definable possible to get good GPs direction to our home but our direction tips would definitely help.

    At this time we noticed they had the delivery address incorrect so we corrected it with them. Our vacation home is 6 hrs from our home so we drove up the day before. On delivery day, everything was confirmed. We then got a call that they were over an hour away - in the region of the original wrong address they had- and they would not be able to deliver that day- next delivery available was 3 weeks later. So, we drove a total of 12 hrs there and back for nothing. For our next delivery date, we confirmed the address again, drove the 6 hrs and had the driver dispatch (located in CA) call to clarify the address. We never heard from them again and furniture was not delivered again. There is no way to directly contact delivery to see what happened.

    Another 12 hour trip for nothing. On the way home we stopped at the Bob’s in Bangor ME to see what happened, maybe arrange to pick up the furniture ourselves. When we asked for a manger, we were told he was busy and they could cancel our order if we wanted. Of course, that is what we did. I will never buy from Bob’s again- absolutely no post sale service. No support or concern for our delivery issues. No attempt to appease or compensate us- after all, we paid for gas and spent a total of 24 hrs driving for nothing. Steer clear!

    Bought couch set and had for 2 years. They didn't hold up and in the corner you fall through. Was told this is foam resilience. There's a gap between the couch and sleeper from underneath. It was made cheap. The loveseat the leg fell out. The wood is all gone that the leg screws in. We can't use our furniture as we pay on the interest. We was told to pay off on the incorrect day. So we had to pay for interest that gets added on. We bought a mattress too. This thing makes you feel awful. Hurts your back. We just wanted our money back for original purchase.     I tried Bob’s after not shopping at their store for about 20 years because of the poor quality and the goof proof non-service nonsense. I decided to give it a try. My recent bad experience reminded me quickly why I had not shopped at Bob’s for decades. The sales rep was good but sold us a defective bedroom set that didn't last a week. I loved the bedroom set, but the bed frame broke on both sides of the bed. We were told the adjustable base and mattress were too heavy for the frame, which sat right on top of the drawers underneath the bed. My husband was like shouldn't the salesperson have known about this? Too eager to make the sale. The dresser to the set was never taken from the delivery truck because on two different occasions it came in damaged both times.

    My husband and I went to the store to return the furniture and get our money refunded. The sales lady sounded like she understood and proceeded to show us other sets that we were not interested in that did not have the drawers underneath. We let her know that we just wanted a refund. She told us we can only get a store credit. We went back and forth with her in a heated exchange of words and she kept stating it was store policy after the items are delivered to the home. There is no way the customer is being penalized due to a situation beyond their control. The poor quality of the furniture wasn't our fault. This wasn't making any sense.

    After a while the manager came over and said she would refund the items. This restored my faith in Bob’s. She was willing to give us a refund for something that wasn't our fault. The goal in customer service is making sure your customers are happy and satisfied. You don't scam your customer! It must be some written rules somewhere in their integrity and mission clause.

    The nightmare didn't end there. We set up time for their folks to pick up the entire damaged bedroom set. They gave us a date 3 weeks out, which wasn't appealing. The day of the pick up we get a call that they cant pick up the furniture because the drivers said there is no room on the truck. They wanted us to reschedule. We took off from work for this pick up! They wanted to give us another delivery another week out. We were irate. We called the customer service back and engaged in another heated exchange. The rep was very apologetic but this wasn't enough for us. I read the reviews and learned that delivery is unorganized, poorly planned and poorly scheduled, inconveniencing the customer again.

    We have other more reliable furniture being delivered from Raymour’s and needed this pile of wood removed from our home immediately. We are waiting on the call back from customer service. We did purchase the reclining bed with the adjustable base from Bob’s also. I am praying that this holds up. Lost faith in Bob! I will not encourage others to purchase from there. Buyer beware! They lack honesty and knowledge about the furniture they are selling.

    I ordered a bedframe which came without the middle bracket after I specifically reached out to ask if there was a middle bracket coming with it. It never came. Spoke to Customer Service. They could not resolve or send me a middle bracket. They said I had to purchase one separately, even though this item is supposed to come with one. Then I ordered a couch. A bureau was delivered instead. When I called to tell them I needed my couch and not the bureau that is not mine. They said I had to re-order everything. I received my couch in the wrong color. I ordered gray and it came in navy blue. They said I had to return the couch and they would then send out a new couch in the proper color. They could not accommodate doing this in a timely manner. Bob's Set me up for a delivery Last Friday that had to be rescheduled due to not having All the parts. They reschedule for this Tuesday Which the delivery boys was young, lazy And did not want to deliver or set up, Was told they was five minutes away never came, Said they knocked on the glass door how do you knock on a Revolving glass door that opens to a lobby. Who did you think was gonna come down. Jesus. My window frame for delivering was 1 to 4. They came early without no email or update being sent. The store and customer service is not no better. All they did was transferred. Hang up the phone and didn't take the call serious. As.

    It okay that they are selling cheap furniture and taking people's money and not following up. Bob's discount furniture store is a joke. They have joke of the keys working for. They don't honor what they say they are going to do to fix the problem. Bob's discount furniture is terrible. Incompetent. Non professional. Bad. Nuisance business. That are liars. Tell anything but take accountability for they screw up. I was Inconvenience. I left work So that me out of my money. I was late for an event dealing with your lazy delivery guys.     Worst customer service ever. I bought furniture from their outlet and it is still there! They told me that they would have it delivered and all I have to do is call this number. Well, I've called that number 14 times, nobody answers and nobody calls me back. I have to go out and hire an independent mover to get my furniture. This is ridiculous.     I've never encountered such incompetence from a company. We were supposed to receive a delivery last night, but the driver called us at 4:09 p.m. Stating he was at our house.... He was not. He was at the same street address—just in a completely different town. He admitted he hadn’t bothered to input the town and zip code. Although he was frustrated about the extra 30-minute drive (we were his last delivery), he assured us he was on his was. Five minutes later, we received a text saying our shipment was canceled and that we would need to reschedule.

    I immediately contacted customer care and spent hours speaking to three different representatives, all "sending alerts" and "escalating" to management, with the promise of a call from someone shortly. Despite verifying that our address was correct, we were told that the driver had reported it as incorrect. While the customer care team was kind and understanding, I never received a call back from any of the managers, as promised. After multiple conversations, including one with the store manager, I was assured that a "Bring Back" was being arranged. That never happened.

    This morning at 7:15 a.m., I received a voicemail from a customer care agent claiming we had provided the wrong address and that I needed to visit the store with proper ID to correct it—despite the fact that the address has always been correct. When I called back was told that nothing could be done to get my delivery today. Then I was escalated to a resolution specialist, I was told the earliest delivery date available was next Tuesday because the sofa had been sent back to the California warehouse. We were given a new delivery date a week from today. Update: We just received a call from the resolution representative and she was able to get them to expedite it for this Friday. Although it's better than Tuesday, it is still unacceptable to me. This is very disappointing, and will be the last purchase from Bob's I will ever make. Lesson learned.

    I've purchased 5 separate pieces from Bob's in Bangor, Me; two Trevor recliners, two solitude espresso dressers, and the solitude espresso king bed. The furniture is very new so I can't comment on how long it will last. But it is heavy. Seems sturdy. And looks good as a matching set. Plus the prices are right. I love that you can finance it through Acima. My only complaint is the wait for delivery, as it can take a month or as little as two weeks. Overall great service and experience. How long will the stuff last? Only time will tell.

    Bought a mattress and adjustable bed from Bob's Furniture. I liked Matt the salesman and was very impressed with the communication on its delivery and set up times. Unfortunately, when they came to set it up, they noticed that the plastic covered mattress had water in it! I am moving into my new address in 3 days and they cannot deliver a replacement 4 days after that.     I’ve had the absolute worst experience with the online customer care team. I ordered a bedroom set for delivery on Friday, March 7, took the day off unpaid to be present, and the rail arrived broken. The supervisor assured me it would be redelivered on Saturday, March 8, as I explained I couldn’t take another unpaid day off due to having a child.

    I called to confirm, only to be told they couldn’t accommodate me. I had already dismantled my old bed, leaving me to sleep on a mattress on the floor. The customer care team showed zero empathy, and Supervisor Jesse was a joke—offering only a $75 refund because I had the headboard. The headboard is useless; I demanded a refund for the bed and setup fee.

    They refused to deliver on Saturday, claiming no drivers were available. That is not my problem. I paid for a complete, undamaged set on the scheduled day. Why should I lose more wages for them to fix their mistake? After five calls, they still refused to issue a proper refund. They demanded the headboard back but wouldn’t allow me to leave it on my porch for pickup—I had to be there. This entire process has been unnecessarily difficult and unfair. I should have stuck with Johnny Janosik.

    We have ordered 4k worth of furniture for our new home a few weeks ago (FEB 2025). We were told all the furniture is available at the warehouse and will be delivered as soon as we are ready. We scheduled the delivery for Feb 27th. We took annual leave from work to be home. They gave a time frame between 11 AM-2 PM. The driver did not show until 2 PM and only delivered quarter of our items.

    I called customer service. The gentleman was nice but very hard to understand. He finally got around and rescheduled our delivery for the rest of the items for Saturday, March 8, knowing that we can not take another day off from work to sit and wait around. Today is March 5 and since I haven't heard anything from the delivery, I called customer service, just to find out one of the items is on back order and also they have (without asking us) rescheduled our delivery to March 10 (Monday). Never a call, and email or text. Nothing! This is unreasonable and very disappointing.

    My couches are less than 2 years old and started peeling. I called warranty. They won't cover it, they said leather should not be doing this, to call store. I called Bob's. They don't give a damn that they sell cheap furniture. They only guarantee your stuff for a year. On top of this I had to get the recliner seats fixed three times in the first year. Selling fake leather couches. I wish I would've listen to the reviews before. So if you're not one of the lucky ones that nothing happens to your couches, they will not care to fix their poor quality furniture.

    Big disappointment. I can sum up Bob’s Furniture in one phrase - overpromised and underdelivered. On Sunday of last week, I purchased a mattress for pickup in store. Salesperson told me I could pick it up on Tuesday. I left the store to check another mattress, and returned approx two hours later. Agreed to buy this mattress, thinking all conditions were the same. After my credit card was charged and we completed the sale, I was told that all available deliveries were filled and it would not be available until the next week, Tues or Wed. I grudgingly agreed.

    I called Bob’s yesterday, Tuesday, to check status and was informed there had been a delay at the manufacturer, and it would not be available until next week on Thursday. I will not shop at Bob’s Discount Furniture again, I feel they have lied and misled me throughout this transaction. I am still waiting for my mattress, and am not optimistic it will arrive next Thursday as promised. What started as a two-day mattress purchase has now become an 18 day ordeal. Such a disappointment.

    Recently bought a Stevie Charcoal loveseat and couch with my brother for my elderly father. They were temporary fixes, but I figured they'd be good enough to last about a year or two. It's now been approximately 3 weeks that he's had somewhat light use out of them. They're just about the most uncomfortable couch and loveseat you've ever sat on.

    The material quality is absolutely abysmal, which slight tears on the cushions showing up already. At $798 for the two of them, it's an absolute scam. One of the legs on the loveseat is already breaking, and a quick inspection under the couch reveals the cheap construction of the cheapest wood you can imagine held together by staples - some of which don't actually do anything. I've tried returning them, but considering there is "nothing" wrong with them, Bob's will not take them back. I'm now selling them on Facebook marketplace for less than half of what I bought them for as my father refuses to sit on them.

    In October I bought a bed king size, a recliner with a double seated sofa with massage. All these items came with issues and problems. After multiple times coming here they rectify it. I also bought a dining room table. Eastham 5 Piece Dark Brown Upholstered. It has come all stretched up. The chairs are not well glued in and they have been in My Home about 15 times. Their solution is for me to keep these chairs that are messed up and that they will give me $200 off on the product that’ll break in a few months because it’s not well put together. They also swapped out my dining room to something that I did not like. That my husband chose. The same issue. Now again I go back to the table that I want in the beginning and they brought it all scratched up. I didn’t get to see the chairs and when I’m in scratched up I had big pieces.

    When I got on the phone with customer service resolution that resolution was for me to keep it for $200 or for them to give me my money back after they have been to my home over 15 times which will leave me with our dining room table because where I live at there is not much places to buy a dining room table. This is truly disturbing and concerning as a customer. When we go into a store to purchase items and we hand our hard work earn money they are quick to Smile and make it seem easy to take the money for item.

    The young lady has been trying to help me where I bought the stuff believing a paper trail and writing to them to please have the items inspected as well as I have told them the resolution people to please have the items inspected to no avail so just know buying from Bob’s Furniture is not worth it and it’s aggravating. This has taken a mental toll on me in the sense that I can’t even have company over to have them see at the table for dinner because I’m scared that these shares a break so before you buy from Bob’s Furniture, do your research and just know that they do not make it easy to rectify issues.

    Horrible experience, Bob's does not have a return policy and once your item is delivered it becomes final sale! It takes a couple of days if not weeks to get used to your new furniture or to see if you really like it in your place, for bobs this does not matters and will not take any returns for refunds after item has been delivered!     Yesterday my delivery arrived. The night before we got a half inch of frozen snow. When the delivery truck arrived my plow truck and sander was just wrapping up. My street was down to bare pavement and my driveway was down to bare gravel. I received a call from Bon’s stating the delivery driver was unable to make delivery as it was unsafe. I walked up the driveway to speak with the driver and he started to back up down my street as I approached him. My plow driver chased after the vehicle and said, "It’s all set. You can make your delivery." The driver informed him he was turning around and would back up the road. They never returned. Bob’s called again to state they had to reschedule the delivery. I explained what happened and the condition of the road and my driveway and they said they file a comeback order telling the driver to go back and make delivery.

    An hour later the delivery truck drove past my house and to the end of my dead end road, then past my house again after turning around. Then Bob’s called a third time and stated the driver said it was unsafe still and was rescheduling. Bob’s stated that it’s a fairly large truck and the drivers aren’t that experienced so they were very sorry and were going to try to get the delivery done the next day. Today at 12:30 I received a call stating there was nothing they could do to help us and they were refunding my 4k purchase to my card and they hope that they can assist again in the future. Seriously!!! This was the worst sales experience of my life. I personally will never ever shop at Bob’s again and I recommend to everyone and anyone thinking about using them to reconsider. They are terrible at best and there are other stores willing to help more than this place. Bob’s Furniture is the absolute worst.

    Good price, good selection and decent in-person staff. However, after my purchase of a sofa, they said it would be delivered on Friday. I get a call at 7:40 am asking me to call them back but when I call back the automated system says they are not open. I was finally able to connect with them after 9 am. The guy said I would be able to get my sofa until mid-next week because their warehouse guys couldn’t find my sofa. So I was a little frustrated because I moved everything out of my living room (old sofa, side tables, etc) for the delivery and now I have to move it back and then move it back out again when the delivery is made.

    I ask the guy on the phone if there was anything we could do to make up for the inconvenience but there was a language barrier and instead it sounded like he was trying to refund my couch which is not what I wanted, after I told him I would like to talk to his supervisor because there seems to be a misunderstanding he said he couldn’t do that because his supervisor had no phone line and he would have to escalate it. He put me on hold for 5-10 minutes and when I heard the music stop, I tried to talk but no one was replying back and they hung up on me.

    He called back and hung up again and called me a second time saying he couldn’t hear me the other times. He finally said I could get store credit to make up for the inconvenience but the store credit wouldn’t be available for 3 business days, and today is Friday so mid next week it will be available. The delivery process and customer service seems to be somewhat unorganized. Hopefully, I’ll get my sofa.

    I took delivery in January 2022 of a sofa and a loveseat. I purchased Bob’s “goof proof” extended warranty. Total cost was over $2200. A few months later, the reclining portion of the loveseat broke. The technician who came to my house inspected the and informed me this was a known defect, and I was given a new loveseat under the standard 1 year warranty. At that time, I was concerned and was assured that my extended warranty would cover any issues for five years. Approximately two years later, my replacement loveseat had the same exact breakage. I filed a goof proof claim and was told regular wear and tear is not covered, only “accidental” breakage. This is unacceptable as I certainly didn’t break it intentionally and have had two of these pieces break in three years well within the extended warranty. I have been denied replacement by both Bob’s and the warranty company.

    Would give 0 stars if I could... They delivered the wrong color dining set to my home twice. Then when the correct color finally arrived the bench seat was broken! It took 4 deliveries and almost 5 weeks to get my order correct! Calling corporate is a complete waste of time. I have 5 documented calls to the corporate office. They do nothing to accommodate the inconvenience of having to rearrange my schedule 4 times to accept delivery, nor do they acknowledge the fact that they could not deliver the correct color!

    The district manager says he was going to call me back to ensure I was satisfied with my items and he couldn't be bothered to keep his word. Then the "escalation team" decided it would be a smart move to offer me a $50 in store credit, what an insult!! Previous to this interaction with Bob's, I had ordered bedroom furniture for my daughters and there were issues there as well. (missing pieces, mismatched colored pieces) and like an idiot, I decided to give them another try. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

    I had a delivery scheduled for 1/28 but was sick and had to be away from my apartment however Bob's told me it would be fine if the apartment manager let the movers in which he did. They then decided that they would leave the unit stating that “we aren’t able to deliver unless the owner is present.” This turned out to be false. They left my apartment without calling me or anyone to let us know. I arrived at my unit the next day to find an empty apartment. No furniture. This is after the movers were extremely rude and customer service was absolutely no help as they told me “too bad the furniture was sent back to the warehouse in Connecticut and we can’t get it to you for a week.” They also failed to reimburse me for a hotel so I have been forced to sleep on the floor of my apartment.

    I have been a loyal customer to Bob's Discount Furniture for almost 10 years. I recently purchased a 6-piece dresser from Bobs.com for $565.00. When I received the item, it came in over 60 pieces. I reached out to them and come to learn that they sold me a piece of furniture from a 3rd party vendor. It is NOT even a Bob's furniture piece. Which explains why the quality was particle board (IKEA grade). If I had known that it was a 3rd party vendor, I would not have bought the item online. But because I trusted that it was a Bob's furniture piece on their own site, I thought the quality would be the same as all their other products.

    I've contacted customer service 5x and gave them the opportunity to make it right. They were all dismissive and unhelpful. Despite that they agreed that the site is misleading and falsely advertised. I will never shop at Bob's Discount Furniture again and I will be posting a negative review for every single site to warn people to not buy from Bobs.com. The site is a FRAUD.

    I have brought Magnus Power loveseat with power headrest, Magnus Power Sofa with Power headrest along with some other furniture 4 years back. I also brought their additional insurance they sell. I brought it in January 2021. But I would say they are not durable at all and does not work for more than 3 years. Insurance company and Bob's does not honor any claim. Leather started coming out and it is of no use after 3 years. No one will listen to you about issues. After talking to many people they say that, "We can send someone to look" but I have to pay for the visit. Which is strange. Their insurance partner Gurdain also does not bother to send any surveyor to check and their simple answer is leather is not covered in insurance and they only bother whether it came out accidental. If anyone buy any leather stuff, does not matter how costly it is, it will not last for more than 3 years.

    I went into the Lexington store to pay off my furniture. They do not take payments at the store, you must go online to pay. Once the payment was made from the list for paying the balance, a new balance showed up saying I owed at least $80 more. First, what do you do when someone purchases a piece of furniture from you and pays cash. Do you tell them they must set up a online account to pay in cash? This is an absurd way to do business.

    Does the store take credit cards? If so why not debit cards to pay off a balance. I drove 45 miles round trip to be told that they do not take payments at the store. I will not go back to them, last time I will purchase anything from them because of this insane policy. Also the customer service was awful, I could not understand the person who answered the phone because of a heavy India accent. I will gladly tell people not to go there.

    Our Bob's Discount Furniture sale turned out to be a nightmare and I will not be buying anything else from Bobs. Jan 11th 2025 we pick out a bedroom set, put $500, 2 days later paid the entire $1,649. Their delivery team went to the wrong address on Jan. 16th so we had to wait until Jan 21st and they went to the wrong address again and now we have to wait to see if they can deliver our furniture tomorrow or not. This is unacceptable and I will never step foot into another Bobs furniture again and I definitely won't be recommending my family and friends.

    My wife and I sleep on an air mattress in our new home for 2 weeks now thanks to Bobs discount furniture. The sale team in the Mid City store in Los Angeles were great but the delivery team is horrible. They have robbed us of our money at this point and a refund will not be enough, if don't get my furniture tomorrow I will pursue legal action. I could have gotten a refund and furnished my entire home with another company by now. My handicap wife trusted Bobs and now we're without a bedroom set or our $1,646.49 plus another $1,400 we're paying for our mattress. If I get my furniture tomorrow I'll delete this review but if not I'm letting my lawyer do his job.

    The furniture quality on the other hand is embarrassingly bad. First of all open any dresser drawer in the store and find just how thin and low quality these products are. No dovetails, just cheap cheap assembly that is guaranteed not to last. It's a shame that most consumers don't know the difference between quality craftsmanship and this "Made In China" junk. Every piece I looked at was fake wood, plastic resin style junk. Every drawer I opened was quarter inch thick plywood(at best, possibly 3/16") and assembled with the absolute cheapest/fastest way possible. Any "real" piece of furniture is made out of quality materials. Nothing in this store is of quality. Nothing is meant to last here. Just search "Bob's Furniture Consumer Affairs" or check out their Better Business Bureau page which is horribly reviewed.

    The bottom line here is take 5 minutes and watch a YouTube video or two to understand what quality furniture looks like. You want real wood, with quality materials, and real joinery. Avoid thin fake woods, anything with plastic, and obvious nail guns to hold pieces together. They will not last. I was quoted $4500 on a bedroom set, it was the worst quality I've ever seen in my entire life. The crazy part is I just came from Costco before going to Bobs, and the furniture at Costco blows Bobs out the park.

    Dovetail drawers with real wood, and heavy duty metal drawer hardware. On top of that the Costco drawers were soft closing. Versus the plastic fake junk at Bobs, with the cheapest drawer hardware that doesn't even shut straight. Price at Costco for the nightstand was $199. Bobs was $399. Double the price, and absolute trash quality.

    We had a great in-store experience; however, the delivery service left us without a bed for our daughter and without a couch for several days. We bought a dining room set, a chair, a bed, and a sofa. The day after Christmas, the dining room set, chair, and bed were to be delivered. When the bed arrived, it was broken during transport. That was not an issue as we had a separate delivery coming for our couch. On the day of the second delivery, it was snowing. We received notice that our delivery would arrive, and set to breaking down our couch and the bed in anticipation.

    When the delivery truck arrived, my husband was shoveling the walkway and street to assist the drivers. They asked if we were ready for delivery, and my husband confirmed that we were. He went inside, and after a bit, the delivery truck drove away with zero explanation. My phone labeled all phone calls from the Bob's general number as junk and did not answer them. Thus, we had to call customer service multiple times to request that the drivers come back and were given apologies but no action. We were told the drivers could come back but declined. We were told they could deliver the next day. We are now awaiting in three days with no bed for my daughter and no couch. I am beyond furious and disappointed in how we were treated after buying multiple items from Bob's.

    Upon having to have my furniture replaced 3 times and now it is getting picked up permanently, due to poor quality, Bobs is refunding an amount to me that will still leave me with a balance due of $759.46... All because when I purchased a new set of furniture (after 2 couches failing within 1 year), I was informed by my salesperson and the store manager; the remaining balance would be rolled over to the new loan and was not. This left me with a remaining balance of $227.72 PLUS interest accrued in the amount of $531.74, which Bob's expects me to pay off. I have also spoken with Wells Fargo on the interest and the previous balance of $227.72 and they told me that's on Bob's Furniture for not rolling it over....

    On top of all of this, I have had to take 3 days off from work to have faulty furniture replaced multiple time and I still have to find new furniture from a better company. In the past, I had purchased 2 full houses worth of Bobs furniture and always had great luck.... until Bobs "sold out" and made the furniture poor quality. Again, I am utterly disgusted that Bob's is leaving me with a remaining balance due of $759.46 to pay on a couch that I will no longer have in my home.

    Bob’s furniture doesn’t hold up. If you want a piece of furniture for a year you are good to go. Manufacturer warranty is good for one year for a reason. I was a great Bob’s furniture customer for few years now. Furnished my first home, also couple of rental properties. As a business they should love me. After roughly 3-5 years since I am buying their stuff over 70 % of pieces are in the garbage. Couches, chairs, beds, tables, daybeds….are junk. They break, lose shape, stop functioning, screws get loose…. If you want a piece of furniture for one year it’s great. But consider buying something new after a year and pay someone to get rid of Bob’s Junk!!!

    Bob’s Good Proof insurance is a joke. They talk you into buying insurance but after something happened to my couch like recliner stoped working- not covered. Breakage in the frame - not covered, rip - not covered. The insurance I paid extra is worth nothing but headache. After many claims and calls my couch is still broken and not reclining. How come when I bought insurance the salesperson in the store promised if ANYthing happens to the couch it’s covered with Goof Proof. It’s a LIE. Nothing is covered. I went to the store I bought the couch from - no help. Their defense was the salesperson who sold the couch is not working there anymore. The salesperson was saying exactly what he was told. The store doesn’t stand behind their own policy. The manager suggested to forget about it. I called the store headquarters about employee misrepresenting insurance on the couch. Nothing.

    They pointing fingers to insurance company who doesn’t cover anything. Many hours spent on just trying for them to come fix the problems of my couch I bought insurance on nothing is fixed. Too many aggravating hours on the phone. Please don’t buy Bob’s Furniture. Don’t buy their insurance. It’s my first negative review I have ever written. But people have to be warned. I wish someone told me earlier to save me lots of money and time.

    Do not buy product from this store. They will wine and dine you. I bought a living room set 5/2021 and took out Goof Poop. My husband sat in the chair 12/2024. We have been fighting this for a month. Goof Poop won't cover it. I will never buy another piece at Bob's. You get insurance to cover everything. These idiots won't cover it, The insurance put us through the mill. Four sets of pictures - can't cover it. I am so disappointed in them. My money will never be spent with them. Maybe they will go out of business if they are lucky.

    Well, folks, let me tell you a story—a story filled with hope, disappointment, and a sectional sofa that never quite made it home. If this were a movie, it’d be a comedy—except no one’s laughing. It all started with excitement. I ordered a sectional sofa, imagining family gatherings, movie nights, and maybe even a little holiday cheer. Two weeks later, the delivery truck rolled up, and I thought, "This is it!" But instead of the sectional I ordered, they brought me the wrong piece. Okay, mistakes happen. I get it. We’re all human. But the salesman who placed the order? Let’s just say “attention to detail” wasn’t his strong suit. So, I reordered and waited another week.

    This time, the sofa showed up—but it was missing its legs. And here’s the kicker—they actually asked if I’d take it without the legs. I mean, come on! A sofa with no legs? That’s not a sofa—it’s just a cushion in distress. Naturally, I said no. They apologized, and promised to deliver the right sofa the following week. Then—wait for it—they called the day before delivery to say it would be delayed another week. By this point, I felt like a character in Cast Away, stranded on an island with no seating and no hope of rescue.

    Christmas Eve came and went without my sectional. So did New Year’s Eve. My family had to huddle together on mismatched chairs while the living room stood half-empty, a sad reminder of what could have been. Now, here I am, over a month later, still without the furniture I paid for. And honestly? I wouldn’t recommend Bob’s Furniture to anyone unless you’re looking for a lesson in patience or maybe an excuse to practice yoga—because you’ll be spending a lot of time sitting on the floor. In the end, all I wanted was a sofa. What I got was a cautionary tale. Buyers beware.

    Purchased sofa, love seat and chair set from Bob's Discount Furniture on 10/04/2024. They would not deliver it because it was only available in store. We were purchasing it for our new home but we were not making settlement until 11/04/2024. They would not hold it so I had to pick it up on 10/09/2024 and store it in my garage. After moving we called them on 11/18/2024 and told them that a spring seems to have come loose on the love seat back. They sent a repair person out on 11/23/2024 and he said he repaired it.

    Now on 12/23/2024 we had to call again and told them more springs broke on both seat backs. Repair person came out on 12/27/2024 and said it is not repairable. After talking to Bob's they said a replacement is not available and they would give us a credit {not a refund} towards a different set. They did not have anything in my price range {the closest thing they had would cost me $1200.00 more} and that's the best thing they could do. Would not recommend Bob's to anyone.

    Bought the farm house sofa and love seat. Absolutely love them. Only flaw we have is the power recliner buttons being on the inside of the furniture everyone has hit the buttons with their legs and when you have a phone charger plugged in it bends when you sit down.     Please don't waste your time or money or fall for the sales tactics. All they care about is selling you cheap furniture that doesn't last over 6 months. Goofproof doesn't work on furniture so please don't fall for it. You're better off going to a furniture outlet you see on the city streets. They have a way better quality of furniture, tables, chairs etc. I bought a table and chair set and sleeper and sectional from Bob's. It's a disappointment I regret. Very cheap furniture and it falls apart.

    This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had. To start, they sent a right hand sofa with a right hand chaise. Had to wait another week for the correct sofa while the wrong one sat in the middle of our living room. Customer service is absolutely horrendous. Asked for a supervisor a total of 6 times on 6 different calls because they would disconnect me every time I asked. Joshua, the fifth "customer service" rep I talked to was extremely antagonistic and condescending. Should have been fired after the way he spoke to me. When I finally did get through, they did absolutely nothing. Come replacement delivery today.

    The sofa does not line up properly with the chaise at all. The back is at the wrong angle and the whole sofa sits crooked when it's hooked up to the chaise. (See pictures) It looks terrible. Poor craftsmanship, poor customer service and the worst experience I ever had. A legitimate company accepts returns. Bob's does not. That should tell you everything you need to know. I will never use Bob's again and I will not recommend them to ANYONE!!

    If you're thinking about purchasing furniture from Bob's, Don't. Do. It. Bob's Discount Furniture Bob's Discount Furniture. We bought a couch and got the goof proof protection in mid 2023. We've had two different claims denied because it's normal wear and tear. Our couch is literally splitting at the seams because my husband sits there a couple times a week and they're denying the claim because it's normal wear and tear. The worst part is, my portion of the couch is dented. It's been dented for about 8 months, but I was lazy and didn't feel like filing a claim. Well, too bad, it's normal wear and tear now.

    We called Bob's and they said it's only covered for factory defects for one year. The couch is 18 months old. So now, after spending $1200 on the couch, we have to go out and buy a new couch. Of course, we could fight them or, as I said to the rep, I could stab the couch and they'd cover it, but I don't want it anymore. I'm done with Bob's and their crappy customer service, crappy product quality, and crappy warranty. We've had so many problems with the two living/dining furniture pieces we've bought.     First off I thought I was buying a well made couch seeing as we spent about 4,000 dollars on something we were hoping to last! I have it only 4 yrs and have had nothing but issues starting the 1st month we got it. From the material breaking, sewing coming undone, etc! I also bought the goof proof because I have small children and dogs and we again wanted a couch that would last. I swear I have filed 3 claims and every single one gets denied. The furniture is falling apart and their "extra" protection that they promised they would replace they never do.

    Do not buy from BOB's. It is an absolute overpriced nightmare. I also found out a man in New York was trying to sue for the very reason I am filing this review. I too will be contacting a lawyer, this is absolutely ridiculous. The couch has been falling apart from the 1st month we owned it!!! They claim the goof proof covered all the claims I made and now all of sudden it doesn't! The treads are coming out, the zipper is broken. It's tearing everywhere. If I could upload all the damages they consider is wear and tear I would! Wear and tear after only having the couch for 4 yrs. Haha ridiculous!

    I recently moved and had to buy everything. I bought a sofa and mattress from Bob's. Initially I was very happy. The employees and products purchased were very good. But then I started seeing bugs. Bed bugs. Exterminators came at least 7 times, but could not get rid of them. I was told by one of the technicians that the 'ground zero' for the bugs is the sofa. As a last resort, my apartment was heated to 120 degrees for 24 hours. Still had bugs. I ended up throwing my $1300 sofa into the trash and am still paying for it.No one else in my complex had bed bugs. When I googled Bob's furniture/bed bugs, it seems they have had more than one lawsuit for bedbugs. During this time, 5 months, I contacted Bob's and they would not do anything. It's a lot of money gone.

    If I could give zero stars I would. We purchased bar stools from Bob’s Furniture online. When they arrived they were the wrong stools; they did not match the description. I spoke with “customer service”, told the associate they didn’t match and we don’t want them. I sent photos of the stools and the order/description. The Bob’s associate admitted the error was on Bob’s for having the wrong description on the website. However, since a 3rd party shipped the item “the order needed to be processed/cancelled” through them. Her solution was I pay the $700 for the stools we don’t want and they’d give us a $130 voucher. No! So, the solution is they will send me FedEx labels to ship them back.

    A week later & nothing. No help from Bob’s “customer service”. I’m told I have to “just wait“ because they “don’t have a phone number for the vendor!?” (WHAT?!) No refund yet either even though the website says all returns will be paid in 10 days. I’m just continuously told they have to wait for the 3rd party to receive the returned of the merchandise. But I can’t return them because the order is “open” and we have no labels. WORST experience ever. If we ever get this resolved, get the stools returned, get the refund, and they can make up for this horrible experience I’ll come back and update this. I’m not holding my breath.

    Buyer beware. Furniture we received is the most uncomfortable I've ever had. No returns no credit. They sent out a technician as they called him. I asked about indentation on area of sectional, told me that was normal. I laughed!! He said because they have cardboard underneath. I said WHAT! He proceeded to tell me it was normal. All and all never will get my business again! IT'S JUNK!!!! Customer service gave me the run around and told me I was stuck with it!!!

We were unable to move due to a remodel controlled by Murphy's Law. Hurricanes, 1 contractor injuries (not on my site thank fully). Electrician left in middle due to catastrophic injury.     We have purchased from Bob's in the past and appreciate the discounted costs knowing full well we’re not paying for top quality. The issue we have is the absolutely terrible business practices. We purchased a king size mattress and were told that the old one would be taken. We agreed on it at the time of purchase. When the mattress was delivered we were then told this was a “white glove service not included in your contract”.. We had a discussed the pick up at the store and it was verified by the associate. Only reason we purchased was because we’d get the older one removed! Delivery drivers call customer service, they say “sorry for miscommunication - nothing we can do.”

    I spend an hour with multiple customer service agents and they all apologized and said “nothing we can do, sorry we told you that at the store”. There is now a huge mattress in our kitchen we can’t get rid of. Bob's response to us is: that they are not liable, the individual who sold is..they can’t help..This is an incredibly horrific business model. Your organization takes no responsibility and instead blames their employees! This is a best practices issue. Miscommunications happen, and an organization needs to take fault when it’s appropriate. This was 100% on Bob's, we wouldn’t purchase if we couldn’t get rid of the old mattress. No interest in customer retention. Will never use them again and advise anyone to not buy from them.

    Where should I start? So my wife and I went into their Fort Wayne store to look at new living room furniture. After spending an hour in the store, we settled on a couch and love seat set. Now the sales rep tried to sell us on the “white glove delivery” stating they move out our old furniture and clean up the mess, never telling us that if we did the threshold that our couches do not come assembled and we would have to assemble them. After a disagreement with the sales rep on delivery dates. we finally get it scheduled and we leave. Well the delivery date comes and not only were they late, the just dropped off 2 huge boxes. So I called their customer service and they actually credited the delivery charge for the inconvenience.

    Well now we come to a month and half later, last night I was moving the love seat to clean behind it and the middle section actually came apart. It is only held on by 4 staples, nothing else. So cheaply made for the $800 I spent on it. I called customer service and they were like, "Well you need to text us pictures and talk to their rep via text." I said, "No, I want someone on the phone and asked for a manager." They hung up, I called several more times asking for a manager and they kept giving me the runaround.

    So I drove to the store, I walk in and they are all sitting on couches playing with their phones. I asked to speak to the store manager and this guy (that refused to give me his name). Started arguing with me saying I needed to call their customer service and I asked for their regional manager’s contact number and they said, "Oh well we don’t have that" and I told them that they can contact corporate and get it. There was just a back and forth with them when another man (named Noah) interjected and said he was the store manager. He said he would get me scheduled for Dec 2nd, I said that wouldn’t work for me due to my work schedule so the only date that would work after the 2nd is Dec 7th. Which I was not happy about, the manager was just being argumentative and I said I needed a sooner date than Dec 2nd.

    He said that he couldn’t accommodate that and I said, "Well you need to figure something out because there are large staples hanging out that my children can get injured on." He said that it wasn’t his problem And I said, "Well apparently you have never heard of the customer as is right" and he said, that he has but in this case the customer is wrong. We continued to go back and forth to the point he said I needed to leave and called the police on me. So while I was outside of the store, I called and got their corporate escalations which said that it shouldn’t have got to the point that it did and that unfortunately they could only get out there on Dec 7th since the other dates wouldn’t work. Based on their horrible customer service and cheaply made products, I will never do business with Bob’s Discount Furniture again.

    My experience when dealing with the employees at the physical location of where I spent a large sum of money to furnish my new home, were absolutely pleasant. However, after I reviewed my invoices and compared them with my bank statements, it can’t to my attention that close to 1,000 dollars had not been refunded to my account after I made exchanges for less expensive items OR cancelled items altogether. The physical store manager was helpful in attempting to resolve this issue but even he has to send everything to accounting because the formula for crediting isn’t as simple as a price for price exchange or getting 100% of the money you spent on an item refunded back for you. For example a $600 dollar product cancelled should be refunded at $600 but it doesn’t work that way apparently. Or a $600 item exchanged for a $400 item, I would assume the difference would be $200 but again, it isn’t that simple nor is it explained to the consumer.

    I also found out that what I thought should have been refunded to my account was just issued as a “store credit” and never returned to my bank account. And this was never ever disclosed to me. The formula for cancellations, refunds, and exchanges should be so straightforward that even the physical store manager can do this without having to go to the accounting department to understand the formula, etc. The physical store manager believes I am still owed money but there are too many “outliers” and he has to forward everything to accounting.

    I find this to be incredibly deceptive and I don’t believe this should be happening, especially when it isn’t disclosed to the consumer. Review your invoices and your bank statements if you’ve purchased items here then had to do cancellations/exchanges and should have been credited a refund. Chances are it was never credited to your bank account as it should have been and is sitting with your store account as a “store credit”.

    I purchased a bedframe from BOB's in August 2024. The product was not as expected. The bed frame was very low to the floor. I was expecting it to be higher off the floor. The frame was too long and wide for 14" mattress. There was a lot of space between the bed and frame....OK. But tell me how the bedframe is already coming apart after 2 mos. Unacceptable.

    I bought a furniture on line in this store and they ship three stools through Fedex. When I made the purchase all was finance. I paid off all the charges and leave my account open. After two years I received a charge and call the bank to see what was that charge, they advise me to call Bob's Furniture which I did. I find that out that after two years they decided to charge me for the delivery of the furniture, which for me doesn't make sense. I paid off all the charge and how it is that so further in the future I received this charge. It does not feel right. Feels like scam to me and who warranty me that I will not going to receive a charge again with the same excuse. Their customer care stink and they are a bunch of thieves!

The offgassing is so severe it triggers asthma attacks and I live in a 700sq ft apartment so totally immersed in it.     I purchased a king mattress, foundation and bed frame from the Bobs Furniture store in Madison Wisconsin for my daughter and son-in-law as they just moved there. Mattress and Foundation was delivered on time, but no bedframe. I was told the bed frame was coming from an outside vendor and would be delivered UPS/FedEx etc. directly to the house. It never arrived, so I called to cancel. I was told it would arrive in 3 days, so I waited. It did not arrive, so I called again to cancel. I was told they would cancel if item was not in transit and was told to wait to hear from them. 5 days later no response from them.

    Bedframe arrived one month after receiving mattress and foundation!! I called to return bedframe as I had already purchased one from Wayfair (which arrived the next day and half the cost) - thank you Wayfair for great service and pricing!! Now, I've been dealing with customer service at Bob's to return the bedframe, that I was told was cancelled, but it was not. I've been waiting for a return shipping label for the past 2 weeks. I've never dealt with such bad customer service in my life!!!

    Ordered my first piece of Bob’s furniture. I live in an apartment building and made it clear NUMEROUS TIMES that there are delivery day/time constraints which the staff in store noted Monday thru Saturday 9-3. I get notification that my delivery is due to come at 7:45. No good. Speak to customer service who tell me they’ll put in a request for the delivery time which should have been noted to begin with. This was the day before my delivery. The morning of delivery I get a text at 6am stating my delivery would be there in an hour. Again, no good. I get a call from the driver a little after 7 saying they’d be there at 7:30. Still no good.

    He says he’ll see if he can move schedule around and call me back. I get a call from customer service at a little after 8am stating my delivery time has been denied and I need to reschedule. I tell her what the driver said. Right after I hang up with customer service the driver calls and lo and behold they can’t do it. Now of course I call customer service and get a message they’re not open. First and last time ordering from Bob’s.

    Furniture fell apart. They tried to repair and it fell apart again! Then would only give store credit. The stuff we got to replace it isn't anything we wanted or needed.     Bob's Discount Furniture is undoubtedly the most abhorrent business I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, not just as a furniture retailer, but in my entire life. From the moment I stepped into the store, I was greeted by a salesman named Domingo, whose demeanor was shockingly abrupt, rude, and downright sleazy. To make matters worse, Domingo had the audacity to add a $149 "goof-proof" charge to my purchase, despite my explicit instructions not to do so. This blatant disregard for my wishes was just the beginning of my harrowing experience with this deplorable company.

    The true nightmare, however, unfolded when I only received one piece of my order – the couch – and not the accompanying loveseat that I had paid for in full. The lack of communication and coordination between departments at Bob's Discount Furniture is truly staggering. It has been two long months since I placed my order, and I am still waiting for the loveseat, despite countless phone calls to customer service, shipping, and the store itself. No one seems to have a definitive answer or timeline for when I can expect to receive the missing piece of my furniture set.

    To add insult to injury, my 17-year-old daughter was also made to feel deeply uncomfortable by the slimy, predatory behavior of the salesman, Domingo, which she told me afterwards. His conduct was nothing short of reprehensible, and I shudder to think of the impact it may have had on my child. Describing this company as "shady" would be a gross understatement. Bob's Discount Furniture is a veritable cesspool of dishonesty, incompetence, and utter disregard for its customers. I have spent a total of 10 grueling hours on the phone, trying in vain to resolve this issue, only to be met with endless delays and empty promises.

    At this point, I have made the decision to return the lone couch I have received and take my business elsewhere. I will be pursuing legal action against Bob's Discount Furniture for their blatant breach of contract, and I sincerely hope that this abhorrent establishment is forced to close its doors for good. No one, not even my worst enemy, deserves to endure the level of frustration, disappointment, and sheer disrespect that I have experienced at the hands of this deplorable company.

    If you value your time, your money, and your sanity, I implore you to steer clear of Bob's Discount Furniture at all costs. This is a business that thrives on deception, disorganization, and the complete disregard for the well-being of its customers. It is a veritable dumpster fire of a company, and I cannot recommend it strongly enough to avoid it at all costs.

    We purchased a furniture from BOB's Discount Store in Huntington Beach, CA. on April 23, 2024, The furniture didn't fit our expectation and we returned it in a week. When we return the furniture it took over 2 hrs for a store associate to process, and we were told at the store that the refund will be automatically deposited in the card used during purchase within 7-10 business days. After two weeks there wasn't any deposit, so we went back to the store, a store associate told us we need to have "master" account created, we didn't know what that was, but they created the account for us, and they told us we will get an email in 24 hrs asking us how the refund should be paid. They told us if we didn't respond to the email, the bank would automatically send checks to the address of the buyer.

    Waited 10 days and no check in the mail. After 2 weeks they told us over the phone they shipped a refund check but we didn't receive/deposited it. We confirmed the address. But No checks found in the mail. Few days later another customer service informed us that there wasn't any check sent to us. After another 2 weeks customer service informed us we must respond to the email and we went through all the steps (registration, choose how to get paid (we picked check in the mail), set a password, and a congratulations message that states check will be issued in 1 - 3 business days). Waited a week no refund. Two weeks later we call customer service again and went thru the steps listed above with the agent to make sure I didn't make any mistake registering.

    A week later I called customer service and I was told he will call back again after checking with Bank of America - - - - He didn't call us. I called customer service again few more times but every time I call no solid answer, they will tell me whatever comes to their mouth to end the conversation. The last call was done at the beginning of September 2024 (after 5 months) and customer service said he couldn't find any record in the system regarding the purchase or the return. If he is telling us the truth it means the company has deleted our record form their system. Over six months past and we didn't receive any refund. We will never go the store again!!!

    We went into Bob's in Scarborough Maine to purchase a sofa. We were greeted by Bill B. After some time spent looking, we decided to purchase one. Bill mentioned about the "Goof Proof". We specifically asked about certain coverages on the buttons and sofa, and he claimed "yes, all covered under Goof". So, we spent an additional $200.00 on top of the $1400.00 for the sofa. Here we are 2 years later, the sofa stopped reclining and charging ports stopped working. I filed a goof claim just to be denied. They sent a tech to our home who made claim it "would be covered", which we have on our camera. However, Goof denied. So now we have a non-working sofa. I have called 7 times and every time they call back, they hang up "while connecting to a rep".

    I have reached out to Bob's customer service Sabrina S via their chat function she also claimed there was nothing they could do. When I submitted an Implied Warranty notice into the chat with Sabrina and requested an email and phone number to someone "above her", she stopped responding. Not even have a good day!

    Not only are they misleading and distrustful they scam people for money with their "Goof Guarantee". Guardian is the third party that holds their Goof Proof. They also are dishonest and misleading when it comes to claims. Bob's advertisements on their website is also false for what is covered under Goof. The amount of false advertising.

    I can't recommend your store, paid $500 for a table set. When it got delivered, the delivery people were filthy. They set up a table that was broken. The table fell. I got hurt, your store didn't care I got hurt. It took about a month to get my money back and about 50 phone calls, how can anybody not care about somebody getting injured on receiving a broken table that weighed about a hundred pounds and then customer service tells me, "Have a neighbor move it for you." Who does that? Worst experience I had in my life, just don't treat people like that. I told over five people. I pulled my back out, nobody ever called me back or cared. I got hurt. I was never offered anything, sad.

    Would definitely not recommend Bob's Discount furniture. Bad experience with buying a mattress from Bob's this summer. Showroom and trying out mattresses went fine. Some staff super nice, some staff just neutral. Ended up buying a ~$1800 mattress that seemed pretty good. They said they do returns or exchanges between 30 and 90 days after buying it. They want you to wait 30 days to see if you can get used to it. I guess that's fair.

    After I slept on it for a week I was really miserable. I was getting really sore hips and shoulders from how rigid it was. Definitely too firm, was starting to really hurt after sleeping on it overnight. A few minutes was fine, but hours was painful. So I waited 30 days. Didn't get used to it. Tried to return it. I just wanted my cash back so I could shop around for another mattress elsewhere. The mattress definitely wasn't anywhere close to being worth what I paid for it. Not quality for the cost.

    Website made it seem like it was easy to do a return. But the website just gave me circular links and dead ends. Finally found customer support number. Had to navigate a maze of menus, none of which gave an option to return or enhance or talk to a real person. Finally got to a customer support person by accident after a good 30 minutes of being lost and being put on hold.

    The most frustrating part of this whole experience is that the guy gave me the "hard sell" to keep it. Like a sleazy used car salesman. I stated clearly I wanted to return it for my money back. He lied and said it wasn't their policy to allow returns, only exchanges. I said the website disagree. He lied and said the delivery thing I signed said it was a final sale or something. He provided no such evidence. I tried to see the receipt they sent me but it turned out to be an expired link, not an actual document. I had to ask him to resend me my own receipt. He said he couldn't do a return without a receipt, but also that he couldn't see my receipt himself, only have a copy sent to my email.

    We did that, then I finally got the receipt as a non expired link. Then after more haggling from him, he finally "was able to work out a special one time with his manager" to do the return. After even more sleaziness, they did the return, picked up the mattress, and I got my money back, minus ~$100 for delivery fee which is fine. Horrid process with customer service and returns. They really tried to scam me out of my return. It wasn't a quality product in the first place. I won't be shopping at Bob's discount ever again. Not worth it. I wouldn't recommend anyone else shop there either. Mediocre product with slimy business practices.

    I will never ever go to Bob's Furniture again. Will not recommend to friends or family. They are non empathetic liars and should not be selling bad quality furniture to people who trust their word. I had a horrible quality mattress that I paid over $1000 for and I had to say I was going to file a complaint because the delivery men didn’t want to do their job and pick up the horrible quality mattress. It was finally picked up but then they never refunded me. I’m still responsible to pay bob’s furniture for this mattress I already returned due to the quality. They refunded me but then added the mattress back on my credit account. Then they said they were sending me a check for the amount of the mattress which makes ZERO sense.

    If you buy something using credit, then your return should reflect back on the card, not sent in the form of a check. I never even ended up receiving a check, and after speaking to management about the return, I was told to ignore the check and that they would process the return back on the card it was paid for with. However, it’s been weeks and still nothing. Still no credit back to reflect the return. So I’m still responsible to pay for a mattress I don’t even have. I had to call the credit company and tell them what was happening and they are going to reach out to bob’s furniture themselves to get the refund processed. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. I am so disappointed and disgusted with the lack of trust. Be careful purchasing from this company. They are not honest.

    Like everyone else we got the warranty for our bedroom set. The wood planks are snapping and few legs are broken. The installers stripped the screws.     We purchased a couch over Labor Day weekend from the clearance section. At Bob's in Novi, MI. Picked it up the next day and brought it home to find the couch was infested with bed bugs. I would never think to check a couch in the store. But within 30mins of it in our house my husband saw bugs around the armrest compartments. Upon further looking bed bugs could be found in every seam/crease or zipper of the couch. Live bed bugs, dead ones, casing of dead bugs. Definitely bed bugs. We had to immediately move it back out. Ended up throwing out our living room rugs and two days rigorously cleaning/spraying our home bc we had no clue if a bug fell off the couch while moving it in.

    The manager made us bring the couch back to the store for a refund. We did get a full refund, we paid in cash and it took 15 days to get a check back. The manager didn’t seem too apologetic or concerned. He said he called an exterminator. We waited outside the loading dock about 20 minutes before he came to take the couch back. Brought some spray outside also. Which was concerning bc why bother spraying down the couch if it will just be thrown out. The couch was touching other furniture in the clearance section, I’m sure other couches had a very high chance of being infested as well.

    Bob's sent us out a used mattress after replacing the faulty one. Bed frame broke not even a month after getting it and is still broken. We have gone through 3 faulty mattress and are still waiting on our "new" one. We have filed a complaint with the BBB. We have followed up with customer service and managers.     Not worth it and actually a couple of comments:
    1. Sales rep on the phone always in a rush for that reason, Trying to get to the next person to make a sale.
    2. Some are disrespectful over the phone which I will never buy from them.
    3. Sales person on the floor in Southington, Ct.: They try to sell you something stating they have the same that they bought Which is a lie. That is a sales pitch.
    4. 3 times they had to come to the house 'cause it was the same bed frame they had and they came 'cause it broke the same week.
    5. Wedge pillow I ordered online says you receive it within 3 to 7 days and they kept apologizing about that for the last month and a half and had to order another one at a different vendor from their site. Remind I bought it with a gift card they gave me. Also it’s way cheaper elsewhere.
    6. It’s not a good place to buy furniture.
    7. The Bob's memory foam pillow terrible.
    8. The bed protector way cheaper elsewhere.
    9. You're not getting a good deal. Bad quality.
    10. The cheap price comes out expensive on the long run.

    So I’m done with Bob's with a bad experience. Not again!

    I had been reviewing furniture on line for a couple of weeks and finally decided to make the hour and 1/2 drive to the Reynoldsburg store. I saw a sectional that I was interested in the outlet spot in the back. It was power everything but I wasn’t plugged in at first for us to test, a salesman walked up and said he would plug it in for us and upon doing so another couple walked up and was sitting on it and over took the salesman’s attention from us. The salesman at that point totally ignored us and was answering questions from the other people there after we were. He walked away with them and another sales person came up to me and asked if I need help.

    When I asked for the price of the sectional he said that the other people were in the middle of purchasing it from the other salesman. I explained to him that the salesman started to help us first and that the other customers came up after we were already there but it did no good to explain the situation. I Couldn’t get another one at the same price and that one was gone…. Started to tell me how sorry he was but at that point I was so angry about the treatment we received that I turned around and walked out of the store.

    Had the other couple been there first I would have walked away and probably found something else but as it stands I will never be back to this store again!! I was a new customer walking into this store to purchase more than just a sectional and walked out empty handed with more than a bad taste in my mouth from one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Hopefully this review can help someone else before they waste their time and money!!

    ORDER FURNITURE ELSEWHERE!!!! I ordered a bed for my daughter over a month ago. The delivery team messed everything up. They were not at my house, left me a voicemail stating that they wanted me to confirm the address. Called back and confirmed address is exactly how my order has it. Then missed another call because I was on the phone with customer service, stating they were waiting outside my house for 15 minutes. They were not at my house ever, I was waiting on the front porch talking to the customer service team. How could they have been at my house when they apparently didn't even have my address correct apparently. I was provided with no remorse by all agents who just said, "Sorry you missed your delivery". WHAT A JOKE! No remorse or trying to make anything right on their end.

    UPDATE 1: Finally got the shipping company to delivery bed... came to me broken. Said they would reschedule me a week later after already waiting a month for this bed. Got them to rush it and send it out today, Friday, 2 days later. Guess what!!!! CAME BROKEN AGAIN!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!!!! STAY AWAY AT ALL MEASURES!!!!

    Horrible service. I contacted Bob's because the chair that I had. What's making a squeaky noise and it has some dirt stains on it? So they were gonna send a technician out to do a repair. But I canceled that appointment 2 days prior because I had to work. Today is Thursday. The technician shows up. I'm not home, so he hangs out in my driveway. For 3 hours when I finally was able to track down the number that he called me from for my cellphone I called him, he did not answer. And I asked him, is there a reason why he's been sitting at my house in my driveway?

    For almost 3 hours, he claimed his car broke down and he was waiting to get a jump, but I clearly saw him on my ring camera leave and then he backed back up into my driveway, so I know that his vehicle was working. I contacted Bob's. Spoke to someone named Miguel. Of course, he was no help at all. They had no communication with their technicians or their drivers. I was on hold with him for 46 minutes trying to get this gentleman to leave my driveway.

    I asked Miguel, if that's his real name to put a supervisor on the phone or floor manager. He told me no. I say, "You're telling me no, you're not gonna put someone on the phone a supervisor or a manager." And he said, "Yes, so if there's anything else I can do for you." I said, "Yes, I need you to put a manager on the floor." He again emphasized to tell me now, so Bob's Furniture thinks that it's For their technicians to be in someone's driveway for almost 3 hours, it's okay for them to tell you that they're not gonna put a supervisor or manager on the phone. After you spent your hard-earned money at this store and they proceed to tell you that they didn't do any damage to your house. So there's nothing else they can do so technician could come here and you can have no direct communication with him.

    You're telling me on the phone that he's not even answering the phone when you call him. You don't know if I have small kids. Getting ready to get home from school and he's sitting in my driveway for almost 3 hours and you tell me that you're not gonna put a supervisor or a manager on the phone, because they did no damage to my property. Bob's furniture do better cause you just lost a customer. I don't even want to deal with y'all anymore.

    I have read so many terrible reviews here that I almost gave up on purchasing my sofa from them. So I had to come back and say: I bought a sofa from the Shelby Township store, the salesperson, Kerry, was very nice and not pushy, the delivery happened exactly the day she said it would and the item came perfectly packed and no issues.     Bed Bug Alert! On 4-23-24 we purchase a bedroom suit, mattress and boxspring for a total of $5000.- with bedbugs! A couple of days after it was delivered we noticed ticks or so we thought. It was springtime and really didn't think much of it. Then my son developed a rash all over his body! We thought it was allergies. Finally, my husband started getting the rash all over his body! He woke up to bugs scurrying all about the bedroom. This all took place within 3 months.

    We hired an exterminator at the hefty price of $2200-! Had to take time off of work to prepare for them to come in. Not to mention after they spray I had to take my son and 2 dogs for a 4-hour drive! We have incurred lots of bills- water and electric because everything must be washed in hot water. Cleaning products and sprays, now all 3 bedroom mattresses and box springs need replaced. Walls, carpet and curtains are ruined because the bedbugs poop on them. I have to replace my vacuum. Dr. bills have been incurred.

    Had to throw out clothing and shoes that were in boxes under our bed. Apparently, they love boxes. I now have no winter shoes! I have anxiety, panic attacks that we will not get rid of them! I am exhausted from cleaning constantly! Itching, crying all the time, headaches and all Bob's Discount Furniture said is" It's not their problem and it's environmental"! I have repeatedly talked to the managers of the store and corporate. They will not help me! They have offered nothing! I told them I didn't want their environmental problem! They won't take it back and we are suffering. I am letting everyone know to not purchase anything from this company! Please! We are out thousands of dollars! I am calling the Better Business Bureau and an attorney!

    I bought an adjustable bed from this store a few years ago and it has been okay so far. The delivery people left a lot to be desired, but the store apparently contracts the delivery out to third party delivery companies. So, I recently bought a recliner from Bob's online. It looked nice, and was reasonably priced so I placed the order. 8:30 that night I start getting phone calls from the store. The person barely spoke English and said he needed to confirm my information and then asked for my credit card number - which they already have. Turns out the call was really an attempt to upsell and get me to buy the extended warranty. I got delivery of the chair last week, and what a disappointment. Part of the problem is I really should not have bought this online - or I should have read the reviews. I'm elderly and disabled and the chair is very difficult for me to use.

    The mechanism is so stiff and hard to operate that I have difficulty raising and lowering the leg rest. I bought an extender arm but that doesn't really help. Reviews online mention this about the chair. The chair is also poorly made and has a piece of wood on one side below the arm that's not even covered with padding - just the fabric - so that when you sit in the chair it pokes you in the side. Turns out I really hate this chair. As far as their delivery process - they only give you a 6AM to Noon window or a "wait all day" window. They promised to contact me the day prior with a more exact time but never did so. I guess it really does come down to you get what you pay for - discount products and discount service. I definitely won't be buying from them again.

    I ordered a chair for my spare bedroom. In the showroom the chair looked much lighter and would look great. Trying to lighten up room with warm colors. I called customer service as I wanted to exchange for different color or different chair entirely. Representative informed me that they do not allow exchanges unless piece is damaged.     Can't help but notice that you can't post or leave reviews on Bob's Facebook page. Maybe because they immediately charge your credit card, set up a future delivery date, and then text you a few days before scheduled delivery and say oops something went wrong...now you have to go without any furniture for another 6-7 weeks! Then when you tell them forget it, they tell you that even though they immediately charged your credit card, it will be 8-10 business days before they reverse the charge!

    Terrible!!! I was to have a delivery on July 27th, 2024 between the hours of 11a-2pm. They came a 9:30am without prior notification. What if I was not home. Secondly 2 beds were to be delivered they came with only 1 bed. They said because the warehouse did not send the 2nd bed. That should have been checked and the customer (me) notified of such. I was notified until they got to the house and then asked me the customer how many beds am I supposed to get, they then proceeded to open the boxes in the street (the entrance to my building, NOT THE INSIDE of the building)--they asked me if I wanted them to leave that bed and then come back to deliver the other bed which to me made absolutely no sense, so I told them to take the bed back and when they get both beds to deliver both of them.

    Meanwhile, one of the delivery guys is on the phone with Bob's and I'm on the phone with Bob's...Okay so we then decide on July 31st I told them that there would be no one home until 4pm. I DID NOT SAY AFTER 4PM, they said okay. I am a nurse and I left work early so that I could get home at 4pm, I was home at 3:20pm at which time I was on the phone with Bob's only for them to tell me I have to wait until next week Aug 6th...I think there is a language barrier with the telephone operators and delivery people I spoke to, because they kept telling me that I said I could not be home until after 4pm. I DID NOT SAY AFTER 4PM, I SAID AT 4P....I AM THINKING ABOUT CANCELLING THE WHOLE ORDER!!!

    Stay very far away!! Sales people tell you one thing and customer service tells you something totally different. When you call customer service you are expected to get customer service! They tell us if we have issues we need to drive to the store (which is over 1 hr away) to take it up with the store. We bought over $5000 in furniture and paid for the white glove delivery service. That service included all the furniture set up and garbage taken out. It was around $400.00. Not all the furniture was going to be delivered at the same time because it wasn't available. We specifically asked if we would be charged extra for delivery and we were told NO!!!

    We waited over 90 days to get our first delivery then a few weeks later we got the second piece of furniture and another couple of weeks we finally got the last piece. We financed all the furniture with Bob's Furniture and when we finally got our first statement after all the furniture was delivered they charged us for 3 different delivered charges. They are liars and scam artists. Stay far away. DO NOT BUY NOTHING FROM THEM NO MATTER HOW HARD UP YOU ARE FOR FURNITURE!! We are not the first people this has happened to.

    I walked into my brand new apartment with no furniture so I decided to go to Bob's Furniture on 116th in Harlem New York. David, the salesman was awesome with me. We were looking at living room sets, bedroom and kitchen stuff for 3-4 hours a little between 9 & 10 thousand dollars later, everything was set to go. Until the movers scratch my brand new shalak floor I Which I paid to have that done. They also scuff my wall with the t.V furniture. They delivered destroyed and damaged furniture to my apartment which they refused to take back. I had to complain to David the sales rep and bob's customer service center.

    Also one of the movers was arguing with my neighbors because the neighbor was complaining about all the loud noise and the mess they were making in the hallway. I was telling them to take back the Damage furniture which they refused to. There were more concerned about giving me a piece of paper to call So I could give them good reviews. It's taking about four different deliveries to swipe out the damaged furniture for new ones. I'm not sure what's going on with the delivery people, but I repeatedly tell them to come after 10 AM. Because a building does not allow anyone to move in or out Until 9am They take it upon themselves to email me They'll be at my home between 7am & 10am. What part of 9 am do they not understand.

    Do not do business with them, you’ll wait forever for the delivery day and then Customer Service will be rude, they will hung up at you and laugh at you to tell you that there is no delivery scheduled for you. If you want a refund the answer is, you need to get your delivery first then we can discuss the refund, if you ask for a supervisor the wait time is 30 minutes but they will hung up at you way before 5 minutes, the same agent will call back asking why you called then try to start again the conversation and hung up again when they lie saying they will transfer to a supervisor.

    I wish 0 stars were allowed as a rating. While my experience in the store was decent (friendly and not too pushy) the delivery process has been a nightmare. One random cancel in the middle of the night and then a reschedule that never showed up on the delivery date. Customer service was unhelpful, disorganized and continued to pass the call to the next person without any real resolution often blaming the other guy. I can't tell you how many different stories I heard. When a supervisor could be reached even she was unhelpful and promised something she couldn't deliver. Instead, I was forced to wait two more weeks or cancel and take my business elsewhere.

    I tried Bob's Furniture for the first time and ordered the three seater sofa and coffee tables from them. The labour which came with the delivery they were so terrible. They didn't even tried to fit that sofa from downstairs to the second floor and after assembling coffee tables top glass was moving so easy anybody can be injured while cleaning it. I told one of the guy that this stuff is moving. He said, "Oh okay let me come back," and they departed from the spot right away. This is not the experience I want to have with them and I will never ever recommend anyone to buy stuff from bob's furniture

Second: when I opened the box containing the chair, it was not the chair that I ordered. I tried contacting customer care. They said that they would call me back. Never happened. I then went to the Hyannis store and spoke to a gentleman there. He said that he would have someone call me. Never happened. I then went to the Dartmouth Store. Again they said they would have someone call me. Never happened.

    Third: When I opened the box that contained the desk I found 2 pieces of the drawer broken. Again I called customer care. I was told to go to the store with my complaint. When I went to the store, I was rudely told that they couldn't do anything about it and was handed a card and told to call customer care (at a different # than the one that I had called previously.) I called while I was still in the store and after being on hold for 20 mins. I was told by the agent that he didn't know how to get me a replacement, he would have someone call me on that day or the next day. Of course it never happened. So now I'm stuck with a chair that I don't want and a desk with a broken drawer. I will be reporting Bob's to Consumer Affairs and the Attorney General. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE from BOB'S. You will be sorry. Very poor delivery service AND extremely poor customer service.

    I wish I could give this place a below zero rating. The furniture is poorly made and you get a warranty that covers nothing so that's pointless then No one tries to help you even though they sold you a faulty couch and now after ONLY 3 YEARS you are set out to buy another couch because your couch completely broke and they will not repair it even though the couch was taken care of and it broke to no fault of your own. They take your money, make you think you have a warranty to fix damages then when you need to use your warranty they change words to better help them and screw you over. Please stay away from this store and go spend your money on a place that upholds their warranty policy and where your furniture won't break after only 3 years.

    I purchased a sofa section and the employee tell me to get a insurance, and I got a one for 5 years, never send a complaint until my recliner got damage, they send someone to see and the only thing he said was that he unplug my sofa, and left, now they don't answer my call or don't paid attention to the claim online, I am very disappointed with this. Now my sofa don't work and I have the total section that I have to throw away. If you gonna buy one of the section sofa don't buy a insurance because is a scam. They don't do anything to fix any problem, when you call Bob's they tell you to call another company that take care the insurance problem but they don't do anything, I even close the credit card from them so that way I will not buy nothing from them,

    STAY AWAY!.. I placed an order online, BOB purposely designed their site to not allow order cancellation. So I called in the day after when they are in, they say woopsie, we already shipped it out (no order still shows processing)… So now you Mr. end consumer, you pay for shipping label to return it. BOB knows the shipping will cost more than the items worth, and you as end consumer will not send it back because of shipping cost … so you are locked in. This is exactly when you need regulation, to prevent scammers like Bob’s Furnisher.

    Wooden leg on couch collapsed within 2 years of purchase. Goof proof protection will not cover as Guardian suggests it is normal wear and tear. Don't buy from this store and don't buy this plan if you do. It's a waste of money. Guardian will find every reason to deny your claim.

    I bought a reclining couch. Within 4 months the cushions were flattening out and wrinkled. The seat cushion was pulling to the right after using the reclining position leaving a large gap between the arm and the cushion. They sent out a person to look at it. He said it wasn't a manufacturer defect so there is nothing I can do. I was told it was normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear after only 4 months? I'm a senior citizen, live alone with no pets or kids! I put in a complaint with the BBB. This place is a scam and doesn't stand behind their product. Stay away from Bob's!

    Stay away from this store! Our salesman (Hank) showed us a bed and mattress, which we ordered and paid for. 5 weeks later the wrong bed is delivered. Bob's tells us we can get the bed we want for $300 more! BAIT AND SWITCH! The manager, Waverly, offered some convoluted math to tell us they'll credit us and ship the bed we want for only $233 more this time, claiming he's eating $1100 LOL! I refused and requested a full refund. Bed has been returned, but credit has STILL NOT been made to my credit card account. Go ANYWHERE else bot Bob's in Norwalk!!!

    My lovely salesperson was Trish at the Latham store. As we approached the doors she was making her way towards us. I had a bad experience at a different furniture store & was looking for more friendly communication. Trish was amazing. My couch is amazing.     Don't buy their extended warranty contracts. After a year of operation my electrical recliner was stuck open. I opened a service ticket that took almost a month for someone to come out to look at recliner. After testing the recliner's operation, he determined the issue was not the motor, the switch on side of recliner was bad. Except, the $250 extended warranty I purchased did not cover the $7 switch (Amazon price). He left my house with the recliner still broken. The contract flyer Bob's salesman gave me makes no mention of switch not being covered. It mentions it covers the breakdown or breakage of motor and upholstery mishaps. I opened a complaint with BBB.

    Stay away from this place.. Bob's has predatory lenders if you don’t quite qualify for their credit or have enough cash to buy it out right So the sales people don’t wanna lose a sale so they direct you to another lenders that’s in the store and they’re predatory And Bob’s headquarters, their corporate office say they cannot do anything about it. Yes, they can. They can get their predatory lenders out of their stores. They can have their sales people stop directing the customers to the back of the store where they are. They are very misleading And predatory lenders.

    Yes, I know you signed a contract. Supposed to read exactly everything that’s in that contract. Charging 30% when you try to work things out because you went a little over six months to pay in full because of medical issues and out of work. They don’t wanna work with you and then you find yourself paying over $ 2400 on a $1900 sectional @ 30% int. Didn’t see that coming and they want additional 3,000. Don’t think so.

    I purchased a marble dining table from Bob's approximately 2 months ago. The marble was never sealed and now has a large stain and several smaller ones due to absorption - marble is very porous and absorbent, and should be sealed before use. I called Bob's and was told by a representative that there was nothing that could be done, because the stain was not a manufacturer error. I disagree, since the failure to seal the stone and failure to inform me that the stone had not been sealed led to the stain. Bob's refused to offer any support or options.

    I made a purchase in Warwick, RI in April of 2024 for 2 living room end tables. I can honestly say I feel as though I was scammed. I did purchase the goof proof ins which is also another scam. I am still in the process of trying to resolve this situation. My tables were delivered and were damaged. They arranged to have a second set delivered to replace them. They were in worse shape than the first ones. Then they sent a tech to repair them and he informed me that they could not be repaired. These tables are 2 weeks old and I am already having all this trouble. I have placed several phone calls to the manager and he has not returned any of them. I did not go to a scratch and dent sale. I either want my money back or tables that are not damaged. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Bob's to anyone. I would advise them to stay away.

    Purchased sectional and GoofProof 2 yrs ago. Good Proof denied claim stating “DOES NOT COVER DAMAGES THAT ARE A RESULT OF NORMAL, EVERYDAY USE OF THE FURNITURE”. The paper we received at the time of purchase states breakage of frames, springs etc. IS covered. FRAME SHOULD NOT BREAK AFTER 2 years. Denial is final per email I received. The frame broke. We paid for protection and nothing. Very disappointed.

    Ordered sectional couch and ottoman. They texted me up to the morning of delivery that it was being delivered between 1:30 - 4:30. I already threw out my old couch.     Very disappointed with this Furniture company and how they dupe people into purchasing from them. The goofproof protection is not better. The sales associates are most likely to get paid on commission but they are only doing as they are told by management. So you can't blame them. But the owner needs to be SUED FOR FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I recommend that you go to another furniture store for furniture. BOB Fuinture is a ripp off. The furniture My purchase is on its way to the trash. I have the right mind to take this trash and sit in front their door. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO FILE A CLASS ACTION SUIT REACH OUT.

    Bought cat napper recliner in 2020. Love it. In 2023 screws came loose in mechanism. Man came tighten it all up. They said I had to pay another $70 to extend warranty till 2028. So I did. At the beginning of 2024 I heard it snap twice in the mechanism. So man came out fix or look at it. Had no clue what was wrong. Had to tell him. He was not very professional, acted very rude, and acted like he didn't want to be here. Didn't have any tools, not even a flashlight to look at it. Use his flashlight on his phone. Got done told me it was bent. I said yes it is also broke because I heard it snap. He said and I quote "I DONT DOUBT IT."

    A few days later Guardian text me and offer me the amount of the chair or the amount of the mechanism. I text back and said I just want my chair fixed. I love this chair. They told me I had 30 days to make up my mine or I would get nothing. I text back again and said I just want my chair fixed. Days went by and they finally text me and said they don't make this mechanism anymore. I looked it up and there are plenty of companies that still make the same model. Told them I wanted the phone no to their company that fixes their furniture. Never did hear anything back from that request.

    So days went by and I finally decided to take the amount for the chair. What I didn't know was I had to spend that money at Bob's again. Or it would not be any good. I DIDN'T WANT TO BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. WAS AFRAID THE SAME THING WOULD HAPPEN AGAIN. But I had no choice. And of course I had to spend some of my money to get half the chair I had. Then the Guardian warranty I just purchase last year 2023 was void and no good for my new chair. Had to buy new warranty. It should have been good on the new chair. So they rip me off for that.

    So I had to pruchase from Bob's again and had to purchase their warranty again from Guardian. I advise people don't waste your money on something that's gonna break in a few years and for them to hold up their end of their warranty you have to purchase from them again plus new warranty for everything that goes wrong. Very sorry I fell for a company that take advantage of people. Please read this review....
